[GAME LOADED. WELCOME BACK!]

An hour after napping on the couch back in the valley, Taeko yawned before getting up and at them. It was late in the afternoon and he hoped Alex was still working at the ice cream stand. He jogged out of the house as Logan followed him. To his relief, Alex was still serving with Haley and Emily there getting treats.

"Taeko, I…why are you dressed up as a black Link?" Alex asked in confusion.

"Oh my gosh, this material is so sublime. Where did you even get it?" Emily asked.

"Yelenhelm." Taeko said without thinking.

"Shit…dude, be careful. The women there…are crazy." Alex said warily.

"More like thirsty. Besides, I made some deals…saved the island…got called a hero. You are looking for the first Earl of Yelenhelm." Taeko said as Haley dropped her [Ice Cream].

"You're a noble?!" Haley sputtered.

"Count Taeko K. Maelstrom." Taeko said with faux dramatic flair and a courtesy.

"Damn. You leave town for a bit and you come back near royalty. Do we have to call you Count Maelstrom now?" Alex teased.

"Nah, save that for the Yelenhelm rubes." Taeko joked before revealing his new product. "But ending up one allowed me to get my hands on some property and machinery. Say hello to my new product, [Ice Paradise Popsicles] that come in a variety of flavors."

The dozen were in a box with a beach themed design that Taeko had thought up to invoke that cold feeling.

"Taeko…you came to me to sell them?" Alex said touched. "You didn't have to."

"I wanted to. Here, take these two boxes. Each has a dozen in them…hope you don't mind the strawberry flavor." Taeko said, giving him the boxes.

"I gotta try this." Alex said, taking one of the icy treats to shove in his mouth. "Mmm…this is really good. This your high quality batch?"

"Yup. I'll be spitting out nothing but the high quality stuff for the popsicles at least." Taeko mused as Alex gave one to Emily and Haley. "Here, you should take the rest of the first batch. I'm only really keeping one to myself."

Taeko left after handing them all to Alex bar the one with the ancient fruit flavor.

[You gained +100 Friendship Points with Alex. Your social climbing has earned Haley's respect! +1 Friendship Heart with her.]

He was informed that he unlocked a new heart scene of Haley's and he just had to go to her house to trigger it. He decided to go right over there, taking his time to do so before entering the Umbra house. Haley was back home trying to open a jar…of one of his jams. Haley was about to ask Taeko if he was strong, only to stop herself after thinking back. That netted Taeko +30 [Friendship Points].

"Taeko, could you help with this jar? I'm sure it's no issue for you at all." Haley said as Taeko opened it up. "Thank you. I misplaced the tool for opening jars."

"No issue at all." Taeko said before leaving. "But I'm not sure if you want jam after frozen treats."

"I just wanted to loosen the lid so it's easier to open." Haley said as Taeko bid her goodbye.

"For a heart scene, that was underwhelming." Taeko remarked to himself. "Aw well…"

"There you are." Abigail said coming up. "Why are you dressed like Dark Link?"

"It's my new adventuring clothes." Taeko bluntly said. "Like it?"

"Love it. And thanks for the new gear. I can't wait to get back into the mines." Abigail said as she walked along with him.

"We may have new places to adventure to in due time." Taeko said eagerly. "But I'm going to be busy all day today."

"I get it. Your business." Abigail spoke gently. "Considering the farm, I expect you to be busy all day first of the month. I just wanted to steal some moments."

She kissed him.

"It's been a real whirlwind romance you know, even with all that's happened." Abigail said gently. "I never thought I could be a real adventurer…"

"Hey, the potential was there. I just pulled it out." Taeko softly said.

"Our relationship is anything but ordinary…but I wouldn't have any other way." Abigail said as they held each other. "Taeko, I…love you."

"Love you too, Abs…love you too." Taeko said as the wind through their hair.

[You've hit the max number of hearts with one of your love interests!]

"That was something…" Abigail said with a thin blush. "Felt like a cheesy romance movie."

Taeko laughed.

"Almost expect a sudden timeskip for us to be parents." Abigail joked.

"Nah, I figured you'd be last on kids." Taeko noted. "Penny would likely be first to want them. It's kinda either between you and Maru on who will get a kid before the other."

"You have way too much stamina." Abigail said on an aside. "But it's good to know you only want to knock me, Maru, and Penny up someday in the future."

"Wouldn't have it any other way, Abigail." Taeko said. "I'll see you around."

Taeko went to the forest as he began cutting down trees while collecting [Fiber] and any forage in the way. Then he decided to try a [Popsicle] to see what buff he got. He got out to give it some licks before some bites. With a flash of ki, he incinerated the popsicle stick in his hand after he was done.

The temp buff? His attack, defense, speed, and his skills increased by '+1'. He rocketed off slashing through trees with ease and drawing in the forage. He made it back to his farm before snatching up the pile of [Pine Tar] near the [Tapper] he had to pick up before going inside. With the materials he gathered…and his perk, he was able to two dozen [Looms]...before putting the leftovers away. Taking the [Loom] he already built from before to put in his [Inventory] along with making and taking a few things for the new farm, Taeko was ready to set things up. He headed out, having his pets follow him into town.

"Pierre, my man…I know it's near closing time, but…"

"What do you need?" Pierre said without hesitation.

"Ah, our future son-in-law." Caroline said sweetly. "I do have to add…maybe in due time you make us grandparents."

"It's in the cards, but we're taking our time. Geez, we're not even married yet and we just…solidified our bond." Taeko awkwardly said.

"I thought you did that when you deflowered my little girl." Caroline said as Taeko was red faced.

"Caroline, we were both consenting adults!" Taeko spat as Caroline chuckled.

"Sure you both are…" Caroline joked before going further inside.

Taeko grumbled as he got 10 [Hop Starters] and handed over the 600 gold. Leaving the general store, he ran into Lewis.

"Taeko, good to see you. We need to talk." Lewis said, gesturing for him to follow.

Taeko walked along as Lewis revealed he got contacted by a government official from Yelenhelm about an offer. Taeko had told him that he had become a noble in the country after aiding it and Lewis started laughing.

"Taeko, my boy…you've done this town a great boon. Yelenhelm having a ferry spot here means tourists…and profits for our economy. They're already sending a work crew to expand the dock…apparently because of another noble named Erelune."

"Ah, my Viscountess. I suppose she's technically my deputy…she helped me to save the country. She's a friend." Taeko remarked before Lewis gave him a dock slip. "What's this?"

"A slip for you to have a spot to park a boat at the docks here. I should have given you one sooner." Lewis said with a wry grin. "You're doing good work to fight back against Joja."

They went their separate ways with Taeko going down to the beach to find his [Squalo II] parked nearby. He helped his pet onto the boat and told them to wait for him as he rushed back to the house to pick up a few things. Namely, the [Tappers] and the [Bee Houses]. He loaded up the [Cheese Press], [Ice Cream Maker], and some of the [Kegs]. He looked at the [Fish Pond] and threw a [Squid] in it before leaving for his boat.

He was off as he got a call from Elly May to which he answered.

"Another farm?! Must be nice." Elly May mused.

"Yeah, but I won't be having you working there…Shadow Farm needs you. I'll be getting another assistant on Sunshade Farm." Taeko said.

"You're really climbin' on up." Elly May said. "Are you going to be back in time for dinner?"

"Nah. Might spend the night depending on how things go. You keep at it, Elly." Taeko said before bidding goodbye and hanging up.

Looking at the map, he saw that [Yelenhelm Point] was actually on the same island he now…'ruled'. Erelune's turf was Viceport, fittingly enough. Taeko's phone rang to which he saw it was her calling and he answered.

"Erelune." Taeko greeted.

"I seriously owe you. They already made me a baroness, but thanks to you…you got me promoted up to Viscountess. Your actions only legitimized me and my organization. While making sure that the only nobles that could interfere is you and Yui." Erelune said as Taeko raised an eyebrow. "But I wanted to propose an alliance…a merger. I did my homework and I know your organization is better organized than mine. All I ask is to be your second-in-command."

"If you're asking for a merger. I can make you one of my underbosses. You can continue as normal as you're my second in command towards operations in Yelenhelm." Taeko remarked.

"We'll have to confirm this over a meeting. How about we meet at the port?" She said.

"I'll be there." Taeko said before hanging up.

Both parties would arrive with Erelune arriving in a [Cuban Jetmax] with three people. An athletic elf that bore a heavy physical resemblance to Ranfan with her only difference being her hair being orange and a slightly larger bust. Next to her was a 'Kokiri' male with cropped red hair that framed his freckled face. And the last one was an elf who was in her early 20s being of average height with long light brown hair that tied in two tails, dark brown eyes, and freckles. She had black tribal tattoos on both of her upper arms. Of course, they wore late 80's/early 90's fashion.

"Let me introduce you. Rosaria, Minish, and Amanda." Erelune said as Taeko shook hands with them.

"So that's your main line for your crew?" Taeko asked.

"Yeah, we've run jobs before this noble stuff. Keya and her husband used to work with us on jobs that needed boats. Because of our noble status, this let me secure a boatyard and a few businesses in Viceport. Minish is our stategrist and Rosaria's my right-hand woman." Erelune said.

Erelune explained a bit more of her past before getting to the main point.

"Ok, so this Brooke chick is a thorn in your side in this city." Taeko remarked. "Because she's bankrolling the Blue Sea Sirens and an all around scumbag."

"Yes, and I made a bit of a deal with Red Dead Reapers…they're willing to merge with your forces, if you can prove yourself to them." Erelune mused. "I know their leader…we used to be the royal guard together."

"Let me guess, pay was shit and the Queen's a moron." Taeko said as she nodded. "Ok, so you'll have to work for me?"

"Oh, yeah. So you're in?" Erelune said as Taeko took her hand.

"I'm in." Taeko said.

"Well pay Viceport a visit, we'll be waiting. And here." Erelune said giving him a key. "And I sent a package to your place."

"The key for an apartment. [101 Bayshore Avenue]. It's my complex." Minish mused. "I got some small jobs you can do for me for rent."

"Noted. I guess I got new staff. Though, I'll be eschewing the Yakuza format for something a bit more streamlined. The operations for the Shadow Yakuza in Yelenhelm will be referred to as Shadowrun, befitting the name of the Yelenhelm branch." Taeko said confidently. "Welcome to Shadowrun. I'll have my people in contact with you four."

Taeko had called Velma to let her know what was up before everyone bid their goodbyes.

[You have a new safehouse! New missions are available!]

He returned home to his barge as he and his pets got onto Sunshade Farm. He sensed he had company as he came up to see a pale elven woman looking into his [Selling Bin]. She was about his height with her blonde hair being short and slick framing her face. She had full lips and a beauty mark under her right eye. She wore a black cropped tube top showing off some cleavage from the stomach & upper back that exposed bits of a lacy black bra, a distressed blue jean miniskirt with torn black legging under it, black short boots, a silver pair of earrings on her ears, red painted nails, and a white sweater tied around her waist. A fancy purse lay next to her that was a bit worn.

Taeko cleared his throat as he came close and she nearly fell in the bin. She turned around which gave Taeko a better view of her buxom curvaceous build. He slyly used [Observe] to reveal her name…Cassidee Renet.

"Who are-"

"New owner. Keya, the former owner, sold me the place…and what are you doing?" Taeko remarked as she was sweating.

"Nothing….I…"

Taeko looked over at the mailbox which was up.

"Hold that thought." Taeko said, going over to it.

Logan and Tom sat in front of her eyeing her…and Cassidee nervously watched Taeko get his mail. He got his Yelenhelm citizenship in the mail which the [Game] added to his [Key Items] and told him he would have no issue traveling through Yelenhelm now. But the thing that got Cassidee scared was seeing a 'noble's treasure chest' which was a clear indicator she tried to steal from a noble. Inside was a plaque to hang on the wall, a flag with the Maelstrom family symbol within a circular symbol that noted his nobility, and a [Yelenhelm Noble Ring] that was only granted to nobles. There was also the promised package from Erelune.

[Yelenhelm Noble Ring - The ring only carried by the nobles of Yelenhelm, sealed with a blessing of protection. A one-time blessing for wearing it and a continued boon for wearing. It can also glow if one pumps a bit of energy into it. (Glow Ring Effect, +3 Defense, +3 Immunity, +1 Luck) (Works in tandem with your Earl of Sunshade perk)]

Taeko shed the [Glowstone Ring] and equipped that new ring on as he glowed green.

[Elf's Blessing: Your vitality was enhanced to an elf's standard. +1000 Health | +1000 Energy (Your junk will also get an upgrade)]

"Aw yeah." Taeko thought before turning to Cassidee. "Oh right."

Cassidee had a look of complete panic seeing that either he was a noble in his own right or married to one. Given the flag, she could surmise it was the first one and immediately bowed. Long ago, she would have been more arrogant, but losing everything and time on the streets made Cassidee less willing to be rude to other people. Especially nobles.

"I'm sorry…I had no idea this place belonged to a noble." Cassidee said, shaking in fear.

"You wouldn't. I just bought this place today…I am the Earl of Sunshade, Count Taeko Maelstrom." Taeko said dramatically.

"Cassidee Renet. Please don't call the police…" Cassidee said with her eyes lowering to his crotch. "I'm sure I'd be willing to make it up to you for this. I—"

She was cut off by her growling stomach. He simply went to his door and opened it.

"Well I don't think you'll be able to do anything on an empty stomach. Come in, let's get you something to eat." Taeko said as Cassidee scurried in.

He cooked up [Stir Fry] for the first time and presented the plate to her. She hastily ate it with gusto as she had not had a decent meal for a long while…aside from what she could forage and steal. It did not help that she could not cook herself. She finished the meal with a look of relief thanking him for the meal…and not calling for the cops.

"If I can clean myself a bit, I can repa-"

"Actually, I wanted to make an offer. I need a person to help run Sunshade Farm, a farmhand assistant who will aid in such duties…among other things." Taeko remarked. "Room and board included with pay."

"I just have one request…a pair of aviator sunglasses." Cassidee asked.

"Ok, any preference in color?" Taeko asked.

"Oh…silver." Cassidee said as Taeko went upstairs before coming down with the glasses. "Thank you."

"You can clean yourself up…go have a bath. I'll have some new clothes for you…and put what you're wearing in the wash." Taeko remarked.

"Maybe you could join me…" Cassidee said kindly.

"Tempting, but I actually need to start working on getting this place set up. Besides, we'll have time…and considering you clearly were homeless…I rather you focus on cleaning yourself up." Taeko said.

[Cassidee is now your 'Farmhand Assistant' for Sunshade Farm! Thanks to your noble connections, her pay will be handled for you as a mailed 'Agricultural Fund'.]

Unlike Cassidee, the [Game] stated where a guest room was added for her and she'd get her own key. Yeah, she did not really come with a perk like Elly May's, but given the smaller scale the Beach Farm was…he didn't really worry about it. He showed Cassidee her guest room before leaving her to shower. As Cassidee enjoyed her first hot bath in a long while, Taeko got to work placing down the [Chests] and with the first one that was in one corner of the living room next to his [Workbench]. He stored a few items and took several out to ready himself. He went down to the cellar loading the [Kegs] and [Popsicle Makers].

"Ok, I'm going to need a [Shed] to have the equipment in." Taeko said to himself before bringing up his map. "Ok, looks like I can go into Burnside Vale to get stuff. I'll do that last."

He went back up to put up the 'noble's treasures' in the living room, but the flag was hung outside off a pole on his patio. After storing a few things away, he slipped into Cassidee's room to leave her fresh clothes only to find that the [Game] provided her something…Launch's iconic outfit and a pair of striped panties. He simply took Cassidee's dirty clothes and put them in the wash before opening up the package from Erelune.

[Letter from Erelune]

Here's something to help you blend into the vibe of Pax A.

[Enclosed [Vercetti Street Outfit]]

Taeko went up to change into the iconic outfit, a blue and green Hawaiian shirt, silver chain around his neck, blue stonewashed jeans, gold watch, and white low-top sneakers. He had taken off hat in favor of gold aviator shades. He went outside to get to work going to the green patch of the farm. He planted all the seeds he had carried over (the hops, the wheat, some blueberries, and leftover melon seeds) and used some of that fertilizer Keya left. Cassidee had come out to find him, wearing the outfit with sandals.

"Ok, you can water them. I'll need to go into the town to seek out a place for a shed." Taeko mused.

"I might be able to give some advice. There's a few families that'll be living out in the woods, mostly the woods near town. But I suggest you seek out the Foxes. Nice folks…if one for privacy. They run a ranch…and I saw you have a barn. Husband's a gardener and does work as a carpenter with his brother. So Shawnee and Odawa can build you anything you'd need." Cassidee remarked.

"Much appreciated. Once you're done watering, make a check of the barn, and you'll be standby afterwards." Taeko said before walking away.

Cassidee got to watering. She never thought she'd end up working on a farm of all things, but she dare not complain. As far as she was concerned, she lucked out with a cushy job. Him being a noble was the cherry on top as it assured her pay.

"Damn, I should have asked for a car…" Cassidee said. "Eh, I can text him."

Taeko stored a few things away before going to the garage wondering if Keya left a car behind…but he just found his rides on the list. He selected the [Zentorno] and wheeled it out before driving for the roads in the woods. The radio station selection on this island was essentially the same as GTA III, but Taeko expected the stations would probably have more songs. He tuned in to Lips 106 idly listening as he followed his minimap arriving at a large ranch named Foxburrow Ranch. He pulled into the place and got out of the car. The house looked like a cross of Robin and Marnie's homes being their sizes combined. He walked up to the front door to knock on the door before leaning back on the railing of the front porch. Tom had followed via slipping in the car as Taeko got in it, and came out to climb up to perch himself on Taeko's shoulder.

The door opened to a lady elf with tanned skin, brown eyes, Native American features, and long brown with orange streaks in it…all in semi-professional wear consisting of a white frilled blouse with an orange tie, beige slacks, and orange flats. All with a stern look on her face aimed at him.

"Good day, I'm looking for Shawnee and/or Odawa Fox." Taeko said kindly. "I was told they're the best at getting things built."

"New in town?" She asked.

"Yeah. Taeko Maelstrom, Earl of Sunshade." Taeko said formally.

"Oh, you're the human who got rid of Ultros and brought in the boats with those rogues. Don't take it personally that I'm no fan of the nobles." She affirmed.

"I don't really blame you. I got to meet said nobles. One's an airhead with boobs bigger than her brain, one's stuffing her face right now, the smart one is too much of a shrinking violet, and the only fully sane one is basically keeping the country together on strings and is far too busy to actually help the people." Taeko said as she started laughing.

She was a no-nonsense woman, but hearing another noble basically roast the other nobles was cathartic.

"Cheyenne, I heard the door ring."

Taeko would meet Shawnee and Odawa, both broad shouldered, long haired elves with tanned skin, similar Native American features, and brown hair. Shawnee had thicker eyebrows and brown eyes while Odawa had thinner brows and blue eyes. Their outfits reminded Taeko of John Redcorn only with different colors.

"Shawnee, dear…that's one of our new neighbors. Count Maelstrom." Cheyenne said before something fell out of her pocket.

Taeko took it up to see in a positive pregnancy test.

"Congrats on the new addition to the family." Taeko said politely as she snatched it back.

"I wanted to make that a surprise." Cheyenne said. "But I guess that's ruined. Cheyenne Fox, councilwoman for Beatitudo. I hope you're not going to tamper with the forest. We-"

"No need to. I have no reason to mess with the woods." Taeko said with a cheeky grin. "But about the business I was asking about?"

"Follow me. The building over there is our office of sorts." Shawnee said as Taeko followed them to a nearby building. "Our signage has our hours of operation."

To his relief, they were just like Marnie's and he looked at his options.

"Ok, I want to place an order for the construction of a large shed, ten sheep, a pair of [Shears], a [Silo], and a [Heater]." Taeko mused before telling them the address.

"That's Keya's place." Odawa noted.

"I bought the place from her. She wanted to leave the island, and I gave her a million and a way off the island." Taeko said politely. "She wanted to get away…after her husband's passing."

"How kind of you…" Cheyenne said. "Now about the placement?"

"Can the [Big Shed] be on the green part of the land against the rocks on one side with the [Silo] on the other side?" Taeko requested.

"Yeah, it can be done in a few hours. That'll be 53,400 Gold." Shawnee said right as Taeko paid 60,000.

"Keep the change." Taeko said kindly.

"Thank you, Count Maelstrom." Odawa said, shaking Takeo's hand.

"Well, there is something you could help the community with. We have a thief problem…a group of small-time hoods roaming the woods stealing from the community. They'll be out in the woods somewhere. If you can stop them, you'll have the locals' gratitude." Cheyenne said before sighing. "Seeing that they haven't committed a murder, killing them won't be needed."

"I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for your services." Taeko said, going for the door.

"One last thing. My wife, Catoria, runs Bang for Your Buck, just up the road. Think of it as a community selling bin where you can sell unwanted or valuable items. There's a setup for you to box and label so you can receive payment by that day or the next business day. It's open every day from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m." Odawa said as Taeko thanked him for words.

"Have the thieves gone after her?" Taeko asked, opening the door.

"Not to my knowledge." Cheyenne said. "Though considering my sister-in-law is ex-Royal Guard and that's public knowledge."

Taeko left, pleased that things worked out. He got back in his car to get a call from Cassidee.

"I've seen them, the Kokiri thieves I was talking about. Thankfully, I locked the door and kept out of sight. They're still prowling around." Cassidee said.

"On my way." Taeko said before hanging up.

He returned there and deliberately skidded on the road. He saw four Kokiri fleeing on grass green [IV Sanchezes], with one of them splitting off in another direction which got Taeko get a glance of her before she disappeared from sight. Not wasting time, he parked his car in his garage before getting his [Sanchez].

"Bad time to ask for a car?" Cassidee asked.

"I'll get you one." Taeko said.

"I don't think you'll have to go far. I found a map of Keya's or her husband's…I think they were there to calculate when they're hiding out and I added some marks on it…" Cassidee said, showing it to him.

"Well shit, they are literally on my property." He remarked.

Cassidee smirked asking if she could call the police and he told her no.

"Let me handle it." He said going for his [Bifta] instead.

"Can I come?" She asked eagerly.

"I need you here to offer drinks to the Fox brothers who are coming after to begin some construction and delivery. I'll handle it myself." Taeko said before driving off using the pathway up into the woods.

He drove with the radio off wanting to keep his wits as he navigated the woods. He sensed out and picked up three energy signatures. He arrived near a small clearing with a tree that was clearly someone's place of residence looking straight out of the fantasy novel. He spied the bikes and three of the four Kokiri elves. Keeping hidden, he used [Observe] to get their names.

Chisa who looked like a young Chi-Chi in the early days of Dragon Ball with similar light skin, Asian features, slim frame with a bit of curve, long straight black hair reaching mid-back with short square bangs, and large black eyes. She wore forest green overalls with a sleeveless white undershirt, and reddish boots. [Observe] noted her as demure and labeled her cup size at B. She even sounded like her.

Tara was a doppelganger of Terra from Teen Titans, being rather thin with fair skin, big blue eyes, black eyebrows, and straight waist-length blonde hair. She wore a long camouflage shirt that went past her waist with tight black spandex compression shorts that reached her upper thighs, black fingerless gloves, and black socks in green shoes. [Observe] noted her as a bit insecure and labeled her cup size as AA. She was a doppelganger down to the voice.

"Not surprised. I didn't think Terra was that flat." Taeko thought.

Lastly, there was Cleo…a fairly short drow (about Chisa's height) with mocha skin, long white hair that went to her waist, and green eyes. Comparatively to the other, she was fairly curvy and noticeably the bustiest of the four at C. She wore a green crop top, black shorts, and green sandals. [Observe] noted her as the leader, a Wood Elf, and her cup size to be C.

[Observe] had mentioned how old they really were, ironically…Chisa was youngest at eighteen compared to the other two.

"You think we got away?" Chisa asked. "Maybe we should have gone with Tera to the Gale. Keya doesn't have a car like that."

"Maybe a new lover." Cleo said as Tara paled. "What's wrong?"

"I just realized something…that house had a noble's flag flying." Tara stated.

"But Keya's not a noble." Chisa said. "Maybe the Sucios bought her out…"

"Tera's folks…she would have told us before taking off into town. Plus they're still not nobles."

Hearing that, Taeko got in his ride and drove away. He realized if he was going to have this control under heel…he needed to go for the Sucios. He returned to the farm as Cassidee was giving Tom and Logan treats.

"What do you know about the Sucios?" Taeko asked.

"Elves from the East, a wealthy mercantile family. They're baronets….basically rich people who are not nobles but have a small amount of influence. They tend to badly want to be nobles…they'll kiss ass to them too. Why?" Cassidee asked.

"That lone girl that went in the opposite direction…is a Sucio. Tera Sucio." Taeko said.

"Well, I see this is something you can use to your advantage. You see, the Sucios are also in part dabbling in some illegal trades, at least enough to control a few neighborhoods in Portland." Cassidee said.

"You know where they live?" Taeko asked.

"A mansion in Portland Beach. If you're going to Portland…here." Cassidee said, giving him a key. "It's to a hideout in Portland, in the Red Light District. I won this in a card game, but I never used it…mostly because I'd take my chances in the woods than go to Portland."

[You've obtained the Portland Safehouse (III).]

"Thanks…I guess I'll take the boat." Taeko said.

He snatched a few things from home and went to the docks. He was going to take a boat, but decided to use SecuroServ to pay for a helicopter ride to the Red Light District of Portland. Because it was Yelenhelm, he did get a discount. Being dropped off in front of the warehouse, Taeko looked around, seeing it really did look like Portland. He went into the hideout to check it out, finding it rudimentary and smaller. The [Game] did offer to make it nicer for five grand, and he paid up. While it was still small, the place had a proper bed, kitchenette (which meant the microwave wasn't on top of the washing machine), fridge, closet, and a bathroom. The television was replaced with a moderately sized flatscreen on a small coffee table near the bed. A computer was on another small desk near the bed. He got his aqua jacket out of the closet to put on before he sauntered out to his garage getting in his [Zentorno] before getting out onto the road.

"Man, the detail in this is insane. I'm surprised there's even prostitutes considering….the shortage of men." Taeko said to himself. "Considering the ports, I won't be surprised if they're going after humans and tourists."

He drove for Portland Beach having no issue finding the place.

"They even have [Mafia Sentinels] out in front…" He said. "I don't sense her here…so she's likely not here yet."

He went up to the stairs to see a collared dog, a big black Cane Corso which barked at him. Growling, it came down to intimidate him. Using a bit of telekinesis, he stopped the dog from pouncing.

"There, there…girl. I'm not here to harm you or your master." Taeko said before petting the dog. "Now be a dear and let them know they have a guest."

He dropped the hold on the dog as it barked and turned around to go up the stairs leaving Taeko to wait. The dog returned with a human woman…who was a doppelganger.

"June? Well, damn. She's a lot shorter than I thought she'd be…she's barely over five feet. Those heels are also probably adding an inch. [Observe] is placing her at C…damn Kyu…" He thought.

She was a gorgeous, light-skinned woman that had a slender yet curvaceous frame and yellow eyes with dark red eyeshadow paired off with matching lipstick. Her raven hair was long with bangs framing the right side of her face and a top knot with a skull band. She wore a sleeveless maroon cheongsam, a sleeveless flak jacket, crimson arm sleeves, a black sash, and dark heeled ankle boots. She carried a morning star whip.

"I was watching you. Props for you for calming Nyla…not many can do that. Especially with cane corsos trained for battle…" June said, looking up at him. "And I guess I shouldn't be surprised…as you are a fellow adventurer. June."

"Taeko Maelstrom." Taeko said formally. "I'm here for the Sucios…you are their bodyguard?"

"Oh no, I'm soon to be Miss Sucio. But I assume you're not here to only play nice with the rich folk." June said.

"Yes, and no. But I think I'll keep things close to the vest for now." Taeko said as he was let in. "I have a battle pet myself…two of them. A golden lab and a calico cat. My darling boys."

[Cues BGM: GTA III OST - Salvatore Leone's Gentleman Club]

"Maybe we should go adventuring sometime. Monsters are in Yelenhelm as much as anywhere else…been a while since I had a partner." June said. "Laozu's more of a tactical planner than a combatant. The brains."

"And you love me for it." Laozu said.

Lao was an elven man who appeared to be in his early 30s, with a Fu Manchu mustache, dark hair tied to a wolf's tail. He wore a black chang pao with the symbol for his family on the front along with gold colored sandals.

"I've heard of you…the human who slayed Ultros. You have my hands…he was just as long of a problem as those pirates. The fact that you did it single-handedly when the military couldn't makes me glad I don't pay tax." Laozu said as Taeko laughed. "What can I do for you?"

"I heard you're the major racket in Portland and I wanted to make some connections. I'm new in town after all…and eager for work." Taeko said. "An alliance of sorts so we don't step in each other's way."

Laozu had an idea.

"Well, I'm interested in your products both legitimate and illegitimate. I run a shipping company, I export plenty of things that people want. Import things as well." Laozu said. "And I do have work for you, of course. Portland is a hot pot, and the Sucios need to stay in control to which you can help with that. But I want to reward you…"

They heard the door open and close.

"Who was-that better not be Tera." Laozu said.

"Nyla. Get Tera down here." June ordered as Nyla left the door.

"So you got yourself enhanced by the elves too." Taeko said. "I could sense it."

"Not bad on the uptake." June mused. "And yeah, it's pretty sweet."

Then Tera came down…and she was a near perfect doppelganger to Toph Beifong. Her eyes were only a brighter shade of green given Tera was not blind. She had a rather short stature at a mere three foot eight with a smallish frame and chest. Taeko did it ironically, amusing that despite her small size she was still a cup size bigger than Tara. Her hair is dark and is held up in a bun almost as big as her head with a headband. She wore a pink, long sleeved kimono with dark pink edges that went to her ankles, a simple white obi around her waist, and a pair of dirty white sandals with dark straps. Taeko could tell she did not like wearing it.

"So I want to give you my daughter's hand to serve your family as your concubine of sorts. Despite looking like a munchkin, she's 30." Laozu said. "Tera, pack your things."

Tera left to do so, hiding the grin that she was finally free of this place.

"I don't think she knows." Taeko said as June snickered.

"I'll leave that to you." June said as Laozu winked.

"And her mom…" Taeko asked.

"Likely to seek you out in a week once I cut her off…consider her a bonus. She's too demure for me and I need a clean break to restart my family with someone I actually love. She couldn't produce healthy kids…and Tera can't make children." Laozu said in a low tone.

Tera had come down a pair of suitcases.

"Seeing that I'm likely never to come back to this place." Tera said before spitting right in June's face. "Goodbye."

Tera expected them to yell, but June just calmly wiped it off looking completely unbothered. Realizing she was not going to get a reaction, Tera left with Taeko.

"You. Me. Her old bedroom." June said excitedly as he had a grin.

[Music Ends]

Taeko was quiet as he walked to his car with her. He let her in as he got in to drive off. Partly, she was glad to be free of that place…all she had to do was figure out how to get away from him.

"So what's your deal? One of my dad's henchmen?" Tera asked as he turned off the radio.

"No. Tell me, the names Chisa, Tara, and Cleo sound familiar to you?" Takeo asked as she went pale.

"No…" She lied.

"Well, I ask because I saw some Kokiris fleeing from my property after my farmhand saw them try to rob the place. Found out their hideout was a big tree that's apparently on my property. Overheard them Overheard a few things about you and your family." Taeko said as Tera's bravado went down. "As a noble…I might have to do something."

Tera wondered if this was karma for all the things she did, but she simply slid her hand on his leg, rubbing it a bit.

"I don't think you need to do that…" Tera said, trying to sound sultry.

With her sounding like Toph, it came off more laughable. It was clear she was trying to seduce, and it was obvious she was not exactly experienced in doing that. However, he decided to mess with her by moving her hand to his crotch and seeing her cheeks go red was priceless.

"I fancied you a tough one." Taeko teased.

Tera stammered. Taeko noticed on the map there were mission blips…that he'd look into later as he turned into the Porter Tunnel. According to the map, the tunnel went underwater with exits to Gorgeous Gale, Burnside Vale, Staunton, and the highway between Kiba's Woods and Pax Animi.

"Never tried to seduce someone before?" Taeko asked. "Your hand is still there."

"It's not that impressive. You're still just human…" Tera said, giving it a squeeze. "A young one…with more balls than brains."

"I don't know, I did go after you first." Taeko pointed out. "And got you groping me."

"I'm only doing it to protect my friends…and get you ready. I figured that I'd suck you off so you're in a better mood." Tera said with faux bravado. "We elves are highly desired by human men."

"Well then, let me help you." Taeko said, unzipping his fly and freeing his member.

Taeko was surprised that it looked slightly more girthy, but he had a sneaking feeling it was due to that elf blessing. Tera, on the other hand, was a deer in headlights before giving it a slight rub with her hands. Taeko kept focused on driving an even pace in the tunnel.

"And I have your word you won't kick my friends out." Tera said, stroking his member.

"It would help, but it would also depend on your friends. Would they be willing to do the same for you?" Taeko said.

Given how quick she put it in her mouth, he took it as a yes. She was a bit clumsy, but he would give her due credit for trying. Her mouth slowly sinks down around his hard length, then draws back up. Tera decided to say a bit of dirty talk pulling the member out of his mouth. She slipped up and said something she wished she could take back. It did get Taeko's calm resolve to briefly drop for a split second.

"Daddy?" Taeko said, keeping focus on the road.

She saw his member throb and she decided to play along. In lieu of an answer, she went down on him to lick the underside. Taeko decided not to question it simply using a hand to give Tera a bit of a helping hand.

"You started putting even more effort in when you called me that." Taeko said teasingly. "If that's what you want, then I'll think that's what I'll let you call me. Any issues?"

He pulled her off him as her drool dripped down.

"No, daddy~"

He let her get back to it.

"Damn it, why did I say it so easily? I could have called him My Lord or Master…but why did I call him daddy?" She thought as she kept at it.

The tunnel cut the trip time significantly as they were soon back up on the highway. The highway between Beatitudo and Pax Animi had a massive bridge over water plainly called Yelenhelm West Bridge. The radio came on automatically to a news report reportedly that there was some sort of magic accident on the bridge causing it to be closed down for repairs for a week.

"Oh well." Taeko said before driving back to the woods. "Looks like I'm ready to cum."

Not wanting a mess, she clamped down on the tip of his cock hitting the back of her throat, as Taeko grunted, emptied the load building up. She was doing her best to swallow and managed to get it all before coming up. A spurt of it did get her face, but Taeko had a pleased look as he fixed himself up.

"Well, I am in a better mood." Taeko said.

The taste, the sensation, the warmth between her legs was swirling. Tera did not want to admit she fully enjoyed it.

"And you'll keep your word…" Tera mumbled out.

"I won't remove your friends…after all you're going to be living there with that." Taeko remarked.

"Thank you, daddy…" Tera said without thinking.

He turned in the hidden dirt road that led right to the base for the Pop Rocks which got their attention as the three came out. Tara had a bat in hand.

"Who dares?" Cleo said as Taeko came out.

"Count Taeko Maelstrom, that's who." Taeko affirmed. "Earl of Sunshade."

The look on their faces was nothing short of priceless as he explained that he did own the land around here. Even more so to reveal that he knew they were the petty thieves as Tera got out of the car wiping the sperm off her face with her sleeves. Taeko let her go up to her friends and hung back to let them talk. He said he needed to make a call and walked in another direction.

"You snitched?" Tara asked.

"He already knew…he followed you guys and overheard you're talking. Then he just tracked my family down." Tera said as Cleo looked sheepish.

"I don't want to lose my home." Cleo said worriedly.

"You won't. I managed to convince him not to…" Tera said bashfully before her tone turned sharp.

"So what happened?" Cleo said.

"My sperm donor gave Taeko my hand…as basically a concubine and servant." Tera said.

"That's…actually not totally a bad thing." Cleo said. "He'd have to make sure you're cared for. And you get some di-"

Tera glared at her.

"You got freedom from your family…plus you can live with us." Cleo remarked.

"Chisa, can you go inside for a moment? I need to talk to Cleo and Tara alone." Tera said as Chisa went inside.

Tera cited that while he did convince him, there was the matter of the others getting in his good graces. She did mention what she did, but never mentioned that he called him daddy.

"Well…the way I see…we throw a little at him. Plus, I got forest magic…I can get paid to basically maintain the woods." Cleo said.

"Was he weird…did me make you call him daddy or something?" Tara asked as Tera cringed.

"No, he didn't." Tera said to Tara's relief.

"But what about Chisa? You know she's naive when it comes to this…" Tera remarked. "Should we-"

"No, maybe he'll like her innocence. Never know with humans." Cleo said as Tara rolled her eyes.

Tera went off to find Taeko, finding himself on the phone before hanging up.

"I know…I called you daddy and all that, but…"

"I'm not going to make you call me that in front of your friends. I don't think your friends need to know you like things that way." Taeko said as she blushed.

"Thank you, daddy." Tera said as he picked up to put on his shoulder.

"Let me walk you back." Taeko said as Tera groaned in embarrassment. "Anyone ever mentioned you're the near perfect lookalike and soundlike to Toph?"

"Too many times…" Tera said as they returned and he put her down.

Chisa was back outside.

"Count Maelstrom, we're more than grateful for your kindness and we considering an honor to serve you." Cleo said bowing. "I offer my skills as a Wood Elf to maintain your woods and any plants on Yelenhelm."

"Ok then. I'll need all of you to come over to my farm…there's someone you need to apologize. I'll meet you over there." Taeko said getting back in his car and driving away.

The four walked down the path to find Cassidee there and Taeko arrived to explain that she was her farmhand and their superior. The four were all a bit nervous knowing they did not treat Cassidee with too much kindness.

"Except for Tera…technically she's a concubine." Taeko said as Cassidee giggled. "Her dad practically threw her at me."

"Well damn, you get a gaggle of munchkin elves." Cassidee said before getting a cheeky grin. "So what's going to be their duties aside from the obvious one?"

"Ironically, on paper Tera's basically a trophy concubine. Even if her dad was tossing her…I do have to keep appearances…so there's not much for her to really do. I mean she's free to do whatever on Yelenhelm. So aside from light duties and I guess…not being out too late, it's all blase." Taeko remarked.

Cassidee was not too jealous. If anything, she relished the light work…as she found it good exercise. Given the outfit she had to wear…she wanted to keep in good shape.

"As for Cleo, general upkeep for the forest and plant life." Taeko before asking Cleo. "How are you with crops?"

Cleo had a nervous sweatdrop come down her face.

"Not so good…sort of the last of my tribe of wood elves. Trees and flowers are my strong suit. I can speed up the growth to a few hours with a bit of energy, but for everything else…at best I can speed growth by just one day." Cleo said.

He turned over to Tera and Chisa.

"As for you two…you can assist wherever you are needed. Occasionally, I'll have myself or Cassidee send you to get hay for the sheep." Taeko remarked. "Aside from that, you're dismissed for now."

"If you're going to have her as a trophy…maybe consider having her live with you. Considering it's a short walk from her friends." Cassidee remarked. "People would find it odd if she wasn't…"

"Yeah…you're right." Taeko said.

The Game informed him that Tera would be found in his room at times. He guessed Tera was the exception in getting her own room.

"I'll go unpack." Tera said going inside.

"You two. Go to the barn there and check on the new sheep." Cassidee said, turning to Chisa and Tara.

Both compiled.

"Fun fact about wood elves, they work better if they're naked. They do it to be one with nature…they're more comfortable." Cassidee said with a little smirk.

Cleo would have called that a dirty stereotype because she knew what Cassidee was doing. Cassidee wanted to get back at her giving what she and friends did. Not wanting to risk Cassidee trying something on her friends, Cleo bit the bullet and admitted that she was partially true.

"I'd be willing to work in the nude…but I'd have to ask about payment." Cleo remarked.

"Given you, Tara, and Chisa count as farmhand assistants, you'll receive weekly pay from the Yelenhelm Agricultural Fund." Taeko said repeating what the Game told him.

He was surprised that the fund would also cover Elly May's pay but he was not complaining at all. Yeah, he would get any of that money, but he considered that the price of a decent staff.

"I mean something extra. About 8,000." Cleo said. "Don't worry. It's a one-time payment…just for stuff for my house."

"Ok." Taeko said giving the money to Cassidee. "Cass, see to it she gets this at the end of the day and do leave us so that I can talk to Cleo."

Cassidee left as he keeled down grabbing Cleo's behind getting a surprised little moan from her.

"It's funny, I know another wood elf. Even if she didn't leave in the woods…she started wearing less out when she moved countryside." Taeko said. "So I think I'll leave an order for you to be naked on my land. Don't worry, you'll be free to wear whatever you want when you head out…or when I ask for you to put something on when we have certain guests over. But other than that…I want you one with nature just how you like. But you can keep your shoes if you need them"

She squeaked as he pulled down her shorts, biting her lip. Her behind appeared firm but far softer upon touch. Between her legs was a medium-sized clump of white curls enough to cover her womanhood and stopped shy of the panty line.

"I hope you don't mind…Wood Elves aren't too big on shaving but because of being Kokiri or something, I don't make enough to be visible if I wear pants…" Cleo said awkwardly. "I got have hair under my arms if you're into that."

Given she had to lift them to get Taeko to take off top off, she showed them off. Taeko was a bit more focused on removing her crop top, freeing her chest. Her nipples were cherry sized and a darker shade of brown. Cleo put her arms down…her blush not going away as she was now naked out in the open. She tried to cover herself acting if she was not slightly embarrassed.

Taeko found her clothing aside on the pouch.

"Now I believe you have work to do." Taeko said, slapping her behind.

"Yes, sir." She said moving to the green area of the farm to get to work.

Cassidee came up to Taeko from behind, her chest pressing into his back.

"Not going to lie, that was pretty hot…but if you haven't fucked an elf yet. I think your first elf shouldn't be an inexperienced shortstack." Cassidee said in a whisper. "Besides, I still need to give you a proper thank you."

"You don't have to do that to thank me." Taeko remarked.

"But I want to." Cassidee said slyly. "I don't feel I have to, but I definitely want to."

She led him inside.

"Besides, I'm not going to pass on this…it's been a long while. Several years." Cassidee said. "Though that's my fault for moving back here. Not that I'm complaining now."

"Mind if I check on Tera real quick?" Taeko asked.

"I'll wait in my room and get ready for you." Cassidee said, sauntering off to her room. "Don't keep too long."

He went to his room to find Tera had unpacked and his room now had a second dresser. His bed was also a tad bigger with a canopy which he had no complaints over.

"I like the room." Tera said. "Bigger than I had before."

"Well, I'm glad you think so. You're free to stay with your friends if you want." Taeko said.

She had kicked off her sandals to climb the bed, at ease with how plush it was, but Taeko was more focused on her rump as he came closer. He grabbed it eliciting a small squeak from Tera.

"Never had a chance to do that while on the way here." Taeko said. "Firm."

He let go before leaving the room, whistling a tune before going into Cassidee's room. There she was, poised naked on her bed. Her large bust was offset by the cookie sized areolas and stiffening cherry-sized nipples. Her nails were painted red as she had a coat of lipstick on.

"It's a good thing you didn't take me right away…I was able to clean myself up. Good thing I go Brazilian. Hope you don't mind." Cassidee said as Taeko was taking off his jacket and shirt.

"Suits you. Besides, I have a farmhand back on the mainland. She's a blonde too...just tall, jacked, and plenty of fuzz. So this is a nice change of pace." He said hastily undressing.

"Then can we skip the foreplay?" Cassidee said, leaning back. "It's been far too long."

He grabbed her legs and took the plunge into her, getting a pleased moan from Cassidee. She was quite pleased and rather tight. He let go of her legs, letting her wrap them around his waist.

"Not bad…you've done this before." Cassidee said.

"Give or take, plenty but possibly less than you." Taeko said, beginning to fondle her chest.

As Taeko was clapping Cassidee's cheeks, they had a voyeur. Tera was peeping in seeing the lewd display, biting her lip. She was of course touching herself under her kimono. However, seeing that they were changing position, Tera swiftly got herself out of sigh…deciding to finish in the bedroom.

Cassidee shuddered as he finally came to empty his load inside her as he requested. She was panting, thinking it really had been a while as she got off him. His seed seeped out of her as she wiped sweat of her brow.

"Not bad." She remarked before she slapped her behind. "Pfft…really?"

"You know it." Taeko said. "I could keep going but…I got a job to do. It's already going to be evening and I need to check on this farm before going back to the mainland. It's evening already."

Taeko got up before cleaning himself up to get dressed.

"I'm still going to need a car." Cassidee remarked before Taeko got his clothes back on.

"Here." Taeko said, giving her car keys. "It's for my [Bifta] which is now yours. And I'll leave some money for you to get some clothes. I'll take the money for Cleo."

He left her 10k. Cassidee did not mind the small amount as she simply wanted to have some pairs of anything, now that she had a place to store them. She stumbled off to shower as Taeko left the home to see Chisa and Tara return.

"Sheep are fluffed." Tara said. "Sorry, we took so long…Chisa had the bright idea to sleep on top of a sheep."

Cleo came up.

"Cleo, why are you naked?" Tara asked.

"It's for her to fulfill her duties as keeper of nature around here. Apparently her powers work better when she's naked." Taeko said casually.

"I think you said that was a stereotype, Cleo." Chisa remarked.

"Well it's not complete bullshit…" Cleo said with a sigh. "Regardless, worked on the trees and whatever crops you had. So I'm going home."

Taeko nodded.

"As for you two…you're free to go home. I'll handle things from here." Taeko said as Chisa and Tara bowed before leaving.

The Game had a few things to say.

[Cleo's forest magic aids you greatly. Trees will grow far faster. Flowers will now only need 25% of time to grow and all other crops will need one day less to grow. Her power is limited only to Sunshade Farm.]

Guess I'm moving my [Bee Houses] and digging a flower box here next season, Taeko thought.

[You can now [Fast Travel] to the north side of your property. You can now access the Pop Pack's Base, explore it for plenty of extra scenes at your leisure.]

He went over to the new shed placing down all 25 [Looms] along with a chest for storage. With everything in place, he went to his room to the hidden warp pad to finally return home to the valley.

Taeko was ready to have a hot bath and relax at his home. His house phone rang and he answered it to hear Abigail.

"Hey Abs, what's up?" Taeko asked.

"Just checking in, how was Yelenhelm?" Abigail asked.

"Got a business setup with assistants, even got roped into taking a 'concubine' of sorts. You know, noble shit." Taeko mused.

"Concubine any competition?" She playfully snarked.

"Not really. She's both infertile munchkin size. One major plus, she looks like Toph from Avatar." Taeko remarked. "Even sounds like her."

"Damn…that has the potential to be kinky. She like her in personality?" Abigail asked.

"She doesn't really have the spine of Toph…she doesn't have any powers." Taeko remarked. "Bits resemble Toph though…"

"Yeah, well…I wanted to let you know that I won't be able to go to the mines with you as planned tomorrow. I have to watch the shop while my parents go on a short little lover's trip for the next three days." Abigail remarked. "And Maru's out on a trip with her dad to get research materials…so she and him will be gone for two days. Penny's also leaving town for a bit…apparently to pick her mom up from Forjado. Pam was trying to cook mushrooms and she kinda picked mushrooms of the more drug trippy kinda. Somehow she ended up in Forjado in a hot dog suit near the police station. Only reason Penny's not too upset is because she didn't do it on purpose so Penny's being nice and helping her. So you're going to have to entertain yourself for most of this week…especially since I have to do some traveling to get some inventory so I won't be in town tomorrow."

"All right, I'll manage. Later." Taeko said before hanging up the home phone.

"Welcome back, boss." Elly May said. "Things on the farm are running smoothly. Collected some products and materials."

"Excellent." Taeko said as his cell phone rang. "Hang on."

He answered to hear Velma on the other end.

"V, what's up?" Taeko remarked.

"Just wanted to remind you to get on selling the green." Velma said. "Also considering Yelenhelm…you'll need a second assistant focused purely on your business interests there. Thankfully thanks to your noble status, paying the assistant won't be an issue at all as long as she sticks to Yelenhelm."

Taeko thought about it and explained to Velma about Cassidee.

"That can work. But you're going to need an asset aside from your farm and a place for Cassidee to have her own space. Also hopefully an office or sorts for you to plan operations." Velma remarked. "I suggest using any Yelenhelm based websites to get more information."

"I'll get it on it." Taeko said. "Goodbye, V…and thank you."

[GAME QUICKSAVED! Hurry back.]

(A/N: Yeesh, this one was even longer than the last, but I had to do with this story. Introducing bit characters and exploring Yelenhelm. Yeah, Tera has daddy issues (considering how things are in reality, who doesn't.) and it's manifested through years of being treated as delicate by her coddling mother, her father's disdain, her rebellion, and not getting any male attention due to her condition. So her Taeko calling daddy…is something she doesn't want to admit to herself that she likes that. Taeko's just rolling with it. Yes, Gorgeous Gale is essentially Arcadia Bay transplanted. Burnside Vale's Shoreside Vale. Originally, I wasn't going to have Staunton there, but I realized it made sure to have it. Are elf versions of the LiS cast going to appear? Yes, excluding an obvious few. I have plenty of missions planned going forward. Next chapter wraps this first day up.)
