CH 26
"Bingo" Daniel said
Jack walk over to where Daniel is and help him move the bushes out of the way and open the door. Jack went in first so he could turn the lights on. They walk down the steps like the ones on the island. When they walk into the room and the light turn on
"Woo" Daniel, said
He walk over to where there was ancient books every where while Jack went to look at the metal boxes, he open one and look in it. He saw old cloth, so he moved it way to see what it is, when he saw it.
"Daniel, what is this?" Daniel walk over to him while reading a book, he stops and looked to see what it is
"Oh my god" he look around the room for the first time then back to Jack
"Daniel?"
"Jack that is a ZPM"
"A what?"
"ZPM, I read about them few years are about these things"
"Ok ZPM?" he looked at him
"Oh Zero point molal. Jack one of these can power the alpha site for hundreds of years"
"Cool and the SGC?"
"Yes"
"Sweet" Daniel smiled
"What you reading?"
"This is incredible Jack, this is like a story, a book about a family who lived here"
"A diary?"
"Yeah of sorts, but it talk about home, and some thing about wreath"
"Wreath?"
"Yeah from what I can translate they suck the life out of you by putting there hand over your chest, they left cause so many have died and they were losing a battle against them, so they left there home world and moved to another planet in another galaxy"
"Ok is sounds so fascinating, come on lets head back"
"I'll take this with me to read"
"Just remember you are on your honey moon"
"I know"
Daniel put three books into the back pack he was carrying then they left turning the lights off After Jack took care of the beacon, they headed back to the glider, then back home. When they arrived back at the village, they told the others of their finding. Jack watch Sam eyes lit up likes a Christmas tree when Daniel mention the ZPM and how many boxes there are, every thing. They talk for over an hour before they all went and had a swim before dinner.
Over the next few days, they manage to find all the under ground caverns. When the Odessy showed up. Hammond, chief of staff was aboard.
"Sirs this is a surprise, what's up?"
"We came to talk to you all"
"Sir has some thing happen to the kids?"
"No colonel, the kids are fine"
"Then what is it?"
"The comity want to close the stargate program down"
"What?"
"Sorry colonel"
"What is it this time sir?" Sam asked?
"The cost of running the program"
"Sir what is the most expense thing on the list to run the program?" Sam asked
"Dialling the gate, each time we dial out or incoming worm hole cost over five billion dollars last year alone" the chief of staff said
"Wow that is a lot of money," Jack said, then he looks at Sam and knew she was thinking
"Sam?"
"Sir would you do any thing to get them off your guys back?"
"Money wise, yes, what did you have in mind?"
"Our own gate power sir"
"Gate power, how?"
"ZPM"
"But we don't have one?"
"So ten thousand not enough sir" Sam said smiling they were shock
"What ZPM?"
"Yes sir"
"How many would you need to power the gate?"
"One"
"For how long?"
"A long time sir"
"Well yes if you can do some thing up to power the gate, then yes" Sam smile
"Sir how long can you stay here for?" Jack asked
"Few days, Promethis will be here next week, the Odessy is loading up it bays with logs before leaving tomorrow"
"Ok we will show you where you guys can bunk down then we will show you around, I hope you brought your swimming trunks sirs" Jack said smiling
"We did Colonel" they got their duffle bags and were shown where the bunks house it.
Once settles in they were shown around for an hour before having lunch, then was shown around afterwards. The chief of staff was shock with what he saw of the place. Later that afternoon, they all went for a swim. While swimming, they all talk for couple of hours.
Over the next seven days, the chief of staff and Hammond were shown around. Jack, Daniel, Steve and Greg all took turns in showing them around, telling what they all did while stuck on the planet. When Promethis arrived to unload things, they stayed over night before leaving the next day with Hammond and chief of staff.
For the next seven weeks they all enjoyed their honeymoon, Janet let Daniel read the books while she scan them for him while on the island. Sam and Jack look at the ship computers and found where the drones are keep, so they went to check to see how many was left. When they saw only five left they used one of the cargo ships to transport two hundred drones to the ship, when it was fully loaded, they were please.
Week before they all were due to go home, the alarms were raised, one evening, so they ran over to where the observatory is to find out what was going on.
"What is it?"
"Look" they look at the computer screen to see number of mother ships showing up
"Shit, Sam you're with me, Daniel, Greg, Steve, you all know what to do, now let's go"
They all ran in different directions and people started running around. Jack and Sam took one of the gliders to the island where every one there wondering what was going on.
"Jack what is it?"
"Mother ships have shown up, better get to the main land and help out"
Then they all got them selves sorted out while Jack and Sam ran to the ship. Few minutes later they were airborne and got them selves into proposition and waited.
"Here they come jack"
"Daniel start firing"
Then Daniel fired at one of the gliders, so they started heading towards him not knowing that the others on the ground who is spread out started firing at them and causing the gliders to crash. The women ran over to each gliders and take the jaffa out and that them to one of the paddocks. Where the stock use to be and put them in there out of harms away, when one try to escapes he got a shock and collapse, the others got the message. Every one was busy for an hour moving the jaffa into the paddocks, when that was all over, the other glider and cargo ships show up and removed the damage gliders.
"Jack fire one of the fire balls to one of the ships, make it hit the cargo bay and destroy the gliders, as I remember it right next to the engine room"
"Ok" then Jack concentrated and fireball left the ship and headed to one of the mother ships Sam watch and waited.
When it hit the glider bay there was a exposition in that part of the ship, which it blow up half of the engine room, the system lord told his jaffa to ring to one on the other ships, which they all did do since they were lose life support. Then they sent more gliders and cargo ships down so they could ring jaffa down, but soon as they were all on the ground they were all zated once and knock out.
Then the woman removed all weapons and was able to drag the jaffa to a safe spot and tired them up for the time being. Three of the women saw cargo ship show up so when the jaffa were ring down, three women were ring up. They zat the jaffa that was on board catching them unawares what happen, then they flew over to one of the paddocks and ring the jaffa down then return and landed the ship, then they went to help the others. Jack sent a fireball to another ship knocking out it life supports, so the jaffa had no choice but to leave the ship.
" Jack one of the mother ships is heading this way"
"Ok" then the ship cloak.
Once every thing was sorted out every one look up to see a mother ship heading towards them. They all watch it landed where the earth ships land. When groups of jaffa left the ship Daniel Steve and Greg got groups of men with them they all waited and follow each group. Daniel went first, soon as they were so far away they zat the jaffa and signal cargo ship to pick them up and take them away, the ship was cloak so the ones on the mother ship didn't know what was happening.
At that time another group of jaffa did the same. After ten groups of patrols were caught and moved, when it was time to head into the ship, which each group did do knocking out all the jaffa till they reach the bridge and took it over. Once the entire jaffa was put into the cells on the ship, they were all pleased that they have now got a ship.
"Daniel I want you and Steve to fly this ship to the closest stargate and call for rear force ment from both rebel jaffa and tok'ra, let them know what happening and contact SGC" Jack said over the radio
"Ok Jack, good luck"
"Thanks" they all saw the ship lifted off and headed to outer space.
Soon as it was I the clear, it jumps into hyperspace. Every one on the ground took a brake but still remain on alert. They sent pouches of water to the entire jaffa that was caught so they wouldn't be thirsty. The next day every one went on alert when more gliders showed up, so they did the same thing again. While the jaffa and gliders were taken care off, Jack sent two fireballs to, two of the ships and knock out it systems so they had no choice but to leave the ship. While that was going on, Daniel landed the ship close to the gate, he left Steve on the bridge while he went to get some help he called SGC first.
"Dr Jackson, is every thing alright, how did you get the the planet?"
"Sir the system lords have surrounded the planet, they have already sent three lots of gliders down and mother ship, Jack said we need all the help we can get"
"How did you get off the planet?"
"Mother ship sir"
"Ok I'll sent all the teams we have got"
"Thanks sir, can you sent message to the tok'ra for there help, I'll go and see Bra'tac. Every one can meet here on the planet sir"
"Ok, copy that, good luck"
"Thank sir, Jackson out"
Then the gate shut down. Hammond sent message to the tok'ra about what happening while Daniel dial the gate to the land of the light. He walk through the gate to the other side and it close down, then jaffa showed up with their staff weapons, Daniel raised his hands
"I need to talk o Bra'tac, the system lords are attacking the forbidden planet"
"This way" One of the jaffa said. Daniel follows the jaffa to where one of the camps is. Bra'tac saw Daniel and walk over to him
"Daniel Jackson, what is wrong"
"System lords are attacking the forbidden planet, there is over hundred mother ship and I don't know how many more are going to show up"
"O'Neill?"
"He and Sam are on the planet so is the others from the wedding, we need help"
"How did you get to the stargate?"
"Mother ship, look I'll tell you on the way, we haven't got much time and Jack must be getting tired by now" Bra'tac nodded and turned around to his brothers and sister.
"Send word to the other, the system lords know about the forbidden planet, we need to help the ones who have saved our lives and free our brothers, we must hurry, we will wait for you at the stargate"
Then they all ran to the others villagers near by to let them know what was happening. Bra'tac and Daniel walk back to the gate and waited.
"What about the tok'ra?"
"I've contacted General Hammond her sending teams to the planet and also sent messages to the tok'ra for their help" Bra'tac nodded
When they reach the gate, they waited for five minutes, when hundreds jaffa's have showed up. Daniel dialled the gate, when it was form, Daniel walk through to the other side to be greeted by both tok'ra and SG personal.
"Daniel"
"Jacob" they both shook hands
"We got the message from George, some honeymoon"
"Yeah, and Jack not a happy camper and the honeymoon crashers as he called them" Jacob laugh
"Bra'tac, it good to see you again"
"You to Jacob and Selmac of the tok'ra"
"We better get aboard" they all walk on to the ship.
"Bra'tac, Jack said that there are some guys needing a pep talk, they are in the cells"
"We will go and talk to them"
"Ok, we will be on the bridge"
Jacob and Daniel walk onto the bridge after Daniel ask the guys to check every level just in case there are more jaffa on board that are hiding, so they all split up and check each level. When Daniel and Jacob walk onto the bridge, Steve was still there, he raised his zat, then lowered it when he saw who it is.
"Dr Jackson every one aboard" Came over his radio
"Copy that" then he looked at Jacob
"Want to do the honours Jacob"
"Thanks"
Jacob walked up to where the controls is and started up the engines and lifted off. Once they were in space, they jump into hypo space.
"You know Daniel if all the system lords are there on the planet they won't stand a chance"
"True, they would either get caught or killed"
"We will have to wait and see"
"True" Few minute later they came out of hypo space and headed toward the planet surface and landed where the ship land before, then they all got off the ship when Daniel radio crack into life
"Daniel it that you?"
"Yes Jack where are you?" then the ship uncloak it self
"I've got Jacob with me" then they both were rings up aboard. They walk down to where the bridge is.
"Jack, Sam are you two ok?"
"Yeah, just tiered"
"How long have you guys been awake for?"
"Two days"
"What, what can we do to help?"
"We need some one with us so we can get some rest while every one gets every thing sorted out on the ground"
"Sure, I can stay with you" Daniel said
"I'll get every thing sorted out on the ground, do you need any thing?"
"Food and water" Jack said
"Ok we will get every thing sorted out, I'll be back"
"Thanks dad" Jacob left and walks to where the rings are and ring him self down and started making plans.
"So what happen so far?"
"Ten ships are disabled and most of the jaffa were sent here. Jan, Janet, Kate and Claire have been busy taking care of the wounded, the jaffa that have been wounded have now got no symboites in them. I work it out when they sent gliders once every four hours, they just finish sending gliders down an hour ago"
"Ok so we got three hours before the next attack"
"Yes and if Jack doesn't get any rest soon"
"Don't worry, every thing is going to be ok"
"Thanks Daniel"
