Episode 80: Moving Pictures
Mew and her friends continue on their journey to the Olivine City Gym. They look to see the dark clouds in the sky.
"The sky's getting dark. You think it's gonna rain?" Misty replies.
"Sure looks like it," Mew says.
Suddenly, they hear something.
"Hey, what's that sound?" Jen asks.
They soon turn to the right.
"It sounded like a camera shutter," Brock says.
Everyone looks and is surprised at what they're seeing.
"Look!" Brock says.
"Pika!" (It's him!) Pikachu says.
To Mew, Misty, Brock, and Tomo's surprise, they see their old friend Todd.
"Hey! Is that our old friend, Todd?" Tomo asks, excited.
Todd turns to see his friends.
"Hi Todd!" Mew calls out.
Todd happily says, "Mew, Misty, Brock, and Tomo too."
Even Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, Skwovet, and Meloetta happily say hello to Todd.
Soon, everyone approaches Todd.
"Hey, Todd. Good to see you again," Brock says.
"How are you doing, Todd?" Misty asks.
"I'm doing great," Todd says, "And it's really great to see all of you guys again."
"I know. It's been a while, hasn't it?" Mew says.
And remembers the last time they've seen Todd. Back in Kanto Todd has traveled with them for a short while, but go their separate ways. Mew and her friends head off to Cinnabar Island for Mew's Gym Battle while Todd heads to the mountains to take pictures.
Todd soon notices, "And it really had been a while because you got some new friends."
"Hello Todd, my name is Jen, and this is Amura," Jen says
"I'm Molly, it's nice to meet you," Molly says.
"And this is my Pikachu, Sparkle," Misty says.
"It's nice to meet you," Todd says.
Then Misty asks, "So what's up, Todd? Still taking lots of Pokémon pictures?
"You bet!" Todd says, and takes out his album to see the Pokemon photos, "Just check these out! Isn't this Bellsprout cute? And look at the sad expression on that Gloom's face. That Weepinbell really cracks me up. And look at this happy little Hoppip I found."
"You sure have got a lot of talent, Todd," Brock says.
"It looks like you've been concentrating on taking grass Pokémon," Misty notices.
"Yep. I bet I have one of the most complete collections of candid grass Pokémon pictures in the whole world. But, what I really want for my album is a shot of an Articuno," Todd explains.
Everyone is surprised to hear it.
"An Articuno? One of the Legendary Birds?" Tomo asks.
Mew giggles, "Yeah. I remember we first met one back on the Orange Islands around Shamouti."
"How can we forget that?" Misty replies with a smile.
"Really? You met an Articuno?" Todd asks, amazed.
"Yeah. It's a long story," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.
Dexter says, "Articuno, the Freeze Pokémon. An Ice and Flying Type. This Legendary Pokémon, with wings like thin sheets of ice, is believed to possess the ability to freeze water vapor and create snow."
"Wow," Mew says, "And to think we actually saw one for really real."
"Indeed," Todd says, "In fact, yesterday, a kid told me some people in the village nearby said that they saw an Articuno!"
"Really?" Mew says. Then has an idea, "Hey, why don't we try to see if we could spot one, too?"
Misty happily says, "I'd love to see one again!"
"Me too!" Tomo says.
"Me three!" Jen says.
"I'd love to see one, too!" Brock says.
"I want to meet one too," Molly says.
Even the Pokemon agree, but suddenly, snow begins to fall from the sky.
Eevee is the first to react, "Eevee?" (What was...?)
"What's the matter, guys? Something wrong?" Mew asks.
Pikachu points up, "Pika!" (Look up!)
Everyone looks up to see a blue light flying through the sky.
"Hey! A shooting star!" Tomo says.
"A Shooting star?" Jen questions.
"I don't think so," Misty says.
Then Brock says, "It looks like a meteor!"
"It's coming right this way!" Mew says, shocked.
"Hey, maybe it's that Articuno. I gotta get a shot of this!" Todd says.
Mew cries out, "Todd, look out!"
Mew dives in and pushes Todd out of the way just in time as the object crashes and makes a crater in the ground.
"Wow. That was a close call," Brock says.
"Maybe that thing really WAS a meteor," Misty says.
"Well, it definitely wasn't an Articuno," Todd says.
"Well, it's way too little to be a meteor," Mew says.
The dust fades to reveal it's a frozen Pokemon.
"Oh no…" Molly says.
"It's a Pokemon," Jen says.
"And it's frozen in ice," Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex, "Let's see."
Dexter says, "Sunkern, the Seed Pokémon. A Grass Type. Sunkern drink the dew that collects from beneath leaves. It is believed that it neither eats nor drinks anything else."
"But why was it flying through the sky and why is it frozen in ice?" Misty asks.
"I don't know, but we've gotta do something!" Brock says. Then rushes over and wraps the frozen Sunkern in a blanket, "There's not much time!"
"I just passed a lodge, we can take it there!" Todd says.
"Great! Let's go!" Brock says.
Everyone rushes off, unaware that Team Rocket was watching them.
"Dem twerps have all da luck! Now dey got dere hands on a cool, new Pokémon," Meowth says.
"Chill out!" Jessie says, "When we capture Pikachu and Eevee, we'll capture that thing, too."
"Sounds nice," Meowth says.
"We'll get two for one! Sounds like fun!" James says.
"Come on, team! Let's stay on their tail!" Jessie says.
Then the three follow Mew and her friends.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others are hurrying as fast as they can to rescue the frozen Sunkern.
"Just hang in there, Sunkern!" Brock says to the frozen Pokemon.
Soon, they see the lodge in the distance.
"There! That's the lodge!" Todd says.
Everyone rushes over to the lodge to see an elderly woman sweeping in front.
"Hello!" Brock calls out.
The woman turns to see them, "My, you all seem in a hurry. Can I help you with something?"
"We just found this Sunkern and it's frozen solid!" Brock says, showing the Pokemon in distress.
"Oh, that's just terrible," The woman says in concern, "Let's go inside and see what we can do."
Soon they enter the lounge.
"Don't you worry, Sunkern. We're gonna get you warmed up in no time," Brock says.
"I don't understand how a Sunkern could've gotten frozen like that," Misty says.
"Yeah, and where did it come from in the first place?" Todd questions.
"This shouldn't take long," The elderly woman says, and pots a basin on the table, "There. Now just set it down in the basin."
"Right," Brock says, and does just that as he removes the blanket as the woman pours a hot amount of water into the basin.
"Yeah. A nice, hot bath oughta defrost Sunkern," Mew says.
Soon, the defrost treatment starts to work.
"The ice is melting away!" Brock says.
"It's almost gone," The elderly woman says.
Soon, the Sunkern regains consciousness, and is no longer blue.
Todd happily says, "It's alive! I guess the ice only slowed down its metabolism.
"Yeah," Tomo happily says.
"Thank goodness," Misty says.
"It looks like it's just fine, now," Brock says.
Sunkern starts singing in the water.
"Aww. Isn't that cute?" Molly happily replies.
"Yeah. Sunkern sounds like it's singing in the bathtub," Misty says.
"If its voice is warmed up, the rest of it must be warmed up, too," The woman says.
Then Brock says, "We never introduced ourselves. I'm Brock and these are my friends."
"My name's Misty, ma'am," Misty says.
"Mew's my name," Mew says.
"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.
"Jen is my name," Jen says.
"And I'm Molly," Molly happily says.
And lastly Todd, "And my name's Todd.
The woman introduces herself, "My name's Sophia. And I'm so pleased that I could help this Sunkern. Especially because everybody knows this place as the Sunflora Lodge."
"Then we came to the perfect place," Mew says.
"We sure did. Sunkern are the pre-evolved form of Sunflora, right?" Brock says.
"That's right," Sophia says, "And the reason we call this the Sunflora Lodge. Oh, well, that's a very long, complicated story. And I'm pretty sure you young people wouldn't be interested in listening to an old lady reminisce."
And soon enough, the tea and goodies are placed on the table.
"Of course, it is rather interesting and I could tell you if you insist," Sophia happily says.
Everyone let out sweat drops.
"We're stuck now," Todd says in thought.
Mew says in thought, "She's getting ready to tell her whole life's story.
Misty adds in thought, "We'll be here forever."
"Wonder if she has any string cheese," Brock adds in thought.
Then Molly happily says, "We'd love to hear your story, wouldn't we?
"Sure, we're all ears," Everyone agrees.
"Well, if you insist, I suppose I can't say no. Well, let's see, it all started 50 years ago," Sophia says.
She then begins to explain her story, "I had a sweetheart, Marcello. He was leaving to work in another town, just for a few months. And then we were to be married. And so, I waited. The seasons past, but my Marcello never returned. But still, I waited. What I didn't know was that Marcello was in the hospital, he had been in a terrible accident and had been unconscious for months. Still, day after day, week after week, I waited. Hoped. Finally I got the letter I'd been waiting for."
Sophia continues, "I remember exactly what it said; 'My darling Sophia, please forgive me. I will be passing by the lodge tomorrow. If you are married or in love with another, I wish you happiness.' But, if you will still have me, stand a Sunflora in front of the lodge and I will know." Without a moment's hesitation, I ran right out and asked every Pokémon trainer I could find if they had a Sunflora."
At the flashback, Marcello is on, and the young man sees a whole field of Sunflora to his right, and his beloved standing amongst them.
Marcello: Sophia!
Sophia: My Marcello!
Marcello: My darling!
Sophia continues, "We married and lived so happily, for a time. You see, the accident had weakened Marcello. And all too soon, my love was gone. Forever."
Once Sophia is finish with her story, everyone is in tears
"It's so sad, but I'm so happy I heard it," Misty says.
"Someone took a picture of us on that first day with the Sunflora," Sophia says, and shows them the photo, "That was what we looked like, exactly fifty years ago today."
"You sure looked pretty back then," Brock says,
Meanwhile, up in the attic, Team Rocket has been listening in and are also in tears.
"I'm, completely overcome," Jessie says.
James muffles, "That was the most touching thing I ever heard!"
"Yuh said it, pal. If dat lady talked in Spanish just like dat Dawha goil down dere, dey could toin a life story into a telenovela," Meowth says.
Back in the living room.
"I'm glad you told us your story," Misty says.
Then Brock says, "Yeah, but please don't tell us again."
I guess you must miss your husband a whole lot," Tomo says.
Soon, laughter is heard as everyone looks at a chair on the back porch and finds someone sitting in it.
As the voice says, "Not as much as you'd might expect, sonny. Not nearly as much. But she sure can tell a whale of a tale, can't she?"
Everyone becomes puzzled.
"Who are you?" Jen asks.
The elderly man walks in and says, ""I hate to disappoint you all, but my name is Marcello."
Everyone is in shock.
Marcello then says, "I guess I should apologize for my wife. Sophia loves romance stories and she just loves to put herself and me in them."
"What you think of today's story, Marcello?" Sophia asks
"It had me tearing up," Marcello says.
Both of them laugh.
"If you can't trust a little old lady, who can you trust?" Tomo mutters
"Skwovet," (Beats me.) Skwovet replies.
Todd takes the photo, "This is an interesting picture. Are those Sunflora real?"
"Oh, yes," Sophia says, "The Sunflora have come here for years and years because of the weather."
"It's always been warm up on the south slope this time of year, so lots of Sunflora spend the winter there," Marcello adds.
"When we first got married, we went and we had our picture taken with the Sunflora and we've done it once a year for forty-nine years," Sophia says as she shows Mew and the others the album of her and Marcello. And each of them have the two couples for a large group of Sunflora.
Todd is amazed, "Wow! These are amazing!"
"There must be hundreds of Sunflora there," Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee agree
And Brock says, "This year will be your golden anniversary."
"That should make an extra special picture," Misty says.
The elderly couple frown upon hearing what Misty says.
"Yes, well…" Sophia says, sounding sad.
"Hundreds of Sunflora," Todd says, and gets excited, "That'd look great. I'm a photographer and I'd love to be the one to take your golden anniversary picture for you.
But Marcello says, "I'm afraid there won't be a picture this year."
"What do you mean?" Jen asks.
Don't you want one?" Todd asks.
"We'd love one, but for some reason, the south slope's been unusually cold this year," Sophia explains.
Then Marcello says, "For the first time in fifty years, there hasn't been a single Sunflora on the south slope."
"You mean, they're just gone?" Brock asks.
"It would've been kinda nice to see all the Sunflora," Misty says.
"Yeah," Molly says.
Then Todd says, "We should go up to the south slope and take your anniversary picture anyway."
Marcello and Sophia looked at him with surprise.
Sophia then turns to her husband, "It is our anniversary tradition, Marcello."
"You're right," Marcello agrees, "Sunflora or no Sunflora, we should still go up to the slope and have our picture taken."
"Great idea," Tomo says.
"Hey, maybe my Sunflora and Mew's Sunflora can be in the picture too?" Jen suggests.
"Great idea," Mew says.
Then turns to the others, "We'll go, too! Right, guys?"
"Right!" Everyone agrees.
Soon, everyone is outside the lodge.
"Well, are you all ready to go, everyone?" Marcello asks.
"Ready!" Everyone says.
Misty turns to Brock and asks, "Brock, how come you're bringing the Sunkern with you?"
"The Sunkern's the pre-evolved form of Sunflora. It might be able to find just what happened to em," Brock says.
"Good idea, Brock," Mew says.
And with that, Todd begins to position for a photo, "Okay, hold it, guys. I want to get a bon voyage shot." and take a picture, "Perfect!"
"Well, let's get going!" Marcello
Unknown to the group, Team Rocket watches from the lodge roof.
"This could be our big break!" Jessie says.
James says, "While they focus on the Sunflora, Pikachu and Eevee will be unprotected."
"Get ready, heroes, because tings are gonna get really flaky," Meowth says.
Then Team Rocket snicker with grins on their faces.
Mew and her friends begin to walk up the hill with Sophia and Marcella.
"Well, everyone, it's right up there! That's the south slope," Sophia says.
"Just a few weeks ago, the slope was covered with so many Sunflora you couldn't count them all," Marcello says.
"Wow," Todd says and looks through his camera, "It's really cold and gloomy up here, now. No wonder the Sunflora don't come here anymore."
Soon, snow starts falling from the sky.
And Todd notices,"Hey, it's starting to snow!"
The others notice it as well.
"It is snowing," Molly says.
"This reminds me of the first time Marcello and I crossed the bridge to come up here in the winter," Sophai happily says, and remembers the cold day, and when she almost fell off the bridge.
Marcello: Sophia!
Sophia: Marcello!
Marcello: Don't worry, my darling Sophia, no matter what happens, I'll never let you go!
Sophia: Marcello, you must let me go! If you don't, we may both perish! Please!
Marcello: I won't let you go! Without you, Sophia, my life wouldn't be worth living!
Marcello musters all his strength to pull his bride to safety.
Sophia: Marcello!
Marcello: Sophia.
Sophia: Marcello.
Flashback ends:
Soon, Marcello hugs Sophia, "Sophia."
Marcello," Sophia says.
Most of the group is already in tears.
"What a great ending," Jen says.
"Love is stronger than anything," Misty says.
Just then, Brock says, "Hey, if you crossed a bridge to get here, how come we didn't cross one?"
"You caught me," Sophia says.
And Marcello says, "The story's actually true, but it didn't actually happen to us."
"I saw it happen on one of those reality shows," Sophia says.
"Fooled me," Misty replies.
"I can't believe I believed the old lady again," Tomo says.
Meloetta and Skwovet agree, even Pikachu, Eevee, Amura, and Sparkle.
"Wow, it's starting to come down a lot heavier, guys," Todd says.
"This weather's weird, it's too early for snow," Brock says.
"You're right. It's not even winter yet," Mew says.
"I wonder if there's a connection between the weather and whatever made the Sunflora freeze," Misty says.
Suddenly, a machine comes in blowing out snow.
Mew notices something ahead, "Hey, look! That machine! That's what's making the snow!"
"Who'd do such a thing?" Marcello questions.
Just then, Team Rocket begins to motto as they ski jump over the snow hill.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, we couldn't be prouder!
James:
We just made a foot of brand new powder!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all people within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Then they land in front of the machine with their Team Rocket initial on it.
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of Light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Then Meowth jumps in between the two humans.
Meowth:
Meowth, dat's white!
"It's Team Rocket!" Mew calls out.
"I didn't think your three losers would be around!" Todd says.
"Well, our little photo boy sure has a negative attitude!" James says.
And Jessie says, "Go invest a dark room, shutter bug!"
"Wobb-uffet!" (Good one, Jess!) Wobbuffet says
"Speaking of bugs, bug off," Jessie says with a frown.
"Alright, a Wobbuffet!" Todd says and begins to take pictures, "This is gonna be great!"
Then Jessie gets into the frame, "What are you shooting, a horror picture?!"
Then announces, "Begin the assault!"
"We'll blitz them with our blizzard machine and snatch Pikachu and Eevee from the snow!" James says.
"All systems go!" Meowth says and presses a button on the remote.
Soon, the machine starts to blow snow at the group.
"Try to hang on, guys!" Mew calls out.
Just then Sophia turns to her husband, "Remember the last time we were caught in a storm like this, darling?"
Sophia has another flashback to that moment, and soon collapses in the snow.
Marcello: Sophia! Sophia, speak to me!
Sophia: I can't go on, Marcello. Go on without me.
Marcello: Sophia! Stay awake, you can't go to sleep! Sophia! Sophia!
Flashback Ends:
Misty then says, "That's a real nice story, but there's no way we'll believe you this time."
"But don't you want to hear the end of it?" Marcello questions.
"In the spring, a forest ranger finds us frozen in two intertwined blocks of ice," Sophia says.
"I don't know if you two have noticed, but what Ben said is right. We're getting attacked here," Misty points out.
Jessie and James chant, "Turn it up! Turn it up!"
Soon, everyone is practically buried in snow.
James cheers, "Yay! Everything in sight is white!"
"But now we can't find Pikachu or Eevee!" Jessie points out.
"Well, it must be around here somewhere," James says.
Jessie turns to Meowth, "Don't just stand there, turn off the snow."
"Alright, Frosty!" Meowth says, and turns off the machine.
Soon, everton resurfaces from the snow.
Jessie and James soon happily say, "Ah, Pikachu and Eevee!"
Both Pokemon try to release their attack, but can't due to the snow
"Pikachu! Eevee!" Mew calls out in concern.
Then Mew throws her Pokeball, "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"
Soon, Bulbasaur comes out of his Pokeball, "Quick, Bulbasaur, demolish that snow machine with your Solar Beam!"
Bulbasaur charges his bulb for the attack.
Just then, Jessie says, "Meowth, turn on the snow and bury Bulbasaur!"
"Make up your mind, I'm gettin' finger fatigue," Meowth replies in a blunt tone and activates the machine
And soon, Bulbsaur is buried under the snow.
"Bulbasaur got snowed!" Mew exclaims in shock.
Then Jessie calls out, "Arbok, let's get that Pikachu and Eevee! And throws her Pokeball.
Arbok comes out, charges, and snags Pikachu and Eevee in its coils.
Pikachu cries out," Pika!" (Let go!)
"Eevee Eevee Eevee," (Let us go, you overgrown Caterpie!) Eevee cries out.
"Poor Pikachu!" Misty says.
"Poor Eevee!" Jen replies, worried.
"We got you both now!" Jessie says.
"It just proves that there's no job like a snow job!" James says.
"And when it comes to snow, I'm the Abominable Snow Meowth," Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet!" (But less hairy!) Wobbuffet replies.
"Now, Arbok, bring Pikachu and Eevee here please," Jessie calls out.
And with that, Arbok slithers back to its master with the two Pokemon in tow.
"Pikachu Eevee!" Mew calls out.
Bulbasaur tries to get up.
"You did a great job, Arbok!" James calls out.
However, Bulbasaur is unable to get up from the snow.
"Bulbasaur's stuck!" Mew calls out in concern.
"Bulbasaur wants to help, but it can't! It's stuck in the snow and it's nearly frozen!" Brock says.
Just then, Sunkern then hops into action.
"Sunkern, don't!" Brock cries out.
"Come back, Sunkern!" Molly calls out.
The little Sunkern then surprises everyone by using Sunny Day, causing the sun to shine and melt the snow.
"Sunkern's Sunny Day attack!" Brock says.
"And it's melting the snow!" Jen adds.
"What's going on?" Jessie asks, stunned.
Soon, the snow melts and Bulbasaur is free along with everyone else.
And Team Rocket notices, "Look! Bulbasaur!"
"Okay, use your Solar Beam, Bulbasaur!" Mew calls out.
Bulbasaur launches Solar Beam and destroys Team Rocket machine as they flee, while Arbok drops Pikachu and Eevee.
"Pikachu, Eevee, are you both okay?" Mew asks.
"Eevee Eev," (We're okay.) Eevee answers.
"Pika!" (Just fine!) Pikachu says.
"Now let's take care of Team Rocket!" Mew says.
Pikachu and Eevee agree and charge for the attack
"Here comes that blasting off feeling again," Jessie says, knowing what's coming next.
"Meowth, let's get out of here!" James cries out.
"Yuh got it!" Meowth says and presses the button.
Then the Team Rocket Balloon shows up, and flies away in it.
"We could stay and battle, but we'll let you slide this time," Jessie says.
"Speaking of sliding, watch your step!" James says.
"It's kinda icy," Meowth says.
"Stay cool, heroes!" Team Rocket calls out.
Then Mew calls out, "Bye-bye, guys!" Then turns to her Pokemon, "Eevee, Pikachu, give em a Thunderbolt!"
The two then fire their attack, and the balloon is destroyed, sending Team Rocket flying.
"Pikachu and Eevee got away!" Meowth says.
"I thought we'd win today!" Jessie whines.
"It always rains on our parade!" James says.
"Except this time it snowed!" Jessie cries out.
Then, all three cry out, "We're blasting off again!" and Team Rocket is gone.
"There they go!" Mew says.
"They might have beaten us if it wasn't for Sunkern," Misty says.
"Yeah. It looked gloomy until our little friend here chased the clouds away," Brock says.
"You were picture perfect," Todd says.
Sunkern happily smiles as Todd takes its picture.
Later, all the clouds have faded away.
"Well, the sun's back, but I suppose the Sunflora are gone forever," Marcello says.
And Sophia says, "Maybe that's true. I miss them too, but we can keep our beautiful snapshot of them in our hearts."
"You're right, dear," Marcello says.
Then Misty has an idea, "I have an idea! Why don't you take your anniversary picture with Sunkern this year?"
"That'd be great!" Todd says.
"No point in coming here and not taking our annual picture," Marcello replies.
"And Sunkern is just a pre-evolved Sunflora," Sophia adds.
Then Brock realizes something, "Hey, I just thought of something!" and turns to Mew, "When you won that bug catching contest, didn't they give you a Sun Stone as a prize?"
"They sure did," Mew says.
"Why don't you use it on Sunkern?" Brock says.
"Great idea Brock! A Sun Stone can help Sunkern evolve into a Sunflora," Mew says and brings out the Sun Stone.
Then Jen says, "And we can get our Sunfloras out as well."
"Great idea, Jen," Mew says.
Mew and Jen release their Sunflora. Mew's red Sunflora, and Jen's Sunflora, Flora. Brock then places down Sunkern, and Mew places the Sun Stone down in front of it. Soon, Sunkern evolves into Sunflora.
"I know you usually have hundreds of Sunflora in your pictures, but I think this year, three is the best we can do," Mew says.
"Well, we'll just make due with what we've got," Marcello says.
"That's right. Who wants all those Sunflora as competition? They're prettier than me," Sophia says.
Everyone chuckles in reply.
"That's so sweet. Married all this time and he's still in love," Misty happily says.
Everyone agrees,
Suddenly, the Wild Sunflora starts calling out, and then more Sunflora call out.
"What's that?" Sophia asks.
"Maybe it's some kind of echo," Todd suggests.
But Brock says, "Maybe not."
"Brock's right, look over there!" Mew says, looking yonder.
Everyone looks and sees the Sunflora returning.
Sophia is very happy, and surprised, "They're here!"
"I can't believe it! There must be a thousand Sunflora!" Misty says, astonished.
"They must've heard the new Sunflora calling them to come back here!" Brock says.
Soon, the Sunflora mass together and cover the bare ground with grass.
"This is wonderful," Sophia says.
"Yes, almost as wonderful as every day with you, Sophia," Marcello says.
Todd then positioned himself for the picture, "Okay. Now get into the same pose you were in fifty years ago!"
"How's this, Todd?" The couple replies.
Beautiful," Todd says and snaps the picture.
Just then, in the background, Todd sees what appears to be the shape of an Articuno flying behind a mountain.
"Was that?" Todd asks, shocked.
"What's the matter, Todd?" Misty asks.
"I just saw something fly by that looked like an Articuno!" Todd says.
"You did?" Everyone asks.
"Maybe you did saw it," Mew says.
"I think you're right, Mew," Brock says, "It could be possible. Maybe it was Articuno that brought all the cold weather to the south slope."
"It makes sense," Tomo says.
This makes Todd excited, "It was an Articuno! I just know it! I gotta find it and take a picture of it!"
"Great! I want to see Articuno, too!" Mew says.
"Guys, let's go find it!" Todd says.
Later, Mew and her friends bid Sophia and Marcello farewell.
Sophia calls out, "Thank you all!"
Take care!" Marcello calls out.
Misty calls out, "Have a happy fiftieth anniversary!
As the couple happily wave their grateful goodbyes, Mew and her friends, including their old friend, Todd, begin their new adventure. The search for the legendary Articuno.
