Katawa Shoujo- Raindrops and Puddles
The sunlight breaks through Lenny's window shortly before his alarm ruins the morning silence. Lenny was feeling sore. The events of the previous evening suddenly intrude upon his consciousness, and Lenny finds himself blushing. That was an eventful evening - and it explains perfectly the soreness in his lower back. The walk back after shopping with Hanako, as he recalled, had been rather tense. His trousers had been... soiled, Lenny had decided to change his pants and put them off in the bathroom before going back to his room. But there was still a fairly obvious-looking stain on the front. Nothing like a good bit of laundry could solve, the people come along and do the laundry right?
Fortunately for Lenny, the only person he ran into on his way back from Hanako was Kenji. And he didn't notice a thing. Well, apart from his being in the general vicinity. Of course he'd asked how the night went, and whether or not Lenny learned anything of importance. Lenny didn't even know if he opened my mouth to answer; he was too tired to care. And this morning, Lenny had to admit that he's feeling pretty worn out. Still, Emi had promised to meet Lenny at the track, and he'd hate to disappoint.
Classes seemed to go on for much of the morning without much incident. Things were definitely heating up for next week regarding all of the tests. It didn't help that Lenny felt like he was being followed by Shizune and Misha. He was turning his head back every hallway he traveled down to make sure they weren't on his tail. Hisao was looking pleased regarding what was going on in terms of Lenny's performance in class. It was the end of fourth period and they were going to head down the stairs and part ways for the next period.
"You're doing fantastic, the teachers are impressed and Mutou says that he might make the test harder for you as you are finding your stride." Hisao began speaking to Lenny as if he was proud of him.
"Thank you. There's still a bit we can accomplish regarding the whole class situation if it arises." Lenny explained to Hisao if this was going to be the next thing. Hisao gave a smile as he opened the door to the staircase. This was the staircase they usually used when it came to exiting the building for the track field.
"That's good to hear. I'm going to pick up something in the library and see if Hanako can deliver it to you. I might be planning something with you regarding this weekend. Two events maybe? I'm still thinking of this to try to make you feel involved." Hisao would explain to Lenny to see if he was willing to go out and spend time with the people who liked him.
"Well… thanks." Lenny seemed to give that in his reply. Then Misha and Shizune came around the corner to give Lenny a "friendly" welcome.
"SURPRISE!" Misha shouted as this took them both off guard. Hisao stumbled back but Lenny lost his footing and stumbled down the stairs. He was then resting at the bottom. Shizune happily gave some hand gestures. "WAHAHA! Shicchan wanted to do that as we wanted to gauge your reaction, Hicchan." Misha seemed to laugh hysterically thinking it was funny.
"Yeah but you didn't need to scare the ever living daylights out of me and Lenny." Hisao explained that it was unnecessary to do something like that. He looked down the stairs to see Lenny lying there. He was unable to move. "Lenny!" Hisao shouted. He raced down the stairs to help his friend out. Lenny was trying his best to get up as Hisao arrived at his side.
"Gah my foot!" Lenny yelped.
"Which one?" Hisao asked.
"Left foot." Lenny explained to Hisao. Hisao began to help Lenny to his feet as Shizune and Misha looked on. Hisao didn't want to talk to them. He was just more focused on his friend. Hisao began to support him as they walked away.
"It's okay, just remain calm." Hisao instructed as he carried Lenny to the Nurse's office. Shizune and Misha were wondering if they screwed up but Shizune seemed to be more angry about this. Almost if Lenny was getting in the way and they were being ignored.
Lenny was brought to the Nurse's office as he was sitting down with Hisao standing beside him. The Nurse was checking his foot.
Katawa Shoujo- Ah Eh I Oh You
"It's not broken so that's a big relief." The Nurse began speaking. "However, based on the description, Lenny definitely tumbled pretty far down and he'll have his foot bandaged up for the next couple of days so he can't run." The Nurse explained the fact that Lenny was going to be indeed sitting out for his track classes.
"Man that must be pretty nasty I must say?" Hisao asked the Nurse as he got out the bandage.
"Yes, it is. Fortunately he's not hurt too badly thankfully but as a precaution, I'm going to have Lenny sit out for the next couple of days while his foot heals." The Nurse explained to Hisao about what's going to happen. He then turned to Lenny. "You can keep the bandage and the clips holding it together. Students say that it's handy whenever they get themselves hurt again and need a pressure bandage to put on their injuries." The Nurse explained as Hisao helped Lenny pull the sock up his foot.
"Thanks again Nurse. Is my heart doing okay?" Lenny asked the Nurse to make sure.
"It is. I'm happy that you're adjusting to Yamaku nicely and you're starting to become more social, I will add." The Nurse gave his assessment of Lenny to him on how he was progressing so far.
"That's good to hear, I must be going now." Lenny told Hisao and the Nurse. Hisao decided to help Lenny out to the track while the Nurse waved goodbye.
Lenny was late for sure after his visit to the Nurse. She is indeed waiting for him when he arrives. Doing her best to look cheery, despite the fact that she's sitting in a wheelchair. Lenny waves to her and begins stretching despite the battering his foot took earlier.
"You're early." Lenny began speaking to Emi that he was just teasing her. Emi frowns and shakes her head.
"Ridiculous. You're late. Overslept, Lenny? All tuckered out?" Emi asked. She was being rather serious this time but at least she seems more like her old self. And as expected, she doesn't seem that shy about mentioning their... previous activities.
"Hey, you're lucky I could not show up at all. All that cardiovascular activity last night, I nearly thought I'd have to see the nurse afterwards." Lenny began as he slumped down a bit. "I can't run either as I hurt my left foot on the way here." Emi laughs out loud, then her face suddenly becomes concerned.
"Hey, that's not uh... I mean, you're not..." Emi tried her best to explain to Lenny, she was wondering if he was sitting out too much like her. She couldn't explain this to Lenny.
"Go on, spit it out." Lenny asked Emi if she could think of something she could say regarding their condition. Emi gave it some thought before she began speaking.
"It's just that it would be hard to explain if you had an episode while we were..." Emi explained as she was worried in their "play" Lenny's heart began to act up and he wouldn't respond.
"Oh. Oh." Lenny explained to Emi that he didn't know what this answer was going to be but he understood the situation regarding what would happen. Now that she mentions it, it really is a legitimate concern. Lenny certainly hadn't thought of it last night, of course - other, more pressing concerns had been at hand.
"Well, I don't think anything we, er, do is going to be any more of a strain than these morning runs, and I handle those fine, so..." Lenny tried his best to explain to Emi that if she was putting more pressure on him, was it going to be more than the runs he was going to undergo. Emi considers this point. A devious light appears in her eyes.

"Say..." Emi began. Lenny's head perked in the direction of her smile.
"Hmm?" Lenny asked, he was a bit confused by what Emi had to say. The light vanishes, and Emi grins ruefully at me. Lenny couldn't help but feel vaguely suspicious.
"I seem to have forgotten a pair of gloves." Emi laid out the situation where she was going to need Lenny for something. Lenny was confused. Gloves? What for?
"What do you need gloves for?" Lenny asked Emi what she needed Gloves to do with. Emi indicates the chair upon which she is seated.
"For this, of course! Sure, regular moving around is all well and good without 'em, but I want to be able to get a good workout. And to get that kind of speed, you gotta have gloves if you don't want blisters." Emi explained that she was going to need the gloves. Lenny was still rather confused by all of this.
So what, are you wussing out on me then? Do I have to go it alone?" Lenny asked, he tried to remain as calm as he could in front of Emi. He didn't want to be angry with her, she didn't do anything to make him mad at her. Emi thinks for a minute - or pretends to think.
"Hmm... if I remember right, there's a spare pair or two in the track shed." Emi explained to Lenny that there was a spare pair of gloves in the shed that the track students shared with the other school teams. Lenny began to consider Emi's thoughts for a moment. So she does seriously want to do it, then. But in her normal school uniform? Lenny expected her to wear her gym outfit for something like this.
"Wait, what are they doing there?" Lenny asked. He wanted to see if they could try to find something in there that was going to match the description of the pair of gloves. Emi looks askance at Lenny.
"Seriously? You can't think of why a shed full of track supplies at a school for the disabled would have racing gloves?" Emi asked Lenny if the shed was going to not have what she was looking for. Well, when she puts it that way, Lenny supposed that it makes perfect sense.
"Hey, I'm still getting used to this place. Give me a break, huh?" Lenny asked as he tried to ask for Emi's forgiveness/ Emi smiled while thinking of what she wanted to do with Lenny.
"I guess I can let it slide this time. Now come on, I'll need your help." Emi told Lenny that she could use his help if she was going to get what she needed. Lenny can't imagine what for, but then again he didn't have a clue why racing gloves would be in the shed, so he's not willing to press the issue. Emi navigates her way to the shed easily enough, though he can hear her grumbling under her breath. It's actually kinda cute. Lenny had to hurry a little to reach the door first. Opening it will be easier for him than for her. The door opens, and Emi starts to wheel inside, only to come to a sudden halt at the doorway. It seems the doorsill is slightly too high for her to get over by herself. She makes a few runs at it, unsuccessfully, before crossing her eyes and glaring at the offending object. "Stupid wheelchair. Lenny, can you give me a hand here?" Emi grumbled that she wasn't able to get over the hump.
"Sure, no problem." Lenny explained to Emi that he decided to help her. It's a simple enough matter for Lenny to bump Emi over the doorway, jostling her slightly.
"Hey, easy there!" Emi explained to Lenny that she wasn't comfortable about being shaken around.
"Whoops! Sorry." Lenny explained to Emi as he felt her shaking around. It's at about this time that Lenny fails to notice where he's going and runs Emi's chair into a mat. She gives a startled yelp and topples forward out of her chair. There's a moment of silence as Lenny gazes in horror upon what he's done, and Emi glares at him.
"Lenny..." Emi asked.
"Yes?" Lenny asked Emi. He wasn't sure what Emi needed to ask him for.
"Promise me you'll never work at a hospital." Emi told Lenny that she hoped that he wasn't going to work with people if he was going to. It was this experience that told her that she didn't want him to do this to others.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to!" Lenny shouted as he waved his hands around. He didn't want to do something like this to Emi. Emi giggles, and holds up a hand.
"Would you kindly help me back into my chair, Lenny?" Emi asked Lenny if he could help her into the chair. As Lenny bends down to pick up Emi, she grins in triumph and pulls him into a kiss that quickly has them both entirely unconcerned about getting her back into the chair. Lenny blushed heavily as his eyes widened with this kiss. In fact, as he moves to a more comfortable position, Lenny confesses that the chair is pushed out the door, which, startled by the passage, swings shut. Well, at least we've got privacy now, which is a good thing as Emi's hands work quickly to remove her blouse and skirt. Lenny's startled to discover that she's forgotten to put her bra on today. Did she plan this? Her arms hook under him and rest on his shoulders as Lenny kisses his way down Emi's neck, pausing to give special attention to a spot right where the neck meets the shoulder that Emi found last night. "Y-you've gotten pretty good at th-hee!"
"I do try." Lenny explained to Emi that he would try his best. Emi pushes on his chest, insistently, and Lenny draws back with a puzzled expression.
"I've got a confession, Lenny." Emi began. She smiled as she was ready to declare the confession to him.
"Oh?" Lenny asked. He was confused about what Emi was going to ask him for. Having pulled back, Lenny decided instead to focus his attention on her eyes. As she attempts to speak, her words are interspersed with giggles that Lenny had to admit he finds incredibly cute.
"I don't ac-hee hee hee-actually w-woah! Wear gloves." Emi confessed. So that was the reason why she dragged Lenny inside, she didn't wear gloves but wanted some alone time with the one person she liked… a lot. Lenny's own reply is rather mumbled onto her chest instead of being addressed to her face.
"Should've known..." Lenny muttered to Emi. Words quickly become irrelevant. Emi's movements are almost frantic, as if she's been holding something back since they met this morning, and now she has an outlet. Lenny was very nearly caught off guard by her aggressiveness, feeling her nearly rip his shirt off, the way she seems to vie to be in the dominant position. For his part, Lenny had to confess that he's caught up in her attitude as well, fighting back, rolling and wrestling even as he tries keeping his eyes on her face, even as her fingers dig into his shoulders, and Lenny loses track of where they are. So much so that He roll right off the mat and landed on something small and rather hard. "Ow!" Lenny yelped, it wasn't his foot that he managed to hurt again but this was something else that he didn't know about. Emi, still flushed and breathing a little heavily, peers at Lenny and bursts into laughter.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Are you all right?" Emi asked Lenny if he was okay. Lenny lifted himself up from the spot to see what he landed on.
"Yeah, I think so. Not sure what I landed on, though..." Lenny asked, he didn't exactly know what he landed on. Lenny reached under his back and pulled the offending object out, inspecting it closely. "Personal lubricant. Lemon-flavored." Wait, what? Emi's eyes shoot upwards and she begins, if possible, to laugh even harder. "Somehow, I don't think this is... this isn't track-related."

"Oh man, I know whose that is!" Emi began as her smile was wider than ever.
"What?" Lenny asked. He was curious to figure out what the object that Emi was talking about.
"It's the track captain's!" Emi gave a surprised reply to who the lubricant belonged to. Ah, Lenny's old nemesis. Or, kind of.
"How d'you know it's his?" Lenny asked. He didn't know about this until he landed right on it. It appears that Lenny asked a stupid question, or at least Emi thinks so.
"Because he's the one who told me the track shed was a good place for... what did he call them? "Clandestine encounters."" Emi explained to Lenny that she knew who the lube belonged to.
"Oh? He invited you to one or something?" Lenny asked curiously. He didn't know anything about this but Emi surely does. Emi bursts into more laughter. Lenny had to confess the sight of a naked Emi laughing is oddly beautiful. Lenny felt an eagerness to end the conversation and get back to what they were doing, despite Lenny's rather pointed questioning.
"Lenny, the track captain's gay." Emi explained to Lenny that the track captain had no interest in her. Huh. That still doesn't explain the bottle of lube he keeps on him.
"Really? And here I initially thought you two were a couple." Lenny asked. This definitely wasn't explaining the bottle of lube he had on him. Emi had to do some more explaining.
"Well... I did have a crush on him when I first joined up, but he wasn't interested. Obviously. But we are good friends, I guess. I mean he told me about all this, you know." Emi explained to Lenny about her first crush was the track captain but that was when she was a first year.
"I hesitate to ask," Lenny began, he hesitates and really, he does. But he decided to ask anyway.
"But what does he need the uh... lube for, anyway? I mean, he doesn't... er..." Lenny asked as his face turned as red as a rose. He felt embarrassed asking this but how the hell does Emi always manage to not blush?
"Obviously he uses it for, you know." Emi paused before making a crude facial expression. "Anal." Emi explained to Lenny what she uses the lube for. Lenny tries to suppress a snicker. He ends up failing. Emi's giggling too.
"And he tells you about all this?" Lenny asked Emi if this was going to a thing between them. Emi shrugs.
"Yeah, of course. He's kinda wild about the whole thing. Says it's a feeling that can't be beat." Emi explained to Lenny that he was wild and always doing this Anal thing. Lenny didn't know what this meant or what he was getting himself into.
"Uh... huh." Lenny gave some hesitant explanation. The air in the track shed seems charged with some kind of horrible curiosity. "That's interesting. I suppose I'll have to take his word for it." Lenny explained to Emi. Emi paused as she tried to think of something to say.
"Well..." Emi began before she froze up. Birds outside stop chirping. The wind dies down. Somewhere, a man is drinking a cup of coffee. He freezes with the cup at his lips. "We could... maybe... Try it." Emi admitted that she wanted to do Anal with Lenny. His jaw suddenly and spontaneously unhinges and hits the floor.

"W-what?" Lenny asked. He didn't know how to react to this if at all. Emi is finally blushing, rubbing the back of her head ruefully.
"Well, it's just that we really can't... do what we did last night, you know? It would be a little... it wouldn't be safe, you know? I mean it wasn't exactly a great idea last night. So you know, we could try this to see if it uh..." Emi explained that they couldn't do much last night as it was a sign that both of them couldn't walk that well.
"Is it as good?" Lenny asked as he picked up the bottle of lemon lube. He felt reluctant to have Anal with Emi. Almost if his mind was asking: "Do I have to?"
"Well uh, yeah. Basically." Emi explained. Lenny looked down at the bottle he had in his hands.
"Huh." Lenny would tell Emi. Lenny closed his eyes as he didn't know what he got himself into. "I'm going to regret doing this." Lenny muttered to himself as he unscrewed the cap to the lube bottle.

Hisao and Hanako had found their way to the library as Hisao was speaking to Hanako about something.
"Okay I said that Yuuko had something over here that she said she wanted you to pick up. Can you bring it to Lenny?" Hisao asked Hanako if she managed to have the chance. Hanako looked at Hisao curiously.
"Is there a reason you want me to do this?" Hanako asked Hisao why she was being chosen for a task like this.
"Well I'm going to be busy afterward with some homework and since Lenny hurt himself by Shizune and Misha, I was thinking that you can make the delivery to him. You see him during the last period right?" Hisao explained his reasoning that he wasn't going to be available regarding what was going on.
"Yes." Hanako gave her reply. She didn't know exactly what she was bringing to Lenny for him to watch over. Hisao walked over to the desk and decided to ring the bell that was there. Yuuko turned her head to them.
Katawa Shoujo- Everyday Fantasy
"Just in time you two. I bet you're wondering why I brought you two here regarding the whole situation with one of your friends?" Yuuko began.
"What is it Yuuko?" Hisao asked. He was curious to see why he was invited over here. Hanako stood back a bit.
"Well I was out shopping to get some new books for the library to order in bulk when I stumbled on someone selling movies. I wondered if they were real and he said yes. So I looked around to find out what I wanted to purchase and Hanako remembered those books you borrowed from me?"
"I do." Hanako explained to Yuuko with interest.
"Well I found a copy of the Ender's Game movie and I thought you and Lenny would like it. If you need help finding something to play it on, Come to me, I have a couple of things you can borrow." Yuuko explained to Hanako. Hanako's eyes lit up with excitement, she had never watched.
"Thank you a lot Yuuko, I better tell Lenny about this if we can set up a movie night in his dorm. We might as well do it tomorrow night." Hanako explained the plan to Hisao. Hisao gave Yuuko a farewell before they exited the library.
"Come again." Yuuko told Hanako and Hisao. "Now onto finding that burglar." Yuuko told herself. She had located a few of the missing books but not all of them. She had them with her so she was making progress.
The door to the storage shed opened up as Lenny pushed Emi out. They both felt rather awkward and sore. It was clear that they didn't have such a good time.
"Ow!" Emi would begin as she tried to get herself comfortable.
"Ow." Lenny replied. He was indeed walking funny. The air outside was definitely a welcoming sensation.
"That hurt at the end!" Emi would yelp. She felt very sore.
"Yeah, I uh... This was probably not a great idea." Lenny replied. He too was feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Emi squirms in order to try and sit down in her wheelchair without too much pain. Judging by her wincing, it doesn't really work.

"Yeah, I'm going to have words with the captain. He was clearly lying." Emi would state, that wasn't a very good idea to do Anal. The utter and absolute ridiculousness of the situation suddenly hits, and Lenny begins laughing. Emi shakes her head and begins laughing with him. "Hey, Lenny?"
"Yeah?" Lenny would ask Emi if this was going to be a suggestion going forward.
"We're never doing this again, right?" Emi would ask, she wanted to make sure they were all on the same page.
"Yeah, I think my curiosity is satisfied on this one." Lenny would softly reply. He didn't want to do this again. Emi nods, satisfied.
"Good. I think we should maybe stick to the basics, don't you? I mean most of this is new to me anyway." Emi asked if they should just stick to what they know and not try anything new so they didn't end up as awkward as this.
"What d'you mean, "most?"" Lenny asked, Emi if she had any idea regarding Emi grins impishly.
"I'll never tell." Emi gave her reply. An unpleasant thought strikes Lenny. Even more unpleasant is the thought of having to ask Emi about it. Still, after what they've just done, it should be a cakewalk.
"Hey, is there a sink? I'd kinda like to, er. Wash off a little." Lenny asked as he wanted to wash his hands. He didn't know about what he needed something for. A good shower will have to come later. Emi's jaw drops.
"In the sink?" Emi asked.
"Well, there's not really anywhere else to do it, is there? And it uh... I want to avoid the smell. That someone might notice." Lenny asked as he didn't want to smell like lemon lube from the little experiment that they had just done. This is the most awkward conversation Lenny has ever had.
"You're right. Yeah, there's uh... It's on the back wall. There might be some soap, too." Emi told Lenny where they could go get the soap and supplies. For Lenny this was enough as he decided to begin washing his hands. After that he walked back over to Emi.
"Thanks." Lenny told Emi that he was going to have to wing it on the way back. There was in fact a little hand soap which is better than nothing. No towel, though. Guess Lenny will just have to drip dry.
"All finished?" Emi asked Lenny if he was done for now.
"Yeah, that'll do for now. It's not like I'm not going to take a shower after you see the nurse." Lenny explained as he looked at his watch. He needed to be in his next class within the next ten minutes so he couldn't stand around while Emi and the nurse chatted. Most likely find somewhere to catch an elevator up.
"Glad to hear it. I guess I'll be seeing you around then?" Emi explained to Lenny that their little activity had eaten into lunchtime and now there wasn't enough time to go eat.
"Hey, you were no better! Lunch ends in less than ten. Were we in there longer than planned?" Lenny tried his best to sound as playful as he could but it didn't help that this kind of came off as a scold.
"Heh, sorry. I got a little excited earlier." Emi admitted that the excitement got the better of her. It takes some time, but finally they're both more or less clothed. There's a frantic moment where neither of them knows where they were but Emi's wheelchair being outside certainly didn't help, but Lenny had to recall it going through the door and rescuing it. "Now be more careful going through the door this time, would you? Bumps are not my friend right now."
"I am so sorry we tried this." Lenny apologized to Emi that he had regretted everything regarding Emi's request. Emi shrugs and grins.
"Well, it was worth a shot, right? And anyway, it was good exercise, right?" Emi asked Lenny. Lenny couldn't argue that. As they make their way up to the nurse's office, Lenny notices that Emi keeps shifting uncomfortably in her seat. "God, this feels weird. Good thing I'm in a wheelchair, Lenny."
"Why's that?" Lenny asked Emi if there was a reason why she was in a wheelchair.
"Because, now I don't have to explain to the nurse why I'm walking funny." Emi explained to Lenny. Lenny smiled as he was dropping Emi off at the office to see how she was going to be checked out.
"Oh. We're never doing this again." Lenny told Emi as he got up and left. There was no comment on the marks that Emi left on his shoulders. Nor does the nurse ask about Emi's constant shifting about in her wheelchair. Either he didn't notice, or he didn't want to notice. All the same, Lenny was going to have to make sure he didn't slip cyanide into his medication for a little while. Just to be safe. Lenny walked his way to his last class and he had missed out on lunch, even in the last class he seemed to be suspicious about everyone around him, he didn't want to draw any sort of attention. After the last class of the day had ended, Lenny headed for his dorm to rest and clean himself off after his little adventure with Emi. Hanako meanwhile wanted to see what Lenny was up to as she had something to give him. Gathering up the courage she had. She went to speak to Lenny.
Hanako and Hisao wandered through the boy's dorm to figure out where Lenny was. Hisao knew for sure Lenny was alone somewhere on the fifth floor, no dorm neighbors and such. Then there was a knocking sound behind them as they kept walking.
"Who's there?" Hisao asked as he turned around, he saw nothing behind him. He turned back with Hanako as they continued up the sound of knocking was heard again as Hisao and Hanako didn't know what was happening. "That's not how the joke goes at all." Hisao continued. The knocking sound was heard again as someone was trying to get their attention. Hisao was growing frustrated. "I already said who's there! More importantly, what time is it? Even more importantly, what day...?" Hisao asked, he and Hanako were suddenly catapulted into wakefulness by both the fact that the knocking still hasn't stopped and the fact that it's the afternoon. On a school day. Hisao and Hanako can remember why they came to the boys dorm in the first place but they didn't know who was knocking. "I wonder how long this knocking is going to continue. Guess I ought to answer the door." Hisao asked as he opened the door to the dorm that was on his floor. Hisao was strangely unsurprised to see Kenji on the other side. Though it appears that Kenji is surprised to see Hisao.

"What the hell are you doing here, man?" Kenji began. He didn't exactly know what he was doing but he was knocking on the door to the stairwell to get Hisao's attention.
"Well, Hanako has something to drop off for a friend, that's why we came here." Hisao explained to Kenji why they were here in the first place. "Leave now." Hisao whispered to Hanako. Hanako left the scene as she went to go find Lenny. Kenji nods in understanding.
"A gift. I see. I told Lenny to be careful around that Ibarazaki chick, man. This is the sort of thing that happens when you aren't cautious." Kenji began as he was frustrated over the fact that he was getting into gossip about one of the students. Kenji definitely seemed to be having his suspicions on him. He makes an attempt to look at the back of Hisao's head. "Did Shizune hit you with something? Or was it a drug?"
"Stop trying to touch me." Hisao told Kenji to keep his hands off of him. Kenji produces a flashlight and shines it in Hisao's eyes.
"You got a concussion?" Kenji asked Hisao if Shizune managed to hit him to knock him out.
"I wasn't knocked out!" Hisao protested, he didn't want to get integrated by Kenji over some kind of nonsense.
"Maybe you just don't remember." Kenji replied before turning the flashlight off. This conversation isn't going anywhere.
"No, I just had a tiring morning and I want a nap." Hisao explained that he just needed some kind of sleep regarding the whole experience with Shizune and Misha, the incident involving them and Lenny on the stairs. Kenji didn't seem to accept it.
"Whatever, man. If you want to be in denial about this, I guess I can't stop you. But you gotta watch out for that girl, man. She's not safe." Kenji explained to Hisao. He was of course talking about Emi, Lenny's girl, the one who he should watch out for.
"What?" Hisao asked in a rather confused state. He didn't know what exactly Kenji was talking about.
"She's not safe to be around; she's one of their most sinister agents! If you're not careful, there's no telling what could happen! She's brought down stronger men than you, you know!" Kenji explained as he seemed to be very paranoid and thorough in the investigation.
"What the hell are you talking about? She's not an agent of anything, and she didn't knock me out, okay? I also highly doubt that she's brought down anyone at all." Hisao explained that he didn't understand any of this at all and Kenji was just there to bother him over this nonsense. Kenji looks almost offended. Hisao had no idea why.
"You don't believe me? That's cold, man. Real cold. I'm just trying to look out for you. That's what friends do, you know." Kenji explained to Hisao that he was being left out in the cold despite the fact that he was trying to look out for him. Hisao scratched the back of his head. Hisao began to think: We're friends? He had no idea. Then again, he wonders if Kenji knows what being a friend even entails. Hisao wanted to feel something like pity for him, standing there before him. Maybe he does think he's looking out for Hisao.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry about that. Thanks for the warning." Hisao told Kenji, his words were merely to get Kenji off of his back as he was in no mood to talk to him. Hisao held out his hand as a sign of peace. Kenji shakes it gingerly, like his hand could possibly be on fire. There's an awkward silence for a few seconds before Kenji remembers that he's still shaking Hisao's hand.
"Anyway, I need a favor." Kenji began as he wanted to see if he needed something from Hisao.
"What kind of favor? I'm out of money…" Hisao explained that he didn't have any money to spare for Kenji. Kenji meanwhile got inflamed by these words and began speaking.
"No you aren't. You've got money kept in your desk drawer under a black notebook. For emergencies." Kenji stated where Hisao kept the money if he was going to need it for emergencies. Hisao seemed concerned, did Kenji break into his room and figure out where everything was.
"Did you ransack my room?" Hisao asked Kenji if he went out of his way to know the location of all of Hisao's belongings.
"That's not important. I don't need money, anyway." Kenji told Hisao. Hisao breathed a sigh of relief that Kenji didn't need any cash on him. Then Kenji adopts a very serious tone.
"I'm about to undertake a major op. It'll blow the whole conspiracy wide open if I'm right. But it's dangerous, so I need you to do something for me in case I don't come back." Kenji explained to Hisao what he planned on doing regarding the whole situation that he was facing currently.
"Uh, sure man. Anything." Hisao faked his way as if he was going along with the plan. He wanted no part in this. What the hell is he planning on doing? Should Hisao tell someone about this?
"If I go missing, wait three days and then mail my journal off to the newspapers. It's hidden in my room under a false bottom in one of my desk drawers." Kenji explained to Hisao where his journal was that Kenji wrote in. Hisao began to think about this as he didn't know why he needed Kenji's journal for something. He didn't know how to access Kenji's dorm to begin with.
"How do I get into your room? I don't have a key." Hisao asked Kenji that there was no way he was going to get inside and get to his dorm. Kenji looks at Hisao like he's crazy.
"So pick the lock. You know how to do that, right? It's an important skill to learn at a young age!" Kenji exploded as Hisao never knew how to pick locks. Kenji thinks picking locks would be useful but why though?
"Uh, yeah, of course I know how. I'll be sure to uh, do that for you. If you go missing." Hisao explained to Kenji that if he did go missing, Hisao would take Kenji's journal and have it published. Hisao gulped, he didn't think he would want to read Kenji's journal. Either way, Kenji seems pretty happy that Hisao agreed to do this thing for him.
"Great, man. Great. I'll see you around, I got stuff to do." Kenji told Hisao while he began to walk away. And he's gone, dashing down the hallway. He made it seem so final. Hisao hoped he wouldn't have to carry out his final wishes. Shaking his head, Hisao closed his door and walked back to his bed. Guess a nap wouldn't hurt, if only to catch the last half of the day. But he's come this far without getting a headache from the after class meetings, studying and the homework... And Hisao did want to read more of that Hawking book Mutou lent him... Hisao was sure he'll understand.
Knock knock. Hanako was knocking on the door to see if Lenny was in his dorm. She was being soft to see if Lenny was going to reply.
"Who's there?" Lenny asked whoever was at the door. He was still unsure about who it was.
Katawa Shoujo- Afternoon
"Me! Aren't you glad?" Hanako asked. Lenny opened the door nervously to see who wanted to pay him a visit. It was Hanako indeed. Lenny was half undressed with his pants and trousers on but his shirt was missing. By the looks of things, he was still getting himself dressed when Hanako knocked on the door.
"Hey Hanako. Nice to see you again." Lenny told Hanako that he was pleased to be seeing her. Hanko smiled softly as she looked at Lenny.
"Yeah, you would have seen me earlier, but Kenji held me and Hisao up and I would have given you something at the end of class but you seemed to be a little further away than normally. Also the elevator that would come to your floor is broken again. Had to wait for them to fix it. You'd think they could keep it in better order, but nooo..." Hanako expressed to Lenny that she had something for him regarding the entire time she wished to see him. Lenny kept the door open as Hanako walked into the room.
"There. Much more comfortable than that classroom seat." Hanako expressed this as she sat down on Lenny's bed. She felt strangely comfortable on it. A sigh of contentment hangs in the air, and for a minute they both just stare at one another. It's at that point that Hanako notices the circles under Lenny's eyes. They're not that dark, but they definitely weren't there before. Before Lenny can ask Hanako why she came here, Hanako continued to speak. "So, I couldn't help but notice you weren't at lunch today. In fact, I don't think I saw you at all. What happened, hmmm?"
"I fell on my ankle and I can't run well because of it. Emi was in the storage shed with me and we didn't have time to eat and I decided to just hurry back and shower as I don't want to smell of Lemons." Lenny explained that he had his activity with Emi as he tried his best to tread lightly on the part of him and Emi having anal sex. Hanako was curious to see what was going on.
"What made you so… hurried if I may ask?" Hanako asked why Lenny was in such a rush to the shower, was he hiding something.
"Well I didn't want anyone to know that I smelled of Lemons as I was worried about drawing unnecessary attention to me but I'm clean now." Lenny nervously explained to Hanako that his activity with Emi has left him on a stage of anxiety but that seemed to have calmed down due to him taking a shower to get the scent of lemon lube off of him. Hanako coughs, a half-laughing, half-embarrassed noise.
"Remind Emi not to do that again." Hanako told Lenny that she didn't want to see Lenny away from the crowd like that. At least he wasn't upset so that was a plus.
"No problem. It wasn't exactly great for me either, to be honest. We'll just avoid that from now , what did you come here for?" Lenny asked Hanako as he wanted to get back on track. He sat down on his bed still shirtless though. Hanako stares at Lenny in disbelief. "What? It's a legitimate question."
"Of all the questions I never thought I'd be asked, that's one of them." Hanako told Lenny with a smile that she knew that was something she wanted to be asked about.
"Well, I didn't ever expect to have to ask it, so we're even?" Lenny asked awkwardly as Hanako laughed a bit at this.
"I guess so, huh? Well, since you asked, yes. Yuuko told me to give a copy of Ender's Game to you so we can watch it this weekend even though we should be studying for upcoming exams. We just need to figure out the right time to watch it." Hanako expressed to Lenny as she handed him the copy of the movie. "Yuuko thought of us and decided to give a copy to us."
"No arguments from here. How very kind of her." Lenny told Hanako that it was very nice of her to give him a copy of the movie. Hanako smiles, then a yawn escapes her, and Lenny raises an eyebrow. "Tired?" Hanako nods sleepily.
Katawa Shoujo- Lullaby of Open Eyes
"Haven't slept well for the past couple of nights. Exams are coming up and it piles on more stress than I can account for." Hanako explained that all of this studying was wearing her down and it was clearly the fact that the lack of sleep was a result. Not sleeping well? Lenny can tell that she didn't mean to tell him this either, because she gives a little start like she's just been caught lying and hastens to add. "It's not a big deal, though. I can nap after classes are done and that seems to do the trick but then I stay up late because of it."
"What's the trouble? Stressed over exams?" Lenny asked Hanako if this was what was giving her some trouble to think about it. Another shrug, but after a pause, Hanako nods hesitantly.
"Er, yeah, I guess. Actually, that's why I stopped by. I wanted to talk to you other than giving you the movie and being out the door." Hanako explained before she turned to see the scars on Lenny's chest. She kind of felt bad for him. Not only for what Hisao went through but what did Lenny do to have him go through something similar. "Goodness, you look like you've had it worse than Hisao."
"Huh? Why?" Lenny asked. Hanako takes a deep breath, like she's been practicing this.
"Based on the scars you must've had three to four surgeries by the looks of it and the fact that you're only taking one pill a day seems to be suspicious to me. I think it's best I tell Hisao about this and see what kind of medication we can get you hooked onto." Hanako explained to Lenny that the scars he must have seemed to be detrimental and taking only one form of medication was a recipe for disaster in Hanako's eyes. She wanted to see if Hisao was willing to share some of his medicine with Lenny.
"Well thanks. I don't know how Hisao would have to handle sharing some of his pills with me." Lenny told Hanako. Hanako smiles at Lenny, clearly unhappy with the situation.
"I'd love it if he could, but Hisao might get a few things wrong as we don't know what dosages you need. It'll feel overwhelming if we think of something such as this. It's best we leave the Nurse to decide on this." Hanako explained as she decided to take a look at Lenny's heart medication. "This isn't a one size fits all type of solution."
"Seems you're really looking out for me, thanks Hanako." Lenny expressed to Hanako that he appreciated her looking out for him. That earns him a grin, at least. Hanako shakes her head.
"Anything for a friend." Hanako told Lenny.
"Well, if we can truly be friends, and if you trust me, can you wrap my ankle with the bandage, I took it off to clean myself off." Lenny explained to Hanako if that was something she was willing to do.
"Sure thing Lenny, after all, you feel like a real friend after Lilly and Hisao. We were worried about you when you didn't show up earlier today for lunch." Hanako told Lenny before she grabbed the ace bandage and began to carefully wrap it around Lenny's ankle, it was bruised from when he fell down the stairs earlier today. "Let me know when it hurts."
"Hey, that's okay." Lenny told Hanako as she finished wrapping his ankle up. She applied the safety pins to keep it in place. It really seems to have been bothering Lenny and Emi though Emi was good at hiding it much for Lenny's own health. Besides, it'll only be a couple of weeks before summer vacation. And they'll still see each other in the mornings, and at lunch. "Anything planned for this weekend?" Lenny asked Hanako if there was anything on the table regarding what they can do to spend some time before the exams. Hanako grins, pleased by this proposal.
"Well, Akira is coming over to see us as there is some news regarding what's going on with Lilly and we were thinking of meeting at a bar, one that Akira had taken us to just recently and she wants a meeting back there to discuss something with Lilly and I thought, might as well take you and the new friends we made." Hanako told Lenny that she would be more than happy to take him with her to enjoy something. For Lenny, this was good as it would mean getting out of the school and by Hanako's new friends, she was talking about Emi and Rin. As if to signal the end of the conversation, she leans in and hugs Lenny. The rest of the night is not spent worrying about exams. "I'll see you later." Hanako told Lenny.
"See you." Lenny softly thanked Hanako. The invite for the night out was tempting and for Lenny, this could possibly mean getting to know Hanako's friends a bit more.
