Episode 101: Got Milktank?!

Mew and her friends continue on their journey to Olivine City, a long journey. They soon climb up and find themselves looking over to see a massive desert.

"There's nothing here but sand and rocks," Mew says.

"Not even buildings," Molly says.

"Are you sure we went the right way?" Misty asks.

"Olivine City should be on the other side of the desert," Brock says.

Soon enough, Mew and the others begin their walk to the desert.

"The guide book says there's a Pokemon Center nearby. We should stop," Brock says.

"Yeah," Mew says.

Right on cue, Mew falls into a pit trap and Pikachu and Eevee fall in a net and are snatched up.

Suddenly Jessie's voice appears, "Surprise, twerps."

Team Rocket promptly reveal themselves after disguising themselves as a rock.

"It's us," Jessie says with confidence

"And we came prepared this time with our electricity-proof net!" James says.

"Pika!" (Get us outta here!) Pikachu cries out.

"Eevee!" (Let us go!) Eevee cries out.

"Why don't you guys bother somebody else for a change?!" Misty shouts.

"Yeah! Why do you always have to bother us?" Jen adds.

And Team Rocket performs their motto.

Jessie:

You should just bother to prepare for trouble.

James:

While you're at it, make it double!

Then Meowth says, "I'm cutting dis one short!"

Team Rocket falters in disbelief.

"WOBUFFET! (That's all!) Wobbuffet says.

Brock and Tomo help Mew out of the pit.

"Are you okay, Mew?" Brock asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Mew says.

She looks around, "But where's Pikachu and Eevee?"

James laughs in triumph, "Nothing but net!"

"Team Rocket!" Mew shouts, "You better give back Pikachu and Eevee or else!"

"Or else what?" Jessie and James questions.

"Or else we'll jump into our balloon, like so," Meowth says.

The balloon rises and they jump in the basket.

"Oh, yeah? I wouldn't be so sure!" Mew says and brings out her Pokeball.

James laughs, "But I am sure! Weezing, go!"

Weezing comes out of the Pokeball.

James calls out the attack, "Smokescreen attack!"

Mew throws her Pokeball, "Go, Cyndaquil!"

Cyndaquil comes out of the Pokeball and jumps onto one of Weezing's faces, to James' surprise.

"Way to go, Cyndaquil, now use Flamethrower attack!" Mew calls out.

Cyndaquil ignites its back flame while Weezing tries to shake it off and finally does so and Cyndaquil lands on his face.

Mew rushes over to him, "Cyndaquil, what happened? Are you alright?"

Cyndaquil lifts his head up only to reveal a big bump on its nose.

"Oh Cyndaquil, your nose," Mew says, worried.

Seeing what happened, Team Rocket begins laughing at him.

Meowth calls out, "It's Cyndaquil, the red-nosed Pokemon!

Jessie says as she wears a clown nose, "Look at me! I'm Cyndaquil!"

"WOBBUFFET!" (That's priceless!) Wobbuffet adds with laughter.

"Cyndaquil's back flame lowers in embarrassment.

"Oh no! Look, Mew! His flame's starting to go down!" Misty says.

"You'll be okay, Cyndaquil!" Brock says.

"Don't worry Cyndaquil," Jen says.

Hearing Team Rocket laughing, Mew shouts in rage, "Stop laughing!"

Then turns to her Pokemon, "Cyndaquil, can you try Flamethrower?"

But Cyndaquil falls over.

"Oh, that's too bad," Jessie says.

Then James says, "But Weezing, you can try a Sludge attack."

Weezing launches the attack.

"Look out!" Mew cries out and uses her own body to shield Cyndaquil from the attack, causing her to get it.

"Are you alright?!" Tomo asks, worried.

Mew looks down to Cyndaquil, "You're okay, right, Cyndaquil? You're not gonna let a silly little thing like a bump on your nose get you down."

Feeling more confident, Cyndaquil reignites its back flame

"Way to go, buddy! That's the spirit!" Mew says.

Meowth notices, "Uh oh! I tink it's mad!"

"Don't worry about that. We'll just give them a little dose of Smokescreen from Weezing!" James says.

Weezing does so.

Then Mew calls out, "Show em what you got, Cyndaquil! Flamethrower attack, now!"

Cyndaquil launches the attack, heating up the smoke.

"Well, that's new," Jessie says.

"How can our Smokescreen...?!" James asks, frightened.

"Go up in smoke?" Meowth adds.

Wobbuffet says, "WOBBUFFET!" (It's flammable!)

"Back it up!" James panics as he calls back Weezing.

The Meowth Balloon backs away just as the smoke explodes and sends Cyndaquil flying while the net holding Pikachu and Eevee breaks.

Meowth cries out, "Pikachu got away!"

Soon, a hole rips in the Meowth balloon.

"Not again!" Jessie cries out.

As the Meowth balloon blows away.

Mew rushes over and catches Pikachu and Eevee.

"Are you okay, guys?" Mew asks.

"Pika." (I'm good.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee," (I'm okay.) Eevee says.

"Glad you're back," Mew says, and turns her head, "Thanks to you, Cyndaquil, we got…" but notices Cyndaquil isn't here

Mew looks around, Cyndaquil is nowhere in sight, "Where's Cyndaquil?"

"Is Cyndaquil gone?" Misty asks.

"It must've gotten caught up in that Smokescreen explosion somehow!" Brock says.

"You mean the explosion could've blown it away?!" Jen asks, shocked.

Meanwhile, Cyndaquil is seen on solid ground, but all alone in the desert. Cyndaquil decides to cross it, hoping to find Mew, as a Sentret lets out a cry, letting other Pokemon nearby know what's coming. Among them include a Sandshrew and a Butterfree.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are trying to find Cyndaquil.

"Where could it be?" Misty asks.

"I thought maybe it could've fallen down here," Brock says.

Mew calls out, "Cyndaquil! Cyndaquil!"

But Cyndaquil doesn't answer.

Then Brock says, "I think we should go to that Pokémon Center that I was reading about. Someone could've found Cyndaquil and brought it there."

Soon, Mew and the others arrive at the Pokemon Center and explain to Nurse Joy about what happened.

Sadly, Nurse Joy says, "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I just wish I could be of more help, but no one's brought in a Cyndaquil."

"Thanks anyway," Mew says.

"But this reminds me of…" Nurse Joy says.

"Reminds you of what?" Tomo asks.

Nurse Joy says, "There's always been a legend about this area. They say, sometimes, when sick and injured Pokemon are separated from their trainers, they find their way back in better health than before. This has led people to believe that somewhere nearby is a secret oasis where Pokemon go to be healed."

"A secret Pokémon oasis?" Brock asks.

"You gotta tell me where it is!" Mew says in a panic.

But Misty says, "Mew, don't get too excited. Nurse Joy told you it was just a legend."

"I know, but it's the only clue we have. We gotta find it! Come on!" Mew says, and runs off.

"Okay!" Brock says.

"Wait for us!" Molly calls out.

Nurse Joy calls out, "Be careful out there in the hot sun!"

Meanwhile, Cyndaquil continues to wander before collapsing. The Butterfree, Sandshrew and Sentret from earlier find it and the Sentret calls out. Soon, a Dugtrio comes in and carries Cyndaquil away.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are seen with their balloon clinging on to a rock

"Hello? Is anybody out there?" Jessie calls out.

"I'm hot," James says

"Hot, and toisty," Meowth says.

Team Rocket soon spots Cyndaquil being carried away by Dugtrio

Jessie says, "Oh. Isn't that the twerp's little Pokemon?"

"Yeah, it's his red-nosed Cyndaquil," Meowth says.

"It doesn't look so good," James says.

"Right. We capture it and use it as bait to also capture da twoip's Pikachu and Eevee," Meowth says.

"Great! I think you've come up with a perfect plan, Meowth!" James agrees.

But Jessie says, "Yes, but does your perfect plan include getting us down from this balloon?" Pick up Meowth, "Maybe I should help you with that part. And drops Meowth.

Meowth falls on his face to the ground.

He jumps on his feet and cries out, "My face!"

"Quit dancing around and get us down, now!" Jessie calls out.

"Come on, Meowth, we don't have all day," James says.

Meowth screams, "Can I please have a little compassion here?! Did you not see my crash landing?!" But feels something off, "Huh?"

Suddenly, a Dugtrio pops up over Meowth and carries him away.

Meowth panics, "Hey, what's going on? Somebody help me!"

Jessie and James try to flag Meowth down, but all their shaking causes the balloon to break and send them crashing to the ground below.

Meanwhile, Brock brings out Onix and tries to find Cyndaquil

"Onix, how's it going?! Do you see anything at all?!" Brock asks.

Onix shakes its head no.

We're not making much progress," Brock says.

Pikachu soon spots something on a nearby ledge, "Pika!" (Look there!)

"What is it, Pikachu?" Mew asks.

"Eevee Eevee!" (Hey, look over there!) Eevee says.

The group looks to see two Quagsire.

"It's two Quagsire," Misty says, confused, "What are water Pokemon doing in the desert?"

"Well, technically. Quagsire are part ground Pokemon, as well," Brock says.

The Quagsire walk away

"Pika!" (Hold up!) Pikachu calls out.

"Vee!" (Wait!) Eevee calls out.

"WAit, Quagsire! Don't go yet! We need help!" Mew calls out.

Soon, Mew and the others head after the two Quagsire.

"I wonder why they're running away from us," Misty says.

It's possible they're afraid of humans!" Brock says.

Everyone soon comes to a stop and spots a mountain.

That mountain," Misty says.

"That's where the Quagsire are headed," Mew says.

Soon, they hear voices, "Crobat!"

"Noctowl!" Mew calls out.

The two Pokemon come to a stop.

"Did you find anything?" Brock asks

They point to the mountain.

"They said at the mountain," Tomo says.

"And they're pointing us to the mountain, too, Mew," Misty says.

"Then that's where we're going," Mew says.

Meanwhile, the Dugtrio continue to carry Cyndaquil and Meowth away.

Hey! Let me off dis crazy ride!" Meowth cries out.

Jessie and James follow behind as the Dugtrio come to a stop and throw them onto the head of an Exeggutor while Jessie and James look on.

Jessie and James question, "What now?"

The Exeggutor carries Cyndaquil and Meowth into a cave until they spot an opening.

"An opening," Meowth says.

They finally exit the cave.

Meowth exclaims, "WHAT?!"

Meowth can hardly believe his eyes when he sees a lush and green area full of Pokemon, including several Wooper, a Poliwag, a Poliwrath, a Bellsprout, a Quagsire, a Caterpie, a Weedle, a Paras, a Mankey, several Aipom, a Sunflora, and several Bellossom

Where am I?" Meowth asks.

Meowth looks up and sees the sky, indicating that he and Cyndaquil were taken inside the same mountain Mew and her friends are heading towards before the Exeggutor lets them off before a sound is heard from a hollow tree.

"Did you hear dat?" Meowth asks.

"Cyndaquil." (I think so.) Cyndaquil answers.

From the hollow tree, a Miltank comes forward

"It's a Miltank!" Meowth says, surprised.

The Miltank approaches them.

"Tings are getting 'udderly' peculiar," Meowth replies.

Miltank puts a hoof on the bump on Cyndaquil's nose and uses Heal Bell, healing it instantly.

Mewoth is surprised, "Huh? It's gone!"

Miltank does the same thing to Meowth.

"Okay. Dat does make my face feel much better. Dat light is so warm," Meowth says.

Meanwhile, Jessie and James are outside the mountain wondering what's happening.

"What's going on down there?" James asks.

"I don't know, but I'm a little insulted that Meowth didn't invite us," Jessie says.

Jessie and James approach to see what's going on, but the Exeggutor guarding the entrance to the oasis use Psychic to make them hallucinate that what they were looking at isn't there anymore

Jessie looks around, "What happened?! Where'd the Exeggutor go? What happened to the mountain?"

James looks back, "It's over there!"

"Okay, so how did we get turned around?" Jessie says.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are riding on Onix to their destination until they spot something.

Jen sees, "It's Team Rocket."

"They're walking like zombies," Misty says.

"It looks like they're in a trance," Mew says.

"You're right. It looks like they're hypnotized," Brock says.

"How would they get hypnotized?" Molly asks.

Looking at the binoculars, Brock says, "It seems that those Exeggutor must be using Psychic in order to keep humans away. Maybe from the secret oasis we heard about. We have to be careful how we approach, or we'll end up like them."

"Well we have two choices, we either talk to them or have Onix approach them from underground,"

"I think the second idea is best," Brock says, "Onix, help us out! Dig a tunnel!"

And Onix digs underground.

Back inside the mountain, Meowth and Cyndaquil are relaxing.

Meowth sighs, "Ah! So, Miltank, all da Pokemon know to come to you for healing."

"Miltank," (They sure do.) Miltank says.

"Tank you for fixing that nasty bump on my face," Meowth says.

Meanwhile, Onix breaks through the rock wall.

"It looks like some kind of spring," Mew says.

"Look! We're underground, but there's light down here!" Brock says.

Meanwhile, Jessie and James continue wandering toward what they think is the mountain until they find out that they weren't, the hard way.

"Ouch, that hurt!" James yelps.

James, do you see that?!" Jessie says.

James looks up and finds that they came back to where they started from.

"We're right back where we started!" Jessie says, and turns to James, "Let's go back to where we saw the Exeggutor!

"But bu, how can we?" James asks.

"It'll be easy," Jessie says and brings out a roll of tape, "We'll just patch up the balloon, and make our approach from the sky."

"Wobbu!" (Good plan!) Wobbuffet says.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others enter the oasis from a cavern at the top of the waterfall.

"What kind of place is this?" Jen asks.

Misty soon notices, "Look! Down there, Mew! Isn't that your Cyndaquil?"

Everyone looks at Cyndaquil and Meowth relaxing next to Miltank.

"I've heard about this but I've never seen it! Miltank must've used its Milk Drink ability where it uses its milk to transfer its own energy to other Pokemon in order to heal them!" Brock says.

"It's transferring its energy?" Tomo asks.

Then Mew realizes, "So you mean that, Miltank is helping to heal my Cyndaquil?"

"This must the secret Pokemon Oasis!" Misty says.

"I think so," Brock says.

Mew calls out, "Hey! Cyndaquil!"

All three Pokemon look up.

Meowth notices, "What are dey doing here?"

"Cyndaquil! I'm so happy you're okay!" Mew calls out with a smile.

All the other Pokemon look up and spot the humans, and don't take too kindly to their presence. The Miltank then calls for help, prompting some Beedrill and Pidgeotto to appear before them.

"What's going on?!" Tomo asks, shocked.

Misty looks behind, "They're behind us, too!"

Everyone looks and sees some Krabby right behind them.

"They must think we're gonna hurt them!" Brock panics.

"What are we gonna do?" Molly asks.

"I'm not sure, but they're saying that humans aren't welcomed here," Mew says.

And Meowth proves her point, "Humans aren't welcome here, so go away!"

Mew and the others are surprised to see Meowth.

"Hey, Meowth, what are you doing here?" Misty asks.

"I'm here cause I had an injury, too. And da Pokemon carried me here so that I could be healed," Meowth says.

"They healed you?" Jen asks.

"Ouch, how did that happen?" Mew asks.

"Long story," Meowth says. "And yes. Dis is a private place dat's just for Pokemon only. And no humans are allowed. Da Pokemon here just want to be left alone to live in peace without humans bothering em."

Cyndaquil confronts Miltank, "Cynda Cyndaquil!" (Wait, these humans aren't our enemies. They won't hurt us."

"Look at Cyndaquil," Molly says.

"Cyndaquil says that we're not enemies and we're not here to hurt them.

A Mankey comes down at Cyndaquil.

"Hey!" Mew shouts, and dives down, "Cyndaquil!"

Pikachu and Eevee dive down along with her. And hit the water.

Everyone calls out, "Ash!"

Mew and the others come out of the water. Cyndaquil tries to approach Mew, but Mankey and Poliwrath block its way.

Mew tries to reason with it, "Promise I'm not gonna hurt you, I just came because I wanted to find my friend, Cyndaquil. I'm sorry we disturbed you, You gotta believe me!"

"Pika Pika!" (Excuse the intrusion.) Pikachu says.

After a brief stare down, Jessie is heard, "Well, we're only here to find our friend, too."

Miltank and everyone else looks up and sees Team Rocket coming down.

"So, excuse the intrusion. What else could we do?" James says.

"Oh, no!" Mew says.

"Not dem!" Meowth says.

And Team Rocket performs their motto.

Jessie:

Yes, us, so prepare for trouble.

James:

Who else would it be? Now make it double.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

A giant statue of Jesse's head floats by in the background.

James:

James.

A giant statue of James' head floats by in the background.

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

The two busts float by on a giant floating satellite reminiscent of Thanos' floating throne.

James:

Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Wobbuffet:

WOBBUFFET! (That's right!)

Wobbuffet floats past, while wearing a spacesuit.

"Eevee Eevee Vee Vee Eevee?" (Can their motto get any more ridiculous?) Eevee says in a monotone voice.

"Pika Pikachu," (I think it can.) Pikachu says, feeling the same.

"I have to agree. Their motto gets more ridiculous every time I hear it," Mew says.

Then calls out, "Hey! Team Rocket! Before you ruin everything, you should know that Miltank healed Meowth's injuries, too!"

"Pika!" (That's right!) Piakchu says.

"Eevee Eevee" (Yeah, you should be grateful!) Eevee calls out

Well, isn't that sweet? But I don't remember asking it to," Jessie says.

Meowth is shocked, "What are you trying to say?"

"Meowth, do I have to remind you that you're a villain and, as a villain, you're going to join us in stealing all these Pokemon?!" James calls out.

"So quit wasting our time with this righteous routine and start gathering up your new, little friends!" Jessie shouts

"Wobbuffet!" (And post haste!) Wobbuffet adds.

Then Jessie calls out, "Go, Arbok!"

Arbok comes out.

Then James calls out, "Weezing, Victreebel!"

Both Pokemon come out, but Victreebel tries to eat James again.

James cries out, "Not me!" pulls Victreebel off, "Go get them!" and throws Victreebel down.

Jessie grabs Wobbuffet, "Time to make yourself useful and get down there." And throws him down.

Wobbuffet ends up down in the lake while the other Pokemon land on dry land and stand ready to attack as Wobbuffet surfaces. And on the other side, Ash, Pikachu, Eevee, Cyndaquil and the other Pokemon stand ready to defend the oasis.

"Pikachu and Cyndaquil, get ready to battle Team Rocket," Mew says.

Pikachu, Eevee, and Cyndaquil agree.

Meowth then finally chose a side, "I just can't battle with you this time!"

Jessie and James are confused.

"Why not?" James asks.

"Because Miltank here has toined this place into a special sort of healing oasis dat's just for Pokemon! So I can't do it! And you can't make me!" Meowth says.

Mew says to Jessie and James, "You heard him, this time he's on the Pokemon's side."

Some of the Pokemon agree with Meowth's decision, while Team Rocket's Pokemon try to decide which side they're to be on, as well. But it doesn't take long for all the Pokemon to turn on Team Rocket.

"Have you all completely lost it?!" Jessie cries out.

"This is a mutiny!" James cries out.

"Wobbu," (So what?!) Wobbuffet says.

Meanwhile, Misty and the others are amazed, "I can't believe something like this is happening!"

"It looks like all the Pokemon understand one another and agree that it isn't right to disturb this place that Miltank has made so special!" Brock says.

"That's very noble," Tomo says.

"Yeah," Jen says.

"It's all for one and one for all," Molly says.

Seeing their Pokemon won't budge, Jessie says, "Since you've chosen not to help us…"

"We'll just have to call you back!" James says.

Jessie and James say, "Return!"

All of Team Rocket's Pokemon are recalled.

Meowth then confronts them, "Jess, James! You guys have to leave this one place alone for da Pokemon!"

"You go, Meowth," Mew says.

Cyndaquil, Pikachu and Eevee agree.

"Hey! Why are you and the twerpette are siding with each other?!" Jessie shouts.

"And she's not even a Pokemon!" James shouts.

"Because, Mew has been raised by Pokemon and can understand their speech, feelings, and, so that makes her an honorary Pokemon in my book," Meowth says.

"That's a bit much," Mew says, embarrassed.

"Well, if that twerpette and Miltank's as great as you say it is, then that's where we'll start," Jessie says.

"Let's try the anti-electric net pach deux!" James says, and fires the net.

Mew tries to save Miltank, but is caught along with her.

The net fires and captures Miltank.

"We caught a Miltank!" Jessie says.

"And the twerpette," James says.

Meowth grabs onto the net as Team Rocket reels it in.

Jessie and James chant "One down with lots more to go!"

Meowth mananges to climb up the net and into the basket, "I can't let you do dis!"

Jessie then grabs Meowth, "Let us?"

Jessie and James proceed to tie Meowth up as the Pidgeotto and Beedrill swarm around them

"Just try to come and attack us!" Jessie says.

"It'd be a shame is something were to happen to Miltank and the twerpette," James says.

Pikachu, Eevee, and Cyndaquil say that they need to help Mew.

"Since it's an anti-electric net, not even Pikachu's attack can break it!" Brock says.

"She'll have to use Cyndaquil or Eevee," Eevee says.

Mew pulls on the net and says, "I can't let all these Pokemon think that humans are their enemies just cause of Team Rocket!"

Cyndaquil's back flame ignites.

Mew calls out, "That's right, Cyndaquil! It's all up to you, now!"

Cyndaquil's back flames get higher, and Team Rocket notice.

"That's looking serious! Perhaps we should retreat, Jess," James says.

"We're Team Rocket, and we're going after every last one of those Pokemon," Jessie says.

But James says, "I know, but, I forgot to pack the fire extinguisher!"

Mew calls out, "Cyndaquil, use Flamethrower attack to burn through that wire and release us!"

Cyndaquil does so.

Mew releases her Pokeball and calls out, "Bayleef, Razor Leaf attack!"

Bayleef comes out of the Pokeball and cuts them free while they land in the water.

Mew and Miltank come out of the water.

Mew says, "Way to go, guys!"

Jessie says with a deadpan expression, "So, perhaps you were right."

James says with the same expression, "I don't think he's done with us, yet."

"Okay, Pikachu, Eevee, Thunderbolt attack!" Mew calls out.

Pikachu and Eevee launch the attack and destroys Team Rocket's balloon

Soon, Meowth gets the tape off his mouth, "I'm not really the kind to say I told you so."

"And luckily, I'm not that kind, either, so I'll just think it," Jessie says.

Then Jessie shouts, "Alright, I told you so!" and says in a deadpan expression, "Hey, that felt pretty good."

They all scream, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

Mew comes out of the water and says, "Alright! Good job, Cyndaquil!"

Cyndaquil happily leaps into Mew's arms.

"Pika Pikachu!" (Nice job, Cyndaquil.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Eevee!" (Great work!) Eevee says.

"You did it! That was awesome!" Brock says.

"I feel sorry for Meowth, but I'm glad everyone's okay," Misty says.

"Everyone looks and sees the Pokemon of the Oasis standing behind them.

"Hey, Miltank," Mew says, and approaches Miltank and the other Oasis Pokemon, "I just want to say, thank you, Miltank, for taking care of Cyndaquil and making it feel better. I'm sorry we let ourselves into your secret oasis, but my friend and I promise you, we won't tell anyone where it is."

Miltank agrees, as do the rest of the Pokemon of the Oasis.

"Well, it sure looks to me that they understand we're not their enemies, Mew," Brock says.

"Yeah, and they saw how you battled Team Rocket for them," Misty says.

"Thanks for understanding, Miltank," Mew says.

Mew and her friends are lucky enough to see the Pokemon Oasis, but they vowed to Miltank to never reveal its secret to anyone. After saying goodbye to the Pokemon, Mew and her friends continue their adventure to Olivine City and the next Johto Gym.
