It was early the next morning in the Rocket Central as the Avengers were called in as they had gotten an urgent message on the computer; they all gathered together as the message then played for them showing Coulson at a black room looking serious.

"I am former US Army Sergeant Phil Coulson and during my time there I was nicknamed 'Sarge' by my unit but I haven't gone by that in a long time. If you are watching this Avengers; then I am dead. I have misgivings about what my old friend and superior Nick Fury has planned with Nighthawk. I suspect that they both will want to deal with me when it's become clear that I am not fully on board with their plans. I hope to talk to them and try and get them to stand down.. To end it but I am 90% certain that it won't end well and this is why I am filming this message to be sent if I ended up being killed. Nighthawk as his true identity or rather civilian identity since I suspect he sees Nighthawk as his true self... Anyway he has plans on becoming President of the United States and plans to put in a program sending Sentinels out in the world... Hunt down and kill all superhumans... Made with Ultron technology... That was a big red flag for my mind... Powered by the Mind Stone... I have sent coordinates to their base and... I just want to say that I kept this myself but I believed that there could still be a place for heroes... A reason why I went with Fury wanting to use Spider-Man as a mole for the Squadron was because I believed that he could help usher in a new age... Good luck... One more thing... Fury and Castle have taken Nighthawk's alchemy potion..." Coulson said as they looked at this solemnly.

"Wow... Coulson was no Fury and Castle and... To think that he was hiding this side of him..." Peter muttered as Scott then looked at him.

"I liked him the most in the crew besides you webhead..." Scott muttered out as Steve looked serious along with the others.

"He shall be avenged..." Steve ended up saying with everyone else nodding.

"But what alchemy potion was he talking about?" Rhodes ended up asking as Zarda then smirked.

"Nighthawk always liked to keep up the illusion that all of his physical skills were the result of training his mind and body to beyond their physical limit but one of his greatest secrets was that he had taken a magical potion that he learned about in his travelling around the world to study and train. During the night; it grants him enhanced strength and agility. Helps him keep up with the superhumans that he fought against." Zarda explained as they took this in.

"I think you should take a look at this..." T'Challa said noticing on a TV monitor there was a news alert of an emergency press conference where there was Richmond in a suit at a podium.

"I want to speak for a population of our country and the world that relying on the costumed gods to protect our word wasn't for the best... We have all seen what they had hidden from us... What they had been up to... We need to put humanity's fate back in the hands of humans... I thought that limiting what the heroes such as the Squadron Supreme could do on US soil would be enough but it wasn't close... I have been having talks with the masked vigilante known as Nighthawk about bringing forth a program that may be controversial but we believe will be best for humanity in the long run. I will say more at a later date..." Richmond then said as the Avengers glared at him.

"Not ready to admit that you plan to exterminate the superhumans of the world..." muttered Scott shaking his head and T'Challa had already got the Vibranium nanites that formed his suit to transform around him.

"Avengers Assemble!" Steve called out as they used the Rocket Central's systems to teleport them to the base's coordinates.

They arrived at the base and saw the large assembled dark purple and silver Sentinel robots; however a security alarm went off and the Sentinels went online and moving about and started firing hand lasers at them and they all had to scramble away to avoid the blasts.

Scott deciding to make it better; used his suit to enlarge himself to giant size and distracted the Sentinels as they focused on him and he was knocked back while also damaging the base and equipment while the Avengers braced themselves and got down.

Scott returned to normal size and Hope went to help him up as Rhodes flying about helping to blast at the Sentinels. "Going to take more than that... The Sentinels are drawing power from the Power Stone itself... Just like Frank and I ..." grinned Fury as he made himself known with Castle in their powered armours with their heavy firepower.

They went and began firing at them with them scrambling to dodge their way; "You are still going out of your way to continuing your crusade... Shouldn't the fall of Tony Stark be enough?" Steve ended up asking as he threw his shield at them which damaged the suits slightly and bounced off them. Steve caught it but the blasts from Fury and Castle created more debris to falling and a direct shot sent Zarda but and Peter called out for her.

"It will never be enough until you and the rest of the so called 'heroes' and villains are taken care of... Not much difference between them... You know Rogers; my old man was fighting in the trenches of the first World War before you were old enough to try and enlist... He was fighting Nazis while you were continuously being rejected for poor health and he took you in... He was a hero and yet people remember you more than him... All those sacrifices that my unit and me made and we were ordered to be hunted down for trying to do the right thing... You all with your masks disgraces real heroes..." Fury snapped as a blast from Fury was shielded by Steve's shield but he was sent back a little.

"I knew your father; he was a real hero and a good man... Ever thought of what he would be thinking if he saw the kind of man that his son grew up to be? One who turned on his own ally Phil Coulson for believing in a better tomorrow... I fought in the War surrounded by not just masked heroes but normal heroes in uniform who signed up to protect their country... The Howling Commandos... You think that you honour them?" Steve asked as Fury glared.

"I am honouring them... I had to let my brother Jake think that I was KIA and whatever story that Stark told him and his family..." Fury snapped as Castle was focusing on aiming at Peter.

"I finally get to end you Spider-Freak... We are killing your kind and ushering in a new era!" Castle snapped as Peter managed to web at his face.

"Fury... How does it feel that you underestimated me? Never suspected that I actually kept the drive from the Camp base and tricked you into thinking that it was gone... I used it to help expose Stark's dirty dealings while you were busy hunting reality stars to make yourself look tough..." Peter then mocked Fury who ended up becoming more furious. "Plus you and Castle... You know with your big speeches and Castle talking about ushering in a new era... For 2 people who hate superheroes so much... You sound like supervillains right now... DESTROY ALL SUPERHEROES! DESTROY ALL SUPER POWERS! UNLIMITED RICE PUDDING!" Peter then mocked as this got them more furious.

However T'Challa moving about managed to find the machine that had the Power Stone and was sending it's energy to the technology and he managed to stab through it with his daggers and take the Power Stone out. The Sentinels began malfunctioning and losing power as well as Castle and Fury's suits. Zarda went in and knocked them down with punches.

T'Challa then went to the computers on the top level base of the base and made his way in; "Self destructing the Sentinels and destroying all data... Nighthawk saw himself as the world's smartest man but I was hacking into more secure data when I was in grade school..." T'Challa then told them as Peter felt his Spider-Sense go off and launched as made himself known as Richmond using rocket boots in a bulky armored suit managed to take Zarda down.

"Zarda... Years before... I... I had decided that I had loved you... I thought we could change the world together but no... I have enough stored ionic energy and Power Stone energy to use this and with the Necrosword... You show enough skin for me to do this..." Richmond muttered as he punched at Zarda's face and got the Necrosword ready as he sent out blasts at the other Avengers that forced them to go back to dodge.

"I thought that I had the same feelings for you Kyle but I guess that I was going for an attracted to brooding bad boys phase..." Zarda muttered shaking her head as he had the Necrosword directed at her.

Then through a storm there was Thor going down and hit Richmond's suit with Mjolnir damaging it. "I saw that you needed help again and at this rate; I won't have time to rule New Asgard... Zarda catch..." Thor said with a joking grin as he threw Mjolnir at Zarda which she caught and managed to use a strong blast of thunder as it stroke the Necrosword shattering it.

Richmond discarded it and no one noticed that from the pieces came a bit of black ooze. Richmond used what power in his rocket boots to fly out of a hole in the base as Peter then web slinged after him.
