Episode 73: All That Glitters!
Mew and her friends are still on the road to the Johto League. Their next destination is Olivine city, where Mew hopes to earn her next badge. Right now, Brock, Misty, and Tomo are preparing lunch while Mew is polishing her badges while Jen, Molly, and the Pokemon watch.
"Pika…" (Shiny.) Pikachu says
Mew looks at the badges on the stump, "One Zephyr Badge...one Hive Badge...one Plain Badge...and one brand-new Fog Badge." and looks at the Fog Badge, "4 down and 4 to go!"
She then finishes, "There, they're all clean."
"You've been polishing them for sometime, Mew," Misty says.
Then Brock says, "Better be careful. Mew. If you keep this up, you'll shine a hole through it. Maybe you should give them to me and Misty, we'll hold them."
"Don't worry, Pikachu, Eevee, and the others are keeping an eye on them."
"Pika Pika!" (Absolutely!) Pikachu says.
"Eevee Eevee," (They're perfectly safe.) Eevee says.
But unknown to then, there are four pairs of yellow eyes watching from the bushes.
"Well, this is the moment you've been waiting for! Brock's Incredible-edible Mystery Stew is finally ready!" Brock says.
"Alright!" Tomo cheers.
"Yay!" Molly and Jen happily cheer.
"Come on, Mew! Let's see if we can guess what's in it this time!" Misty says.
"Sure. I just need to put my badges away for safekeeping," Mew says.
Suddenly, the Pokemon senses something.
"What's that matter, guys? You hear something?:Mew asks, and turns to their direction.
Soon, they see unknown objects poking out of the bushes.
"What do you think those things are?" Jen asks
"Beats me," Misty says.
"They sorta look like three feather dusters," Brock says.
Soon, Molly and Togepi go in for a closer look.
Sparkle calls out, "Pi-Pi-Pi!" (Togepi!) and rushes after them.
Molly, Togpei, be careful, they might be dangerous!"
Togepi pulls on one of the 'feather dusters' and finds out that all three of them are attached to something alive as they're pulled back into the bush before it's revealed that they were actually the tails of three Pokemon.
All three are avian Pokémon with black feathers. They're crooked, yellow beak and the three, feathery tufts on its head resemble a witch's nose and hat respectively. The feathery crest is smaller on the female than on the male. It has semi-circular, red eyes with white sclera and pupils and a spiky collar of feathers around its neck. The shaggy feathers on its tail resemble the end of a broom, and there is a thin, red band at the base of the tail. Its yellow feet have four toes, three facing forward and one backward.
"Togepi?" (Murkrow?) Togepi replies confused.
Sparkle feels the same, "Pika?" (Murkrow?)
"Murkrow?" Molly says, confused.
"Hey, Murkrow!" Mew says as she takes out her Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Murkrow, the Darkness Pokemon. A Dark and Flying Type. Murkrow confuse would-be attackers by luring them into dark mountain trails where they are sure to get lost."
Then the three Murkrow start to perform for the group.
"They seem like pretty nice Pokemon, to me," Misty says.
"Yeah, it doesn't seem like they'd be the types that'd get you lost on some mountain," Mew says.
"And they really know how to put on a show, too," Brock says.
The Murkrow continue to perform and soon see Mew's badges. And with that, another Pokemon rises from the bushes.
It's a dark-blue avian Pokémon with plumage resembling a person dressed in formal attire, one that most resembles a mob boss. It has a large feather crest resembling a fedora hat that has spikes extending from the back. It has circular red eyes with white sclera and dark blue eyelids. Its yellow beak is slightly curved, and its head is supported by a broad, short neck. It has a white and prominent crest of feathers on its chest that bears resemblance to a beard or cravat. Its wings have red feathers on the inside. It has black feet with four toes. The tail's base is a white, cylindrical stalk, on which there is a growth of red feathers on the end.
Then it commands, "Honchkrow!"
And with that, the Large Crow Pokemon, and three Murkrow swoops in and steals all of Mew's badges.
"Oh no!" Brock and Tomo cry.
"They took your badges!"
Soon, the four Crow Pokemon land on the tree branch.
Mew rushes over, "Hey, you can't take them! They belong to me!"
"Bring em back right now!" Brock says.
"Pika Pika!" (Right this minute!) Pikachu says.
"Eevee Eevee!" (Or Else!) Eevee calls out.
But the four Pokemon refuse.
"I changed my mind about Murkrow, they're not so nice," Misty says.
"But what's that other Pokemon?" Jen asks.
"Let's see," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Honchkrow, the Big Boss Pokemon, and the evolved form of Murkrow. A Dark and Flying Type. Becoming active at night, it is known to swarm with numerous Murkrow in tow. Its goons take care of most of the fighting for it. The only time it dirties its own hands is in delivering a final blow to finish off an opponent."
"So that Pokemon is their leader?" Jen asks.
"Seems so, but they're not going to get away with this," Mew says, and brings out her Pokeball.
She then throws it, "Noctowl, I choose you!"
And Noctowl comes out.
"Noctowl, Tackle attack that tree!" Mew calls out.
Noctowl does so and the three Murkrow fall off of the tree.
"Great job!" Mew says.
Mew approaches the Murkrow, but then they start using an attack Mew. Luckily, Mew moves out of the way,
"What is that?" Misty asks.
"The Murkrow are using their Mud Slap attack!" Brock says.
Then the Murkrow and Honchkrow make their escape.
Mew calls out to Noctowl, "Noctowl, you've gotta follow them!"
Noctowl does just that. Noctowl take to the sky and approach, but the three Murkrow prove to be fast as they dart around the pursuer
"Now what are they doing?!" Mew asks.
"The Murkrow seem to be using Double Team! But I've never seen Pokemon do a Double Team that fast before!" Brock says.
Suddenly, the Honchkrow is able to sneak behind Noctowl and knock it out of the sky.
"Noctowl, return!" Mew says, and calls it back into the Pokeball.
"This isn't over!" Mew says.
Then the Honchkrow and three Murkrow fly away.
"Those Murkrow are obnoxious! They put on that song and dance just to trick us!" Misty says.
"And Honchkrow is their boss and took orders from it," Tomo says.
"Yeah, they must've planned on stealing Mew's badges all along!" Brock says.
Mew angrily says, "I don't care if they're nice or not, nobody gets away with stealing badges from me!"
"Pikachu!/ Eevee!" (All of us!) Pikachu and Eevee say.
Meanwhile, the Murkrow and Honchkrow land and examine their stolen loot.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others are on the search for the thieves.
"Those Murkrow and that Honchkrow have to be around here somewhere," ew says.
"I'm pretty sure I saw them fly off in this direction," Misty says.
"I agree," Jen says.
"Well, it's time to put Golbat on the case," Brock says, and throws his Pokeball, Go, Golbat! "
And Golbat comes out of the Pokeball.
"Okay, Golbat, find that Honchkrow and those Murkrow!" Brock says.
Soon, Golbat lets out blasts of Supersonic sonar.
"Great idea, Brock, Golbat's Supersonic should track 'em down in no time," Brock says.
": You go get 'em, Golbat!" Mew calls out.
The Pokemon cheer.
Soon, Goldbat finds something.
"We're in luck, guys! Golbat must've found them already!" Brock says
"Let's find out!" Mew says.
Mew and the others follow Golbat to their location. Soon, they find the Pokemon as the three Murkrow enjoy their booty. Soon, Mew and the others show up.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Mew asks
"I get it! The Murkrow and Honchkrow brought your badges here so they could play with them in the sun!" Brock says.
"They must like them because they're so shiny," Misty says.
Mew approaches them and says, "Okay, guys, I let you play with them for a while, but can I have them back now, please?"
The Murkrow and Honchkrow turn to each other and nod and approach Mew, like they're going to do as he asked.
"Thanks, Murkrow. Honchkrow. I guess you can see how important those badges are to me," Mew says.
The four Pokemon agree.
But Brock says, "Careful, this could be another trick!"
"Don't trust em, Mew! They might be planning something!" Misty says.
"I'll be alright," Mew says, "Besides, maybe they are planning on giving me my badges after all.
However, the Honchkrow suddenly goes on and grabs Mew from behind and lifts her up.
Pikachu and Eevee cry out, "Pika Pi!/Eevee!" (Mew!"
"Hey! Put me down!" Mew cries out.
Misty panics, "You see?!"
"Fooled again!" Brock says.
"I guess we can't trust those Murkrow no matter what," Jen says.
"Who cares! They're flying away with me!" Tomo says.
And with that, the Murkrow and Honchkrow fly away with Mew.
Mew cries out, "Help!"
Brock calls out, ": Follow em, Golbat! Don't let them get away!"
Golbat flies after the thieves, but then the Murkrows change direction and knock Golbat out of the sky.
Brock calls it back to its Pokeball, "Return!"
Misty then calls out, "Pikachu! Sparkle! Hurry! Use Thunderbolt to stop them!"
Pikachu and Sparkle use Thunderbolt on the thieves and send them falling down to earth. Mew soon grabs on to the tree and uses it to help herself back on the ground.
Pikachu rushes over, "Pika pi!" (Mew!) but is suddenly snatched by a metal claw.
"Pikachu!" Mew cries out.
And then another metal claw does the same to Eevee.
"Eevee!" Mew cries out.
"Today's just not your day, Mew," Molly replies.
And soon, they hear the Team Rocket motto.
Jessie:
But today is our day, so prepare for trouble!
James:
In honor of that, you can make it double!
The Meowth balloon rises up over the bushes as Team Rocket continues the motto.
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight.
Meowth:
Hey, I got a bite!
And then Meowth reels in Pikachu and Eevee.
Team Rocket cheers, "Hooray! Hooray! Pikachu and Eevee are the catch of the day!"
"Give me Pikachu and Eevee!" Mew calls out angrily.
Jessie sardonically says, "I'm sorry, that selection is unavailable.
James holds up his hand,"Pikachu and Eevee are the Poké de Jour, and it's trés populaire!"
"Oui oui!" Jessie replies.
"WOBBUFFET!" (Mes amis!) Wobbuffet says.
Jessie recalls Wobbuffet, annoyed, "Hey, I don't remember seeing you on the list of daily specials."
"Hate to steal and run, but we got other French to fry!" Meowth says.
"Get back here!" Meowth shouts.
Team Rocket laughs as Mew pursues.
Meowth says, "We cooked up a great plan and she's got egg on his face!"
Soon, they hear something and turn to see the Honchkrow and three Murkrow.
"Hey, look!" Meowth says
"Three Murkrow!" James replies.
"And a Honchkrow," Meowth adds.
Annoyed, Jessie asks, "Well, what do you want?"
Honchkrow commands the attack and the three Murkrow attack Team Rocket to take their shiny items.
Jessie shouts, "My earrings are irreplaceable!"
"My charm's in my charm!" Meowth cries out.
James panics, "My belt buckle - completes my outfit!"
One of the Murkrow tears a hole in the balloon, causing it to rapidly lose altitude until it lands with a thud and Pikachu and Eevee's cage goes flying.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew calls out.
Pikachu cries out, "Pika Pi!" Ash!)
Mew rushes to her friends in the cage, "Don't worry, I'm gonna getcha out of this thing."
Soon enough, Team Rocket emerges from the wreckage unscathed.
I've always hated Murkrow! They have no respect for other thieves!"Jessie angrily says.
Then Meowth says, "That Honchkrow is no better! At least, they didn't get nuttin from me!"
James soon begins to panic.
Meowth turns to James, "What's the matter, Jim? Did they swipe your belt buckle?"
"Look! Look right over there!" James points out.
They look to see some of James' bottle caps along with Mew's badges being looked at by the four Pokemon.
James checks his pockets in distress, "My collection! My bottle cap collection!"
And notices the Honchkrow and its troops bicking them up.
This makes James even more upset, "Those Murkrow! That Honchkrow! Don't put my caps in your dirty beaks! Those caps are all in mint condition! I've drunk enough soda pop to float an aircraft carrier to get that bottle cap collection! Right now, ready or not, those caps belong to me!"
James makes a dash for it, but trips on a root and slides to a stop right in front of the four Pokemon are, to their laughter.
Soon, Mew frees her friends.
"Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, you're free!" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee quickly rush in. The Murkrow and Honchkrow spot them and fly away. Pikachu and Eevee soon chase after them. Soon, Mew and the others rush over.
"Look, your Zephyr Badge is here!" Tomo says.
Then Jen notices, "And your Hive Badge!"
"And the Plain Badge!" Molly adds.
Mew picks them up, "Yeah, but they still have my Fog Badge!"
Mew rushes after the Pokemon, "Come back here!"
Still on the ground, James muffles, "You won't get away with this! I'll get my bottle caps from you Honchkrow and your crew if it's the last thing I do!"
Then James rushes off after them, leaving Jessie and Meowth behind.
Jessie calls out, "Forget about getting those bottle caps!"
"Yeah! Let's get Pikachu and Eevee!" Meowth calls out.
Soon, the Honchkrow and three Murkrow land on the ledge with Mew and the others far below.
Mew calls out, "Give it back! Give back that Fog Badge!
Suddenly, they hear James's voice, "Stand aside!"
Everyone parts for James, who holds a bazooka.
"You good for nothing, bottle cap snatching pile of feathers! You're going to pay!" James says.
Soon, Jessie and Meowth are close behind.
"He's lost what little mind he has," Jessie says, exhausted.
James aims the Bazooka at the Pokemon, "Okay, locked on target! And fire!"
The bazooka fires a net missile, which seemingly manages to capture the Pokemon
"You can't steal from me! "James says.
Then turns to his comrades, "Help me bring in these cap-nappers!"
Alright," Jessie and Meowth says, tired and grab the rope.
"James soon pulls the rope as he shouts, "Heave ho!
The three pull on the rope, only to reveal that the net caught a boulder.
"What's that?!" Jessie pancics.
"It ain't Murkrow or Honchkrow!" Meowth says.
The boulder hits a ledge and flings itself far into the forest with Team Rocket holding on to the rope.
"That didn't work very well," Misty says.
"Not at all," Jen replies.
"It doesn't take much to outsmart Team Rocket, but it's gonna take some thinking to outsmart them!" Brock says.
"Meloetta," (I'm afraid you're right.) Meoetta replies.
The Honchkrow and Three Murkrow come out and laugh at their triumph.
In their nest, Honchkrow and the three Murkrow admire all the shiny things they collected over time and make some of them sparkle in the sun. On the ground, the group of friends notice the sparkles.
Misty says, "Looks like you and James aren't the only ones those Murkrow have stolen shiny stuff from."
"Yeah, they got tons," Mew says.
"Getting your Fog Badge back isn't going to be easy," Brock says, "Those Murkrow are pretty smart and they really know how to work as a team."
"Especially with that Honchkrow as their leader," Tomo says.
And Mew says, "I know about teamwork, too. If it wasn't for me and my Pokemon working as a team, we never would've won all those badges." and looks at the three badges she has gotten back.
Mew then says, "I wouldn't have won anything without Charizard, during our battle against Falkner's Pidgeot, and when I battled Bugsy's Scyther with Cyndaquil! Pikachu and Eevee been through it all with me, right from the start! And Noctowl and I went head to head with Gengar and Morty for that Fog Badge! Every badge I won belongs to all of us! And that's why, when anybody steals a badge from me, they're stealing it from all of us!"
Pikachu and Eevee agree.
Mew then throws her Pokeball, "Let's get it back, Bulbasaur!" and Bulbasaur is out of the Pokeball.
Mew then says, "Okay, Bulbasaur, use your Vine Whip!"
Bulbasaur does so and latches to a log at the top of the ledge.
"Let's get that badge!" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee agree. Mew soon climbs up the side of the cliff.
Brock calls out, "Just yell if you run into any problems, Mew!"
"Be careful of those Murkrow!" Misty calls out.
Soon, Mew, Pikachu and Eevee reach the top and spot Honchkrow and the Murkrow and their stolen goods, including her Fog badge.
"There it is, my Fog Badge," Mew says.
Then turns to her Pokemon, "Bulbasaur, you wait here while we get closer."
"Bulba." (Sure thing.) Bulbasaur says.
"Be as quiet as you can, okay, guys?" Mew whispers.
Pikachu and Eevee nod their heads.
Soon, Mew and her Pokemon start crawling towards the nest until they get within striking distance.
"Almost there," Mew says
Mew reaches his arm out until…. "Just about have it." and soon grabs it, "Got it."
And soon, Honchkrow notices Mew and her Pokemon and orders the attack.
"Here they come!" Mew says.
The three Pokemon charge towards Mew.
"Let's get out of here!" Mew cries out.
And with that, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee decide to run as Mew calls Bulbasaur back to its Pokeball.
They run to the ledge as Mew calls out, "Look out below!"
Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee jump off the cliff and land in the bushes. Then they all run out of it as fast as they can.
"I got my Fog badge, let's get out of here!" Mew calls out.
The group soon panics and runs away as well. And soon, the Honchkrow and three Murkrow chase after them.
"Let's split up, maybe we can lose them!" Misty says.
"It's worth a try!" Brock says.
Soon, Misty and Molly with Togepi and Sparkle run one direction. Brock, Jen, and Amaura hurry in another direction. Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwover hurry in another path. Lastly, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee hurry down the last path. Soon, Honchkrow orders the three Murkrow to split up and chase the others while Honchkrow proceeds to chase Mew.
Down the path where Misty and Molly are, the girls run down the path with one of the Murkrow chasing them.
"It's the Murkrow!" Molly calls out.
"I'll take care of it," Misty says.
Then calls out, "Sparkle, use Thunderbolt!"
Sparkle jumps from Misty's shoulder and Thunderbolt the Murkrow and shocks it so hard that it's knocked out.
Molly asks, "Misty, can I catch it?"
"Go for it, Molly," Misty says.
Molly then throws her Pokeball, "Pokeball go!"
And with that, Molly throws the Pokeball and it hits the Murkrow. With a few shakes, a ping, and a stop, the Murkrow has been caught.
Molly picks up the Pokeball, "Look Misty, I caught one of the Murkrow."
"Good job, Molly," Misty says. "Let's find the others."
"Right," Molly says
Meanwhile, Brock and Amaura are being chased by the Murkrow. The Murkrow soon performs Wing Attack at them.
Brock notices it, "Jen, look out!" And pushes Jen out of the way.
Then Jen calls out, "Amaura, use Icy Wind!"
Amaura then performs Icy Wind that ends up having Murkrow in a stand still.
Then Jen calls out, "Aurora Beam!"
Amaura then performs Aurora Beam and zaps Murkrow, making it fall to the ground.
Jen then throws her Pokeball, "Pokeball go!"
The Pokeball hits Murkrow and pulls it inside. After a few shakes and a ping, Murkrow has been caught.
Jen picks it up, "Alright!"
Where Tomo and his Pokemon are at, Tomo is already battling the Murkrow with Skwovet.
"Skwovet, use Tackle Attack!" Tomo calls out.
Skwovet uses Tackle and Murkorw does the same. Both attacks collide and the two are pushed back.
Murkrow then sends out a Peck attack and strikes at Skwovet.
"Skwovet, are you okay?" Tomo asks.
Skwovet soon gets up,
Then Tomo calls out, "Alright, now use Bullet Seed!"
Skwovet then fires a Bullet seed at Murkrow, causing it to fall.
"Now, use Body Slam!" Tomo calls out.
And with that, Skwovet uses Body Slam and slams Murkrow to the ground, knocking it out.
Tomo then throws his Pokeball, "Pokeball go!"
The Pokeball then hits Murkrow and pills inside. It then shakes a bit, and soon, Murkrow has been caught."
"Yeah! We caught Murkrow!" Tomo happily says.
"Loetta!" (You did it!) Meloetta happily cheers.
Skwovet cheers, "Skwovet!" (Alright!)
To where Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee are, they're able to double back down the path and head towards the cliff from earlier, but Honchkrow is still on their tail. Soon, Mew and her friends reach the cliff and stop to turn to see Honchkrow is closing in from behind.
"Well, it looks like we have no choice but to battle. Flying type against flying type," Mew says, and brings out her Pokeball.
She soon throws it, "Noctowl, I choose you!"
And Noctowl is let out.
Honchkrow then flies over and begins to use Wing Attack.
Mew calls out, "Noctowl, dodge and use Whirlwind!"
Noctowl dodges the Wing Attack and uses Whirlwind and starts to push Honchkrow back a bit.
"Use Tackle!" Mew calls out.
Noctowl begins to use Tackle while Honchkrow flies down for a Tackle Attack too. Just then, a strong gust of wind blow Noctowl and Honchkrow and all the shiny things away before
(The Murkrow start to take off after them, but a strong gust of wind blows them, Noctowl, Alucard and the Murkrow's nest of shiny things away before the Murkrow, their stolen goods the Honchkrow and Murkrow stole away. Then both Noctowl and Honchkrow land on the ground, knocked out. Team Rocket is soon heard laughing as our heroes look up and find a giant Murkrow-shaped aircraft creating the gust of wind.
A giant Murkrow!" Mew cries out.
Soon, they hear Jessie's voice, "Prepare for trouble, this is one of our traps."
Make it double, I still want my caps!" James says.
"Yeah yeah dey know da rest," Meowth says.
"Why are you back?!" Mew asks, annoyed.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce the new Mega Murkrow Mark 5!" Jessie says.
And Meowth says, "The extra special options are gonna blow you away! Get a load of this one!"
The mecha starts blowing stronger winds from its propellers As Meowth chuckles, a large vacuum comes down and sucks up all the stuff the Murkrow had stolen. Soon, all the shiny stuff lands in the cockpit.
Annoyed, Jessie asks, "Did we get Pikachu and Eevee?!"
James then begins to search the pile, "My bottle caps! My super rare bottle caps! Where are they?"
"We didn't come here ta collect your bottle caps! We came ta collect dat twoip's Pikachu and Eevee!" Meowth cries out.
James keeps digging while repeating bottle caps to himself.
Meanwhile, the Honchkrow and Noctowl are being blown away.
"I'll catch ya!" Mew says, and catches the Pokemon, "Don't worry! I got ya!"
Soon, the mecha stops and lands.
"Well, let's demonstrate some other options," Jessie says.
Mew turns to Honchkrow, "Honchkrow, fly away!"
"This is what we call the unbeatable beak attack!" Meowth says.
The beak strikes the ground and sends Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee back while the mecha corners Honchkrow.
"You and your little minions have caused us quite a bit of trouble," Jessie says.
"You're in a peck of trouble now!" Meowth says.
The beak comes down, the panic Honchkrow, but Noctoowl swoops in and knocks the mecha back.
"Another feathered foe! And it's got a batty buddy!" Meowth says.
"Don't worry, Meowth. We'll just use our other option!" Jessie says.
Then Meowth says, "The excrampulating cramp attack!"
From the mouth of the mech, a claw grabs Pikachu and Eevee.
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew cries out.
Jessie and Meowth laugh, "We got Pikachu and Eevee, there's nothing you can do!"
Meanwhile, James happily says, "Hooray! I got my rarest bottle cap back!"
Jessie says to Meowth, "Alright, Meowth, James is obviously out of it."
"It's just you and me! Let's finish this up with a Murkrow mega blow!" Meowth says.
Then the propellers go full force again, prompting Noctowl to take off, inspiring Honchkrow to follow.
"Honchkrow?" Mew questions.
The two soar through the air and towards Team Rocket's robot.
Jessie says without internet, "Look. They think they can win."
Meowth feels the same, "Go ahead and bring a whole swarm of Murkrow, you still can't touch us."
Then Jessie says, "Prepare to deliver the final blow."
"Aye-aye, captain!" Meowth says as the wings of the robot rises.
The two flyers break their formation and avoid the wind, then Noctowl and Honchkrow begin to fly at top speed. And out of the blur, the three Murkrow fly over, and use their Double Team attack to help them out.
"Where did Murrkow come from?" Mew asks.
Suddenly, Mew hears Misty's voice, "Mew!"
"Mew, over here!" Brock's voice calls out.
Mew turns her head to see Brock, Misty, and the others.
"Are you okay?" Tomo asks.
"I'm alright, but Team Rocket has Pikachu and Eevee," Mew says.
Then Brock notices, "Hey, look! Honchkrow and the Murkrow are following Noctowl's lead! They're all working together like a team!
"Maybe they can beat the Mega Murkrow now!" Tomo says.
"Yeah! Way to go!" Misty cheers.
Honchkrow and the Murkrow darts quickly.
Jessie cries out, "Hey! Buzz off, you crummy crows! You're getting in our way!"
"Wobbuffet! ("And airspace!") Wobbuffet says.
Meowth climbs on Wobbuffet, "Yeah, and so are you!"
James sighs happily, "Can enjoy joy approach the rapture of a super rare bottle cap capture?"
Jessie is not pleased, "Will you please get a grip, James?! Help us out here!"
"This ain't the time to be playing with that junk!" Meowth says.
James cries out, "This isn't junk!"
Suddenly, sparks fly from the mecha's legs until they catch fire, horrifying Jessie and Meowth.
Meowth asks, Why ain't we moving anymore?!
With Team Rocket immobilized, one of the Murkrow, on Noctowl's command, frees Pikachu and Eevee. Noctowl then catches them.
Misty and Molly happily say, "Pikachu!/Eevee!"
Then Mew says, "Alright, Pikachu, Eevee, hit em with a Thunderbolt!"
Both Pokemon perform the attack, destroying the mecha and sending Team Rocket flying.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket cries out.
Soon, all the stuff that the Murkrow snatched falls to the ground. As they do, Noctowl and Pikachu fly through the air and land on the ground.
"See how much you can do when you work together?" Brock says.
"Amazing," Misty, Molly, and Jen happily reply.
Later that evening, Mew puts her badges back where they belong.
Mew then turns her head, "Ready to go guys. And you two Honchkrow and Murkrows."
Honchkrow and the three Murkrow nod their heads, and ready to head off with Mew and the others. As it turns out, Honchkrow is so inspired by Mew and Noctowl that he decides to go with them.
Mew smiles and says, "Thanks a lot for helping us out back there, Murkrow!"
"Maybe you guys should try a little less tricking and a little more helping once in a while," Misty says.
"Who knows? You might even get to like it while traveling with us?" Borck says.
Honchkrow and the three Murkrow agree.
And with that, the group head off on the next part of their journey. Now that Honchkrow and the three Murkrow are with Mew and her friends, maybe they'll learn how to stay out of trouble. And now, Mew and her friends continue on the road across the Johto Region.
