It's been three days had passed since Itachi and Ryuuen re-match which at the same time deciding Class 1-C leader. The match end with Ryuuen's victory over Itachi that cement his position as the leader of Class 1-C.

It's currently Saturday, and it's time for them to go swimming, since it was Swimming Class time. Something that's quite normal for Itachi as he also does this during his old life, although not in school but self-taught alongside Shisui guide as well.

Currently, he's changing his outfit in boy's room alongside the others before Ryuuen approach him.

"Itachi. Let's announce it today." He said seriously. "We need to get the class organized before it's too late."

"I see." Itachi said as he finished changing his clothes which caught the surprise of other male students, except Albert who silently changing on his own. "Very well then. We still have Dazai-sensei games and study groups formation to be worried about."

"You quite muscular, Itachi-san." Kondou praised after seeing Itachi's body.

"No wonder you and Ryuuen-san able to go toe and toe like that." Ishizaki also followed.

"It's nothing actually. If I go with Albert in term of physical, I'll probably lose. Kakeru and I just happen to have similarity in physical strength." Itachi said. It's true though that he currently not stand a chance against Albert in pure physique but he can beat him probably in techniques, like what he did to Kouenji three years ago. However, he pretty certain if he trained more, he probably can beat Albert.

"Ku ku ku. No need to get humble. I bet you can probably one-shot everyone in here." Ryuuen lightly joked.

"That's much exaggerated, Dragon-kun~" Fudou joked as he change his outfit.

"What do you say Madan bastard? You the one that get beaten by Itachi on the first round." Ryuuen countered.

"Oi oi~ Say the Dragon-kun who got beaten by the same person twice. Didn't they say if someone is beaten twice by the same person they didn't stand a chance?" Fudou countered rather jokingly.

"Hoo. I'll break that old shit just see." Ryuuen challenged. "Or maybe we shall spar after this swimming lesson nonsense is done?"

"Pass~." Fudou said as he walks past Ryuuen. However, he later glances with a smirk. "However, if it's a swimming contest I wouldn't mind."

"Enough both of you." Itachi sighed. "Let's go to the outside and greet the girls before the swimming instructor arrive. And this is warning." His gaze then turns murderous toward the others sans Albert, Ryuuen, and Fudou. "Don't you ever have any pervert thoughts about the girl in a swimsuit. If you do." He then glances at Albert who cracks his fist. "Then they'll return with black eyes I can promise you that. Understand?" He demanded.

Most of the boys, including Komiya, Kondou, and Ishizaki felt intimated by Itachi as their eyes become black dot. "Y-Yeah. We understand."

"Huh." Ryuuen disinterest with the event that happens as he walkout from the changing room.

After all the males already exiting the male changing room, once they already reach the swimming pool, they are immediately greeted by the girls. Uniquely, Class 1-C has more female students than the male, which are 23 against 17 male students. And from what he sees, seems Mio currently manage to lead most of the girls with Yabu being the second.

Mio put her hand on her hips. "Well Itachi. Seems you do gain more abs huh?" She asked with a smile.

"Mio please not here." Itachi just sighed as he knows her comment means no harm. However, he don't want to catch attention from the girls, which of course goes like he predicted.

"Ooh! I didn't expect that Itachi-kun is this muscular." Yabu is the first one to say that.

"As expected of Itachi-sama! And from the act yesterday, you give the vibe of that big guy who say sorry for playing unfair against the straw-hat!?" Saki chimed in.

'Hmm… Did Saki-san talking about Manga?' Hiyori thought in confusion. To tell the truth, she actually has hidden hobbies of reading Manga that not even known by Itachi. But since she still a newbie, she still can't following any conversation about it.

"E-Eh!? S-Saki-chan pleases d-don't spoiler that!? I haven't r-reach that…." Rika surprisingly speak up. Itachi inwardly smiled, knowing that Rika at least have hobby instead of learning.

"Yeah. Like Morofuji said, don't spoiler it since I haven't read that, Yamashita." Ryuuen then walk up and put his left hand around Itachi's neck. "And don't make our dear vice-leader become flustered by all of your teasing."

"Kakeru, no need to-"

Saki then doing a salute. "Understand, Kaido-san!?" She said with passion while the others can only look with black dots in their eyes. Saki really is a damn chunnibyou.

"If I can become one, I probably just Bolo Breath you here and now, Yamashita." Ryuuen threatened her in comically annoyed tone.

"Understand Kaido-san!" Saki once again said with a salute, much to Ryuuen comical annoyance.

"Then based on the match yesterday, Itachi will be my co-leader." Ryuuen declared as he pat Itachi's left shoulder with his usual smirk. All of them already gathered on the swimming pool, waiting for the PE teacher to come which of course not Dazai. "I hope all of you don't have any complaint with the results. If there are complaints, we are ready to receive it."

"Like Ryuuen said, I'll be his co-leader and advisor of the class progress. However, I also need the advice from all of you. I don't want our class to be too dependent on either both of us. All of you are a part of this class and I appreciate any critique or advice that can help our class to be better." Itachi firmly pressed the part so all of his classmates know that all of them are no need to be feared to voice what's inside their hearts about their class.

"Itachi, Ryuuen." Itachi then sees Tokito walk forward. "If I must say the truth… I appreciate the results as both of you play fairly for it. However, I actually still can't accept if Ryuuen lead the class, despite you becoming the co-leader calm me a bit." He said honestly, unlike his accusing tone yesterday. "Because of that, I'll see it first if Ryuuen becoming our class leader is a right decision or not." He stated.

'So Tokito want a proof? But why'd he dislike Ryuuen so much yesterday? It's not a common human dislike of violence. It sounds… Personal.' Itachi thought after listening to Tokito reasoning. "Very well then. I'm glad that you're not like yesterday, Tokito." He said with a small smile.

"Like I said Itachi, I'll see it first although I'm glad that our class not becomes a dictatorship like I feared." Tokito said while also slightly smiled. "I'll look forward to how both of you will lead."

Itachi nods to Tokito before glanced on the stands to reveal Sumireko that not join the swimming lesson due to her weak physical capability and just look toward the others with a smile. He probably will have a talk with Sumireko later since he still didn't get her answer about Ryuuen becoming the leader of Class 1-C.

"Attention! Class 1-C!" The physical education teacher finally arrives. He is a young man with short, choppy brown hair and brown eyes. Judging from his age, he probably on his mid-20s. "Please line up!" He commanded as the entire Class 1-C start to make a line.

"40 students but 2 can't join due to personal illness I see… I've heard rumors that most of Class 1-C filled with athletic students, now I can see why." The PE teacher compliment as he scan the entire Class 1-C. "I expect that all of you here warm up before goes for the swim. For starter, I want to check how fast you are after all of you doing warm-up exercises. It will separate by gender 50 meters freestyle. For the winner: I'll give you 5000 private points. The students that come in the last place however, will get supplementary lessons." The teacher informed.

However, this cause wary on Itachi and Ryuuen. The former then whisper to the latter. "Itachi. This sounds strange. Ku ku ku, seems what we theorized need some revision before we can answer Dazai-sensei game." He said.

"I agree. The teacher freely said he'll give private points like that. For me, it's really inappropriate acts." Itachi said in agreement. In his old life, instructor caught doing something like this will be punished by having they being fired. "We'll talk about this after this swimming lesson is over."

After two hours had passed, the swimming lesson is finally over. Surprisingly, the PE teacher allows Class 1-C to freely use their free time. Normally, this will allow them relax but not when Ryuuen and Itachi gathers the entire class sans Sumireko that excuse herself for feeling not well on the edge of the swimming pool.

"Before we begin, I think all of you caught something strange about the PE teacher. It's true that the winner of the free-style gets 5000 private points. However, I think it was strange that a teacher who supposed to teach us freely said something like that. It's really an inappropriate act." Itachi simply stated. He already knows who the winner that got 5000 private points is. The lists are:

1st Group (Male) : Kakeru Ryuuen (27 seconds)

2nd Group (Male) : Itachi Ibuki (25 seconds)

3rd Group (Male) : Fudou Nomura (26.5 seconds)

1st Group (Female) : Minori Kinoshita (32 seconds)

2nd Group (Female) : Mio Ibuki (28 seconds)

3rd Group (Female) : Makoto Kino (29.4 seconds)

4th Group (Female) : Nishino Takeko (33.8 seconds)

Seeing the list make Itachi quite surprised. Seems the girls of the class hide some athletic ones like Minori who he still have no chance to converse with. Still he praised Mio as one of the two females that manage to reach below 30 seconds. He really proud with her growth as her own person.

"I agree with you. The offer sounds too lenient… Like what real world works." Fudou said in agreement. "Could this mean this school is basically like you know… A small city?" He wondered.

"Like Kidzania perhaps!" Saki chimed in, making other glance at her in confusion. "Seriously none of you knows the place where Isekai come true!?" She exclaimed in surprise.

Shiho surprisingly speak up. "No. I agree with you Saki-chan. However, Kidzania doesn't sound like this. It's too odd." She opined before look toward Itachi. After the match three days ago, she starts to take Dazai's advice to heart. She realized… All of it was not her fault. "Itachi-kun. Dazai-sensei said to me three days ago… The last clue for his game is on the swimming pool. I don't know why he said such things to me… But I think this is what he meant."

"Such is Dazai-sensei I must say. Behind his suicidal tendencies, he actually seems care for us." Ryuuen followed in. "But are you sure he only says that, Manabe?" He asked Shiho.

Shiho nod. "Yes. And she said some encouragement as well." She replied.

"I see." Ryuuen then bellowed to all the class. "Listen up all of you! With the fuss of today swimming lessons, it's quite clear that something is not right about this school. Because of that, I'll say it again, keep your private points to at least 25,000 private points at the end of the month and keep behaving well in the class. I mean this for you especially, Yamashita. I don't know what ghost possess you but don't use that speak pattern on a teacher." He ordered.

"Understood, Kaido-san! I promise with my life if I have to!?" Saki said as she doing salute once again.

Ryuuen just twitch his eyebrows in annoyance but at least he can hold his temper from wanting to smack her in the head for her stupid way of talking. "Fine then. Before you all can leave, I want to thank you to all of you, for accepting our results." He surprisingly thanked the class while look down. "I promise under our lead, we won't let the class down."

The time then skips to the same place where Sudou's being harassed by Class 2-A students. However, instead of class matters, it was a free time for Itachi, Ryuuen, Fudou, Makoto and Mio.

As those who follow the middle grade martial arts tournament three years ago are held some small friendly reunion on ANHS. All of it under Honami's suggestion. However as suspected, Kouenji didn't come alongside Nagumo and Manabu since both of them are busy with the student council matters currently while Fuuka is unknown. In turn, Suzune attend as her older brother replacement.

"Hai hai! I'm really glad that all of us, the former participants for 32nd Martial Arts Tournament can gather together like this after three years!" Honami begin as she happily said it. "I really hope we can do something like this frequently despite our difference in classes!"

"Ku ku ku. I only come here because of formality. Because I can see, all of you here seemingly become stronger." Ryuuen commented. "I bet it will be interesting if all of us here have a re-match. But that damn Kouenji didn't come I see."

"Kouenji-kun won't come even though I persuade him. Nagumo-senpai and Nii-san can't come because the student council currently gets busy of paperwork so I replace him." Suzune said in disappointed tone for Kouenji's absence.

"Well, I'm glad he didn't come. I still have some beef against him from three years ago." Mio commented as she sips her drink.

"By the way, I want to introduce Kino to all of you. You see, due to her match against Kiryuuin, she can't join us three years ago." Fudou said introducing Makoto to the others.

"It's nice to know all of you." Makoto said in formal tone.

"Nice to meet you as well, Makoto-chan!" Honami said in happy tone.

"Nice to meet you as well, Honami-chan." Makoto replied with a formal smile.

Itachi and Masumi just silent as they watched the scene of the reunion. Masumi then talk to Itachi. "Say Itachi… Did your homeroom teacher really that mad?" She asked in wary tone.

Itachi sighed. 'Dazai-sensei…' He thought before replied. "Let me guess, he ask the female students about who gladly want to do double suicide with him?"

"In fact, he asks me that first before turn to the others." Masumi sighed in small frustration as she still remembers the scene. When she was suddenly ask to come front to write the literature quotes of a novel, he ask just like that, making her narrowed her eyes at him and says no in murderous tone. She even holds the urge to smack him in the face.

"I suggest you shall not take it seriously." Suzune suddenly advised. "He asks the same thing on my class and half of the girls are afraid when he is on the class. I'm also the victim of being asked and all I did was giving a stomp to his foot." She said.

"Well done Suzune. Too bad you didn't even see what he did on the second day." Mio snickered with annoyance. "He literally enters his own body to an oil barrel! Thinking it was a way to suicide or something!?"

"You mean that oil barrel incident? It's quite widespread to the entire school in just a day! In fact, most of our class is afraid of Dazai-sensei!?" Honami said in comically frightened tone.

"Uh… We can't take it seriously if you said it like that." Suzune stated with popping sweatdrop on her head.

"I think we can agree that Dazai-sensei is quite a madman himself." Mio supported.

"Dazai-sensei actually is not like what he seen on the surface." Itachi opined which make Suzune, Honami, Masumi, and Mio look at him in surprise. After all, he really goes to such length preparing special place for him and Ryuuen in the rooftop and even covers the violence so their class won't suffer bad views because of it. 'Despite being like that, I can say Dazai-sensei really took a great care for our class. But, I can see that he seemingly come from dark background so all of the violence is common to him. However… I'm confused by what he meant by that?' He wondered, remembering Dazai's words three days ago.

"…. For the Stray Dogs class that I aimed." – Dazai, Re-match Between Man.

'Stray Dogs. If for normal people, it sounds insulting but I think it have a meaning. It's like Dazai-sensei… Want to prevent something bad from happen and thus… entrust our class…' Itachi thought tried to find the meaning of it. What does it mean? Does it have the connection to the mysterious organization that Hagoromo said to him before his reincarnation or something else entirely that even escape the eye of the founder of Ninjutsu? Even for Itachi who's known to be able to easily read through people, Dazai is an enigma that his eyes can't comprehend.

"Itachi-kun?" Honami's voice awakens him from his thought as some of them look at him in concern. "You seem have many things on your mind. Are you okay?" She asked in concern.

"N-Nothing. It's just… Seems Dazai-sensei really cause troubles for the others… I just feel guilty for it." Itachi honestly replied.

"He's okay. Like what Suzune and Masumi said before, our class homeroom teacher really gives us headache." Mio tries to covers him up.

The reunion continues till' 08.00 p.m. when all of them bid their farewell to their respective dorms.

"You seem have a lot in your minds Itachi. You keep silent for half an hour during the reunion you know?" Mio asked in concern as Itachi along with her and Ryuuen goes to their dorm.

"It's okay Mio. It just… I'm quite surprised Dazai-sensei asks something like that to the other class. I wonder what his reason to wanting to die so badly is." Itachi replied. "I know that he sometimes use it as a joke but… It seems too dark. Like the novel he writes."

"You said he's the writer of that novel you and Hiyori keep reading." Ryuuen stated the fact. "What's so interesting about it anyway?" He wondered.

"I'm interested about one thing. The reason of the main character joining a murder association." Itachi stated. "It was said on the novel that the reason he joined the murder association is because he want to find his reason to live through seeing human true nature in there. Its sounds quite dark but… The philosophy of the main character sounds interesting. That's maybe why he does suicidal attempt… Because nothing can surpass his mind and he became bored with the world." He tells them the brief summary of the No Longer Human. 'I'm glad that I don't become like the main character of the novel. Because if I do… I wonder if I can have normal relationship with everyone.' He thought to himself.

"That novel was quite dark…" Mio said in amazement of Dazai's writing. "Maybe I shall read it sometimes… Hiyori probably glad enough to lend it to me."

"Still… We're not talking about that right now. Whether Dazai-sensei chooses to act like that or not, it's not our place to meddle into his business. However, what I'm curious about currently is to finish his game about the true nature of the school. Thanks to that fuss on the swimming pool, our investigation of the security cameras, and the act of the upperclassmen, I already create three hypothesis of how this school works. From those three, I can certain that one of them is the closest to the answer." Ryuuen stated in confident tone.

"Is that so? Hn, seems I really need to hone my analytical skills outside of battle huh?" Itachi said in acceptance of what his lack.

"No need to worry. That means you can become my best partner in class, right? I'll teach you some of how to be a good cold-reader." Ryuuen said with a smile.

Itachi surprised with what Ryuuen just said. Based on what he observes even though they already manage to understand each other as close friends, Ryuuen will never said this out loud nevertheless in front of Mio. 'I see.' He thought before replying. "It's really like you huh?"

Mio also notice that after the fight three days ago, Ryuuen seems not as hostile as before as he never called his classmates maggots despite still using his rude words. 'He really manages to get along with Itachi huh?' She thought while she slowing her pace to look toward the girl dorm that already in front of the three of them. 'If Itachi can do that… Then, I…'

Night finally arrives on the sixth day of April. On one of a café that opened on the weekend till' midnight, two siblings currently on talk with each other. Manabu for now manage to make a free time from his student council duties to do a normal talk with his younger sister. After realizing his mistake of trying to educating Suzune in hard way that he thought was right, he started to do something like this in casual with Suzune ever since the end of the Middle Grade Tournaments three years ago, although it was stopped ever since he attend ANHS. She also one of his inspiration to make ANHS semi-opened to the outside world, hoping that no one that attend here will suffer the same treatment like he did to her own sibling.

"I see. So the one that comes mostly the first years huh? I can't have any reason for that. After all, I'm busy with the student council business and only have less than a year on this school." Manabu stated after hearing Suzune story about the reunion.

Suzune nod before something appears on her mind. "Nii-san, I actually want to ask something… About the discipline committee." After she said that, Manabu's hold on his glass become hardens for a moment. "To tell you the truth on the second day, three upperclassmen harass my classmates and not long after that, Akutagawa-senpai arrives and stops the harassment from happening even further. However… I don't understand… Why it have to be so cruel… I think there's-"

"That's what they deserved." Manabu suddenly stated in cold tone before look toward Suzune. "Suzune. This is not only my warning as an older brother but also as the student council president of this school. Never bring attention of the discipline committee to your class. In other words, you must convince your classmates to behave properly." He warned her.

"But… Isn't the discipline committee job is to make sure the rules are obeyed properly? Because from the incident, Akutagawa-senpai only punishes the three senpai and warned us to be careful with our behavior." Suzune reasoned, not understand why Manabu's so wary about the discipline committee.

"I agree. Despite how he and the other discipline committee acts, Akutagawa is a person that obeys the rules and he's a man that always keeps his words. That's what positive about him. However… The way of how he's doing that against Class 2-A, it's very cruel and like a wolf that force his pack to obey with force. I can only look… Because I appreciate of what he did." Manabu explained.

"Appreciate? Even though he's that violent… I thought you always dislike everything that use violence as the first way." Suzune said in confused tone.

"Because thanks to him, the school won't suffer a nightmare if Nagumo manage to become the student council president. I tell you from the letter I sent to you right, about Nagumo's idea of meritocracy on ANHS?" Manabu asked him. At first, Nagumo's idea to turn ANHS into a full meritocracy really disturb him since he manages to get influence of the entire second year and almost all of the third years aside from his class, Class 3-A. But not long after that, Akutagawa immediately emerge into power by molding the discipline committee and put this idea to the mud with brute force. In the span of three months, the entire third year and all of the second year sans Nagumo's class dies out about the full meritocracy plan, leaving the idea currently as a husk of its former self.

"I… See. I already read about it, and it will sure create pros and cons between students. The ideas sound good as it portrays the outside world pretty well but if the person who propose it is just like you describe on the letter, then this school will turn like an empire with him in charge." Suzune opined. "Seems the school really at fault then… For making someone like him ever entering in the first place. Now I understand why you decide to make ANHS semi-opened to the outside."

Manabu nod. "My vacation to Indonesia a year ago during the Summer Break and sees how the dorm school make me realize something. On there, age before seventeen years old is still not considers adult. I at first thought of it as nonsense… But seeing how Nagumo sees the others as below him to implement his idea of meritocracy, it makes me opened my views and remembers your situation. That's the reason I decide to do that in the first place. No matter how different our culture and our situations are to that country… We teenagers without a doubt need something to be balanced between these schools and the time to relax and also, our families love and attention." He explained with a smile, satisfied remembering the results of his revolution of ANHS. "I think we're out of our topics by talking about the discipline committee. Actually aside from our usual chat, I actually want to offer you something. Suzune, would you like to join the student council?" He asked.

"Eh?" Suzune didn't expect this offer at all.

On the other side of the school, more specifically inside the discipline committee room, Akutagawa is checking the formal letters of the entire Class 2-A that is bring by Asahina. Speaking of her, she also currently in the room, standing facing Akutagawa who's sitting on his desk. Akutagawa then looks up toward her, who looks wary. "Is this all?" He demanded, which Asahina only nods.

"I don't understand why you keep holding back on Class 2-A, Akutagawa." A voice speaks out. He was a lean young man, with blue eyes and long, blue messy hair which swept down in front of his eyes. He had a rough-looking and his aura speaks of rebellious image. Like most ANHS students, he wore a male student uniform and the same coat as Akutagawa but he just drapes it on his shoulders. He also had a piercing on his left ear, and wore a ring on the pinky finger of his right hand, a trait more fitting for a gang leader. "You can actually finish this quickly by just kick out that piece of shit like you did a year ago with most of his strongest underlings not exist here anymore." He reasoned with rude tone.

Asahina just look down in shame of the insult. Ever since Nagumo's downfall to Akutagawa and the discipline committee, her class has a bad views thanks to Nagumo's persistence to make his revolution come true.

"We already talk about this, Kirishima. I think we shall not talk about this again. You have your own part. Just wait for it." Akutagawa reminds him with less hostile tone. Ayato Kirishima, despite his look is the vice-leader of the discipline committee. He's from the same class as Akutagawa. "Fake Angel already becomes mad thanks to his plan of meritocracy are nothing more than a stupid thought inside his head. We only need to make him more vulnerable to strike him down. Plus… I already have my promise with her over here."

"As always… You're cruel for someone that always keeps his words." Ayato snickers.

"Akutagawa-kun." Asahina surprisingly speak up, caught the attention of Ayato and Akutagawa. "I-I beg of you… P-Please stop on harassing our class. I know it sounds illogical but… Most of them are just following Nagumo-kun orders. Even our stands in class-A… It's because of your generosity to keep your words of heed of my request back then." She tried to reason. "W-We have enough… I-I can't stand that you and the others discipline committee keep beating up Nagumo-kun and force us to write this letters.

"I already tell you back then, Asahina." Akutagawa stated after tidying the formal letters up. "It was Fake Angel fault for keep doing his idiot dream which now only a needle in the middle of a planet. Keep it in mind that I bear no grudge against your class. Not even once toward the others. I and the other four just do what we thought was right: To keep the order within this school. However, too bad that some of the students here seems not understand with words so I have no other choice but doing this." He restated the discipline committee vision while Ayato look at her with narrowed gaze.

"But our class… All of the female students are traumatized because of you. Please, can you-"

"If you don't want that from happens ever again, why don't you take the lead, Asahina?" Ayato suddenly asked. "Or maybe… You afraid you'll lose Class-A position? Heh, what a bunch of pathetic fools you are. Only using Class-A means you're a bunch of weaklings not worthy of what's about to wait on the outside." He mocked. "That's why I respect Kiryuuin more. Why don't you get out from here? Seeing that blonde freak underlings irk me."

Asahina didn't response as she looks to Akutagawa and respectfully bow. "Have a good night, Akutagawa-kun, Kirishima-kun." She said as she exiting the discipline committee room.

Akutagawa just sighed. "Have you really needed to say something like that, Kirishima?" He asked with tired tone instead of hostile one.

"I don't regret it. I only respect those who're strong and try to battle the common sense. All of the discipline committee, Fuuka Kiryuuin, and those who decided to fight back. That's the only person that worth respect for." Ayato argued.

"Don't be like that. The reason I tolerate her in the first place… Is to understand nonsensical words from someone two years ago." Akutagawa nonchalantly replied. "Asahina surely too kind for her own good… Just like him two years ago."

On the park that's located on the edge of the coastline that located inside the campus, an unexpected person is seen walking alone in the night.

Sumireko is seen walking alone to the direction of the girl's dorm. From the plastic bags she carries, she buys her monthly supplies a bit later than the others. 'So… Ryuuen-san becomes the leader with Itachi-san become his vice-leader. I think Itachi-san probably will come to me later for asking my opinion…' She thought for a moment before sighing. "Seems in the end… Class 1-C really makes me soft… However, I won't forget the reason why I'm here in the first place… Yes, to prove that I… Was the strongest compare to that masterpiece… A payback for what that man did to me…" She said to herself like some kind of mantra. 'The ideal plan for now that I need reliable eyes that I can control on my whim but whom?' She thought to herself as she caught something.

A dozen meters away, Kushida is seen walking alone heading toward the fence that separates the coastline from the park. Noticed this, Sumireko quickly fasten her pace to hide behind the pine bush and trees that located nearby as she is curious of what she's doing this late night. In preparation, she also turn on her sound recording on her phone, hoping she can get something reliable for her quests.

And like she was predicted, Kushida is seen taking a deep breath in, her hair shadowing her eyes. Suddenly, her plain expression turns feral in contrast of her happy demeanor as she suddenly kicking the railing repeatedly.

"Damn her…. Damn that bitch… Just because you're pretty and able to gain the class trust by figuring out something that just inside her stupid mind and support by that dumb hair boy and peasant-like foreigner… Do you think you're likeable, huh!?" She then kick the fence harshly that it started to rattling and shaking due to the force of her kick. Seemingly, Kushida has a good physical ability. "Hate! I really hate you, Horikita! Just die!? Annoying! So annoying!? When I think I can get the chance!? Bitch!?" She said in feral tone full of hatred as she says it.

Hidden within the bush, Sumireko smirk in the same expression when she watches Itachi match against Ryuuen. Deciding she has enough, she stops the recording and decided to come out of hiding. It's time for her to get her dog. 'Blessing truly comes unexpectedly, didn't it?' She thought as she walk toward Kushida while managing to keep her presence hidden from her, audio recording already stopped to make sure her phone won't ring and she holds it on her right hand. She then clapped in mocking fashion. "Fu fu fu. I didn't expect that the rumored angel of Class 1-D hide such a hideous form. Much fits for a feral dog don't you think?" She mocked.

Widen her eyes, Kushida turns around and see Sumireko walking toward her. Thanks to her extensive friendship that's built by her fake façade, she manages to get some rumors about her. Feeling confident of her victory to make assure her true personality will not leaked to the others, she walk in fast pace close to her and immediately manage to snatch Sumireko's phone from her right hand. "Do you hear everything?" She asked in low tone full of anger, her eyes becomes slits, unlike her usual cheerful ones.

Sumireko however returns it with a crazed smirk. "Indeed. How delightful I must say. I've heard all of it. Including your rant about the student council president younger sister. I wonder how he'll react when knowing this." She asked, she needs to maintain dominance over Kushida before striking at the precise moment.

Kushida suddenly thrown Sumireko's phone to the ground, before cracking it by stomping on it with her right foot. She then glares with murderous look toward Sumireko. "If you ever tell anyone about this, I won't forgive you…" She threatened.

"Are you in a position to threaten me? After all, you just pick an unlucky place to be ranting about your dislike where people sometimes crossing by." Sumireko simply stated with a smirk. "I decide… You'll be a fine dog for me."

"Huh? What're you-" Kushida unable to continue her speak as she suddenly feels immense pain on her stomach. It's revealed that Sumireko punch her stomach within close range. "Guu-" Kushida immediately falls to her knees while coughing saliva to the ground. Her eyes teary due to the immense pain of the punch. "Uhak!" She coughed more saliva. 'W-W-What?' She thought in shock and reflexive fear. She was certain that if not because her physique that does exercises in routine, she'll immediately falls unconscious.

"Want to hear something interesting, Kushida-san? Horikita-san will pretty certain avoid that punch based on my calculations." Sumireko said in delight as she looks down on downed Kushida. "Now… Will you listen… In order to protect your school life?" She asked while suddenly she kicks Kushida on the same spot. "It seems you'll not listen." She surmised. The force of the kick make Kushida thrown and hit her back on the iron fence, making it shaking due to the force and make her gasp and spat blood this time.

"AAAGH!" Kushida unable to get up. Her body feels aching from all the pain of the attacks. Sumireko then crouch down to look at her.

"Now let see, if you'll help me or not." Sumireko stated while grab Kushida's beige hair to force Kushida to look toward her. Sumireko smirk seeing the expression of Kushida due to her work. Gone the murderous look from moments ago. It was replaced by her threatening to cry and bit her lip to hold the tears. "That's the expression I was looking for. Truly fitting for my dog."

"P-P-Please… Stop…" Kushida utter as she can't find strength to speak loudly. Her tone also sounds fragile and afraid.

"Sadly, let's talk about this in a more appropriate place. Tomorrow is Sunday so we have enough time." Sumireko simply said as she picks up something from her pockets: a small perfume sprayer. She then sprays it to Kushida's face, which is revealed to be a sedative liquid. "This school probably won't allow something like sedative but I found many herbs in this school parks that come in handy to make some. Goodnight, Kushida-san." She bids her goodbye.

Kushida feels her eye become heavy as sleepiness overtakes her. Before falls to deep slumber, she manages to make one last thought.

'H-Help… Me…'

Morning arrives as the seventh day of April begins. Since it was Sunday, most students enjoy their holiday. Either rest on their dorm rooms or goes to Keyaki Mall.

For Itachi, he's resting on his room. The match against Ryuuen four days ago still leaves him with some injuries although for him it's really not a problem. He currently scribing on his notes about the various theories that he has on his head about the school true nature. So far, he still reach dead end but manage to conclude one thing crucial.

This first month, he doesn't know why but it has a nostalgia vibes of Forest of Death Exam back on his old world. Which means, the first years, much like Chuunin candidate, is secretly observes by the school. This also led him to conclude one other thing.

'True to what Kakeru said… We won't get 100,000 points next month.' Itachi thought to himself as his door is knocked by someone. "Please wait. I'll open it." Itachi said to whoever is outside as he stands up from his desk toward the door. When he opens it, he found an unexpected person waiting.

Shiho is seen wearing some expensive dress that without a doubt was bought from the Keyaki Mall. She also wears sleeveless, yellow jacket.

"Shiho… For what reason you come here? I thought you probably join the other girls." Itachi quickly points out. He observes that after his match against Ryuuen, Shiho start to socialize with other girls on the class. She manages to repair her relationship with Mio and Rika and currently have positive views inside the class.

"I'm still not too close with all of them although Saki-chan really intrigues me a little. Mio-chan heads only filled with physical activities so I pass. Because of that, that leaves me with you as the possible partner to fill my Sunday with color." She said with a little smile. "Don't you think so, my former student?"

Shiho then sit on Itachi's bed as Itachi is on the kitchen preparing their drinks.

"What do you want for a drink, Shiho?" Itachi asked from the kitchen.

"Just like usual, an ice tea." Shiho replied as she scans through Itachi's room. 'Even with the private points, his room is not too showy for me.' She thought before seeing Itachi's scrambled notes on the desk. "Seems you really work hard… To finish Dazai-sensei's game." She points out.

"Despite how it looks. Dazai-sensei actually gives us a chance. If we manage to find out the true nature about this school, we surely one step ahead from the other classes. Also, if we really is the third rank in term of hierarchy… We need to make sure we prove our placement in Class 1-C is wrong." Itachi said as he walks from the kitchen and put the drinks on his desk. "Speaking of private points, you do as Kakeru said right?" He reminds her of Ryuuen's order to the class to at least spare 25,000 private points for this month.

Shiho nod. "I still have 44,000 private points remaining. I know I sound very wasteful with the private points but… I think it's my fault to bear." She said sheepishly. "Itachi-kun… I actually want to say something." She then looks at Itachi seriously before bow her head. "I'm sorry… For keep avoiding you, Mio-chan, Rika-chan, and the class. Hiyori-chan told me when I accompany her, about how worried the three of you because of me." She said feel at fault with her actions.

"It's all right. However, I actually glad of one thing." Itachi then sit beside her as he later pokes her forehead with a small flick. "I'm glad that you still the old Shiho the three of us know." He said with a small smile.

"Itachi-kun!" Shiho touch her forehead in pain.

"However… I know this is sounds not polite since I try to invade your personal space… But what happen to you during the three years before we attend ANHS? All of us unable to contact you at all. Mio and Akito are worried when you're not arrived on the tournament stands. Judging from what I observe… You seems feel guilty to us about something." Itachi points out.

"Of course I did feel guilty." Shiho immediately said as she touch her left arm and clench it. "After all… I promise that I'll be watching you when you reach the semi-final. Yet… I broke our promise…" She said. 'Because of that incident. Even though I already move on from it… It still hurts.' She thought, since she thinks Itachi and the others have no need to know about the horrifying incident that cause her parent death.

"Why'd you feel guilty?" Itachi asked the obvious thing. "Let me said one thing to you Shiho. None of us ever resent you for not being able to come. You're still our close friends no matter what." Itachi said as he glances at something on her hair. "My gift… You still wear it…"

"I thought you will not realize it." Shiho commented before smiled warmly. "It's the first gift I received from the first male friend of mine… I'll treasure it no matter what. Also, I'm glad as well. For all the years we haven't met, you still the same, plain guy~."

"I see." Itachi said only that before something entering his mind. "Shiho, want to go for a walk? I really want to relax myself for a while from this investigation."

"I don't mind. I also want to introduce you to someone." Shiho immediately agree with a smile. 'Dazai-sensei… Thank you so much. If not for you… I probably won't have the courage to admit my wrong in thinking and mend my relationships with my friends.' She thought in gratitude for her suicidal homeroom teacher. 'However… Why it seems you know much about my incident? Do you perhaps… Know who's killing my parents?'

The time then skips to the shopping district inside Keyaki Mall, where Shiho lead Itachi on a walk. The former is happy that Shiho still manage to maintain her smile. The news of her parent's death actually already reaches him not long ago but he decides not to bring it up to respect her.

"There she is! Kozue!" Shiho called Kozue, who is eating ice cream on one of the bench on the mall.

Kozue immediately look toward Shiho. "Here! Shiho!" She returns the greeting.

'If I not wrong, she's from Honami and Ryuuji's class. I didn't expect Shiho makes friends with other classes instead.' Itachi thought after seeing Kozue waving her right hand at them.

"My name is Kozue Minamikata! Nice to meet the one that Honami-chan fondly speaks of!" Kozue introduced herself in her usual, kind tone.

"Kozue here is more than a friend of mine. I actually lived with her for three years and in return… I see her like my sister." Shiho said with a smile about Kozue. "Although don't speak about-"

"Your hairstyle… It reminds me of a classic cartoon Kokoro's watch when she plays to our house years ago." Itachi quickly points out without any care, cutting Shiho's warning.

Kozue immediately puff her cheek in anger before huff. "Humph. I expect the one that Shiho talks about everyday will be sociable like Shibata-kun! Why'd everyone always commenting about my hairstyle!?" She fumed.

"Kozue… Itachi-kun just dense." Shiho said before snickered. "And here I'm really disappointed as your sensei~"

"Um… Sorry if my comment bothers you a bit. It just… reminds me of that show Kokoro likes to watch so I reflexively comment about it." Itachi apologize humbly. "However, I see that Honami really make friends quickly huh?"

Like forgetting about Itachi's comment moments ago, Kozue nod in happiness. "Honami-chan and Kanzaki-kun manages to unite our class from the first day. You can say that our class right now manages to get along with everyone!" She happily said.

"Hn. Well, Honami really the type that get along quickly with everyone. I know her long enough after all." Itachi said with a smile. 'Still… Hearing about it, Hiyori probably more happy if she's placed on Honami's class.' He thought.

"Forget about that! Shiho said she want to invite one of her childhood friends to walk together with us! Nice to know you, Itachi-kun!" Kozue quickly dismiss her previous fuming as she looks toward Itachi.

For the trip on Keyaki Mall, it's revealed that Itachi just follow Shiho and Kozue to wherever they go. From the clothes store, makeup, to the market. Currently, they are on the market buying some supplies for their dorm. Luckily, Itachi also thought the same and he also bought some stuff for his own.

'Although I think it's just the two of us, I'm glad that despite lost contact with me and the others for three years… Shiho is still able to smile like that.' Itachi thought in happiness as he looks toward Shiho and Kozue that happily chatting with each other. Based from his observation, Shiho just want to ask him to come along instead of go out with him.

Deep inside he's glad, since he's not ready yet for a date. Remembering his date with Izumi back then make him realize that he need to knows how girls act more than he usually are. 'I think I must thank Kozue after this. After all, she's the one that take care of Shiho when we can't do that.' Itachi thought as he accompanies both of them.

Right on 06.00 p.m., their trip on the Keyaki Mall is finally done. Right now, the three of them is on the park ready to return to their own dorm room.

"Itachi-kun, thank you for accompany me and Kozue today. I know it looks like I just tag you along but-" Shiho try to apologize before Itachi cut her off.

"There's no need for you to apologize, Shiho. I'm glad, because it's been three years since both of us can walk together like this." Itachi said with a smile before look toward Kozue. "Kozue, I know it may be too late to say this just now but I want to thank you. Thank you for accompany Shiho for three years when her friends can't do it. If you ever need help, I'll gladly repay it." He thanked the Minnie mouse-haired girl.

"No need to thank me Itachi-kun! If you want to thank you, you shall say it to Mama." Kozue kindly replied. This make Itachi glad since he knows the one that adopt Shiho is a kind family.

"When the summer vacation arrives, why don't we go to Saitama? I'm pretty sure Mama wouldn't mind if my friends come." Shiho offered. "You can ask Mio-chan and the others to come as well."

Itachi nod. "All right. But I won't promise that I can."

Shiho giggling. " He he he. As I expected of my former student." She said. "Bye bye! Itachi-kun! I promise I won't be late to the class tomorrow!"

"Thanks again for accompany both of us!" Kozue also bids her goodbye as she along with Shiho walk to the female dorms location.

'I also need to return to finish my conclusion. From what planned by Ryuuen, we'll finish Dazai-sensei game tomorrow. I need to work quickly in order to not let him down.' Itachi thought as he also walks back to his own dorm before glanced at Shiho's one last time. 'Still… Despite the clear sadness that still shown in your eyes… I'm glad to know you're on the right hands, Shiho.' He thought in relief.

Meanwhile on one of the female student dorm room, a certain beige hair was tied up on a chair. Her eyes only look down in defeat as it looks empty, only resigned her fate to the one that cause her to ends up on this situation in the first place. There are some sign of bruises on her face and limbs and from the looks of her school uniform, she still not change her clothes.

"Considers your current state, I prepare a tea recipe that will lessen the pain in your muscle." Sumireko said as she place the tea on her desk before sitting on her bed facing Kushida who look toward her with hollow look in her eyes. For the entire day, Sumireko deploys various unspeakable methods for someone her age that manage to make Kushida lose her aggressive nature yesterday, knowing that she can't get away from her grasp anymore. "Now then let's make a civilized talk once again. Kushida-san, I want your assistance for my own desire. Become my eyes for Class 1-D."

Kushida didn't reply much. "I… D-Don't…"

Sumireko sighed. "If you not want to help me, I can just say that you're-"

"PLEASE DON'T!?" Kushida suddenly yelled. "I'LL DO ANYTHING!? PLEASE DON'T-"

"In the end, you bark like a dog. Honestly Kushida-san, you really disappoint me. Now I think Ryuuen-san and Itachi-san theory have some truth." Sumireko said. "Kushida-san… You're weak. You know why? Because all of you wanting is some hollow, formal recognition from worker bee when you can be queen bee herself. Instead of become strong enough on your own, you chasing something so useless like that." She criticized her way of thinking.

"Y-You… Don't know-Aah!" Kushida only manage to utter as Sumireko grabs her hair again.

"Still… Despite I manage to break you like this, you still have the will to resist. I wonder… Why'd you want recognition from a mass of people so much? To be honest, I can't understand. Normally, people try to search for recognition from someone they look up to but you're complete enigma to me." Sumireko wondered while grabbing Kushida's hair before an idea cross her face. "Now that it comes to this, I wonder how you would feel when I plan to threaten something precious to you." She said in sinister tone making Kushida a bit afraid.

Kushida widen her eyes hearing it. "No! No please don't do that!" She screamed in desperation. "Please! I do what you want! But don't do that please!"

Hearing it, Sumireko close her eyes and smiled. "I see. Now I'm glad we come to an understanding. Now then, I'll tell you what you shall do." She said as she said something to Kushida.

April 8th finally arrives. The scene is currently on Class 1-C where surprisingly all of the students already gathered, for Ryuuen seems wanting to announce something. As both Ryuuen and Itachi already rise up to the podium, the former pound the podium with his right fist.

"Before I begin the main topic, I want to thank some of you for managing to maintain your private points to at least 25,000 left. Some of you that waste their private points however… Really need some chat with both of us after the learning hour. The main topic for today is that I alongside Itachi and Hiyori manage to make a proper theory of this school true nature and for that, I have a grand plan that you'll not expect. But I'll save it till' the next month." Ryuuen announced his statement. "For now, let's finish this stupid game once and for all."

After the learning hour is ended, Dazai tidying up his belongings before speak up. "All right my dear students~. For now, there will be no questions of everyday, but it seems that all of you manage to grasp the true nature of the school in just eight days. Quite an achievement I must say and as I expected from all of you. Now then, I give the chance to make your theory to just three of you." Dazai said after compliment his class. Everything really goes as he predicted.

Itachi raise his hand. "Dazai-sensei. For the three people, we actually manage to make our separate theories about it and in turn, we like completing each other explanation. Is that okay with you?" Itachi asked which earn nods from Dazai. "All right then. I'll begin with my theory first. On the first day, I stated that the government is absurd because they choose to pay us rather than use the money for those that truly need it. However, after analyzing some variables, I conclude this… Our class stands is determined by merits and our behavior. If we equalize it with the outside world, it's like the government testing us with the 100,000 private points as our salary. So what happens if our behavior is not like what they expected? Our salary will of course decrease as well. And for that, I make a conclusion that we are not going to receive the same amount of points for the next month or maybe for the next three years, our salary will experience increase and decrease. For this theory of mine, are there some faults?" He asked.

Hearing it, Dazai snickered before smiled and clapped. "As expected of Itachi-kun~ Yeah. That theory of yours is true~." Dazai compliment him before becoming serious. "However, you let one crucial thing slip, Itachi-kun. But I'll appreciate you for finding out one aspect of the true nature of the school. Who's next?" Dazai asked.

'One crucial aspect? What is it?' Itachi thought in confusion about what Dazai meant. He is certain to dig up all he can and split it fairly with Ryuuen and Hiyori.

Ryuuen then raise his hand. "Sensei… Before I stated my theory to complete the one that Itachi just said, I want to know something. The security cameras in our class. I realize that till' now, it was on but not when you entering the class. I watch it carefully that each time you enter the class, the security cameras inside immediately turn off and in just a few seconds after you exiting the class, it turns on. However when other teachers are entering our class, the same thing doesn't happened. So tell us sensei, did you turn off the security cameras on purpose?" He asked.

"That's true though." Dazai simply stated, seeing the sharpness of his student. "I asked the school staff of the security room to turn off the security cameras on all of the first year class every time I was inside. However, this question of yours doesn't have any connection to the game Ryuuen-kun. What about you speak up about your theories to complete one that Itachi-kun said before?"

'What the fuck!? You tell me that you keep watching all of us by using your own eyes!? That is impossible!? There are 160 students of the 1st year!? There's no way he can memorize all of them that easily!?' Mio thought in total disbelief after hearing it. She can say for sure that even Itachi doesn't hold candle against him.

'Damn! So he's a monster that hides behind his happy-going façade! However… I'm glad that our homeroom teacher is not boring as hell! Ku ku ku.' Ryuuen thought in delight after knowing the fact that Dazai is simply genius. "Very well then. I'll amuse you with what I got so far, Dazai-sensei. Itachi maybe the one that theorize that we won't get 100,000 private points next month, however the question is how can the school monitor us every day to determine this? The reason is simple, security cameras. I alongside the others already monitored the entire school and thus we found out that most of the area of this school has one except for some secluded spot."

"And I also make calculations about the connections of the class and private points." Ryuuen then glanced to Hiyori. "Hiyori alongside Itachi and Kaneda help me for three days to decipher this. And I reach two conclusions even though one of them is still a hypothesis. Conclusion number one, our placement in Class 1-C or rather Class-C is not like the normal high school where there's no difference between class hierarchies. Our placement in this class based on our merits and personality. And from the school evaluation of our entrance tests, it seems all of us in here placed as an almost defective class among the four. And that is connecting in my hypothesis or the second conclusion… That there's some system in the class that manage this private points of ours. That's all that I find so far." Ryuuen concluded his explanation that completing the one that Itachi just said.

Dazai silent for a moment before smiled. "That some deep explanation, Ryuuen-kun. However, you and Itachi-kun still haven't touched the most crucial thing yet although thanks to your explanation, we're getting closer to the true answer of this game. For the last one that brave enough to answer please-" Dazai stopped as Hiyori raise her hand. "Yes Hiyori-chan?"

"I don't know if my answer can close what Ryuuen-kun and Itachi-kun explained but I also work hard to decipher much evidence that both of them gather so here I go." Hiyori take a deep breath first before beginning to speak. "Based on what Ryuuen-kun and Itachi-kun just explained, the crucial thing that we can take in is that about our placement and a system that manage our private points. First off, I don't think the school put our placement inside this school only by using entrance exams. No, in fact they never use entrance exams to do that. In the outside world and from the many books that I read, there's a scouting method when an office search for people that they think have potential. Because of it, I theorized that the school secretly monitors us during our middle grade using hidden people or sorts and that's determining our placement since for an unfair reason, the school knows something probably private about all of us." Hiyori theorized while unconsciously clench her right hand on her desk. For her that always respects people's privacy, knowing this method really makes her feel unwell even though she only theorizes it. "Before I continue, does this theory of mine is true, Dazai-sensei?" She asked.

Dazai stupefied for a while before smiled. 'As I expected. Among the three, Hiyori-chan really the ones that have the best deduction. I can bet a certain super detective will like chatting with her.' He thought in fondness of the hidden potential Hiyori have before replying. "For the all of the answers, I must say you have a good deduction Hiyori-chan. You manage to discover something that should be forbidden for a student to know."

"Then-" Hiyori gasp a bit knowing that she unknowingly explain a forbidden information right in front of the homeroom teacher.

"However, I will keep my mouth shut about it. This proves that my class has a diamond that can be polish to become brighter." Dazai smiled to himself before look toward Hiyori again. "Then, what is your second conclusion?" He asked.

"My second conclusion is about how the school manages our private points. Based on what I conclude so far, it's true that we won't get 100,000 private points next month or maybe for the next three years. For a moment, I also meet dead end before discovering a news from a newspaper make by the newspaper club four years ago or when ANHS still closing itself from the outside. I read the news about that year Class-B that falls to Class-D because the reduction of a class points. I then try my best to find the meaning of it by keep reading the news till' I was found this number. One of the students has private points of 25,500 when I see on that news that their class points were reduced from 500 to 300. Therefore, I conclude that class points are the way school evaluates us despite placing all of us in the class that they deem fit and 1 class points equal to 10 private points. If the class point is raise then they'll take over the class with the least total of class points. Is that right?" Hiyori immediately concluded her answers.

Silence happens for a moment, before Dazai do something unexpected. He's laughing. "Khu khu khu… Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Interesting… Very interesting indeed! I already calculate it but I never expect this! Sasuga Hiyori-chan!" He laughed before smiling toward the class. "Seriously… I never thought that all of you manage to decipher everything this fast. We're still on the eight day you know. Really… My decision to choose this class… Wasn't a mistake." He praised them.

'He becomes genuine again.' Itachi observed Dazai's behavior the best as he can. 'But based on his expression, I think Hiyori also miss something… Or it just my feelings?'

"Itachi-kun. Ryuuen-kun. Hiyori-chan. All of your answers if merge into one… Is correct!?" Dazai spread his arm comically before cross his arm on his seat and become serious again. "However… There's one end goal of this school that all of you failed to guess. In fact, that end goal is what makes this school so toxic. If I not wrong, Saki-chan during the swimming lesson said that ANHS sounds like Kidzania right? Where's Saki-chan by the way?"

'Again. How could he know that? Is there someone that-No. It's impossible. That detail is unimportant for me. It was just nonsense speculation by Yamashita. So how could he…' Ryuuen thought in confusion.

"Here sensei!?" Saki immediately raises her hand.

"For what reason that you said that ANHS sounds like Kidzania?" Dazai asked in playful tone since he knows that Saki is a chunnibyou so he hopes it will brings comfort for her to talk this way.

"It simple sensei. I just use Almighty to see into the future and based on it, I have to say that this school sounds like Kidzania!?" Saki happily replies which cause some of the students comically crack at her stupidity.

Yabu just sighed at her friend antics. She already know Saki that much to expect that kind of answer. But she decides to help anyway. "Dazai-sensei. "I see. Thank you very much Yabu-chan~" Dazai thanked her in playful tone before speak up. "Even it just a fantasy… Saki-chan explanation actually has connection with the endgame of this school. You see my dear students…. It was said this school boasts 100 percent employment rate and college entrance for its graduate right? It was a lie." Dazai revealed.

'Makes sense. I already predict it. If ANHS graduate really do something like that, the other regular high school graduate will be hard to find a job. In other words, the condition to receiving those results must be given to a certain person or a group.' Itachi concludes since he already has this theory when he read the news about ANHS on his middle grade days.

'I see Itachi-kun have a guess of it before he attends the school. But compare to Ryuuen-kun and Hiyori-chan… His observation is poor compare to the time on battle against Ryuuen-kun.' Dazai analyzed Itachi as he continues to speak. "The truth is… The ANHS only allows a certain group of people that gets the promises on the newspapers. Makes sense am I right? Since that's how the real world works. Nothing is free. For the group that will receive that prize… Is Class 1-A or A-Class to make it simple." He said firmly which got shocked response from his class.

'Now I see. It's great how the government manage to cover this.' Itachi thought as he clenches his fist in frustration remembering Sudou's harassment on the third day. 'This situation reminds me when I was accused of murdering Shisui! No wonder the outside world have many corrupt people! They're making those that still mostly act on emotions… To become selfish and care only about themselves. This school… Is the perfect example of that horrid training ground! It makes them not realizing something because of this nonsense.'

Mio look at Itachi with concern. Due to knowing of his past, she realized that if this school system is the truth, it's a system that Itachi hate the most. 'If that's true then-' She then remembers Itachi's words years ago.

"Remember this clearly. Although you see me as someone above you, never think of me as a perfect being because there's no one perfect in this world. Instead, you must look for yourself what I can't find in me."– Prologue – A Whole New World

'Itachi's right. I won't be swallowed by the school that lies to us that easily.' Mio thought to ease herself. However, most of the students are not like that.

"What!?" Tokito said as he stands up from his seat in surprise. "I've never know this!? You mean that when we not manage to reach Class 1-A, we're doomed? This school is nothing more than a scam!"

"I agree Dazai-sensei! Do you mean that we won't get anything at all if we're not Class-A!?" Ishizaki demanded.

"Fu fu fu fu." Sumireko just laughed hearing it. After all, she doesn't care at all about it. All she needs now is just bid her time. 'Keep barking like the dog you are. After I fulfill my own goal. I being expelled from here don't concern me at all.'

"Impossible! How could the school dare to lie to us like this!?" Minori Kinoshita said as she trembling on her seat. Minori in appearance resembles Makoto but she's shorter, have black hair instead of brown, grey eyes, and a bit tanned skin. "My father and mother… They have great hopes for me when I manage to attend this school… What I must say to them… When I know this revelation…" She said as she crying in silence.

With just one revelation. The entire Class 1-C atmosphere turns sour. That's when Dazai smirk in a bit mocking tone. "Seriously. Did some of you just not get the big picture?" He asked with demanding tone before sighed. "If that so, I'll leave the class and let all of you decide. However, let me tell you one thing in importance." Dazai said as he stands up and looks at them with narrowed glance. "It's best that all of you never swallowed by the toxicity of this stupid school. If you want to survive against a group of fallen angels that is. Trust me this as a proper sensei… What you'll experience inside this school… Is nothing compare to the horror to come." He said as he exiting the classroom.

After Dazai exiting the classroom, Itachi just sighed as he stands up from his seat and walk toward the podium. This cause confusion even from Ryuuen and Hiyori. What's he plan to do when the class is in turmoil?

For Ryuuen, the old him will immediately utilize a dictatorship by violence on his delusional past self but he won't do that now when most of the class genuinely supports him as the class leader through fair face-off. And for that, he also stands up from his seat to catch up to Itachi. "Itachi. You seem angry about something." Ryuuen points out as he knows when Itachi is pissed of.

Itachi didn't reply for a moment. "Indeed. I'm angry. Angry about how low this school nature really is." He plainly said as he reaches the podium. When he reach the podium, he doing something rather unexpected due to anger. He pounds it in the same manner as Ryuuen but it cause cracks on it due to his strength. "I will replay what Dazai-sensei said. Did some of you really not see the big picture?" He demanded in low tone.

'Itachi's angry. I knew it! That revelation and some of the students complaint back then angers him as it looks like the time when he was accused!' Mio thought.

'I-I never see I-Itachi-san becomes like this…' Rika thought in fear although she knows Itachi is not angry toward her.

'Itachi-kun… This is not like you…' Shiho thought since she never sees Itachi this angry before. For her, Itachi was a kind soul and she never sees him like this before.

'It's like the same when on the tournament huh…' Fudou mused to himself, remembering Itachi's anger to Kouenji after mocking Suzune.

Ryuuen was about to say something before Itachi look toward him with a nod, signaling him to stay accompany him on the podium before look toward the class once again. "I'm sad for this class. For all that I already considers as friends… If you unable to see something more important than 'Class A'. That word is toxicity like Dazai-sensei said. Venom that manages to make some of you becomes stressed while forgetting something." He said before Tokito cut him off.

"But you heard what Dazai-sensei just said, Itachi!? Only A-Class that'll get that 100 percent guarantee. The rest will get nothing!" Tokito argued. Why'd he decided to play philosophical talk right now when the majority of the class is still taken aback by the revelation!?

"That's right Itachi-san! It feels like we're being scammed!" Ishizaki followed. "I attend this school in hope that I'll graduate to make my parents proud for being able to be accepted in the best university… Not being scammed like this!"

Hearing Ishizaki's comment make Itachi's anger a bit softened although not completely vanish. Seems that some of his classmate really try their best to be able to attend this school in hope for something pure like that. "I see. Then let me ask all of you this. Did A-Class position really that important? 'A-Class, 'A-Class… I know that all of you currently keep replaying that word in your mind. A pathetic promise that enslaves all of you and makes us unable to sees something more than that. Now I know the reason why the government even built something like this… Because they themselves built their future generation to be sociopath: only care about themselves and prioritizing winning over everything." He stated with disgust about how the Japanese government sounds more and more like the Uchiha for know how long. The more he remember it, the more he feel himself like a fool for ever obeying Danzo in the first place.

'Itachi-kun says the truth, though.' Hiyori pondered. She's not angry with what Itachi just said but manage to get its meaning. 'As humans, we sometimes just follow the flow of our environment. That's what ANHS doing. To make sure that the future generations able to lead Japan through this competitive and deceitful environment.' She thought while remembering kind people from other classes like Suzune, Atsushi, Kokoro, Honami, Masumi, and the others. 'I really don't want to sees them as enemies. I don't want to…'

"Tell me all of you; do you honestly want to become a sociopath just because some damn propaganda that evens us still doesn't know the whole truth? Do all of you really think that become something like that is what you parent wish when they nurturing you till' now?" Itachi demanded. With just silence greets him, Itachi just sighed. "I see. It seems-"

"Of course not!" Itachi widen his eye in surprise immediately as the one that say that is surprisingly Shiho who stand up from her seat. "Of course I don't want to become something like that! If I becoming something like that just makes my parent sad… Then I rather not reach A-Class at all!"

"I also agree!" Mio then follows before stand up from her seat. "If you really swallow by this school propaganda… All of you're really stupid! Someone say to me that a person must see something inside them that the other person can't! So what if we don't reach A-Class!? We have our own talents that we discover since we're children and we only need to accept it! What's so hard of accepting that!?"

"Not everyone have talent. I know that better than most…." Tokitou said to himself as he clenched his fist. "The hard truth is… Not all of our talent is useful in society…"

"I understand that most of you thinking that not everyone have talent they can be proud of for the society. Our talents can be positive or negative that will certainly impact the society." Itachi reasoned. "However, please never lose sight of what's going to happen if you keep that A-Class mantra inside your head. People say that true change can never happens when you're bounds by regulations and restrictions. If I continue this conversation, I without a doubt a hypocrite since I advising many person to not stay stand in their comfort zone. Because of that, let me become hypocrite for this one moment." Itachi stated before continuing his speech. "Instead of being destroyed both time, energy, and mentally to reach the so-called A-Class when we don't even know the truth of it… We'll show the school that even if we not graduate as A-Class, we're able to become someone that is useful to society. Under Kakeru's lead that support by me, I'll make a class where you can exploit your talents to the fullest. For that." Itachi then goes to the side of the podium before doing another unexpected thing. He's doing a dogeza, putting both of his hands on the floor and bowed his head. "Please… This dream of mine will never happen if all of you don't support me. Because of it… Please lend me all of your power and support for the next three years to come."

"Oi. You don't need to do that." Ryuuen said immediately as he tries to make Itachi stand but he won't budge at all.

This act of him though manage to silence the class, as they unable to comprehend that Itachi really want the best for them to the point of doing something that can be considers as embarrassment to himself.

After some moments, someone finally have the courage to speak up. "Itachi-san." Itachi rise up his head and still seat on the floor to see Minori is the one that called him. "If what you say is true… Can I still graduate from this school and makes my parent proud for the school I attending?" She asked in hopeful tone, wanting to place her hope after Itachi's action.

"I won't make any promise since it sometimes ends up broken." Itachi immediately replied before smiling slightly. "However if the reason is for something like that… I'll gladly help."

Minori gasp hearing it before smiled. "I see. Knowing you… I'm glad for a moment. Thank you." She thanked.

"You welcome." He replied.

Tokito was amazed by what he saw. 'Itachi… You… Care for all of us in this class that far to even doing something like that?' He thought in amazement as he slightly smiled. 'It seems… Choose to support Ryuuen and you decision back then… Was not a mistake.'

'Itachi-kun… You're truly…' Shiho thought in happiness as she knows Itachi is a good person without a doubt.

Hiyori smiled. 'You're really a kind person Itachi-kun. I only hope to be able to do just like you did now.'

"That's admirable act for me." Albert commented in his usual tone.

'Itachi-san… For someone with the strength such as yours… I wonder your benefit of wanting to befriend others that below you?' Sumireko wondered but respect Itachi's act nonetheless.

'Huh. With your act you only makes me respect you more, my rival.' Ryuuen thought in respect. "Itachi. Enough of that act and stands up. My sub-leader shouldn't do that in the first place." Ryuuen said to him.

"I know." Itachi said as he stands up from his position. "All of you… I thank you, for honoring this hypocrite act of mine." He thanked once again with a smile, hoping that by doing this, he is doing something right.

It was later revealed just like in the first day, Dazai listen the entire ordeal from outside the class. "As I predict, Itachi-kun manages to put down the tension of the class. I hope with this, the class can move forward to escape the venomous environment of this school. I'm glad that Akutagawa-kun manages to put Nagumo-kun revolution to a complete destruction but knowing that rat, he must be put a spy inside this school." He mused to himself. "Well… Before worrying about that rat, a certain person must be put down first. Let's return to the teacher room. Sae-chan wants to talk to me about something… I wonder if she'll ask me to do double suicide together this time~." He said to himself as he leaves the scene.

After that, time quickly pass on as it was currently May 1st, the time when they should be receiving their monthly private points.

Inside Class 1-C, Ryuuen is seen discussing with Itachi. "So… How much private points that you've got?" He asked.

"I've manage to keep 40,000 private points and it was increased to 102,000 private points or in other words, it was increased by 62,000 private points. Our theories are right off the bat." He said with a smile.

"Ku Ku Ku. Now we only need the explanation about the class point. Let's wait till' Dazai-sensei arrives to the class." Ryuuen said with a smirk.

"Itachi-kun." Hiyori walk toward his seat, called him. "It seems what you said is true. Thanks to our explanation, the class not as panicked as we expected. I also already calculate our numbers of class point like Ryuuen-kun ordered me." She said. "Also for this day… Can you accompany me to the library?" She asked.

"Of course." Itachi agreed since he also not has anything to do after the learning hour is ended. "Should I ask Suzune and Atsushi to come along?"

"Of course. I'm happy if I have another friend with the same hobby." Hiyori agreed while smiled kindly.

"Hey, let me follow as well." Shiho suddenly joined in. After occasionally accompany Hiyori for three weeks, she found the bookworm to be not boring to be friend with if you can take on her blabbering of books sometimes. "May I ask both Mio-chan and Yabu-chan to come as well?" She asked.

Hearing it make Hiyori smiled even wider. "All right. See you in the library as well, Shiho-san." Hiyori said to her as she returns to her seat.

"Ku Ku Ku. Seems you have two women fall in heels for you." Ryuuen teased.

"Hn. It probably is." Itachi uttered to himself as the slide door to the class suddenly swing opens wildly, revealing a scene that they shouldn't know should be laughing or take pity.

As Dazai is seen wildly laughing to himself, his eyes bulging out as he looks completely insane. After putting the books on the teacher podium, he then grins wildly. "AAAAAAHHHHH~!? Hello my dear students!? It's emergency!" He then points towards the ceiling in a strange manner. "Look at this!?" He said in crazed tone.

"Um… Look at the ceiling?" Ishizaki dumbly asked which earns comical glare from the others, making him look in confusion while oblivious at his own dumb question. "Why're you looking at me like that?" He asked.

Albert and Itachi just shook his head in disappointment.

'C'mon! Not again!' Mio thought in annoyance.

'All right… This looks crazy.' Shiho noted plainly in her thought.

"Okay sensei. What the fuck is happen to you? On a high perhaps?" Ryuuen rudely asked.

"No Ryuuen-kun! Its right here you damn fool!?" Dazai shout in crazed tone while he keeps pointing toward the ceiling and jumps to the podium.

"Ku ku ku. The only thing I see right now is your stupid face." Ryuuen mocks him as he doubt his conscious is on the right route now to comprehend his reply.

"A ha ha ha ha ha!? I've finally reach it!? No need to ask the rude female to do double suicide!? I reach the afterlife! Here I come, Yomotsuhirasaka!? Is exactly like I imagined! Blue smokes trailing along the ground! Moonlight dashing against the windows! And pink elephants dancing in the western sky!?" Dazai keep said in crazed tone and pose.

"Hm?" Among the commotion, Hiyori notices a book that's dropped on the floor. Gently, she rise from her seat and took the book and sees it was marked. She then sees the title before widen her eyes in surprise as her eyes turn to dead look and lose its light.

Like realizing Hiyori takes his book, Dazai keeps talking nonsense. "Feel free to read it Hiyori-chan!? That book was a masterpiece!? Who knew I just need to eat the mushroom found close to the school entrance to have such an entertaining way out?! A ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!?" He said while laughing crazily.

"Everyone." Hiyori suddenly walk to the center of the class and shows to them the book with dead look in her eyes, meaning her patience is running out. "This is the main source of it." She said as it shows the book title: the Complete Guide to Suicide. This earns face fault from the class.

"WHAT THE HELL!?"

'H-H-He's terrifying…' Rika thought while comically shivers.

'What kind of person read something like that!?' Tokito thought in guard.

"Woah… Dazai-sensei must be immortal! Reading that book like some black wizard and yet-Mmmmm~" Saki whining around before stopped by Yabu.

"Stop it Saki-chan! This is no time for your rambling!" Yabu said while closing Saki's mouth with her hands to stop her from talking. But this is getting Dazai's attention.

"Oh… I see…. Here I come my cute pairs of rainbow pill bugs!" Dazai crazily said as he jumps out from the podium like a lion toward his helpless prey or Saki and Yabu. "Let's cook both of you back at home!?"

"KYAAAAAAAA!?" Both Yabu and Saki immediately screamed in fear as they hug each other. However, someone come to their rescue, as Mio immediately jumps from her seat and delivering aerial spinning kick toward Dazai's face.

"Gueeeeh!?" Dazai thrown by the force of the kick as his head hit the teacher podium before he comically spins around all fall to the floor back first. His eyes are also comically swirls. "G..Gaagh…"

"Aah! At last I manage to kick his stupid face!" Mio said as she feels her stress is lift up. "You don't mind didn't you Itachi?" She asked her adoptive brother who then look at her from his seat with plain look.

"No." He said in agreement.

"Mio-chan if you want I can help you kick his ass though." Makoto said in disappointment. Dazai's antics also annoy her in the same way as Mio.

"All right. I'll ask you to do the same later." Mio said in agreement.

"Thank you Mio-san. Now then." Hiyori said with dead look in her eyes still exist as she viciously rips the book in half. After cleaning her hands, she then closes her eyes and smiling. "All of you didn't see anything, right?" She asked in kind, but dangerous tone.

"All right." The entire Class 1-C said in unison.

'She is angry.' Itachi thought as he never expected someone like her can be truly angry like that.

And thus… The day where the S-System should be explained to the Class 1-C, ends up to be free day as Dazai later was taken to the infirmary to rest for one day due to his craziness of eating a mushroom that cause crazed hallucinations.

Author Notes

LOL! It was the first time that I close a chapter with such stupid scene! Sadly like I said… Because of Dazai's mushroom scene, the explanation of the S-System although in brief because most already done in this chapter will be revealed on the next chapter.

All of you probably notice that I skip the mock test that should be happen a week before the S-System reveal. Well… The thing is I plan to put it on the next chapter as well which will be the last chapter of Volume 1.

However, I'll tease all of you about the standing of the Class Point currently. Here it goes:

Class 1-A : 890 CP

Class 1-B : 702 CP

Class 1-C : 620 CP

Class 1-D : 300 CP
