He had done it. Put some wines and mead in the casks to age, another batch of wines in the kegs, and went out chopping wood. The popularity for his nightclub had gone up as the evening sky was bright. Elly May had returned, giving him the payment for wines.
"Taeko, I'm taking the rest of the evening off. I really want to marathon this show Candace introduced me to…" Elly May said before leaving for her capsule home.
Taeko was not too upset. She worked hard and he let her go as he got the new batch of wine and ice cream from the makers. The ice cream was really for the house. As for the wines, he would take the ten bottles of [Ancient Fruit Wine] to be put into the [Casks] when it discovered a little quirk. Because the Azorium wine that was already in there was at gold rank, any new bottles of the same flavor seemingly synced to that level. Taeko did not complain, only a bit upset at himself for not noticing it sooner. Given all the [Casks] were in use, he decided to take out the gold quality [Cheese] and [Goat Cheese] to sell, putting the wine in their place.
"I need seeds." Taeko said as he munched on a slice of [Pizza].
With the cheeses in the [Selling Bin], he readied for the walk to JojaMart with Logan by his side. But he'd get a phone call from Maria…that she'd be departing the gang for greener pastures with her kid. He wasn't too bothered…even if he would miss her.
"I won the lotto…and with my kid's paternal grandparents offering me a job out in Forjado, I…"
"Say no more. You were in it to make your due for your kid…and well, I'm not upset at you. Did you tell them about the lotto win?" Taeko asked.
"They don't know. I'm not going to go crazy with the cash…I can't. But I did send you some of that cash, think of it as my way of saying thanks for having my back. I guess this is goodbye…and in case you're asking for one last roll in the hay…I'm already leaving town and I'm trying to make things work with the dad." Maria mused.
"Ruiz, don't sweat. I hope it works out…kid needs both his parents. You didn't need to send the money, but thanks…Goodbye Maria, good luck in your life ahead." Taeko said, hanging up. "You'll be sorely missed."
He checked the mailbox to find the letter from Maria…along with a quarter million gold.
"Well that kid won't be starving." Taeko said. "But now I need some action…"
Despite wanting to go back to SG, he knew he had to deal with the products at Sunshade and headed off for Sunshade Farm. Firstly, to take all of the popsicles made and deliver them to Alex. He had returned to Yelenhelm moments after. He got out the dozen [Mead] made to shove into the [Selling Bin].
Walking along the beach of Sunshade Farm, he collected the expected trash from the [Crab Pots]. He found four [Broken CDs], six pieces of [Driftwood], and three small piles of [Trash] that he put into the [Recycling Machines] after a few minutes produced four [Refined Quartz], eighteen pieces of [Wood], and nine bits of [Coal]. He put away everything but the wood as he intended to put that with the pile going to the lumber mill. He texted to pick up the wood to deliver to [Sunset Mill] on his behalf before leaving it out for her to get. He sensed Tera was here and grinned. She surprisingly seemed okay with sharing his room and had moved some things in. She was in a seafoam green kimono this time sitting on the bed watching television. He noticed she was wearing black lipstick.
"I thought you hated wearing those things." Taeko said.
"Just the pink one. I only put this one because I heard the queen was visiting." Tera said. "She's not here, is she?"
"She's been gone for hours." Taeko said. "So you can take it off…I need you to do your due duty."
Tera watched Taeko drop his shorts to see the erection that was straining on his underwear. She bit her lip seeing it again.
