Can I just express how devastated I am at the cancellation of station 19. This show, and its cast, has bought so many stories to life. From infertility and adoption, to single fathers, death of loved ones, marriage and divorce, sexual assault and mental health issues.

I was hoping that this show would've had a similar run to greys. However it has become apparent that now ABC has taken on 911 aswell, they don't have enough room for another firefighter based show.

Anyways, now that I've had a moment to reflect on my devastation. Enjoy this short chapter :)

Chapter 11

Jack re-entered Andy's room, and sat down beside her. Carina entered at the same time, and started discussing Andy's release from hospital

"Right Andy, we are ready to send you home now. But you have to take it easy. If you start feeling dizzy or really unwell come back and see me okay. I know the team will take care of you, so you have to let them yes?" Carina said

"Yes we will"" Vic said, nodding her head

"Well Andy's living back at mine now, so she's in safe hands." Jack said, as he packed some of Andy's things into her duffle bag

After being discharged, and in true Andy style, she went to the station with Vic and Jack who were due to start a shift as she didn't want to be home alone.

"If you need anything, shout for me okay Becketts put me on desk duty today" Vic said, entering Andy's bunk.

"I might just come and sit with you, rather than be alone" Andy said, sitting up

"Well the others are all out on a call right now, they might be gone for a while. We could go get some coffee from the kitchen and sit downstairs.

After making their drinks, the girls headed downstairs were talking back and forth about Christmas, and the Fire Fighter Christmas party.

"Do you think that the others would notice if we put the Christmas decorations up now?" Vic said

"Well considering thanksgiving is only next week yes" Andy replied

"See I love thanksgiving, but I love Christmas." Vic said "So it wouldn't hurt if I put the tree up with turkey decorations on surely?" She added, laughing

"Well I guess we could" Andy said smiling

"Lets get started then" Vic said, opening the cupboard near the stairs taking out the decorations.

It was safe to say that both girls had plenty of fun putting the decorations up, because by the time the A-Shift had arrived the whole station was covered in wreaths, tinsel, baubles and all sorts. Due to not having many thanksgiving decorations, Andy and Vic gave up and just decorated for Christmas.

Vic loved seeing Andy, and was happy to see the old Andy making an appearance again. Both Vic and Andy had tinsel wrapped round their necks, and were dancing around to Mariah Carey

"Woah what happened in here then?" Travis said, closing the door to the aid car.

"Oh, I don't know. I was taking a nap and came down and saw Vic decorating" Andy lied, laughing.

"No, Andy was the perpetrator here. She started pulling the decorations out after a minor talk about Christmas" Vic said, still dancing

"Well it certainly looks like you ladies have had some fun" Maya said, rolling her eyes slightly.

"It's good to see you smiling again Herrera" Warren said, as the whole team started joining in with dancing

Later that evening the whole team was sat around the table, eating their dinner.

"So are we skipping thanksgiving, now that its looking like Santa threw up all over the station?" Jack asked, receiving a punch to the arm from Andy

"Of course not!" Warren said, causing everyone to laugh "Miranda, and Prue love thanksgiving." He added

"No we are most certainly not missing out on thanksgiving. Me and Andy decorated for Christmas out of pure boredom okay" Vic said, tucking into her spaghetti

The team then dispersed off into small conversations between themselves, and Andy looked around and smiled.

That's when she knew, no matter what, she would have her team behind her. No matte the decision she made, they would be there for her.

Things are looking up and happy for Andy!

Now, I loved Surrera I did but I'm either heading for a Vandy partnership here or a Jack and Andy ship. I'm really not sure. So let me know which you would like to see.
