Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! I'm back with a new chapter. I hope you enjoy this.
Olivia opened the door to see Cole, along with a couple of techs who were going to set up the call. She stepped aside to let them in then closed the door behind them. She walked over to Charles and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I'm so scared," she whispered.
Charles kissed her temple. "It'll all be okay. I'll be right there next to you."
Olivia nodded and took a deep breath. "I can do this," she whispered and looked up into his eyes.
Charles smiled at her. "You absolutely can. I know you can."
Olivia walked over to the dining room table where they set up the phone, Charles following her, sitting next to her. She looked at the techs and at Cole. "All ready?"
Cole nodded. "We're set. You sure about this?"
Olivia ran her hands over her thighs. "No, but the alternative is my pictures being put online and possibly losing my command and my job, so I'm going to do this for myself."
Cole smiled gently. "Olivia Benson truly is a force to be reckoned with. Ed told me that too."
Olivia smiled at the memory of Ed. While she was deeply in love with Charles, Ed would always hold space in her heart. "Okay, let's do this." Olivia picked up the phone and dialed Elliot's number. She reached for Charles's hand.
Elliot picked up. "Finally came to your senses, hm?"
Olivia rolled her eyes. "What do you want Elliot?"
Elliot smirked. "You. You leave your husband and I don't put the pictures on SugarFap."
Olivia let out an incredulous laugh. "You can't be serious Elliot. I'm not leaving my husband."
Elliot set his jaw. "Why the hell not? I thought you loved me."
Olivia looked at Charles and then at the table. "I did, Elliot. I was madly in love with you for the better part of 12 years, hoping you'd leave Kathy and come running into my arms. But then you left, for ten years, without a word. Was I supposed to wait for you? And then when you did show back up, you were still with Kathy. You only want me now because you're lonely, and because it's convenient for you."
Elliot was shocked into silence, because she was right. "I— You— Damn it Olivia."
Olivia took a deep breath. "Elliot, you have no right to be angry with me. You have no right to my body, you never did, and the fact that you think I'll live my life on your say so… Elliot even if I wasn't so deeply in love with my husband, which I am, there are children involved. Noah, my daughters. You threatening to release those pictures… if you did that it wouldn't just hurt me. It would hurt my whole family, kids included."
Charles squeezed her thigh and he saw Olivia break out in the faintest smile.
Elliot sighed. "I didn't think of it that way."
Olivia nodded. "I know you didn't, because you don't think of anyone else but yourself, now, are you done playing games with my life?"
Elliot nodded and rubbed his hand down his face, forgetting for a second that she couldn't see him. "Yeah. I'm done."
Olivia nodded. "Good. I'll send someone from my squad to pick up the photos and negatives you have. And Elliot, I mean it when I say I never want to hear from or talk to you again. I'm done. This was the last straw."
Elliot let out a breath of air. "I understand."
Olivia looked from Charles to Cole. "Goodbye Elliot." She hung up the phone and let out a breath she wasn't aware she was holding, tears starting to run down her face.
Cole walked over to her and put his hand on her upper back. "It's over," he said gently.
Olivia nodded and wiped her eyes. "I know. I'm just… relieved."
Charles leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I am so proud of you."
Olivia looked at Cole. "What are next steps?"
Cole nodded. "I bring the tape to the DA, see if he wants to file charges. I can't guarantee anything because you talked him out of it, but you were… masterful on that phone call."
Olivia smiled. "I have to call Fin to get the pictures and the negatives, once he no longer has them I'll feel better about charges not being filed, if they're not filed."
Cole nodded and helped the techs clean up, making sure the recording was safe and he had it. Once they were all cleaned up he walked over to Olivia. "Okay, we're done. If anything else happens, please don't hesitate to call. And I'll call you and let you know what the DA decides."
Olivia smiled. "Thank you Cole."
Cole smiled back. "Any time." He walked out with the techs, closing the door behind him.
Olivia turned to face Charles and wrapped her arms around him. "I feel so much better. Let me call Fin and then we can cuddle up together in bed." She took out her cell phone and called Fin. "Fin, I need a favor. I talked Elliot down from putting the pictures on the internet, but I need you to go to his apartment and get all the photos and negatives. And make sure you get all the photos."
Fin nodded. "I got you Liv."
Olivia smiled. "Thanks, Fin." She hung up and looked at Charles. "Well, we can hang out down here until Fin comes with the pictures, or we can wait upstairs, but if we wait upstairs I'm going to want out of these clothes."
Charles smirked. "Feeling more like yourself I see," he kissed her softly and walked her back up against the wall.
Olivia moaned softly and ran her hands down his chest. "Mm, a little bit anyway," she said gently. "I feel better about what happened, knowing that Fin will make sure he gets all the pictures, that makes me feel better."
Charles smiled and kissed her forehead. "Good, you don't deserve to feel bad for anything you did."
Olivia smiled. "I know, and I don't anymore." She said gently. "You helped with that," she whispered and kissed him softly.
Charles kissed her back and smiled, feeling her arms wrap around his neck. "I'm glad," he whispered against her lips.
Olivia smiled back as she kept kissing him, her body pressing against his. She broke the kiss and smiled, taking her sweatshirt off over her head, revealing a camisole. She looked at Charles and smiled. "You remind me that the shame isn't mine, and I feel less embarrassed and shameful because of that."
Charles ran his hand over her side, stroking her hip with his thumb. "You're so beautiful."
Olivia blushed and ran her hands over his chest. "Flattery, Mr. Brooks, will get you pretty damn far. If not everywhere. We'll see how I feel." Just then her phone rang, she looked at the caller ID, seeing it was Cole. She picked up. "Benson."
Cole responded. "Olivia, it's Cole."
Olivia nodded. "What's the verdict?"
Cole rested his elbows on his desk. "The DA agreed to bring it to a grand jury, to see if they think there's a case there."
Olivia let out a breath. "So I'll need to testify?"
Cole nodded. "Yes, but you're a pro at this, you can do it."
Olivia bit her bottom lip. "Cole, I haven't testified in front of a grand jury as a victim since Lewis. When it comes to being a victim I'm not a pro at it. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm abysmal at it."
Cole nodded. "So we'll prep you, make sure you know exactly what you're going to say. And you'll be prepared and confident going in front of the grand jury."
Olivia nodded. "Thanks, Cole." They said their goodbyes and hung up. Just in time for the doorbell to ring. Olivia took a deep breath and she saw Fin. She smiled. "Come in, please."
Fin walked in and looked at Olivia. "I got all the pictures. Roughed Elliot up a bit, but I got them all."
Olivia looked at him. "Fin," she rubbed her face and then looked at him again. "I don't need my Sergeant locked up for assault."
Fin shook his head. "He's not going to the police, and the way he was talking about you… he deserved it."
Olivia looked from Fin to Charles and looked back at Fin. "What was he saying?"
Fin hesitated to tell Olivia. "He uh… he called you a slut and a whore, and he made some comments about your scars."
Olivia pulled her lips into her mouth. "What did he say about my scars?"
Fin took a deep breath. "That you probably got them during consensual sex play and that you were lying about where they came from for attention."
Olivia felt like the wind was knocked out of her. "That son of a bitch." She put her hand on her chest. "No, because his mother isn't a bitch. That bastard."
Fin looked at her. "Sorry, Liv."
Olivia looked at him and shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry for."
Fin handed her the photos and the negatives. "That's everything. I did a search of his house to make sure."
Olivia offered him a small smile and hugged him. "Thank you."
Fin was awkward with hugs, so it took him a moment to hug her back. When he did though he hugged her tight. "Anytime Liv."
Olivia broke the hug and wiped her eyes, as tears had started to fall. "I'll see you on Monday." She said seriously.
Fin nodded. "I'll be there." He turned and left.
Olivia locked the door behind him and turned to face Charles. "It's over… for now."
Charles walked over to her and wrapped her in his arms, holding her close. "Tell me what you want to do."
Olivia smiled. "Let's look at the pictures. Then… take me to bed."
Charles looked at her. "You're sure?"
Olivia nodded. "I can't promise that I'll be in the mood for anything more than cuddling and kissing, but yes. I want to be in our big bed together, wrapped in blankets."
Charles smiled. "You want to look at the pictures down here?"
Olivia bit her bottom lip. "Yeah, less pressure."
Charles smiled and kissed her soundly. He slipped his tongue past her lips and held her tightly. He dipped her slightly as they kissed.
Olivia smiled into the kiss before she gently pulled away. "Mm." She looked into his eyes. "That was… Mm."
Charles caressed her face and kissed her forehead. "Let's look at your pictures."
Olivia pulled them out of the envelope and picked one up. "Minus the headache of the last 12 or so hours, I'm really glad I took these," she said softly.
Charles picked up a picture and smiled when he looked at it. "I'm pretty glad too," he whispered and kissed her temple. He looked at the picture in his hand some more. Olivia was in a pink teddy, stretched out over a chaise, her head thrown back, her eyes closed.
Olivia noticed him looking intently at the photo. "I guess you really like that picture," she chuckled.
Charles put the photo down and blushed. "I do," he said, slightly embarrassed. "It's just… it looks so close to what you look like when you orgasm," he whispered. "Though, usually your mouth is open in a scream or a moan."
Olivia wrapped her arms around his waist. "Really?" she asked gently, seeing him nod. Now it was her turn to blush. "I didn't know, I've never seen myself orgasm."
Charles caressed her face. "That's okay. Maybe we'll fix that one day. Mirrors are a beautiful thing. But if you look anything like this, you'll still miss it because your eyes will be closed."
Olivia chuckled and gently kissed his neck. "I think I'd like to watch myself have sex," she whispered. She looked at another picture. "You can really see my scars in this one. The contrast of the white lingerie and the darkness of the scars… it's more noticeable."
Charles lifted her chin and looked into her eyes. "Olivia Benson, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on. Scars or no. When I look at these pictures I don't see your scars, baby. I see you. Exactly how I fell in love with you."
