Episode 82: Freeze Frame
Mew and her friends continue on a quest with their friend, Todd. Todd's determined to find Articuno and take a picture of it. They soon arrive in a snowy area of the mountain. Soon, Noctowl flies over.
Mew calls out, "Any luck, Noctowl? Any sign of Articuno up there?
Noctowl shakes his head, meaning no.
Nothing, huh?" Mew says.
Todd lowered his binoculars, "But we saw it fly this way, it's gotta be on that mountain someplace."
"I don't see how we can get up on that mountain to check it out," Misty says.
"It'll be tough. Snowtop Mountain's icy all year round," Brock says.
Soon, Golbat returns, "Hey, Golbat, did you find anything yet?"
Golbat hisses, (This way!) and flies off.
"Maybe Golbat has a clue that could lead us to Articuno," Todd says.
"Let's go see what they found!" Tomo says.
"Yeah," Todd agrees.
Everyone follows Golbat and soon sees what the Bat Pokemon has found. It's a Pokemon frozen in ice. The Pokemon is a light brown, canine Pokémon. It has oval, brown eyes, a red nose, and its face covered by an abundance of cream fur. It has large pointed ears with a tuft of fur near the base of each. Its fur puffs out above its paws, and it's back has a spiky dark blue blaze. Each paw has three toes, and has a short, tufty tail.
"What's that?" Jen asks.
Mew kneels down to it, "It's a Lillipup, Jen. And it needs our help."
Pikachu and the other Pokemon rush over to investigate it.
Todd says, "I have a hunch about this. I think Articuno may have done it."
Mew brings out her Pokeball, "Cyndaquil, I choose you!"
And Cyndaquil comes out.
"Cyndaquil, use your Flamethrower and get Lillipup unfrozen!" Mew says
Cyndaquil does just that, and soon the Lillipup is free.
Just then, Todd rushes to the Pokemon, "Lillipup, tell me, did you see it?"
Lillipup barks, (See what?)
"You have to tell me, Lillipup! Did an Articuno do this to you?" Todd continues.
Lillipup doesn't like it, so it bites on Todd before jumping into Mew's arm.
" Lillipup acting kinda cold," Tomo says.
"I don't think it liked being pressured after being let out," Mew says.
Then looks down towards the little puppy Pokemon, "Hey Lillipup. We're trying to find an Articuno. A large blue flying bird Pokemon. Do you know where it went?"
Lillipup barks and turns towards the mountains.
"Lillipup says that it flew towards Snowtop Mountain," Mew translates.
"That's it! Articuno must've headed for Snowtop Mountain!" Brock says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen attempting to climb Snowtop Mountain.
"Only a few thousand feet more!" Jessie says.
"I'm completely exhilarated!" James says.
"I'm just cold. Let's go to that Pokemon Center we passed," Meowth says.
But Jessie says, "Quit complaining! It was your idea to get ahead of the twerps and set a trap for them up here!"
"And the only way we can do that is to climb straight up the side of this mountain, so stop whining and start climbing!" James adds.
But then Meowth suggests, "How bout dis? I'll start climbin' but I'll still keep complainin'."
I'm actually enjoying ice climbing!" Jessie says.
And suddenly, a Spearow snatches Jessie' ice pick.
Jessie calls out, "Hey, you! What's the big idea?! Gimme back that pick before I pick your little brain!"
And soon, a whole flock of Spearow has Team Rocket surrounded and starts pecking at them.
Meowth screams, "Go on! Beat it! Getcher flappin' feathers away from me!"
"It's a Spearow air force!" James cries out.
Jessie cries out, "Just lay off the face! Scratch anything but the face!"
The Spearow then makes the piton holding Team Rocket up come loose and send them falling.
"This can't be!" Jessie panics.
It's too early!" James cries out.
Blastin' off already?" Meowth adds
Team Rocket plummets downward.
Meanwhile, on ground level, Todd spots something up ahead, "Hey, guys, look!"
Everyone turns to see a Stantler and its child.
"Two Stantler!" Brock says.
"I think it's a mom and her baby," Misty says.
"This'll be great," Todd says and takes the photo before the two Stantler leap away, "Hey, maybe I'll print up a whole bunch of those and make em into Christmas cards!"
Just then, Pikachu and Eevee spot something. Everyone looks to see a Pokemon Center.
"Alright!" Tomo says
"Look guys! It's a Pokémon Center!" Misty says.
"Wow! I never thought they'd have one all the way up here," Brock says.
"Wouldn't this be the perfect spot to cuddle up with a hot cocoa and a warm Nurse Joy?" Brock says.
Everyone looks at Brock weird.
Brock quickly says, "That's not what I meant! I meant a warm fire!"
Soon, the group walks towards the Pokemon Center.
Brock notices a billboard in front, "Hey, looks like they've got some kind of message here on the bulletin board."
"What's it say?" Molly asks.
Mew reads it, "'Welcome trainers. This is the Snowtop Peak Pokémon Center. The highest Pokémon Center in the world.'"
"That's pretty cool," Tomo says.
"Pika!" (Way cool!) Sparkle agrees.
"Go over and stand next to the sign and I'll take a picture so you guys can have a souvenir," Todd says.
Everyone does so.
"Hold it," Todd says, and snaps a photo. "Great!"
Soon after, Officer Jenny rides in on her snowmobile.
Brock grows excited, "Officer Jenny!"
"Hi, everyone! Let's go warm up," Officer Jenny says.
Soon, everyone is inside and warming up. Mew is also making sure Lillipup is kept warm.
Mew looks at her Pokedex, and Dexter says, "Lillipup, the Puppy Pokemon. A Normal Type. This Pokémon is far brighter than the average child, and Lillipup won't forget the love it receives or any abuse it suffers."
Lillipup happily barks and licks Mew.
"I see you're feeling a lot better," Mew says.
Then Lillipup snuggles against Mew.
"I think Lillipup is being friendly towards you because you saved it," Molly says.
Misty giggles, "Once again, Mew's kindness earns her a new friend."
Just then, Todd says, "I think it's gonna be a lot harder to get a picture of an Articuno than I thought it would be."
"Don't worry, Todd. We'll get it somehow," Jen says.
"Hey guys, I think I know how we can get a picture of Articuno," Tomo asks.
"What's that?" Molly asks.
"If we finally find Articuno, all we have to do then is have Jigglypuff sing its song!" Tomo says.
"Its song?" Misty says confused.
"She'll put Articuno right to sleep and then Todd can take a million pictures if he wants!" Tomo says.
But Mew says, "Tomo, if Jigglypuff sings, it's gonna put Todd to sleep, too. Then he still won't have a picture of Articuno."
"Even if I could stay awake, I wouldn't want a shot of Articuno asleep," Todd says.
"Isn't a sleeping Articuno shot better than no shot?" Jen asks.
But Todd says, "If I get the chance to take a picture of Articuno, I want it to look just like the way I've always imagined it. Big, powerful, majestic. I don't need a million shots, either. I'll be happy if I can take just one that captures a little bit of what an Articuno is really like."
Soon, Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny soon approach.
"So. Officer Jenny says you're looking for Articuno," Nurse Joy says.
"Yeah, but I'd settle for a steady girlfriend, Nurse Joy!" Brock happily says.
"That's right, Nurse Joy!" Todd says, "Have you seen any? Cause I saw one yesterday flying up towards the top of the mountain."
"That's not too surprising," Officer Jenny says.
"Articuno have come to Snowtop Mountain for longer than anyone can remember. Except for that one I heard of that lives off the coast of Shamouti Island, that is," Nurse Joy says.
"What?!" Todd says, shocked.
"You mean you know about the Articuno, Nurse Joy?!" Tomo asks, surprised.
Soon, everyone is outside and looking at a statue of Articuno.
"An Articuno statue!" Mew says, amazed.
"Yeah, it's pretty impressive," Todd says.
"This statue was brought here more than twelve-hundred years ago," Nurse Joy says.
"Twelve-hundred years ago?" Molly replies.
Nurse Joy explains, "Travelers say that the Articuno watch over them on their journey."
"I guess there must've been a lot of Articuno back then," Mew says.
Then Officer Jenny says, "Some people believe that the Articuno still has nests in all the highest mountains and coldest places. And that it flies from nest to nest bringing winter weather with it."
"Snowtop's a very high mountain, and it gets very cold, too. That's the reason why people say Articuno must have a nest someplace up here as well," Nurse Joy adds.
Then Officer Jenny says, "There's lots of stories and legends about Articuno, guess that's why they call it a legendary Pokemon."
"Well, maybe it's just a legend about those travelers, but I know I saw an Articuno flying up here," Todd says.
"At least one of the travelers' stories is true, there's a diary of one of the people who brought the statue here that says Articuno rescued him and lots of others," Officer Jenny says.
"Really?" Jen asks.
"Maybe that's what it's doing up here now!" Todd says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen to be alive, but stranded on a ledge overlooking a gorge, and with no way off.
"Well, it's a good thing that we landed but it's a bad thing we're stranded," James says.
"Without our equipment, there's no way to get up and no way to get down," Jessie says.
Meowth lies down, "I wish I was snoozin' away on a cozy li'l coffee table."
"Meowth, you have to stay awake!" Jessie cries out.
James shouts, "Don't be so selfish, Meowth! If you fall asleep, you'll freeze and the boss will blame the two of us!"
Jessie pulls on Meowth's mouth, "Meowth, come on. Wake up. Meowth?"
"Maybe Meowth's got the right idea, Jess," James replies.
Jessie stands up and cries out, "HELP! SOMEBODY! WE'RE STUCK!"
Jessie's voice echoes across the gorge.
"There's one good thing. At least it can't get any worse than this," James says.
Suddenly, snow starts to fall.
"Oh, yeah?" Jessie says.
Meowth soon gets up as the wind starts blowing fiercely.
A blizzard!" Meowth says.
James tries warming his hands, but can't, "My breath is cold!"
Team Rocket huddles together.
Meowth cries out, "We're doomed!"
Suddenly, Articuno shows up.
Jessie and James panics, "What's that?"
"Help us!" Meowth says in fear.
Back at the statue…
Officer Jenny explains, "The legend is that three travelers were stranded on the mountain, but an Articuno found them and led them to safety. Then a year later, the same three brought this statue here to thank and honor Articuno."
"If Articuno lived near here way back then, I bet there's a good chance they may still live somewhere nearby," Misty says.
"I gotta go find one!" Todd says, excited.
"Yeah! And if we all look for it together, we will!" Mew says.
The Pokemon agree.
But Nurse Joy says, "I don't think you realize how difficult it is to climb an icy mountain like Snowtop. It's very dangerous."
"Don't you worry, Nurse Joy! I'll be leading every step of the way!" Brock says.
"Will this be the first time you ever tried ice climbing?" Nurse Joy asks.
"Yes, it will!" Brock answers.
"Then it might be your last," Nurse Joy says.
"That's cold!" Brock soon freezes up, quite literally.
Misty says, "Come on, Brock. After a while, she'll warm up to the idea."
Soon, snow starts to fall.
"Hey! You really are frozen, aren't you?" Misty says.
Soon, the pokemon and even Mew and Tomo senses something.
"Hey we all sense something!" Mew says.
"Yeah. Me too," Tomo says.
"Maybe Articuno's coming!" Todd says.
Soon, the blizzard hits.
"Let's not take any chances, let's get back to the Pokémon Center!" Officer Jenny says.
"Come on, Todd! Let's go!" Mew calls out.
But Todd says, "There's something out there! I can just, feel it."
Suddenly, Articuno flies straight up.
"That looked like…" Todd says.
But as quickly as the blizzard came in, it fades.
Misty drops to her knees, "I'm glad that's over."
"That was like a mini blizzard!" Molly says.
And Todd says, "But it dumped more than snow."
Everyone looks and sees what Todd means.
"It's Team Rocket!" Mew says, shocked
Soon, Team Rocket is inside and warming up.
"Dis is like a dream come true," Meowth says, all warmed up
"Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny are in the kitchen making some hot soup for you. Not that you three deserve any. It'll be ready in a few minutes," Brock says.
Misty calls out, "Brock! Can you help me get these coats out, please?"
"Coming!" Brock says and walks away to help Misty.
Mew then turns to Team Rocket, "What happened to you three?"
"Yeah. How'd you three wind up here in that snow pile?" Tomo asks.
"And frozen?" Molly adds
"We were stranded," Jessie says.
"Alone," James adds.
"Okay. And then what?" Todd questions.
Jessie says, "Then this gigantic thing flew up from out of nowhere."
"Then it lit up and we all blacked out!" James adds.
"Gigantic thing?" Jen asks.
"I know exactly what it was," Todd says, "It's just like the story Officer Jenny told us! These three got stranded in the mountains and Articuno came and helped them out!"
"An Articuno?" Jessie questions.
"Yeah. Articuno rescued you three from being stranded," Molly says.
"Let's go!" Todd says and heads to the door.
"Todd, wait! Let's sit down and plan this!" Mew calls out.
"I came up here to take a picture of an Articuno, I don't have time to hang around and plan!" Todd says, and quickly rushes outside.
"Sounds good to me," Mew says, and follows Todd, "Hey, Todd! Wait up!"
Mew and the others bring out their overcoats and rush out.
Soon, Misty walks by to see them leaving, Mew!" Where are you and the others going?!"
"They can't go climbing up a snowy mountain dressed like that," Brock says.
Misty and Brock head off with their coats after them.
"Guys, wait!" Misty calls out.
"Soon, everyone else heads out, leaving Team Rocket behind.
"James, that thing that saved us must've been an Articuno," Jessie says.
"Jessie, isn't Articuno one of those legendary Pokémon?" James questions.
And Meowt says, "We had a legendary Pokemon right in our faces and we didn't even know it!
"What fools we are!" James says, "We let an Articuno get away just because we were stranded and freezing!"
Jessie tosses the blanket, "What are we sitting here for?"
James does the same, "There's an Articuno out there to capture!"
"Are we ready to give the boss the greatest Pokemon collectible ever?!" Meowth calls out.
"Yeah!" Team Rocket cheers.
Soon Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy come in.
"Okay, soup's ready!" Jenny calls out.
However, they find the threesome had gone.
"They're gone!" Jenn says, shocked.
They look outside and find Officer Jenny's snowmobile is gone.
"My snowmobile!" Jenny says, shocked.
"You don't think those kids took your snowmobile, do you?" Nurse Joy asks, worried.
But Jenny says, "Not the kids. See those prints? The other three took it," Then looks up, "There's a storm on the way!"
"And it's headed for the mountain," Nurse Joy says.
"We've got to find them before that storm hits!" Jenny says.
"Let's go," Joy agrees.
Meanwhile, Mew, Todd, and the others are trudging through the snow storm.
"Oh, man! It was clear just a minute ago!" Brock calls out.
"This snow came out of nowhere!" Misty says.
"Hey! Maybe this snow means that Articuno must be somewhere nearby," Mew says
"I hope you're right about that, cause I'm not giving up till I take it's picture!" Todd replies.
"Well, that Articuno's not gonna come looking for us, so we better get going!" Tomo says.
"Come on, guys. Let's keep walking," Mew says.
"But Mew, this is a blizzard. I can't even see my hand in front of my face," Misty says.
"I think you're right. I can't even see my feet," Mew replies.
And Brock says, "I think we should stay put. We might be in trouble if we can't see where we're going."
Just then, Mew, Tomo, and the Pokemon sense something.
"I think they sense something," Misty says.
"Maybe more snow's coming," Jen says.
"Maybe," Todd says.
Soon, right before their eyes, something descends in front of them.
Todd notices, "Hey, that tail."
Looks familiar," Mew says.
Everyone looks and finds that it really is Articuno creating the blizzard before said blizzard fades.
"Alright!" Tomo cheers.
"Articuno!" Todd happily says.
"It looks just like the statue!" Brock says.
"But a hundred times more beautiful," Misty says.
"Pikachu!" (Majestic!) Sparkle agrees.
"Hey, there, Articuno," Mew says
But Articuno soon shrieks, causing Ash to stop.
"What did Articono say?" Molly asks.
"She says, don't come closer," Mew says. She soon looks down and is shocked to find a large gorge between her and her group, and Articuno.
"What happened to the ground?!" Tomo exclaims.
"EEVEE!" (YIKES!) Eevee yelps.
"We almost walked off a cliff!" Brock says.
"And into the gorge!" Jen adds
"That would've been bad," Misty says.
"If we just kept walking through the snow, we would've gone right over the edge. We would've been…" Todd says. "But Articuno stopped us. It saved our lives."
"Yeah. Articuno must have saw us heading towards the gorge and stop the snow from falling and screeched in order for us to not get too close," Mew says.
Lillipup barks in agreement.
"I better get this," Todd says, and gets out his camera.
But just before Todd can take the shot, shots are fired at Articuno causing it to gain altitude.
"Something's attacking it!" Todd cries out.
"Who could that be?!" Mew demands.
The group turns to see Team Rocket, as they begin their motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, I think that you know!
James:
We're here to capture Articuno!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now or prepare to fight, fight, fight, fight!
Wobbuffet:
WOBBUHHH... (That is...)
Meowth:
Meowth, dat's right!
Hearing what Team Rocket is planning, Mew angrily says, "I can't believe you!"
"How could you try to capture Articuno after it saved your miserable lives?!" Brock angrily says.
"That was then, and this is now," Jessie says.
"So surrender now, or prepare to fight!" James calls out, taunting them.
"Meowth, dat's right!" Meowth says.
"That's terrible!" Misty shouts.
"Yeah! This is low even for you three!" Tomo shouts.
"Articuno's here to help rescue travelers in trouble!" Todd adds.
"Yeah!" Jen and Molly call out.
But Jessie says, "Well, we're traveling back to our boss and if we don't have this Articuno with us, we'll be in big trouble!"
"Articuno rescued us once, and I'm sure it'd be happy to rescue us again!" James says.
Then Meowth says, "Come on, team! Let's grab that big blue boid!"
"Wobb-uffet!" (Right away!) Wobbuffet says.
Jessie calls out, "Let's go, Arbok! Get ready to launch another Poison Sting attack!"
James calls out to his Pokemon, "Go use your Sludge attack, Weezing!"
Weezing also charges in
"We gotta stop em!" Mew says, "Pikachu, Eevee, use your Thunderbolt attack!"
Pikachu and Eevee leap in and dodge the Sludge attack from Weezing while Arbok fires at Articuno. However, unimpressed, Articuno flaps its wings and dispels the Poison Sting easily before charging a powerful Ice Beam aimed at Team Rocket.
"Articuno's getting ready to use its Ice Beam!" Brock says.
Articuno fires as Team Rocket hides behind Wobbuffet.
Wobbuffet, do something!" Jessie cries out.
Wobbuffet uses Mirror Coat and blocks the attack.
"Look, Wobbuffet's using it's Mirror Coat!" Brock says.
Soon, the Ice Beam attack gets reflected by the Mirror Coat, but the force knocks Wobbuffet and Team Rocket back while the Ice Beam goes towards Articuno.
"Quick, dodge it, Articuno!" Todd cries out.
"Articuno, watch out!" Mew cries out.
Articuno does so as the attack hits the mountain side and Articuno is sent downward by falling rocks.
"Articuno!" Todd and Mew cry out.
Todd, Mew, Tomo, and Molly run to the edge of the cliff, but the ledge breaks and they plummet towards the chasm below.
Pikachu, Eevee, Lillipup, Meloetta, and Skwovet leap down after them as the others rush to check on them.
"Are you okay?!" Misty calls out.
Jen calls out, "Todd! Mew! Tomo! Molly!"
"Say something!" Brock calls out.
A powerful blizzard wind comes in and blows Team Rocket away while the four friends plummet. Articuno spots them and its eyes turn red.
"Where'd that little blizzard come from?" Misty calls out.
"When Articuno was hit by that falling ice, the power it was holding back must've gotten released all at once!" Brock says.
"We have to go look for the others!" Misty says.
"But the blizzard is getting bigger!" Jen says.
Then Brock says, "We better head back to the Pokemon Center right away! We're gonna need Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy's help to find Mew and the others in this snow!"
"Okay, let's go!" Misty says.
Down in the gorge, Meloetta uses her strength to carry Pikachu, Eevee, and the others down as they search for the others Down below, Mew and the others have landed in the snow.
"Where are we?" Mew asks as she regains consciousness.
Then notices the others, "Todd! Tomo! Molly!"
Soon, the others get up.
"Take it easy, we had a real big fall," Mew says.
"I know, but I'm kinda surprised we survived it," Todd says.
Molly looks up, "We fell pretty far."
"Yeah," Tomo says.
They all look and see Articuno flying before them.
"It's Articuno!" Todd says.
"I'm glad it's safe," Molly says.
"Maybe it can help us out of here," Tomo says.
Then Todd says, "Hey, you know what? I bet it was Articuno who made sure we landed down here okay!"
"You know, I bet you're right!" Tomo says.
"Thanks for saving us, Articuno!" Todd says.
Soon, Meloetta lands on the ground with the others. The Pokemon reach their trainers.
"Pikachu! Eevee! Lillipup!" Mew happily says.
"Skwovet! Meloetta!" Tomo says, happily
"I guess Pikachu, Eevee, and the others. must've followed us down here because they wanted to make sure we're okay," Tomo says.
"Thanks guys," Tomo says.
"Yes. Thank you," Mew says.
Lillipup happily barks and licks Mew.
Suddenly, Team Rocket crash lands right behind them.
Hey! What was that?!" Mew wonders.
"Pika?" (Some ice?) Pikachu questions.
Team Rocket and their Pokemon come out of the hole.
"Out in the cold again," Jessie says.
"Yeah, and we was just getting warmed up," Meowth says.
"Now, I suppose we'll never find that Articuno," James says.
Todd says, shocked, "It's Team Rocket!"
"Eevee!" (Again!) Eevee adds
Jessie notices, "Look, it's four of the twerps and their shutter bug pal!"
Yes, and Articuno's still here, too!" James says.
"It's now or never. We gotta bring dat blue blizzard buzzard back to da boss man," Meowth says.
"Wobb-uffet!" (And quickly!) Wobbuffet says.
"We'll get Articuno this time, won't we, team?!" Jessie says.
James and Meowth cheer, "Yeah!"
We'll see about that!" Mew angrily says.
Pikachu and Eevee say (Bring it!)
Mew turns to Articuno, "You saved us, first! Now it's our turn to save you!"
"Go, Articuno! And hurry!" Todd calls out.
"We'll handle these creeps!" Tomo says.
"Foist we gotta immobilate that pesky little Pikachu and Eevee!" Meowth says.
"Arbok, hit it with your Poison Sting attack!" Jessie calls out.
James does the same, "Send in a Sludge attack, Weezing!"
Both Pokemon charge and attack. The attacks close in on Mew and the others, but Articuno saves them with a Powder Snow.
"What was that?!" Todd asks.
"Articuno just used Powder Snow attack!" Mew says.
"Dey didn't woik! Articuno used it's Powder Snow!" Meowth panics.
Then Jessie says, "Let's both attack it! Arbok, use your Poison Sting attack, now!"
Weezing, use your Sludge attack!" James says.
Arbok fires, but Articuno disappears in order to avoid it, and the same for Weezing's attacks.
"Wow! That's fast!" Molly says.
"Articuno's got amazing Agility!" Todd says.
Articuno charges another Ice Beam.
James panics, "Here comes another Ice Beam!"
Team Rocket cowers behind Wobbuffet
"Quick! Just do like you did before!" Jessie cries out.
"Wobb-uffet!" (I'm on it!) Wobbuffet says.
Articuno fires the Ice Beam, but Wobbuffet blocks it with Mirror Coat and reflects it, but goes flying back with Team Rocket in the process. This time, however, Articuno dodges with Agility before using Blizzard.
"That's Articuno's strongest attack! Blizzard!" Todd says.
The attack manages to blow Team Rocket through the wall of the mountain and away.
Team Rocket cries out, "We're blasting off again!"
"Wobb-uffet!" (Now that's cold!) Wobbuffet cries out.
"Well, they're gone," Todd says.
"That Blizzard attack blasted them away," Mew says.
Soon, a light shines down as the clouds part and reveal the sun.
"The sun's coming out again!" Tomo says.
"Yeah!" Molly says.
They all look and see Articuno sparkling. Everyone is astonished.
"Big, powerful and majestic! If I can get it. That's exactly the shot I've been waiting for!" Todd says as he gets out his camera, and takes the picture, "Articuno, you're the best."
Articuno then ascends to the sky.
"You know, it's almost like Articuno knew you wanted its picture," Mew says.
"You know what, Ash? I kinda think it did," Todd says.
"So do I," Tomo says.
"I agree," Molly says.

Suddenly, they hear Misty's voice, "Mew! Molly!"
The four look behind to find a snowmobile coming their way with some of their friends and Officer Jenny riding in
"Todd! Tomo!" Brock calls out.
"Pikachu! Eevee! Meloetta! Skwover! Lillipup!" Jen calls out.
"We've been looking everywhere!" Officer Jenny says.
"Articuno saved us!" Mew says.
"It just flew away!" Todd says.
Everyone looks up and sees Articuno flying away.
"It's so beautiful!" Misty says.
"Yeah, and it's really strong, too," Tomo says.
"It's quite a sight to see," Jenny says.
Brock turns to Todd, "Todd, did you get a picture of it?"
"I sure did. Wait till you see it, it's perfect!" Todd says.
Soon, they arrive at the Pokemon Center.
Later that evening, outside the Pokémon Center.
"What? You're going to hang around here?" Mew asks, surprised.
"Yep," Todd says, "I want to stay and take a lot more shots of the Pokemon that live in the mountains."
"Okay. I guess that means we're gonna have to go on without you, then," Mew says.
"That's okay. Besides, it seems you got a new friend to travel with you," Todd says, and looks to Lillipup.
"Yeah. Lillipup decides to come and be one of my Pokemon friends," Mew says.
Todd says, "So long, Mew. Good luck in the Johto League. I'll be rooting hard for you." and extends his hand.
Mew takes Todd's hand and shakes.
"Thanks a lot. Good luck with your pictures," Mew says.
"Yeah," Todd says.
And now, Mew and her friends say goodbye to Todd as they continue on their journey. Though they now go their own separate ways, one thing will always unite them: their successful quest to capture an image of the legendary Pokemon. A magnificent creature, and a magnificent achievement for them all. In the Pokemon Center, Todd's picture of Articuno is revealed to be hanging proudly inside the Snowtop Peak Pokémon Center.
Later that night, Team Rocket is shivering inside a small cave in the mountains.
I'm very cold!" James whines.
"I'm freezing!" Jessie complains.
"I'm frozen!" Meowth adds.
Then James says, "I'm so sleepy."
Jessie: Me, too. I'm exhausted," Jessie says.
"Goodnight, Jess," James says, tired.
"Goodnight, James," Meowth says.
"Hey! Stay awake!" Meowth screams and scratches Jessie and James' faces.
Jessie cries out, "What's the big idea?!"
"We're exhausted! We need rest!" James panics.
Meowth shouts, You can't sleep! If you sleep when it's freezing like dis, you might never wake up again!"
Jessie soon realizes that Meowth is right, "I wouldn't like that."
"We have to stay awake, no matter what," James says.
And through the rest of the night, Team Rocket tries to stay away in the freezing cold.
