Episode 78: The Light Fantastic

On a bright, hot, and sunny day, Mew and her friends continue to press on their destination: Olivine City. The road leads them through a harsh landscape, and the weather is withering. In fact, it causes the group to come to a stop.

"Must be a hundred and ten degrees out here," Mew says.

"I feel like I'm going to melt," Tomo says.

"I wish this river wasn't dried up. We could all go for a swim," Brock says.

And Misty says, "Wouldn't that be nice? Cool, clear water."

"Is there some water left?" Molly asks.

"I'll check," Mew says, and brings out her canteen.

However, she checks to see that it's empty, causing everyone, even the Pokemon to sigh in exhaustion.

Just then, Team Rocket peek out, and they feel as exhausted as Mew and her friends are.

"Look at that, the twerps are hot and tired and they've run out of water," James says.

"Those two goils dat passed out are both as dry as a Cubone," Meowth adds.

"For once, we're luckier than they are," Jessie says and gets out her canteen, "At least we have a canteen full of…"

But it's empty too when she tries to drink it.

"I got my drink, did you?" James asks.

And Meowth says, "I chuggled up mine, too."

Then Jessie angrily smacks the two on the heads.

"What'd you do that for?" James asks, shocked.

"Dat hoit," Meowth says.

Jessie angrily says, "That water was supposed to be for all of us to share, now there isn't anymore!"

"We were wrong!" James says in realization.

"Dat's right," Meowth says.

James sighs and says, "No more water."

"There's not a cloud in the sky. We might not have rain for a week!" Jessie says.

Then Team Rocket let out a sigh with dread.

Meanwhile, with Mew and her friends.

"Maybe we could dig a well," Misty suggests.

"Out here, we'd hit oil," Tomo says.

"Maybe, if we're lucky, it'll rain. If not, I'll cry a river!" Brock says in tears, but soon notices something.

"What's the matter?" Jen asks,

"Did your tears dry up, too?" Mew asks.

But Brock says, "No, look over there!"

Everyone looks up to the right and sees what looks like an aurora borealis shining in the sky.

"What's that?" Tomo asks.

Even Meloetta and Skwovet are confused.

Everyone stands up and looks over to see the mysterious light.

"What is it?" Jen asks.

"It's really pretty," Molly says.

"Maybe, it's a spaceship," Misty suggests.

"I doubt that, but whatever it is, it's right over Remoraid Mountain!" Brock says, looking at the guidebook.

He then notices, "Hey, we're right near a Pokemon Center!"

"We'll be able to cool off and have ice cold drinks there!" Misty happily says.

"And we might get some answers about those lights," Brock says.

"Come on, let's go!" Mew says.

The Pokemon agree, and everyone begins their journey to the Pokemon Center in the area. Team Rocket remain behind as they watch the group move on.

"Where are they going now?" James asks.

"Wherever they're going, we have to follow them!" Jessie declares.

"Does dat we include me?" Meowth asks.

And Jessie says, "Those twerps must be headed for those lights in the sky because they must lead to something rare and valuable!"

"I'm too thirsty to get worked up," James complains.

Jessie turns to James, "How can you think of thirst when our fortune lies before us? Come on, team! Let's follow that light!"

However, the lights over the mountains vanish, surprising Team Rocket.

"It's gone!" Jessie says.

"Disappeared!" James replies.

Meowth suggests, "Maybe it was a mirage! Maybe it wasn't dere!"

But Jessie says, "Of course it was there! We saw it and it'll be back again! If the heroes are heading for it there, then so are we! This could be our chance to grab Pikachu and Eevee!"

"Okay, but could we grab a club soda, first?" James questions.

Then Jessie says, " To the light, team!" and rushes ahead.

"Maybe the heat's gotten to her," James suggests.

And Meowth says, "It's too bad."

And James and Meowth both say, "Come on, let's go."

With that, the two follow Jessie as she chants as she marches, "First the walking then the light, we'll keep walking day and night! Soon we'll see the colored light shining in the sky so bright!" and let out a chuckle.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others arrive at what appears to be wreckage.

"Whoa, cool!" Tomo says.

"It looks like a prehistoric city!" Misty says,

Mew looks at one of the poles, "There's all kinds of symbols and stuff on these logs here."

"This is where the ancient colossal tree tribe lived," Brock says, looking at the guidebook.

"Ancient colossal tree tribe?" Jen says, confused.

Brock explains, "It's a lost civilization. The people here used to cut huge trees from nearby forests and mountains to build gigantic buildings."

"Well, the mountains are still around, but we haven't seen any forests for miles and miles," Mew says.

But soon, Misty notices something, "Hey! Guys, look at this carving." And Misty finds a carving that looks like a fish, or a Fish Pokemon, "It looks like a Pokemon I've seen somewhere before."

"It's not a carving," A familiar voice says.

Everyone turns to see Nurse Joy, "That's a fossil of a Remoraid."

"Hey, it's Nurse Joy," Brock says.

Soon, Misty realizes, "That's it! Remoraid! I knew it looked familiar!"

"How do you know about em?" Jen asks.

"Mew and I saw a cool documentary about Remoraid on Pokémon TV," Misty says.

"Oh yeah. I remember that documentary," Mew says.

She then has an image of the Pokemon in her head. Remoraid is a light blue piscine Pokémon with saucer-like eyes and a mouth with four pointed teeth. There are two dark stripes on its back that resemble the barrel of a revolver. It has a single pelvic fin positioned like a revolver's trigger, two small pectoral fins, and a dorsal fin near its mouth resembling a gun's front sight. In addition, it has two caudal fins, the bottom of which resembles the butt of a gun and the top resembles the hammer. All of its fins except for the dorsal fin are white.

She brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Remoraid, the Jet Pokémon. A Water Type. Often found in large groups, Remoraid can fire water and hit targets up to 100 meters away."

"But there haven't been any Remoraid around in this area for centuries. Not since all the rivers and lakes dried up," Nurse Joy says.

"Water Pokémon couldn't live in a place that didn't have any water anymore," Misty says.

"Before the water went away, the people who used to live here loved the Remoraid so much that they were known as Remoraidians," Nurse Joy says.

"You mean the colossal tree people?" Brock asks.

"Say! You're very knowledgeable," Nurse Joy replies.

Brock happily says, "Thanks for the compliment, Nurse Joy. Coming from you, it means a lot!"

"Yeah, anything coming from a girl means a lot to Brock," Brock says.

Then Nurse Joy explains, "A long time ago, this land was very green and beautiful. There were lush forests everywhere. But the Remoraidians wanted to build a great city here, so they cut down tree after tree for timber and fuel. After a while, there weren't any trees left. The rivers and lakes started to dry up, and without any shade, the earth turned to dust. They couldn't grow food, they had no water. Finally, the Remoraidians had to abandon their city and move away. They thought by building a great city that their civilization would live on forever, but now the Remoraidians are forgotten."

"Most people don't know about em, Nurse Joy, but I do," Brock says, "I know about lots of things, things like Pokemon breeding and beauty... That flower is almost as beautiful as you."

"I was so surprised to find anything growing up here, especially a flower, but... look!" Nurse Joy says, and shows them another flower.

"Another one!" Misty says, surprised, "It's so pretty!"

"A Pokémon trainer told me about seeing flowers up here, but I had to come and see them for myself to really believe it," Nurse Joy says.

Everyone looks to see more flowers growing from the ground.

"They're all over!" Tomo says.

"I can't explain it, but it's nice to know that something's alive and thriving here," Nurse Joy says.

"New life springing from a dead civilization," Brock says.

Then turns to Nurse Joy, My name is Brock and I'd be delighted to accompany you on an archaeological…"

But Misty pushes Brock out of the way before he can finish, "Hi! My name's Misty. I'm a water Pokémon trainer. Of course, I train other types of Pokemon, but Water is my specialty.

"I'm Mew, and I'm a Pokemon Trainer too," Mew says.

"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.

"I'm Jen,"

And I'm Molly," Molly says.

"It's nice to meet you, and you all have some cute Pokemon," Nurse Joy says and pet Pikachu and Eevee.

And Nurse Joy notices, "But his fur is so dry, I can tell he must be very thirsty."

Pikachu and Eevee agree. They're very tired, hot, and thirsty.

"Why don't you come with me to the Pokémon Center? We have lots of cold water there," Nurse Joy says.

"Okay!" Everyone happily replies and soon follows Nurse Joy to the Pokemon Center.

Of course, Team Rocket is spying on them.

"Dey must be going to the Pokémon Center," Meowth says.

And Jessie says, "I bet they have water there."

"I'd love some water," James says.

But Meowth says, "If we go to the Pokémon Center, they'll trow us out."

"They won't throw us out if they think James and I are professors of... archaeology!" Jessie says as she and James dressed for an excavation.

"Den what am I gonna be?" Meowth asks.

"Well, you can't show up as you," Jessie says.

Meowth needs a disguise," James says.

Then Jessie has an idea, "I have an idea."

Meanwhile, at the Pokemon Center, Mew, and her friends, including the Pokemon, are drinking water.

"Water is very important, you should always drink plenty," Nurse Joy says.

"Tastes great. Don't you think so, guys?" Mew says.

Pikachu and Eevee happily agree.

Pikachu: Pika! ("Refreshing!")

"Oh, it's delicious!" Misty says.

"Yeah, I wonder where it comes from," Brock says.

"I'll show you. I think you'll find it very interesting," Nurse Joy says, beginning to walk down the stairs.

Everyone follows Nurse Joy down the stairs and into the cavern.

"I get the water right here," Nurse Joy says.

Everyone becomes amazed.

"A lake?" Mew asks, shocked.

"Right under the Pokemon Center?" Tomo says.

"But this place is so dry! How could this happen?" Misty asks.

"I have a pump that leads to a filter that feeds the pool with water, and the filter is to make sure nothing unwanted gets in the water.

"I can't explain how this lake came to be, but I'm really glad it did," Nurse Joy says, "Once every dozen years or so, the dried up riverbed that runs right in front of the Pokemon Center starts flowing again. Somehow, the water finds its way down here and fills up our underground lake."

"That's really cool!" Misty says.

But someone else says, "It is. But zere's more to it zan zat."

Everyone turns to see a man in a red vest, wearing a hat, with gray hair and mustache walking down the stairs.

"Hey, who is this?" Brock asks.

"Oh, this is Mr. Gan Gogh. He's an artist," Nurse Joy says.

Soon, everyone walks back upstairs to get acquainted with the artist.

Mr. Gan Gogh says, "Every twelve years I come here to see somezing I first saw twenty-four years ago, ze mysterious rainbow lights.

"The mysterious rainbow lights?" Brock asks,

"I vas a young man traveling zrough ze countryside vhen I first witnessed zeir beauty," Mr. Gan Gogh says, and remembers the first time he has seen it, "I vas eenstantly captivated. Ze colors vere strange and utterly fascinating. I decided to make a sketch. Luckily, I had crayons in all ze colors of the rainbow.

(in flashback) Why doesn't it look right?"

"Seven colors weren't enough to express vhat I saw," The artist continues, "Twelve years later, I zought I was ready, zis time I had twelve crayons. But zey still veren't enough to recreate ze variety of color I saw in ze sky. But zis year, I will not fail! Zis year, I have 251!"

"Wow! 251?" The boys reply, amazed.

"That's one crayon for every Pokemon," Misty says.

Mr. Gan Gogh says, "Pretty imprese, eh? Zis year is finally going to be different. Despite ze fact zat more Pokémon have been discovered, which means zat one would need more to match up with ze number of Pokémon, zat doesn't matter now, because zis year I'm going to capture zose colors perfectly!

"He's gonna need all those crayons to draw the lights we saw today," Mew says.

That sends the artist in a frantic state and begins to ask as he shakes Mew, "You saw them?! You saw the colors?! Where did they come from?! Tell me!"

"I don't know! I'm kinda shook up!" Mew cries out, feeling dizzy.

Moments later, everyone is looking at the map of the area with Mr. Gan Gogh in regards to the light they've seen.

"So, you all saw zose lights here and said zat you came over here to ze Pokémon Center," Go

"That's right and it looks like they were hovering right over Remoraid Mountain," Misty says.

"Hmmm," Mr. Gan Gogh replies.

"Right over Remoraid Mountain," Nurse Joy says, "Well, if you saw the lights from there and Mr. Gan Gough always watches the lights from here, let me see now." and crosses the path of the sight from where the group sees the light, "Why, that's Remoraid Lake!"

"A lake near here?" Tomo asks.

"It used to be a lake. There's no water there anymore, of course," Nurse Joy says.

"There's some legend about that lake," Brock says.

"That's right, Brock," Nurse Joy says, "There is a legend that says the Remoraid who live in Remoraid Lake are almost impossible to capture."

"That's really weird, Nurse Joy. Why would Remoraid be harder to catch than any other kind of Pokemon? And how could water Pokemon survive for centuries in a lake without any water?" Misty asks.

Soon, the nearby door opens, revealing Team Rocket in their disguise.

Jessie says, "That's a very intelligent question, young lady, and we've come here to answer it for you."

"Yes, we're hot on the trail of solving that very mystery," James says.

May I help you?" Nurse Joy asks.

"We're archaeologists exploring the ruins," Jessie says.

Nurse Joy asks, "The Remoraid Ruins?"

That's exactly where we've been all day," Jessie says.

Nurse Joy gets excited, "Oh, this is so exciting! Have you dug up anything interesting in the ruins yet?"

"Yes, in fact, just this morning," James says, and presents the mummified Meowth, "We unearthed this mummy of an ancient Meowth!"

And Jessie shakes the 'mummy,' "See? It's old and dusty and dried out."

"That reminds me, we're a little dusty and dried out ourselves!" James says.

Then they both say, "We could use a little drink!"

They both soon chug down glasses of water, "Ah! Good!"

Muffled, Meowth asks, "Hey, c'mon! I want a drink, too!"

James sheepishly says, "Maybe a little water will revive our mummy, too."

Jessie and James laugh sheepishly as they pour water onto Meowth's head.

Then, Mr. Gan Gough spots something over yonder, "Look! They're back!"

Everyone rushes towards the window in amazement.

"Hey!" Mew replies.

"It's amazing!" Nurse Joy says.

"Just like always!" Mr. Gan Gogh says, and soon realizes something and rushes to his tools, "I've got to hurry and make my sketch before they disappear again!"

"It's electrifying!" Jessie comments.

And James comments, "It's gratifying!"

And Meowth muffles, "I'm mummifying!"

"Wow! Now that we're getting a good look at it, it's even more beautiful!"

Misty: It sure is," Misty says.

"It's like a rainbow," Jen says.

Everyone is in awe, and soon turns to surprise as the light begins to fade.

"It's disappearing!" Tomo says.

"Let's see, I'll start with the Cerulean blue, or maybe the teal. Now, where's that aquamarine crayon?!" Mr. Gan Gogh continues to fumble to find the right colors, but the lights disappear .

"It's too late," Misty says.

"They're gone," Molly says.

"I've failed," Mr. Gan Gogh slumps

"You tried," Mew says.

Then the artist says in defeat, "First, I didn't have enough colors, zen I had too many! I didn't know vhere to begin, and now ze lights are gone."

And Nurse Joy says, "There's still hope, Mr. Gan Gough. Those lights were coming from directly above Remoraid Lake, and if you go there, you might find out what's been causing them."

"Yeah! And maybe we'll be able to see em again!" Mew says.

Then Jessie says, "We'll go along with you. Who knows what new discoveries we could make there?"

"If we dig down far enough, we can get to the bottom of this!" James says.

Then Mr. Gan Gogh says, "Zen I must go to Remoraid Lake at once."

Soon, Mew, her friends, the artist, and Team Rocket cross the landscape to reach Remoraid Lake

"It's as dry as a Dratini up here," James says, tired.

But Jessie says, "Just hang on. The lake can't be much further."

Soon, Tomo notices, "Hey, look there."

Everyone looks ahead to see green grass and more flowers from the abandoned village.

"More flowers!" Mew says.

Meloetta then floats to one of the flowers and sniffs it.

"It's getting greener as we go," Brock says.

The group continues searching long into the night.

"The lake should be past the top of the ridge," Brock says.

"It feels more like a fridge than a ridge," Jessie says.

"The desert's hot during the day, but when the sun goes down, so does the temperature," James says and lets out a sneeze, "I'm freezing."

Meowth muffles, "I'm cozy!"

Finally, everyone comes to a stop to find the dried up lake, and a giant tower.

"This is Remoraid Lake?" Jen asks.

"Yep, that's what the guidebook says. But it doesn't mention anything about that tower," Brock says.

"That thing is the size of a skyscraper!" Misty says.

Togepi and Sparkle agree.

"It looks like it's made out of crystal!" Jessie says.

"Yeah!" James replies.

"James, do you think it could be a humongous diamond? If it is, we'll all be rich!" Jessie says.

"Yeah!" Meowth agrees.

Team Rocket snicker as they sneak down into the lake bed to get a closer look of what they find.

And soon, Jessie begins to break it apart, "It looka like a diamond. Meowth, what do you think?"

Meowth licks it and muffles, "It's freezing!"

"It's just a big icicle!" James replies.

Meowth muffles, "So's my tongue."

"It's too bad it isn't valuable," Jessie says.

Then Meowth muffles, "Yeah, and it's too bad it isn't fish flavored, too."

Then Jessie tosses the piece of ice away.

Meowth muffles in a panic, "Hey! That thing could've been poison!"

"Well, if it were, we wanted you to be the first to know!" Jessie says.

"That's considerate," Meowth replies with a muffle.

"So, after all that, it was only a tower of ice that was causing those lights in the sky," Jessie says.

"Yeah," James replies.

Then Meowth muffles, "Too bad.

"Well, that's fine. if we can't get rich, we'll at least get that Pikachu and Eevee!" Jessie declares.

And her comrades agrees, "Yeah!"

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are trying to figure something out with the mysterious tower.

"There must be some connection between this tower and the colored lights," Misty says.

As the group marvels at the tower ic ice, James sneaks up behind our heroes wearing rubber gloves and snatches up little Pikachu and Eevee.

Pikachu and Eevee cry out, "Pika!/Eev! (Help!)

Mew quickly turns around, "Pikachu! Eevee!

"Well, look what we discovered!" Jessie says.

Who are you guys anyway?" Mew demands.

And soon, Jessie and James begin the motto.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble, you know our names!

James:

Hers is Jessie and mine is James!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation!

James:

To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above!

Then they both remove their disguise.

Jessie:

Jessie!

James:

James!

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!

Then Meowth breaks out of his disguise.

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

"It's Team Rocket!" Misty says.

Mew demands, "Gimme back Pikachu!

"Not without a battle, twerp-o!" Jessie says and calls out her Pokeball, "Go, Arbok!"

The Pokemon opens and releases Arbok

"If that's how you want it...!" Mew says.

But Mr. Gan Gogh stops her, "Hold on, Mew."

Then the artist approaches the baffled Team Rocket.

He then says, "I've waited many years to discover what causes the beautiful colors, I can't allow you to do anything that would prevent this lovely phenomenon." And gets out his Pokeball.

"Nice speech, grandpa, now why don't you run along and play with your box of crayons?" Jessie says.

Meowth snidely, "Yeah! Draw me something lovely!"

Team Rocket then begins laughing.

Mr. Gan Gogh looks at his Pokeball, "We haven't had to battle in quite a while, old friend, but we do now."

And out of the Pokeball is a Venusaur.

"A Venusaur!" Mew says, surprised

"That Venusaur must be as old as he is!" Jessie says, and calls out the attack, "Arbok, Tackle attack it!"

Arbok charges in.

Mr. Gan Gogh says, "Steady."

Venasaur agrees and stands its ground as Arbok lands the attack, but Venusaur simply shoves Arbok away with enough force for it to land on Team Rocket, forcing James to release Pikachu and Eevee in the process. Mew is able to catch her Pokemon in the nick of time.

"The nerve of that Venusaur!" James angrily says.

Then Jessie gets out her other Pokeball, "I say we attack it all together!"

"Yeah!" James and Meowth agree

Then Mr. Gan Gogh says to his Pokemon, "Solar Beam."

Venusaur agrees and charges the beam before firing it at Team Rocket, sending them flying.

Amazed, Mew says, "Mr. Gan Gogh, I didn't know you used to be a Pokemon trainer!

"I still am," Mr. Gan Gogh says, and calls back his Venasaur, "As a young man, I traveled extensively because I wanted to capture Pokemon, until I first saw the rainbow lights. That was when I realized this universe holds wonders even greater than the wonders of Pokemon."

That's kinda hard to believe, Mr. Gan Gogh," Mew says.

Then the artist says, "From the moment I saw those colors, all I wanted to do was capture them on canvas."

Soon, the sun begins to rise.

Tomo notices, "Here comes the sun!"

As the sun rises after the battle, the tower of ice sparkles, then water suddenly starts shooting out of the ground within the lake bed.

Brock turns to notice, "Hey! Look here!"

Everyone turns to see the water coming out from the ground.

": Where's the water coming from?" Jen asks, amazed.

"There's something moving down there!" Misty says.

Soon, a Remoraid soon pops up, firing a Water Gun.

"Remoraid!" Brock cries out.

"This sure is a surprise," Mew says.

And soon, a group of Remoraid appear and fire their Water Gun on the pillar.

"They're all using their Water Gun!" Tomo says.

"I wonder what they're doing," Molly wonders.

Then another Remoraid pops out and fires an ice beam at the pillar, followed by more until the pillar changes shape, amazing everyone.

And Brock says, "Now I get it, the Remoraid used Water Gun and Ice Beam to make that pillar of ice!"

"I never knew that so many water Pokemon could've lived in a dried up lake," Mew says.

"This is the chance of a lifetime for a water Pokémon trainer! I have to catch one of these things!" Misty says, excited and throws the Pokeball, "Go, Pokéball!"

However, the rest of the Remoraid gather around the targeted one and prevent its capture as the Pokeball is sent back to Misty.

"What happened? Did I do something wrong?" Misty asks, confused.

"So THAT's how they keep from getting captured! A Pokéball can't catch a whole group!" Brock says.

"That's pretty smart," Mew says.

Mr. Gan Gogh then says, "The legend about Remoraid must be true! They're difficult to capture because they all work together to protect one another."

Suddenly, a net is fired down at the lake and captures the whole school of Remoraid. Mew and the others look and see that it's Team Rocket, laughing in triumph in their balloon.

"So you thought! But you know, there's more than one way to catch a Pokemon!" Jessie says.

Then James says, "Why try to capture Remoraid one at a time when you can catch a whole bunch at once?!"

"Let's haul em in!" Meowth says.

Team Rocket begin to hoist the next as they chant, "Here come the Remoraid! Here come the Remoraid! Here come the Remoraid! Here come the Remoraid! Here come the Remoraid!"

"What can we do?" Misty asks.

"This isn't fair!" Brock says.

"We're gonna have to save them!" Mew says.

But Mr. Gan Gogh says, "Don't worry. I have a feeling that the Remoraid will be able to get away from those thieves very nicely on their own."

The Remoraid fire multiple Water Guns, sending them towards the balloon faster than Team Rocket had planned before busting the net itself to free themselves and poking a large hole in the balloon in the process, sending Team Rocket blasting off.

Team Rocket cries out, "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

"That did it!" Tomo says.

"Alright!" Mew, Misty, and Molly cheer.

The sun shines brightly on the pillar of ice, causing it to melt until the lake fills up more. As the pillar melts, the rainbow lights appear again.

Mew notices, "Look! The sky!"

"The lights! They were coming from Remoraid Lake all along!" Misty says.

"The water vapor that rises up from the melting ice must refract the rays of the sun and that's what creates the colored lights in the sky!" Brock says.

Mr. Gan Gogh happily says, "So that's it! The Remoraid created the beautiful rainbow lights!"

Soon, the water from the lake floods into the river downstream. Later, the group returns to the Pokémon Center watching the river and explaining the whole adventure to Nurse Joy

Nurse Joy says, "Now I understand what happened! The Remoraidians left when the waters dried up, but the Remoraid stayed behind! They burrowed into the lake bed and helped each other survive! Every twelve years, they use Water Gun and Ice Beam, flood the dry lake and rivers, swim away to replenish their water supply, and then come back to Remoraid Lake! Maybe someday, the water from these Remoraid will bring the green back to the mountains and get the rivers flowing again."

"All these years, I thought I was searching for wonders unrelated to Pokemon," Mr. Gan Gogh says, and chuckles, "Then found I was chasing Pokemon the whole time!"

"You never did get to make the picture you wanted," Mew replies.

"True, but, sometimes, we find things more valuable than those we search for," The artist says, "I only came here to make a picture of the beautiful lights I saw. But I will leave here with a wonderful experience that no picture could ever capture."

Soon, Mew and her friends are on the road again.

"Boy, Pokémon sure are mysterious, aren't they?" Misty says.

"You can say that again," Mew says.

The Pokemon agree.

"And they can be beautiful, too," Brock says.

"I agree," Jen says.

"Yeah," Molly says.

"It just shows that Pokemon are even more amazing," Tomo says.

"I agree," Mew says.

And once again, Mew and her friends have witnessed another wonder of the Pokemon world. And soon, they continue down the road with more wonders awaiting them.
