Chapter Seventy-Five
Missing in Action
In the Van a couple of streets away, Cam and Barry sat in the front whilst James and Dahlia sat in the back preparing the medical equipment if needed.
James was frowning as he studied everything, yet Dahlia was worried as she helped.
"Dahlia?" James asked as he studied her worried face.
The wolf looked up looking pale.
"I just hope they're okay!" she said, "Especially Jun!"
James placed a hand on his apprentice's shoulder and opened his mouth to speak, yet as he did a phone rang in the front and Barry picked it up.
"Talk to me!" he said then his eyes widened "Jun?"
Dahlia looked over as she heard her lover's name.
"What?" he said "Which Street? Okay we're on our way!" he turned to Cam "Step on it!" he barked to which Cam nodded and gritted his teeth before starting the engine and driving forward.
James and Dahila held on in the back as the Rhino drive.
"You're what?" Barry spoke into the phone whilst Dahila listened in anxiously "You're chasing a couple of gangsters?"
Dahlia frowned and strained her pointed ears to listen in but she could only hear muffled voices on the other side of the phone.
"Jun, what's going on…what? Oh shit!" he said, yet no sooner did those words leave his mouth than a rumbling was heard in front of them followed by a shockwave and the windscreen shattered before them before the van was blown backwards!
The occupants didn't get a chance to scream as they were blown backwards by the blast!
The Van rolled over at least three or four times before it landed back on it's wheels and upright if not covered in dents!
Cam and Barry were shell shocked as they sat in the front seat still held in place by their seatbelts, yet they sported a few cuts and bruises.
"Barry?" Cam asked as he shook off stars "You okay?"
Barry shook his head as he looked around.
"What was that?" he asked concerned, then looked in the back to see Dahila and James groaning and bleeding with the medical equipment everywhere!
"Oh man!" he cried, still groggy but concerned for the two medics in the back as he took off his seat belt and clambered into the back to check on the wolf and chimpanzee.
"Guys! Guys?!" he cried.
Dahlia was on her front bleeding heavily from her forehead as well as sported a few cuts from the broken glass from smashed test tubes, and James's arm was at an angle as was his leg as he lay against the back doors of the van also bleeding from the smashed glass.
"What's happened to the doc's?" Cam called over as he tried to start the van again yet the engine spluttered and choked.
"Still alive!" Barry called over "But injured!"
"Damn!" Cam growled as he kept trying to start the van so he could drive to where the explosion occurred and check on Tyroth, Jun, the Hamato Clan and Knights "Oh please start!" he commanded frustrated.
Just then, a shout was heard, and Cam looked up to see Jun running over, he was limping as well as suffering a few cuts and burns and his clothes were torn and dirty!
The Rhino opened his mouth to speak as well as try and start the engine, but it still spluttered and choked.
"Jun what happened!?" he shouted, "Where is everyone?"
Jun didn't answer as he saw Cam was trying to start the engine, he glowered and lifted both fists before slamming it down on the bonnet and it was then the engine sparked to life!
The tiger then leapt through the broken windscreen into the front seat.
"Guys! The Warehouse! It blew up!" he shouted, "They rigged a bomb in there!"
"Oh my God!" Cam cried and he slammed his foot down on the accelerator almost sending Barry flying as he tried to tend to James and Dahlia.
"It what!?" Barry cried as he checked over James and the Chimpanzee gave a yell of pain.
"My arm!" he yelled, half a human scream as well as a chimp cry "My leg!"
"I got you Doc!" Barry said, "Did you and Dahlia bring the water?"
"We always do!" James gasped painfully.
Barry looked over at Cam "Keep driving Hornhead! I'll look after James and Dahlia!"
"Dahila!" Jun cried with concern as he saw his girlfriend laying injured next to James.
"She'll be okay kid!" Barry yelled "Help Cam!"
Jun gritted his teeth, he wanted to be with Dahila but he knew he had to assist Cam as the rhino drove towards the explosion.
They soon arrived and the sight that greeted them was horrific!
There was broken glass, metal and rubble and smoke and flames rose high above turning the sky red and making them choke!
"By the Gods!" Cam cried in horror.
Jun looked at the rhino.
"I was chasing two of the leaders of the 95th Street Gang as they were telling everyone to leave the warehouse! Just as we were about a few feet away the explosion happened, and we were blown forward! I think I hit my head, but those bastards got away before I could recover!"
"Oh my Gods! The Guys!" Cam shouted, "What if they were in there!"
Jun looked equally terrified, and we went pale "Oh no! No!" he cried "I felt something was off! I should have stayed!"
"Snap out of it Stripes!" Cam shouted and looked over at Barry who had found the water from the well in a plastic bottle and started giving it to James and Dahlia.
"Come on guys!" Barry said, "We need you both!"
He gave some water to Dahlia first and he watched as the cuts closed and she looked up, her eyes fluttering.
"Barry?" she asked in a groggy voice "What…what happened?"
She then saw James in a bad way as Barry was trying to analyse his broken arm and leg.
"Oh my God James!" she cried seeing her mentor's condition.
James looked over at Dahlia.
"I…my arm…my right leg…" he said.
Dahlia swallowed hard as she looked over his condition and looked at Barry.
"What happened?" she asked.
"An explosion!" Barry said "The warehouse! It blew up!"
Dahlia gasped in shock and James's eyes despite his pain widened.
"Oh my God!" he cried.
Barry looked out the front to see Cam and Barry running over to the debris.
"Dahlia?" the warthog looked back at the female wolf nurse "Can you help James?"
Dahlia nodded.
"I'll take care of him! We'll be there in a moment! Help them!" she pointed at Jun and Cam to which Barry agreed and went to the front of the van to look for the Tiger and Rhino.
Dahlia watched him then turned to James before checking his arm and leg.
"Ah shit!" James grunted "I never imagined I'd….be the one…needing medical assistance!"
"Likewise!" Dahlia said wiping her sweaty forehead then gave him a sip of the water.
As she did, James's arm and leg snapped back into place and his cuts closed yet the blood remained.
James shook his head as he tried to shake off the grogginess and he saw the fire and destruction of the warehouse.
"Oh my God!" he cried as he struggled to his feet with Dahlia helping him and they climbed out the front as they couldn't get the back doors open due to the damage.
As they saw close up what remained of the warehouse they were horrified.
"Dear God Almighty!" James gasped.
Dahlia also stared in sadness and tears filled her eyes.
"They can't be…" she said.
"No! They can't!" James shook his head and he saw Cam, Jun and Barry searching the rubble.
"Guys!" Cam shouted from one area "Over here!" he was lifting some large concrete with his strength and Jun and Barry rushed over to find Sharky, Donatello, Jack and Sarah underneath and holding each other as well as staring in shock yet by some miracle not hurt, at the figures above them.
"Cam? Jun, Barry?" Jack coughed.
"Oh shit!" Jun shouted as he analysed them covered in dust "Are you hurt?"
"No, not much anyway!" Sharky said "We were thrown against the wall then this concrete trapped us within!"
"A few bruises and maybe burns!" Sarah commented "My fur's singed in places!"
"How did you find us?" Sharky asked.
"What happened?" Jun pulled them out of the gap they had been trapped under "Where are the others?"
Donatello went pale as he looked around.
"Mona? Mike? Raph?" he cried "Oh No! No!"
"Calm down Don!" Jun said grabbing Donatello's shoulders.
"We'll find them!" Barry shouted, "Jun! Get these guys to James and Dahlia!"
Jun nodded and quickly got the three Knights and the distressed purple masked turtle out of where they were trapped and to where the wolf and Chimpanzee were.
Meanwhile Cam and Barry searched the rest of the debris for the others.
"If they survived, the others have got to be around here!" Barry said, his stomach tight with fear.
As he went to another area of the destroyed warehouse, he saw some bricks move and he looked over, hope rising in his belly.
As the warthog investigated, he saw the bricks move more, then the figures of Percy, Kate and Michelangelo appeared.
Percy and Kate had appeared first covered with dust and bleeding and from what the warthog had seen, they had covered Michelangelo when the bomb went off!
"Hoppy! Whipper Viper!" Barry shouted, Cam not far behind "You guys alright?!"
"Arrggghhh Fuck!" Kate shouted as she lifted her hands to her head and they saw it was bleeding heavily and her sandy gold hair was soaked in blood and dripping, and Percy had some skin and clothes ripped off from the blast.
Michelangelo meanwhile was flat on his belly with his shell sticking up and he was knocked out cold.
Cam rushed over and checked the turtle over.
"He's still alive!" he reported "But he may have serious broken bones!"
He shouted over to Jun who rushed over with water from the well to give to the Viper and Grasshopper who took the water and drank it quickly to which their wounds healed yet the blood on their clothes and hair remained.
"Mikey!" Kate screamed as she saw Michelangelo laying there "Oh no! No please!"
Percy also knelt to his friend.
"Help Kate and Percy with Mikey!" Cam said as he and Barry went to search for the others.
Jun nodded.
"He's alive!" Jun said touching the turtle "But he needs medical attention!"
Kate and Percy wasted no time in digging Michelangelo out then lifting him up to take to James and Dahlia who at the same time were giving the Knights a drink of the magical water.
As Cam and Barry returned to searching, they soon came to the side facing the river and the ground began to move.
The Warthog and Rhino froze for a moment as they watched and soon a large red clawed paw appeared from underneath like some creature fighting its way out from under the earth!
"It's Big T!" they cried together and as they approached, they saw the Dragon claw his way out of the rubble covered in dust and he looked around.
"Tyroth!" Barry shouted "Boss! Thank Goodness!"
But the Dragon didn't seem to hear him as he looked at the devastating destruction around him and started to remember what had happened.
The Dragon then leaned back and let out a roar as well as something in his dragon tongue to which Cam and Barry fell backwards in shock.
As that happened the ground shook and the rubble trembled like marbles then more movement was seen as Amber and Sonia appeared from under what the stairs within was, bleeding and groaning.
"Brother!" she cried as she stumbled over.
"Uncle Tyroth!" Sonia coughed.
Tyroth looked over and his eyes widened.
"Little Sis!" he cried "How what...?"
"A bomb!" Amber cried "We…they blew the place up!"
Tyroth glowered furiously.
"A Bomb!" he shouted then looked around "Where is everyone!?"
"We recovered Jack, Sharky, Donatello, Sarah, Kate, Percy and Mike!" Cam said, "But we're still looking for the others!"
"Whose still not accounted for?" Amber asked as she cradled her arm.
Barry swallowed hard.
"Devina, Heather, Mona, Raph, Sephie, the Geckolings and Pandora!"
"Oh No!" Sonia cried.
Tyroth went pale.
"Oh Gods no!" he thought as he thought of his wife and kids and the memories of almost losing his wife twice came back to him.
"Help! Help! Over here!"
A couple of voices were soon heard, and the dragon turned around to hear them coming from behind him under a large section of the roof that had come down!
He raced over and using his strength he lifted it up and to his relief he saw the Geckolings there with their wings shielding Monalisa, Raphael and Sephie!
"Oh my babies!" he cried as tears filled his eyes and Cam, Barry and Sonia ran over to help.
"What happened?" Cam asked.
"I don't know!" Freya cried "But as the bomb went off, we were thrown to the ground and the roof came down, so we shielded mum, Aunt Mona and Uncle Raph, yet something stopped the roof from squashing us flat!"
"Odin was looking over us!" Tyroth cried as Barry picked up Sephie who was starting to regain consciousness and Cam helped up Raphael who had awoken and was coughing heavily.
Loki and Freya took Monalisa and pulled her away before Tyroth dropped the roof and he looked at the group before him.
"We still got Heather, Devina and Pandora to find!" Cam said.
Tyroth narrowed his eyes as he looked around.
"Get the others to James and Dahlia!" he said, "I'll look for the other three!"
Cam nodded and led the way with Raphael who was still coughing.
Sephie as she was helped by Barry looked at him.
"What happened?" she cried then she saw the warehouse and the memories came back to her.
"Oh my god!" she cried in fear.
"Those bastards planted a bomb in there!" Barry said, "We've managed to find most of you, but Heather, Devina and Pandora are still missing."
Sephie gasped in shock, and she looked at Monalisa who was looking dazed and confused and at Raphael who was trying to sign with his hands.
Meanwhile Tyroth kept searching the rubble until he finally located Devina and Heather, yet their conditions were not good as he saw Devina was out cold and Heather was in a mangled position and a beam was covering them both!
"Shit!" he cried then shouted over to the others to bring the water as he lifted the metal beam up off their bodies.
He pushed the beam aside then checked Heather over and to his horror he could feel her spine was snapped!
"No! Fairy girl!" he gasped as he cupped her cheek.
"Tyroth!" Jun ran over with James carrying a plastic cup of the magical water.
James's eyes widened as he saw Heather's condition.
"Oh no!" he cried "She's got a broken spine!" he grabbed the cup of water and brought it to Heather's lips.
He made sure she swallowed the water, and no sooner did he do so than the Dragonfly's spine snapped back into place, and she opened her eyes.
"James?" she cried looking at him.
"Heather, are you alright my dear?" James asked.
"I…I…" Heather looked around and she soon saw the destruction of the warehouse "I…what? What happened?"
"A bomb went off with everyone inside!" Tyroth reported as he gathered Devina into his arms, and he saw the Vampiress was started to babble a little.
"We'll get the bottom of what happened in good time!" James said, "But right now we need to get everyone seen too!"
Tyroth nodded then he counted all had been saved then he remembered there was one more.
"Pandora!" he cried, his eyes widening, and he looked around before handing Devina to Jun.
Tyroth's paled and he looked around then started to dig near where he had been buried as he had been closest to Pandora when it happened.
"Pandora! Oh God! Please!" he pleased "Please Odin! Oh Valhalla! Find her!"
He dug more and more at the debris until he finally saw something underneath, hope rising in his chest he clawed more at the bricks and metal until he finally uncovered the bloodied-up corpse of the Japanese woman Hanako!
Tyroth's eyes narrowed, and he grabbed the corpse before pulling her up to see that her throat had been slashed and there were third degree burns on her body as well as her clothes were ripped.
He glowered then threw the body aside to continue looking for Pandora, yet as he did, he saw something amongst the rubble, a round nubbed metal ball with a long chain!
Mr Swinger!
Tyroth reached for it and grabbed the ball then he saw the chain lead towards the river!
With his heart beating hard, Tyroth dug even harder at the rubble to see if he could find the hybrid, yet his efforts were in vain as he couldn't find her then he looked back to the river and his eyes widened and filled with tears and he began to think the worst!
"No! Oh Gods! No! No!" he looked at Mr Swinger, then at the strong current as the river rushed by and he looked to the sky, James, Heather, and Jun holding the unconscious Devina nearby watched him and they saw Mr Swinger in his paws as they connected the dots.
"Oh no!" Heather gasped as she covered her mouth as tears fell.
"The girl…." James mouthed.
"Raph and Mona's daughter?" Jun stuttered as he almost dropped Devina in shock "No…No! It can't be true!"
Tyroth clenched his paws as the grief filled his body and he screamed up into the air in devastation, so much so it echoed around the area, almost like thunder….
Meanwhile thousands of miles away in Japan, still at the home of the Ancient One, Kemeko was sitting under the blossom trees next to the lake with Leonardo meditating together.
Just then, her peaceful reverie was interrupted when she saw a blade of a sword, then a fiery explosion followed by a scream, then she looked up to see a bloodied, burnt, and soaking wet figure of Pandora standing before her!
Kemeko's eyes widened as she looked at her hybrid cousin.
"Pandora?" she cried "What…what's happened…?"
Yet the deformed figure of Pandora said nothing as she looked up and blinked at Kemeko, then the Asian girl felt a force knock her back then she saw Pandora get ripped away from her like a ragdoll!
"No!" Kemeko screamed as she reached for her cousin who was pulled away from her then crumbled to dust before vanishing into the wind!
"Nooooo!"
Kemeko opened her eyes as she broke out of her meditation and found herself back in the garden of the Ancient One, yet the skies above were turning grey, and she heard thunder in the distance.
"No…no! Please!" she thought as tears streamed from her eyes.
"Lotus?" Leonardo's voice was heard in her ears, and she turned to her concerned father who moved over to her "What is it?" he asked in concern holding her cheeks, "What's wrong!?"
Kemeko didn't speak for a moment back stared back at him with her eyes wide, full of tears and her skin pale.
"Pandora…" she breathed, her heart beating so hard it hurt "Pandora…. she's…she's gone!"
Leonardo blinked as he stared at his daughter in confusion.
"What? What are you talking about?" he asked.
"I saw her!" Kemeko gasped as tears fell "Somethings happened! Pandora's hurt!"
Leonardo looked at his daughter then up at the sky as he saw it turning grey then the thunder rolled again.
A pang was felt in his stomach as he connected the dots then on the wind, he could have sworn he heard a devastated roar!
The blue masked turtle shook his head, and he went pale before tears filled his own eyes.
"No…No! It can't be true! No! no!"

The Knights, and the Hamato Clan have survived...Hanako is officially decleared dead, but Pandora...Tyroth, the others and even Kemeko who spiritual got wind of what happened fear the worst...
This was hard to write, and I have to say this is the end...end of the Fanfic 'Aftermath', but not the story, as a sequel will follow soon...Stay tuned my friends...
