Episode 81: Spring Fever
After meeting up with their old friend, Todd, Mew and her friends have joined him on his search for the legendary Ice Bird Pokemon, Articuno. Their search is taking them towards the mountains in their view.
Misty is amazed, "Wow! Look at the size of that mountain."
"Are you thinking the same thing I'm thinking, guys?" Todd questions.
"I bet that's where we'll find, Articuno," Mew says.
"You just might be right about that, guys," Brock says.
"A picture of an Articuno will be really valuable, Todd," Jen says.
"Yeah. It'd be my most prized picture," Todd says.
Then Brock says, "This looks like a nice place to stop. Anybody interested in lunch?"
"I am!" Everyone agrees.
And soon, everyone is having rice balls for lunch.
"The air up here makes the food taste even better!" Tomo says.
"I agree. It sure is a nice view as well," Mew says.
Togepi soon chirps with the thermos in its hands.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Togepi. You must be thirsty. Here's a nice cup of water," Misty says, and pours Togepi a drink.
As the group are having lunch, something spots Misty's rice ball in the shadows. And with a gleam in its eye, charges in and startles Misty, causing her to drop the rice ball and giving it an easy meal.
"Well, looks like we have a lunch guest," Misty says.
"It's a Swinub," Jen points out
Soon, two more Swimnub are heard and seen and begin eating Misty's rice ball.
"There's two more," Molly replies.
"Swinub, eat fast," Tomo says.
"Loetta," (They sure do.) Meloetta replies.
As the Swinub eats, Todd snaps some photos.
Mew takes out her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Swinub, the Pig Pokémon. And Ice and Ground Type. The Swinub has an extremely keen sense of smell, which it usually uses to find food."
"Sounds like Swinub love eating even more than I do," Tomo says.
"But where do they come from?" Mew asks.
Suddenly, someone calls out, "Hey! Quit stealing food from strangers! Cut it out right now!" and runs over.
Turns out the voice belong to a little girl with her green hair in little pigtails, wears an orange skirt, blue shorts, and red shoes over white socks, and has violet eyes.
The three Swinub stop eating and huddle to her.
"That's very rude," The girl says.
Then turns to the group, "I hope they didn't cause too much trouble for you."
"I think they're cute," Misty says.
"Yeah, we've got plenty of food," Brock says.
"These little guys are hard to control when they're hungry and smell stuff to eat," The little girl says.
Then turns to the three Pokemon, "Where are your manners, Su, Ein, and Ub?"
"Su?" Jen question.
"Ein?" Molly replies.
And Tomo questions "Ub?"
"Yeah, those are the names of the Swinub," The little girl says.
Then puts her hand on the one to her left, "This is Su," Then puts her hand on the one to her right, "That one's Ein," And picks up the one in the middle, "And this one's Ub."
Then introduces herself, "Oh, yeah, and my name's Peggy."
"Hi, Peggy, I'm Misty," Misty introduces herself.
"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.
"I'm Jen, it's nice to meet you, Peggy," Jen says.
"And I'm Molly," Molly says.
"My name is Brock," Brock says.
"I'm Todd," Todd says.
"And I'm Mew," Mew says.
She then asks, "Do Su, Ein and Ub belong to you?"
"They all belong to my father," Peggy says.
"They all belong to your father?" Misty questions.
Soon enough, a man says, "Right! They all belong to me!"
They soon are introduced to Peggy's father who has dark hair and beard. He wears a blue shirt, dark blue vest, beige pants, and grown shoes
Peggy introduces them to him, "This is my dad, Rory."
"We've been working in these mountains for a month," Rory says.
"What kind of work are you doing here, Rory?" Todd asks.
"My dad's a professional hot spring digger!" Peggy answers.
"A hot spring digger?" Molly asks.
"Sounds cool," Jen says.
"The big hotel companies hire me to find the hot springs. I dig 'em out and they build resorts," Rory says
"I go all around the world with daddy and Su and Ein and Ub," Peggy says.
And Rory says, "The company that hired me for this job wants to build a resort up here, but first I've gotta find em a hot spring."
"I guess that shouldn't be too tough for you with all the experience you have," Brock says.
But Rory sadly frowns and says, "Oh, all my experience hasn't helped us much for the last few months, I'm afraid."
"What do you mean?" Molly asks.
"We can't seem to find hot springs anymore," Peggy says.
The group all share a frown.
"Now, don't worry little princess, we'll find ourselves a hot spring," Rory reassures.
"Sure," Peggy says
Then Tomo asks, "How do you even look for a spring in the first place?"
The three Swinub happily jump up and down.
"With my helpers," Rory says.
"The Swinubs help?" Misty says, confused.
"They use their noses to sniff out the hot, steamy water underground," Rory says.
Soon, the Swinub get to work and find what Rory thinks might be a hot spring.
"Look! They smell something! This could be the spring we've been looking for!" Rory says and takes out a Pokeball, "Go!"
And out of the Pokeball is Graveler. And soon, Graveler starts digging.
"If there's a spring, our Graveler will find it," Rory says.
"I see now!" Brock says
"Graveler does all the digging!" Mew says.
"I gotta shoot this!" Todd says, and taking pictures
Meanwhile, Team Rocket watches from afar
"They got a nice little excavation operation going there," Meowth says.
James: They certainly do," James says.
Meanwhile, Jessie is cheering, "Yes! Yes! A hot spring! A hot spring!"
"Jessie sounds happy,"Meowth replies.
Jessie lets out a sign and says, "I simply adore hot springs! In fact, I love hot springs almost as much as I love money! There's nothing more relaxing than to sit and soak in a beautiful, bubbling hot spring. Then I like to switch over to a sauna room for even more heavenly heat. And then it's back to the hot spring to sit and soak the day away. Hot springs are so delicious and delectable and deliriously dreamy."
"Well, if we do find da spring, maybe all dat soaking might soften her up a little," Meowth says, slightly annoyed.
Jessie glares at them, "Keep your comments to yourself, Meowth! We're finding ourselves a hot spring! From now on, we're going to search for a hot spring until we find one!"
"Wha?" Meowth questions.
"But, Jessie, we're here to take Pokemon, not baths," James points out.
Jessie stomps her foot on the ground, startling the two, "Why is everything always about Pokemon?! Don't these poor aching bones deserve a little rest and relaxation for a change? Let's forget Pokemon for a while. Once we find a spring, we can open a quaint little inn there! We can call it, Jessie's Lodge."
"Jessie's Lodge?" James questions.
Then Jessie says, "Oh, alright. Jessie and James' Lodge."
"Hey! Don't forget me!" Meowth calls out.
"Jessie and James and Friend!" Jessie says, irritated.
"That has a nice ring to it," Meowth replies with a happy nod.
"Now, let's pitch in and help them find a hot spring!" Jessie says.
"Help them?" James questions.
"And every single hot spring we find belongs to me! Charge!" Jessie says and dashes off.
"She's really hot for them hot springs, isn't she?" Meowth says.
"It's a good thing we don't let every silly little thing make us flip out," James says.
Wobbuffet!" (All too true.) Wobbuffet speaks up.
Right on cue, James and Meowth get spooked by Wobbuffet's sudden outburst.
"Don't do that!" James yelps.
"Wobbuffet!" (My mistake!) Wobbuffet apologizes.
Meanwhile, the hole that Graveler dug is revealed to have nothing.
Rory sighs, "Nothing. Looks like we were wrong again."
"Guess the Swinub made a mistake," Tomo says.
"Finding hot springs isn't easy. Even for Swinub," Rory says.
And then Peggy says, "They do the best we can, but they haven't found any springs in months. My dad had to give up on his last two jobs without finding a thing. We're starting to run out of food and other stuff now. I hope we find a hot spring pretty soon."
"I hope so too, Peggy," Misty says.
The Swinub happily played with Rory.
Rory laughs, "You little rascals. Don't worry, we'll find those hot springs."
"My daddy plays with the Swinub just as much as I do," Peggy says.
Rory took out some Pokémon food for the Swinub to eat, "Now don't those treats taste yummy? Here, have one, Pikachu."
"Pika!" (Yes, please!) Pikachu says.
Jessie and James peek out from behind a rock and put on some glasses to disguise themselves
Jessie calls out, "There you are!"
Rory looks over.
"We've found you at last!" Jessie says.
"Who are you?" Rory asks.
"The big boss at the resort company heard you haven't had too much luck finding a hot spring up here," Jessie says.
"So we came to help you," James says.
Rory is pleased, "This is wonderful! Just what we need!"
"Well, the sooner we stop talking, the sooner we can get to work digging for those hot springs," Jessie says,
"We're both excellent diggers, although we usually dig big holes to trap those…" James explains, but Jessie covers his mouth before blowing their cover.
"I'll get my Pokémon team together and we can go to work," Rory says.
"The two new people should be a real big help digging for hot springs," Misty says.
"Maybe we could help em dig, too," Brock says.
"Great idea," Mew says.
Soon, the Swinub get to work again and find another digging spot.
"Go!" Rory calls out
Graveler comes out and starts digging, amazing Team Rocket.
"That sure beats a shovel," Jessie says.
"Yeah, if we had a Graveler, think how deep we can dig our traps for those…" James says.
But Jessie covers James' mouth and says, "I told you to keep your trap shut about the traps."
Soon, everyone is busy, both human and Pokémon. Mew and some of the others let out their Pokemon to help digg. Jen even lets her Swinub out to help, because it knows how to use Dig.
"Looks like this hole's dryer than a Cubone," Tomo says.
"No hot spring," Jen says.
Meanwhile, James says, "I hate to disappoint you, Jessie, but it doesn't look like there's any hot springs up here.
"Then we'll go find one someplace else," Jessie says, "We'll just steal the Swinub and the Graveler and make them search and dig until we hit something."
"Jessie, that Graveler looks awful heavy and my back's been just…" James says.
But once again, Jessie says, "You steal the Swinub, I'll grab the Graveler."
The duo soon approach Rory, who's still busy digging.
"Excuse me. My partner and I may have found a possible hot spring site. Could we borrow your Graveler for a second to do a little digging for us?" Jessie asks.
"Oh, sure. Go right ahead," Rory says, and turns to Graveler, "Graveler, go along and help our friends, please."
Graveler agrees and he and Jessie take their leave.
"Thanks very much. We'll take good care of it for you," Jessie says.
Soon enough, Jessie puts her plan in motion, but Graveler proves resistant or Graveler is too heavy for Jessie to carry.
Yet Jessie continues trying, "Come on! Work with me a little!"
Meanwhile, James is getting the Swinub.
"That's right, I've got loads of tasty snacks right inside the bag," James says.
The Swinub fall for the trick and James catches it, "Gotcha now, you little gluttons!"
Jessie soon shows up, and with no Graveler.
James asks, "Where's the Graveler?"
"Left it there. It was like a ton of bricks. Let's just swipe the Swinub and go," Jessie says.
Soon, James contacts Meowth, "Hardhat one to Fur ball, piggy package ready for pickup."
"Okay! Dat's the secret signal! Time for me!" Meowth says.
Meanwhile, Peggy is looking for the Swinub as she calls out, "Su! Ein! Ub! Where'd you all go to?"
Jen walks with her Swinub and asks, "Did you find them?"
"No. Where did they go?" Peggy replies.
Soon, the two girls and little Swinub look and see Team Rocket up to their tricks again as one of the Swinub tries to escape.
"Oh no!" Peggy cries out.
James struggles to hold them in place, "Stop it! Stay inside!"
The girls gasp.
Peggy cries out, "Come quick, everybody! Hurry!
Everyone runs over.
"Those resort people just stole your Swinub!" Jen cries out.
Jessie and James turn to see Mew and the others rushing over.
Rory demands. Who are you two and what are you doing here?!
Jessie chuckles.
And James says, "Try to take this, daddy-o!"
And with that, they begin their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, cause we dig Pokémon!
James:
That's why we're stealing your three Pig Pokémon!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation!
James:
To unite all people within our nation!
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: (removing her disguise)

Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth:
Meowth, dat's right!
Meowth soon slides in on a toboggan. Jessie and James hop in, allowing all three to escape with the Swinub.
"It's Team Rocket!" Jen cries out.
"They got the Swinub!" Molly calls out.
"They're getting away!
"After em!" Mew calls out, and gives chase.
Tomo, Brock, and Rory follow Pikachu and Eevee, before all of them fall into a pit trap.
Jessie calls out, "Watch out for that first step, boys!"
"We pretended to be digging for hot springs but we were really digging traps!" James calls out.
Jessie and James chant, "Off to find the hot springs!"
Team Rocket laughs as they ride away.
"We fell for it again," Tomo says, frustrated.
"We're never gonna catch em on foot!" Peggy says.
Mew then looks ahead at a cabin and gets an idea, Hey! Come on! We can use those boxes!
"Good plan!" Pikachu and Eevee say.
Soon, Mew and her friends grab the boxes, hop in them, and begin sliding down in them
"Come on, let's go, too!" Todd says.
"Okay!" Rory says.
Further down, Team Rocket laughs at their triumph.
"Da plan's woiking beautiful, Jess!" Meowth says.
"Now we have three swell little Swinub!" Jessie says.
Suddenly, Mew's voice calls out, "There they are!
Team Rocket looks back and sees Mew and the others are catching up.
"Alright, give em back!" Jen calls out.
"Swinub!" (Right now!) Jen's Swinub calls out
"Give back those Swinub!" Toddy calls out.
"It's the dope box derby!" James says.
"We've got to get rid of those twerp!" Jessie says.
"Don't you worry," Meowth says, and brings out a bottle, "This'll slip em up!" and pours what is actually oil on the ground.
Soon enough, everyone zigs and zags to get around the trailing oil slick.
"They should have the decency to give up!" Jessie calls out.
Just then, James calls out, "Look! Up ahead!"
Team Rocket soon finds that they're entering a cave and slides through it like it were a toboggan slide. But on the landing upon exit, Meowth drops the bottle of oil.
"I dropped the super slippy oil!" Meowth cries out.
"What do you have super slippy oil for?" James asks.
"For cookin, for cleansin, and for adding new luster to dull foiniture. I buy slippy oil by the gallon!" Meowth answers.
"I hope you didn't buy it with our food money," James says.
Meowth just sweat drops, knowing he did, as Mew and the others come out of the cave.
Mew is the first to exit the cave, but soon hits the slippy oil and loses control, everyone else also hits the oil and spins out.
"Hooray!" Jessie and James cheer.
"My super slippy oil really slipped em up!" Meowth says, and laughs.
Todd is soon seen spinning out, and when he opens his eyes and looks to his right, he spots an Articuno flying above the mountain range.
"There's Articuno!" Todd calls out.
Mew looks to her right, but ends up crashing.
"That was a surprise," Mew says.
Soon, the others crash into Mew's box and Todd ends up crashing as he tries to get a picture of Articuno, who is seen heading to the tallest mountain in the mountain range.
"I just missed the perfect shot!" Todd says, distressed.
"We all saw it," Mew says.
"It flew right to the top of that mountain," Brock says.
Rory groans, "We have to get Su, Ein and Ub back"!
"We will!" Peggy says.
"Team Rocket may have had a head start, but don't worry. We'll catch em, and when we do, we'll get those Swinub back for you, no matter what!" Mew says.
Sometime later, Team Rocket has finally stopped and look over their catch.
"We did it! We swiped the Swinub!" Jessie cheers.
"Well, now we have to figure out a way to get them back to the boss, I guess," James says.
Jessie says, "I have a different plan in mind. First we'll have the Swinub find us a hot spring and then we can bring them to the boss, if we want."
Then cheers, "Yahoo!"
She walks to the three Swinub and says, "Okay, Swinub, time to find Jessie-wessie a nice, cozy-wozy hot spring!" and has them set off to work, leaving James and Meowth dumbfounded.
"These hot springs are gonna get us into hot water," James says.
"Oh, yeah," Meowth says.
The Swinub soon find something.
Jessie happily says, "Look! The Swinub have found something already! Let's start digging!"
In a while, James and Meowth soon dig a pretty deep hole.
"Dem Swinub got it easy, all dey gotta do is sniff," Meowth says.
"I really wish Jessie had brought that guy's Graveler along with us," James says.
"Graveler?" Meowth questions.
"She tried, but it was too heavy for her," James says.
Jessie peers into the hole, "Quit yapping and keep digging!"
"Alright," James and Meowth call out.
Soon, James hits something.
"Did you hit a hot spring?" Jessie asks,
Well, it does feel like liquid down here," James says.
James removes his pickaxe, but finds that instead of water, he struck black liquid.
"I knew we'd find one! It's a big, beautiful hot spring!" Jessie cheers.
"I guess you and me is just as good at finding hot springs as dem Swinub is," Meowth says.
"I don't know, Meowth. This seems awfully polluted for a hot spring," James says.
He puts his finger in the geyser and confirms what it is, "Just as I thought. This is oil."
Jessie and Meowth: Just our luck!" Jessie and Meowth whine.
Jessie also sounds disappointed, "I should've known better than to get my heart set on what I want."
"This proves how unfair life can be," Meowth says.
"I can't sit and soak in a pool of dirty, greasy oil," Jessie says, depressed.
"Instead of having a nice spring, we're stuck with an oil well. Stuck..." Meowth says.
But realizing they just hit black gold hit Jessie and Meowth, "WITH AN OIL WELL?!"
Meowth cheers, "Guys! We're rich! We're finally rich!" and laughs. (laughs)
"We're not just rich, we're FILTHY rich!" Jessie cheers.
"Filthy rich! Filthy rich! Filthy rich!" Meowth cheers.
As Jessie and Meowth celebrate their fortune, James investigates the oil well.
"Now we can afford to buy everything we ever wanted!" Meowth say.
"I could spend the rest of our lives in hot springs now that we've discovered oil! "Jessie says as she laughs happily.
But James ends up breaking the news, "Jess? I don't think we actually discovered any oil.
"What do you mean?" Meowth says.
"I just checked. We only punched a whole in an oil company's pipeline," James says, finding the pipe.
"But, that means…" Jessie says.
"The oil don't technically belong to us?" Meowth says.
And James says, "No, and once they find out what we've done, we'll probably do some jail time."
SOME JAIL TIME?!" Jessie and Meowth panic.
Soon, the three vamoose before the people from the company can find out.
Meowth cries out, "LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!"
Noctowl, Aerodactyl, and Ledian spot Team Rocket as they run away.
Back to Mew and the others, they are still searching.
Roy says in concern, "My poor Swinub."
"Don't worry, Rory. We'll find them," Misty says.
"Hey, it's Noctowl, and the others," Brock says, spotting them in the sky, "Maybe it has some information."
Noctowl, Aerocactyl, and Ledan fly down.
"Did you three see Team Rocket?" Mew asks.
Noctowl points in the direction they came from.
"They went that way! Come on!" Mew says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket comes to a stop.
"We could've been rich," Jessie says, disappointed.
"Yeah, but at least we got ourselves some Pokemon for the boss," Meowth says.
Suddenly, Mew's voice appears, "I knew we'd find you losers!"
Team Rocket looks and sees Mew and the others approaching.
"Look, it's team twerp!" Jessie cries out.
"You'd better give Rory's Swinub back to him right now!" Misty says.
Jessie holds them up, "We're keeping them kid, and as soon as they find us a hot spring, we're giving them to our boss as a present!"
"Please, no!" Rory cries out.
"You just made a big mistake, Jessie!" Mew says.
She then calls out, "Totodile, Zo, I choose you!"
Soon, Totodile and Zo come out.
Misty calls out, "I choose Poliwhirl! Sobble!"
Rory calls out, "Come on out, Graveler! We need you, too!"
All three Pokemon come out.
"Go Swinub!" Jen calls out.
Swinub jumps into battle.
Jessie throws her Pokeball, "Go, Arbok!"
"Get in there, Victreebel!" James does the same.
But Victreebel lets itself out and attempts to eat James.
"Get in there, not my hair!" James cries out.
Jessie calls out, "Arbok, use your Headbutt attack!"
Mew calls out, "Totdile! Zo! Use Scratch!"
Totodile and Zo use their attacks on Arbok.
Rory then calls out, "Graveler, Tackle attack!"
Graveler manages to nail Arbok easily.
"Victreebel, use your Razor Leaf attack!" James calls out.
Victreebel launches the attack.
Rory calls out, "Quick, use Defense Curl!"
Graveler does so, blocking the attack.
Misty calls out, "Poliwhirl, use your Double Slap!"
Poliwhirl's attack lands rapidly and hard.
And Misty call out, "Sobble, use Water Gun!"
Sobble then sprays Water at Victreebel.
Rory calls out, "Now's our chance! Grab the Swinub, Graveler!"
Graveler charges but Meowth blocks the way.
"Get lost, Rocky!" Meowth says.
Quick! Tackle attack!" Rory calls out.
Then Jen calls out, "Swinub, help Graveler with Tackle!"
Graveler and Jen's Swinub easily knocks Meowth aside, allowing Rory to save the Swinub.
"This battle's just beginning! I choose Weezing!" James says, and calls out his Pokemon.
Soon, all their Pokemon are out.
Then Jessie says, "We're using our whole lineup for this battle, heroes."
"Wobbuffet!" (That means me!) Wobbuffet says.
"Oh, I forgot about you," Jessie replies.
Soon, Happiny comes out of her Pokeball.
"Happiny, you want to help too?" Jessie asks.
Happiny happily nods in reply.
"Okay, but be careful. You're still uh, learning," Jessie says
"Fine! Then we'll all battle!" Tomo says.
But suddenly, the Swinub start acting up.
"Something's wrong with the Swinub," Rory says.
"I've never heard them this way!" Peggy says.
"They sure don't sound to happy," Brock says.
"I heard Swinub make that sound back at home, and it's not a good sound. That means Su, Eim, and Ub are really angry," Jen says.
"Nice shot," Todd says and takes a photo of them.
"I understand what's happening!" Rory says and calls out, "Listen! Jen's right, the Swinub are very angry with you! They're the ones you tried to steal, so they want to pay you back! And so do I! Alright guys, let's go get em!
The three Swinub charges.
Rory calls out, Go, Su!
Jessie calls out, "Arbok, use your Wrap attack!"
Arbok manages to coil around Su.
Peggy calls out, "Stay strong, Su!"
Ein, use your Take Down attack!" Rory calls out.
Ein's attack hits and Arbok lets Su go.
Jessie calls out, "Arbok, try a Bite attack!"
Arbok closes in for the attack.
"Dodge it!" Rory calls out,
Both Su and Ein manage to evade.
Then Rory calls out, "Now, Ub, Tackle attack!"
Ub charges in for the attack.
Jessie calls out, "Quick, Wobbuffet, Counter!"
Wobbuffet manages to block the attack as Todd snaps some photos.
"Wow! What a battle! These shots are gonna be great!" Todd says.
Just then, Jessie then slides in, "Get a shot of this!" and strike different poses, "Or something, more like this. How bout a profile?"
But Todd walks away.
Jessie feels offended by it, "These kids today don't know about talent," And walks to James, "Things have certainly changed a lot when I started my modeling career."
"Jessie, when were you ever a model?" James asks.
Jessie pulls out of a magazine, "Here's the ad campaign that featured me that ran in all the fashion magazines!"
"But where are you?" James asks.
"I'm right there!" Jessie say, and it shows that Jessie was far back away from the camera.
Meanwhile… Victreebel and Arbok have fallen defeat.
Team Rocket realizes, "We're still battling!"
"Weezing, use Smokescreen!" James calls out.
Weezing launches the attack, blinding the Swinub.
Misty calls out, "Poliwhirl, blow the Smokescreen away with your Bubble! Sobble, do the same with Water Pulse!"
Both Water Pokemon launch the attack, clearing the smoke.
Rory calls out, "All together now, use your Powder Snow!"
Jen calls out, "Swinub, help Su, Em, and Ub!"
All four Swinub perform the attack and freeze Team Rocket's Pokemon solid.
Mewoth panics, "Oh no! They're frozen solid!"
Rory and Jen calls out, "Tackle attack!"
All four tackle, breaking the Pokemon free, but also take them all out.
Mew then says, "Are you ready, Misty?"
"Ready!" Misty says.
Then the girls call out, "Triple Water Gun!"
Totodile, Poliwhirl, and Sobble use Water Gun sending Team Rocket and their Pokemon flying.
"At least you could've made it hot water!" Team Rocket crie out.
"Wobb-uffet!" (We're blasting off again!) Wobbuffet cries out.
"Thanks to you guys, we got all our Swinub back safe!" Peggy happily says.
"Well, your Swinub were a lot tougher than I expected," Tomo says.
"Maybe they can't find hot springs like they used to, but they sure put a great battle," Rory says.
The Swinub trio leaves Rory's arms and start sniffing around, but for some reason, they are even more full of energy than usual. Jen's Swinub decides to do the same.
Jen giggles, "Looks like my Swinub decided to help out."
"It seems like they smell something!" Rory says.
Soon, all four are hopping in a circle.
"I wonder if they sniffed out a hot spring!" Rory says. Then turns to Graveler, "Graveler, start digging!"
Graveler starts digging after the Swinub move out of the way.
"I hope Graveler finds something down there," Todd says.
"Maybe their losing streak's over," Misty says.
"You think it's a hot spring?" Peggy asks.
: We'll see," Rory says.
They waited for a few moments as Graveler kept digging. After waiting a few moments, Graveler comes rushing out and Pikachu and the Swinub clear the way as the ground rumbles and hot water erupts out of the ground
Rory happily cheers, "They did it! They did it! Thanks to the Swinub, we're back, baby!"
Peggy leaps into her father's arms as the four Swinub hop around with joy. Jen's Swinub hop into Jen's arms.
"I know. Isn't it great, guys? The Swinub finally sniffed out a hot spring!" Misty happily says.
"I bet battling got them all warmed up and that made em stronger. It must've gotten their noses warmed up, too," Brock says.
Then Jen says, "Even Swinub got strong from the battle."
"Swinub!" (Yeah!) Jen's Swinub happily says.
Peggy proudly says, "Su, Ein, Ub, you were great."
"It's at moments like this that I'm glad I always carry a camera," Todd says, and snaps a picture.
Later, everyone returns to the spot Rory and Peggy are staying at and takes their leave.
"Thanks, guys! Goodbye!" Peggy waves goodbye.
Rory calls out, "Best of luck on your journey! Bye-bye!"
"Take care of yourselves and the Swinub!" Misty calls out.
"See ya!" Jen calls out.
Todd turned and faced the mountain they were looking at earlier, "I know I saw Articuno is flying toward that mountain! Now, nothing's gonna stop me from getting its picture!"
"Come on, guys! Let's go find it!" Mew says.
"Yeah!" Everyone agrees.
And with that, the group continue their adventure to find Articuno so Todd can finally take its picture. Will they be able to meet the legendary Pokemon?
