Jenna opens the door again. "Why are you here, Logan?" Jenna asks.
"I missed you. I was out of town. I..."
"Yeah, I got that email." Jenna cuts Logan off.
"You got an email?" Logan asks shocked.
"You didn't send an email?" Jenna asks confused.
"I can explain. Just invite me in and I'll tell you everything." Logan tries to convince her.
"I'm not gonna invite you in. Forget it." Jenna says.
"Come on, Jenna. It's me." Logan keeps trying. I roll my eyes.
"The answer's no." Jenna says staying firm.
"I know you. You're always one step from a 'maybe', a tiny nudge to 'yes'." He tries to bait her.
Jenna scoffs. "You just pointed out that I have no self-control. Clever strategy!" Jenna then slams the door in his face.
"Not sure why you opened the door after I slammed it the first time." I say to her.
"I was curious of what excuse he would give me." She says with a shrug. We both say goodnight and I head upstairs. I see Damon fast asleep in my bed. Blaise is asleep in the same position in his crib. I chuckle watching them both for a few minutes. Blaise looks like a little Damon. I crawl into bed beside Damon. He rolls over pulling me against him so my back is to his front. I fall asleep quickly.
"Morning," Damon greets in his deep rough morning voice. I shiver loving the sound.
"Morning, how was your sleep?" I ask.
"Amazing. How was yours?" He asks smiling at me.
"It was good." I reply. I hear Blaise start to babble. "You had a good sleep too, baby boy." I get up and grab him. Placing him so he is sitting on Damon's chest. He smiles up at Blaise. Blaise just continues to babble to him.
"Do we need to get more diapers for him? I'm running low at the house." Damon says.
"No, I'll grab a box from downstairs. We have a few boxes there." I tell him. I get up and head out of my room. I see Jer's room door open so I go check it out. Jer is sketching in his sketch pad. "Finally continuing to put my gift to good use." I joke.
"Yeah, did Johnathan know the truth?" He asks.
"I'm not sure. You would have to ask Damon when he gets up." I say. I leave and walk downstairs. I see Jenna getting ready to leave. Elena comes downstairs shortly after me.
"Jeremy's got his sketch pad out." Elena announces.
"You're kidding?" Jenna asks shocked.
"Nope. But don't say a word. The minute we encourage him, he'll put it away." Elena says.
"Psychology major. Check that!" Jenna jokes.
"I've already spoken to him today." I say. Elena glares at me. "Remember I was the one that got him the sketch pad. Mom and dad were so grateful to not have papers all over the house all the time." I chuckle at the memory. Elena looks at her phone.
"You and Stefan? Update?" Jenna asks.
"He knows how I feel and where I stand and I know where he stands but it doesn't matter. He's leaving, moving away." Elena says.
"Where is he going? Is Damon going?" Jenna asks giving me a surprised look.
"I've stopped asking questions. The answers get scary." Elena says.
"From what I understand Damon is staying here till I graduate. Then we are going to travel with Blaise for a year, then I'll probably do university." I tell Jenna.
"That sounds like a great plan. I'm glad Damon isn't planning on leaving you high and dry." Jenna says with a smile.
"No, he wouldn't do that." I reply. Her and Elena walk out of the house.
I go grab a box of diapers and a box of wipes. Just in case he needs them. I head back upstairs. Damon walks out of my room all ready to go. Blaise in his now signature leather jacket. I knock on Jer's door.
"Come in," He calls. I open his door.
"We are heading out." I tell him.
"Wait Damon?" He calls out.
"Yeah," Damon responds.
"Did Johnathan Gilbert know about vampires?" He asks Damon.
"Yeah, he was alive when I was turned." Damon tells him. "He created quite a few inventions for capturing vampires."
"Alright, I just wanted to know if this guy was nuts or actually in the know." Jer dismisses.
We head out to the boarding house. We are in the parlor room. Damon is staring out the window sipping on a glass of bourbon. Blaise is playing on his play mat. Stefan walks in.
"So any idea of where you'll go?" Stefan asks. Damon was planning on taking Blaise and I on a vacation for summer break when it comes.
"I don't know. London, maybe. See some friends." Damon says with a shrug.
"You don't have any friends, Damon." Stefan says.
"You're right, Stefan. I only have you." Damon says just going along with Stefan. He turns around to look at Stefan. "So, where are we goin'?"
"We are not going anywhere. I'm gonna live my life as far away from you as possible." Stefan tells him.
"But we're a team! We could travel the world together. We could try out for 'The Amazing Race'." Damon jokes.
"Mmmm, that's funny. Seriously, where are you going? Because we are not staying in this town." Stefan orders.
The doorbell rings. Stefan gets the door, Damon heads to the door shortly after. I see that it's Liz when she enters in the house. Damon shuts the door behind her and leads her to the courtyard. I nod a greeting to her as she passes. Stefan sits down and I can tell he is listening in. They walk in and Damon walks her out. Stefan gets up and speeds over to Damon once the door is shut. He grabs him by the shirt and holds him against the door.
"What is wrong with you? You killed somebody?" Stefan accuses. Blaise starts to cry immediately and I hold him to try to comfort him.
"Get off of me." Damon pushes Stefan off and comes to Blaise and I. Damon takes Blaise and calms him. "A...don't touch me. B...if I had, I wouldn't have been so obvious about it. C...There's another vampire in town."
"That's impossible." Stefan says in disbelief.
"Obviously not." Damon points out. We walk back in the parlor.
"Then, who could it be?" Stefan asks.
"Ah, what do we care? We're leaving anyway, right?" Damon says.
"No, I can't leave now and you know that." Stefan says following. "How are we supposed to find this person?"
"Let the adults handle this, Stefan." Damon dismisses him and we walk to the front door.
I kiss Damon and Blaise good-bye then head to school. I see Care and Matt walking together in the hall. I walk up to Tyler.
"You see that?" I say.
"Yeah, I do." Tyler says giving me a hug hello. "What have you been up to lately? I feel like we haven't really seen each other in a while."
"It feels like forever. Besides dating Damon and looking after Blaise, nothing. Where does the time go?" I tell him.
"I can imagine it's going into educating your son." He jokes. I push his shoulder heading to Elena and Bonnie who are at Elena's locker talking.
"She needs someone nice like him," Bonnie says.
"How are you doing with all that?" Elena asks her. I look at them confused.
"I'm freaking out. Damon attacked me. I could be dead right now. But I'm also grateful." Bonnie replies.
"Hmm?" I ask still confused.
"To Stefan. He saved my life and… Have you seen him?" Bonnie asks Elena.
"Not since he told me he was leaving. For all I know, he's already gone." Elena replies.
"He wouldn't leave without saying goodbye." Bonnie tells her.
"They broke up. So he doesn't need to tell her anything. Unless vampire STDs are a thing." I say
"Besides, he thinks he's protecting me. Clean break and all that." Elena replies.
"So, what are you gonna do?" Bonnie asks her.
"What am I supposed to do? I've already begged him not to go. If I ask again, I'm being selfish. It is what it is." Elena replies.
I head off to class not really wanting to hear any more. I head home quickly after school, before going to meet Damon. Jer is sitting on the couch Sketching and Jenna walk in the house behind me. Jer shows her the sketch.
"Hey, what do you think?" Jer asks.
"Creepy." Jenna replies.
"I found this old journal in dad's stuff, Johnathan Gilbert from the 1800s. He's kind of a freak show." Jer says as Jenna sits down on the couch. "He wrote about demons and all of these people getting slaughter and..."
"Yeah, he was a writer...short stories, horror stuff." Jenna says not suspecting any of it to be true.
"Oh, he wrote fiction? Figured he was just a lunatic or a drunk." Jer plays off.
"Well, he was a Gilbert, probably a little bit of both." I say walking past to leave to meet up with Damon.
I meet up with Damon as his place. I get Blaise and he hands me a compass. He tells me to drive around till it starts moving and then call him. I reach a warehouse and I call him. He appears minutes later.
"Hi," I greet.
"Hey," he takes the compass and gives me a kiss. "You and Blaise are going to the career fair?"
"Yeah, I thought it would be good to go. Maybe see what I want to go to school for." I say with a shrug.
"You know you don't have to work." He tells me taking my hands in his.
"I know, but it will give me something to do. Maybe I should open a bar for the supernatural." I suggest with a laugh.
"That would be a great idea. You would have so many customers and a forever clientele." He says his eyes lighting up.
"I gotta turn 21 first." I say with a laugh.
"I will meet up with you later." He says dismissing me.
We kiss and he waves to Blaise as we drive off. I head to the career fair and see Jenna I join her while holding Blaise.
"There's the little guy. How was his day?" She asks.
"Good, Damon's good with him." I reply as we walk around the fair.
"That's true. He really seems to care about you two."
"Yeah, he does. We are very lucky."
"Do you know what you want to do?"
"I joked with Damon about opening a bar. That joke doesn't seem so bad now."
"A bar?"
"Yeah, a bar. It would keep things interesting. Actually maybe a speakeasy type thing. That would be cool." I suggest.
"You would have to leave Mystic."
"You knew that would happen anyway." I reply to her with a knowing tone. She nods agreeing. I watch and see Matt and Elena talking and I see Care see and get upset. "Looks like trouble in paradise already."
"What paradise?" Jenna asks confused.
"Care has a thing with Matt. Elena is right now talking with Matt. I think Care is jealous." I reply.
"She will have to understand that Matt and Elena have a long history together." Jenna says with a nod.
"Very true," I agree. "I think Logan is stalking you."
"Why would you say that?" Jenna asks confused.
"Because he's over there." I say pointing to Logan who walked in and is now looking around. Jenna bolts and I follow her. We walk over quickly to Stefan and Elena.
"Hide me." Jenna says hiding behind Stefan while I laugh.
"What's going on?" Elena asks confused.
"We have a stalker on the loose." I reply.
"The scum Fell has landed." Jenna says.
"Logan's here." Elena explains to Stefan.
"Wait, Logan Fell?" Stefan asks surprised.
"Yeah, he was walking around looking for something or someone." I reply while Jenna nods in agreement. Stefan goes out into the hall I follow. Logan looks over and waves. Elena walks out and Jenna follows behind her.
"Stefan, what's going on?" Elena asks confused.
Logan approaches all of us.
"Jenna, are you dodging me?" Logan asks.
"It's a form of self-preservation." Jenna spits out.
"Um, Elena, why don't you, Jenna, Evie, and Blaise go somewhere else?" Stefan suggests almost as if he is uncertain.
Elena grabs Jenna's and leads her away. I just follow not really wanting to be there. I call Damon to see what is going on.
"What is going on, Damon? Stefan wanted Elena, Jenna and I to get away from Logan. I know he's a douche but he's being a little over protective." I tell him leaving the school standing in the parking lot.
"Logan is the vampire. When I find him I'm going to destroy him limb by limb." Damon threatens.
"Are you alright?" I ask nervously.
"No, I'm not ok. I was ambushed. I was shot. Now, I'm vengeful. Just got to find him." Damon tells me.
"Well, there's no need. He's here at the school." I say.
"You're kidding me. Why the hell is he there?" Damon asks. "You and Blaise need to leave now. Drive to my place. I will meet you there later."
"Alright, we will head right out." I tell him. I get Blaise into the car quickly and head out not wanting to get caught up and Blaise get hurt.
Heading back to his place I get Blaise ready for bed. I put him in his crib and take the baby monitor that Damon never uses. I'm jealous that he doesn't have to. I then head downstairs and bake for a little while. I decide to make brownies. I hear Stefan come home, I also hear someone else with him. I guess Elena and him made up. I finish up the brownies and head to Damon's room. I lay down in his bed and read one of his families journals. Elena comes bursting in a little while later with tears in her eyes.
"What's the matter?" I ask shocked putting the book down.
"Come with me." Is all she says. I grab Blaise and a diaper bag and follow her to her car. I buckle Blaise in his car seat and she drives with me in the passenger seat.
"There was a picture of what looked like me. It said Katherine. She looked exactly like me." Elena says with tears still in her eyes.
All of a sudden there is someone in the middle of the road. Elena slams on the brakes, but the person hits the windshield and the car flips. I cover my head and scream. Blaise is screaming at the top of his lungs. The man who we hit slowly gets up and starts to approach the car. I turn trying to get out of my seat to get to Blaise, but the seatbelt is stuck. So is Elena's.
