Episode 79: UnBEARable
Mew and her friends continue on their journey to Olivine City, and the next Johto League Gym. They soon find themselves passing through a heavily wooded forest.
"Pika," (Look at this place.) Pikachu says.
"Pikachu," (It's so...creepy.) Sparkle replies.
Misty turns to Brock, "Brock, this place is giving me the creeps. Are you sure it's safe?
"Not perfectly," Brock answers.
"Whaddya mean by that?" Mew asks.
"I read in the guidebook that some pretty scary Pokémon like to hang out in the woods here," Brock says.
"Scary Pokemon?" Tomo questions.
"Like what a Ghost or a Bug Type?" Misty asks.
Just then, a Spinarak soon drops down in front of Misty, startling her.
"Spinarak!" (Well, howdy do.) Spinarak says.
"It says, 'Well, howdy do.'" Mew translates.
The Spinarak goes back up its webline.
"That startled me," Misty says.
Mew then begins to wonder, "I wonder what kind of scary Pokémon the guidebook was talking about? Any ideas, Brock?"
"Eevee Eevee," (Elaborate here.) Eevee replies
"Maybe a Gengar. One that's really hungry and in a really bad mood," Brock suggests.
And Tomo suggests, "Or it could be a Snorlax that's very cranky because it didn't get its afternoon nap."
"No way. I'll bet it could be a bunch of creepy, crawly Ariados!" Misty says.
The group thinks about it.
"Well, standing around here thinking about it's not gonna get us anywhere. Might as well keep going," Mew says.
"We might as well," Brock says
"Yeah? Well, you go if you want to! I'm not going one step further in there!" Misty says.
"But Misty, it's the only way to get to Olivine City," Mew says.
Misty sighs, "I guess you're right."
"Besides, we might be able to find a place to stay the night," Mew says.
"I guess so," Misty says.
And with that, everyone heads off into the woods, unsure about the mysterious scary Pokemon lurking around.
Later that evening, Team Rocket is wearing yellow hardhats, and are walking along carrying picks after a hard day's work.
Meowth says, "I'm bushed. There's gotta be an easier way of making money than shoveling rocks and doit all day."
"I don't like the gravel pit, but if we save our pay, we can fund our secret weapons," Jessie says.
"But Jessie, so far, we've barely made enough to have your pick sharpened," James says.
Wobbuffet comes out of the Pokeball, "Wobbu, Wobbufett!" (Yeah, barely enough!)
"Jessie, I don't have the strength to deal with this today," James says.
And Jessie says, "I don't even have the strength to get angry."
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet replies.
And Jessie says, "Let's face it, James; we've literally and metaphorically hit rock bottom."
"We're even lower than a Bulbasaur's belly button," James adds.
"We outta be soaring higher than the stars, but instead we're down here scratching around in the doit," Meowth says.
"We better head back for the night shift," James says.
But Jessie cries out, "NO WAY! NOT FOR ME!" And tosses her pickaxe aside, "I wasn't made for labor!"
James and Meowth do the same.
"I wasn't made for labor either, especially if it's honest," Meowth says.
"I'm with you," James agrees.
Soon, Jessie looks and sees a cornfield in front of her, "A cornfield." Then says in a cheerful tone, "I have an idea!"
"Huh?" James replies, confused.
"I don't know what it is, but I bet it's corny," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, Mew and her friends are still walking in the woods.
"You know, we've been walking all day with no problem," Brock says.
"Yeah, we've been lucky, but it's getting dark. I guess we better start looking for a place to set up camp for the night," Mew says.
"We can't spend the night here, Mew. It's way too scary," Misty says.
Then Jen notices, "Hey, what's that!"
Everyone soon spots a cabin.
"It's a cabin," Molly says.
Mew opens the door and looks inside. Then calls out, "Anybody home? We need a place to stay!"
"Pika Pika! (Pardon the intrusion!) Pikachu calls out
"It doesn't look like anybody lives here," Brock says.
"We should stay here, guys. It's safer than sleeping out in the woods," Misty says
"Good idea," Mew says, "Let's get out our sleeping bags and get to bed."
Agreeing with the idea, everyone enters the cabin. But unknown to them, a figure with red eyes watches from the bushes.
Later in the night, everyone is ready for bed.
"Goodnight, guys. Goodnight, Pikachu. Goodnight, Eevee," Mew says.
Goodnight," Everyone replies.
When the light goes off, the figure steps out.
Inside, Misty wakes up and turns on the lantern, "Mew, wake up."
Mew wakes up, "What's wrong Misty?"
"Did you just hear a noise, Mew?" Misty asks.
"What kind of noise?" Mew questions.
The girls look over and see Brock talking in his sleep, saying, "Yes! Oh, yes, Nurse Joy. I love you, too!"
The girls look at each other as they cover their mouths with giggles.
"Maybe that's the noise you heard," Mew says.
But Misty says, "That's not the noise. The noise I heard was coming from outside."
"From outside?" Mew asks.
They soon hear rustling outside the door until Brock suddenly wakes up and scares the dickens out of them and everyone else.
"I was having a beautiful dream and all of a sudden, it turned into a horrible nightmare!" Brock says, cheeks blushing.
Misty glares at Brock, "Quiet, or I'll turn your life into a nightmare!"
"Okay," Brock says, meekly.
Molly yawns and asks, "What's going on?"
"What's all the racket?" Jen asks.
"Yeah. Why you woke us up?" Tomo asks.
"Sorry about that. You three go back to bed, Misty, Brock, and I are going to investigate something," Mew says.
Soon, Mew, Brock and Misty head outside to investigate.
What if it's one of the scary Pokémon from the guidebook?" Misty questions.
"I don't hear anything," Mew says.
"Maybe it was just the wind," Brock says.
Unknown to them, something slips back and hurries inside.
"Maybe," Misty says.
Soon, the three enter back inside.
Mew yawns, "Back to bed."
Misty soon looks and sees something under her blanket, prompting her to scream in fright. That causes everyone to wake up from their sleep.
"What is it now?" Mew asks.
Misty points to her blanket, "Something's crawling around under my blanket!"
"Under your blanket?" Mew questions.
Mew then removes the blanket to reveal a cute little bear-like Pokemon, sleeping in her bed, causing everyone to see the sleeping Pokemon.
"See?" Misty says.
"Hey, it's a Teddiursa," Mew says.
"Teddiursa?" Brock questions.
Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Teddiursa, the Little Bear Pokémon. A Normal Type. This cute, cuddly Pokémon is easily frightened and frequently licks its paws, which are usually covered with sweet honey.
Teddiursa soon wakes up and sticks its little claw in its mouth and shows a sparkle in his eyes.
"What. A. Cutie!" Misty says, and brings out her Pokeball, "I have got to capture it! Now!"
But Teddiursa's eyes swell up before it cries and runs to Misty, grabbing her leg.
Misty quickly puts the Pokeball away, "Don't cry. I won't catch you if you don't want me to."
Teddiursa looks up at Misty.
"It's okay. The bad Pokéball's gone!" Misty happily says, picking up the Pokemon into a hug, "Let's just be friends."
"Boy, that Teddiursa really knows how to turn on the charm," Mew says.
"Funny. I didn't know a Charm attack worked on humans," Brock says.
But while the gang isn't looking, Teddiursa gives a wicked smirk. The next morning…
"Hey!" Misty cries out.
Causing everyone to wake up.
Mew asks, "What is it this time?
"Psyduck let itself out again and ate both of the apples I had in my backpack!" Misty screams.
But Psyduck says, "Psyduck." (Wasn't me.)
"Yeah, so what? It was just two apples?" Tomo says.
"Misty, maybe that'll keep the doctor away for two days," Brock says.
"Besides, Psyduck said he didn't do it," Mew says.
Misty sighs, "Back you go, Psyduck." And calls Psyduck back to the Pokeball.
Then Teddiursa runs up to her,
"Hello!" Misty says and hugs the bear Pokemon, "How's my little Teddi-weddy today?"
The Teddiursa gives another wicked smirk while Misty and the others aren't looking. However, Mew suddenly notices before turning sweet and adorable. Mew rubs her eyes, thinking she had imagined it.
Meanwhile, with Team Rocket…
"Hey! Get your hot corn!" Jessie calls out.
James calls out, "Step right up here if you want a hot ear!"
It shows that Jessie and James selling roasted ears of corn to customers.
Jessie calls out, "Hot corn, fresh from the husk! Hurry up, folks, we're only here till dusk!" and hands a customer a bag of corn cobs, "Enjoy every kernel."
James happily says, "Wow! We're doing great, Jessie."
"With my charm and good looks, I can sell butter to a Butterfree," Jessie says.
Meowth pulls in a wagon of corn, "Well, here comes da new crop, kiddies!"
"Looks like quite a hefty harvest," Jessie says.
And James says, "Just think, Mother Nature does all the planting and we reap all the benefits."
"We can build great weapons with the money we make," Jessie says.
You said it," James agrees.
Suddenly, they hear Mew's voice, "Hey! What smells so good?"
Jessie and James look and see Mew and the others.
"They're selling fresh roasted corn up there!" Misty says.
James says, "It's those twerpy twerps!"
Quick. We can't let them recognize us!" Jessie quickly says.
Teddiursa soon points at the corn roasting on the stand.
Misty happily asks, "Are you hungry? Do you want some roasted corn, too, honey?"
The Teddiursa simply turns to Misty and uses Charm.
Misty happily says, "Cutie! How could I resist an adorable face like that?"
"You want some corn, too, guys?" Mew asks.
"Count me in," Brock says.
"I want some too," Tomo says.
"Us too," Jen and Molly reply.
Even the Pokemon agree.
The Pokemon agrees too.
Mew walks up to the stand and says, "I'll take thirteen of your biggest ears of corn, please."
"Sure, here you go," Jessie says and hands Mew a large bag of corn.
Then she notices, "A Teddiursa!"
Teddiursa then uses Charm on Jessie.
"You are... the cutie!" Jessie happily says, and hands Mew another ear of corn, "Here, have an ear on the house."
"Thanks, ma'am," Mew says.
Then the group take their leave as they enjoy their treat
Down below Meowth angrily says, "Hey, I had to haul that corn here all by myself! Don't be giving it away!" And kicks the back of Jessie's leg.
Jessie angrily says to Meowth, "I'll do exactly what I want to!"
"Those things must be rare and valuable," James says.
Then Jessie says, "They are. And once we earn enough, we'll build a new secret weapon and steal Pikachu, Eevee, and that little Teddiursa, too!"
Then she and James say, "Let's get back to work!"
And they head back to work to sell the corn.
Jessie calls out, "Fresh hot corn on a stick!
"The corn's great, and the schtick's not bad, either!" James calls out.
As Jessie and James continue to announce and bark, Teddiursa looks back at Team Rocket's wagon of corn and gets an idea.
Later on, Mew's group come across a lake.
"Hey, this looks like a really nice spot," Misty says.
"It looks perfect," Brock says.
"Okay. Come on out, guys!" Mew says, and calls out her Pokemon.
Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Bulbasaur,
"Too bad there isn't anything good for lunch today," Brock says.
"What do we have?" Jen asks.
"Only a big hunk of ham and a loaf of bread," Brock says.
"I have some tea, berries, and some water," Mew says.
"I also got some cookies," Jen says.
"Sounds great!" Misty says.
Teddiursa then gets a mischievous smile on its face.
Later, everyone is getting everything they need to prepare for lunch.
Misty calls out, "Hey, Brock! Could you help me carry some of this firewood?"
"Sure thing!" Brock says, and takes his leave.
After Brock leaves the table, Teddiursa makes its move. But Totodile spots it after surfacing from the lake and tries to tell Teddiursa not to eat the ham, but Teddiursa refuses to listen and eats the rest of the ham as Brock and Misty come back.
They soon hear Brock's voice, "I'm starving! Let's make those sandwiches now!"
As Misty and Brock return, Teddiursa puts the wrapper in Totodile's hand and cries out
Misty soon notices the situation, "Okay, Totodile, what did you do to poor Teddiursa?!"
Totodile just sits in shock as Teddiursa runs to Misty with tears in her eyes.
Misty comforts Teddiursa, "Are you okay, Teddy? Did Totodile scare you?"
Soon, the others show up.
"Hey, what's all the fuss about, here?" Tomo asks.
"Look what Mew's Totodile's got. It's the wrapper from our ham!" Misty says.
Soon, Brock notices, "Oh no! Now we don't have anything to make our sandwiches with!
And Misty says, "Teddiursa must've come along when Totodile was eating it and then got all upset. Is that right?"
Teddiursa confirms the story.
Mew turns to Totodile, "Is that what happened, Totodile?""
Totodile denies it did anything, as Teddiursa smirks with triumph, prompting it to confront Teddiursa.
But Misty scolds Totodile, "Totodile, you caused enough trouble already! We know you're the one who ate all the ham, now don't try to act like it was Teddiursa!"
But Mew says, "Just hold your Horsea a second. What makes you think Totodile's lying and Teddiursa's not?"
"Just look at the evidence! The ham's gone and Tododile's got the wrapper in its hand! How much more proof do you need?!" Misty says.
"Hmm, maybe so, but I know my Totodile, and Totodile will never steal. Just because you want to believe Teddiursa because it's cute, doesn't fully mean that it's the whole story," Mew says.
Misty becomes confused.
Then Mew says to Totodile, "I don't know if it's true about Teddiursa, but I believe that you would never steal."
That makes Totodile happy and jumps to Mew to give her a hug, happy that his trainer believes her. However, unknown to the others, Teddirusa has a scowl expression on its face.
Later, Mew and her friends are getting ready for lunch
"Smells good, huh, guy?" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee agree, (Smells delicious!)
At the table, the Teddiursa snatches some bananas as Togepi comes around and is about to eat them until Misty notices they're missing.
Confused, Misty asks, "Hey, where'd those bananas go?"
The Teddiursa tries to give the bananas to Togepi, but the playful Egg Pokemon playfully stuffs them in Teddiursa's mouth.
Misty turns her head, "Teddy, did you see a bunch of bananas on the table?"
The Teddiursa, with the bananas stuffed in its mouth, turns to Misty and denies it.
Misty thinks a bit, "Maybe Skwovet took em. He probably couldn't wait till lunchtime."
As Misty walks away, the Teddiursa swallows the bananas whole as Brock comes along and puts a bag of groceries on the table.
"Hey, Mew! How's that soup coming along?" Brock calls out as he walks away.
The Teddiursa sneaks the sausage links out of the bag, but Chikorita notices in time and tries to intervene, but the Teddiursa pushes her out of the way.
You sure you left them on the table?" Tomo asks.
"Yeah. Positive," Misty says.
"Well Skwovet has been playing with Meloetta and the other Pokemon, so it couldn't have been him," Jen says.
"Don't worry, Misty, I can run back to the Poke Mart and get some," Brock says as he walks towards the table.
He looks in the bag to find the sausage links are gone, "Hey. What happened to my sausages?"
"Togepi!" (Over there!) Togepi says, and points to the bushes.
Everyone looks and sees the sausages going into the bushes. In said bushes, Chikorita tries to make Teddiursa stop eating the food it stole, until Brock gives a tug on the rope of sausage links.
"I think we're in luck, guys. The food thief's at the end of these sausages!"
"Let's go!" Tomo says.
As Tomo speaks he Teddiursa wraps the sausages around Chikorita and cries out as Mew and her friends.
"What's going on here?" Jen asks.
This is hard to believe," Brock says, shocked.
"Chikorita stole them!" Misty says, shocked.
However, Mew is the only one who isn't convinced and a strange thought comes to her mind. First the apples are missing and Psyduck has been blamed. Then Totodile was accused after stealing the ham. And now, Chikorita is seen with the sausage links. What's more, Teddiursa has been seen in all of the scenes.
Mew eyes wide open in shock and something comes to her mind as she remembers the smirk on Teddiursa face, "Wait a minute… is it possible…"
Soon, Teddiursa runs to Misty.
Misty reassures Teddiursa, "Oh, and you were trying to stop it again, weren't you, Teddy honey?
The Teddiursa confirms, while Chikorita denies.
Is that what happened, Chikorita?" Mew asks.
Chikorita protests her innocence. And Mew notices the look in Chikorita's eyes.
Tomo then asks, "But you have to admit, this was suspicious.
Chikorita, filled with sadness and disbelief that she's being blamed, runs away
"Chikorita, wait!" Mew calls out, and runs after Chikortia.
"Mew, wait for us!" Misty calls out.
As everyone else runs off to follow Mew who is chasing Chikorita, Teddiursa smirks. Finally, Mew catches up with Chikorita, still heartbroken.
Mew kneels to Chikoirta, "Chikorita! Chikorita, if you say you didn't do it, I believe you, okay? It's all a mistake."
Chikortia then leaps into Mew's arms.
Mew smiles, "I knew you wouldn't steal or lie about anything, Chikorita."
Chikortia is in tears in joy that Mew believes her. Everyone soon smiles to see Chikorita is feeling better.
Mew turns to the others, "Hey guys, I think I know what's going on here, and it has something to do with Teddiursa.
"What made you see that?" Jen asks.
Before Mew can explain, Totodile runs over in a frantic state.
"Hey, what's the matter, Totodile?" Mew asks.
And soon, they hear Bulbasaur.
Back at the picnic table, Teddiursa is sneaking around in Brock's backpack, and the group manages to catch Teddiursa in the act)
"Teddiursa?" Molly says, confused.
"I wonder what it's looking for in my backpack," Brock replies.
Teddiursa soon comes out holding a loaf of bread and starts to eat it, the others gasp in shock, save for Mew, but Teddiursa then tries to pin the blame on Bulbasaur by shoving the bread into its mouth.
"I knew it! Teddiursa's the one who's been stealing food all along! And was blaming both Totodile and Chikorita for what it did! I bet it did the same thing to Psyduck this morning.
Totodile and Chikorita both confirm.
"We should've known Teddiursa wasn't protecting our food, it was the one who was stealing our food!" Brock says.
"And has been blaming Mew's Pokemon!" Tomo adds.
Misty is shocked in disbelief, "No way! My little Teddiursa would never do anything like that!"
Then runs to Teddiursa, "Teddy, please tell me you're not the one who's been stealing food."
Teddiursa uses Charm again.
Misty is easily swayed, "Cutie! How could I doubt a sweet face like that?"
"Misty, stop kidding yourself!" Tomo says.
"Yeah, Misty! Teddiursa's been lying to all of us!" Molly says.
"Tomo and Molly are right! We saw what Teddiursa did. It stole our food and was trying to frame our Pokemon, and you're still falling for its Charm!" Jen says.
"And it made a big mistake trying to frame my Pokemon for stealing," Mew says.
Then sternly says to the bear, "You may have fooled us before…"
"But now we're all on to your fake cutesy-poo act!" Brock says.
Seeing the Charm is not working on them anymore, Teddiursa snatches Brock's backpack and runs away.
Brock cries out, "Hey, that's mine!"
Mew and her friends pursue the Teddiursa, but it swerves to hide in some bushes.
"This way!" Tomo calls out.
"Teddiursa!" Molly calls out.
Soon, Teddiursa makes its getaway.
Meanwhile, at Team Rocket's corn stand…
Jessie laughs triumphantly, "We made a bundle today!"
"We sold a ton of hot corn and we still got tree ears left for us to chow down on!" Meowth says.
"We've got it made!" James says.
Jessie soon hears something, and when she looks in the empty corn cart, she and her teammates find Teddiursa and Brock's backpack.
James notices, "Say! I think this is the same Teddiursa we saw with the twerps."
"I wonder what it's doing here," Jessie says.
Then Teddiursa says, "Teddiursa." (I couldn't stand being with those lame-o losers no more.) and hops on the cart.
"That makes sense. It says it couldn't stand being with those lame-o losers no more," Meowht says.
Teddiursa says, "Teddiursa." (But I was too lonesome being all by myself)
"But it says it was too lonesome being all by itself, so it wants to be your Pokemon," Meowth says.
Then Teddiursa then uses Charm again.
"Cutie! Adorable!" Jessie happily says, easily swayed.
"Teddiursa!" (I've got a secret!) Teddiursa says.
Our little friend's got a big secret," Meowth says.
"Teddiursa!" (There's a forest nearby with a zillion apple trees!)
"There's a forest nearby with a zillion apple trees in it," Meowth translates.
James happily says, "Ah!
"We'll get into the apple business," Jessie happily says.
Apples should sell like hot cakes!" James agrees.
But when Team Rocket turns back to the Teddiursa, they find it's gone.
"Meowth, where's that Teddiursa?" Jessie asks.
"It was standing right here," Meowth says.
They soon turn and see Teddiursa taking the last three ears of corn and putting them into Brock's backpack.
James exclaims, "That scuzzy little fuzzy-wuzzy's stealing our lunch!"
The Teddiursa uses Charm again.
"I know. But it's so cute, I don't care!" Jessie says, swayed by the cuteness.
But James says, "Open up your eyes, Jessie!"
"Dat ting's crookeder den we are!" Meowth says.
Suddenly, someone comes rushing up angrily shouting, "There you are! You're them dirty varmints what stole the corn off of my farm!"
Team Rocket panics, "Let's get out of here!"
Meanwhile, back in the woods, Mew and the others are still looking for Teddiursa)
"That Teiddursa could be miles away from here right now,"
"Yeah, if it wasn't just the food, I wouldn't care so much. But I had the guide book and other important stuff in that backpack," Brock says.
"We better keep looking, then," Mew says.
"But where else can we look?" Molly asks.
Soon, Misty spots something, "Hey, look! There's a Pokémon Center over there!"
"Maybe Nurse Joy knows something that can help us find that Teddiursa," Brock says.
Mew agrees, "Come on, let's go and see."
Soon, inside the Pokemon Center, Mew and the others explained what happened to Nurse Joy.
And Nurse Joy is shocked, "Oh, no! That's the third report of a backpack theft we've had this week!"
Brock quickly approaches the nurse, "Nurse Joy, perhaps you and I can search for this thief and, in the process, discover true love."
Misty then yanks Brock away by the ear, "Knock it off or you're going to discover true pain."
Then Mew asks, "Did anybody else who had their backpack stolen mention a Teddiursa?"
"Yes," Nurse Joy answers with a nod.
Then questions, "Was the Teddiursa you met extra cute, extra cuddly and sweet as could be?"
"That's my Teddiursa!" Misty happily says.
But Nurse Joy says, "And that's how it fools everybody, I'm afraid."
"Guess I got fooled, too," Misty says, sheepishly.
"It's alright Misty, we were all fooled by it," Tomo says.
"True, but Mew ends up getting wise to it," Misty says, and turns to Mew, "That's what you were going to tell us, huh?"
"Yeah," Mew says, "Wherever food goes missing, Teddiursa wasn't far away. It made me realize that Teddiursa has been using its Charm to sway us while it steals food from us. Not wanting to get caught, it's been trying to plant evidence to make it look like our Pokemon did it."
Misty sadly sighs, "And I was so captivated by its charm, I believed Teddiursa and only listened to its side of the story."
"I'm afraid so," Mew says, "I think you owe Totodile and Chikorita an apology.
Totodile and Chikorita agree.
Misty then turns to the Pokemon, "Totodile, Chikorita, I apologize."
"I never guessed the scary Pokémon I heard about in the guide book was Teddiursa," Brock says.
"I agree, Brock. You never suspect that under all that cuteness lies a sinister personality," Mew says.
"That is scary," Tomo says.
"Something has to be done to stop that Teddiursa. I think it would be best if we all look for it together," Nurse Joy says.
Meanwhile, Teddiursa is seen eating the ears of corn it stole from Team Rocket by the river. Suddenly, a net drops down on it. It reveals that the neet is front Team Rocket in the Balloon. They begin to perform the motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, Teddiursa!
James:
Make it double, things are gonna get worser!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all people within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of Light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Wobbuffet:
WOBB-UFFET!
(That is right!)
Meowth: (shoves Wobbuffet down)
Ha! Dat's right!
"Well, now. Think you can lie to us and get away with it? Guess again!" Jessie says.
But Teddiursa uses its claws to slashes its way free.
Jessie clenches her fist, "We'll have to do this the hard way, then!" and throws her Pokeball, "Arbok, go!"
Arbok comes out of the Pokeball.
James does the same, "Victreebel, get ready to attack!"
Victreebel comes out of the Pokeball and next to James, but ends up trying to eat James inside.
James cries out, Wait! Not a snack attack!"
Jessie calls out the first attack, "Hurry, Arbok, use your Poison Sting!"
Arbok fires the attack, but Teddiursa blocks each stinger, surprising both Jessie and Arbok before it uses Slash to take out Arbok and send it flying into Jessie.
James calls out, "Victreebel, use your Razor Leaf attack!"
Victreebel launches the attack, but Teddiursa blocks it, too. It then uses Slash to take out Victreebel and send it flying into James.
It looks like a twoip, but it ain't playing around," Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet!" (I'd say so!) Wobbuffet says.
Then Teddiursa then uses Swift to make a hole in the balloon, sending Team Rocket blasting off
Team Rocket cries out, "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
As Team Rocket screams, Mew and the others are still looking for Teddiursa)
Nurse Joy says, "Other trainers have told me that they spotted Teddiursa right around here someplace."
Soon, Team Rocket soars past, catching Mew and her friends' attention.
"Was that Team Rocket?" Molly asks
"It sure sounded like Team Rocket!" Brock says.
"What happened to them?" Jen asks.
Then Nurse Joy notices, "Isn't that Teddiursa sitting right there?"
Everyone looks and sees that Nurse Joy's right, and Teddiurssa is sitting right now.
"Yeah, and there's Brock's backpack, too," Mew says.
Everyone heads towards Teddiursa.
"You caused a lot of trouble!" Mew angrily says.
Misty feels the same, "Yeah! What do you have to say for yourself, now?!"
Teddiursa tries using Charm again.
"Cutie!" Misty says. But quickly snaps out of it, "I mean, bad Teddiursa!"
"Give back Brock's backpack, you thief!" Tomo demands.
Meoetta and Skwovet then say, "Right now!
But Teddiursa just takes out some bread and eats, causing everyone to be shocked and angry.
"That stinks," Misty says.
"It isn't even ashamed that it's a liar!" Brock says.
Totodile tries to confront it, but Chikorita steps in.
Mew agrees, "Alright, go get it, Chikorita! Use your Tackle attack!"
Chikorita charges in to use Tackle, but Teddiursa dodges and uses Swift.
Teddiursa's using its Swift attack!" Brock says, shocked.
"Hang in there, Chikorita!" Mew calls out.
Teddiursa closes in and uses Slash, sending Chikorita flying.
Mew calls out, "You can beat it, Chikorita! Try your Vine Whip!
Chikorita does so, but Teddiursa uses Double Team to avoid it.
"Now Teddiursa's using its Double Team!" Misty says
Teddiursa soon strikes.
Mew calls out, "Easy, Chikorita! I know a way we can find the real Teddiursa! Send a whole wave of Razor Leaf!"
Chikorita does so, eventually finding the real Teddiursa.
"We found the real one!" Mew calls out, "Now tackle it, Chikorita!
Chikorita charges and the attack lands, knocking Teddiursa down.
"Great job, Chikorita!" Brock cheers.
"Teddy's down and out!" Misty says.
"Chikorita!" Mew happily says, and Chikortia, jumps into Mew's arms, "I knew you could do it, Chikorita."
Then Brock takes back his backpack, "I believe this is mine."
Just then, Teddiursa soon starts to glow
"Look, something's happening!" Misty says.
"I think it's evolving," Mew says.
The glow soon fades to reveal a newly evolved Ursaring.
"Teddiursa evolved!" Tomo says.
"It's an Ursaring!" Brock says in a panic.
Ursaring gets up, and with one yawn.
Molly giggles, "Looks like it's waking up."
"Yeah. I think we should get going," Mew says.
"Yeah," Jen says.
And with that, everyone rushes off before Ursaring fully wakes up.
Later that evening…
"I guess it's a good thing that Teddiursa evolved into Ursaring, Nurse Joy," Misty says.
"Yes, maybe now it'll be able to find food instead of stealing it," Nurse Joy says.
"I think it's gonna have to, Nurse Joy," Brock replies.
Misty agrees, "It won't be able to Charm anybody."
"And most aren't gonna cuddle an Ursaring," Mew says.
Even the Pokemon agree.
"Well, good luck, everyone, and take care of yourselves," Nurse Joy says.
Soon, the group of friends take their leave as they say goodbye. With the case of the troublemaking Teddiursa solved, the gang return to the road, headed for the next stop on their Johto journey.
Later that night, Team Rocket is seen making popcorn.
"It's too bad that farmer caught up with us," Jessie says.
"And made us give him all the money we made," James says.
"Now all we got left is a pot of popcorn with out any butter," Meowth adds.
Soon, they hear rustling in the bushes, and Ursaring pops up.
Team Rocket screams in fright, "An Ursaring!"
Ursaring calmly approaches.
And Meowth says, "Hey, maybe this Ursaring's lonesome and wants to be our Pokemon."
Surprisingly, Ursaring uses Charm on Team Rocket.
"I, guess we could work something out," Jessie replies.
"Would you like to try some nice, fresh popcorn?" James asks.
Ursaring agrees.
"It's nice to find a Pokémon you can trust!" Meowth says.
Team Rocket chants with excitement, "We got a new friend, Ursaring!"
While dancing, Ursaring lets out a sly menacing grin, obviously still keeping to its manipulating personality and still thinking it's a Teddiursa.
