It would be a party for the ages. For the heroes of the Boiling Isles deserved no less. Luz and Amity were adamant that the party represented the culture of both the demon and human realm. The music was a mixture of traditional bard music as well as the music of the spanish caribbean mainly bachata and salsa. For food there was hard boiled

gryphon eggs, gryphon tick salad, raw tiny kraken and eyeball slime stew from the demon realm. From the human realm catered by the best Dominican restaurant in Gravesfield there was arroz con habichuelas, tostones, maduros, mofongo and pernil. For Drinks there was water, apple blood (alcoholic and non alcoholic), mexi-coke(coke made with sugar) fruit punch, coffee, tea,el Presidente beer, Brugal rum and wine. For dessert there were fairy pies but the topper was an exquisite wedding cake Camila had

ordered from a local bakery in Gravesfield. After the quinceanera cake had spiders crawling out she told Alador that she would take care of this one. At the head table was Luz,Amity, Camila , Alador, Eda and Raine. It was at this moment that Alador stood up and said "Before I take a seat I have one last task to perform, and it's a task that is

both my honor and my privilege. Ladies and gentlemen, please raise your glasses and join with me in wishing the newlyweds a long, healthy and very happy future together. To Amity and Luz." The partygoers gave a roaring applause and at that moment Eda stood up clearly having a few glasses of apple blood already "I'd also like to congratulate

But as time has passed I've

seen you grow into not only a better person but a better witch and i wish you and luz nothing bit the best." Eda finished sliding into her chair as the partygoers gave a roaring applause. It was then Willow stood up " Amity our friendship has had its highs and its many many many lows. But in spite of it all i wouldn't change it at all and i can say Luz

is lucky to have you for a wife. And Luz what can i say that hasn't already been said you have made all of our lives better and Amity couldn't ask for a better bride i wish you guys nothing but the best to Amity and Luz" Willow shouted and the party goers responded in unison. With the toasting done it was finally time to eat and Amity had put

together quite a had rice and beans ,pernil and tostones on her plate. During her many stays in the human realm one thing that had stuck with her was the food, much of it was unlike anything they had in the boiling isles, especially the pernil luz had introduced her to at a christmas party a few years back. The cut of meat and the seasons the

cooking method put together created a dish so wonderful she could not fathom life without it. Luz had a similar platter instead opting for maduros and was enjoying a cool bottle of el Presidente when Eda and Raine sat down after grabbing their meals. "Raine i loved you and your bard performance it was perfect" she said as raine Looked

flustered."Oh it was nothing, i was happy to do it you and Amity deserve it after all you have done for the boiling isles" Raine said as he put a forks worth of rice into his mouth. "You sell yourself short, though it is a shame that it will be your last performance for a while when you become the 1st democratically elected leader in the history of

the boiling isles." Luz said as she herself grabbed a maduro."Luz the election is not for another week we have to wait till then." Raine said as they looked to Eda who was busy enjoying eyeball slime stew. "Raine you are up by 24 points in the polls and relax you got in the bag." Luz said before casually sipping her beer. Following the fall of the

emperor there was a lot of instability and damage that needed to be taken care of, not to mention a few fanatics not willing to let the monarchy go down without a fight. Raine and the other former coven heads that had opposed the day of unity put together a task force to hunt down these extremists before they could do any real harm. This

had taken a few years but for the most part the monarchists were either locked in the Conformatorium, had given up and defected or just simply vanished. Following this the isles had a big question after half a century of absolute monarchy and no real experience with any other style of government what would they do for a government.

Fortunately Luz was more than happy to provide them with books from the human realm on democracy, particularly on that of the Nordic model of social democracy that was so successful in places like Denmark and Finland. Amity had just finished her meal when she saw Willow having a conversation with her Flyer derby team the Emerald Entrails. Willow was s. "Excuse me, may I have a chat with Willow." And with that Amity signaled a waiter to bring over some red wine and within a minute she too had her own glass of wine."Wow you weren't kidding Willow this is good i might have to ask Camilla where she got this." " I do know why we don't get up, it's time for cake." and with that amity headed off to the cake where Luz was waiting. "You Ready Sweet potato." said Luz to which Amity grabbed the knife. "Of course I am ready Batata." Amity said and with Luz's hand atop hers they cut the cake to a great applause.
