Hello there, readers! After taking time off, and due to circumstances, I've decided to start on the next season of this fanfic! The Super S arc! I appreciate all of you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy it! In addition, I plan to get started on a specific feature for this season, but that's not till later!
Without further ado, let's get this started!
A lone figure stood before a large mirror in a separate space in an unknown spatial room.
The mirror was tall, had a white frame with gold trims, and its surface was a nasty, violet color.
The figure appeared to be an old hag wearing long dark purple robes that covered most of her form, excluding her head. She had lavender with wrinkles, green eyes, and long, thin pincers under her chin like a mantis. She also wore a white horned helmet with a black dot at the center of its crest and held a very tall white staff with a strange red pupil colored eyeball with black wings on its sides and a flame on top.
As the old hag gazed into the mirror, it began to show her an image of a particular planet in outer space, and she marveled upon seeing it.
"Earth, the place that we've always dreamed of, what a beautiful planet," the hag spoke in a throaty voice while grinning. "At last, the time has come, Queen Nehelenia."
She was in a beautiful landscape. Its grass, fields, and trees were a luscious bright green, the mountains were a brilliant purple-gray, and the sky was a bright shade of blue. She could also feel a gentle breeze brush past her pink ordango hair as she looked around in amazement.
Then, she heard the sound of a ring, a ring that appeared to have come from a bell chime.
She looked around curiously, wondering where the sound was coming from and what it was.
Then, she heard a whinny.
The little girl looked up and saw something that made her gasp in amazement.
A cloud shot across the sky in a spiral while having something shining inside it. Then, from the cloud, a pegasus emerged.
Its hair was white as snow with a bright blue mane, had a giant pair of wings, and a golden horn on top of its head that shone like the sun.
The little girl couldn't help but stare in awe as the Pegasus flew across the sky. Then, the Pegasus's horn shone brightly, illuminating the entire landscape. It was so bright that the little girl couldn't help but shield her eyes as the light overtook her vision, making everything white.
Chibiusa opened her eyes as the sun's morning rays arose her from her slumber. Then, while still feeling sleepy, she slowly sat up, feeling disappointed.
"Oh, well. It was just a dream," mumbled.
The pink ordango girl rubbed her eyes and stretched, waking up the muscles in her body. She then got out of bed and walked over to her desk while her calendar rested. She took one look at the calendar, and a smile tugged on her cheeks.
"Time to start another day," she said to herself as she left the room to get ready for the day.
Many months have passed since the battle with the Death Busters, and things have never been better for Usagi and the gang. The high school entrance exams at Juuban Middle had come and gone, and much to everyone's delight, those attending there had all passed with flying colors and got accepted to Juuban High School, including Usagi. In addition, Mamoru got into a medical school, Minako graduated from her school and would be attending Juuban High, and Rei also graduated.
As far as Chibiusa went, she had grown into a strong guardian. Her training now completed, she had planned to return to the thirtieth century. Usagi and the others understood this, wished her well, and promised to see her off on the day she would leave.
It was now Thursday. Usagi and the gang had arrived at Juuban Park. However, they found the place packed with many people staring up into the sky while talking excitedly.
"Whoa. This place is packed!" Usagi spoke in amazement.
"I wonder what's going on?" wondered Chibiusa. "Juuban Park's never usually had this many people around."
"Maybe there's some kind of event going on?" suggested Harusuke.
Just then, Motoki and his sister Unazuki came up to them.
"Hey, you guys! What's up?" Motoki greeted. "So, I take it you guys are here to see it too?"
"What do you mean, Motoki?" asked Mamoru. "Do you have any idea what's going on?"
"You don't know? It's been on the news," said Unazuki. "Today, there will be a total solar eclipse, the biggest in the century."
Usagi's group oohed in amazement.
Chibiusa, however, felt puzzled. "What's a total solar eclipse?" she wondered.
"That's when the sun, moon, and the Earth get into alignment, the moon moving in between us and the sun," explained Unazuki. "So, for a few moments today, the sun will be completely hidden behind the moon, and that's called a total eclipse."
"That's right!" concurred Usagi. "When that happens, the sky goes dark, and the world becomes spooky," She then made a face while speaking ominously to Chibiusa. "Weird and terrible things begin to happen. The dead rise from their graves, and the werewolves search for human blood."
"Oh, knock it off, Usagi," huffed Rei. "Stop trying to scare Chibiusa with your bogus nonsense."
"It's okay, Rei. Don't worry," Chibiusa spoke aloofly. "Half the time, I don't even listen to her bogus nonsense."
"What d'you mean by that?!" Usagi huffed. "It's not bogus! It's the tru-!" Then, she stopped midsentence, suddenly realizing. "Wait a second. I'm thinking of the full moon."
Everyone stared dumbly at the ordango blonde.
"Are you serious, Sis?" Harusuke groaned. "Sometimes, I wonder if you're ever thinking at all."
"Aw, come on. It was a simple mistake," Usagi sheepishly mumbled. "Full moon. No moon. I mean, they sound kinda similar."
"Well, since we're here, why don't we watch the eclipse too," suggested Mamoru. "We're not in a rush or anything."
"In that case, why don't you join us?" suggested Motoki. "We got a spot with enough space for all of us."
Everyone agreed and joined the Furuhata twins on a grassy hillside with unique sunglasses and viewers waiting for the eclipse.
"So, I take it that you're not working today, Motoki?" asked Makoto.
"Well, who'd be coming to the arcade?" chuckled Motoki. "Everyone in Juuban's over here."
"Yeah, no one's gonna wanna miss something that happens only once every couple million years," winked Minako.
"Technically, it's more once every few hundred years," said Ami. "But we're lucky to be seeing an event as rare as this one."
Then, Minako gasped, having an idea. "If it's so rare, do you think it'll grant my wish if I made one?!" she asked eagerly.
"Yeah, I think that only works for stars, Minako," said Harusuke. "Although, now that I think about it, the sun is technically a star."
But Minako's eyes sparkled as she began making her wish. "My dream is to be a star!" she spoke with wistful passion. "I wish to become the biggest star ever!"
Makoto joined in. "I wish to be a bride and get married!" she gushed. "My dream is to raise a family while running a flower shop or a cake shop on the side."
Minako pouted. "You're being too greedy, Mako!"
"Well, I'd like to be a singer, a songwriter, a model, a charming voice actress, and get married," smiled Rei. "But most of all, my biggest dream is to succeed my Grandpa and become a great head priest of the Hikawa Shrine."
"Mine is to become a doctor like my mom," said Ami. "And not just a good doctor, a great one."
"Those sound like wonderful dreams," said Usagi. "Of course, my dream is to marry Mamo, have Chibiusa, and live a happy life!"
Motoki then looked across to Harusuke. "So, what about you, Harusuke? What's your dream?" he asked.
Harusuke took a minute to think. "Well, if I'm being frank, I'm not sure I have one yet," he replied.
"Well, that's a surprise," said Unazuki. "I would have thought you'd had your dream figured out by now."
"I guess I still haven't decided yet," said Harusuke. "But don't worry. I still got time to decide on one. When I do, you guys will be the first to know."
The only one who didn't say anything was Chibiusa as she stared off into space, deep in thought. She couldn't stop thinking about the Pegasus she saw in her dream and wondered what it was.
Then, Unazuki interrupted her thought. "Hey, Chibiusa. What's got you so spaced out?" she wondered. "Everything okay?"
Chibiusa jumped a little. "O-Oh! Everything's fine," she replied. "I was just thinking."
Unazuki then grinned teasingly. "I bet you're thinking about a boy, aren't you?" she said. "Did you have a "fateful encounter"?"
Chibiusa's cheeks went pink while everyone in their group looked in her direction in surprise.
"Come on, Unazuki, Chibiusa's too young to be thinking about boys," chided Harusuke.
"You never know~," Unazuki went on teasing. "And you should be careful. Don't go doing anything your mom and dad would disapprove of."
Now, Usagi and Mamoru's cheeks were pink as they looked back and forth at each other and Chibiusa.
Motoki then chuckled. "Hey, Ms. pot? Have you met kettle?" he teased back. "I've noticed that something's been keeping you at work pretty darn late, and Mom's beginning to worry."
Unazuki was quick to get defensive. "Wh-What?! I don't know what you're talking about!" she huffed to her brother.
Everyone else let out a collective oooh with sly grins while Unazuki went red in embarrassment.
Mamoru then looked up with his glasses on. "Hey, you guys, it's about to start!" he said.
Everyone quickly got on their sunglasses and visors and looked towards the sky. The moon slowly began to overlap the sun, its shadow casting over Juuban, making everything start to grow darker.
But then, as everyone marveled at the sight, Chibiusa heard a familiar sound. The sound of a bell.
"That sound! It's just like what I heard in my dream!" she thought. "A clear, beautiful sound of a bell!"
And she wasn't the only one who heard it. Usagi did too. The two ordango girls looked across to each other, wondering if they imagined things. But then, they heard a voice.
"Please. Help me."
Upon hearing it, the two looked behind themselves and were surprised to see that the area around them had changed. The ordangos now stood in the same landscape Chibiusa dreamed about, a vast grassy plain surrounded by trees and mountains. Only this time, the Pegasus stood before them and turned out to be who they heard call out.
"Beautiful Maiden, I finally found you," the creature spoke in a male voice. "Please. Help Me."
Both girls were puzzled about who it was addressing as Maiden, but before they could even speak, the Pegasus let out a whinny and evaporated into a burst of sparkles. They also found themselves back to reality, still standing in Juuban Park.
Then, they heard Mamoru. "Was that a pegasus?" he wondered.
Immediately, Usagi and Chibiusa looked back at Mamoru, who appeared surprised.
"Mamoru, did you see that, too?" wondered Usagi.
Mamoru answered with a nod, but then a sharp twinge of pain went through his chest, causing him to wince and clutch it with his hand.
"Mamoru!" Usagi and Chibiusa cried, feeling worried.
"Don't worry, I'm fine," Mamoru reassured them. "I just got dizzy for a bit there."
Harusuke then looked over at the three and came over. "Hey. Is everything okay?" he asked. "You guys look a bit worried."
Usagi and Chibiusa tried to speak, but then, the moon fully eclipsed the sun, making everything dark, the crowd oohing and ahhing at this phenomenon.
Then, something began to emerge from the darkened moon. It appeared to be a white flagship made out of rugged stone. Usagi and her group were so surprised that they couldn't help but rub their eyes, making sure they weren't playing tricks on them.
As the flagship emerged from the moon, multiple voices came from it.
"Ladies and gentlemen! The circus is here!"
"Oh, city of light, full of dreams! The place filled with beautiful hopes and dreams!"
"We've been waiting for this moment for a long time!"
"Ready or not! Here comes the Dead Moon Circus!"
The moon then slowly moved away from the sun, lifting the darkness that cast Juuban. And as quickly as the vessel appeared, it quickly disappeared. After that, the oblivious citizens left, feeling excited. They believed. that the flagship was a special effect. However, Usagi and her group were worried.
"Did you guys see that?!" Usagi and Chibiusa exclaimed. "A flagship just came out of the eclipse!"
"Yeah. I think we all did," said Harusuke. "Kind of hard not to see it."
"No kidding," agreed Makoto. "What was that all about?"
"The Dead Moon Circus," said Ami. "If I'm not mistaken, that was what those voices said."
"So, does that ship mean trouble?" Chibiusa asked as she tugged on Mamoru's sleeve.
"Who knows?" said Mamoru. "But whatever that was, I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle. Right, Usa?"
Usagi smiled as she bopped her chest with confidence. "Of course, we will," she said. "Don't worry about us, Chibiusa. We got things covered here, so you can go back to the future without worrying, okay?"
Chibiusa chuckled. "If it were just you, I'd still be worried," she said cheekily. "But it'll be fine with Mamo, Uncle Sunny, and the others."
Usagi scowled while everyone else laughed a bit.
"But in all seriousness, I think you should wait a bit before going home, Chibiusa," said Luna. "It's a bit too crowded right now, so it might not be the best time."
"Yes, I agree. We should try again later," concurred Artemis. "In the meantime, Luna and I will look into that flagship. The rest of you, stay on guard."
"Right," everyone else acknowledged.
In another part of the Juuban Shopping District, the flagship had landed close to the Mamiana Sakaue Park, turning into a giant circus tent. Inside, numerous strange and eerie-looking creatures were laughing and cackling while doing various acts that you would see in a circus in the middle of the ring. Some were juggling knives and torches, others were riding unicycles, and some were dancing on tightropes.
Then, they were interrupted by a voice that came from a giant green statue reminiscent of an elephant on the side of the ring.
"All right! Quiet down! Quiet!"
Immediately everyone went silent, stopping what they were doing while bowing.
At the end of the elephant statue's trunk, where an open gold cage stood, a big puff of purple smoke billowed forth and from that smoke emerged the same old hag with the eyeball on her staff.
The old hag grumbled as she cracked her neck. "Honestly, the sun's been shining too brightly for these old bones," she said. "I feel much more at ease at night." She then spoke to the creatures below. "Now then, the time has come for us to establish our dominion in this world. But for our circus to flourish in this city, it seems that we'll have to act quickly. Right, Zircon?"
The eyeball on her staff spread its black wings as its pupil darted around back and forth, appearing to agree with her.
Then, the old hag glanced around at the creatures, searching. "Are you listening, my girls?" she called out. "You better not be ignoring me."
At her call, four girls emerged, still practicing their acts.
One was elegantly flipping across a tight rope, having tan skin, dark green eyes, and long, light green hair into three long ponytails: two going at her sides and one upward. She wore a two-piece loincloth bikini with pale mint green baggy Arabian-style pants, green sandals, and a dark purple centerpiece on the belt.
The second was cracking her whip while commanding three tigers, having fair skin, red eyes, and crimson hair styled into a long and high ponytail with a black band. Her outfit was a red trim, black string two-piece bikini tied to a black collar at her neck, two white blades with two spikes each. Her bottoms also had a light pink skirt and leggings matching her hair and red wedge sandals. Her accessories included red and black bracelets, a gold crown with red jewels, and giant gold and red earrings.
The third was another fair-skinned girl swinging on a trapeze. She also had red eyes but had long pink hair in two long braids that jutted outwards with a bun on top and three big light-yellow bows, two on the sides and one in the back. She wore a purple bra with a pink outline, a matching bikini bottom, a light yellow skirt, leggings, and pink ballet slipper shoes. In addition, dark cherry blossoms also decorated her outfit.
The last girl was riding around on a unicycle. She had creamy skin with bright blue eyes and hair styled in a bun and wore a headdress on top of her head with four pipes with balls on the ends. Her outfit comprised blue spheres decorating it and a bare-backed, shoulder-less leotard with matching slippers.
"Yeah, yeah. We hear you, Granny Zirconia," said the girl in green.
"Just leave it all to us, the Amazoness Quartet," the girl in red spoke. "We're ready."
"And we won't let anyone get in our way!" the girl in pink called out. "You can count on that."
"We won't let a single unsightly bug enter our circus!" the girl in blue concurred. "And to ensure that, we'll seal the entrance." She then waved her hand above her other one, making a blue sphere appear, and held it high. "Now, CROWN BALL!"
The orb in her hand shone brightly in a purple glow, and outside of the tent, an ominous black barrier surrounded a large portion of the area, sealing it up.
Zirconia was pleased. "Well done. Now, I have a job that needs handling," the old hag said. "Do I have any volunteers?"
"Sorry, Granny, we've got to get ready for our acts," said the girl in red. "But I know three who are more than willing to lend a hand." She then cracked her whip. "Oh, Amazon Trio~!"
Immediately, a tiger, a hawk, and a fish in a tank appeared. Then, the three animals transformed into male elf-like beings in three separate swirls of water, fire, and feathers.
The tiger had shoulder-length orange-colored hair with green eyes and two red and blue makeup streaks under the left. The male wore a white tank top with black shoulder pads, long white gloves that reached his shoulders, a black swimsuit-like bottom, tiger-striped leggings, and tall black boots. He also had a large red headband, rectangular earrings, a yellow and white beaded necklace, a bracelet, and multiple rings on his fingers. "Tiger's Eye, present," he spoke.
The fish appeared feminine in facial features and male in the body. He had blue eyes, long, wavy blue going into turquoise hair styled in a ponytail with a long bang framing his face, and two streaking his left eye, one purple, and the other indigo. His hands were webbed and scaly, having long pink fingernails. He wore a puffy, light blue jumpsuit, with a v-cut going past his chest, ribbed in small puffs with a pink fish skeleton imprinted underneath the v-cut, and light-blue high-heeled boots with pink toes and heels. He also had earrings in the form of orange spheres with green tubes. "Fish's Eye, present," he acknowledged.
The hawk had unkempt, short pink hair that pointed upwards, red eyes, and had a red and orange streak under his left eye. His outfit was a purple bra-like toga top with a skirt, tights, shoes, brown gloves, and a low brown choker. He also had two small silver hoop earrings on each ear. "Hawk's Eye, present," he said.
"How may we serve you, Madam Zirconia?" the three males asked.
"You can by making sure you're listening," gruffed Zirconia. "I am now quite certain that the one we've seeking is somewhere in this world. Capturing him will be our first step toward world domination, so naturally, we must find him. That is your task. And you will begin by searching for those humans possessing wonderful dreams."
The Amazon Trio all felt puzzled.
"Um, beautiful dream, madam?" repeated Fish's Eye.
"That's right. Unlike you, the one we seek cannot maintain physical form for very long in this world," explained Zirconia. "His existence is unsustainable in the confines of the real world and would quickly lose energy and die. However, there is only one way, and only one, that would allow him to remain in this world, and it's this. He could survive indefinitely by hiding in someone's beautiful dream."
"Now I understand," said Tiger's Eye. "So what you're saying is that we'll find him in a beautiful dream of one of the humans living on this world."
"Obvously, that's what I'm saying because that's what I just said!" snapped Zirconia.
"Hey, chill out, old lady," said the girl in green. "You have a nasty habit of rambling half of the time, and we can't even tell what you're saying."
Zirconia then cleared her throat, composing herself as she resumed. "Anyway, there are many humans, almost as many as stars, but only a handful of them can dream wonderful dreams, so we can find the one we seek. Now, go out and find him!"
The Amazon Trio bowed. "As you wish, madam," they said.
"Good luck, Amazon Trio!" called out the girl in blue. "Make sure you succeed!"
"As part of the Dead Moon Circus troupe," said the girl in pink. "It's your chance to show those humans what you got."
"And if you do a good job and find him," said the girl in red. "We'll make sure that you boys get a special reward."
"Don't worry, Amazon Quartet," Tiger's Eye spoke while winking at them. "Just leave it all to us. We got this."
In a bar stationed in the tent, the three boys sorted through some photographs to help choose their first target.
"What about this one?" asked Hawk's Eye holding up one of a young brunette.
"Nah, not my type," replied Tiger's Eye. "Man, it's not easy, even limiting our search to the handful of those who have beautiful dreams, there's still so many... Look at all these cuties. It's hard to choose."
"Yeah, well, this isn't about your taste," said Hawk's Eye. "The job comes first."
"Personally, none of them seem that special to me," Fish Eye spoke aloof. "I mean, seriously, Tiger's Eye, you find these girls that appealing?"
"Well, we're not as uber particular as you are, Fish's Eye," responded Tiger Eye.
Then, his eyes fell upon a photo of another girl, which turned out to be one of Unazuki, who was busy working at the cafe, which immediately made his face light up.
"Ooh! Look at this cutie!" Tiger's Eye spoke with interest. "I'll go with her."
"Glad you're keeping your tastes out of it," Hawk's Eye said while rolling his eyes. "I don't know. She's got that wholesome look. A type like that is hard to get."
"Oh, yes. I know," smiled Tiger's Eye with an evil glint in his pupil. "But even they can be gotten if you make it seem like fate threw you together."
At the Fruits Parlor Crown, Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa were going out for drinks, and Unazuki were just serving their orders when Usagi spoke to her.
"So, what's the dirt, Unazuki?" she asked.
"What do you mean, Usagi?" wondered Unazuki.
"Come on. You know what," Usagi spoke while mischievously grinning. "What's the story with you and this boyfriend that your brother was talking about?"
Unazuki's cheeks went red. "Hey, not in front of the kid," she scolded.
"Oh~. So it's a point where you can't talk about it in front of a kid, eh~?" Usagi leered teasingly. "How scandulous~."
"Come on, Usagi. Knock it off," said Harusuke. "If she doesn't want to talk about it, leave her alone."
Chibiusa noticed a pendant around Unazuki's neck with a picture of an unknown boy. She then grabbed it to inspect. "So, is this is your boyfriend's picture on this pendant?" she asked.
"Hey! Let go of that!" Unazuki squeaked as she tried to pry it away from Chibiusa.
But, of course, Chibiusa didn't.
Then, Usagi joined in. "Chibiusa! Let go of that, right now!"
The three girls struggled, desperately trying to keep the pendant out of each other's hands.
At that moment, Harusuke slammed his hand on the table while yelling. "Hey! Break it up, you three!"
Immediately, the three froze in place, settling down.
"Honestly, why can't we go anywhere as a group without you two causing a scene?" Harusuke sighed. "Seriously."
Then, Unazuki sat down next to Chibiusa. "Well, since you've already seen my pendant and probably won't leave me alone about it, I might as well tell you," she said, now wearing a sad smile.
Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa kept silent as Unazuki then explained.
"Technically, he isn't my boyfriend. It got pretty close a couple of times, but he still hasn't asked me out. At least not officially. So, maybe, we're just not meant to be."
At first, no one said a word. But then Chibiusa spoke.
"You know, a girl doesn't have to sit around waiting for a boy to make a move," she said sagely. "Sometimes, you have to hop on your white horse and go out and find Prince Charming yourself. After that, whether you have a fateful encounter or not is up to you."
Harusuke, Unzauzki, and Usagi were surprised.
"Wow, Chibiusa. That was pretty intense," said Unazuki.
"Yeah. Never pegged you as the type to give out romantic advice like that," said Harusuke.
"Have you been peeking at Mom's women's magazines again?" Usagi asked skeptically.
Later that night, Unazuki was on the bus after getting off work. As she waited for her stop, she didn't realize that someone in a white suit with a purple undershirt, a gold necklace, and large emerald earrings with dangling pearls was watching her.
That, someone was Tiger's Eye, who had now taken human form and was enacting his plan to get Unazuki by using his powers to steal her wallet from her purse.
Soon, the bus stopped, and Unazuki was digging through her purse for her wallet to pay the driver, but she was surprised to see that it wasn't there.
"Hey, where's my wallet?!" she wondered in worry. "I know I had it in here!"
Tiger's Eye then came up. "Might this be what you're looking for?" he asked.
Unazuki was surprised but relieved. As soon as she paid the driver and got off the bus with Tiger's Eye, she thanked him graciously.
"Thank you so, so much. I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't found my wallet."
"Not at all," Tiger's Eye spoke with a smile. "But, I almost have the feeling that I was supposed to meet each other. Maybe it's fate. It seems a shame to say goodbye and let it go."
Unazuki could only stare at the man in puzzlement, wondering what he was getting at.
Harusuke, Usagi, and Chibiusa were heading home after spending the day in Juuban. Usagi and Chibiusa were munching on some buns while Harusuke held on to the bag.
"Remember you two," Harusuke spoke sternlly. "You can't overeat. Otherwise, you'll spoil your appetites."
"Oh, come on, Harusuke. It's no problem," Usagi spoke between bites. "You should know that all girls have second stomachs for meals, so it's totally fine."
"We appreciate you treating us, Uncle Sunny," said Chibiusa. "We'll make sure to treat you back sometime."
Then, suddenly, the three heard a scream that shattered the silence of the night, recognizing the voice.
"That sounded like Unazuki!" gasped Usagi.
"And it sounded like she was close by!" said Harusuke. "Come on!"
The three then raced down the street as fast their legs could carry them.
At a playground not too far, Tiger's Eye had shed his disguise and had Unazuko cornered
"Forgive me for startling you, my sweet," purred Tiger's Eye. "But let me assure you, I'm not a weirdo."
"What the heck are you talking about?!" Unazuki cried indignantly. "You're a total weirdo!"
"Now, now, relax," said Tiger's Eye. "I promise to make this as quick and painless as possible. Now, one."
Immediately, a red slab sprang up from the ground pressing against Unazuki's back.
"Two."
Metal clamps clasped around Unazuki's ankles and wrists, trapping her.
"Three."
Unazuki let out a scream of agony as something came out of her chest. It was a mirror with a pink frame and a blue ribbon.
"That is a Dream Mirror, my dear," Tiger's Eye chuckled triumphantly. "It will allow me to look into your dreams and see if he's inside of them."
At that moment, Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa arrived and saw what was going on.
"Who's that blonde weirdo?!" exclaimed Chibiusa. "And what has he done to Unazuki?!"
"I don't know, but we have to help her!" cried Harusuke.
"Harusuke! Chibiusa! Let's transform!" said Usagi.
Usagi and Chibiusa then took out their compacts while Harusuke exposed his bracelet.
"MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE UP!"
"MOON PRISM POWER MAKE UP!"
"SOLAR CRYSTAL POWER SHINE ON!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi
Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart spinning to the right. She stands one leg holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. Next, she raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloaked it into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina and takes a slight bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the moon, her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Finally, Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Chibiusa
The Prism Heart Compact opens, revealing Chibiusa's Silver Crystal inside it. It begins to glow pink until a heart made of light pops up from it, flipping and overtaking the screen, revealing Chibiusa bathed in light with the Prism Heart Compact in the center of her chest. The compact bursts with pink ribbons that tighten and wrap around Chibiusa's body, making her leotard. Chibiusa then spins around as a red bow appears where her compact is on her chest. Pink ribbons then wrap around her legs, forming her pink boots and around her waist, forming her skirt and red bow at the back. Her gloves materialize next, and white-bordered red circular accents on her odango appear, along with pointed white fittings resembling a rabbit's ears, a golden tiara with a red gem, a pink choker around her neck, and pink studded earrings. Her transformation finished, Chibiusa winks and then strikes her signature pose with a crescent moon in a pink background shining brightly.
Transformation Sequence: Harusuke (Post Crystal)
Harusuke's hand waves over the Sunstone Crystal, and it begins to pulse with light until it shines brightly. Harusuke, now shrouded in light, holds his hand with the Sunstone Crystal up high and throws his fist to the floor, and his symbol appears beneath him. Light encases his legs up to his hips, and in a burst of light, his boots, belt, and additional armor on his thighs materialize. Then his right encompasses his right arm from hand to shoulder, and his gloves, along with some armor, appear, and the same happens to his left hand. Harusuke then punches his fists together, creating a spark of light, and crosses his arms as his chest gets wrapped in light. Harusuke then throws his arms out, and his chest plate appears, the symbol in the middle glowing brightly. Finally, his helmet appears on his head, covering up his entire head, leaving his face exposed. Harusuke opens his eyes smiling with confidence, his transformation now complete, and assumes his signature pose, with the sun appearing in the background while his symbol overlaps it.
Tiger's Eye was about to start searching inside Unazuki's Dream Mirror when a voice shouted out.
"Hold it right there!"
Tiger's Eye looked back in surprise, only to see Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, and Solaris standing by the gates.
"We're the Solar Guardians..." began Sailor Moon.
"...who fight for love..." continued Solaris.
"...and for justice!" finished Sailor Chibi Moon.
"I'm Sailor Moon!"
"And I'm Sailor Chibi Moon!"
"And I'm Solaris!"
"And now, in the name of the Moon, we'll punish you!"
"And in the name of the Sun, with my blinding rays, I'll scorch you!"
"Huh. Didn't know that there were country bumpkins in the city," Tiger's Eye huffed as he cracked his whip. "Now, come forth, my Lemures, Karakuriko, the automaton!"
His shadow suddenly extended and grew as a strange symbol appeared. Then, a peculiar being emerged from it. It was a female doll with blue hair wearing a blue leotard with pink stockings with red high heels, her top separated from her main body.
"Oh, great, another weird monster doll," huffed Solaris. "And you thought that guy was a weirdo."
"How rude!" Tiger's Eye huffed. "Karikuriko! Get rid of them!"
The doll in question exploded into pieces scattering around at an astonishing speed. Sailor Moon and her group looked around, wondering where the parts would go, but then, one of Karakuriko's legs swept under Sailor Moon's, knocking her backward, and her hands grabbed her by the wrists, lifting her high into the air, while the head and torso hovered in front of her.
"Sailor Moon!" Solaris and Sailor Chibi Moon cried.
"This is getting weirder by the second!" Sailor Moon yelled.
Then, a long sword came out from the doll's mouth and shot toward the guardian, forcing her to tilt her body to the side to dodge. The metal puppet then retracted her blade and reshot it repeatedly, and Sailor Moon kept leaning her body to avoid it.
Tiger's Eye then laughed. "Let's see how long you can keep this up," he mocked.
"Hey! Let her go!" yelled Solaris as he shot upwards to help her.
But then came more trouble. As Sailor Chibi Moon was about to join the fray, Kakikuriko's legs and waist pounced on her, pinning her to the ground. The little guardian struggled to get free, but the legs held her tight.
"Sailor Chibi Moon!" Solaris cried out.
Solaris then glared as he summoned forth his sword and shot toward Sailor Moon, intending to help get her free. However, Kakikuriko's torso separated from her body and intercepted him, making his blade hit it instead. Solaris pushed his blade, hoping to cut through it, but his sword couldn't scratch it.
"D-Damn it! What the heck is this thing made of?!" Solaris complained. "Well then, I guess it's time to turn up the heat!" He held up his fist as his crystal turned red. "SOLARIS MARS POWER! RANK UP!"
In a brilliant flash of red light, Solaris changed into his Mars form while unleashing an attack.
"SOLARIS MARS BLAZING PHOENIX!"
Flames cloaked his body into a fiery bird, scoring a direct hit on the torso resulting in a massive explosion. But when the smoke cleared, Solaris was surprised to see that the torso was completely unscathed. Not even a single spec of soot was on it.
"What the?! That should have done some damage!" Solaris exclaimed.
Tiger's Eye laughed. "As if an attack like yours would damage Kakakuriko. She's dealt with harsher fires than that. She's practically fireproof."
"Then, in that case, how about some water instead?!" Solaris snapped as he changed into his Mercury Form in a bright blue flash. "SOLARIS MERCURY DELPHINUS TORPEDO!"
Solaris then charged once again, water shrouding his body while taking the shape of a dolphin as it crashed into its target. But once again, the torso remained unfazed.
"Oh, and she's also water-resistant," Tiger's Eye added. "So, that attack won't work on her either."
Then, at Kakakuriko's command, her torso shot at Solaris at an incredible speed. Solaris instinctively raised his sword to defend, but the torso quickly maneuvered lowered, and barreled straight into Solaris's midsection knocking the wind out of him. As Solaris recoiled, the torso moved around again and smacked him in the arm, making him drop his sword. Solaris tried to counter with a punch as it came to attack him again, but the torso, using its speed, dodged it and nailed him smack on the face, the force making Solaris flip a few times. Then, like a pinball in a machine, Kakakuriko's torso zipped and dashed while bashing Solaris repeatedly until it shot up above and charged downward, knocking and sending him straight to the ground in a mighty crash.
Solaris now lay dazed and bruised as he reverted to his normal state.
At this point, Sailor Moon was getting tired from dodging the Lemures' sword, and Sailor Chibi Moon could feel the weight of the doll's legs grow heavier.
But then, a rose shot straight into Karikuriko's head, stunning her. Tiger's Eye then looked up and saw Tuxedo Mask standing on a lampost.
"I cannot forgive someone who would spoil a lovely night like this with boorish antics," the masked man spoke.
"It's Tuxedo Mask!" Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon cried happily.
"Yet again, perfect timing," Solaris grunted.
Tiger's Eye, on the other hand, was more appalled. "Good God. What is with that tacky playboy outfit?" he asked incredulously. "Or rather, where did you get it?"
"Silence! I don't need to hear that from you!" said Tuxedo Mask. "I'm your worst nightmare! I am the rose of justice that slashes evil like you!"
"You're a fashion nightmare, that's for sure," Tiger's Eye scoffed. "But if you want to take me on, by all means, do so."
Tuxedo Mask took out his cane, and Tiger's Eye brandished his whip, and the two clashed. Tiger's Eye cracked his whip while Tuxedo Mask slashed and swung, the two dashing back and forth in their scuffle. Then, Tuxedo Mask saw an opening, and before Tiger's Eye could react, knocked the whip out of his hand, making it wrap around a tree, and pointed his cane at the man's throat.
"It looks like I win," Tuxedo Mask smirked.
Tiger's Eye was surprised, but that surprise quickly dissipated as he flashed a sly smile while chuckling. "You sure about that?" he asked coolly. "Looks can be deceiving, you know."
Tuxedo Mask was puzzled, but his body became stiff and frozen like a statue. He tried to move, but he couldn't.
"My whip has tied your shadow to the tree," said Tiger's Eye as he calmly stepped away. "I think you'll find that you won't be able to move."
"Tuxedo Mask!" Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon cried.
"D-Damn it! He's trapped!" cursed Solaris.
"Now, if you don't mind, I have some important business to attend to," said Tiger's Eye as he started walking towards Unazuki. "See you around. And by the way, capes are so over."
"No! Leave her alone!" yelled Sailor Moon as she struggled to get free. "Stay away from her!"
Solaris struggled to get back up, but KaraKuriko's torso slammed straight into his back, pinning him down. Sailor Chibi Moon also tried to push the doll's legs off, but she couldn't get free either.
With no one to stand in his way, Tiger's Eye went up to Unazuki. "Now then, let me see if the one I'm looking for is inside your dreams," he spoke. "This won't take long."
He took hold of Unazuki's mirror and stuck his head into it, and Unazuki began to scream and writhe in agony as he did. After a few seconds, Tiger's Eye stuck his head out, and Unazuki fell unconscious. He was disappointed.
"Well, that's a bummer. While it is a beautiful dream, nothing was there," Tiger's Eye sighed. "Still, to make sure that he can't seek refuge there, I'll have to eliminate you and the rest of these people. Karakuriko! Go ahead and get rid of them!"
At his command, Karakuriko cackled as her head went back up in front of Sailor Moon and prepared to shoot out her sword. While that happened, another hand with long sharp black nails popped out from the opening of her waist and reached to claw Sailor Chibi Moon, forcing her to hold it back. As for the torso, numerous spikes popped out from all over it as it shot upwards for momentum and then started coming down like a comet heading straight for Solaris' head.
Tuxedo Mask struggled as he tried to move. "Sailor Moon! Solaris! Chibi Moon!" he yelled.
Sailor Chibi Moon desperately tried to force the hand back but continued losing ground as the nails grew closer.
"This is bad! We're all going die at this rate!" she cried mentally. "Someone! Anyone! Please, help us!"
Suddenly, a brilliant flash came from above, followed by a shockwave, forcing all Kakakuriko's parts away from the Guardians, setting them all free and out of danger. Everyone immediately looked up towards the light in surprise, wondering what was happening.
Then, the same Pegasus from before emerged from that light, letting out a majestic neigh.
Tiger's Eye's eyes went wide with shock. "It's him!" he gasped. "It's Pegasus!"
Sailor Moon, Chibi Moon, Solaris, and Tuxedo Mask were surprised, too.
The Pegasus then looked in the direction of Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon and released a beam of light at them from its horn. Immediately, the two transformed, becoming Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon.
"No way! They became Super Sailor Moons!" cried Tuxedo Mask.
"But how is that possible?!" exclaimed Solaris. "I thought they both had to have their Holy Grails!"
Super Sailor Moon didn't understand it either. "What is this?" she thought. "I feel a mysterious power overflowing throughout my body."
"Kakikuriko! Hurry up and get rid of them! Quickly!" ordered Tiger's Eye.
The Lemures quickly pulled herself together and charged at the two. But, while that was happening, two mysterious objects appeared in both of the super guardians' hands.
They were a pair of pink rods with a dark pink handle in the shape of a heart with a gem with wings and a crown on top.
Both super soldiers each took one and knew what to do. They both aimed at Kakakuriko and fired pink energy spheres that trailed shards of glass behind them. Both attacks struck their mark, Karikuriko shrieking in agony, and in a few seconds, shattered like a broken mirror, finally destroyed.
Tiger's Eye nervously backed away as a fiery vortex appeared behind him. And, not wanting to stick around, jumped into the vortex disappearing in retreat. His whip disappeared as soon as he was gone, setting Tuxedo Mask free from his trap. Unazuki's dream mirror also receded into her body, and the slab also disappeared. Unazuki while still unconscious fell to the ground in a heap. The four heroes quickly rushed over to the girl while Tuxedo Mask checked her over.
"She's all right," said Tuxedo Mask. "She just fainted."
"Well, that's good news," said Sailor Moon.
Everyone then looked at Pegasus as it stared intently at them, the light of the moon illuminating its hair. Then, after that, it disappeared in a bright blip. At the same time, Super Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon turned back to their usual forms.
"So, does anyone wanna tell me where the heck that came from?" asked Solaris.
"We don't know," said Sailor Moon. "We're kind of clueless about it ourselves."
The only one who didn't say anything was Sailor Chibi Moon, who was staring off into the sky, amazed and speechless. She didn't know what the creature was, but she had a sneaking suspicion that she would see it again.
