It was a rainy day at Juuban Elementary. At Chibiusa's classroom, the students showed their crafts to one another. Chibiusa sat at her desk, admiring the Holy Grail that she, Usagi, and Mamoru worked on together. Then, the bell rang, signaling the start of class, and the teacher came in.

"All right, class," the teacher spoke. "As you're all well aware, this week's assignment is about giving a present to someone important. I would like you to give someone special the clay projects you made. That particular someone can be a family member or even your best friend, as long as they know how much you care for them."

Chibiusa looked across to Momoka. "Who are you going to give yours to, Momo?" she asked.

"I'm going to give it to my mom," replied Momoka with a smile. "Her birthday's coming up, and I think it'll be perfect for her."

Kyuusuke then came up to Chibiusa's desk and held out a clay mug which was the finished product of his project. It was pink and had a picture of a familiar sailor guardian of the moon. "Here you go, Chibiusa, this is for you," he said.

"Oh, wow! A Sailor Moon pencil holder!" gasped Momoko in amazement. "That's pretty awesome, Kyuusuke!"

"But, how come you're giving it to me?" asked Chibiusa.

Kyuusuke's cheeks went pink as he averted his eyes. "Well, uh, it's because- you're my," he stammered shyly. "Well, you're a girl I like hanging out with, okay? So it's a token of our friendship."

All the girls in the class, including Momoko, could only smirk slyly, sensing the gesture was more than just a token of friendship.

Chibiusa then remembered Hotaru while thinking about what Kyuusuke said, which gave her an idea.

"In that case, I think I know what to do with my gift," she said with a smile. "I'll give it to Hotaru."

"Hotaru? Who's Hotaru?" asked Momoko.

"She's this girl who's this pretty and also mysterious," said Chibiusa. "And she's also a good friend of mine."

At Mugen Academy, Hotaru was walking towards the entrance heading home early. Some of the girls were hanging out outside their classrooms as she walked. They were either on the second floor or in their little hang-out spots. Hotaru could feel all of them staring at her and hear them talking.

"Hey, it's that sixth-grader, Tomoe," one spoke snidely. "She's leaving early again?"

"I heard that she's not feeling well," said another. "Well, I'd be too if I had to wear tights and long sleeves all year long like her."

"And she's always so gloomy," said a third. "No wonder she's such a weirdo."

"Well, yeah, she's the daughter of that eccentric scientist, after all," scoffed a fourth. "Guess it runs in the family, and it's no wonder that she doesn't have any friends."

Hotaru tried her best not to pay attention, but each word she heard felt like a needle pricking her skin. Then, she felt a minor attack seize her up, causing her to stumble and fall to her knees while dropping her school bag spilling all of its contents. The sickly tried to pick up her things, wanting to get away as soon as possible, but as she did, two of the schoolgirls came up to her, and one stepped on her pencil case, making it dent.

"Whoops, sorry about that," the girl spoke sarcastically. "Didn't see you there. I should watch where I'm going."

"Should we help you pick them up?" mocked the second.

The two girls then laughed, thinking what they were doing was funny. At that moment, Hotaru glared, her violet eyes turning cold with hate as a dark and sinister aura shrouded her for a split second, causing the girls to step back with fright. Hotaru then picked up the rest of her things and continued on her way without saying a single word, while the two girls could only stare at her, wondering what it was they felt while feeling unnerved.

At Juuban Middle, Usagi and Harusuke stood in the hall outside of their classroom. The two Tsukino's looked sad as they stared outside, watching the rainfall. Makoto and Ami happened to be close by and saw how unhappy the Tsukino's looked. Wanting to see what was wrong, they came over, and Makoto gave both siblings a hard slap on their backs, making them jump simultaneously.

"Hey there, you two! Why the long faces?" Makoto asked cheerily. "You both look like it's the end of the world."

"Well, the thing is," Usagi spoke hesitantly. "I want to see Haruka and Michiru. They're both Guardians like us, and despite what they've been saying, they both have been helping us. But what I don't understand is why do they keep acting like we're enemies."

"Yeah. I feel the same way," agreed Harusuke. "We want to meet them and talk things out, face to face."

Ami and Makoto were about to speak, but the bell began to chime.

"Shoot. I have club activities right now," realized Makoto.

"So do I," said Ami.

Usagi and Harusuke were sadder still. Makoto hugged the two.

"Don't worry, you guys. Things'll work out when they are supposed to," she reassured.

"You two should focus on your own lives and worry less about them," added Ami. She looked across to the ordango blonde. "And besides, shouldn't you be taking a make-up exam right now?"

Usagi went frozen while turning white as a sheet, and with a reluctant turn on her heel, she sadly walked away. "You're right," she mumbled. "I should get going."

Harusuke, Ami, and Makoto could only watch as the girl dashed away, feeling concerned.

At the greenhouse, Makoto and her club tended to the plants inside.

"I gotta hand it to you, Makoto; you're a wonder when it comes to plants," said a boy as he watered some flowers. "Ever since you joined the club, our greenhouse has many different species. And it seems like the flowers are always in bloom."

"You think so?" wondered Makoto.

"Of course I do," smiled the boy. "By the way, do you happen to have a favorite flower?"

"Yeah. The Camellia flower," replied Makoto.

Then, at the very mention of the flower, Makoto started to remember a particular boy that she had known long ago, which made her feel a bit nostalgic and a bit sad.

"The Sasanqua Camellia," she thought. "Even after all this time, it still makes me think of him, the guy that broke my heart."

"Anyway, I wanted to ask you something," continued the boy. "Have you ever heard of a house plant called a Tellun?"

"Can't say that I have," replied Makoto. "I've never heard of it."

"It's a plant that's low maintenance because it doesn't need to be water," explained the boy. "Instead, it takes in the moisture from the air as its nutrients. They're all the rage right now, and the Mugen Botanical Gardens is selling them. They're flying off the shelves."

Makoto was interested, but not because of the Tellun.

At the Hikawa Shrine, Usagi and the group met up for their usual strategy meeting, going over what Ami had seen back when she went to Mugen on her solo mission.

"As we suspected, The Death Busters are nesting inside Mugen Academy," explained Luna. "Which means there's a good chance they're using the school itself as their base."

"I say we should move in before things get worse," said Rei. "There's no time to lose."

"The energy readings I'm picking up from Mugenzu are abnormally high. Most especially from Mugen Academy," Ami said as she typed away on her laptop.

Usagi then took a peek over Ami's shoulder as an article of Professor Tomoe popped up on the screen. "Professor Tomoe, eh?" she hummed, trying to sound like a detective. "He looks rather suspicious if you ask me, and it says here on this article that he has a daughter, too."

"Yeah, Hotaru Tomoe," said Harusuke.

Usagi looked back at her brother in surprise, remembering back to their first encounter. "Wait, how do you know that?"

"I just so happened to meet the man in question when Chibiusa and I walked home with her once," said Harusuke. "Believe me, I had my suspicions, but I was as surprised as you when I found out."

After their meeting, while walking in the rain, the teens all headed home for the day. Then, as they walked past a flower shop, Makoto happened to notice something. In front of the store was a display of plants that she had never seen before. They were all green with their leaves in a strange shape.

"This must be that new plant I heard about," Makoto thought. "Which means that these must be from the Mugen Botanical Garden."

The shopkeeper then came out. "Are you interested in buying one?" she asked. "These are such big hot sellers and easy to take care of; everyone seems to want one. You're lucky that I still have some in stock."

At first, Makoto wasn't sure if she should buy one, but considering her love for plants, she decided what harm it would be. So, she bought herself a Tellun. Then, while she carried the unusual plant, Minako helped shield her from the rain by using her umbrella.

"You love plants, don't you, Mako?" smiled Minako.

"Yeah, but I'm a bit curious about this one," said Makoto. She then looked at the Tellun's tag, reading it. "Tellun, bred by Lulu Teruno of Mugen Academy."

As the group walked on, they didn't know someone else had come to inspect the Tellun. That person was Setsuna.

Usagi and Harusuke soon arrived home. When they got there, they saw Chibiusa. She was just putting on her shoes about to leave.

"Hey there, Chibiusa. Where are you off to?" asked Usagi.

"To Hotaru's place," replied Chibiusa.

Usagi and Harusuke then gasped, both remembering about Professor Tomoe. Of course, neither one of them didn't want Chibiusa to be in danger, but at the same time, this was an excellent opportunity for them to find out more about him and Hotaru.

"Chibiusa, let us go with you," Usagi and Harusuke spoke together.

The pink ordango was a bit surprised but agreed.

The three soon arrived at the Tomoe Research Laboratory. As they looked around the halls, it was tranquil, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing.

"Chibiusa, are you sure that it's okay for us to enter without permission like this?" Usagi whispered tentatively.

"Yeah. I mean, we are technically trespassing," Harusuke also whispered. "If someone catches us, we're gonna get it for sure."

"It's no big deal," said Chibiusa. "No one answering on the intercom, and the gates were open."

Then came trouble. Someone came walking out from behind the corner just in front, and when Usagi and Harusuke saw who it was, they felt their skin pale, and their eyes went wide. It was Kaolinite under her guise as Kaori.

"K-Kaolinite?!" the two of them mentally screamed.

As soon as Kaori saw them, she glared, her stare seeming to pierce straight at them. "What are you three doing in this laboratory?" she spoke coldly. "Surely, you realize that you're trespassing."

None of the Tsukinos could speak. At that moment, Hotaru appeared.

"It's okay, Kaori," she spoke firmly. "These three are my guests. Please, come this way."

The Tsukinos followed Hotaru to her room while Kaori clicked in her tongue, fuming. As they walked, Harusuke and Usagi privately spoke to one another.

"Harusuke, you saw what I just saw, right?" Usagi whispered tentatively. "Please tell me that I saw things?!"

"Usagi, calm down," Harusuke spoke harshly. "If you let her see you, she'll-"

"How can you expect me to be calm?!" Usagi whispered hysterically. "Kaolinite's alive! There's no way it could be her! We both saw her die from that last battle!"

"I know! I know!" Harusuke mumbled, trying not to yell. "But we have to calm down! If she catches us freaking out like this, we end up busting open a can of worms!"

"Hey, what are you two mumbling about over there?" wondered Chibiusa. "Is everything okay?"

Usagi and Harusuke flinched and quickly recollected themselves.

"Don't worry! Everything's fine!" Usagi squeaked. "Just having a private brother and sister chat. Isn't that right, Harusuke?"

"Um, yeah, what she said," concurred Harusuke.

Chibiusa was confused, but she paid no mind as they all went into Hotaru's room.

"So, what brings you three here today?" asked Hotaru.

Chibiusa dug into her backpack and presented her the clay Holy Grail. "I made this for a school project," she said. "I'd like you to have it."

Being the first time seeing it, Harusuke marveled at it. "Whoa. It's beautiful!" he gasped with wonder.

Usagi, however, was surprised. "Hey! You can't just give it away like that!" she protested. "Mamo and I worked hard to make that Holy Grail for you!"

"Well, my teacher told me to give this to someone precious for my assignment," said Chibiusa. "So, I thought I'd give it to her as a token of our friendship."

Usagi puffed her cheeks in a pout. "Well, I guess that's fine," she huffed a bit sulkily. "But are you sure that you wouldn't want to give it to Mamo?"

"I can't do that because you and Mamo both helped me make it," said Chibiusa. "If I only gave it to him, that wouldn't be fair to you."

That made Usagi stop sulking out of surprise. Then, Hotaru spoke up.

"Chibiusa, I appreciate it, and I do apologize, but I can't accept this gift," she said kindly. "The people who love you made this for you, right? So I think it's something that you should share with them, and not me. But thank you for thinking of me. It was nice of you."

Usagi, Chibiusa, and Harusuke could only stare at the girl in amazement as Hotaru smiled.

"Her eyes are so deep and dark," Harusuke thought to himself. "It's almost like she's pulling me in as if she knows everything."

At that moment, an uncomfortable feeling seeped into her body. The sense of Mother Nature calling.

"Um, excuse me, Hotaru? Would you mind...? Where's the...?" the ordango blonde spoke while fidgeting a bit.

"Down at the end of the hall," replied Hotaru. "To your right."

"Thanks! I'll be right back!" Usagi spoke as she dashed out of the room.

"Usagi! Hold on!" Harusuke called out. "Let me go with you!"

He wanted to go with her if Kaolinite was lurking about, but it was no use. Usagi was already gone.

"Geez. How embarrassing," sighed Chibiusa.

Hotaru could only laugh, but suddenly, pain seized her chest again, causing her to fall on her knees while clutching her chest, gasping in agony.

"Hotaru!" Chibiusa cried as she rushed over to her. "Are you okay?!"

"She must be having another attack again!" Harusuke spoke. "We should get her to a doctor!"

But then, Hotaru reached out towards Chibiusa and touched the brooch she was wearing. Immediately, it started to shine, and Hotaru's eyes slowly opened, her purple eyes appearing distant and vacant.

"Chibiusa, for some reason, I feel much better after touching your amulet. All of my pain is gone now," said Hotaru. "The power inside of it, does it have a name at all?"

Chibiusa smiled. "It's the Legendary Silver Crystal," she replied.

"Chibiusa!" Harusuke spoke with concern. "Don't go telling her that!"

Then, something strange happened. As Hotaru continued touching the silver crystal, she spoke again, but this time, her voice changed into an eerie and ominous demeanor.

"The Legendary Silver Crystal. It feels so wonderful, like it's giving me unlimited power."

"Um, Hotaru? Is something wrong?" asked Chibiusa worriedly.

Hotaru blinked, the light returning into her eyes and her senses back to normal as she quickly retracted her hand.

"What was that just now?" the girl wondered to herself. "For a moment, I longed to have Chibiusa's amulet. But why? It was as if someone else was inside of me and took me over."

At the same time, outside the room, Kaolinite stood close by the door, having seen and heard everything.

Meanwhile, Usagi had just finished refreshing herself and was washing her hands. As she did, she looked out the window noticing the Mugen Academy building.

"So, Mugen Academy is right behind this lab," Usagi thought to herself. "Maybe this place does experiments on animals just like the one Ami saw at the school? It makes me wonder what kind of research they're doing here?"

Usagi then decided to do some investigating. She snuck carefully around the shadowed halls keeping a close eye for anything suspicious.

"I also better be careful of Kaolinite, too," she spoke to herself. "There's a strong possibility that she might recognize me from when she tried to take my pure heart before. And if she does, I better be ready to fight."

Usagi came to a corner, carefully peeking out to see if no one was around. Then, a hand reached out and touched Usagi on the shoulder, causing the girl to jump with fright. She then turned around, only to find that the hand belonged to Suichi Tomoe, his one lense glasses shining in the darkness.

"Hello there," greeted Suichi. "May I help you?"

"I, um, well!" said Usagi. "I was just looking for Hotaru's room! But I ended up getting myself lost!"

"I see," said Suichi. "You must be a friend of my daughter's. Allow me to show you the way. I was just about to head there myself."

"Um, thank you very much," said Usagi, trying not to be nervous.

Tomoe then led Usagi to Hotaru's room, knocking on the door before entering.

"Hotaru," he said. "It's time for your health check-up."

"In that case, we should get going too," urged Usagi. "We don't want to keep our folks waiting. Right, Harusuke?"

"R-Right," said Harusuke. "We don't."

Then, after saying goodbye to Hotaru and Suichi, the three Tsukinos headed home. As they did, Harusuke couldn't help but notice that Usagi looked a bit unnerved.

"Usagi, what's the matter?" he asked her quietly. "You look a bit pale. You didn't run into Kaolinite, did you?"

"No, I didn't," Usagi replied as she looked back. "But I did run into Professor Tomoe. Something was off with him."

"What makes you say that?" wondered Harusuke.

The ordango blonde then shuddered. "When that man first touched my shoulder, it felt as cold and hard as a chunk of ice," she said. "Almost as if it wasn't even human."

As the three crossed the crosswalk, Chibiusa happened to glance over on the other side of the street, and she saw a familiar woman with long dark green hair with a bun on top of her head. While recognizing her, Chibiusa stopped walking in time for a bus to speed by, and the woman disappeared.

"Chibiusa? Is something wrong?" asked Usagi.

"N-No. It's nothing," replied Chibiusa.

"No. It can't be," Chibiusa thought. "She couldn't be walking around here."

The next day, Minako came over to Makoto's apartment for a visit. When Minako came in, she couldn't help but be amazed by the numerous plant life.

"Wow! Guess it's been a while since I've been to this place," said Minako. "Did you get more plants recently?"

"Yeah, but most of them aren't doing very well. Probably because of the rain," said Makoto. "In the meantime, would you like some tea?"

Minako eagerly agreed. The two were soon enjoying the tea along with cookies and apple slices. Then, Makoto let out a yawn as she stretched her arms.

"Man, I'm starting to get sleepy," Makoto mumbled as she lay on the table.

"Yeah. Me too," said Minako, as she tried to stifle a yawn.

The two girls eventually fell fast asleep at the table. As she slept, a sweet smell wafted into Makoto's nose. The sweet scent of flowers in bloom, which in turn, made her start dreaming. She was in a strange rainbow-colored void standing on a blanket of flowers with only a single tree standing ahead of her. Underneath that tree, she saw the shadowed figure of a boy standing there. The figure turned towards her direction, and Makoto could hear him calling out to her.

"Mako. The flowers are blooming."

"Who is that?" wondered Makoto, recognizing the voice. "It sounds so familiar. Is it Nichogi?"

Then, she heard Minako's voice, which sounded urgent.

"Mako! Mako, wake up! Mako!"

Makoto then sleepily sat up, finding herself back in her apartment. "Minako, what's going on?" she mumbled while rubbing her eyes. "I was in the middle of a nice dream."

"Never mind that!" Minako cried while pointing at the window. "Take a look over there!"

Makoto looked, and she wasn't sleepy anymore. On the window sill where most of her plants were, she was surprised to see that the Tellun plant she bought the day before had drastically changed. It had now grown two pink budding flowers.

"No way! It's budding after only one day?!" she gasped.

"Never mind that!" Minako insisted. "Look at the plants!"

Makoto looked and was shocked to see that the plants resting on either side of the Tellun had all shriveled up and turned brown, having to have withered and died. Then, the Tellun's flowers slowly started to open up about to bloom, letting out an ominous vapor as they did. Immediately, Makoto shot to her feet, grabbing the knife used to cut the apples, and with a single stroke, sliced the flowers off of their stems and scattering the petals on the floor. Before Minako could ask why she destroyed the Tellun began to wilt until it faded away into dust along with its petals rapidly.

Meanwhile, Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa were in Downtown Juuban, stopping by a board that displayed a town map. As she stared at it, Usagi happened to notice Mugen Academy on it, which appeared to be in the shape of a triangle.

"Something on your mind, Usagi?" asked Harusuke.

"I was just thinking about how the different areas of Mugenzu connect," said Usagi. But then, she realized something as she continued looking at the map and reading the districts' names. "Wait a minute. Harusuke, take a look at this. Don't these names remind you of something?"

Harusuke then took a look at the names, the names being Tenohzu, Meiohzu, and Kaiohzu. At first, he didn't understand, but then, it hit him. Two of the names resembled the last names of two girls they knew.

"Hold on. Those names," Harusuke spoke with surprise. "Those names are just like the household names of Haruka and Michiru!"

Just then, a voice shouted out to them.

"Usagi! Harusuke!"

The Tsukinos looked up and saw Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako running up to them.

"Hey, guys. What's the matter?" asked Usagi.

"Yeah. You guys look frantic," said Harusuke. "Did something happen?"

"Mugen Botanical Garden is our enemy!" Makoto told them. "It's those Tellun plants! They're dangerous."

Before Usagi or Harusuke could ask what Makoto was talking about, they noticed two people walking by from the corner of their eyes. Then, they gasped, for those two people turned out to be Haruka and Michiru.

"Haruka!" cried Usagi.

"Michiru!" gasped Harusuke.

Both girls in question jumped, and when they saw them, they took off running. '

"Wait! Don't go!" cried Usagi, as she chased after them.

"Come back!" yelled Harusuke as he dashed after his sister.

"Usagi! Harusuke! Wait a minute!" shouted Makoto.

But it was no use. The Tsukinos were already gone. Haruka and Michiru ran as fast as their feet would let them, while Usagi and Harusuke followed in hot pursuit. The Tsukinos didn't understand why the two were running, wondering if they were avoiding them. However, they both knew they wanted to talk to them, which might be their only chance. So the chase continued until Usagi and Harusuke lost sight of the two. But they found themselves in front of an apartment complex they'd never been to before. Feeling that they both were somewhere inside, the two Tsukinos went inside, searching the floors.

"So those two have been living in the Minato Ward this whole time?" spoke Harusuke. "Talk about being so close and yet so far."

Then, the two came to a room that bore the number 1127 and had Haruka's full name below it, meaning that this was where she and Michiru lived. At first, neither one of them said a word, then Usagi touched the door with her hand and rested her hand against it.

"Haruka, I don't know if you're there or not, but please listen to me," said Usagi. "We're all Sailor Guardians, so why can't we fight together?"

No one answered. Usagi's eyes began to fill with tears. "Why don't you say anything? Answer me."

Again, no one answered. Harusuke then touched his sister on the shoulder, squeezing it in comfort. Then, he spoke next.

"Hey, Michiru. I don't know for sure if you and Haruka are in there or not, but if you are, you better listen up," he spoke firmly. "I don't know why you two are so adamant about pushing us away, but there's something you should know. You can push us away all you want, but my sister and I aren't the types of people to give up. Especially since we can sense how much you two are suffering. I won't ask why you both refuse to talk to us because everyone has things they don't want to talk about, but no matter what happens and no matter where you go, we'll always be there for you because you're our friends and comrades, and we won't stand idly by while a friend in need is in trouble. When you're ready to talk to us, you know where to look."

He turned to his sister.

"Come on, Sis. Let's go," he spoke gently.

The Tsukinos then walked away, unaware that Haruka and Michiru were standing just behind the door, the two of them wearing sorrowful expressions.

When the Tsukino siblings came outside, they found the other Guardians waiting.

"Usagi. Harusuke. We understand how the two of you feel, but we can't allow the enemy to hurt more innocent people," said Makoto. "That's our mission, and that's what we have to focus on; you both know that, right?"

The sorrow of Usagi's face was replaced with determination as she and her brother gave a firm nod in response, ready to do their duties as Guardians.

Meanwhile, in her lab, Setsuna was in a predicament of her own. You see, she too had bought a tellun as well, unaware of the terror it had, and it had bloomed as well. It started draining Setsuna's life energy when it did until the woman collapsed on the floor. The woman tried to pull herself back up, but she couldn't.

"I... can't breathe. And the life getting sucked out of me," the woman spoke in her thoughts. "Is this... how it all ends? Is this how I'm going to die?"

As her eyelids grew heavier, it seemed that it was over for Setsuna. But then, a spark of light ignited in her mind as she suddenly remembered something important.

"No! I can't die here! Not yet!" said Setsuna. "I need to remember the reason I was born and why I was reborn!"

At that moment, Setsuna's body began to radiate in a purple glow as a symbol, reminiscent of the letter P, which appeared in the middle of her forehead as a voice spoke.

"Awaken! The time has come!"

Mamoru was walking home to his apartment. A powerful gust of wind blew about at that moment, making several flower petals swirl around him. At first, Mamoru was surprised, but then he sensed something. A familiar yet powerful energy signature.

"What is that?!" Mamoru wondered. "Something's just been awakened! I can feel it!"

Then, as Mamoru looked back to this mysterious power it was coming from, he saw something jumping over the rooftops of the buildings. At first, he didn't know who it was, but as it got closer, Mamoru could see that the person was wearing a familiar black trenchcoat and wore a fedora hat. He then knew who it was.

"It's Specter!" gasped Mamoru.

As the person in question leaped past him, they called out to Mamoru.

"Hey, Tuxedo Mask! You'd better get going! Something big's about to go down at the Mugen Botanical Garden, and you don't want to miss it!"

"Hey! Wait! What are you talking about?!" Mamoru called out.

But Specter shot past without answering him and wanting to know what he meant and what was going on; Mamoru followed close behind.

Later that night, the gang arrived at the greenhouse at Mugen Academy. When they got inside, everywhere they looked was lush, green, and overgrown with plants.

"Geez, it's like a jungle in here," murmured Makoto.

"No kidding," said Harusuke. "Anyone got a machete or something?"

Then Rei saw something that made her gasp. "Look over there!" she cried, pointing.

Over by the seating area, several people lay sprawled around unconscious on the ground or the tables.

"They're all unconscious!" gasped Minako.

Makoto then sniffed the air, detecting a familiar scent. Sure enough, she saw the source of the smell or realized where it was coming from. Below their feet and carpeting the entire floor were several Telluns. "I knew it! They're all Telluns!" she gasped.

Suddenly, a black star appeared from above and started glowing. Then, a wave of vertigo shot through everyone, causing everyone to fall to the ground, losing strength.

"Wh-What's going on?!" gasped Usagi. "My strength... is draining out of me!"

"M-Me too!" panted Chibiusa, her voice growing weaker by the second.

Then, there was the sound of mocking laughter as a feminine shadow appeared before them, revealing herself to be Tellu of the Witches 5.

"Well, well. What incredible life energy you all have," Tellu spoke in amusement. "And to think the mighty Sailor Guardians just walked right into my trap of their own free will. Lucky me." She then flicked her finger, and one of the Telluns came floating onto her hand. "These plants are all a part of me, beautiful flowers that thrive on life energy. The blossoms you see around you have energy, concentrated souls, also known as Hosts, and they're all for my Master, Pharoh 90. Once I offer them all to him and find the last talisman, Kaolinite will make me a magus just like her!"

"That's what you think!" Usagi cried out in defiance. "Come on, guys! Let's do this!"

Everyone then shouted their transformation phrases.

"MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE UP!"

"MOON PRISM POWER, MAKE UP!"

"MERCURY PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"MARS PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"JUPITER PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"VENUS PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"SOLAR CRYSTAL POWER, SHINE ON!"

Transformation Sequence: Usagi

Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina and takes a slight bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Finally, Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Chibiusa

The Prism Heart Compact opens, revealing Chibiusa's Silver Crystal inside it. It begins to glow pink until a heart made of light pops up from it, flipping and overtaking the screen, revealing Chibiusa bathed in light with the Prism Heart Compact in the center of her chest. The compact bursts with pink ribbons that tighten and wrap around Chibiusa's body, making her leotard. Chibiusa then spins around as a red bow appears where her compact is on her chest. Pink ribbons then wrap around her legs, forming her pink boots and around her waist, forming her skirt and red bow at the back. Her gloves materialize next, and white-bordered red circular accents on her odango appear, along with pointed white fittings resembling a rabbit's ears, a golden tiara with a red gem, a pink choker around her neck, and pink studded earrings. Her transformation finished, Chibiusa winks and then strikes her signature pose with a crescent moon in a pink background shining brightly.

Transformation Sequence: Ami

The planet Mercury appears, and Ami puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright blue, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design, as she takes hold of it. Next, her body becomes silhouetted in blue as water comes out from her wand. While spinning around, the water swirls around her body, forming her Sailor Uniform and her symbols. Finally, a ripple of water overshadows her, and she emerges wearing her uniform with knee-high blue boots, a pair of earrings, a light blue bow in front and the back, gloves with blue trims, and a blue skirt choker and collar. Ami then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation finished; she assumes her final pose, her sign and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.

Transformation Sequence: Rei

The planet Mars appears, and Rei puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright red, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design, as she takes hold of it. Her body becomes silhouetted in red as a giant pillar of fire erupts from her wand. While spinning around, the fire swirled around her body, concealing her in a cocoon and burst revealing several tongues of flame surrounding Rei's body. The flames disperse, revealing Rei in her red Sailor Uniform wearing red heels, a pair of earrings, a purple bow in front, a red ribbon in the back, gloves with red trims, and a red skirt, choker, and collar. Rei then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation finished; she assumes her final pose, her sign and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.

Transformation Seuence: Makoto

The planet Jupiter appears, and Makoto puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright green, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design. Her body now becomes silhouetted in green, as blue lightning erupted from her wand while holding it up. As she spins around a few times, until stopping with her back turned, the lightning swirls around her, forming rings like an atom. Finally, the lightning explodes, revealing Makoto in her green Sailor Uniform wearing green boots, a pair of rose earrings, a pink bow and ribbon, gloves with green trims, and a green skirt, choker, and collar. Makoto then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and then her tiara materializes. Then, it explodes into several yellow stars, revealing Minako in her orange Sailor Uniform wearing orange heels, a pair of earrings, a blue bow in front, and yellow ribbon in the back, gloves with orange trims, and an orange skirt, choker, and collar. Minako then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation finished; she assumes her final pose, her sign and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.

Transformation Sequence: Solaris (Post Crystal)

Harusuke's hand waves over the Sunstone Crystal, and it begins to pulse with light until it shines brightly. Harusuke, now shrouded in light, holds his hand with the Sunstone Crystal up high and throws his fist to the floor, and his symbol appears beneath him. Light encases his legs up to his hips, and in a burst of light, his boots, belt, and additional armor on his thighs materialize. Then his right encompasses his right arm from hand to shoulder, and his gloves, along with some armor, appear, and the same happens to his left hand. Harusuke then punches his fists together, creating a spark of light, and crosses his arms as his chest gets wrapped in light. Harusuke then throws his arms out, and his chest plate appears, the symbol in the middle glowing brightly. Finally, his helmet appears on his head, this time covering up his entire head, leaving his face exposed. Harusuke opens his eyes smiling with confidence, his transformation now complete, and assumes his signature pose, with the sun appearing in the background while his symbol overlapped it.

"So, you've finally revealed yourselves, Sailor Guardians. Then I shall do the same," Tellu spoke with a curtsy. "I'm a member of the Death Buster's Witches 5, Tellu, and I'm level four-hundred and four, and with my high level, I'll take all of your hosts and the rest of your powers!"

The Guardians all responded by attacking simultaneously, using their signature moves.

"MERCURY AQUA MIRAGE!"

"MARS SNAKE FIRE!"

"VENUS WINK CHAIN SWORD!"

As Mars, Mercury, and Venus's attacks unleashed, Tellu leaped high in the air, dodging them with ease while using one of her own.

"MANDRAGORA BUSTER!"

From her hand, she unleashed a powerful green sphere of energy at the three and flung it at them, causing the three to jump up and dodge. Sailor Jupiter then attacked next.

"JUPITER COCONUT CYCLONE!"

She fired her mighty sphere of lightning, but Tellu quickly blocked it and brushed it harmlessly away with ease. Sailor Moon then summoned her Cutie Moon Rod and Solaris, his Astral Light Nimbus Blade. Finally, Tellu made a ring of levitating flower petals appear from her hand, holding out in front of her as they did.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

"SOLARIS CELESTIAL BLADE SLASH!"

Sailor Moon unleashed a powerful blast of hearts while Solaris shot forward with the intent of cutting Tellu in half. But then, Tellu held out her hand, making the flower petals spin rapidly, forming a strange barrier as soon Sailor Moon's attack collided with it, absorbing it until it shrank into nothing. And as Solaris swung his blade, Tellu caught it with one hand. Then, in an incredible feat of strength, Tellu tossed Solaris away, sending him flying and to the ground as his sword returned to black.

"No way!" gasped Sailor Moon in shock. "She stopped both of our attacks!"

Sailor Chibi Moon was also shocked, but she refused to give up and still wanted to fight. However, she knew she lacked the power to do so. So, she clasped her hands together and began to pray as hard as she could.

"Please, Mommy! Give me power!" Sailor Chibi Moon begged in her thoughts. "Give me the strength to fight, so I can help support Sailor Moon and Solaris!"

At that moment, Luna P appeared before in a brilliant flash. Then, it transformed into her Pink Moon Rod in a puff of smoke, but it now looked different than before. It bore a resemblance to Sailor Moon's, but it was much smaller, had red wings, a large pink gem on top, and had a matching star.

Sailor Chibi Moon was amazed. "Is... this a new rod?" she wondered. "One of my very own?"

She then returned her attention to Tellu and mimicked the same spinning motion Sailor Moon did as she unleashed her signature attack.

"PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!"

This time, unlike the others, a powerful blast of hearts erupted from her wand. Unfortunately, like before, Tellu's flower petals spun around on top of her hand and absorbed it as well. Then, a blanket of vines enveloped her entire body as she began to transform. In seconds, she burst free, revealing her new appearance. She now looked more feral than before, her skin was sickly gray, and the leaves on her skirt tattered.

"This is bad! She's transformed into her Daimon form!" cried Sailor Mercury. "Just like what happened with Viluy!"

Tellu then slammed her fist into the ground making several vines shoot out from it, each one nailing all of the Guardians and incapacitating them. Then, Tuxedo Mask came bursting through the window of the greenhouse.

"Sailor Chibi Moon!" he shouted.

But despite his appearance, even he wouldn't be able to make it time due to being too slow. At that moment, a familiar voice quietly spoke out.

"PLUTO DEAD SCREAM."

A massive and powerful glowing sphere of purple energy came shooting out from the darkness, and seconds struck Tellu, immediately destroying her and saving Sailor Chibi Moon, just in time.

The Guardians, including Tuxedo Mask, were shocked and amazed, while Sailor Chibi Moon froze in disbelief.

"That voice, and that attack," Sailor Chibi Moon murmured. "It can't be."

Sure enough, as she and the others turned around, they saw a familiar face standing there, holding her Garnet Rod in hand and her long green hair billowing in the wind.

It was none other than Sailor Pluto.
