Episode 85: The Wayward Wobbuffet!
Today, Mew and her friends continue on their journey to their next destination: Olivine City. But unknown to them, a familiar trio of troublemakers are lying in wait for them.
"Here they come, it's time to take our places and start the show," James says.
Jessie turns to Meowth, "Is everything ready Meowth?"
"I just double checked da PokéPod an' it's woikin' poifect!" Meowth says.
Mew and her friends continue to walk along the way, when they hear voices. They look to see a pair of scientists, but it's really Team Rocket in disguise for another Pokemon stealing scheme.
James says, "Well, Professor, it seems fine. Do you think we finally fixed it?"
"I just don't know," Jessie says.
"If only we could test it," James says.
Mew and the others approach them.
"Is there something we can help you with?" Mew asks.
James stands up, picking up some strange pod and says, "Well, my associate and I have created a new device that we think can will revolutionize Pokemon training."
"That thing looks interesting," Brock says.
Jessie also stands up, "I'm so glad you think so, young man. We call it the PokePod. It's a Pokemon transport device made of a super tough plastic that's harder than diamonds. It's absolutely indestructible!"
"We overheard you say 'fixed it'. Was it broken?" Tomo asks.
"Are you gonna test it out?" Jen asks.
"Of course, we're going to test it," Jessie says.
Before Mew can react, Jessie picks up Pikachu, "Here, we'll take your cute little Pikachu and put it inside to make sure our PokePod works properly." And places him inside the pod.
Then does the same for Eevee, "And I think there's just enough room for this sweet Eevee."
Once both Pokemon are in the Pokepod, the device soon locks.
"The mechanism is working perfectly. The PokéPod is locked and now it's impossible to open without the key!" James says.
Pikachu cries out, "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)
"Eevee Eevee!" (Get us out of here!) Eevee cries out.
"I'm glad we could help, but please let Pikachu Eevee out of there. We gotta go! Plus, I don't think they're comfortable in it," Mew says.
But Jessie says, "Unfortunately for you, we can't do that because there's only one key for that lock."
"Even more unfortunately, we don't happen to be the ones who have the key," James says.
Meowth soon appears, "And we got another little surprise for you!"
Then Jessie and James take off their digusies, "Ta-da!"
"It's us, Team Rocket!" Meowth says.
"We know that!" Mew and her friends reply.
Then Jessie happily says, "And we've got you, Pikachu! And you too, Eevee! We've got Weezing, too. A Smokescreen, please!"
Weesing spreads out a Smokescreen, blinding our heroes while Team Rocket makes their getaway.
Mew calls out, "Come on!"
Hurry!" Misty calls out.
And Mew and her friends are on pursuit after Team Rocket.
"Hey! Come back here!" Tomo calls out.
"Drop that Pikachu!" Brock calls out.
And Jen calls out, "And Eevee too!"
Team Rocket continues to run off and soon reaches a rock where Wobbuffet is hiding.
Jessie tosses the pod to him, "Here."
"Wobbu!" (Got it!) Wobbuffet says, catching the pod.
Soon, Mew and her friends run past the rock Wobbuffet is hiding behind.
Misty shouts, "You won't get away with this!
Mew calls out, "Gimme back Pikachu and Eevee!"
Team Rocket soon comes to a stop and turns around.
Jessie waves her hands, "How can I give you what I don't have?"
"Pikachu disappeared!" Misty says, shocked.
"Eevee too!" Molly says, worried.
Mew angrily says, This isn't funny! What'd you do with Pikachu and Eevee!"
"I can't remember," Jessie answers.
"Well, we've got to be going now," James says.
"Good luck finding your Pikachu and Eevee, kid, cause you're gonna need it!" Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet!" (I agree!) Wobbuffet calls out.
Mew and the others turn to see Wobbuffet holding the Pokepod.
Pikachu and Eevee cry out, "Help us, Mew!"
Isn't Wobbuffet supposed to be hiding?" Jessie questions.
Soon, Mew understands, "I get it! You handed Pikachu and Eevee off to Wobbuffet!" and Mew runs towards them.
"Wobbuffet, make a run for it!" Jessie calls out.
Wobbuffet attempts to do so, but trips on a rock and drops the Pokepod. As the pod is sent flying, Wobbuffet falls into the river and is swept away by the current. Mew soon catches the Pokepod with her friends. Mew and her friends, and even Team Rocket watch in shock as Wobbuddet goes down the river and down the waterfall.
"That's rather unfortunate, isn't it?" Jessie says.
"Poor Wobbufet," Molly replies.
Moments later, Mew tries to open the Pokeball, but the pod won't budge.
"The lock won't even budge," Mew says.
Tomo turns to Team Rocket, "Alright, give Mew the key!"
"We don't have it," Jessie points out.
"What?!" Mew exclaims in shock.
"I'm afraid we gave the only key to Wobbuffet," Jessie says.
"The one that just went over the falls?!" Jen asks, shocked.
Soon, James is in tears, "I can't bear to think what fate may have befallen that wobbly blue blob!"
"Yes, and it's all our fault," Jessie says.
Even Meowth is in tears, "We may nevah see poor old Wobbuffet ever ever again."
Then stops the tears, "We're grief struck, so give us dat Pikachu or else, ya liddah twoip!"
"Not on your life!" Mew denies.
But then, Jessie says, "It may be Pikachu and Eevee's only hope."
The group becomes puzzled.
Jessie then explains, "That cage won't open without the key. Pikachu and Eevee can't get out and no food, air or water can get in, so your friends won't last very long. But let's say we find Wobbuffet and get that key back, we'll give you the key, you'll open the pod and save your precious Pikachu and Eevee which you'll then immediately hand over to us. So, do we have a deal?"
James taps Jessie on the shoulder, "Jess? Jess?
However, Jessie discovers Mew and the others are gone, and gets upset, "Why didn't anybody tell me they were gone?! We've got to find Wobbuffet and the key before the twerps do, now let's move out!"
Aye Aye!" James and Meowth reply.
Meanwhile, Mew and her friends run ahead towards the waterfall.
"Wobbuffet went right over this waterfall," Brock says.
"Right!" Tomo says.
"I guess we'll have to follow the river downstream," Brock says.
Then Misty asks, "How are we gonna get down there?"
Soon, Team Rocket flies overhead on their balloon.
Jessie calls out, "Remember our deal, children!"
"You get the key and we get the Pikachu and Eevee!" James calls out.
Tomo, Jen, and Molly call out, "No way!"
"There's no deal, just bring us that key!" Mew adds.
"You'll change your tune when we find the key!" Meowth says.
Team Rocket laughs as their balloon goes out of sight.
"Come on, we gotta get to Wobbuffet before they do!" Mew says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket scans the ground below in search of Wobbuffet.
"Nutin yet!" Meowth says.
"I wonder if Wobbuffet is okay," James says.
"Don't worry, James, I bet the little blob is bobbing along down there somewhere," Jessie says.
Meanwhile, Wobbuffet is floating along downstream watching the clouds, one of which looks like Jessie. Wobbuffet soon finds that he bumped into a Quagsire, startling it. Wobbuffet asks the Quagsire a question, and the Quagsire points it towards the shore.
Wobbuffet! ("Much obliged!") Wobbuffet replies.
Wobbuffet heads to the shore and into the forest while the Quagsire submerges into the river. Team Rocket soon spots Wobbuffet from the air, and Mew and her friends.
Everyone calls out, "There it is! Wobbuffet!"
Team Rocket lands the balloon and begins chasing after him. Mew and the others do the same.
Team Rocket calls out, "Wobbuffet!"
However, Wobbuffet seems to have vanished.
"Where'd Wobbuffet go now?" Misty asks.
"There it is! Up there!" James points out.
Everyone looks to see Wobbuffet up on a tree branch and starts swinging from vine to vine as he yells
"I never knew that Wobbuffet was such a swinger," Jessie says.
"It can swing all it wants, but it won't get away!" Mew says.
Soon, Mew and the others arrive at the cliff.
"Be careful guys, I almost went over the edge!" Brock says.
"That won't stop me!" Mew says.
And with that, Mew jumps off and begins to slide down the cliff. Luckily, she reaches the bottom of the cliff safely. Soon, Mew and the others follow safely as well. However, Team Rocket tumbles down the cliff and lands on the ground with a thud
"Maybe it ran into the woods," James says.
"You all okay?" Molly asks.
"Just give us a few minutes," Jessie says.
And soon, Team Rocket sees the group.
"I see you little twerps haven't found our Wobbuffet yet," James says.
"Yeah, well it looks like you haven't found it yet, either," Tomo says.
"But it must be around here, somewhere," Jessie says.
"You're right. Where he disappeared to
Just then, Pikachu calls out, "Pikachu Pika!" (Wobbufet's up there!)
Everyone looks back and up and sees Wobbufett hanging onto a branch for dear life.
"Oh, there you are!" Jessie calls out.
Wobbuffet happily calls out, "Wobbuffet! (Hey, Jessie!)
Suddenly, a big wheeler truck comes thundering round the corner.
Jessie cries out, "Hang on, Wobbuffet! Don't let go!"
Wobbuffet tries to hop down from the branch to the ground, but lands on the roof of the truck cab instead as the truck zooms on by.
"Look out!" Jen cries out.
Everyone quickly leans to the side of the cliff as the truck drives past them and down the road.
Jessie calls out, "Where do you think you're going, you hijacker! Come back here with my Wobbuffet!"
Soon, police cars turn the same corner in pursuit of the truck, causing Team Rocket to panic.
"Look! It's the police!" James panics.
Let's cheese it!" Meowth says.
Then Team Rocket quickly retreat as the police come to a stop. The window of the front car rolls down to reveal Officer Jenny.
She says, "Step aside! We have to catch that truck!"
"So do we, Officer Jenny! Please, let us come with you!" Mew says.
Meanwhile, Wobbuffet hangs on to the roof of the cab for dear life. Soon, the police start to catch up with the truck as Mew and her friends explain what happened to the police inside each car.
"I see, so you need to get that key," Jenny says.
"Right," Mew says.
"Why are you trying to catch up with that truck, Officer Jenny?" Brock asks.
"The man driving that truck is the master thief, Goneff," Jenny answers.
"Master thief Goneff?" Misty answers.
"I heard about him on the news. He's that Golem trainer who sneaks into bank vaults and jewelry stores and steals everything in sight, right?" Mew says.
"Right. He slipped away from me before, but this time, I'm gonna get him!" Jenny says.
Then Brock says, "Well, if he slips away from you again, Officer Jenny, you can always have me."
Misty grabs him by the ear and pills him back, "Brock, she already has enough problems."
Officer Jenny says via the radio, "This is Officer Jenny, he's almost there. Is everything ready?"
Meanwhile, at a bridge, the police have blocked the road.
The officer radios in, "We've sealed off the bridge. Don't worry, we'll get him."
"You're gonna stop him with a roadblock, huh?" Brock says.
"Yes. He's heading straight for it, and there's no other route he can take," Jenny says.
Up ahead, the truck swerves along the road, and Wobbuffet is having trouble holding on. In the driving seat is Goneff. He is wearing a monocle, a blue top hat with a blue suit jacket, and fancy clothes.
"Those copsters are thinking they catch me so easily, but I'm leading them on wild goose chase," Goneff says.
But then, Wobbuffet then peers down at the driver.
Goneff becomes startled, "A BLUE BUSHKA!" Then shouts at Wobbuffet, "Get out of windshield!"
Goneff starts the windshield wipers, but they don't get rid of Wobbuffet so easily as the truck heads right for the roadblock.
"Get ready! He's only a few seconds away!" The officer says.
Goneff leans out the window to reach Wobbuffet, "I will grab you with my own hands!"
Goneff soon notices the roadblock and hits the breaks as he shouts, "GET OUT OF WAY!"
The police quickly evacuate as the truck barrels through the roadblock, knocking Wobbuffet back onto the roof in the process before crossing the bridge. Soon, Officer Jenny and our heroes come to a stop.
Jenny says, "I saw what happened, is everybody okay?"
"All officers present and accounted for!" The officer answers as he salutes.
Officer Jenny talks through the radio, "Attention all units, the suspect is within the city limits! Lock down the area and block all escape routes!"
In the city, the drawbridges go up to prevent Goneff from escaping before the chase continues into the city. The truck keeps on riding along as it nears a drawbridge flanked by police cars. Goneff finally comes to a stop, as does the chase while Team Rocket flies overhead.
"Wobbuffet!" Jessie calls out.
Wobbuffet happily calls out, "Wobbu! Wo!" (Jessie! Here!)
Soon, Mew and her friends rush over with Officer Jenny.
Jenny sternly says, "You can't get away this time, now come out of that truck with your hands up!"
"If you are thinking you catch Goneff so easy, police lady, think again!" Goneff says and presses the button with a picture of a Golem on it.
The hatch from the top of the trailer opens and Wobbuffet falls inside, shocking Mew and the others. Then a Golem Hot Air Balloon rises out of the trailer with Goneff inside.
Goneff laughs, "The great Goneff bid you bye-bye!"
Soon, Wobbuffet soon pops up in the basket.
"What you are doing up here?!" Goneff demands.
Goneff tries to get at Wobbuffet, but Wobbuffet avoids him.
Goneff has enough and angrily says, "Okay! Out you are going!"
Goneff tries to violently force Wobbuffet out of the balloon, but Wobbuffet uses Counter to knock him out of the balloon instead, causing him to land on the street with a thud as multiple police officers pounce on him.
Jessie cheers, "Hooray! Wobbuffet must've used Counter!"
However, Wobbuffet calls for help as it floats away in the balloon.
There goes that key," Mew says.
Meanwhile, up in the sky. Wobbuffet still floats away on the balloon.
He then hears Jessie calling out to him, "Wobbuffet!"
Wobbuffet turns to see the Meowth balloon.
"Are you okay?!" James calls out.
Wobbuffet cries out, "Wobbu! Wobbuffet!" (Help me! Get me down!)
"I know how to get Wobbuffet back," and brings out her Pokeball, "Return!"
However, the Golem balloon goes downward, avoiding the recall beam.
Jessie turns to James, "James, bring the balloon a little closer."
You got it, Jess," James says, and does just that.
The Meowth balloon drops to Golem's balloon's level of altitude.
"Steady. Return!" and Jessie tries again.
But, once again, the recall beam is avoided as the balloon gains altitude.
Jessie glares at James, "Is that what you call steady?"
"We didn't move, Wobbuffet did!" James points out.
"Alright, get as close as you can and I'll try again," Jessie says.
The balloons are soon at the same level of altitude.
"Hold still, you blob," Jessie says, and tries to call him back once more, "Now return to your Pokéball!
The Golem balloon gains altitude again, while the Meowth balloon hits a building and rips.
"Meowth, crawl up there and do something!" Jessie says.
Wobbuffet climbs up to the edge of the basket as Meowth plugs the hole in the balloon.
Meowth sighs in relief, "That could've been a real disaster."
But then Wobbuffet jumps off the balloon getting Team Rocket's attention, but bounces off the balloon and widens the rip.
Team Rocket cries out, "We're blasting off again!"
"WOBBUFFET!" (SO AM I!) Wobbuffet cries out.
Meanwhile on ground floor, Mew tries to smash the Pokepod with a large mallet.
"Okay, you two, ready? Set!" Mew says and slams the mallet on the pod.
However, the Pokepod doesn't break and all she gets is the vibrations.
"They were right, it's indestructible!" Brock says.
"We can't break it," Jen says.
Mew sighs and says, "Looks like the only way we can get Pikachu and Eevee out of there is with that key."
Suddenly, they all hear Wobbuffet and look up to see him flying away.
Hey, that's Wobbuffet!" Mew notices.
Wobbuffet starts to come down.
It's headed for the river!" Misty says.
Mew throws her Pokeball, "Chikorita, go!"
Chikorita comes out.
Mew calls out, "Chikorita, wrap your Vine Whip around Wobbuffet and bring it back here!"
Chikorita does so, and both Mew and Chikorita pull until Wobbuffet is hanging over the open bridge and smacks into the underside. The impact causes the Vine Whip to unwrap and Wobbuffet to fall onto an oncoming speedboat, knocking the driver into the river while Wobbuffet rides away with the boat.
The man resurfaces and calls out, "Hey! Come back here, you!"
Mew and the others arrive to see the boat speeding off.
"Come on, guys! Follow that Wobbuffet!" Misty says.
Mew and her friends do just that.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket has crashed to the ground and their balloon is stuck on a tree.
"To get Pikachu and Eevee, we need that key. The key's with Wobbuffet and Wobbuffet's gone," James says.
"All of a sudden, Wobbuffet's our key player," Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet!" Jessie replies, imitating Wobbuffet.
Then James says, "I never thought I'd be saying this, but I kind of miss the little blob."
"Wobbuffet added that certain nothin'," Meowth says.
Jessie then says, "Wobbuffet!" again.
"Jessie?" James replies, noticing something.
"What is it now, James?!" Jessie questions.
"Look! Wobbuffet!" James points out.
Jessie looks forward to see Wobbuffet, still unconscious and at the wheel of the speedboard with Mew and her friends close behind
"Wobbuffet, wait!" Misty calls out.
Molly calls out, "Wobbuffet!"
Meowth also notices, "Look! The twoips are here!"
"Wobbuffet!" Jessie calls out.
Mew and the others look to see Team Rocket running along on the other side of the river.
Jessie calls out, "Listen to me, Wobbuffet! Hit the brakes! Just hit the brakes!"
However, Wobbuffet is still knocked out.
"It's no use, Wobbuffet's out like a light!" James.
Then Mew says, "I'm gonna have to get into that boat!"
"Not before I do!" Jessie says.
And with that, both Mew and Jessie jump at the same time and land on the boat. Jessie tries to knick Mew off the boat, but Mew quickly ducks her head. Wobbuffet regains consciousness and turns to Jessie and Ash, but breaks off the steering wheel in the process.
"Wobbuffet's awake again," Mew says.
"Yes, but shouldn't that steering wheel be steering?" Jessie questions.
Then the two begin to panic, and Jessie cries out, "Wobbuffet, pull the throttle back! It'll stop!"
"Wobbu!" (Yes, ma'am!) Wobbuffet says, and does just that.
However, he pushes the throttle instead and breaks it, causing the boat to speed up while Mew and Jessie hang on for dear life.
Meanwhile, Goneff is seen riding away on a motorcycle as the police give chase.
"Next time, don't leave motorcycle running, flatfeet!" Goneff says.
Meanwhile, Mew and Jessie look to notice that they're heading towards a Lapras shaped boat.
Jessie cries out, "Get out of the way!"
"We're gonna crash into it!" Mew screams.
However, the speed boat runs right up and over the paddle boat, sending the boat, Mew, and Jessie flying. At the same time Wobbuffet flies out of the boat and lands on Goneff's motorcycle.
And Goneff notices him, "Oh, it's you, you double criss-crosser!"
Meanwhile, Mew and Jessie start heading towards a bridge.
"Wobbuffet's gone! Where did it go?!" Jessie asks, shocked.
"Never mind that, look!" Mew says.
They soon look to see that they're heading towards the large platform of the bridge.
Mew quickly calls out her Pokemon, "I choose you, Totodile!"
And Totodile comes out.
Mew calls out, "Hurry, Totodile, shoot your Water Gun against that bridge!"
Totodile does so, and uses Water Gun on the bridge. Thanks to the force of the Water Gun attack, the boat has come to a stop.
"You were great, Totodile," Mew says.
Later, the two are reunited with their groups.
"So, where did Wobbuffet go?" Jessie asks.
"You guys must've seen it," Mew says.
"We saw it, alright," Brock says, sounding serious.
James also says, "We know exactly where it is."
"What?" Jessie replies in surprise, "Well, come on, then, let's go!"
Soon enough, Mew and her friends along with Team Rocket arrive at an abandoned building. The police also have Goneff surrounded who is hiding in the very building. However, there is a huge problem…
"The thief's in that building and he's holding Wobbuffet as his hostage?!" Mew asks, shocked.
"That's right," Officer Jenny says, "He's demanding we give him a helicopter so he can escape, and in exchange, he'll let the Wobbuffet go free."
Meanwhile, Team Rocket hears the incident.
"Great. Now how are we gonna get Wobbuffet back? " Jessie questions.
Then Jessie has an idea, "Hey! I just thought of a brilliant scheme!"
"Let's hear it!" James says.
Jessie whispers the plan to her teammates, and they both like it.
"That's a great idea, Jessie! Let's get to woik!" Meowth says.
Meanwhile, inside the building, Goneff has his Golem out, and has Wobbuffet tied up.
"Those police is taking long time getting our helicopter," Goneff says.
"WOBBUFFET!" Wobuffet replies.
"It is too quiet out there, I'm not liking the sound of this," Goneff says, looking out the window.
"WOBBU!" Wobbuffet says.
Goneff turns to the Pokemon, "Shut up your mouth! I do talking here!"
"WOBBU!" (?) Wobbuffet replies.
Meanwhile, outside, everyone stands and waits.
"I can't see anything from here! Can you?" Tomo asks.
"Let's check out the other side of the building, guys," Brock says.
The group does just that and spots something.
Mew notices, "Hey, look at that."
Everyone looks and sees a giant hole that was recently dug.
"I don't like what I see," Misty says.
"Me neither, Misty," Jen says.
Back with Goneff, something is heard before it bursts from the floor, and the bang appears.
"What is going down up here?!" Goneff asks, turning his head around.
There he can see smoke, and it clears up for them to see Team Rocket.
Jessie:
Prepare for trouble and bitter regret!
James:
If you don't give us back Wobbuffet!
Jessie:
To protect the world from devastation.
James:
To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love.
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie:
Jessie.
James:
James.
Jessie:
We're Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light.
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight.
Meowth:
Meowth, dat's...
Wobbuffet:
WOBBUFFET! (That is right!)
And Golem cuts in, "GOLEM!" (Back off!)
That startles Team Rocket.
"Team Rocket, huh?" Goneff responds, "Well climb back in your capsule and take off!"
"We're staying right here! That Wobbuffet belongs to me, and we're not leaving till I get it back!" Jessie refuses as he taps her shovel on the ground.
"I'm not giving to anybody back this wobbledy-goop, lady!" Goneff also refuses the demand.
But James says, "Don't be so hasty, Goneff!"
"We're here ta make a deal wit ya," Meowth says.
"What kind of deal, little big mouth?" Goneff questions.
"We've just dug dis new tunnel dat's simply poifect for secret escapes," James says.
"You an' de Golem can sneak outta here an' you'll both be miles away before de cops know you're gone," Meowth adds.
Then Jessie says, "We'll allow you to use our tunnel if you give us back Wobbuffet and all the other loot you must've stashed away."
"You must be outside your mind!" Goneff says, not taking an interest.
"You're the one who's out of his mind if you don't do it, mister!" Jessie says.
"Okeydokey, then!" Goneff says, and turns to his Pokrmon, "Let's give it to them but good, Golem!"
"Golem agrees and charges, Team Rocket manages to get out of the way before Golem can land on them.
"Why are you attacking us?!" Jessie cries out.
"Dat ain't part of the deal!" Meowth says.
"What do you think you're doing?!" James demands.
Goneff laughs, "I know what I'm doing, I'm using that tunnel escape!"
Oh, no you won't!" Mew calls out.
Goneff Team Rocket are surprised to see Mew, Totodile, Misty, Mudip, and Sobble come out.
"Alright, Goneff, you let that Wobbuffet go free!" Mew demands.
"You all are ones who are going! Golem, Tackle attack!" Goneff says.
Golem charges in.
Mew calls out, "Totodile, hit Golem with your Water Gun!"
"Mudkip! Sobble! Use Water Gun as well!" Misty calls out.
The three do so and blasts Golem back, but it lands on its feet.
Goneff calls out, "Golem, use Double Team!"
Golem does so and surrounds both Ash and Misty with three of them
"Now knock them out with your Dynamic Punch!" Goneff calls out.
All three charge and manage to knock Totodile, Sobble, and Mudkip out.
"Totodile, no!" Mew cries out.
"Sobble! Mudkip!" Mew cries out.
"Your little Pokemon does not have a chance against Golem!" Goneff says.
The three struggle to get up.
"Golem, go! Finish it with a Tackle!" Goneff calls out.
Golem charges in.
"Quick, get out of the way!" Mew calls out.
The three water Pokemon hide behind Wobbuffet. But surprisingly, Wobbuffet protects them both with Counter and breaks the rope holding it in the process while Golem goes flying into Goneff, through the wall and out into the open.
Officer Jenny quickly notices them, "It's Goneff! Quick, don't let him get away this time!"
"Every police officer dog piles on Goneff.
"I...surrender!" Goneff says, feeling dizzy.
In the building….
"That was awesome, Totodile!" Mew says.
"Sobble Mudkip, you both were great too," Mew says.
Jessie calls out, "Come on, Wobbuffet! We have to get out of this place!"
Team Rocket makes their escape.
Mew and the others notice.
"Come on!" Mew says.
Mew and Misty chase Team Rocket to the roof, where they have a new balloon for their hot air balloon.
"Hey, what's that thing?" Misty asks.
The rest of the gang and Officer Jenny joins Ash on the roof while Team Rocket laughs in triumph
"Why use a dirty tunnel when we can escape in style in our brand new Wobballoon?" Jessie says.
"Give us back that key, Jessie!" Mew shouts.
"Sorry, twerp, Wobbuffet's resting comfortably in its Pokéball and I don't see any good reason to disturb it," Jessie says.
And James begins mocking them, "We're tired of chasing you! If you want the key, why don't you chase us for a change?"
And soon Wobbuffet comes out of the Pokeball.
"Oh no you don't! Misty says.
Then calls Sobble dashes forward and water forms around Sobble's body. Then flies up towards Team Rocket's balloon and pops it.
"Woah!" Misty says, astonished.
"Wow Misty, Sobble just used an Aqua Jet!" Mew says, amazed.
Popping the balloon, causes the basket to shake while Wobbuffet drops the key. Sobble then turns around and dives down using the Aqua Jet. Suddenly, Sobble begins to glow, and begins to change its shape. Team Rocket tries to get the key, but misses. Jessie reaches for the key, but Wobbuffet lands on her head, and the Aqua Jet swoops in to grab the key. When the Water Gun is gone, a different Pokemon takes Sobble's place.
Now there is a slim, lizard-like Pokémon. It is primarily blue with a white belly and a dark blue mark above it. It has lime green mitten-like hands and two-digit feet. On its face, it has small nostrils, half-lidded eyes with green eyelids, a thin line connecting its eyes, and a blue dot next to each eye. On its head are three hairlike structures, two dark blue and one purple. One of the structures sticks up like a cowlick. The other two droop over the face and cover one eye, resembling "emo" bangs. It also has a chameleon tail that swirls inward.
"What is that?" Tomo asks.
"I think Sobble evolved," Brock says.
Misty happily cheers, "Alright my Sobble evolved!"
"And got the key!" Jen happily says.
The newly evolved form of Sobble walks to Mew and gives her the key.
Mew takes it, "Thank you."
Team Rocket looks in shock.
"Oh no!" Jessie says, shocked.
"Wobb-uffet!" (That's not good!) Wobbuffet says.
"Soon, the PokePod is open and Pikachu and Eevee are free.
Pikachu and Eevee happily cheer, (Mew!)
How you both doing? Are you okay?" Mew asks, relieved.
"Pika!" (We're good!) Pikachu says.
Jessie says, shocked, "They've got the key!"
"They got Pikachu and Eevee, too!" James panics.
"Well, we can fix that! Give em a Double Thunderbolt!" Mew says.
Both Pikachu and Eevee perform Thunderbolt and zaps them hard for payback. Then Team Rocket is sent flying.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" They all cry out.
"Nice work guys," Mew says.
Jenn then says. "I'm very glad to see your Pikachu is safe and sound."
"Yeah, thanks a lot, Officer Jenny," Mew says.
But Officer Jenny says, "Oh no, I should be thanking you, Mew. It's because of you that we were able to finally capture Goneff So on behalf of the department, I salute you! "And salutes.
"Ah, don't mention it," Mew says.
Then turns to Mew and says, "And don't forget Misty's newly evolved Pokemon."
"I agree," Misty happily says.
"What is it?" Molly asks.
"It's a Drizzile," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex."
Dexter says, "Drizzile, the Water Lizard Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sobble. A Water Type. A clever combatant, this Pokémon battles using water balloons created with moisture secreted from its palms."
"You were great Drizzile," Misty says.
"She's right. Thank you," Mew says.
Drizzile turns away, and blushes a bit.
Later, Mew and her friends continue on their road to Olivine City. Mew is able to get Pikachu and Eevee back safely. Misty's Sobble has evolved into Drizzile. And they helped Officer Jenny capture a dangerous criminal. They continue on their way to Olivine City.
Meanwhile, Wobbuffet is seen sitting on a bridge looking at the sunset, while Team Rocket hangs on to the support beams for dear life.
"We saved you, now save us!" Jessie shouts
"Wobb-uffet! ("Leave me be!") Wobbuffet says.
"You owe us! You're the one who messed things up!" James calls out.
"Wobb-uffet!" (Later!) Wobbuffet responds.
Meowth shouts, "Dis is your last chance, blob-o!"
But Wobbuffet doesn't help them and looks on at the sunset.
