Silence filled the entire room our heroes stood in. The only faint sounds are the slight beeps from the computers, the humming emitting from the walls, and the beating of their heartbeats is also heard as they all stared at the screen displaying the Airship Of Doom.
It's very horrifying to know that this thing. This monster. Which can completely destroy stars could even exist in the first place and what's even worse is that it's out there somewhere with a operational cannon at 50% from the complete combinations of power crystals, highly advance alien technology, and the stolen energy from the captured ghosts who are being held up in that thing. For our heroes such as: SpongeBob, Timmy, Danny, and Jimmy they have never seen anything like it before. Not even Darth Laser's space station could destroy an entire star and that was the closest superweapon that Timmy regularly faces and he could already tell that this thing isn't going to be as easy to take down like Darth Laser's superweapon.
To the side of them; all of the ghosts are just as speechless and a bit horrified as well. They aren't exactly saints as some; like Ember have tried to take over the world more than once. Yet, she or any of the others have never created something that would virtually destroy the whole planet as how would you rule the world if you destroy it? It's even worse that their fellow ghosts are powering up that thing, they can only imagine the pain that they're feeling whenever that thing fires its cannon. It especially angered Johnny for Kitty is suffering through that, he needed to save her. He'll destroy it with his bare hands in order to save her.
The turtles meanwhile are perhaps even more terrified than anyone else present in this room. Over the many Krang plots they've thwarted, the Krang have never gone this far to actually destroy half of a solar system. It's very unlike them as they needed the Earth in order to turn it into another Dimension X. The only explanation for why they would do this in the first place is that they found a better world to mutate and with Earth no longer being important to them, they'll just destroy Earth to bring them down once and for all.
Having the overall same feelings, everyone came to only just one conclusion. That ship needed to be destroyed before it shows up into one of their universes and fire it's deadly payload. They just needed to find it first, which isn't too hard to say that it wouldn't be difficult on doing so.
"Jimmy. Do you have any way to locate that ship?" Danny urgently asked as he found himself leaning forward a bit above Jimmy's shoulder as he kept his eyes glued to the computer screen.
"I know! Maybe it's at Glove World." Patrick suddenly stated with so much confidence in his answer, he didn't even notice some of the looks he's getting.
"Must've taken a lot out of you to even come up with that one." Raph sarcastically remarked, which Patrick happily nodded to, completely missing the sarcasm.
Ignoring Patrick's answer on the whereabouts of the ship. Jimmy tried to work with the keyboard the best he could, but it's taking awhile since he's still very unfamiliar with it's layout in which Donnie quickly took notice of. "Mind if I take control? I'm very familiar with the Krang's computer layout."
Jimmy happily complied with his request as he took a step aside from the keyboard. "Certainly, um. Sorry didn't catch your name."
"Name's Donatello." Without any further delay, he moves his fingers around on the keyboard, opening up several key information of the ship that he then downloaded into his T-phone. "There we go. Now to go to my translator app to fully analyze more details."
Meanwhile stepping on up to Donnie with his PDA out, Tucker felt that he should be doing something with his own knowledge of tech. "I can help you with that man. Just send those files into my PDA."
"Coming at ya." Typing in a few commands, Tucker's PDA beeped from the information it's been given. Looking into it himself, Tucker carefully clicked and read every part until he found on what he was looking for. He looks at everyone to speak up, but Donnie beats him to it.
"I have it! Seems that the only way to get to that ship is by having the right coordinates. Which should be in a nava-computer on a transport ship."
"And where do we find one of those?" Johnny questioned with a quirked eyebrow.
"According to a map that I also downloaded. One should be parked in the hanger on the other side of the facility."
At this time; during Donnie's answer. Way up in the catwalk overlooking the room, a very weezy Rancid Rabbit slowly swayed forward in his walk, completely out of breath as the toxic air poisoned him from the inside. It killed all of the police officers he was with during the pursuit of the fugitive turtles, leaving him alone, weak, and deluded. It's a utter miracle that he had even managed to get this far through Dimension X, not to mention getting through this facility without getting shot at.
However this place has taken it's effect on him. Rancid could barely tell on which way was where, when under his delusion, he stepped off the catwalk and fell right into the tank of mutagen. The resulting splash from impact immediately alerted everyone in the room, who all swiftly turned to the tank where the silhouette of Rancid twitching, jolting, conjoining is seen as he screamed out in agony as his body slowly changed.
Pointing up slowly to the tank horrified as the form grew bigger, SpongeBob couldn't help but asked. "Who's that?" While shaking his fingers with a bit of chatter teeth.
"It's trouble." Leo replied as he drawn out his katanas, right along with his brothers who drawn out their own weapons in anticipation.
Suddenly erupting out of the tank with the mutagen splattering everywhere, the figure crashed down in front of them. What everyone saw is a green/blue body with frog legs, six tentacles for arms that have gun tips merged with each end of a tentacle, frog like mouth with rabbit teeth and ears on the flat head. The creature who was once Rancid Rabbit looked to his new form in horror. "Leaping lumbago! I'm hideous! I'll never be able to show my face in town again!"
Glancing over to the turtles his anger swiftly took hold with his tentacles wiggling around in aggression, as the two in the front of his body slammed down to the floor. "This is all your fault! I'm a hideous freak thanks to you four criminals! You, right along with everyone else present here will suffer the consequences!"
"Whoa! Chill Rabbitpus!" Mikey shouted with his nunchucks spinning.
"Rabbitpus?" Sam questioned, in which Mikey turned to her for a explanation of the name he had given to the new Rancid. "Yeah. He's a rabbit with an octopus body."
"We get it." Leo interrupted him, then leaped out of the way as an incoming tentacle crashed down, then fires a steady stream of bullets at the other turtles and the group. They all jumped out of the way from the incoming fire, while SpongeBob ducked into his pants like a turtle to avoid getting blasted as the bullets flew close above him.
Releasing a pig-like squeal. Rancid swings and fires his tentacles around at everyone in his sights, he especially focused his attacks on those vile turtles who jumped, rolled, and flipped to avoid his oncoming attacks.
"Hey!"
Looking up in attention with a cock of his eyebrows. Danny came in flying with his foot out in front of him. "Not cool Rabbitpus!" Landing a direct kick in-between the eyes, Rancid released a painful cry before then getting hit in both cheeks by Donnie and Mikey, that they also use as trampolines to jump away.
"Ouch! That smarts." Opening an eye, he spots an incoming Leo and Raph coming at him from both sides. "Uh oh." Very swiftly he takes a large leap with his frog legs, he not only dodges their swinging weapons, but also went across the room in less than a second.
"Hmm. Not bad. I could get into the Olympics with this jump." Firing more bullets at his enemies, Rancid wickedly smiled as he is keeping his foes back, glancing upwards he suddenly spots Danny holding Jimmy with just one hand as the boy genius held something in his other hand.
"Try this." Tossing three, small purple cubes at him. They explode on contact, hurting Rancid more as he closed his eyes and took a step back from the explosive force.
This gives them all a chance to attack the mutated rabbit: Timmy swings the Cosmo hammer at his right side, the ghosts do their own series of attacks from all sides, SpongeBob hits him on the nose with a well place karate slap, while at the exact same time Leo chopped off the end of a tentacle.
"You like this cotton tail?!" Coming in from behind at high speeds, Raph slashes up with his sai, cutting a bit into Rancid's back causing the mutated rabbit to scream in pain as he launched into the air, with one tentacle holding onto his cut.
Crashing back down a few meters away, he's still rubbing the hurt spot as he gave it a good look. Quickly turning back to his foes, he releases a growl as he bared his teeth. "Assaulting a police officer will ya. Well I love to tell you that's going to be an additional charge for your sentence."
"Geez, this guy is as bad as Walker." Youngblood quipped.
"If Walker had a dip into the river of repulsion." Johnny joked, before getting slapped away by a tentacle.
"Sensitive."
Jumping again at the group with his guns blazing. Rancid releases a high pitched screech as he dodges several more incoming attacks that included more incoming kicks that he successfully avoided by grabbing onto the hanging catwalk above and hoisted himself up in just the nick of time. From this high position, he fires several more rounds as well as slapping away Danny, Lunch Lady, Ember, and Klemper.
He soon sets his sites on Patrick, who's just standing in the middle of the room looking up at him with this dum expression. Rancid decided to crush him for looking at him like that, releasing his grip from the catwalk. He drops like an anvil towards the now screaming Patrick.
"Patrick!" SpongeBob cried in vain as his best friend looked down terrified, awaiting for the incoming impact.
It never came.
Blinking a bit in surprise over not getting his body flatten like a pancake by a large mass. Patrick very slowly looked back up and saw that the body is just floating inches away from him. "Huh?"
He then slowly glances to the right side and took notice of the blue and white body with rockets coming off both of her feet and head. Releasing a few grunts as her metal arms held the large mutant up, she slowly pushes him back before out right chucking him at the wall with a crash.
For everyone else present, they are all frozen on the spots as they stood or floated in, especially Danny and the ghosts as the same robot girl who had fought all of them earlier is now hovering in the room without any pink eyes, instead she had regular black pupils as she directed her glare at Rancid who gets his dazed self back up on his feet.
"What? What? A robot?! How many more freaks am I going to encounter in this place?"
"Oh no!" The robot spoke up with her hands placed on her hips. "You did not just call me a freak!" Taking a boost from her rockets, she zooms on over, deflecting incoming bullets with shields coming out from where her hands are. She then swiftly switched to her wrist guns and fired several shots at his head, before delivering a series of well placed punches to his face.
Rancid tries to grab her with one of his tentacles, but she easily dodges them with incredible speed and in return delivers a well serving of punches throughout much of the body, greatly impressing Raph with each move she makes. "I'm really liking this robot."
Being all battered and bruised, Rancid's head is lowered with a broken tooth and two black eyes right along with a painful groan. He soon feels the tight grip of a metal hand on one of his front tentacles that slowly, but steadily began to move him around like a rotating helicopter blade.
"Take a hike creep." Releasing him on a mid spin, Rancid crashed right through the wall and flew away in Dimension X's skies, until he is nothing more than a speck.
Having that problem promptly taken care of. The robot claps her hands together in satisfaction and turned around to face everyone, when she suddenly got tackled by Ember right onto the ground with her foot pinning her by the chest. "Ow! What the?!"
"Your so dismantled you buckets of bolts. After wrecking my guitar, you have the nerve to actually show your face in front of me again!" She growled with red eyes and her hair erupting into a giant flame that threaten to melt anything or anyone close to it.
"Whoa!" Suddenly stepping in next to her side, Mikey held his hands up defensively for the awesome robot girl that saved all of them from the Rabbitpus. "Chill out there!"
Turning her hostile glare directly at him, Mikey gulped as he absolutely cringes from it for if looks could kill, he'll be a green puddle on the floor. "Don't tell me to chill shellbrain! This good for nothing pile of scrap has been helping the Krang in capturing all of us!"
"That's because she was forcibly in their control." Jimmy spoke up for the robot girl's defense, which now earned him the burning heat of Ember's glare.
"What do you mean?" Danny wasn't exactly trusting of that robot either. Engaging in two rough fights would do that for someone.
Ignoring the burning glare from Ember, Jimmy professionally went on to explain. "After your fight with her in the Ghost Zone. I taken her aboard the Spector Speeder due to Goddard's sensors picking up a foreign object on her. After some very careful analysis, I found the mind control device hijacking her systems and promptly took it out. Now she should be back to her normal self, if I'm correct?"
"It is and this might be a little late, but I'm terribly sorry for my actions. I wasn't even conscious during all of it, I only remember heading to school when all these flying alien robots came out from three portals, surrounded me and then I got shot in the back of the head before I could even fight any of them. Everything then went blank after that."
"Wait? You were going to school?" Donnie remarked with a cocked eye.
"Of course. I am a high schooler." She casually replied.
"But your a robot." Timmy pointed out. "What do you need to go to school for?" It's very strange. Robot's shouldn't be going to school, they should be doing awesome robot stuff, especially one such as this who has awesome weapons and can kick butt.
"It's all apart of being a teenager." Now looking back up at Ember who's still pinning her down, she gets more serious. "Mind getting off me now."
Glaring back down at her, Ember grits her teeth as she presses her foot down harder. "You think a story like that would save you? I don't think so scrap brain." A pink beam of energy envelopes around both her hands that grew only larger and brighter when she clenches both of her fists.
Ember would've fully blasted her right then and there. If not for the timely interjection of a TV screen popping out of the robot's chest with a stern woman wearing glasses appearing near Ember's face, forcing Ember back a bit from surprise. "Please don't hurt my daughter."
"Daughter?" SpongeBob and Patrick spoke up in surprise.
Ignoring the two, the woman on the TV monitor turned to face her daughter with big concern. "Are you alright XJ9?"
"My head is just a little hot, but other than that I'm fine."
"That's very good. Do you know where you are?"
"I'm in a weird dimension with a pink sky, floating islands, and is filled with the aliens that mind controlled me. Any idea on where that is mom?"
"Hold on." Looking over something off screen, she nodded her head as something flashed and beeped before looking back to her daughter. "From what I can pick up from your emergency tracker. It seems that your in Dimension X. A entirely different plane in one of the many universes."
"You know about the other universes?" Jimmy asked in great interest as he approached the TV monitor.
Looking to him with a mid adjustment of her glasses, she happily nodded. "Indeed. I've picked up on these other universes about three years ago. I wanted to look into them, but unfortunately I never gotten the chance to do so due to my work. Although I will say this, there's been some huge activity in one universe."
"And you know this how?" Johnny asked.
"I have several sensors that monitor the universes just in case something terrible has happened and it seems that it has. As in one of them a red giant has unexpectedly formed prematurely." Having a closer look at Johnny, her demeanor suddenly changes into that of disapproval. "Your not dating this ruffian are you XJ9?"
"Mom!" XJ9 groaned in embarrassment for how could her mother say that in front of all these people.
"We know how that red giant flashed to life. When we tell you how, it's not going to be very pleasant." Tucker stated.
"I'm hesitant to ask, but do tell me how?" She slowly asked.
"By this thing called the Airship Of Doom." The mere response got the woman tilting her head from the name alone.
"I'm sorry, but the what?"
"It's this humongous ship that these aliens called the Krang created for the only purpose to destroy stars." Sam explained, while hiding her shiver from the horrifying imagination of it firing at a poor star. Destroying it, right along with the planets that are right in the red giant's path.
The woman is equally as horrified. How could anyone create a weapon such as that? It would terrorize whatever universe it visited. One thing is for sure, it needed to be stopped and she knew only one robot that could do it. "XJ9. I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that you absolutely need to destroy that monstrosity."
"I fully agree mom, but one problem. I don't even know where it is."
"But we will. Once we get our hands on the coordinates from the transport ship." Timmy informed rather proudly.
"With a good number of Krang in our way." Leo firmly stated.
"But we do have a way to get pass them without any altercations." Jimmy spoke up after having a little Brain-Blast.
"How so?" SpongeBob curiously asked.
"Think about it. The Krang have no idea that XJ9 is no longer in their control."
"It's Jenny actually." She firmly stated.
"Right Jenny." Jimmy corrected. "Since they don't know about you changing sides, we can use this to our advantage."
"How dude?" Mikey now asked in which Jimmy replied by simply turning to the ghosts with a sly smile. All of them can already tell that they weren't going to like this.
Marching themselves down the hallway with electric binders clamped firmly down on their wrists. The ghosts had their heads down with great scowls on their faces as Jenny with both of her wrist guns aiming at them, marched close behind them with her own scowl.
None of the wiser to this ruse, Krang from both droids to the ones on floating platforms either went passed them or stood on guard duty. A few observed the passing prisoners, but kept on with their assigned duties which is great for all of them, though these binders could be a bit less tight on their wrists.
Reaching the end of the hallway at last, where the door leading into the hanger is. The whole group stopped as two guards raised their blasters a bit, before the left one spoke up. "The one called XJ9. You've managed to collect more of the things known as ghosts."
Nodding silently, Jenny motions for them to be allowed through.
"The permission of what is known as entering is the permission granted for the one called XJ9." The door rises up to reveal the hanger with the parked transport ship pointing directly towards the hanger's exit, meanwhile the Krang motions for them to move along.
Coming into the hanger, they all laid their eyes upon the many Krang droids patrolling about the hanger with one squad marching right pass them without a second glance. They soon stop next to a landing gear as right in front of them are three more guards with the middle one stepping up to meet them. "The things known as ghosts. Make the motion of moving onto the loading platform. Failure to comply will result with painful retributions."
"Actually. You are going to be facing painful retributions metal dude." Johnny retorted before suddenly ducking down right along with the other ghosts, Jenny blasts them in the chests so fast that the Krang didn't even have the chance to react. Swiftly turning around to the squad they've walked past, Jenny fires a series of missiles that scattered their robotic parts everywhere in a series of booms. As this happens the ghosts break free from their binders and charged at the other Krang: punching, kicking, phasing right behind them and tear off their heads, fired beams, which soon lead to PointDexter on taking hold of a blaster and proceeded to go all Rambo on any Krang in his sights.
Jenny happily joined them by flying over to another squad and squashed them with her hammer. Engaging in blade mode, she heads over to more Krang; hacking them with her machete hands.
The others soon entered the hanger, Leo blocks a couple of incoming shots as Jimmy and Danny fired at the Krang. Turning to Donnie, who's very well busy dodging lasers himself, Leo had to shout in order to be heard. "Donnie go get those coordinates!"
Silently nodding to his brother. Donnie rushes for the ship, knocking down any Krang in his way, while also dodging more incoming fire. Taking a leap with a series of flips, he lands perfectly on the ship before disappearing out of sight.
Meanwhile SpongeBob blew a bubble bowling ball and threw it at a group of Krang, knocking them all down like bowling pins.
"Strike!" Patrick cheered.
Danny on your right!" Timmy shouted.
"Huh?" Swiftly dodging a incoming electric staff being thrusted at his chest. Danny freezes the Krang solid with a well aimed ice beam. "Thanks."
A few feet away; Raph slashes at any Krang in his way, screaming in various battle cries that definitely included hard hits and kicks. Toppling another one onto the floor, Raph rips a arm off from the socket and threw it right at another firing Krang's head.
Quickly recovering from the blow the Krang raises the blaster, only to then get struck by a series of ninja stars that impales the droid's chest and hips. Smiling proudly from his shots, Raph then looked around for anymore Krang to trash. Only for his great disappointment to see that was the last one. "Aw man."
"Raph. How many times do we have to say to be more careful with your toys." Leo playfully remarked with a Krang droids head impaled through one of his katanas.
"We're not done yet I'm afraid. " Jimmy called out as he pointed over to the hanger entrance, where two Krang walkers marched right in, much to Raph's delight as he spun his sai around in his hands. "That's more like it."
"Don't sweat it. I got this." Forming her head into a drill, Jenny rockets her way at the walkers and went right through them from left to right. Hovering above them with her drill still spinning, Jenny smiled in satisfaction as the walkers both sparked a bit before exploding, spilling their legs everywhere.
"Wow. That was awesome!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Aw thanks." Jenny sweetly replied as she lands herself back down with her head switching back to normal. Mikey then turned to look at a crossed arm Ember, who's glare itself drilled into Jenny.
"See. She's alright."
"You wouldn't be saying that when she's using those weapons on your scaly skin." She snarked in great attitude.
"Guys!" Leaping off the transport ship with his T-Phone in hand, Donnie lands near his brothers with a large smile plastered on his face. "I got the coordinates as well as snatching a mobile portal."
"Nice job Donnie. Now we can get to that Airship with no problem." Leo stated.
"What are we waiting for? Let's get going!" Timmy declared with a finger raised above him like the Crimson Chin. And without any further delay everyone left the hanger for their own individual ships.
Watching as the magnificent Airship Of Doom went through a new portal into another universe. The boss man could just see the fading light of the red giant they have created disappearing behind them as the portal consumed the ship.
Once fully through, the portal closes behind them with a zip and then once again the ship stops near a Jupiter, awaiting to fire its deadly weapon again. It'll be quiet awhile though as a fresh new shipment of power sources will be delivered in due time, which will then power the cannon up to 70%. Until then, he decided to pass the time by checking the readouts of this universe.
From what he picked up; this Earth has two boys in superhero outfits, lived in some sort of clubhouse, and we're called Fanboy and Chum Chum. How amusing, but all good things must come to an end. That's what he learned a long time ago and besides all he is really doing is simply speeding up the natural progress of things. If he doesn't do it, the stars will do it themselves in about a billion years and honestly who has time to wait for that?
Suddenly the doors opened up, shortly followed by the loud voice of Zim. "Boss man! You wanted to see the mighty Zim!"
"Indeed I do. Come here." He motions the Irken to come forward in which he does so before stopping in front of the stairs. "I summoned you here to simply congratulate you on making our dreams come true."
"Yes. I fully expected you to give Zim his fully deserve gratitude for no monkey brained Earth creature could make something like this." Now raising his fists up, Zim goes into another one of his screaming speeches. "No one, but the genius that is held by the mighty Zim!"
"It's clear that you're very proud of yourself." He remarked. "Which you very well should be. To create something of this magnitude is nothing sort of easy, but now do tell me. Is everything good for us to run the ship smoothly?"
"It is my trusty ally. Thanks to my superior Irken tech, all systems can run automatically without any need of checking in on them. As for the ghost containment tubes. Just as long as those filthy, stupid Krang could manage it, then there's no need to worry about the ectoplasm scum from escaping." Tweaking his fingers together during his gloating, Zim couldn't help but hunch himself forward a bit with a evil smile. Meanwhile above him the eyes showed that they were very pleased with the results.
"You done very good work my alien friend and your hard work deserves a reward."
With his two antennas standing straight up. Zim got excited as this reward could only mean one thing. "Are you going to rightfully hand this ship over to the Irken Armada?"
"Not quite yet." He waved off. "I still have plenty of uses for it, before I'm willing to give it away."
"Then what's Zim's award?"
"Can't say as it's a surprise. Go on down to room A-76, and you'll find your will deserved reward." Giving Zim a shooing motion, the boss man turned his attention to the orbiting Jupiter. Filled with curiosity on this mysterious reward, Zim went off to find out on what it is.
Heading to A-76 from all the way up here is a long trek, but by both taking the elevator and a monorail system, Zim got there in no time. Now standing in front of a grey door with cautionary paint stripes going across from both the top and bottom, Zim pushes the left-side button and waited patiently as the door slowly opened up to a very dark room. He didn't see anything yet, it must be further in the room he deduced.
Entering into the middle of the dark room, Zim uses his PAK to light up the completely empty room which very well confused him. "Where's Zim's reward?"
Looking around more closely for perhaps it's hidden somewhere, Zim suddenly heard the door behind him close with a slam, plunging the room into further darkness. "What is going on around here? Why is Zim trapped in this room?"
Suddenly a great puff of wind sucks Zim right up into a hidden tube on the ceiling, he quickly travels up and down a tube system before getting shot out into the vastness of space.
"BETRAYAL!"
Watching in satisfaction as that foolish alien is at last gone. The boss man relaxed himself in his chair and released a heavy sigh as now things can be a bit more quieter around here without the constant laughs or overdramatic speeches.
