Episode 74: The Beauty of the Dark Side
After leaving Ecruteak City, Mew and her friends continue on their journey through the Johto Region to the next Pokemon Gym.
"Now that I've won the Fog Badge, I'm halfway there until I can get into the Johto League," Mew says.
"Yeah. Remind me where we're going?" Tomo replies.
"We're heading towards the gym in Olivine City," Brock says.
Brock then looks at the guidebook, "According to the book, it will take a long way before we can get there."
"At least we get to travel some and see so many different cities," Jen says.
"And meet a lot of different Pokemon," Molly happily says.
"You're right. And I get to challenge other trainers until we get to the gym. I remember reading that the gym leader is a Steel Type Pokemon expert," Mew says.
"Since this will be the fifth gym leader, I can imagine the next gym would be tough," Misty says.
"Yeah. I'll have to come up with a good plan," Mew says, and thinks of it.
"You're right about that, but I also can't wait to see the beaches over there," Misty says.
Brock looks ahead, "We'll have to think about that later. It appears the sun is going down."
The group looks ahead to see the sun is going down and it's going to get dark soon.
"You're right. It's going to get dark soon," Misty says.
Brock looks at the guidebook, "And it looks like the nearest Pokemon Center is still a bit far. In a place called "
"What can we do?" Mew asks.
"I know a place where you can stay," A voice says.
The group turns their heads to see a cloaked figure approaching them.
The cloaked figure says, "If you wish to find a place to stay, there is an island by the river nearby." judging by the voice, the cloaked figure is a woman.
"An Island by the river?" Mew asks.
"What do you mean?" Tomo asks.
The cloaked maiden points towards the path, "Down this path there is an island in the middle of the river, where many Dark Type Pokemon live. Every night on the New Moon, they test their strength and power in battles, or mingle and have fun with one another."
"Sounds like you've been there a lot?" Misty asks.
"Have you seen them?" Tomo asks.
"Yes. Quite frequently. You can say I'm kind of a Dark Type expert," The cloaked woman says.
"That's pretty cool," Mew says.
Then the cloaked woman says, "I'm actually heading there again tonight. It's a New Moon tonight so many Dark Type Pokemon will gather. I came over for my Dark Type Pokemon so they can relax or test their strength."
Then Brock says, "That's amazing. Some of us actually have a few Dark Types."
"Yeah," Jen says.
"If that's the case, perhaps you all would like to accompany me to the island and let your Pokemon enjoy the island," The cloaked figure says.
Mew turns to the others, "What do you guys say?"
"Sure. I would like to go there," Misty says.
"Yeah. Umbreon and the others would love it," Tomo says.
"I'll bet Liepard and Honchkrow would love it too," Mew says.
"And the three Murkrow will love it too," Molly happily says.
"Zoroark and my other Pokemon will love to go there," Jen says.
The cloaked maiden says, "My, sounds like you all have quite the variety of Pokemon."
"Yeah. We have a lot of Pokemon friends," Mew says.
"And it will be nice to give them some fun, relaxation, and exercise," Brock says.
"Well then, follow me. It's going to get dark soon, so the Dark Pokemon will gather when the New Moon comes up," The cloaked maiden says.
"Well then, let's go," Mew says.
And with that, Mew and her friends follow the cloaked figure down the road to find the island of the Dark Pokemon's gathering place. Unknown to Mew and the others, Team Rocket just happens to overhear the conversation and stick their heads out of the bushes to see them walking down the path.
"Did you hear that?" Jessie whispers.
"Yeah. An Island that is full of different Dark Type Pokemon," James says.
"Sounds like the Island is pretty dark if the Pokemon goes there during a New Moon. We might not be able to see," Meowth says.
"Who cares. If we can capture so many Dark Pokemon at one place, we'll be able to capture them and bring them to the boss," Jessie says.
"Yeah. Talk about us striking gold," Meowth says.
"You mean black gold," James jokes.
Meowth laughs, "That's a good one Jimmy."
The three snicker with grins on their faces.
Then Jessie says, "Alright, enough jokes, we gotta catch up with the twerps and that cloaked person. We don't want to lose them."
And with that, Team Rocket begins to secretly follow Mew and the others to the island of Dark Type Pokemon for their little Pokemon hunt.
Later on, it's dark at night, and Mew and her friends are led by the mysterious cloaked figure to a river. They soon notice a large island in the middle of a large riverThe island has some hill areas, trees, bushes with fruits, and even a large open space.
"This is it. This is the Island of the Dark Pokemon," The cloaked maiden says.
"It looks very nice," Mew says.
"Yeah. And look, there's the New Moon," Brock says.
The group looks to see the New Moon rising into the sky and it's like it's over the island.
"Yes. This is it. The island for the Dark Type Pokemon gathering," The cloaked woman says.
"When will they arrive?" Jen asks.
"They should be right about now," The cloaked maiden says.
Soon enough, many different Dark Type Pokemon come out from air, land, and water towards the island and gather towards the large opening. Mew and the others are amazed to see so many different Dark Type Pokemon arriving. There's even some they know like Umbreon, Sneasel, Weavile, Houndour, Houndoom, and other Pokemon they recognize, and some they haven't even seen before. Even different forms of Pokemon from other regions arrive and gather.
"Wow. There are so many of them," Misty says.
"It's like they have many different Dark Type Pokemon from other parts of the world," Mew says.
"Yeah. There's even some from other regions in different forms," Brock says.
"Some of them are also very cute," Molly says.
Mew then turns to the cloaked maiden, "Thank you for inviting us over. I can't wait to check out the island."
Soon, Mew realizes and says, "We haven't introduced ourselves yet. I'm Mew and my pals, Pikachu and Eevee."
"I'm Misty, and this is my Pikachu, Sparkle and Togepi," Misty says.
"I'm Brock, nice to meet you," Brock says.
"I'm Tomo, and these are my friends, Meloetta and Skwovet," Tomo says.
Then it's Jen's turn, "I'm Jen, and this is Amaura."
"Hi. I'm Molly, it's nice to meet you," Molly happily says.
"Oh right. I haven't introduced myself yet. Allow me and my Pokemon to do just that," The cloaked maiden says.
Just then, the cloaked figure throws her Pokeballs to reveal an Umbreon, Houndoom, and it appears to be wearing a collar with some stone around its neck, Murkrow, Weavile, Honchkrow. And one other Pokemon.
The other Pokemon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon with a primarily white body with some dark blue coloration. It has a ruff around its neck and chest and a tuft on the top of its head adorned with a single blue-black oval. Between the dark fur, the curvature of the white fur on its head, and the positioning of its horn, Absol's face vaguely resembles a wu wei symbol. It has a feline face with almond-shaped, red eyes, a scythe-like tail, and a scythe-shaped horn on the side of its head. Its broad feet are equipped with three claws each, and dewclaw-like spikes protrude from the heels of its hind legs and the elbows of its front legs.
She then removes her cloak to reveal her appearance. The woman is in her twenties. She has long and beautiful silver-blue hair that goes down to her thighs, with matching eyes, and light fair skin. She is wearing a yellow strap crop top with a black lace, white pants with yellow round fabric around the top, and high heels.
The woman brushes back her hair and says, "My name is Karen, Johto Region's Elite Four, and expert of Dark Type Pokemon."
Mew and her friends are surprised to hear that the mysterious cloaked maiden is none other than Karen, the Elite Four member that uses Dark Type Pokemon.
Just then, Brock approaches Karen and has love in his eyes, "Karen, huh. That is a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. It's amazing that someone who looks so bright can train Dark Pokemon. You shine a bright light in the darkness that leads me right to you," Then Brock takes her hand, "Maybe since the New Moon is out, perhaps we could have a picnic in the night sky with the stars shining."
Just then, Misty grabs Brock by the ear and pulls him away from Karen, "Keep this up Brock, and she'll be leaving you in the dark."
"Not the ear! Not the ear!" Brock cries out in pain.
Mew turns to Karenm, "Sorry about that. Brock seems to get like that when he sees a pretty girl."
Karen giggles, "Well, I appreciate that he thinks I'm pretty."
Then says, "So then, how about you all let out your Dark Pokemon and let's go to the island."
"Sure," Mew says.
Mew then throws her Pokeball and lets out her Liepard and Honchkrow.
Tomo, Molly, and Jen each also call out their Murkrow.
Tomo calls out Umbreon, Zorua, Deino, Mandibuzz, Shiny Houndour.
Jen calls out Overqwil, and Zoroark.
Brock also calls out Weavile and Sandile.
"Wow. You do have quite a bit of Dark Type Pokemon," Karen says.
Then says, "Now that you have them out. Let's head to the island. The only way is to go to the rock trails around the area."
And with that, Mew and her friends, and the Pokemon follow Karen with her Dark Type Pokemon and make their way to the island. Team Rocket secretly spy on them from the bush and look to see the kids are heading to the island.
"Who would have thought this mysterious cloaked figure is one of the Elite Four of this Region," James says.
"Yeah. The lady wears just light colors, you could never guess she trains Dark Type Pokemon," Moewth says.
Jessie huffs, "Well, she's not as pretty as me. Come on, we gotta plan a counter attack to swipe all these Dark Pokemon."
"How are we going to do that?" Meowth asks.
James reads a small book and says, "According to information, many Dark Types are weak against Bug Types, Fairy Types, and Fighting Types."
"Bug, Fairy, and Fighting, huh," Jessie replies.
Then an idea pops in her head, "I know how we can catch these Pokemon."
"How?" The boys ask.
"Just follow my lead," Jessie says.
And with that, Team Rocket slips away as they come up with a plan to capture the Dark Type Pokemon, and knowing them, it's probably another one of their robots.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others arrive on the island to see so many wild Dark Type Pokemon are either mingling, eating, training, or battling with one another. Even Mew, her friends, and their Pokemon are having a good time, and they end up mingling with a few of them.
Togepi and Sparkle are playing with a group of orange-maroon fox-like Pokémon with a slender body and a large head relative to its body size. It has long, black ears, white spots on its head that resemble eyebrows, and small dots around its eyes that give the appearance of tears and mask-like markings around its yellow eyes. They also have tufts of furs on both sides of its head. It has a white belly and chest, its feet are black, and its tail is long with a black tip resembling a sack.
There's also two orange-maroon vulpine Pokémon with a moderate build, slender limbs, and a long tail. It has white chest fur that puffs out from its body and vaguely resembles a cravat. There are two long black ears on the top of their head, as well as black fur around its eyes that resemble a domino mask. The black whiskers on the end of its muzzle are in the form of a pointed mustache and the white markings above its eyes resemble eyebrows. Its paws, back, and the tip of its tail are all black, and it retains the flared tail-tip. They sit as they watch their little ones play, Misty does as well.
"Aww, they're so cute," Misty says.
"Wonder what they are? Molly asks.
Mew brings out her Pokedex, "Let's see what Dexter says." and points to the little Pokemon playing with Togepi and Sparkle.
Then Dexter says, "Nickit, the Fox Pokemon. A Dark Type. Cunning and cautious, this Pokémon survives by stealing food from others. It erases its tracks with swipes of its tail as it makes off with its plunder."
Mew points to the other two Pokemon, "Thievul, the Fox Pokemon, and the evolved form of Nickit. A Dark Type. It secretly marks potential targets with a scent. By following the scent, it stalks its targets and steals from them when they least expect it."
"They sure are cute," Misty says.
Suddenly, Molly feels something tapping on her shoulder. She turns to see another Pokemon, a bipedal Pokémon with a dark purple body, armed with sharp teeth and claws, which it uses to dig through soil. It has pale blue, gemstone-like eyes, which allow it to see in low light and sparkle in the dark. It also has a red gemstone on its chest, and it's back has a blue and green gemstone as well as another red one. These gem-like eyes and adornments on its body are caused by its diet, which consists of rocks and raw gemstones.
"Hello," Molly says.
The Pokemon waves, "Sableye."
"Cool, it's a Sableye," Mew says.
Mew points to it, and Dexter says, "Sableye, the Darkness Pokemon. A Dark and Ghost Pokemon. Sableye digs the ground with sharpened claws to find rocks that it eats. Substances in the eaten rocks crystallize and rise up to the Pokémon's body surface."
"You wanna play?" Molly asks.
Sableye nods in reply.
Molly and Sableye begin to play together and are starting to have fun.
Brock soon walks over with a Pokemon on his shoulder.
"Hey guys, take a look who I've met," Brock says.
Then turns to the Pokemon on his shoulder. It's a primarily purple, feline Pokémon. Its head has tufted fur on its ears and cheeks. There are long, tapered violet markings above its green eyes. It has a diminutive black nose on its creamy muzzle, and a small, oval, cream-colored marking above each eye. Its neck, shoulders, back, and hind paws are also cream-colored. The tip of its tail has a curved, vaguely scythe-like extension.
"It's a Purrloin," Mew says.
Then turns to Liepard," Right Liepard, you were a Purrloin before you evolved."
Liepard nods in reply.
Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says, "Purrloin, the Devious Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Liepard. A Dark Type. Opponents that get drawn in by its adorable behavior come away with stinging scratches from its claws and stinging pride from its laughter."
"Yeah. I learned that the hard way. I was going to give it a small batch of Pokemon food, and end up swiping the entire jar," Brock says, sheepishly.
Mew and the others laugh.
Tomo soon rushes over and says, "Hey guys, there's a battle going on over there."
"Let's check it out," Mew says.
Mew and the others soon arrive to see two Pokemon battling. One of them is a Pokemon like the one that Karen has, and the other is a different Pokemon. It's a ghostly purple Pokémon attached to a stone. The rock is trapezoidal in shape and has two small dots. There is a crack running down the middle, splitting in two near the bottom. The crack in combination with the two dots appears to form a frowning face. Its projected appearance is an ethereal composition of swirling purple fog. Its face is set in the middle of the fog and contains green, crescent eyes that are connected to its jagged mouth. Its pupils are composed of a spiral and it is sometimes only seen with one. Swirling around its face are green orbs with yellow centers.
The Horn Pokemon performs a Dark Pulse Attack, while the spirit Pokemon dodges the attack and performs a Shadow Ball, striking at the horn Pokemon.
"Whoa, look at them go," Misty says.
"Yeah. Did you see that Pokemon," Tomo says.
"That one looks like the one Karen has," Jen says.
Karen walks over, "It sure is. That Pokemon is an Absol."
"And is that a Spiritomb? It's very rare to see one of these," Mew says.
"Sounds like you've done your research," Karen says.
"Yes. My papa and Professor Oak told me about them," Mew says, and points her Pokedex at it.
Dexter says, "Spiritomb, the Forbidden Pokemon. A Ghost and Dark Type. Exactly 108 spirits gathered to become this Pokémon. Apparently there are some ill-natured spirits in the mix."
"That sounds kind of scary," Misty says.
"Indeed, but they're pretty powerful," Karen says.
Then Mew says, "I remember my papa and other Pokemon told me of a legend that many many years ago, a Spiritomb had caused a lot of trouble. One day, a human traveler along with his Pokemon companion was able to stop the Spiritomb and had it imprisoned within the keystone it's attached to."
"That's an interesting legend," Misty says.
"Either way, the Spiritomb is really strong, but that Absol is no pushover either," Mew says.
"Yeah. Absol looks really cool," Tomo says.
Mew and her friends continue watching the battle. Absol dodges and uses Shadow Claw, but Spiritomb dodges the attack and performs Hex, which petrifies Absol. And then Spiritomb performs Shadow Ball, and that's enough to knock Absol out.
"Looks like Spiritomb won that battle," Mew says.
"That Spiritomb is really strong," Brock says.
Purrloin nods its head in reply.
Tomo then walks to Absol as it gets up and walks away.
"Hi," Tomo waves.
Absol simply looks at Tomo and walks towards him. The two stare at each other and Absol gives Tomo a lick on the cheek. Tomo smiles and pet Absol with its permission of course.
Then Spiritomb floats towards Mew with her Honchkrow and Liepard. Then begins to show a Shadow Ball towards them.
"Uh do you want me to battle you?" Mew asks.
Spiritomb makes the Shadow Ball disappear and nods in reply.
"Okay then," Mew says.
Mew turns to Honchkrow, "You're up for a battle, Honchkrow?"
Honchkrow nods in reply.
Mew turns to Spiritomb, "Okay then, let's battle."
And with that, Mew and Honchkrow join Spiritomb on the battlefield to begin their battle.
Spiritomb starts the first attack with a Shadow Ball.
Mew calls out," Dodge and use Wing Attack!"
Honchkrow dodges and uses Wing Attack. Spiritomb dodges the attack.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Mew calls out.
Hochkrow performs Dark Pulse. Spiritomb performs Dark Pulse as well. Both attacks collide.
Misty and the others watch Mew and Honchkrow battle.
"Look at them battle," Misty says.
"Yeah. Mew and Honchkrow are already working together like a team," Jen says.
The three Murkorw cheer for their Boss with glee. Suddenly, all three are suddenly hit with Bluk Berries.
"Where did those come from?" Tomo asks.
Soon, Tomo, Absol, Jen, Molly, and Sableye are all hit with Bluk berries. They soon turn to see a Pokemon with a few of them as it laughs. It's a small, fuchsia Pokémon with a large head, small body, and wiry limbs. Its hands have three fingers each while its feet don't have digits. Its face has a purple "mask", prominent pointed ears, large eyes with small pupils, a long nose with a single nostril, and a fanged mouth. It usually has its purple tongue sticking out. The back of its head sports a tuft of hair that resembles a bat wing.
"What's that Pokemon?" Jen asks.
"That's an Impidimp," Karen says.
"Impidimp?" Tomo questions and takes out Mew's Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Impidimp, the Wily Pokemon. A Dark and Fairy Type. They live in groups, pestering and playing pranks on each other to polish their troublemaking skills."
And soon the Pokemon throws the berries at them. Then, another Pokemon jumps over and eats one of the berries in the air.
The Pokemon is a brown, quadrupedal, canine Pokémon, with a dark gray snout and underside. It has a layer of thick fat under its skin that protects it from attacks. Its paws have four toes each. It has yellow tufts of fur on its head and back; the head fur makes the appearance of a crest. It also has a long, yellow, brushy tail. Its head has droopy triangular ears with yellow insides, and black beady eyes below two protuberances on its forehead that seemingly give it a constant anxious expression. Its snout contains a rounded triangular orange nose and a large mouth, with strong jaws and sharp fangs that can crush boulders.
"And what is that?" Molly asks.
Tomo points Mew's Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Maschiff, the Rascal Pokemon. A Dark Type. Its well-developed jaw and fangs are strong enough to crunch through boulders, and its thick fat makes for an excellent defense."
"It looks kind of cute," Molly says.
And then Maschiff jumps towards Molly and lets out a bark with glee. Then licks her face full of Berry juice, making the child giggle.
Suddenly, they hear a loud explosion coming from the distance, catching everyone's attention. That even causes Mew's battle to come to a halt.
"What was that?" Mew asks.
And then, coming right towards the island is some giant sized mechanical Wigglytuff with a red 'R' on the belly. Mew, Karen, the others, and the Pokemon rush over to see the giant Pokemon walking towards them.
"What is that?" Misty asks.
"A giant Wigglytuff?" Jen questions.
"No. I think I know who it is," Mew says.
And of course, with the loudspeaker, Team Rocket performs their motto in the robot.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble in this dark of night!
James:
Make it double, allow us to shed some light!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight.
Meowth:
Meowth, that's right!
"Team Rocket!" Mew and her friends call out.
"Team Rocket!" Karne asks.
"They're a bunch of crooks who go and steal other people's Pokemon," Brock says.
"And they always follow us in trying to steal Pikachu and Eevee," Misty adds.
"And our Pokemon too," Molly adds
"Not to mention a group of clowns," Jen says.
"Hey, we're not clowns!" Jessie shouts through the robot.
"Show some respect, you little prehistoric girl!" James shouts.
"What are you three morons doing here?" Mew demands.
"What else did we come here to do? We came to steal all the Dark Types," Meowth says.
"That includes all of your Dark Type Pokemon as well," James says.
"And Pikachu and Eevee can be our bonus," Jessie says.
"And what better way to fight a Dark Type is with a Fairy Type," James adds.
"Forget it, we're not going to let you kidnap any of these Pokemon," Mew says.
"Yeah. If you think that robot is going to work, it won't!" Misty says.
"We'll see about that," Jessie says.
"Activate Fairy nets!" Meowth says.
"You got it, Meowth," James says and presses the button.
With that, the Wigglytuff Robot opens its mouth and launches the nets out. Everyone panics as some of the Dark Type Pokemon are being captured.
"Hey! You can't do this!" Karen calls out.
"Sorry Dark Girl, but all these Dark Types are ours," Jessie says.
"And we'll be taking yours as well," James says.
"Not if I have anything to say about it," Karen says.
She then calls out, "Absol, use Air Slash!"
And with that, her Absol performs Ari Slash and cuts all the ropes, freeing the Pokemon trapped in the net.
Team Rocket soon panics to see that.
"Now Honchkrow, use Night Shade! Weavile, use Dark Pulse," Karen calls out.
Both Karen's Honchkrow and Weavile then use their attacks to attack the Robot and make a big hole right in the center.
Jessie panics, "This isn't working out as we originally thought."
"And it looks like we're going to be…" James panics.
"Blasting off too soon!" Meowth panics.
Then Karen brings out what looks like a Key Stone that she is wearing around her neck.
Karen then says, "Alright Houndoom, time to show them the power of Darkness and Fire."
Soon, both the Key Stone Karen has and the Mega Stone that Houndoom possesses both begin to glow.
Karen then calls out, "Mega Evolve!"
And with that, Houndoom begins to Mega Evolve right before Mew and the others' eyes. Soon Houndoom has Mega Evolved into Mega Houndoom. Mega Houndoom, the ridges on its back thicken, and it gains additional bone-like rings around the base of its tail. The rings on its tail have small spikes on top resembling vertebrae. The ridge at the base of Mega Houndoom's neck is longer and curves forward towards its shoulders. Instead of a band with a skull pendant, there is a large, toothed structure around its neck. This bone-like formation has two large spikes on either side and three pointed teeth on the bottom. Mega Houndoom's horns now point straight up with a small, outward curve in the middle. The two bands on its hind legs have vanished, and those on its forelegs are broken in the front. Its claws are a dark , the tip of its tail is now split down the middle.
Team Rocket begins to scream and panic in response.
Then Karne calls out, "Now then, give them your Fire Blast!"
And with that, Mega Houndoom performs a very powerful Fire Blast attack, and in the matter of seconds the Wigglytuff Robot explodes and sends Team Rocket blasting off.
"We're blasting off again too soon!" Team Rocket cries out.
"Wobbuffet!" (Way too soon!) Wobbuffet cries out.
Mew and her friends are astonished to see it.
"Now that's a powerful Fire Blast," Mew says.
"That was awesome," Misty says.
Soon, Tomo's Houndour eyes sparkle and barks towards the Mega Houndoom in adoration.
"Looks like Houdour has an Idol," Misty giggles.
"I'm guessing Houndour is very impressed by Mega Houndoom's ability and attack," Mew says.
Time has passed and the sun begins to rise in the sky. Soon, Mew and her friends are ready to take their leave.
"Thanks for showing us this place Karen, we had a good time," Mew says.
"You're welcome. And I'm glad you and your Dark Pokemon had a good time, despite the hitches," Karen says.
Just then, Bluk Berries have been thrown at Mew's and the others' faces. They turn their heads to see Impidimp. It laughs with glee and climbs on Amaura and passes another berry to Jen.
"I think it likes us, well, and Jen," Mew says as Impidimp jumps on Jen's shoulders.
Jen ends up laughing in reply.
Then Sabalye and Maschiff gather towards Molly. The Maschiff licks her cheek with glee. Misty also notices Togepi and Sparkle are joined by the Nickit. The Purrloin climbs on Brock's shoulder. Absol is next to Tomo. Lastly, Spiritomb floats towards Mew.
"I wonder what the Pokemon are doing here," Misty asks.
Mew then says, "I think they want to come with us."
The Pokemon nod their heads in reply.
The Maschiff continues to lick Molly, making her laugh. Sabalye then presents Molly with a present.
"What is it?" Molly asks.
He then gives Molly a round stone. It's yellow with red and purple in the center.
"Thank you," Molly says.
Absol then gives Tomo a similar stone to the one Sabalye has given her. It's light blue with silver and darker blue in the center.
"Aww, how sweet," Misty says.
"It's amazing, they've given you Mega Stones," Brock says.
Mew then smiles, "Well then, who are we to say no to them."
"I agree. Nickit really likes Togepi and Sparkle," Misty says.
"And Impidimp is funny, despite it being a prankster," Jen says.
Impidimp splatters her face with a bluk berry. This time, Jen throws the berry back, splattering the Pokemon's face, making it laugh.
Spiritomb and the others are also happy to come along.
"Well then, it's best we all get going," Mew says.
"Yeah. We have quite a distance to get to Olivine City," Brock says.
"If you're looking for a place to rest, since you've all been up all night, then the next town ahead should be Bandeau City. If you continue down that path it should get you there," Karen says.
"Bandeau City, huh. Thanks for letting us know," Mew says.
"It's no trouble. I hope to see you all someday, and I hope you take care of the Pokemon," Karen says.
"Don't worry, we'll take good care of them," Brock says.
"They're part of the family now," Misty says.
"Bye Karen," Tomo says.
"Bye, and good luck on your journey," Karen says.
Mew and her friends continue to walk on the path, saying goodbye to Karen, the Elite Four of Dark Type Pokemon. With new friends by their side, Mew and her friends group have gotten even bigger. And Mew and her friends continue on their journey to the next part of their adventure.
