Episode: 84: The Dunsparce Deception
Mew and her friends continue on their way to Olivine City, and the Johto League gym there. Soon, Mew and her friends arrive on the outskirts of a small town.
And soon, Pikachu and Sparkle spot something to their right. Everyone soon does the same
"Hey, guys, look over there," Tomo says.
"What is it, Tomo?" Mew asks.
The group turns to see a net poking out of the grass.
"Somebody's hunting bug game," Brock says.
And soon enough, they see a young boy with dark teal color hair, brown eyes, wears blue shorts and a pale cerulean shirt with a white collar.
He searches around, "None around here." And taps the ground with the tip of his net, "Nothing over there."
Molly calls out, "Hi!"
"Whatcha doing?" Jen asks.
"Looking for some kind of bug Pokemon?" Brock asks
Yep! I'm looking all over trying to find a Dunsparce," The boy says.
"Dunsparce?" Molly replies.
"I think I know that one," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.
Soon, it shows a picture of a Dunsparce. Dunsparce is a serpentine, and somewhat insectoid, Pokémon with a primarily yellow body, blue underside, and blue-and-cream-striped back. Its head is round with a wide mouth extending under its jowls and curving up toward the middle of its face. Its chin is blue with two rounded prongs. Its eyes—round and rimmed with blue—are kept closed, revealing its cream-colored eyelids. On Dunsparce's upper back are two tiny white wings. Its body ends in a drill-like tail.
"Dunsparce, the Land Snake Pokémon. A Normal Type, When discovered, the Dunsparce uses its tail to burrow into the earth and evade capture," Dexter says.
"Looks cool," Tomo says.
Then Mew asks, "Are you looking for a Dunsparce that ran away?"
"No, I'm out here trying to catch myself a wild Dunsparce," the boy says.
"Well, do you have a Pokémon that can battle if you find one?" Brock asks.
"Oh, sure," The boy says, and calls his Pokemon.
Which is a Caterpie.
"Aww, it's a Caterpie," Misty says.
"And a really cute one," Mew says.
"Cool. I really get excited to see Bug Pokemon," Tomo says.
"I get excited around them, too," The boy agrees.
Soon, the boy introduces himself, "Oh, I'm Bucky. Who are you?"
"I'm Mew, it's nice to meet you," Mew
"And my name's Misty," Misty says.
"I'm Brock, nice to meet you, Bucky," Brock says.
"I'm Tomo," Tomo says.
"My name is Molly," Molly says.
"And I'm Jen," Jen says.
Then Misty asks, "So tell us, Bucky, why are you out here looking for a wild Dunsparce?"
"Well…" Bucky replies with a sheepish laugh, and says.
Suddenly, someone calls out to him, "Hey, Bucky!"
Bucky, Mew, and the others turn their heads to see a whole line of children walking down the road. And each of them has a Dunsparce.
A boy calls out, "Come on! We're all going over to the park to play with our Pokémon!"
"I'll be there in a little while!" Bucky calls out.
"Okay, hurry up!" The boy calls out.
As the kids walk along, they talk about what they did with their Dunsparce the day before.
"Boy, Bucky, looks like almost every kid in town has a Dunsparce!" Mew says.
"Just about," Bucky says.
At the playground, all the kids are comparing and talking about their Dunsparce.
?: Everybody says my Dunsparce is bigger than your Dunsparce is.
?: Well, they're wrong because mine's definitely bigger!
?: Mine's bigger!
?: No, mine is!
?: Here, I can measure em for you.
Then another boy gets to measure.
?: Who wins?
?: Which one's the biggest?
The boy suddenly busts out laughing.
?: Mine is, by five millimeters!
Elsewhere, another Dunsparce comes out of the ground.
?: Aren't my Dunsparce's wings just beautiful?
?: I think they're all beautiful.
?: Look! I put polish on mine.
?: Wow! Pretty!
?: How'd you get em so shiny?
?: Here's the secret…
As the girls hear the secret to polishing a Dunsparce's wings to the point of shining, else where on the playground…
?: This is my Dunsparce Daily Picture Diary. (hands the diary to the right)
?: Let me see. In the morning, your Dunsparce eats breakfast and goes to sleep. At noon, Dunsparce eats lunch and goes to sleep. And at night, Dunsparce eats dinner and goes to sleep. That's sad. All it does is eat and sleep.
?: Well, what does your Dunsparce do all day?
?: Here, look.
The boy shares his own pictures of his Dunsparce.
?: It eats breakfast and goes to sleep, it eats lunch and goes to sleep and it eats dinner and goes to sleep.
? & ?: HOW'S THAT ANY DIFFERENT?
?: Cause mine's so much cuter than yours is!
Elsewhere in the playground.
?: Okay, Dunsparce, fly!
The Dunsparce soon lifts itself off the ground.
?: Mine flies, too! Go, Dunsparce!
?: So can mine! Go, Dunsparce!
?: Fly, Dunsparce!
?: Okay, now try to go higher!
?: Mine's taking off, too!
As the kids watch the flying contest, Mew and the others watch.
"They're all having lots of fun," Misty says.
And Brock points out, "It seems like every kid in town has a Dunsparce except you, Bucky."
"That's true," Bucky says.
"How did that happen?" Jen asks.
Bucky explains, "You see, my Grandfather got kinda sick a few months ago, so my mom and my dad and me went back to our hometown to visit him. After a couple of weeks, he got better, so we came home. When we got home, a whole bunch of Dunsparce came in from out of nowhere, and everybody caught one!"
"Except you," Mew points out.
"So, what'd you do?" Misty asks.
"I looked as hard as I could for a Dunsparce, but I couldn't find even one. There weren't any left for me," Bucky answers.
"The Dunsparce got sparce," Brock says.
"This is nothing to joke about!" Misty angrily says.
"Well, I can sure see why you want a Dunsparce of your own, Bucky," Tomo says.
"Yeah, they're real cuties," Molly says
"Yeah, and they do a whole bunch of r…" Bucky explains.
But before he can finish, someone calls out to him, "Hey, Bucky! Hurry up, we're almost ready to start!"
"Ready to start what?" Bucky asks.
"We're having our Dunsparce race through an obstacle course. You can race, too," The boy says.
"But I don't have a Dunsparce, remember?" Bucky points out.
"You can use your Caterpie. Come on, let's go!" The boy says, and drags Bucky away.
"Okay," Bucky says.
But Caterpie and Dunsparce aren't that much alike," Misty says.
Soon, the Dunsparce and Bucky's Caterpie are at the starting line.
The boy calls out, "Ready?! Set! GO!"
And with that, the race is underway as the kids cheer on their Pokemon, though Caterpie is slowly falling behind.
Misty nervously says, "Well, slow and steady wins the race, right?"
"Not when you're as slow and steady as Caterpie," Brock says.
"True. Dunsaprce is larger than Caterpie so they have their advantage.
As the group watches the race continue, Team Rocket also watches from nearby.
"Every kid in town must have a Dunsparce. Dere's gotta be dozens of them crawling around this dump!" Meowth says.
"It's ridiculous!" Jessie says, dissatisfied, "Who'd want a slithery, slimy, snaky Pokemon like that?"
"It sounds like it'd be absolutely perfect for us! "James says.
But Jessie says, "We can't be distracted, we gotta focus on Pikachu and Eevee.
Team Rocket turns to their immediate right and Mew and the others.
Hang in there, Caterpie!" Mew calls out.
"Pika Pika!" (You can do it!) Pikachu calls out.
"Eevee Eevee! Eevee!" (Go! Caterpie! Go!) Eevee calls out.
"We can't lose this time," Meowth says.
"Not with the ingenious plan we've cooked up," James says.
Come on, let's get things started," Jessie agrees.
"Right!" James and Meowth.
Soon, Bucky's Caterpie starts climbing some stairs.
Bucky cheers, "That's it, Caterpie! You can do it!"
Soon, a Dunsparce comes up from behind.
The boy calls out, "Fly! Fly right over it!"
Dunsparce does so and reaches the top and slides down the slides.
The boy says, "You're already one lap behind, Bucky. Better hurry!"
"Don't give up! Keep going, Caterpie!" Bucky calls out.
But soon, Caterpie goes back down the stairs.
"Caterpie!" Mew cries out.
Caterpie ends up knocking itself out as it reaches the bottom
Bucky rushes to his Pokemon, "Caterpie!" and picks up his Pokemon, "Caterpie, are you okay?" But Caterpie is out cold.
Bucky stands up, "You should rest." Then turns to the other kids, "I'm sorry, guys. Caterpie's had enough for today. See ya tomorrow!" and runs off.
"Poor Bucky," The girl says, sadly.
Then glares at the boy, "Timothy!"
Timothy holds his hands out in defense, "I didn't mean it! I was only trying to win the race."
Soon, Mew and the others walk behind Bucky as he heads home.
"Don't worry, Caterpie. That course was way too tough. You just relax," Bucky says.
Caterpie agrees.
"Bucky's a really nice trainer," Misty says.
"Yeah," Mew agrees.
"It's too bad he doesn't have a Dunsparce like all the other kids do," Brock says.
Caterpie is soon recalled into its Pokéball.
"You have a good rest in there, okay, Caterpie?" Bucky says.
Then Mew says, "Bucky! I just got an idea. What if we helped you find a Dunsparce?"
"What?" Bucky says, confused.
"Yeah. Maybe you just need more eyes to help you out," Tomo says.
"And you got over a dozen eyes," Jen says.
"If we all look together, I'm sure we can find one," Brock says.
"Then you can both play with all the other kids," Misty says.
"And have a friend for Caterpie," Molly adds.
All the Pokemon agree to help.
"Sure! I'd love a Dunsparce!" Bucky happily says.
Mew then calls out her Pokemon, "Chikorita, Totodile, Noctowl, Zo, Dratini, I choose you! Come on out, guys!"
All the Pokemon Mew choose come out of their Pokeballs.
Mew shows the picture of Dunsaprce of the Pokemon, "Okay, everybody, take a good look at this Pokemon. It's a Dunsparce, now go out and do your best to find one!"
All Pokemon agree and begin to search.
Misty does the same, "Poliwhirl, Illumise, Volbeat, Sentrets, Totodile, come out and help them!
Misty's Pokemon comes out,
Brock does the same, "Golbat! Grooky! Winter! Purrloin Let's go!"
Even Molly calls out her Pokemon, "Teddiursa, Yamper, Pawmo! Go!"
Jen does the same, "Riolu! Flora! Wooper! Murkrow!"
And Tomo "Sandslash! Absol! Sage! Blitzel! I choose you!"
Soon, all the Pokemon come out of their Pokeballs.
"Misty, you guys sure have lots of cool Pokemon," Bucky says, impressed.
"That's true. It just goes to show you that with lots of hard work and a little luck, you can catch lots of Pokemon, too," Misty says.
"That's awesome!" Bucky happily says.
Suddenly, Psyduck materializes on its own.
Misty turns to her Pokemon, "Psyduck, are you gonna help us look, too?"
But Psyduck just looks confused as to what's going on.
"Maybe that's a good thing," Misty sheepishly says.
Soon, everyone is hunting for Dunsparce.
"I don't see any around here, do you?" Mew says.
"Pika. Pika Pika," (Nothing. At least not yet.) Pikachu says.
"None down here," Misty says.
"No wonder Bucky's had such a hard time finding one," Brock says.
"Yeah. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack," Tomo says.
Meanwhile, Togepi comes across something, and it moves away underground, prompting Togepi to follow it. It doesn't go far and stops right by Sparkle. Soon, a Dunsparce pokes its head out from underground and Bucky soon sees it.
"Look, it's a Dunsparce! Bucky says, surprised.
Mew calls out, "Don't let it get away!"
"Oh. Yeah," Bucky says.
But as Bucky is distracted, the Dunsparce goes back underground.
Sparkle calls out, "Pika!" (Come back!)
Bucky runs up to where the Dunsparce was, as does Mew, Misty, and Brock.
"What happened?" Brock asks.
"You found a Dunsparce?" Misty asks.
"Yeah, it popped its head up and then it disappeared," Bucky says.
"Alright, we're gonna have to dig it back out!" Mew says.
"Ow!" Tomo yelps from the distance.
"Tomo!" Jen and Molly cry out.
The others rush over to see what has happened. Soon enough, they find Tomo sitting on the ground rubbing his back with a Pokemon on the ground as Jen and Molly show concern.
"What happened?" Misty asks.
"A large Dunsparce lands on my back, and it hurts!" Tomo says.
"And then Tomo's Pokeball fell out and landed on Dunsparce," Jen says.
"And then the Pokeball catches the large Dunsparce," Molly adds.
Tomo rubs his back and holds the Pokeball, "Sorry Bucky, I was trying to help you find a Dunsparce, but ended up catching one myself."
"That's okay Tomo. A catch is a catch, so that Dunsaprce belongs to you," Bucky says.
"And now you have a new friend," Mew says.
As Mew speakers Team Rocket's balloon flies in from behind and at the right moment, a net is dropped down on Pikachu, Sparkle, Togepi, Meloetta, Skwovet, Totodile, and some of the others.
"What's going on?!" Bucky asks, shocked.
Team Rocket laughs in triumph, and begins the motto.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble, we just dropped out net!
James:
And make it double, let's see what we get!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James!
Jessie:
Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!
Meowth:
MEOWTH! DAT'S RIGHT!
"Them again!" Brock says.
"How come you're dressed up like pirates?!" Misty questions.
"Because..." Jessie says.
Then she and James shout, "BECAUSE!"
Misty staggers at Team Rocket's response.
Then Mewoth comes up, "I tawt we was dressed up like pirates because dere was a mix-up at de dry cleaners."
"Hey, look! We've caught two Pikachu! And Eevee Chikorita, Two Totodile Togepi, Meloetta, Skwovet, Teddiursa, and a few more too!" James says.
"Yo-ho-ho!" Jessie shouts.
"Yeah? Well they're not gonna stay caught for long!" Misty says.
"Chikorita, use your Razor Leaf!" Mew calls out.
Chikorita tries to do so, but the attack fails.
"Try all you want, your Razor Leaf attacks aren't gonna cut it today!" Jessie says.
"We reinforced de net wit an extra strong steel coatin'!" Meowth adds.
Mew then gets out her other Pokeball, "Then we'll just have to use Cyndaquil's Flamethrower attack!"
Cyndaquill comes out, launches the attack and in no time, all the Pokemon are free.
Meowth says, "I knew we shoulda paid extra to get it fire-proof!"
"That really burns me up!" James replies.
Jessie shouts, "Stop your blabbering, we can't let those Pokemon get away!"
"Quick, Poliwhirl, use your Water Gun!" Misty calls out.
Poliwhirl's attack lands, causing the balloon to crash land while Meowth winds up face to face with a Dunsparce. And then a smaller Dunsparce appears nearby.
"Hurry, Cyndaquil, hit em with another Flamethrower!"
Cyndaquill launches the attack, Team Rocket tries to hide behind the downed balloon basket, but the flames cause the whole thing to explode, sending Team Rocket flying while Meowth holds on to the two Dunsparce it found.
"Hey, look! We got two Dunsparce!" Meowth says.
"A Dunsparce?" James questions.
Just then the small Dunsparce leaves Meowth's grasp and begins to fall.
"Correction, only one Dunsparce," Meowth says.
Jessie and James cry out, "It's better than nothing!"
Jen cries out, "Look, one of them got away from Team Rocket!"
"It's falling!" Misty cries out.
"I'll get it!" Mew says and rushes as fast as she can.
Mew rushes as she cries out, "I'm coming, Dunsparce!"
Dunsparce tries to flap its wings, but unable to stop itself from falling and falls towards the ground. Mew quickly pounces forward and catches Dunsaprce in the nick of time. The small Dunsparce looks up to see Mew who smiles.
"Oh good. You're okay," Mew says.
The small Dunsparce soon climbs to Mew's shoulder and gives her a few kisses.
Bucky however, feels discouraged, "I almost had a Dunsparce."
And is soon looking sorry for himself.
"Come on, try to cheer up, Bucky," Misty says.
"But you guys all helped me find that Dunsparce, and it was my fault I didn't catch it. I'm sorry. I shoulda got it in my net right away," Bucky replies.
"We all make mistakes, Bucky," Tomo says.
"Tomo's right. I mean, we were trying to help you find Dunsparce, but Tomo and I ended up getting our own," Mew says.
The small Dunspace then gives Mew a snuggle her cheek. And the big Dunsparce Tomo has nuzzles Tomo's leg.
"We'll just go and find ourselves another Dunsparce," Misty says.
"Yeah. If Mew and Tomo are able to find one, then you can find one too," Molly says.
"Yeah, there's gotta be more where that one came from," Brock agrees.
Bucky smiles, "Great! Thanks a lot, you guys!"
Meanwhile, Team Rocket are looking at their unexpected catch.
Meowth cheers, "We did it! We caught a Dunsparce!"
"Yeah? So what?" Jessie replies, disappointed, "A boring Pokemon like Dunsparce is nothing to celebrate."
"It's better than no Pokemon at all, ain't it?" Meowth says.
But James says, "I'm not sure the boss would agree with you, Meowth. He'd hardly notice one Dunsparce."
"Yeah, one Dunsparce ain't much, I guess," Jessie says.
Then Jessie has an idea, "That's it! The boss wouldn't care about one Dunsparce, but he would care about dozens!"
"You're absolutely right, Jessie!" James agrees, "All we have to do is steal the Dunsparce from those kids!"
"Yeah, I bet that'd make the big guy happy!" Meowth agrees.
"And I think I have a brilliant plan that'll make it easy for us to get those Dunsparce! So let's get to it!" Jessie says with confidence."
"Yeah!" James and Meowth agree
And with that, Team Rocket set their plan into motion.
James rings the bell as he calls out, "Come see the new 3D virtual Pokemon show on the big stage in the park!"
The kids quickly listen in and are interested.
?: Hey, maybe it's like moving holograms!
?: Maybe it's those computer controlled puppets like in the amusement parks.
?: It sounds cool. Wanna go see it?
? & ?: Yeah!
Soon, the kids are in front of the stage ready for the show.
"Now, get ready for our spectacular presentation of, Dunsparce vs Moltres!" Jessie announces.
?: There's a Dunsparce in it!
?: This show's gonna be excellent!
The curtain parts, and reveals that instead of actual Pokemon, or even artificial ones, it's just James and Meowth in costumes.
"This costume's embarrassing," Meowth says, dressed as a Dunsparce.
"At least yours isn't humiliating like mine,'' James agrees, dressed as a Moltres.
Jessie whispers to the boys, "Stop your whining and get on with the show."
Then announces in the megaphone, "Now, our story opens with a fated meeting. The battle between Dunsparce and Moltres is about to begin!"
"This stinks. I thought it was gonna be robots, not actors dressed up in Pokemon costumes," Timothy says.
Another boy says, "It's like trick-or-treat time."
"Wobbuffet!" (Absolutely!) Wobbuffet says.
The kids are shocked when Wobbuffet pops up before Jessie comes in and kicks Wobbuffet away.
"You're not going to upstage me!" Jessie angrily says.
Timothy says, annoyed, "Even our school play was a lot better than this!"
"You're right," A girl says.
"Wobbuffet," (Could be right!) Wobbuffet says.
Jessie kicks Wobbuffet again, "Get backstage and stay there, you!"
She then announces, "The mighty battle between Dunsparce and Moltres has begun! Er, Moltres uses a Wing Attack!"
James calls out, "Wing wing…" as he pokes his wing at Meowth.
Meowth shouts, "Hey! Watch where you're wingin'!"
The kids aren't impressed.
"Dunsparce protects itself by using its Defense Curl!" Jessie announces.
Meowth tries to curl up into a ball, but to no avail, "Jessie, I can't even move in this costume."
"Then Dunsparce uses its Glare!" Jessie says.
Meowth whispers, "I don't know how to do Glare, neither."
"Oh, that's right," Jessie realizes, "We didn't rehearse that, did we? Just look nasty like always."
Meowth feels offended, "Don't insult me, Jess! I ain't an actor, you know!"
"Then fake it!" Meowth says, and boots Meowth on his feet.
Jessie boots him back onto the stage. Dejectedly, Meowth turns to James.
"Glare!" Meowth says.
"Glare at what?" James says, confused.
Meowth sighs, "Who knows."
Jessie continues, "Moltres shakes off the attack with a dazzling Fire Spin!"
"How am I supposed to pull that one off, Jessie?" James asks.
"Just use the red streamers I gave you, James," Jessie says.
James decides to do just that.
"Oh! You got me!" Meowth says.
One of the kids replies, "Man. That's weak."
Jessie announces, "Moltres uses a Sky Attack!"
"A what? Jessie, I don't even know what a Sky Attack is," James says, stunned.
"Neither do they! Just fake it! Do anything!" Jessie says.
"Okay," James says and grabs Meowth.
"Hey, wait!" Meowth panics.
But James throws Meowth in the air, "Sky Attack!"
Meowth ends up landing far and away from the stage.
"That didn't even look like a Sky Attack,"
"Which just goes to show how creative a Moltres can be. And now…" Jessie says with a smile.
And James says, "For a limited time only, we're offering to trade each and every one of you a Moltres for a Dunsparce."
Revealing one of the Pokemon Switch Machines. The kids are amazed by the offer.
"This is the chance of a lifetime, kiddies," Jessie says.
"It's now or never boys and girls," James says.
"We can get a Moltres for a Dunsparce?" Timothy asks.
"That's right!" Jessie answers.
"For we are the messengers of Moltres! Traveling the world as ambassadors of the mighty flaming Pokemon!" James says.
"Should we do it?" A boy asks.
"Well, their show wasn't so hot, but Moltres are really cool! I'm trading!" Timothy says.
Soon, all the kids head up to the machine, save for one girl. Meanwhile, Bucky, Mew and the others are out of luck.
"I can't believe it. We looked for ours and didn't find one Dunsparce," Tomo says.
We probably would've been better off looking for Team Rocket and taking the one they stole," Misty says.
"Yeah. We should have gone after them instead," Jen agrees.
"I know you gotta get going, but I'm not giving up yet. I'm gonna keep on looking till I find a Dunsparce myself," Bucky says.
Mew says, "Atta boy, Bucky!"
Suddenly, they see the crying of sad children.
Bucky asks, "Timothy, why's everybody crying?"
"Our Dunsparce. They're gone," Timothy says.
Bucky is shocked, "Wha?"
"How did it happened?" Molly asks.
Timothy explains, "Two people came and said they'd trade our Dunsparce for Moltres, but the Pokéballs we got were all fakes. They were empty."
"They took off with all your Dunsparce and you got nothing, right?" Mew replies.
"Yeah," A boy says.
Then Misty asks, "Do you remember what the two people looked like?"
One girl says, "Yeah, she was bossy with red hair. And he was wimpy with blue hair."
And they had a Meowth and a Wobbuffet with them," A young boy says.
Everyone but Mew says, "That's Team Rocket!"
"Yeah. Big surprise," Mew says.
Bucky asks the girl with a yellow ribbon, "Did they get yours?"
"No way! I didn't want to trade my Dunsparce for any Pokemon," The girl says.
"Those rotten thieves," Mew says, infuriated.
Bucky turns to Mew, "Mew, could you and the others find my friends' Dunsparce? Everybody worked really hard to raise em and train em and they all really love their Dunsparce more than anything. Please, Mew."
"Don't worry! We'll do everything we can to get those Dunsparce back!" Mew agrees.
"Thanks a lot, guys!" Bucky says happily
Meanwhile, Team Rocket are having trouble catching the Dunsparce that have escaped.
"Come back!" James chases in one direction.
Jesse chases in the other direction, "Here, Dunsparce!"
On the ground, the Dunsparce are popping out of the dirt before going back under.
"Oh, every single Dunsparce we stole got away!" Meowth cries out.
"Jessie told me to check on them, so I popped open the Pokéballs to make sure they were still inside," James says.
"Don't you blame me!" Jessie glares at James.
Then says, "Come on! We've got to re-catch those Dunsparce before they're gone for good!"
Team Rocket try to do so, but are having trouble
James chases one, "Over here!"
"Over where, James?" Jessie chases another.
Over dere, Jessie," Meowth chases
Wobbuffet: Wobuffet! ("Keep looking!")
James: Did you hear that?
Jessie: Quick! Over there!
Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet! ("Must be close!")
James: Over where?
Meowth: Right over dere!
Soon, Jessie cries out, "HOLD IT! We won't catch any this way!"
Suddenly, Mew calls out, "Hey! Give us back those Dunsparce!" as she and the others show up.

"Yeah, and if you want em, you're gonna have to battle us to get em!" Meowth says.
"This is Deja vu, all over again," Misty replies.
Mew then tosses her Pokeball as she calls out, "Alright! I chose Totodile!"
Totodile then comes out of the Pokeball.
Mew calls out, "Totodile, Water Gun attack!"
Totodile fires the attack.
Then Jessie calls out, "Wobbuffet, send it right back!"
Wobbuffet used Counter to reflect the attack right back to Totodile.
"Uh oh!" Mew cries out.
"Ole!" Jessie cheers.
Misty calls out, "I choose Poliwhirl!"
And Poliwhirl comes out.
Misty turns to Mew, "Mew, let's team up against them!"
"Okay!" Mew says.
Misty calls out the attack, "Poliwhirl, Water Gun attack!"
Poliwhirl fires the attack.
Jessie calls out, "Wobbuffet, use your Counter again!
Wobbuffet does so, but Poliwhirl avoids the reflected attack.
Okay, Totodile, Water Gun attack!" Mew calls out.
Totodile fires its own Water Gun, nailing Wobbuffet.
James calls out, "Victreebel, I need you!"
Victreebel comes out of the Pokeball, but tries to eat James instead.
"I need you to get off of me!" James cries out.
Soon, Timothy and one of the children shows up.
Timothy sees, "My Dunsparce!"
"Everybody's must be here!" The girl says.
The Dunsparce head towards their trainers.
Jessie notices, "Where do you think you're going?" and calls out her Pokemon, "Arbok, go!"
Arbok comes out and blocks them
"WE gotta do something," Mew says.
"Let's use our Dunsparce," Tomo says.
Timothy agrees, "Let's use our Dunsparce to help Furret battle Arbok!"
Mew, Tomo, Timothy, and the other kids call out, "Dunsparce, use Screech attack!"
And the Dunsparce perform the attack. The noise from the attack manages to paralyze Arbok in its tracks, allowing the Dunsparce to reunite with their trainers.
Jessie calls out, "Arbok, don't let those things get away!"
Arbok rears up to stop them.
Mew, Tomo, Timothy and the kids call out, "Now, Glare attack!"
The eyes of the Dunsparce turn red, and the attack manages to paralyze Arbok.
Noticing this, Jessie calls out, "What's the matter with you, Arbok?! Fight them back! Do something!" But Arbok won't move.
"Let's do it!" Timothy says.
"Together!" Tomo says.
"Alright then…" Mew says.
Then Mew, Tomo, and the kids call out, "Take Down attack!
All the Dunsparce charge and the combined attacks land, sending Arbok and Team Rocket flying.
"We almost had all those Dunsparce!" Jessie cries out.
"Maybe we can catch our own," Meowth says.
"No way!" James cries out.
Then all three scream "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
"WOBBU!" (HELP ME!) Wobbuffet cries out
Soon, all the kids are reunited with their Dunsparce.
Timothy: I'm glad you're back!
?: I'm never gonna let you go ever again, Dunsparce.
?: They're all safe!
"Yeah," Bucky agrees
Soon, something pops up out of the ground. A wild Dunsparce.
"Look!" Misty says, surprised.
"There's that Dunsparce!" Brock says.
"It's really here!" Jen says.
"Lucky!" Molly happily says.
"Bucky, now's your chance!" Tomo says.
"Yeah! Catch it, before it gets away!" Mew says.
"Right!" Bucky says and calls out his Pokemon, "I choose Caterpie!"
Caterpie comes out and nails Dunsparce with a fast Tackle Attack, but Dunsparce retaliates with a Tail Whip.
Bucky calls out, "Caterpie, get up and use your String Shot!"
Caterpie does so and wraps Dunsparce up in the String Shot.
Now, Tackle it!" Bucky calls out.
Caterpie charges and nails Dunsparce easily.
Bucky sees his chance, "I got ya now! Pokeball, go!" And throws his Pokeball.
The Pokeball hits, wobbles twice, and finally pings.
Bucky picks up the Pokeball and cheers, "I did it! I caught my own Dunsparce!"
Everyone starts celebrating.
"You were great, too, Caterpie," Mew says.
Later, back at the playground, another race is underway, with Timothy's and Bucky's Dunsparce neck and neck.
Timothy calls out, "Hang in there, Dunsparce!"
"Don't give up, Dunsparce! Caterpie's cheering for you, too!"Bucky calls out.
Meanwhile, Mew and her friends are watching the kids and their Dunsparce race.
"He's really happy now, isn't he?" Misty says.
"You bet," Brock says.
Bucky turns around and calls out, "Bye everyone! Thanks a lot!"
"So long! Take good care of your new Dunsparce!" Mew says.
"Thanks, and do the same for your Dunsaprce!" Bucky happily says.
Thanks to some help from Mew and her friends, Bucky finally catches his Dunsparce. And unexpectedly, Mew and Tomo catch a Dunsparce as well. Saying goodbye to their friends. Mew and her friends continue on their road to the Johto League, and to their next adventure.
