Season 1 Episode 21 (SEASON FINALE)
A Miracle
-Welcome to the fanfiction world of Sonic the hedgehog. A world unique and far different from what you know from the SEGA games and official publications. Where our focus is on a two-tailed fox named Miles "Tails" Prower.-
Everyone looked as the young red haired female chipmunk transformed into a monstrosity. Covered in molten rock with a lone green eye in the center of her forehead accompanied with glowing eyes, Sally's appearance has changed drastically. As the thunder crackled through the skies it began to rain. Tension was in the air as everyone looked at the monster and what was to happen next.
Sasha and her crew kept documenting, Sonic and Knuckles got ready just in case something will go down while their friends focused on Sally, Blaze and Chaos' fight has officially came to a complete stop thanks to this turn of events, while Eggman looked with his jaw dropping to the ground.
- The Acorn's Residence -
In the large living room was Alicia, Tuftee, and a couple of butlers as they all watched what was being broadcasted on a large flatscreen TV. The flatscreen TV broadcasted the news that went on at the school as footage was being documented by Sasha and her crew. Alicia, with Tuftee on her hip was pacing back-and-forth as she watched the horror her daughter was going through.
Tuftee looked at the TV as he saw his transformed sister on live television. "Sawwy?" the toddler said as he tried to grab towards the TV.
Elias ran into the living room with his smartphone in his hand as it also broadcasted the live footage. "MOM! ARE YOU SEEING WHAT I'M SEEING?! IT'S SALLY! SHE-"
"I know dear." the stressed mother says. She hands Elias his younger brother to him. "Here. Watch Tuftee for me. I have to call your father about this." the mature female chipmunk looks at her butlers. "Gentlemen. Be kind and escort my two sons to the playroom would you?"
Elias grabs Tuftee from his mother. "Ok then. C'mon Tuftee. Let's go and play with some Thomas the train!"
The toddler gets excited and waves his hands around. "YAY! Choo-choo!" Elias and Tuftee leave as their butlers escorts them out.
Alicia waited patiently for all of them to leave. After she heard the door close she whipped out her phone and dialed Max's personal phone number. The phone trilled for a couple of seconds and seconds later, Max picks up.
"Hello?" he says.
"MAXIMILLIAN! ARE YOU SEEiNG WHAT'S WRONG WITH OUR DEAR SALLY?!" she screamed.
Maximillian was driving erratically through traffic as he ran stop signs and traffic lights. "I take it that you saw the news eh? Heh heh." he nervously chuckled.
"If it wasn't for you taking our daughter with you on your trip to Soleanna back then and having that thing sealed inside of her, none of this would've ever happened."
"Now now my dear. I apologized to you and her a thousand times. Sealing Iblis into our precious bean wasn't my doing. It was done by a silver hedgehog by the request of the Duke during his dying breath. If it wasn't for Mephiles and Walter betraying the Duke, disaster and drastic measures wouldn't need to been taken." he explained. "I promise. I am on my way to save her."
Alicia squinted her eyes. "That is still no excuse for what was done. Thanks to you our daughter might die because of this!" she covers her mouth as she is on the verge of breaking down.
"Hold on now sweetie. I promise you I will make things right. I am on my way to her with the Sword of Acorns. I might've failed as a parent back then. But I promise I will make things right." he swerves off the road and drives through the grass to take a shortcut. "I have to go and things right for Sally. She'll be home safe. Just stay positive. Love you!" he reassured.
"..." Alcica looked at the screen on her phone and hung up on Max. She puts the phone down and proceeds to sob, fearing the worse for her daughter. "God..." she prays. "Please lend us a miracle... for our dear Sally..."
- Back At School... -
Silence filled the schoolyard with nothing being heard but the rain pouring from the sky and the sounds of sirens being heard in the distance. Sally stared the fox in his face as her eyes continued to glow with a piercing light from her expressionless molten rock face. Thunder boomed in the background as she continued to stare and not moving an inch.
The flying kitsune stares back into the piercing white eyes of Sally as he feels his heart pounding from uncertainty and fear of what is the inevitable. He now has to find a way to fight her hopefully bring her back to normal.
"..." he gulps as he takes his attention off the eyes of Sally and looks at the sword he holds. 'This is bad! This weird sword came out of Sally's head, she transformed, and now me and my friends are going to have to fight her. I don't know what abilities she-' he stops to realize something. "Wait...!" his eyes widens. "Could it be..." he looks down at Sally who is still staring at him. "... that the monster she was telling me about in her visions is real?! And it's possessing her?!"
Our two-tailed genius has put two-and-two together from what Sally told him about yesterday at the forest. 'The monster that is the lava version of Chaos...' he thinks. 'She looks like she is made out of rock... so her abilities might be something about shooting out lava!' he looks over to Sonic. "Yo Sonic!"
"What's up lil bro? You figured out how to turn Sally back?"
"Not yet. But I think you, I, and Knuckles are going to have to work together. I'm trying to see what would happen if we break the rock that's surrounding Sally's body. Maybe that'll turn her back."
"Cool beans!" Sonic gives a thumbs up. "You ready Knux?"
Knuckles cracks his namesakes. "Fasho dawg! Let's tear the streets up!"
A concerned Bunnie looks up at a hovering Tails. "Ya figured sum out sugah-fox?"
"You know it!" he winks and gives her the ok symbol which made Bunnie's heart melt.
Tikal clasps her hands in a prayer-like form as she looks at the transformed Sally. 'I pray that this battle rules in their favor and for Sally to return to normal without any wounds. I pray for a miracle for our dear friend.'
"Come on Sally..." Nicole clenched her fist close to her chest. "You got to snap out of it..."
Julie-Su folds her arms as she ponders about the situation. 'C'mon homegirl. You can fight it. I know you're stronger than this.'
Antoine cowers on the grass as he is on his knees gripping his hair as he sobs loudly fearing that this might be his last moments alive.
Tails looks at the sword and admires the blacksmithery of the rock blade. 'I am in no way good at swords. But I can try my hand at this.' he waves the sword around just to get the gist of it. How much force to use, it's weight, and theorizing how much damage it'll give.
Sonic crossed his arms looking up at his younger brother swinging the sword like a dork. He smirks "Hey bro. Quit dorkin' around and let's save Sally from being ugly!" he gets ready to attack Sally.
"Sorry! I'm getting the gist of this sword. It could be like in some of the video games I play where the enemies' weapon might be its weakness." all of the sudden Tails feels the sword vibrating intensely making his noodly arms wobble. "W-w-w-w-oah!"
The eye on the sword looks at him stares at him as it freaks Tails out. "You are not chosen to wield this blade." Iblis spoke telepathically through the sword. It freed itself from the foxes grip and makes it way to Sally's right hand.
Tails is freaked out and baffled how the sword spoke to him and free itself from his grasp and made it's way to Sally. The yellow kitsune and the others looked in shock at Sally now moving as the green eye on her forehead shined and became dull again.
"I am sorry..." spoke a possessed Sally as her voice sounded of a combination of her's and Iblis's. "but your friend is no longer here. She is nothing more but a vessel." she walks slowly towards Sonic and the others while staring at Tails.
Tails lowers himself towards the ground right above Sonic and Knuckles probably as a defense mechanism.
A dark orange aura forms around her. "I am Iblis. The Eternal Sun and endbringer of this world." she walks closer as surrounding students steps back out of fear. "I am here to bring destruction to this world for all eternity! Thanks to this vessel I will be able to transform into my true form and fulfill my mission of making this world burn! But first, I must deal with threats such as that hedgehog and his friends..."
Sonic points to Iblis. "That's not going to happen on my watch! Me and my friends are going to give you the worse beatdown of the century! We're going to beat the ugly out of Sally if that's the last thing we do!"
Knuckles punches the air as his dreads slang with each motion. "Get outta here with this mess! Me and my homies finna mess you up!" he punches both fists together, making a small shock wave surrounding him. "We gon' stomp the shit outta you!"
A cocky smile made it's way on the hedgehog's face as he felt excitement from what's about to come as he stared into Sally's glowing eyes. "That's what I'm talkin' about Knux! Let's do it to it!"
Within a blink of an eye Sonic runs and spin dashes towards the possessed chipmunk but instead landed a hit on her sword thanks to her blocking his attack which makes him ricochet off her blade.
'Heh. That monster is fast. But I'm faster!' Sonic slides back on the grass as he kneels and charges up a spin dash.
*VREE VREE VREE!*
*WHOOSH!*
At full force Sonic dashes into Sally and knocks high into the air. This made Tails and the others flinch while Antoine fainted into Bunnie's arms.
'Jeez... careful Sonic...' he thought to himself.
"Don't just stand there T-dawg. C'mon let's gets some licks in and save yo girl!" the red echidna ran towards the battle.
Tails hesitated as he watched his best friends fight the girl he loves. He fears what will happen if they get too carried away during battle. They could potentially hurt her or WORSE! He fights the what-ifs and exhales as he open his eyes with a look of determination to save Sally. He flies towards you viewers and it fades to black.
- Over At Shadow... -
The front of Mobotropolis High is now in ruin. The lobby, a few classrooms and lockers along with the second and third floor was all damaged due to the battle that was had with Scourge. Shadow was the only one in the school ruins as he stood on the rubble near Metal Sonic's body. He saw the recent transformation that Sally has endured and stood there in deep thought as he watched Team Sonic fight and struggle against the chipmunk's vessel. Iblis kept blocking their attacks with his sword and counter attacked with the blade made of molten rock.
"In this current state they cannot win. That monster is only going to get stronger..." the ebony hedgehog spoke to himself. Shadow was looking for a opening where he can strike at Iblis, but thanks to Iblis being a fast learner and predicting their moves this seemed impossible. "It would be great if we had the Chaos Emeralds in our possession..." a light glowed at the corner of Shadow's left eye. "Huh?"
It caught his attention and he looked into it's direction. It was Metal Sonic's destroyed body that was the source of the light. Shadow walked up to it and kneeled down to get a closer look. "What is this?" he picked up a yellow Sol Emerald. 'This isn't a Chaos Emerald...'
The black hedgehog closed his eyes to concentrate tapping into its power to perform Chaos Control but no luck. "Hmm..." he rubbed his chin as he looked at the emerald cut gem in the palm of his hand. "I'll make the doctor tell me more about this gem and how to tap into it's power." he skated off outside and into the crowd.
Amidst the chaos that was going on, Shadow rushed through the crowd and saw Eggman as he cowered in fear along with his daughter and damaged robots.
"Doctor! Tell me how to use the power of these Sol Emeralds!" says the black hedgehog.
From above, Blaze glared at the black hedgehog as she looked at what was in his right hand. "*Gasp* Is that...?"
Shadow grabbed the doctor's mustache and pulled him closer to get a better look.
"EEP!" cried the doctor as his daughter cowered in the back.
"Doctor! You better tell me how to tap into the power of the Sol Emeralds or else!"
Sonic was listening since he was nearby as him, Knuckles, and Tails fought Iblis. 'Ok there Shads. Going the interrogation route I see.'
Panicking, the doctor stammered for words. "I-I-I r-really have n-n-no clue! Honest!" Shadow gave him a blank stare which intimidated the rotund scientist even more. "I swear! I stole these gems from that cat girl up there!" he pointed to Blaze as Shadow looked at her and saw how angry she looked.
Sonic dodged Iblis' swinging sword as he listened closely. "Geez. Now I see why ole girl is mad. Doc better be careful stealing from these ladies!" Sonic boosts into Iblis but is blocked by Iblis' sword.
"..." Shadow stared into her eyes and calmly turned his head back to Eggman. "Keep talking."
"Th-they're from another dimension that I was visiting and- and... I happen to visit her kingdom and during my time there I stole them, thinking that they were another power source for me to use like the Chaos Emeralds. But turns out I don't know how to use their power!" Eggman starts sweating. "It's the truth I swear!"
Shadow's patients is wearing thin as he closes his eyes and lets out a sigh. He looks at the doctor again and the look into his eyes was even more intimidating. "You have ONE MORE TIME to tell me the truth. How did Metal Sonic manage to use the power of that gem?" he shows Eggman the yellow Sol Emerald.
Eggman looks at the gem and looks back at the hedgehog as he clasps his fists begging. "It wasn't the Sol Emeralds! It was..." he reaches for his pocket.
Shadow's eyes dart at Eggman's hands. "Slowly." he commanded.
The doctor complied and nervously reached into his pocket slowly and slowly pulled out a green gem in the shape of a spherical polyhedron and showed it to the black hedgehog with a shaky hand. "It's this. This is a power gem, a gem weaker than the Chaos Emeralds but still hold tremendous power. This is what enhanced Metal Sonic's speed and power. It wasn't the Sol Emeralds. That was just a ploy to get Sonic and the others to believe that these were another power source to use to power up. I put one inside Metal as a distraction to make it more plausible." Eggman was about to place it inside his pocket.
"Hand it over."
"..." Eggman sighed as he handed the Power Gem over to Shadow.
Shadow simultaneously held the Sol Emerald and the Power Gem with one hand as he looked at it. He felt power from the gem. "This will be useful for the fight." he released his grip on the doctor's mustache followed with a kick to the doctor's chest. "Thanks for nothing." He placed the Power Gem in his pocket and turned around and looked up at Blaze as raised the Sol Emerald up.
Blaze descended down to the ground as Chaos followed behind her. Shadow handed the gem to her and pointed his thumb back to a case where the rest of the Sol Emeralds were.
Rouge felt her heart sink when Shadow handed the purple cat the Sol Emeralds. Rouge wanted the Sol Emeralds for herself and began to sob as Omega patted the buxom bat's back and pet her up.
Hesitant, Blaze looked at Shadow with uncertainty believing that he is going to strike her when her guard is down. "... You're not going to attack me... are you?"
Shadow crossed his arms across his chest as he closed his eyes and shook his head. "I have no reason to hinder your goal to obtain these gems. They're yours."
"Thank you." she walks past him. As she walks pass Eggman she glares at him with a fiery eyes which scares Eggman and nearly made him wet his pants. She grabbed the remaining gems from the case and walked past Eggman, giving him a swift kick in the head as she continued walking back to Shadow. "I need to return these back to my dimension. Without these my homeworld will perish."
Sonic and the others heard Blaze. "That's rad!" Sonic gave Blaze a thumbs up as he used his feet to push against Iblis' sword since it nearly sliced him in half, while Knuckles and Tails were attacking from behind but it didn't seem to affect Iblis.
"Don't mention it." says Shadow. "You have a mission to complete. Best of luck to you." he said as he walked towards the fight.
Chaos stood in front of Blaze as she stopped and looked at the liquid creature irritated with a deadpan look.
"What now? You're going to fight me again? I'm done fighting you."
Chaos shook his head no but gave her a thumbs up as his eyes squinted as if he were smiling.
"... okay...?" she becomes creeped out. She saw Sonic and the others fighting Iblis and were having trouble. "Do you guys need any help? I have the Sol Emeralds and I am able to tap into the power of them since I am their guardian." she asks Sonic and the others.
Sonic kicks the sword up and performs a homing attack at Sally and lands on his feet. "No thanks! You go back home. Good luck!"
"Are you sure? I can-"
Bean pops out of nowhere and screams. "GOOOOO! JUST GOOOO!" his eyes now bloodshot as he trembles. "We're going to take care of ole lava girl over here! You go home and deal with those pirates!"
A bit freaked out, Blaze nods. "Very well then." she closes her eyes and focus as the Sol Emeralds glows in her hands. "Sol Emeralds... please allow me to use your power and guide me to the Jewel Scepter...!" a white aura surrounds her as she takes a deep breath. "CHAOS CONTROL!"
*FWISH!*
And with that Blaze is gone.
Omega is now on his knees sobbing (if that is possible for a robot like him) now that Blaze is gone. "I was unable to get her name or number... I wanted us to get married and burn things together forever..."
Rouge patted Omega on his back. "There there Omega. Things will get better."
Team Sonic was still having trouble with Iblis. They were unable to put a mark on him.
"Dang!" Sonic clenched his teeth. "Ole ugly's tougher than I thought!"
Knuckles got knocked back by a blow from Iblis. "Tell me about it, homie. Ionno how to stop it."
They all began to sweat as the temperature was rising the more Iblis' power grew.
Bunnie unzipped her coat as she fanned herself. "Whewie! It sure is get'n' pretty toasty now."
Nicole and the others took off their sweaters and jackets respectfully from the intense heat.
Bunnie was getting worried as she braced herself for the worse. "Geez. Ah'm worried 'bout Sally-girl. Ah dun wanna lose mah bestfriend 'n the whole wide world. Ah'm prayin' fer a miracle."
Tikal nodded. "Me too. I pray that Sonic and them will rescue Sally and put a stop to this evil."
"Sally..." Nicole says as her eyes tremble at the sight of what she transformed into.
The pink echidna remained optimistic about the situation. "Shoot. If Sonic and them managed to fight deities and saved the world from doom so many times, I don't see why they can't save Sally. C'mon homegirls! We gotta stay positive and cheer them on!" she pumped her fist in the air.
Bunnie smiled teary-eyed and wiped a tear from her eye followed with a nod. "Yeah! Sho'nuff Julie-girl! We gotta have faith!"
Antoine cried out loud. "*Sobs loudly* WE EEZ GOING ZO DIE! EET EEZ IMPOSSEEBAL ZO ZURVIVE!" he stood in front of Bunnie as he shook her. "ZOU HEAR ME?! IMPOSSEEBAL IMPOSSEEBAL IMPOSSEEBAL IMP-"
*BAM!*
Bunnie punched Antoine in the head as he fell out.
"Would ya quit yer yappin'?! If ah was to die today, ah wouldn't wanna die hearing yer negative nonsense!" Bunnie scoffs.
Tails thought and he had a idea as a shining light bulb appeared above his head. "I know!" he turned his head to his teammates. "Yo!"
Sonic landed a few good hits before looking at his little brother. "Whaddup?!"
"I think I know Iblis' weak spot!" the yellow kitsune shouted. "It's the green eye located at Sally's forehead! If we attack it I'm sure it'll do some damage!"
Sonic winks as he gives Tails a thumbs up. "Preciate it bro!" he performed a homing attack at Iblis' eye in the center of Sally's forehead.
"AAAAAH!" screamed Iblis as he covered his eye.
Sonic looked at Tails and gave him a thumbs up again. "Well whaddaya know? It worked! Good eye bro!"
"Why I ain't of that?" the red head echidna thought.
"Cuz you got a one track mind!" said the hedgehog as he breakdances.
"Shut up!" the red echidna barked.
Bean ran towards Iblis. "Alright! This is just like a video game!" he summons a bomb from the palm of his hand, but thanks to the hot weather his bomb exploded. Leaving him burnt as he let out a cough of smoke and turned into a pile of ashes, leaving nothing but his eyes as he blinked twice.
As Shadow walked towards the battle he heard a female voice call out to him.
"Shadow!" Rouge called out. He looked at her as he kept walking. "You want us to join in?"
Saying nothing, Shadow motioned them to join him in the battle and both Rouge and Omega followed suit.
Out of nowehere Amy ran through the crowd and saw the battle that is going on. She gasped at the sight of Sonic fighting the monster, so she summoned her Piko-Piko hammer and charged into battle.
"Hold on Sonic! I'll help you!"
Vectorman joins in as he stepped into battle and threw off his tie.
"MR. VECTORMAN?!" Sonic exclaimed.
The robotic teacher flexed his orbs arms. "The one and only!" he charges up a blast against Iblis. "I rumbled back in my youth."
Omega looks at the green robot. "Really?" he says as a tear drop slide down the side of his head, anime style.
- At The Prower's Residence -
Merlin was doing his daily meditating in his dark room. He sat on a pillow on the hardwood floor, criss-crossed applesauce and did deep breaths. As he meditated, in his visions he saw flames and darkness. Then within the darkness Sally appeared, covered in molten rock with glowing eyes with a green eye in the center of her forehead. He felt overwhelming power and pressure so strong to the point it made him snap out of his meditation.
"*GASP!*" his eyes opened as he panted and sweated as he clenched his chest. "*Pant pant* Was that... *pant* Sally I just saw?" he closes his eyes and focuses on his vision again as he felt another power source nearby. In his vision he saw Max in his car, swimming through traffic. "Is that... Maximillian? But... what is this?" he focuses on the trunk of the car and senses something powerful coming from the trunk. He sees a silhouette of a sword in the trunk. "Hmm... could it be? The Sword of Acorns?!"
Max is swimming in traffic on the highway in his black 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190-Class. It might be old, but that vehicle still drives like it's new and Max seems to be a pro at swimming. Different vehicles were blowing the horn at Max due to him cutting them off in traffic. Max was driving as he leaned forward against the steering wheel as he looked intensely. "I'm sorry! But I have a daughter to save!"
- Back At The Schoolyard -
Tikal shielded herself and the others as the battle grew more intense. Team Sonic, Team Dark, Amy, and Vectorman were having a tough time with Iblis. They all surrounded him as Iblis stood there waiting for their next move.
Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow stood in front of Iblis while Vectorman, Omega, and Amy stood from behind, and Tails and Rouge hovered above, each both at Iblis' sides.
"Let's go!" Sonic and the rest all charged towards Iblis.
Iblis chuckled. "Hmm hmm hmm... pitiful fools." Iblis grabbed his sword and performed a spinning slash on them all, knocking them all back as Mr. Vectorman collapsed into a pile of orbs. Iblis stood straight as he held the sword proudly. "Haven't you mortals learned not to fight against a God?"
"Step aside inferior robot." Omega got tired and displayed all of his arsenal, excluding the missiles and explosions due to the intense heat. "Eat this you hard rocked squishy!" he looked at Mr. Vectorman. "I will demonstrate what a superior robot can do." he opens fire on Iblis.
*BLAMM BLAMM BLAMM BLAMM BLAMM BOOM!*
All the students ran away from the schoolyard since they didn't want to get caught in the crossfire of Omega's wrath. Sasha and her crew stayed to get as much footage as possible.
"I don't want ANY part of this!" Eggman stood up and pressed a button on his coat and a beam from the Egg Carrier shined down upon him and his lackeys. "Screw this I'm out! I'll get my revenge!" the beam pulled them all up and the Egg Carrier retreats to his base.
Shadow sees Eggman's ship leave. "Tch!" he is about to go after the ship.
"We'll deal with him later." says a damaged Sonic. "We gotta take care of ole hot head right here."
The smoke cleared up and a even angrier Iblis stood there. Slightly damaged thanks to some of Omega's projectiles hitting Iblis' eye.
"It appears... I was too lenient." says Iblis as his orange aura grew darker and the heat became more intense.
This heat was way hotter than all the deserts and hot area Sonic and the others visited. This heat was like none other before. It is as if Iblis' heat was also draining their life-force. Sonic and the rest began to sweat even more, and is on the verge of passing out.
Rouge unbuttoned her shirt a bit as she fanned herself. "Oh my... this is a bit too much for me..."
"Enough..." Shadow pulled out the Power Gem. "This may not be a Chaos Emerald... but this should end things quickly!" as Shadow is about to absorb the power of the gem, the gem flew out of Shadow's hand. "Huh?!" he looked and see the gem now in the palm of Iblis's hand. "Dammit!" shouts a frustrated Shadow.
"How kind of you..." Iblis looks at the gem. "This will help me reach my full potential faster. I didn't know you were so eager to die."
"!" Chaos ran and tried to shoot water at Iblis to stop him but unfortunately it is ineffective. Chaos felt drained from the intense heat and collapsed into a puddle.
Tikal held her hand out and screamed. "NOOOO! CHAOS!" she tried to run towards him. "I... can... heal... y-you..." she collapse and passes out.
Tikal's shield faded away and the others struggled to remain conscious.
"Oh mah stars..." Bunnie landed on both knees as she fanned herself. "It's gettin' worse..."
Tails looks over to her. "Hang on Bunnie! We'll try to... hurry up and save Sally!" he pants as he takes off his jacket and looks at Iblis. "We had enough. You're going down!" Tails charges into a spin dash.
*VREE VREE VREE*
*SHOOM!*
He spin dashes towards Iblis but Iblis once again blocked with his sword, making Tails bounce off. Sonic spin dashes behind Tails and also hits Iblis' sword.
"Grr..." before hitting the ground Tails flips in the air and propels his namesakes and flies towards Iblis and lands a kick at the eye on Iblis' sword. The sword cracks and weakens and this irritates Iblis.
"Curse you!" the monster shouts.
Without hesitation, Iblis absorbs the Power Gem and his power increases. The heat became hotter and Iblis rose above with his sword. Sally's hair escapes the molten rock as her red hair flows upwards as Iblis becomes engulfed in a pillar of flames. The overwhelming heat made Sonic and the others pass out but Tails clings on for as long as he can.
Sasha and her crew were struggling to hang on to consciousness. "It appears... that... this monster... is trans... form... ing... into... *sighs*" she lets out a sigh as she passes out. Her crew passes out as well as the footage continues to roll.
Antoine's vision becomes blurry as he collapses on the ground. "I... zon't... want... to... ze die..." he passes out.
Iblis laughs hysterically. "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I CAN FEEL MY POWER GROWING! I WILL BURN THIS WORLD TO THE GROUND AND EXPAND MY FLAMES THROUGH THE UNIVERSE- NO- THE MULTIVERSE! MY FLAMES WILL FOREVER EXPAND! AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
*Tires screeches*
Max's car skids onto the school yard and comes to a complete stop as he hops out the car and runs to the trunk. He sweats as he tries to hang on since his life force is being drained by Iblis's intense heat. 'I need to stop this immediately!' he pulls the Sword of Acorns out and runs towards Iblis. "Daddy's coming Sally Alicia!" the sword glows with a golden aura.
Tails sees him running towards Iblis. 'Is that... Sally's dad? ... The Mayor?'
The older mustached chipmunk jumps high in the air with the sword in his hands as he prepares to perform a slash with the anointed blade.
"GIVE ME BACK MY DAUGHTER AND DISAPPEAR BACK INTO THE UNDERWORLD WHERE YOU BELONG!" he slices clean through Iblis.
A gold pillar of aura surrounds Iblis as it the pillar pierces the stormy clouds. Iblis rises high in the air and dissolves as he screams in turmoil. "NO! NOT AGAIN! DAMN YOU! SOMEDAY... I WILL BURN THIS WORLD WITH MY FLAMES! THIS ISN'T OVEEEEEEEERRRRRR!" then a explosion occurs high within the sky followed by silence as the smoke clears up. Iblis is gone and the day is saved once again.
Max lands on his feet and looks at his reflection on his sword. "Still got it." he says to himself as he turns around to look up.
The storm clouds clears up and the bright blue sunny sky appears. Iblis is banished back to where he came from and Sally is saved... wait... Where is Sally?!
Maximillian's eyes widens as he looks in horror. "*Gasp* MY BABY!" screams the father as he begins to panic.
An unconscious Sally is falling high from the sky as Maximillian panics.
*ZOOM*
Tails flies past him and up towards Sally. "I got her." he reassures the concerned father.
Sally's eyes slowly opens as she regains consciousness. "Mmrrmm..." her eyes shoots wide open when she realizes that she is falling to her doom. "OH MY GOOOOOOOOD!" her arms and legs flails as she falls to her inevitable doom. She didn't want to die so young, she had yet to live a full life, she wanted to graduate, pursue her dreams of being a teacher, and to start a family and new life with... "Miles?!" her face lights up with a tearful smile at the sight of our two-tailed hero.

With a smile and heart of gold, Tails flies towards Sally with the smile and energy only a true hero possess. The chipmunk gasps and smiles as she stretches out her arms towards the kitsune to embrace him. Tails does the same and the two grab each other and hugs high in the air. Tails flies up and hugs her as they both spin around hugging each other tight, both never wanting to let each other go.
Both the kitsune and the chipmunk stare into each other with their ocean blue eyes with a feeling that's hard for both of them to describe. Both their hearts stirred at the sight of each other and their presence. The sun shone in Sally's face as her red hair blown from the wind making her look more beautiful to Tails more than ever, as the sun shone in Tails' face as his bangs blew from the wind making him appear more handsome to Sally than ever before. His feelings for Sally has grown even more stronger thanks to their history, those dreams and their time together all these years. Out of all the girls, Sally feels like she is the one for him and he feels extremely privileged to have met and spend time with her. Likewise for the female chipmunk.
My hero..." Sally says as she flutters her eyelids a couple of times as she held on to his shoulders and wraps her legs around his waist.
"My princess..." Tails says as he stares dreamily into her eyes and as he wraps his arms around her waist.
"You are AMAZING, Miles. You do know that, right?" she rubs her nose on his.
"You... you are too Sally." he responds as he rubs his nose back.
They both blush at their comments and feelings about each other. Even though they wanted to take things slow and remain friends, their feeling for each other is getting to strong to the point where it might drive them crazy if they ignore it any longer.
"You do know when a hero saves the princess he gets rewarded with a kiss." she says.
"R-right." says the nervous kitsune.
"Well..." she smiles. "What are you waiting for?" she closes her eyes and puckers up for a kiss.
"Alright." Tails closes his eyes and puckers up as well.
They both interlock lips as they feel a spark of energy and a unexplainable feeling. They kissed for what felt like eternity for which they wished would last forever. Sonic and the rest cheered for Tails and Sally.
"*Whistles* That's my bro right there!" Sonic celebrated as he jumped and pumped his fist in the air.
Amy sighs dreamily as she looked at the two lovers. "*Sighs dreamily* I can't wait for that to be us..." she looks at Sonic with dreamy eyes.
The blue blur chuckles nervously as he rubs under his nose. "Heh heh. Not a chance Ames."
"Aww... c'mon my smoochy-woochy!" she runs towards Sonic and tries to kiss him.
"Hey Amy! Knock it off!" Sonic runs away as the pink hedgehog chases him as the others laugh.
Knuckles crosses his arms as he nods his head approvingly as he smiles at Tails. "That's my yellow n-word." he chuckles. "Ain't that right M-Dawg?" he checks his back pocket.
The Master Emerald glows. "*Glows* (I'm glad the day is saved but I wasn't going to help by lending my power for y'all to use. I low-key wanted y'all to figure it out on y'all own.)"
"A'ight dawg. Tough love right there!" he puts the Master Emerald back in his pocket and wraps his arm around Julie-Su's shoulder as they walked away.
Bunnie gives a heartwarming smile at the two in the sky. "Aww that's so sweet. Ah hope ah get ah sweet prince charming like sugah fox. Ah girl can only dream." she sighs dreamily.
Antoine becomes salty as he looks at Tails and Sally kissing. "Yeah yeah. What zee ever... Anyone can zoo zat een zave peepol. He juzt got ze lucky zats all."
Bunnie smack the french coyote up side his head. "Boy. Would yer shaddap? Sugah fox is more brave than ya an' yer cryin'."
Antoine rubbed his head. "Ouch! Ok. I suppose..."
Nicole cries tears of joy to see her best friend alive and safe.
Tikal smiles as Chaos stands beside her. "Thank heavens she's alright. Alls well that ends well right?" she looks at Chaos as he gives her a thumbs up. "This world isn't so bad after all- uhp!" Chaos grabs Tikal and tosses her in the air. "Woah! Kay-O put me doooown! Wheeee!" she screams in excitement as she gets tossed in the air.
Bean, magically intact, gives Tails and Sally a thumbs up. "Alright! That's what I'm talking about! Lemme know if her chipmunk hide tastes like the 3 Musketeers!" he proceeds to lick his lips.
Shadow and Rouge and Omega look up as well.
"Looks like that girl is safe and sound and Eggman's retreating back to his base. I say that our work here is done... for now..." he walks away with Omega following him.
Rouge looks at Tails. "..." she stares for a few seconds before flying off behind Shadow and Omega. "How cute." she says followed with a wink.
Maximillian stares at the fox kissing his daughter. 'Just who does he think he is? Kissing my daughter? I will not allow such blasphemy!' he seethes.
From his third eye, Merlin sighs in relief that Tails, Sally, and everyone else is okay. He smiles knowing that he can rest well for now. "I'm so proud of my nephew. He makes me proud to be a Prower!" he continues to meditate peacefully.
Tails and Sally broke the kiss and looked into each other's eyes one last time.
The chipmunk caresses the foxes face. "Thank you for being a amazing person. You are a Godsend, Miles." she nuzzles her face into his chest.
Tails rests his muzzle on Sally's red hair as he smells it, caressing her hair. "You too... Sally... you too... I wouldn't have it any other way."
They hugged for what feels like eternity and both didn't show any sign of letting each other go as they hovered above the bustling city.

Author's note 2: Well it looks like we finally made it to the end of season 1! I'm glad that I stayed this long to see how far all this could go. Makes me kinda proud of myself I ain't gonna lie. I have at least 2 more seasons planned for this fanfic, so that means that the journey isn't over for our two-tailed genius and his friends. I hope you guys enjoyed this!
