Pokemon Special: Mewtwo Returns Part 3
Mew, Jen, and Molly end up meeting Mewtwo and the Clone Pokemon who now have to battle against Team Rocket to protect their home. However, Giovanni and Team Rocket close in and have their sights set on capturing the clone Pokemon, especially Mewtwo.
Now on the island, Mew and her friends have been captured by the Black Tulip and her crew. What's more, the Young Mewtwo reveals himself to Team Rocket.
"I must admit, I'm surprised. Who knew Dr. Fuji has created another Mewtwo without our knowledge," Black Tulip says.
"That Mewtwo is my friend so leave him alone!" Mew demands.
"Friend you say? So you've been with this Mewtwo, but for how long? I wonder?" Black Tulip says, much to Mew's irritation.
Black Tulip soon notices the little Pokemon, "Aren't they simply adorable?" and picks the baby Nidoqueen.
Luna shouts, "Those Pokemon are just babies! Leave them alone!
Soon, the mama Nidoqueen and the papa Rhydon jump to save their children, but the Black Tulip has come prepared. She tosses her eponymous flower on the ground, and creates an electric shock to stop the parent Pokemon in her tracks, allowing the grunts to stop them.
"Stop it, Domino!" Tomo shouts.
"Now, I know trainers catch their Pokemon with Pokéballs, but I prefer our method," Black Tulip says, and turns to the grunt, "Make certain not a single one gets away!"
And with the Grunts begin to capture the Pokeballs as Black Tulip says, "These Pokemon are just going to be used in experiments and as bait for Mewtwo. No sense in wasting Pokéballs."
Soon, Young Mewtwo angrily demands, "Release them, or I'll use force!"
"We'll see about that," Black Tulip says.
Young Mewtwo flies towards Black Tulip to use force. Then the Black Tulip throws another one of her flowers at Mewtwo. However, it ends up revealing some cables and wraps around Young Mewtwo and gives him a very brutal electric shock, causing him to fall unconscious.
"Mewtwo!" Mew cries out.
"Well that was easy. Probably not as strong as the original Mewtwo," Black Tulip says.
Mew growls in anger and charges at Black Tulip, knocking her and herself as she shouts, "How dare you hurt him?!"
Mew and Black Tulip fall to the ground, causing the little Nidoqueen to fall to the ground. The little one rushes to Mew to check to see if she's okay, and gives her a kiss.
Mew sits up as his hat falls off her head, "It's okay. I'm glad you're okay."
Black Tulip sits up and rubs her head, "Ow. Have to admit, you're one tough trainer."
But soon notices Mew's face.
Black Tulip is shocked and says in thought, "She looks like… but… but she's not…" She then brings out her binoculars and uses it to scan Mew, "Hmm, she's not a clone, and he didn't have any daughters besides Amber. But she's practically her double." She then smirks, "I could use her."
Later, Black Tulip finds Jessie and James in the cell and enters, "Well, what do we have here? Some rare and valuable Pokemon?"
"You know very well we're not Pokemon!" Jessie angrily says.
"Oh, that's right. I was mistaken. Team Rocket agents are as useless as you are rare. But they certainly are not very valuable!" Black Tulip says in remark.
Jessie growls in anger.
Black Tulip then radioes Giovanni, "009 to Giovanni. Except for Pokemon brought by some young trainers, the island's populated by Pokemon clones, and we've got em. And a special Pokemon and trainer."
"Really now?" Giovanni question.
"Turns out Dr. Fuji had another Mewtwo created. Probably as a backup in case the first one didn't pull through. Turns out, he's traveling with a young trainer who has strong resemblance to Dr. Fuji's diseased daughter, but she's not a clone. I believe she may be just the thing to capture the other Mewtwo."
Giovanni is a little surprised, but shows an evil smile on his face, "Excellent. The trap is set and now we have our bait."
Then calls out, "Mewtwo! Are you going to let your little friends battle me alone?"
"I cannot. I must help them," Mewtwo says.
All the clones start calling out.
"These guys all wanna help out, too," Meowth says.
Mewoth-Two says, "(You should come with us.)
"Who, me?" Meowth questions, "I should come along with you?" then turns to Pikachu and Eevee, "What do you tink?"
"Pika Pika!" (I say you come!) Pikachu says.
"Eevee Eevee!" (I agree. We need to do something," Eevee says.
"Well, okay!" Meowth says, "I have to admit, I ain't got a lot of experience at being unselfish, but if you can do it, I guess I can give it a try."
Pikachu turns to Pikachu-Two and Eevee-Two, "Pika!" (You too!)
"Pikachu," (I'm with you!) Piakchu-Two agrees.
"Eevee!" (Count me in!) Eevee-Two says.
"We must live, where and how we choose!" Mewtwo says, and uses his powers to levitate all the Pokemon.
Then says, "Friends, to the island!"
All the Pokemon agree and rache towards the island.
Giovanni then presses a button to reactivate the robots knocked off-line by Mewtwo.
Then he radios the Black Tulip, "009."
"This is 009," Black Tulip says.
"Mewtwo is headed your way," Giovanni informs.
"Roger," Black Tulip says, "We're…"
But before she can finish, a large gust of wind blows in as the clones quickly arrive on the scene. As it turns out, Black Tulip has the young Nidoqueen in her arms while a Grunt has Mew hostage.
"I've been expecting you," Black Tulip says, and pets the little Pokemon on its head, "This little Nidoqueen sure is a cutie, and this girl is one tough cookie."
Mewtwo demands, "Release that girl and young one!"
Soon, Giovanni's helicopter shows up.
"Maybe that's something you should take up with my boss. Here he is now," Black Tulip says.
Then Giovanni and his Persian emerges from the helicopter.
"Nice to see you!" Giovanni says, "So I take it your willing to obey my commands?"
No!" Mewtwo refuses, "I would sooner leave this world than serve you!"
But then Giovanni says, "I suggest you reconsider your opinion. If you choose to defy me, your fellow creations will all be used in our experiments and will certainly leave this world!"
And the attack bots show up and eye the whole lot of Pokemon.
Mewtwo says to the Pokemon, "Stand away! I must submit to him."
The robots set their programmed task.
Then Giovanni says, "This is not meant to destroy you, it has been developed to simply harness your abilities, and mold your will to my purposes."
"Your purposes?" Mewtwo questions.
"Don't waste your time destroying them, we're quite capable of building new ones. But, if you try to fight us, your little friends will be the ones to pay the price," Black Tulip says.
And then she points her flower and it fires a blast of energy at the Pikachu, knocking Pikachu-Two away.
Pikachu cries out, "Pikachu!" (Pika-two!) as he and the two Eevees rush to him.
Black Tulip then begins to send another blast. Mew gasps in shock and steps on the Grunt's foot, forcing him to let go. Black Tulip fires another blast, but Mew pushes all four Pokemon out of the way, and the blast hits her.
"No!" Mewtwo cries out.
And the blast causes her to hit her back against the rock. Mew struggles to get up, but is badly hurt, and barely able to stand. The two Pikachu and Eevee rush to Mew to see how hurt she is. Mew is barely able to sit up.
She turns to Mewtwo and smiles, "Don't worry… Mewtwo. I'm okay." and then the little girl appears over Mew's image again.
Mewtwo then says, "I will do as you say."
Giovanni smirks and says, "All you have to do now is step into the light!"
The light appears and Mewtwo begins to step towards it.
The two Pikachu and Eevee cry out, (Mewtwo! Please don't!)
All the Pokemon call and beg Mewtwo to stop.
Even, Meowth says, "They're telling it to stop, but it's going anyway. This could be a big mistake."
"Please Mewtwo… don't do this…" Mew says, struggle as still tries to stand.
Mew soon looks at Mewtwo as the girl's image appears again and says, "Mewtwo."
However, Mewtwo closes his eyes and says, "Mew, Amber, I'm sorry, but I must."
And with that, Mewtwo finally steps into the orb generated by the robots.
Giovanni chuckles, "That's a good boy. Now you won't be able to run away from me again."
"You may control my body, but you will never control my will," Mewtwo says.
"We'll soon see," Giovanni says.
Soon, the orb causes him to scream in pain as his energy is harnessed.
"Mewtwo!" Mew cries out.
"I will not, submit!" Mewtwo says, still struggling to remain in control of himself.
"You are strong, Mewtwo, but pain makes the body master of the will. Let's see how long they struggle," Giovanni says.
Mewtwo continues to struggle against the process.
Giovanni soon looks around at the area, "This is a very charming place. I had a feeling you'd find a pretty little hideaway like this. It's perfect for my new laboratory! Finally, I will create a vast army of the world's most powerful Pokemon. And you. You will be at its head, carrying out my commands. Together, we will rule the Earth!"
Soon, Mewtwo finally submits to the control.
Meanwhile, the Team Rocket grunts are leading Mew's captured friends and clones away, when they soon spot the rest of the clones, including the Pikachus Meowths and Eevees. And see Mew being held by another Team Rocket Grunt.
"Mew!" Misty cries out.
"What happened?" Tomo asks.
"What did they do to you?!" Molly cries out.
Mew slowly opens her eyes, "Mewtwo… where's Mewtwo…"
Young Mewtwo, who has regained consciousness walks to her and takes her in his arms. Despite him still being badly hurt.
"Mew, are you okay?" Young Mewtwo asks.
"Yeah…" Mew softly says.
Cullen turns to Lunam, "Luna, get the spring water that's in the vile in my pocket, it may revive her."
"Right!" Luna says.
Luna manages to get it and approaches Mew, "This might be just what she needs."
Mew drinks the water and instantly brings it back to full strength.
"It worked!" Jen says, relieved.
"I'm feeling great now," Mew says.
"That water is just incredible!" Gullen says.
"I knew it was healthy, but its healing powers are absolutely amazing!" Luna replies.
Just then, Black Tulip says, "Stop muttering and start walking! You can't stay here, we have a place all prepared!"
"And where's that?" Cullen questions.
They all soon find out, and are locked up inside the same cell as Team Rocket was once in. All except Mew, whose Black Tulip is making sure she's on a tight leash.
"You better let us out of here right now!" Tomo demands.
Black Tulip giggles and says, "You may not get out at all."
"What do you want with Mew?!" Misty demands.
"To put it simply, we have to make sure that other Mewtwo doesn't try anything funny. If it knows what is good for its beloved trainer," Black Tulip says.
Young Mewtwo glares at Black Tulip and says, "My older brother is right, you people are despicable."
"Well as of right now, your older brother will be submitted to Team Rocket, and you will as well," Black Tulip says.
Meanwhile, outside, Team Rocket helicopters carrying metal pipes arrive as construction crews get to work building Giovanni's new base and lab.
Black Tulip raidoes in, "Everything is going according to plan. Construction of our base is proceeding. What's that status of Mewtwo?"
"It's stronger than I realized! Its brainwaves haven't altered in the least! If this goes on much longer, its body will be destroyed before its will is!" Giovanni says.
"You can't destroy it! It could take years to clone it again!" Black Tulip says, "Even though he has another one.
"know that! But this has become a battle between Mewtwo's will and mine!" Giovanni says, and crushes the radio in his hand in frustration.
"Well, don't take it out on me!" Black Tulip angrily says.
And turns to the cleaners, "Can't you two work faster?!"
Then reveals Jessie and James working as janitors of the base.
"Use some elbow grease! I want to be able to see my face in that floor! Now hurry up!" Black Tulip says.
As she mops, Jessie angrily says, "We'll show her."
Meanwhile, the waste from the facility is seen pouring into the water, polluting the entire lake. Suddenly, swarms of Ledian and Beedrill and flocks of Butterfree come flying towards the island.
Back in the cell, all the clones continue to call out.
"What are they saying?" Jen asks.
"They say 'They're coming, and they're very angry.'" Meowth says.
"Who's coming? Molly asks.
"The bug Pokemon," Young Mewtwo says, "They're mad at the people that are polluting the lake, and they're coming to stop them."
Meanwhile, Persian senses the coming of the bugs.
Be quiet. Giovanni demands.
Persian does so as the bug Pokémon cavalry arrives.
"What's happening?!" Giovanni asks in shock.
Soon, the Butterfree uses Stun Spore, and paralyzes the Grunts, while one of them drops their welding torch, which causes an explosion when it lands, along with multiple other explosions around the island.
What's going on?!" Tomo asks.
An explosion soon destroys the cell door.
"Hey, look!" Brock notices.
"A way out!" Tomo says.
"Now's our chance!" Misty says.
Brock calls out, "Come on, everybody! Hurry!"
Everyone hurries out.
Everyone quickly evacuates.
Cullen rushes to Luna, "Luna, I'm going back that way."
"What for?" Luna questions.
"I'm worried about the spring," Gullen says
"I'll go along with you," Luna says.
They both nod and head toward the spring.
Meanwhile, Black Tulip and Mew find themselves swarmed by Ledian. Black Tulip tries to use her flowers and attack then, but they're torn apart by some Scyther. And then, a Pink Butterfree charges with a Tackle Attack at Black Tulip, but she dodges as Mew quickly gets out of the way.
"Wait, that Butterfree…!" Mew says.
Suddenly, an Air Slash flies past Mew and cuts the restraints of her. And soon, a Buttefree wearing a yellow scarf flies to Mew. Seeing the yellow scarf, Mew recognizes this Butterfree.
"Butterfree!" Mew happily says.
"Free Free!" (Mew, I'm happy to see you!) Butterfree says.
"Me too," Mew says.
Then the Pink Butterfree flies to Mew, "Free Free Free?" (Are you okay?)
"I'm fine, but we gotta get going. A friend of mine is in danger," Mew says.
Butterfree and Pink Butterfree nod and hurry with Mew while the Bug Pokemon deal with Black Tulip. One of the Scythers tries to attack, but Black Tulip manages to block the attack using a bo staff made to look like a tulip with a long stem and tries to make her escape.
"They'll never stop the Black Tulip because I can think on my feet!" Black Tulip says, and pole vaults over the Ledian Swarm.
But she ends up slipping and sliding along the floor due to Jessie and James cleaning it.
"I guess that floor we mopped is still a little slippery. Perfect for a character like her," Jessie says.
Black Tulip soon winds up with her head in a bucket of water and on the ground.
"What happened, Domino?" Jessie questions, "You looked fine when you first came in, but now your face seems…"
"A little pale!" James says.
Meanwhile, Luna and Cullen have reached the spring and are in relief by what they find)
"The water hasn't been contaminated!" Cullen says and hands Luna the sample.
"Thank goodness," Luna says.
Meanwhile, Mewtwo is still seen getting weaker. Soon, Misty and the others arrive.
Pikachu-Two calls out, "Pikachu! Pika Pika!" (Hey, Mewtwo! We all escaped!)
"Eevee Eevee!" (We're here to help you!) Eevee calls out.
"Mewtwo!" Mew's voice calls out.
Misty and the others rush to see Mew with the two Butterfrees.
Mewtwo slowly turns to them, "I am glad, you are safe. But I cannot bear this much longer!"
"Hang in there, Mewtwo! We'll help you! What do we need to do?!" Mew calls out.
"Stop these machines!" Mewtwo says.
"Brock, maybe there's a cut off switch," Misty says.
But Brock looks at the machine, "It's no use! They're all sealed up!"
"Well, we'll have to tackle em!" Mew says, and manages to hit it, nothing happens.
Brock hits the machine, "Hit it harder!"
They both start to pound away on the red machine, then the Pokemon come to help. But even all together, nothing works.
"We can't stop it!" Brock says.
Young Mewtwo also tries to use a Shadow Ball, same with the two Butterfrees. So far, nothing happens.
"Nothing's stopping it!" Tomo says.
Then Mewtwo says, "Then I must use what remains of my power. Either these machines will be destroyed, or I will be!"
Mewtwo starts using the remains of his power to try to overload and destroy the machines.
"Hang in there, Mewtwo!" Mew calls out.
"You can do it!" Molly calls out.
The Pokemon call out, (Come on, Mewtwo!)
Mew turns to the Pokemon, ""Guys, help out with your Thunderbolt!"
All the Pokemon agree and do so. With enough force, the machine is completely destroyed, freeing Mewtwo while the other self-destructs.
"Mewtwo!" Everyone calls out.
"You did it! You beat em!" Mew says, relieved.
"Yes. But I have also destroyed, myself," Mewtwo says, feeling very weakened.
The two Pikachu cry out, "Pikachu! Pika Pika!" (Don't say that! Come to the spring!)
"The spring! They're saying 'Come to the spring' Mewtwo!" Meowth says.
"The water there did help revive Mew, maybe it'll help Mewtwo!" Brock says
"Then let's hurry," Mew says.
Suddenly, Giovanni's voice calls out, " You're not going anywhere."
Everyone looks back and sees Giovanni flanked by his Persian, Black Tulip and a small army of Team Rocket thugs.
"Mewtwo belongs to me, and I alone will decide whether it will survive or not," Giovanni says.
Mew holds on to Mewtwo, "No! Mewtwo doesn't belong to anyone!"
"Not if we have anything to say about that!" Misty says.
"We won't let you!" Brock says.
"If you creeps want Mewtwo!" Tomo says.
"You'll have to get through us!" Jen says.
"Go!" Molly calls out.
And with that, Brock, Misty, Tomo, Jen, and Molly call out some of their Pokemon.
Young Mewtwo steps forward, "You'll have to get through all of us."
Meanwhile, Meowth soon spots Jessie and James peeking out to see what's going on before ducking back.
"It's the boss! What'll we do?" Jessie asks, worried.
"If he sees us, he may do something drastic, like ask for our expense reports!" James says.
Soon, Meowth rushes over, "Hey, guys! It's great to see ya!"
"You?" Jessie and James question.
"Come on, let's find a place to hide," Jessie says.
"Right!" James says.
Then the three rush off.
Brock turns to Mew, "You take Mewtwo."
"Well handle Team Rocket," Jen says.
"Okay," Mew.
Mew tries to get Mewtwo out of the area, but Giovanni spots them, "No!"
Suddenly, Gyarados-two and Dewgong-two burst onto the scene behind Team Rocket.
"What?!" Giovanni exclaims.
They soon see the bug Pokemon swarms and flocks and all the clone Pokemon behind Team Rocket, ready to do battle.
"So, you wish to defy me as your leader has? Very well, then. I'll crush you, too!" Giovanni says.
Meanwhile, Mew helps Mewtwo up the steps to the spring with the help of Lucario, Chikoirta, and Bulbasaur.
"Thanks, guys. Keep going!" Mew says.
"We're almost there," Lucario says.
"Why? Why are you helping me?" Mewtwo questions.
"Well, for one thing, you helped me and my friends. That's a good reason," Mew says.
"The only one?" Mewtwo asks, confused.
Mew giggles, "Do you always need a reason to help somebody?"
"Perhaps, you are unique. A unique human. One of a kind," Mewtwo says.
"You're one of a kind, too. Everybody is," Mew says.
But Mewtwo says, "I don't know what I am. And soon, it may not matter."
"I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen," Mew says.
Soon, Luna and Cullen spot Mew with Mewtwo.
"Mew!" Luna calls out.
"Is that another Mewtwo?" Cullen questions.
"Yes. He's an old friend. It's real weak and it needs to get into that spring water fast or it's not gonna make it," Mew says.
However, Cullen says, "Ash, wait. You can't get that Pokemon near the water, it might contaminate the whole spring. This water has minerals humans need."
But Mew says, "I'm sorry, but the one who needs that water most is Mewtwo, and I'm not going to let him die!"
And with that, Mewtwo throws Mewtwo into the lake with help from Lucario, bulbasaur, and Chikorita.
As he sinks deep in the lake, Mewtwo says to himself, "I have, seen this place. I've, been here before."
And soon, Mewtwo is starting to remember something, "Was it, in my dreams? But this is no dream. I feel new life, rising within me."
Soon, Mewtwo spots the Pokemon, Mew, Mew."
And the memory stops, "If these waters have the same restoring effect on me as they do on other Pokemon, Pokemon who belong to this world... Could it be... That this world, is my rightful place, too?"
And suddenly, more memories flow into his mind, especially the young girl he has seen in Mew.
And soon says, "Amber."
Meanwhile, on the surface, Giovanni arrives and attacks.
"They're here!" Mew says.
"Tell me where Mewtwo is," Giovanni demands.
And Giovanni continues attacking.
Mew calls out, "Lucario, Aura Sphere!"
Lucario counters the attack, and causes Givoanni's attack to be canceled.
Cullen calls out, "Stop it! You can't come here and destroy the spring!"
"Yes, I can! And this place belongs to me!" Giovanni says.
Just then, Mewtwo bursts forth, fully restored.
And Mewtwo confronts Giovanni, "You will not defile this place! It does not belong to you, anymore than I do!"
And soon, Mewtwo proceeds to unleash his power, prompting the Team Rocket trio to come out of hiding.
"What's happening?" Mewoth asks, shocked.
Soon, Mewtwo says, ""This place has given me new life!" The immense energy from Mewtwo's power rates a massive beam of light and stretches out to the lake, "Now I shall use all my power, to defend it."
The whole lake is soon engulfed in a beam of light before it fades away.
Later that night, the spring and lake are soon seen to have dried up and all of Team Rocket is baffled as to what happened.
Giovanni looks around and demands, "What's happened here?! What's going on?! Why is everyone standing around?! Where is Mewtwo?!"
Cullen and Luna regain themselves to see what has happened.
"The spring is gone," Cullen says.
Then Luna gets out the sample, "What about the sample?"
"We may be in luck. We may be able to create a synthetic version in the lab," Cullen says.
"Yes," Luna says with a nod.
But look around to ask, "But I wonder what happened to Mew and the others, and all the Pokemon."
Meanwhile, it's revealed that Mewtwo teleported himself, the entire spring, the clones, including Mew, her friends, the Pokemon, and even the Team Rocket trio underneath the mountain.
Wow. This is so cool," Molly says.
"Yeah. Mewtwo was able to move the entire late and the spring under Mt. Quena," Tomo says.
"I have to admit, this is very impressive," Brock says.
"But where's Mew, Pikachu and Eevee, and the two Mewtwos?" Misty asks.
Meanwhile, Mew along with her Pikachu and Eevee, and the two Mewtwos are in a separate cave.
Mew looks around and asks, "Where are we?"
"I wish to speak to you, alone. Separated from the others," Mewtwo says.
"How come?" Mew asks.
"Something happened when I was in the lake. I remember something important," Mewtwo says.
"Important?" Mew asks.
"Yes. Since we first met, I felt that I've seen your face before. And since then, I've sent up memories I don't even understand. But when our paths crossed again, and when I was in the lake, I felt the water healing me, like it did to any other Pokemon. What's more, I remember something from my past," Mewtwo says.
Then explains, "Long ago, there was a clone who called Amber-Two. Amber-Two was the clone of the daughter of Dr. Fuji, the man responsible for mine and my younger brother's creation. Sadly, she did not survive the experiment, I was so devastated to have lost her. The scientists probably erased my memories so Amber was forgotten in my mind" Then turns to Mew, "When I saw you, it helped me to remember the human friend I once knew. Of course, you are your own person, not a clone, and yet, like Amber, you open my eyes to the world around me. I wish to thank you for reminding me of that. Even though Amber is gone, I still live on and am now able to live my life as I wish."
"You're welcome," Mew says. "And I'm really glad that you decided to change, and that you feel like you belong in this world.
She then asks, "But, what will you do now?"
"I do have one idea in mind," Mewtwo says.
Moments later, Mewtwo teleports everyone to where Mew's friends and the rest of the Pokemon are.
"There's Mew," Misty says.
"Hey Mew, what happened?" Brock asks.
"Well, some stuff happened, but Mewtwo wants us to come here for some reason," Mew says.
"Yes. I want you all to witness it," Mewtwo says.
"Witness what?" Meowth asks.
Just then, Mewtwo makes a Pokeball appear in Mew's hand. This Pokeball has purple on the top with magenta circles. One on each side, and it has a white 'M' on it.
"What's this?" Mew asks.
"A Master Ball. Team Rocket had this created in order to capture the Pokemon, Mew. I had it taken when I destroyed Team Rocket's lab. However, I feel that you will be able to put it to good use," Mewtwo says.
"What?" Mew asks.
"Mew, I ask that you use this Pokeball to catch me," Mewtwo says.
This actually comes as a shock to Mew and her friends. However, the Clone Pokemon aren't surprised at all.
"Are… are you sure? I mean, I know that you wanted to be free," Mew asks.
"Yes," Mewtwo nods, "You were the one who opened my eyes and my heart, and helped me and the others understand that we all belong to this world, whether we are born or cloned. I wish to be caught by you, this is my wish."
Mew looks at Mewtwo's eyes and can tell that this is what he really wants.
Mew nods her head and says, "Okay then." Mew then taps Mewtwo with the Master ball and he is pulled in. With a few shakes and a kick, Mewtwo has been caught.
Then Mewtwo is let out of the Pokeball. Mewtwo feels a little dizzy about it.
"Are you okay?" Mew asks.
"I'm okay. However, being in a Pokeball isn't very comfortable," Mewtwo says.
Mew giggles, "I guess so. Many of them got used to it. Of course, Pikachu and Eevee hate being in theirs."
Pikachu and Eevee nod their heads in reply. They agree that they hate being in their Pokeballs and how uncomfortable they felt. Just then, Mewtwo uses his psychic energy on the Pokeball that emits a blue aura, but soon disappears.
Mewtwo then says, "This Pokeball will be used to help contact me. Whenever you need my assistance. Place your hand on the Master Ball and it will allow me to reach you through telepathy."
"I understand," Mew says.
Then Mewtwo turns to the Clones, "After everything that has happened, I've decided that we all indeed belong in this world. And we all are free to live out of Mt. Quena if you wish. Of course, If we are able to look to the future as other Pokemon do, we must also be able to look to the past. The shame of that past is not ours, it belongs to those who tried to use our past to set us apart. To ensure the safety of all our fellow Pokemon, and of this healing place, I will clear only the memories of those who seek to destroy them.
Meanwhile outside of Mt. Quena, the flock of Butterfree, including Mew's Butterfree friend and Pink Butterfree fly along spreading powder that causes all of Team Rocket in the place where the spring and lake once were to forget all that happened.
"Only they shall forget," Mewtwo says.
Later, Giovanni and his army are at their airbase, confused as to what happened and how they got there.
Giovanni turns to Black Tulip, "009, why are we here? What's the combat unit doing?"
"Maybe we're on some kind of secret mission," Black Tulip suggests.
Giovanni questions, "Secret mission? What kind of secret mission?!"
"I don't know anymore than you do, but if we don't get out of here now, it won't be secret," Black Tulip says.
Giovanni nods in agreement, "We should withdrawal our forces at once. It's strange, but I have the feeling I have been utterly defeated."
Giovanni's Persian just licks its fur.
Meanwhile, at Mt. Quena, Mewtwo and the other clones prepare to leave and bid our heroes farewell.
"The time has come for us to depart," Mewtwo says.
Soon, some of the clones choose to leave Mt. Quena and able to head out to the world, some choose to remain in Mt. Quena. At the same time, Team Rocket, Mew and her friends are ready to depart. Team Rocket takes the Team Rocket Balloon while Mew and the others take the Pikachu Balloon.
"If you ever see our balloon, fly by and say hello!" Meowth says.
(Sure will!) Meowth-Two says.
"Thank you. I will remember you, always," Mewtwo says.
"We will remember you too," Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee happily agree. Soon, Pikachu-Two and Eevee-Two appear from the basket.
"Indeed, and I am glad that some of us Clones have put their faith in you. I wish them luck under your care," Mewtwo says.
"We promise," Mew says.
Then Mewtwo says, "If someday you hear my voice, know that it is my spirit, calling across time and space, to yours."
And with that, everyone departs and goes their separate ways. Soon, Mewtwo disappears into the night.
The next day, the bus comes by and stops where Cullen and Luna are waiting.
The bus driver says to Cullen, "Luna called and said you might need a ride back to the city, so I... Hey. Don't you even have a knapsack?"
"I won't be going back. Luna and I discovered we have a lot in common besides research," Cullen says.
The driver is baffled while the two look to each other and smile.
Elsewhere, in a far off city, Mew and her friends continue their travels to the next city.
Just then, Mew hears Mewtwo's voice, "I will remember you, always."
Mew stops and looks up into the sky.
"What's wrong, Mew?" Misty asks.
"I thought I heard Mewtwo's voice," Mew says.
She then holds the Master Ball in his hand, "I'm still surprised that Mewtwo allowed me to catch him. After everything he's gone through."
"I know it's a surprise, but Mewtwo must really trust you. After all, Pikachu-Two and Eevee-Two trust you too," Misty says.
"I guess you're right," Mew says, and looks at the sky, "Mewtwo, I hope we'll meet again, someday.
Mew and her friends continue on their journey to the next part of their adventure, along with some Clone Pokemon friends by their side, and a special ally by their side.
In a far away city, stories are told about a mysterious Pokemon, who roams freely, but only by moonlight. That mysterious Pokemon is Mewtwo.
