II. Side Stories
After this movie would have come out, no events after would be made. All side stories and expanded material are looks back at the past, or the events between scenes in EPVIII Escape from Ren.
.
Herod Zaltan and Silva Galencia
Herod Zaltan's military father is murdered by Lord Vader while he attends a preppy military academy. He graduates at 16 during the conclusion of EPVI, with the death of the Emperor causing chaos in the core worlds. Zaltan uses his connections to gain opportunities with stray Imperial forces. He gains renown fighting the Republic, and due to his success, gets to join the conglomerate of rapidly intermarried Monopolies calling themselves the "Imperial Family."
At around 45 years old, he is a High Admiral with his own fleet. In commandeering a former Imperial mining planet for House Fashna he discovers a powerful secret. It was here that Emperor Sidious created Force-clones to challenge Lord Vader. He gains the full legal rights to the planet after about three years, then announces the Force-slaves project.
House Centiron is excited to begin work with him, but he controversially hires 23 year old medical genius Silva Galencia to be the project leader.
House Galencia had recently become the wealthiest House, with its own barely legal army. They were still loved until the head of the House married outside the family. They are the only House to have not recently had any marriages with another House, even among their lower branches.
Silva and Zaltan both acknowledge it would be best if he married her. They spend a lot of time with together making the evil Knights of Ren a success. Both intelligent, attractive, and quite Machiavellian. They truly fall in love, despite the age difference. The relationship is suspected by other Houses, and is extremely dishonorable. Not just for associating with an unpopular House, nor having a relationship with a young girl, but having these relations outside of marriage. Both don't care, and soon the Knights project is a massive success. Zaltan and Silva become extremely popular. When he marries Silva, he will become a Main Branch member, and everyone will vote him Emperor. They only need to wait for the current 8th Emperor's expected retirement. It's all perfect.
Until the head of House Fashna tells Zaltan they will not vote for him.
It must be unanimous. It was supposed to be the easiest vote, and now its gone. However, they offer a different choice: marry up his own House to their single Main Branch daughter. The girl is a lethargic death-stick addict, but still politically valuable. Zaltan makes his decision. Shortly after becomes Emperor.
House Galencia knows this was done to slight them, but still voted for him. Silva understands, and doesn't care too much. She still loves Zaltan, and knows he loves her.
Zaltan has a child. Spends more time with his wife, to Silva's shock and worry. Zaltan then stops sleeping with Silva. Silva is extremely offended that he thinks she will stop taking contraception to get pregnant with his child. He is completely right to fear this, but she is still offended by it. Silva finally loses it when it is announced Zaltan now has another child. She screams:
"Twice isn't politics!"
Silva plots to use her Knights of Ren to kill his wife. Possibly even her Zaltan, but she is willing to take the risk. Almost works, would have if not for another House using their Knights to stop her. Silva is arrested, and set to have a fast execution trial. Zaltan breaks her out heroically and illegally puts her into exile. He knows she won't betray them. She goes off, teary eyed.
An outraged Judge Attorn has Zaltan impeached. He needs a unanimous vote once again to stay Emperor, and now every house's earlier suspicions about Herod and Silva's dishonorable relationship are completely confirmed. However, him breaking the law to save the woman he actually loves is seen as super cool and honorable, but more importantly to them, as Attorn's closing argument accurately surmises:
"You won't be voted out, not because of honor or dishonor. I didn't impeach you for legal violation. You have shown your weakness to the world, and let that weakness free to first House that takes her. You won't be voted out, everyone sees the equal chance to control you."
Zaltan survives the vote and stays Emperor. A worried Zaltan looks off into the stars and wonders about her. Meanwhile, a forlorn Silva is approached by hooded figures.
(small note: Silva was only imprisoned in jail. She never had a trial, and was thus never found guilty. This is why Rey says she "allegedly" committed a coup d'etat in scene 151.)
.
Aquila Galencia's Vow of Peace:
Silva Galencia attempts an assassination against Emperor Zaltan and is exiled. We begin as the family discusses this, they aim to send young Jon Jax to Luke Skywalker to regain some trust between the Houses. Aquila particularly troubled by all this.
Two years later, Silva announces the pregnancy, and is killed. Jon Jax's parents and Aquila's father, begin making murderous plots, Aquila sitting in to learn from them. They successfully kill one Zaltan's personal family members. They continue to plot on how to kill Zaltan himself. They try to get Jon to return early to use him. Eventually, all are led into a trap and killed. Aquila breaks apart with all this, and then her much more brash mother publicly swears vengeance against the Emperor, against the head servant's wishes.
The mother is killed by her own handmaiden, whom then kills herself. Aquila is now the head. She plots revenge until the head servant confesses he ordered the handmaiden, Zaltan is innocent of this murder. He explains they have lost. The only way to survive is surrender now, and anything else will destroy the House. She throws him out in murderous rage, drafting his execution trial, but after seeing her younger sisters, she accepts the situation. Aquila swears fealty to the Emperor and apologizes for all her family's actions. She will ensure House Galencia works with the other Houses from now on.
Kylo comes back and learns he is too late. Aquila sees that need for revenge that killed the rest of her family. She emotionally bends him into submitting as to not lose yet another family member.
How fate binds.
.
Kylo's Big Grab
Kylo has already been declared the sole "captain" of the Knights of Ren, meaning he has become a ranking officer able to give commands to stormtroopers. He works directly under Zaltan to assist the other Houses. Nearly two years into the arrangement, Kylo sees a chance. He is finally asked to help an ambitious House Palpatine prince. If the prince dies, so does he.
Since the Empire began expanding with the Krannek, House Palpatine has immediately sought to take the difficult planet, Pinerrow. A rough, dark land of slaves and vampiric rulers. Known for their medical nanotechnology. The young Razior Palpatine is waging a daring plan to take the capital city. Kylo has been assigned to join him in the fight.
Razior has taken Emperor Sidious' old notes on the planet to sneak into the city, then in disguise, taint the Holy Blood Fountain. It is a good plan. As they fly in a stealth craft, Kylo secretly sabotages it, and they are shot down well away from the hidden entrance to the city. Kylo makes an elaborate show against the enemy while saving Prince Razior and taking them both in hiding. The enemy know they are looking for a Force user. After a day of slogging through the marshes, Kylo, Razior, the Knight of Ren, and a handful of stealth troopers arrive at the secret destination.
Entering the city reveals an unexpected sight: the whole place is covered in floating yellow lights. When touched, they take a small cell sample and turn blue, then float away... until one samples the Knight. It turns red, so do all the others around them. A siren wails as guards rush to them. Kylo realizes these mechanical mosquitos-fireflies are proof his gamble paid off. A huge fight breaks out, with Kylo ensuring he and Prince are the only survivors. As the two flee, the bugs light their path. Kylo explains to the Prince the robots are taking rapid tests for midichlorians. The Prince begrudgingly tells Kylo to run to a specific church. Kylo uses the Force to brielfly push away all nat-testors and the race into the church.
It works, they lose their pursuers. The bugs no longer light up around Kylo. Our antihero resists the urge to probe on how. He makes plans with the Prince. If escape is impossible, they can go down with the Holy Blood Fountain. It is still impossible for Kylo to get near it, and likely to fail with only the Prince. Kylo must not push the issue. He offers to protect the Prince from afar, staying on the tops of the towers as the Princes walks alone. Kylo promises he can use the Force to protect him while staying outside away from the detectors this way.
Razior summons his courage and heads to the streets. Kylo jumps up the nearest tower... then silently jumps back down to investigate the church. The Prince is unknowingly completely alone. Kylo uses his Force powers to see beyond Razior, feeding him information via communicator to avoid upcoming guards. Kylo tears up the church to find the secret. Nothing. While guiding the Prince he only asks a small question if another church is nearby to hide them. The Prince does say there could be. Kylo explains if the Prince is injured, he must take him somewhere safe. He needs to know the right church.
Razior says to look for one with silver flowers outside. Kylo checks the strange fauna. They look metal... in fact one is. Kylo sees its biotech that produces nanomachines. No need for clarifcation. This was how Emperor Sidious hid his midichlorian count. Kylo instantly knocks the Prince out with Force, right before touching the Holy Blood Fountain. Kylo finds a clean injector and recklessly stabs himself with the nanomachines. He races off to collect the Prince, fights his way through to the crowd, taints the Fountain, and gets out of there. Unable to be found by the enemy.
The Prince wakes up to their success. Kylo explains Razior was attacked by a guard, and how he risked everything to save his superior and complete the plan. Kylo used his advice to find a nearby church to hide and escaped in the disaster after the population lost their blood supply. Razior praises Kylo as the greatest man in the Empire, secretly thanking the stars he managed not to tell Kylo the major secret. Kylo hides a collection of metal roses.

Reunited! Welcome to Adventure, Finn and Rey!
(Takes place after those first two months Finn and Rey spend at the mobile academy. And it has been gone horribly. Rey is no better than when she started, Finn can only rarely predict small attacks.)
Our side story opens with Finn failing prediction practice again. After he leaves he continues working on a cross-draw holster to lessen the time of his defense. If he can only predict shots 0.3 seconds away, then he needs a system to activate his lightsaber and raise his guard before that. While he works, Rey fails meditation again, causing damage to the school. She and Finn head out and wonder if it will ever get better. Suddenly, through the dark clouds:
Poe arrives!
He's actually very morose, but since this is the first time they have spoken since EPVII. they are too happy to notice. Luke, however, does notice. The academy moves all the time. Poe shouldn't know where it is. Luke correctly deduces Venileo ordered him here, but keeps to himself while the friends reunite.
Talking with Rey, Poe finds a way to isolate her from Finn: He probes into the idea of her creating of a lightsaber, knowing it takes a month of lone isolation to do. She agrees and once again states she is so happy he is back! Poe stumbles and tries to back out of his plan, awkwardly recommends Finn help build that lightsaber. But Rey says a Jedi makes that alone, and he knows this. Finn comes in and likes the idea too! Poe hates himself.
Finn prepares a party on Poe's suggestion, with party goods Poe has brought. The plan is to get Finn inebriated then kidnap him. It is also a way to give Finn a piece of the freedom Poe promised. Meanwhile, Rey touches a crystal and instantly turns it purple. Distraught, she tries to focus and it turns red. She panics and the crystal explodes. Rey reflects on this. Rey sneaks another synthetic crystal and again, she turns it instantly purple. She begrudgingly accepts this and finishes her lightsaber.
The party is happening, the trainees are laughing as Poe tells them stories and asks about Skippy. It is a nice time. Rey crashes the party with her new lightsaber, shocking everyone there. They explain how incredible it is she finished so soon and the atmosphere becomes even more festive. Poe is happy too, but is now unable to isolate Finn. Luke take him aside.
Luke lays it down: If Poe kidnaps Finn and gives him to Organa to torture, it will be an act of war with his Jedi Order. And will kill Poe first to prove it. He makes Poe tell Organa this. Organa cancels the mission. Poe chooses not to return to the party and watches Finn and Rey laugh from a distance.
Luke accepts that Poe is a valued friend to Finn and Rey. But he is no longer welcome here. Luke sends him away in morning, promising to keep his secret if he does so. Finn and Rey don't want him to leave. He has already improved both of them in his short time here. Luke insists. Poe says he has Cluster work to do, then Rey offers to help him. She learns by experience anyway. Luke can't deny her and Finn's lack of progress with his school. Poe knows having a Jedi can be a huge help. He offers Luke to join. Rey is special and needs to grow. See the galaxy she will protect. And Poe himself needs to atone.
Luke agrees Rey's learning is the most important. Poe, Finn, and Luke will join her. Their best days (two years) begin.
.
Silva Returns.
The Imperial Family gets a message that Silva is pregnant with the child possessing the highest Force count ever recorded. She wants to rejoin and offers the child to lead the Family one day.
No one wants her back. Zaltan has many questions.
Zaltan goes to talk at the meeting point. Judge Attorn leaks the meeting place to the Clusters. Her ship is destroyed before Zaltan arrives. Silva dies with it. Zaltan is angered at Attorn but agrees it was for the best. He promotes Attorn to be his Emperor's Aide.
He tracks down the Sith Cult members Silva joined by analyzing the wreckage. He invades their hidden planet and kills them all, preventing a child like that from ever existing again. Zaltan sits without Silva, beside the Knights they made together.
.
III. Cut Material
A lot is cut out of this story. It could theoretically be series, but it would be mostly episodic adventures of Finn and Rey separately training and learning about Imperial Coruscant. The greatest issue the script has for me is all the training that was cut out. Rey had a scene of her training in the Styx-trance, explaining it's strengths and weakness and why its not used more often. Finn also had an entire arc cut on learning how to fight with his jetpack. But this script is already way too long. Everything else that stayed is needed, and tells the story well, despite its length.
An aside, the longest scene cut down was Finn explaining the plan to General Organa. It is better this way, Organa knows the plan will work because of his Force-preception and does not need to ask so many questions.
.
Cut Scene (Rey promises to kill Finn):
Originally, Rey did not hide in the Eagle, but instead hid in Epherath's secret room. It is hidden in the heating vents and she uses it to torture herself, a high uncomfortable temperature. This keeps Rey out of the Imperial search of Galencia Tower.
Ephie tells Rey that Finn has claimed responsibility for the attack at the Imperial Graveyard. She thinks he gave Herod Zaltan the information in a bid to destabilize the Imperial Family. A heated conversation about her connection with Finn happens. Rey feels a complicated sense of betrayal. She doesn't think Finn would try to kill them, but she knows that he SHOULD want to kill them.
She resolves she can't go back with the man who killed her family.
.
Cut Arc (Finn's Real Name):
Finn is still training with the jetpack at this time. He is approached by RR soldiers asking about his real name, as everyone has a different theory. Finn says he doesn't know. Poe becomes curious.
The Empire has made him a celebrity, but all the news places use the official number-names for him with little information about his family. But it does say his original city. Poe decides he and Finn should go over to his old home ground and see if he can remember it.
They find a "Traitor" tourist-trap vendor whom claims he knew Finn. They use him to find Finn's original home, only for it to be a trap. Corrupt troopers have formed their own gang in the area and use the "Traitor" trap to rob/enslave people that may be connected to the terrorists. Finn has to use his jetpack to escape with Poe, but its very awkward. The two are caught stumbling in the air by a lone trooper.
While pinned, the trooper reveals he is a local. He whispers in Finn's ear and then pretends Finn used Force powers to make him let them go. Feeling a confidence boost, and even a destiny, Finn is able to use the jetpack better to truly escape.
Finn and Poe go to the address whispered. A vacant lot, the building burned to the ground. But Finn remembers:
It was here.
.
IV. Clarifications
I'd hope the script was clear, but these are issues I could see one having. If you have any questions not answered here, let me know! I will update the list here.
.
Kylo calls the Galencia girls his sisters, but also his cousins. Which is it?
They are cousins. He feels very close to them, so he calls them sisters.
Their family tree is very simple. The first founder had one son (unnamed here) and two daughters (Mary and Silva). After he was assassinated Mary became head of House but neglected her responsibilities to explore wild space. The son became acting head of House in her absence. This son became the father to Aquila, Jael, and Ephrath. Mary controversially marries the pirate king of Wild Space, Azerty Jax. They have one son in Jon Jax/Kylo Ren. Silva was exiled, leaving Rey's exact parentage unknown to this point. They are all cousins.
.
How do Rey's powers work?
This is mostly explained, but not fully until EPIX The Empress of Death. Rey was always meant to be a Sith Empress. It is her natural state. Deeply tied to her mind. Anything less than godly miracles are difficult for her, like an elephant sketching on paper. What ever the action is, it must be consuming, or more of her power will want to be unleashed. Once she accepts her role as Empress, her mind meets her body's purpose. Unified, her full power becomes available.
.
Why would Aquila's fiance want to kill her? Couldn't he just do that anyway? Isn't everyone freaking out over nothing?
Aquila made a deal to make the Krannek, but House Galencia has all the secrets to its construction and operation. She makes it clear in contract it is their property and not the military's. This is allowed after heavy negotiation. Not only is it illegal for Zaltan's military to operate without House Galencia, if they ever tried to kill or take the information, Aquila has rigged it so her death will result in key encrypted information becoming permanently lost. (This is still a major problem btw, a lot of the MDS Krannek doesn't work right now).
If House Fashna ever thought they had this information, they would absolutely kill her so the next head would be easier to negotiate with. Unfortunately, the only way for the military to gain these codes is marrying her to one of their princes. It might be best to have her as an ally anyway.
.
Why didn't Luke tell Finn that Rey was always going to betray him?
If Luke told Finn, Finn would tell Poe. If Poe thinks Rey is going to betray them, he would have followed General Organa's secret orders and killed Ephrath and Aquila himself. The disaster would have ended up killing Finn and Poe as well.
If Luke told Finn to NOT TELL POE that Rey is going to betray them, Poe will become suspicious and follow General Organa's anyway. Same result.
If Luke told Finn to NOT BRING POE, he is pretty much is shot on sight. Rey takes Aquila's offer and leaves, only to be followed by Kylo. This starts a chain reaction, as Kylo never knew David Fashna had his classic TIE fighter tracked. The scheme is found out by House Fashna and Zaltan wages war on House Galenica, Rey winning but losing all of her family. Much darker timeline.
Even the advice Luke gave Finn to change and trust his friends resulted in the same vision Rey saw in EPVII The Hidden Danger, were Finn is killed by Kylo Ren before Rey's eyes. Rey becomes a darker Empress after she kills Kylo, but fails to save Ren from Finn's Invasion. But Finn did change and did beat the odds. If he could have trusted Rey through her betrayal and joined her, a happier timeline would have formed. Instead, the more interesting events of EPIX The Empress of Death will happen.
If Luke says nothing, Poe will not follow General Organa's orders, but Finn will stay weak. He will not train to get stronger, he will not get new weapons from Byzancy because he figures there is no danger on this mission. Thus, he and Poe will die at the Imperial Graveyard. Kylo kills Rey and rules as Emperor. It goes poorly.
Luke gave the best advice he could, vague as it was.
.
V. Imperial Family
After the death of The Emperor (retroactively called Emperor Sidious), a power gap was left within the core planets. It was a period of chaos; new ephemeral emperors, democracies-for-a-day, the government changes and fractures constantly. The largest companies see an opportunity to secure their fortunes, killing and marrying their rivals until only monopolies remain. The eight largest then intermarried into one "Family." Next, they became the replacement for the government by marrying into the "legal" royal House Palpatine, and marrying the most promising war admirals. With complete legal, military, and economic authority, they had the power to announce themselves as the "Imperial Family" reintroducing the Galactic Empire.
.
Culture
The Imperial Family used propaganda like 'honor' to control the population's thoughts. The Imperial Graveyard is one such piece of this. Overtime, however, much shorter than one would have thought, the Houses begin to believe their own propaganda. They obsess over honor and glory more than their own wealth. Imperial Graveyard becomes a final proof of ones honor that all Houses must acknowledge. Even the richest in the Galaxy see the Imperial Graveyard as the ultimate goal. Everything an Imperial Family member does is for honor. All men serve, voluntarily, from this obsession with honor, especially those who are completely incompetent.
Further detail on the Imperial Graveyard, all monuments in the DS1 Memorial Garden must be voted on by all Main Branch members of the eight Houses before construction. Your honor before everyone will determine your grave.
Further, FURTHER detail on the Imperial Graveyard. While the sizes of the monuments are comparable, they are not to scale. This was an aesthetic choice. To make the monuments properly to scale, DS1 would have roughly 165 arches, and DS2 would have 345 arches.
There is high demand, expectation, and resources on these members. The talent pool is extremely impressive. Every Main Branch has at least one genius, and many more in the lower branches.
.
Government
Oligarchy, with an elected dictator for military matters. The Houses control of all resources, including control of their citizens/workers (these are the same thing). Any problem in the civilization is solved personally by the companies. The Emperor can also do so at any time. The Emperor then must be chosen as one who would not abuse this power. The eight heads of each House must vote unanimously on an Main Branch member to become Emperor. There have been many gaps in leadership as result. The role is primarily military. They are only expected to win battles, keep the Cluster out, let trade flow. They are not expected to manage factory conditions, nor make laws, though they have some authority to do so.
Laws are enforced by company judges. All crimes are connected to damaging production, or violating a contract. Judges that produce numerical success will one day become High Judges, those who review scandals between Houses. Any high judge of renown can issue an impeachment trial for the Emperor if they have committed an illegal action. The heads of the House will vote again. If it is not unanimous, the Emperor will be stripped of title and punished accordingly.
.
House Structure
The Main Branch are the legal owners of their monopol(ies) and their inheritance. They have a direct bloodline to the owner. If one marries into the Main Branch, they and their offspring become a part of the Main Branch.
Those related to a married-in Main Branch member, then become a lower branch member relative to the married member's bloodline. Every bloodline removed is another branch lower. Your title is either Main Branch, or (number) under main. If all the Main Branch perishes, it will go the those first under main, becoming the new Main Branch. To join the family from outside, you must marry in. This is almost never out of love, it is an offering for promising business employees, scientists, and Imperial officers whose talents can improve the House.
Knights of Ren are given in scale of House importance. The Emperor gets the four best knights. A House Head gets three knights. A Main Branch member is assigned two. Any member between one and five under main may request a single knight. Knights are not given out from here. (Empress Sidious has dissolved the Knights of Ren system, this no longer applies)
.
The Eight Houses
1. PALPATINE, monopoly on Banks. House Palpatine was the first to secure the Galactic Bank, but the ensuing chaos crashed its value. They held on to it throughout, while the viscous Midasign Family took every new banking system in the core worlds, saving the Galactic Bank as their sole competitor. Palpatine married in, and they took the name. It is not technically a monopoly, each Main Branch and the five under main have their own private bank. Outside of name, the House holds very little power among the Houses.
2. FASHNA, monopoly on Supply. House Fashna is a war House. In the chaos of the core planets, the military took whatever it could for itself. They claimed and held whatever mining planets they could. The most successful used crushing warfare to do it. Captain Herod Zaltan was a young ruthless man who earned respect preventing a slave colony from being freed by rebels. Now all Imperial mines belong to them. The most important is their control of hypermatter. Many of the factories are theirs as well, only refining factories to not anger other House's monopolies.
Zaltan was third under main of House Fashna. He married up his House to become a Main Branch member. Everyone respects Zaltan's prowess in war and the great success of the Knights of Ren. At least on the surface. His wife dies of an overdose, their two kids are each assassinated. All of these deaths were caused by Houses, but only one was Galencia.
3. GALENCIA, monopoly on Starships. House Galencia started from the wreckage of the Sienar Fleet Systems. The Sienar family head was killed by a famous Jedi, and the wealthy Galenica family bought it cheap. Through marrying a war admiral, the took over the struggling Cygnus Spaceworks. After joining these two, the best were bought out or killed.
The most controversial House. After their two connections to House Atreusar and House Tudorn are both killed, they do not remarry into other Houses. Even their lower branches seem to be banned from doing so. At the same time, they use their improvements in space travel tame much of wild space. It increases trade, and made House Galencia the richest of the Houses, along with having their own massive private armies to protect the new trade routes. Many Galencia members are killed, from lower and Main Branches, until only a young Aquila Galenica remains to head it.
Aquila ends much of the controversy. She gives the other Houses more stake in Wild Space, vacating much of their gained wealth. She marries many of her lower branch families to other Houses. Killings against other House members occur, but all are deemed "honorable defense" by the High Judges. With her House's creation of the MDS Krannek, they have become more powerful under Aquila than they even were at their Wild Space peak in riches.
4. HUX, monopoly on Food. House Hux is a war House. They took lesser military commanders to secure fertile lands, synthesizing centers, production factories, and sellers. Successful, but have a woeful insecurity from frequent military failure.
After the events of EPVIII, their House is destroyed, and the monopoly dissolved.
This is not a spoiler of EPIX. House Hux raises their evidence that Empress Sidious was a Republic spy, and must be legally deposed as Empress.
The lie Rey and Kylo make as defense is:
1) Rey always had this godlike power
2) She respected Zaltan as Emperor, never deposing him
3) Hid her identity to later prove her honor
4) Traitor Finn Skywalker sensed her arriving on Bezdize
5) He followed them to Coruscant.
6) He sensed her incredible power move to the Imperial Graveyard
7) He manipulated House Hux's insecurity to attack House Galencia
8) House Hux traitorously withheld information about the Traitor to further their own House, and this caused "Finn's Invasion"
9) Rey only used her powers to stop Traitor Finn Skywalker from killing Zaltan, but woefully failed.
Conclusion: Rey is obviously not a spy, everything is House Hux's fault.
This lie is so convincing even House Hux believes it. The Empress's campaign to destroy House Hux is a complete disaster, however. Most are killed/captured, but the survivors now aid the rebels all over Coruscant. Through them, the planetary civil war becomes perpetually sustained. She can personally destroy any rebel base, but Ren is always attacked in her absence. There is no way to win the planet. She is forced to give up Coruscant and they move the Imperial Capitol. Ren falls. This is a major slight on Rey's career as Empress.
House Hux now blames everyone and hates everyone. They hate the Rebels that live honorlessly, they the Imperial Family that expelled them, they hate the Empress for hunting them, they hate Kylo for starting it all, and they hate THAT TRAITOR FINN FOR TRICKING THEM. The House hates the galaxy itself for conspiring against them.
Ironically, because of this they are (removed for EPIX spoilers).
5. TUDORN, monopoly on Power Generation. Self explanatory. This is the house Attorn is from.
6. LUCREJA, monopoly on Media. Self explanatory.
7. ATREUSAR, many monopolies on technology. Self explanatory.
8 CENTIRON, monopoly on Medicine. Self explanatory. This was the House most upset at Zaltan for employing Silva Galencia on the Knights of Ren project. That was their monopoly and even her studying medicine is a major breach of contract, let alone handling a major project.

VI. Name Meanings
.
Bezdize
All names on this planets refer to "Best Days," the name of the planet just a slant combination of the words. This is the time all of our characters will look back on with equal joy and regret. Especially with how their lives go down from here on after. You never know when the best days end, because you can't even tell they're happening. Only after its long over. I wish I appreciated mine more.
Quick guide:
Remahn Sizenceez = Reminiscence
Sen Temahtuhully = Sentimentality
Nize Wespha = Wistfulness (shuffled the "ness" to the front)
Sech Meltize = Schmaltzy (what a fun word)
Might have missed one, but that's the pattern.
.
.
Attorn
This is a very old legal term for the transfer of something to a new owner. The word Attornment is still used that when a landowner sells his land, the new owner will receive rent from his tenants. He is the legal authority to recognize the transfer of ownership of the Galactic Empire. He recognized it with Zaltan from the 8th Emperor, and now from Zaltan to Rey. The term being very old and legal is a good symbol of his character.
.
Cardinal Knights of Ren
In reference to the four cardinal directions on a map. They cover their Emperor on all directions. Their armor has both Matte black and "cardinal red."
.
Amatsang Ren
This Knight covers the East, with Amaterasu and Yang. Amaterasu is the Japanese female sun goddess. Yang is the Chinese symbol that balances Yin in the universe; it represents many things, but among them male and sun. This Knight is more androgynous and has two plasma-balls ("suns") orbiting himself.
.
Tzal'aska Ren
This Knight covers the South, with Quetzalcoatl and Ch'aska. Quetzalcoatl is the Mesoamerican giant flying serpent. Ch'aska is the Incan luminous goddess of beauty and virgin women. This Knights uses an extremely high powered laser that she bends as a luminous serpent through the air to attack from a distance.
.
Howlett Ren
This Knight covers the West, with James "Logan" Howlett, "Wolverine" from the X-Men franchise. An American/Canadian creation whose character was heavily experimented on to develop an unstoppable warrior with hidden blades within his body. This Knight had horrible experiments to insert lightsaber outlets all over his entire body. He attacks close range and personal.
.
Johton Ren
This Knight covers the North, with the Jötunn of Norse mythology. These are giant, strong, shapeshifters. This Knight is of extremely large humanoid stature and controls shapeshifting armor. He is most anti-Jedi, his armor absorbing Jedi attacks extremely well.
.
Ephrath Galencia
Her Biblical name means "fruitful" but can also mean "exhausted". Ephie shows Rey the fruitful land of Ren, but is secretly exhausted of all joy this fruit provides. Lastly, her name sounds like "wrath" at the end, showing another side of her when pushed. Her nickname removes the "Wrath" from her, and she acts like a more normal girl she deeply wants to be.
.
Jael Galenica
The Biblical character Jael invites the enemy into her tent and kills him in his sleep with a tent peg. While it was unfortunate there wasn't time for her in this script, is an apt depiction of her type of character. There are many characters like her in House Galencia that we don't even get to know the names of. She still exists in the script to show this idea.
.
Aquila Galencia
The Biblical name is really a Roman name meaning "Eagle." She is sharp, always watching, and feels threatening. She is the leader.
.
Merriam Polyxenia
Her given Biblical name is not in reference to the more interesting Biblical figure of a similar name. This is only meant to evoke a sense of age, its why it uses the "Merriam-Webster" dictionary spelling of the name. Polyxenia is from the name "Xenia" meant to mean hospitality. Combining everything, She an "Old lady with lots of hospitality."
.
Aeneas
In reference to the Greco-Roman figure who was a noble Trojan hero of smaller role on the enemy Trojan side. After its' destruction he becomes the founder of a new civilization later to be called Rome. Aeneas is originally from the enemy side, our story's Trojans. He is another good man once on the evil side, and one day, he will become the founder of a new civilization. (Removed for EPIX spoilers)
.
General Peter Byzancy
His Biblical name is for Peter, the close disciple of Jesus Christ, specifically when he makes a horrible mistake against his savior, but is forgiven and continues as a greater ally. His last name is very on the nose, as he is a "Byzantine General," a reference to the programming visualization of interactive consistency issues in servers. All the servers are generals, and they must all agree to win a battle, or successfully flee from one. It is important that they all agree, or at least that the traitors are disregarded for the plan. The name added the ending -ncy of "interactive consistency" to avoid any deeper connections to Byzantium or the Byzantine Empire.
In full, he a man who betrayed his savior only to be forgiven, and useful in getting all the disparate generals to unify on a single battle and disregard the traitors.
.
LeMondi Pod Races
Very simple, its just a combination of motorsport's Triple Crown: Le Mans, Monaco, and Indy 500.
.
David Fashna
In reference to the Biblical name David. Only meant to connect the idea of royalty. Has nothing in common with the Biblical character. He is not Zaltan's son, just a nephew.
.
Styx-Trance
In reference to the most known underworld river, Styx. It was the river Achilles was dipped into to become invulnerable. It is normally a light defense for sleeping dark side users, but with Rey's power it is extremely strong. But not invulnerable, as seen in her fight with the Cardinal Knights. She could take about three shots from the Velatav's high-powered rifles before the shield breaks.
.
Jon Jax (Kylo Ren's true name)
Firstly, I think the name has the right snappy alliteration to be a pulp sci-fi protagonist, if it isn't already! This is to show what Kylo could have been, had he the faith.
His Biblical name Jon is in reference to John the Baptist. The figure who exist as he forerunner to Jesus Christ and one who baptizes the same savior. This is in reference to his training and awakening of the much superior Force being in Rey. He is only the forerunner to her own great power.
His last name Jax refers to both Ajax the Greater (AG) and Ajax the Lesser (AL) in the Iliad (and post Iliad):
AG is the strongest, combat-savvy warrior on the Greek side, famous for his seven layered shield. But he plays defense. No one cares about defense. After the war is won, the Greeks have a MVP vote for who gets Achilles' armor. AG doesn't have eloquence or the blessing of the gods. He has been on his own unlike the other heroes, barely taking any damage. But Odysseus had a silver tongue and the god's approval, and he gets the prize. AG takes the robbery poorly and kills himself. Our Kylo is probably the strongest, combat-savvy Force user. So skilled he takes nearly no damage in EPVII. He is blunt and does not perceive his blessing of fate, and is convinced he is on his own. He wants to be the hero. He despises Jacob Hux for taking his glory. He loathes Finn for earning the public title of hero through Kylo's sacrifice. His negative emotions around these men leads to destruction.
AL is an arrogant warrior on the Greek side. He thinks too much of himself and what he means to the war effort. In the tellings he is said to be great, yet he doesn't make any relevant moves through the battles. While the Greeks raid the city, he rapes the tragic seer Cassandra in a church she sought for protection. The action so vile, the gods want AL to be sacrificed. AL brazenly lies by swearing under the same gods trying to kill him that he is innocent. And so, the Greeks left with AL on board, and the gods destroyed most of the fleet, sinking their spoils. And AL long with them. Our Kylo does nothing quite so repulsive, but he is an arrogant snake who never takes ownership of who is and what he has done. He puts his hate of himself and his standing in his attacks. He brutalizes his enemies. He wants them to suffer like he does. Yet in his mind, he is still the hero. His rejection of his reality populates the failures and tragedies that befall him and those near him.
.
Azerty Jax and Mary Galenica
Quickly, these aren't major characters. Azerty is a foreign keyboard layout, his last name only exists for Kylo to have it. He is a foreigner. Mary is Mary because she is married to Azerty. The name in only Biblical to fit the naming convention, there are no specific Biblical figures she is referencing.
.
Ides of Juzar
Meant to be extremely obvious to increase the audience's suspicion. References the "Ides of March" that Julius Caesar was warned before his brutal assassination. "Juzar" a mix of his first and last name. Ides means the (near) middle day of the month. In Roman culture, the Ides of months were often Religious Holidays.
In full, it means this holiday will have a major assassination in the middle of our story.
.
Xa'Xa'Vill life-slaves
The life-slaves are unimportant and robotic. The name of their race is a specific number, "28," then converted into a Roman Numeral and spaced out as the original language is clicks-based. They are from the 28th planet Mary Galencia claimed in Wild Space. Ck'Lill has the same naming process, named after 152 for the only scene he has a speaking role in.
.
Jeremiah Hux
In reference to the Biblical figure, Jeremiah. The prophet who warned of coming destruction, and whose home is destroyed as predicted. Now our Jeremiah is not a prophet, but his purpose is to foretell Kylo the destruction House Galenica. Soon, Jeremiah's will be destroyed instead.
.
Vetalav Assassins
References Vetala from Hindu mythology. They are re-animated corpses possessed by evil spirits. These are a group of warriors from far away who were listed as dead by House Hux and are now "alive" to terrorize once more. They have a major fight in a spooky graveyard, and they fly around like shadows, perfect for evil spirits.
.
Cain Priamp
In reference to Cain, whose unwise sacrifice leads to him murdering family and gaining a terrible curse. Cain Priamp's usage of the terrorist cell he is funding to sacrifice Finn to Zaltan leads to the destruction and unending curse of House Hux.
Priamp is a combination of King Priam and a preamp. King Priam is the Trojan king that infamously accepted the "Trojan Horse," and thusly invited invaders through his impenetrable walls. A preamp (preamplifier) takes a small noise and makes it strong enough to be used by other devices to use better. Priamp is a smaller -but vital- step to make a minor threat by Finn, into a major worldwide disaster.
.
Cassariot Ren
References (removed for EPIX spoilers), (removed for EPIX spoilers), and it sounds like Chariot.
The first two are combined. This is because they are both (removed for EPIX spoilers).
Chariot because of it a violet/murderous sport often used by the slave-gladiators in Rome's grand arenas. It was a wealth display by the elite. They of course used whips to steer their horses. Fitting for a warrior-slave using whips, used as a wealth demonstration by his owners.
