Duo Halfbreeds

Chapter Six: Mission after Mission…

A few weeks have passed and Raditz has returned to the nearest Frieza Force base, a large circular building that was ingrained into the ground. Raditz went to a strange machine, it had a display on it, and Raditz placed his chip onto a circular imprint.

The imprint glowed red, then the display changed, saying "ID ACCEPTED.", it changed again and showed a picture of Raditz in the top right corner, as well as a scroll ui on the far left, covering a third of the screen. Raditz placed his finger on the screen, moving it up and down.

It showed multiple different tasks and missions, however there was something particular caught by Raditz's eye, that said URGENT. Raditz sighed to himself as he looked at it, and read it. The letter on the top right corner had his name, plus his badge number, and with the top left corner who sent it.

The contents of the letter read. "Soldier Raditz of the Frieza Force is to return to Lord Frieza immediately, commanded and ordered by Lord Frieza himself. He is to give a summarized and brief report to Lord Frieza of the last few months of his whereabouts." At the bottom there was Lord Frieza's most recent location.

Raditz winced at the sight. "Not good." He muttered to himself. "Seems Frieza might be on to us. I'll have to be as vague as I possibly can." Raditz grabbed his chip from the machine, and the display turned automatically off. He put the chip in his pocket, and took off immediately to his pod.

Once he was inside his pod, he entered the coordinates and the pod floated up then flew off. Some time had passed, perhaps maybe a month or two, and as his pod reached Frieza's ship, it slowly entered a landing deck for it. Frieza's ship had been floating near the orbit of another planet, thus making it easier for Raditz to land.

In the dimly lit hallways, Raditz strode with purpose, his footsteps echoing softly against the cold metallic floor. The flickering lights cast eerie shadows, dancing like phantoms along the corridor walls. He was determined to reach the sanctum of Frieza's quarters, an elusive domain reserved for the privileged few.

Before Raditz could breach the threshold, a formidable barrier stood in his path - two guards, stalwarts of Frieza's regime. Their eyes, cold and calculating, locked onto Raditz as he approached, recognizing his presence with a mix of disdain and familiarity. Cui and Appule, their names etched in Raditz's memory like scars from past encounters.

"Cui, Appule," Raditz uttered their names with an undercurrent of irritation.

A smug grin curled upon Cui's lips, a manifestation of his petty authority. With a condescending tone, he retorted, "Sorry, Raditz, but this sanctuary remains forbidden to those who lack the requisite documents." His words dripped with a self-assured arrogance. "And you know as well as I do, those require signatures by Lord Frieza himself."

Raditz rolled his eyes and scoffed. He grabbed his chip out of the pocket, and pressed a tiny little button, out came a hologram of his said letter. Raditz slid his finger on the chip, pushing the hologram away. A split second afterwards, there was a beeping coming from Cui's pocket.

Cui pulled the chip out of his pocket and almost immediately the same hologram came up on his badge. "Read it and Weep, Cui." Raditz smirked.

Cui grudgingly scanned the contents of the letter, his eyes narrowing with annoyance. With an exasperated growl, he conceded defeat. "Very well, let us warn Lord Frieza first," he muttered, his irritation palpable. Turning to the wall, Cui located a button and a speaker, ready to make the necessary announcement.

"Lord Frieza..." Cui's voice resonated through the speaker, carrying a hint of resentment.

Frieza's voice crackled back, filled with impatience. "It better be important, Cui. I am extremely busy right now," he demanded.

Cui hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the impending encounter. "It's Raditz, he's here to see you. Says you called for him," he replied.

"Bring him in immediately."

"Yes, Lord Frieza," Cui acknowledged. He released his finger from the button, exchanging a glance with Appule, before both guards stepped aside to open the doors, granting Raditz access. As Raditz walked through the entrance, his posture shifted, immediately assuming a humble stance. His eyes were drawn to the imposing figure of Frieza, seated upon a floating circular chair, his gaze fixed upon the vast expanse outside the room's large window.

"Glad you've gotten the urgent letter I had sent, Raditz." Frieza said.

"Yes, Lord Frieza, I did. Would you like the report in paperwork for you to read or shall I tell you it myself?" Raditz asked.

As Frieza swiveled his chair around, revealing his imposing figure, Raditz couldn't help but shudder inwardly. The tyrannical visage of the intergalactic ruler bore an uncanny resemblance to a purplish-pink dinosaur, instilling a sense of fear and unease.

"Well, I've noticed that your comrades, Nappa and Vegeta, have taken on an unusually high number of missions lately, and I haven't seen them include you, despite the increased workload," Frieza explained, his voice laced with a hint of curiosity.

"Raditz gathered his thoughts before responding. "To be fair, Lord Frieza, Nappa and Prince Vegeta are far stronger than I am. They possess exceptional abilities and can handle most missions efficiently, often completing them at a much faster pace without my involvement," Raditz pointed out. "I'm certain they don't require my presence at all."

"Well, I do agree, and that is true. However, I found it rather peculiar that you were absent during this time." Frieza said, intertwining his fingers and subtly flexing them "What struck me as odd was that your absence coincided with Nappa and Vegeta's increased mission load. I must admit, I entertained the thought that perhaps they had done away with you

A lump formed in Raditz's throat as he stammered, "N-No, Sir, I assure you they would never... I didn't intend to be absent like that. I had personal matters to attend to."

Frieza raised an eyebrow, his tone shifting slightly. "Personal matters, you say?" His fingers continued their intricate dance. "Are you referring to your visit to a planet in the remote reaches of the galaxy? Earth, was it?"

"L-Lord Frieza, I have a reasonable explanation, if you would be willing to hear me out," Raditz pleaded, his voice tinged with desperation.

Frieza took a deep breath, considering Raditz's words. "Very well, but I expect a thorough report," he declared, his gaze unwavering.

Raditz sighed in exasperation, then nodded in agreement. "We discovered a planet, a valuable one that could fetch a hefty price. Designated as J-I97, the planet posed a significant challenge for the three of us alone. We needed additional reinforcements to gain an advantage."

Frieza's eyes narrowed as he interrupted, "And you didn't think to seek my assistance? I could have dispatched someone like Appule or Cui at your disposal."

"I apologize, Lord Frieza, but at the time, you were engrossed in border matters and negotiating new deals. We believed it was best to handle the situation independently," Raditz explained, his voice laden with sincerity.

Frieza gave a slightly surprised look. "Fair enough, continue…" He gestured his hand.

"Anyways, after exerting all our options, I did remember something…" Raditz sighed again, embracing himself. "I remember that I had a brother that was sent off to a Planet called Earth, and we had decided to recruit him."

Frieza's look began to express anger. "I swear, Lord Frieza, I had no intention of hiding this from you, I had completely forgotten and assumed he died anyways." Raditz quickly spoke. "He was born at a power level of one, so I assumed he was long dead."

"And was he?" Frieza asked.

Raditz shook his head. "Not quite. When I arrived on the Planet, he had somehow lost his tail, and thought he was one of those people on that planet." Raditz continued. "So I tried my best to recruit him, but nothing worked, even extreme force. When it had come to it, he teamed up with another inhabitant of the Planet and tried to fight me. However, he failed, and ultimately died."

"I see…" Frieza said. He turned back around. "You at least made sure to purge the planet after, correct?"

"No, I planned to go back there and do so, when I had fought him and his comrade, they proved to be rather difficult. I got cocky and overestimated them." Raditz pointed out. "But on my way back, I won't make the same mistake, plus Vegeta and Nappa will come to assure the Planet's demise. It is a huge planet, so despite my strength it would be faster to clean this way."

"Is the planet of any use to us?" Frieza asked, his gaze now on the stars in space.

"Yes, the planet Earth would actually be of great value to us, after we purge it of its inhabitants." Raditz answered. "And with how weak they are, we could do a thoroughly clean job on it. I don't think we'll have any issues keeping its value high."

Frieza turned back around. "This explains everything I suppose." He said. Raditz gave a sigh of relief, thinking he had managed to cover himself. "Except for one small issue. Earth is not that far from here nor the nearest base. Earth is in the Sol system, you should've been able to arrive at most systems pretty quickly. So what took you so long in your return? They could've not damaged you THAT badly, could they?"

"I had ship trouble, Lord Frieza." Raditz was quick to answer, seemingly already having an answer. "It was damaged due to my battle on Earth and I had to be cautious because of a minor fuel leak. So I had to re-fuel very often until I found the nearest mechanic."

Frieza relaxed his posture. "Very well, you're clear." He said. "However, as punishment for not telling me sooner, I will have Dodoria and Zarbon picking your missions specifically for the next several months. You may go now."

"Thank you, Lord Frieza." Raditz said, bowing as he left the room. Raditz exited the quarters, and walked through the halls. "Great. This will be fun, the only thing Dodoria and Zarbon like to do is have us Saiyans tortured. I'll probably die before my return to Earth. On top of it, Prince Vegeta will be mad at me for giving it away."

Raditz sighed to himself. "Well there's nothing I can do about it now." He thought. Raditz hurried himself to Zarbon's quarters first, quickly noticing that he was on leave, so he went to Dodoria's instead. "Yup that about figures, gotta be the guy who has more hate then the other."

Raditz entered Dodoria's quarters, who was clearly waiting on Raditz, especially with that smirk on his face. "Raditz. So glad that you could make it!" Dodoria said, mockingly.

Raditz rolled his eyes. "Come on Dodora, no time for games, let's get this done and over with."

Dodoria pulled a ton of paper out of his draws. "Alright then. I need you to take care of these three planets." He said. "They've been causing issues on the border of two solar systems, the Mazon system, and the Baye system, and can't get a signed deal until these three planets are purged completely."

Dodoria handed Raditz the papers, and Raditz took a quick look through them, then had his badge scanned to copy it. "Anything else?" Raditz said, annoyed.

"For now, take care of that, then we'll talk after." Dodoria answered.

Raditz nodded, got up from his seat, and left Dodoria's quarters. He ran back to the landing quarters, and got back in his pod. He entered a few coordinates then took off, heading into the Mazon system, Planet Osoft first.

Heading into this planet, he was greeted by a thick misty fog, but a luscious rainforest with pristine water bodies below. He landed in a random area, causing a crater on impact, but to his surprise no alert.

"Either they're sneaky bastards, or don't have the technology to detect my arrival." Raditz thought as he stepped out of his pod. Raditz looked at his surroundings, then collected some wood. "I'll camp here tonight, and carry it out in the morning."

Once some fire and tinder was collected, Raditz built a campfire structure and lit it with his energy blast, then he laid on the ground, swiftly heading to sleep. The next morning, the fire had been burnt out by itself, and Raditz was already on his way to continue his work.

"Let's see…" Raditz said. He grabbed his badge, pressed it, and a hologram opened up. Raditz placed his finger on it sliding up and down then selected something. "Population of five million, three hundred and eighty-two thousand." He then pressed a return button, and selected something different. "Okay, coordinates for the main city. If I get them alerted, I should be able to pull all of their forces' attention there."

Raditz floated up and flew off at high speed to the north. Stopping at the entrance, he noticed a ton of different types of automated turret machines pointed at him, charging their energy. Raditz gave a smirk and let the hundreds of beams attack him.

Once they were done, Raditz took his index finger and raised it, generating an energy sphere above his finger. He threw it in the air, causing it to vanish in the sky, as it came back down, not dozens, not hundreds, but thousands of tinier blasts came crashing down, all striking the dozens of turrets in Raditz's way.

This immediately caused guards and other security forces to be alerted to Raditz's location, but each one of them was struck down instantly by Raditz effortlessly. After several minutes, they stopped coming, civilians were cowering in fear, some hiding in their buildings.

"The mission details didn't specify about the Purging too much, and with Dodoria supervising this, cleaning the Cities can be a good or a bad thing." Raditz thought to himself as he lowered to the ground. "I think I'll just have to kill the citizens without destroying buildings."

Raditz walked through the streets as he waited for more to come. "Though I wonder where all the challenges are, this planet's average is around three hundred, so I surmise the elites are closer to my level." He continued walking, blasting someone every time he saw a civilian with a penetrating beam.

The people of Rosoft were robotic in appearance, but still physically organic. After about twenty more minutes, Raditz's scouter picked up three much higher power levels coming his way.

"Five fifty, Six seventy, and Seven fifty." Raditz sighed to himself. "Yup, that sounds about right. Course, it won't be like Kakarot and his friend that had beaten me. These weaklings have no technique, and I'll be sure to finish them off immediately."

The three power levels quickly landed in front of Raditz. The first one looked like a robotic medieval guard, with knee, elbow, and shoulder pads profound, and a closed cross helmet. He had a sheath attached to his waist, with a longsword in.

The second one looked like that of a Sheriff of the west, a western cowboy style hat, a long coat with a badge attached, and slick looking boots. He had a small pistol sheathed in the side of his waist, and a musket on his back.

The third one looked like some form of futuristic modern cop. With a cyclops wide eye, a badge on the right side of his chest, and circular pads on the palm of his hands.

"Halt! You are in violation of the law!" The third one spoke. "Any further action taken will be consid-"

Raditz unleashed a powerful kiai that caused the cop rosoftian to be sent flying back hard, crashing through several buildings until he collided into a much stronger building. The impact caused him to imprint on the building, causing several cracks around him.

He looked like a damaged robot, as parts of his limbs and chest suffered severe damage. The other two robots, the Sheriff and Medieval Guard rushed after Raditz immediately, with each one of them on opposing sides of Raditz.

As they approached, Raditz slammed his elbow into the Sheriff, who blocked the attack with his two arms in front of himself. The Sheriff was sent several feet away, and Raditz ducked the Guard's oncoming fist, that was aimed at his head.

Raditz swiftly lowered himself, pushing off the ground with his hands as he slammed his right foot into Guard, sending him high in the sky. As Raditz readjusted his balance, the Sheriff threw a fist at his face, but Raditz quickly recovered about ten feet away, and then unleashed a powerful energy wave.

"Die you pile of nuts and bolts!" Raditz yelled. The wave completely overwhelmed the Sheriff then eradicated him. Raditz's scouter showed a power of "670" then down to "0" simultaneously. A couple of seconds after it showed another level of "550", coming from the southwest.

Raditz whipped around to be met with a fist, which Raditz narrowly blocked, the attack caused him to slide back several feet. The guard leaped forward, making his way to throw another attack, but Raditz inched his head away, then slammed his fist in the guard's gut.

The guard coughed a mixture of blood and saliva and the oxygen from his lungs were pushed out. Raditz took another swing at the Guard's face as he was stunned, then a double ax handle on his forehead caused the Guard to fall instantly to the ground.

Raditz placed his foot harshly on the Guard's head, and pointed his hand at the Guard. "Begone!" Raditz yelled. He unleashed a powerful purple energy blast that eradicated the Guard. A short moment later, Raditz took a second to catch his breath until a kick from behind sent Raditz darting several miles away.

Raditz pushed himself up, seeing his Scouter read a new power level, zoning in from behind. "Not good. Almost fourteen hundred." Raditz thought. He flipped around and stood completely up, as he saw a new figure emerge. This figure looked like some kind of Bishop, even holding a staff with a circular tip.

Raditz gave a confused look. "Is that some kind of religious priest?" He rolled his eyes and took a stance.

The Bishop rosoftian stood for a moment, uttering quietly to himself. "Threat Unknown. Level: Dangerous." He said. "This threat must be exterminated immediately, otherwise our planet will be in danger."

The Bishop spun his staff around, then gripped it with both of his hands as he darted to Raditz, and swung his staff high at Raditz. Raditz tried to catch the staff with his two hands, suffering an intense shockwave through his arms. The Bishop unleashed his aura as he shoved forward, trying to push Raditz back.

However, Raditz pushed back, causing the Bishop's grip to release, then Raditz swung him hard with his own staff. The Bishop went flying, and Raditz chased after him as he hit the Bishop in the head with his own staff.

The Bishop flew into the air and began to fall, Raditz prepared as he got ready to swing the staff. "Batter Batter…" Raditz said. The Bishop approached Raditz, and Raditz swung as he was barely a foot above. "Swing!"

Raditz missed, the Bishop quickly vanished and struck Raditz from behind, causing him to be tossed several feet away, and the staff to be released from his grip. The Bishop rushed to Raditz as he was pushing himself up. He swung his staff and Raditz rolled narrowly avoiding the attack.

The Bishop swung again, but Raditz dodged, rolling to the other side, then he flipped up, and slammed his fist against the Bishop's face. The Bishop turned his head back quickly after, and kneed Raditz in his gut.

From the Bishop's red piercing eyes, he unleashed a blast against Raditz that radiated throughout his entire body, causing Raditz to groan in agony. The Bishop swung his staff again high, and slammed it against Raditz's shoulder, sending Raditz flying fast away.

He crashed off into a nearby mountainside, imprinted into it. "You are identified as a terrorist, your crimes are invasion and mass murder. Your punishment…" The Bishop's eyes glew red. "DEATH!"

A large red rectangular ray collided against Raditz's chest, generating extreme radiation and making Raditz scream in agony. The Bishop continued to unleash the ray to the point where Raditz's armor started to crack, and his skin started to burn.

"M-MUST THINK OF SOMETHING…Q-QUICK!" Raditz thought. He tried to move his arms and legs, but the beam forced him back. The crater that Raditz was in continued to get deeper as he was forced further in.

"Powering to 100% power." The Bishop said. His beam got larger, brighter, and stronger, pushing Raditz gradually throw the mountainside despite his resistance.

"N-no! Damn it! ALLLL!" Raditz's eyes opened wide, as he unleashed a violent explosion of energy, which caused the radiation beam to shake off him. Raditz launched forward, hurling his fist at the Bishop's face, sending the Bishop towards the ground. "Take this you bastard!" Raditz raised his hand, generating a pinkish purple electrical energy sphere, with a smaller smooth sphere inside of it.

"SATURDAY CRASH!" Raditz threw the energy sphere at The Bishop and it quickly collided with him, turning into a massive explosion. Raditz panted heavily as he waited for the explosion and then dust that came after to settle.

A few moments later and he was gone, Raditz gave a sigh of relief before passing out. Three hours later, Raditz awoke in pain, but knew he still had a mission to do. He returned to his pod first, where he had some first aid supplies and applied a strange green liquid which caused him to scream despite his efforts to hold it in.

"I'll take another hour to rest then finish the mission within the next week." Raditz thought out loud. He went up to a few trees, broke some down, and broke it down all into smaller wood pieces, then Raditz made a quick small hut.

A week went by and the planet was completely clean, Raditz had not encountered anymore as strong as the four from earlier he'd fought.

"I don't understand why planets like these exhaust their strongest like that in the beginning." Raditz rolled his eyes at the idea. Raditz stepped in his pod, flinching from some of his pain. "I'll have to heal up before I clear the next planet. Should be pretty quick."

The pod took off, and he headed to the next base where he healed up in a short few hours. After he was healed, Raditz headed for the next planet called Dex, as he landed, Raditz read his mission details.

"Let's see, blah blah purge the planet, blah blah blaah." Raditz scrolled through quickly skimming it. "Okay here go, so this planet is on a Terraform status."

Raditz formed a smirk on his face. "Then I shall wait till nightfall." He said. This meant that the Planet was to be wiped not only on its inhabitants, but cities, towns, structures, and all of the above. Everything about the planet was going to be useless because it was planned to terraform.

When dusk came and gone, and night had fallen, the full moon awakened to shine brightly. Raditz stood up from his seat, a wide and wicked smirk still formed on his face, he turned to the bright moon, where he quickly began to change.

First his eyes changed red, his muscles became more profound, his size gradually grew, then he quickly grew fur, growing faster and larger. Raditz's head changed shape, his jaw turning into more snout-like, his teeth becoming sharp, and again his size grew until he reached a little over a hundred feet.

When Raditz's transformation finished, he was a massive great ape, his armor had stretched and adjusted to size, including his gloves and boots. His long mane still reached near his waist. The most noticeable difference aside from his size, was his power.

Raditz took several steps forward, the sound echoing through the forest, sounding almost more like stomps, then he sped up and flew off. Although his speed seemed to have remained the same, not dropping or increasing, his power did not.

When Raditz had entered each and every city, he unleashed mayhem throughout them. Unleashing gigantic rays that could've eradicated the entire city and more itself, but Raditz used such a blast to simply obliterate the city itself, then several smaller blasts to smooth out the landscape around him.

He spent the next week and a half doing this until the planet was smoothed out of everything, resources, citizens, wildlife, and plants. Had the planet been smaller, he could've cleared it much faster. Raditz's final destination was planet Dobe.

Unlike Rosoft where the people look robotic and are physically organic, or Dex where the people are reversed, this planet was more alien in look. With some almost looking fish-like, fins on top or the side of their heads, on their upper arms and legs, as well as colorful skin, or others looking like other homo sapiens, with cybernetic enhancements. The latter is a common occurrence throughout the much more northern part of the galaxy.

Raditz arrived at the planet near dusk time, unlike the two planets before, this one was far smaller, holding a population of a little over 500,000. Which by default would make the average power level higher.

Once again Raditz made camp, checking his mission details. "Let's see here..Planet Dobe, average power level is around six hundred, which means elites are averaging one thousand to one thousand three hundred." Raditz sighed with exasperation. "That means, their strongest could be as strong as I am or worse…stronger."

He scrolled through the details some more, skimming through other details. "There's about twenty-eight large cities, with thirty-six sub cities, and about a hundred o' eight towns, with possible other villages." He spoke out loud. "Job must be done with finesse, and only can the cities, towns, and villages be destroyed. Planet is on Complete-Wipe non-terraform status."

Raditz got up and stretched as he saw the sun setting behind him. "Well, I better get started then. They won't expect me at night, so I could start out with the small fry today. Obliterating those villages and towns into non-existence will take no more than overnight."

At first he was right, Raditz marked down every village and town he'd found, destroying them with no issue. At the most he saw was a fighter of nearly six hundred, having quickly destroyed twenty-eight large towns, nine small towns, and seventy-two villages.

However, as quickly as he destroyed them, finding them had also quickly been harder. "This darn device should be able to detect them within hundreds and hundreds of miles, and yet it seems to be out of whack." Raditz said. "It must be their technology's signals interfering with it."

Raditz pressed a few buttons several times on his device trying to recalibrate it with no success. "Perhaps that energy sensing technique of Kakarot's might work." Raditz thought. He closed his eyes, trying to grasp the ability but then shook his head. "No, even if I could manage to do it, I doubt it'll be more efficient than my scouter."

His scouter made a slight static and error sign. "Then again…" Raditz sighed to himself, closing his eyes once more. "It shouldn't be any different from heightened senses, so maybe if I amplify it with my own ki."

Raditz's aura radiated around, flowing gently, as he continued to concentrate, quickly he began to detect small lifeforms near him. "There!" He figured out the concept, now all he needed was a couple hours of meditation and practice and after that practice the radius was much bigger, he could detect even much smaller lifeforms. Although he was unsure of the accuracy of the technique.

"This will have to do for now." Raditz thought. He camped for the night, then headed out the next morning. When he awoke, he noticed multiple lurking presences. "Hmm It seems I have visitors."

Raditz closed his eyes, getting a full view of their surroundings. When one charged after him, attempting to hit from behind, Raditz slammed his foot back, hitting the attacker's jaw. The attacker went flying before he could be seen.

Two others came after, cloaked in dark clothing, one coming from the right, the other coming from the left. Raditz decided to use this opportunity to hone the sensing technique, he elbowed the one coming from the left in his chest, and slammed his fist against the one coming from the right's face.

Raditz opened his eyes, and followed the ki signature from the first one he attacked, who was making his recovery at the same time, and blasted him into oblivion. He quickly went to find the other two, finding the one that attacked him from the right first.

He hurled his fist at the right attacker, and the right attacker made a quick block. Raditz threw several more fists at him, which he blocked scarcely. Raditz thrusted his knee and the attacker barely blocked, then Raditz threw another fist against his face.

A spat of blood shot out of the attacker's face. Raditz pulled his hand back, surrounding energy around his arm and hand, then shoved his hand forward, which sent the attacker flying. The blast had also shredded the attacker's clothes revealing his dark green scaly skin.

The left attacker returned, hitting Raditz from the back of his head. Raditz went plummeting to the ground, catching himself at the last moment. "Damn it, I should've been paying attention. Perhaps I need more practice with this technique."

The left attacker came swiftly down, aiming his foot at Raditz, but Raditz darted south and out of the way.

The left attacker's foot collided into the ground, causing the ground to slightly quake and break apart. He charged after Raditz, hurling a fist. Raditz blocked with his two arms, causing a mini shockwave to generate.

Before the left attacker could hurl another fist, Raditz quickly countered and grabbed his face harshly, then headed for the ground keeping the left attacker in his grip. Raditz dropped flying to the ground, and slammed him harshly in the ground.

The ground broke apart, generating a crater. Raditz released his grip, flew up higher, and unleashed a massive energy sphere that violently exploded on contact with the left attacker. The explosion caused massive winds to roar and pass by Raditz and the ground to shake for miles.

"There. That should do it." Raditz said to himself. For the next few days, he continued on making quick due with the rest of the planet, until one particular city had caused some difficult issues. "So this is the Capital huh?"

Raditz surveyed the City, didn't look anything special, it looked ordinary in fact, at least in comparison to the last few planets. He tried using the sensing technique of his, but still could only get surface level energies.

Raditz placed his scouter back on in hopes of it working, after a few tries, it finally went through and worked. "Let's see the highest power level is fifteen hundred, second highest is thirteen hundred." Raditz sighed to himself. "Just my luck. Perhaps I can swindle them into fighting one on one."

This city was as technologically advanced as many other cities in the planet, and the other two planets before, though of course this was on the border of two of the most advanced solar systems in the Northern Galaxy.

The architecture within the planets didn't seem too different, only minor differences that only trained eyes could see, as far as anything else went it seemed the same. The real difference was the powers of each individual.

"Seems about everyone ranks an average of six hundred here." Raditz said. "Exactly as the mission has been detailed. If I kill them all now, I can kill them with no issues, no mercy, no chances."

Raditz floated up, lifted a finger, and generated a purple energy sphere, he floated until the city looked like it could be squashed between his fingers. Raditz released the tiny energy orb from his grip, it floated slowly down like a snowflake, hidden from sight.

When it had made contact with the ground, a fierce eruption emerged from the thing, it grew instantly bigger than the city, and further out, eradicating almost every civilian. However, two did survive, the same two powers from earlier.

Cloaked with two grey cloaks, the fighter released their energy shields that protected them, and looked around the space where the city once was with much fury glimmering in their eyes.

"Who are you and what authority do you think you have to kill our people like that!" One of them said, clenching his fist. He had a dark blue skin tone with rough looking skin, his cloak was a more greyish color.

Raditz smirked as he lowered himself to the ground. "You see, you and two other planets having been causing issues with the Mazon and Baye solar system deals." He said. "At the request of Lord Frieza, I have been tasked to purge all three planets, and bring whatever value I can out of it."

The other one took a step forward. "W-What!?" He growled angrily, clenching his fist. His cloak was black, and his skin was more of a smooth dark orange tone. "How can Lord Frieza do that?! We had a deal!"

Raditz gave a confused look but then shrugged. "I don't know what you're going on about but I have a job to do, so we're either doing this the easy way or the hard way." He said. "And trust me, the hard way is not something you wanna go through."

The dark blue skinned one took action first, leaping off his feet and hurling his fist at Raditz. At the same time, Raditz dashed back, blocking the fist that collided against him with his right arm. Raditz countered, sending a left blow into his opponent's chest.

"Jav!" The orange one shouted. He darted forward, slamming his fist into Raditz's gut, then threw another fist to Raditz's jaw, sending him into the sky. The orange cloaked fighter bolted above Raditz, giving a double ax handle as his flying body approached, and slammed it onto Raditz's right cheek.

Raditz plummeted directly into the ground, passing through several trees and large boulders, picking up dirt as he slid across the fissure the impact was creating. The orange fighter headed to his comrade to check up on him.

"Jav, are you okay?" He asked.

Jav nodded. "Yeup. Just dropped my guard a little." He answered, rubbing his head. "Ascri, if we coordinate our attacks, we should be able to handle this punk, got it?" Ascri nodded in response, surveying the area as he searched for Raditz's landing location.

"I'll take the lead, you follow along." Ascri said. Ascri released his aura and lifted off as he flew quickly to Raditz, who expected his return. Ascri hurled a barrage of fists which Raditz narrowly dodged each time. Raditz tried to counter by throwing a fist, but Ascri deflected his fist with his left arm, then thrusted his knee to Raditz's gut.

Raditz vanished, reappearing behind and above Ascri, slamming his foot down. Ascri rapidly whipped around, having sensed his movement ahead of time, and scarcely blocked Raditz's attack. Ascri went plummeting but stopped himself midway, and fired an energy blast.

Raditz dodged the energy blast but was hit by Jav who came around, elbowing Raditz's shoulder. Raditz released a painful grunt, trying to resist the pain. He whipped around, hurling a fist at Jav's gut, then swung his foot at Jav's jaw.

Raditz grabbed Jav's arm and went to throw him, yet Ascri rammed his two feet into Raditz's chest before he could, sending Raditz flying. Raditz crashed roughly into a mountainside, making an indentation that shaped his body into it, as well as several cracks and tiny fissures around him.

Ascri and Jav simultaneously fired a barrage of energy blasts at Raditz, which the first few had succeeded but Raditz broke free before more could reach him. Raditz quickly dove into the nearby forest, and tried to mask his energy, struggling to do so while flying.

Ascri took after him with Jav following behind, when they entered the area where they saw Raditz entered he was gone.

"Damn it, I can't sense his energy, he must be masking it." Jav said.

Ascri gazed around the area. "Barely. He's pretty bad at it, didn't you just feel him trying to do while he went in here? He must have to stay totally still to pull it off." Ascri pointed out.

"Ah…" Jav whispered, forming a smirk. "I see what you mean." He put more focus into sensing his surroundings, quickly finding Raditz. Jav gave a gesturing nod to Ascri as he masked his own energy, and Ascri gave a mutual look.

Raditz was hiding inside a cave, thinking of a plan. "If this goes on any longer, I have a feeling I won't be able to hold them off much longer. They're starting to get the upper hand." Raditz thought. He sat for a second, closing his eyes. "Wait a second…their energy is gone? Did they give up?" Raditz shook his head. "No, they must be masking it."

Raditz opened his eyes, deciding to do this the old fashioned way, putting them on a wild goose chase. "I'll lure them in here and use the cave to my advantage, I should be able to get some fatal hits in with how sharp these stalagmites are." Raditz ran his finger down the tip of it, feeling the sharpness of the rock formation. He walked deeper into the cave, gradually increasing his power as he did.

"You feel that Jav?" Ascri said, turning to Jav.

Jav nodded. "Yea, he's let some of his power out." He replied.

Ascri turned his head back. "Either it's a trap or he really isn't that good at masking at all." Ascri ran forward, with Jav following him, reaching the same cave Raditz was in. "Look at the footprints, they're all muffled up."

Jav gave a hesitant look. "Got a bad gut feeling about this he said."

Ascri lifted his hand motioning for Jav to stay. "Stay here, I'll check it out. If something goes wrong, I'll call for help." Ascri said. Jav nodded in response.

Ascri followed the footprints, deep, deep into the cave. The further he went, the rockier the terrain became, and the more cramped it was. Eventually, he could see a shadow that resembled Raditz, it was dark so it was hard to make out, but his sensing abilities could verify.

"End of the line pal." Ascri said.

Raditz gave a short chuckle. "Yeah for you." He uttered quietly. Ascri gave a confused look when the cave started rumbling, and several stalagmites fell down, shattering and building up a wall. Raditz then fired a tiny beam to the ceiling of the cave, causing dozens and dozens more stalagmites, ones above Ascri, to fall.

Ascri hopped around, dodging them as quickly as he could, then made an energy shield. "Is that the best you go-!?"

"No! This is!" Raditz shouted as slammed his fist into Ascri's jaw, sending him flying back. Before Ascri could reach the wall built by the broken stalagmites, Raditz grabbed Ascri's jaw and pushed him several yards through the ground.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the cave…

"I better go in. Something is wrong." Jav said, running swiftly. "His energy is beginning to drop!" He jumped off, and flew rapidly into the cave until he was met by the wall that was built by the stalagmites. Jav hurled a fist at it to break it, but instead of it shattering with ease, it just made a loud echo from the impact.

Jav flailed his hand. "Agh! What the hell is this made of!" He shouted. "No time!" He shook his head, gathered energy and slammed his hand through the wall. The wall shattered forth, with shards going flying.

When Jav had entered the area, he saw a horrific sight, the shards that went flying stabbed Ascri in several areas.

Jav's eyes went wide. "Ascri!" His gaze moved to Raditz as an angry expression formed on his face. "You bastard!"

Raditz gave a mockingly innocent look. "Me?! You're the idiot who made the shards of rock go flying!"

"You're the one who made Jav defenseless in the first place, you jackass!" Ascri took a leap forward, and swung his foot at Raditz, but Raditz moved several inches away, dodging the attack. Ascri's foot landed against the wall, and he pushed off of it to rebalance, narrowly avoiding the sharp ceiling above.

He rebalanced near Raditz, and threw a quick jab at Raditz's chest, then aimed a powerful punch at Raditz's cheek but Raditz deflected that hit, and threw a fist into Ascri's gut. Raditz took this stunned second to give a double ax handle to Ascri's head, sending him against the walls of the cave.

However these blows did not come without repercussions, pieces of rock were going everywhere, even Raditz was getting sharp cuts from some. Both fighters formed energy shields around themselves to protect themselves.

Ascri and Raditz collided several attacks, with each attack generating a mini shockwave, and causing the cave to rumble some more. Eventually the cave and the entire mountain began to collapse. Raditz reacted quickly shoving, Ascri aside and raced outta there.

When Ascri got up, he noticed the rock formation closing in, his eyes panned to Jav. "I'm coming, brother!" He shouted, forming a larger energy shield as he hopped over to the unconscious Jav.

Soon the mountainside became nothing but giant rubble and to finish the job, Raditz unleashed a powerful purple energy wave against it.

"Shining Friday!" Raditz shouted, placing his left hand on his right wrist. A purple sphere that generated in front of the palm of his hand, erupted into a large wave that towered the rubble, and consumed it all. Raditz waited for the dust to settle, however he could still feel the two powers emanating from Jav and Ascri.

"Damn it!" Raditz thought. "That exerted a lot of my energy but they're still alive! I might have to transform!" Raditz looked to the sky, it was still too bright out, not quite there for a full moon. "That may not even be possible, unless I can manage enough time for an artificial moon."

When the dust settled, Ascri released his shield, and both him and Jav stood up. Jav clearly looking like he's seen better days. Ascri generated a bright yellow chain with a grip at the end with his ki, and swung it at Raditz who tried to block it.

The chain gripped Raditz's arm and Raditz tried to shake it off. "What the hell is this thing! Get it off!" Raditz unleashed a burst of violent energy around him but to no avail. Another chain gripped his other arm, created by Jav, now he tried to shake off two chains.

Jav and Ascri moved their arms out then shoved it down, sending Raditz into the ground in front of them. Raditz hit the ground hard, a slight crack could be heard echoing from his left arm. As Raditz stood up, giving a groan of pain, two more chains were generated, one for each leg.

Jav and Ascri kept a tight grip on their chains, and moved in opposing directions, causing Raditz's arms and legs to be forcefully stretched out, as well as Raditz to grunt painfully. Both fighters caused their chains to be attached to a tree which they enhanced with their ki then locked it in place.

Jav and Ascri moved back in front of Raditz, firing a barrage of small ki beams at Raditz, each one hurting more than that last.

"Graagh! S-Stop it! Damn it!" Raditz yelled. The two fighters ignored Raditz, and continued to fire blasts. Raditz's armor started to crack and break, til it shattered, his jumpsuit becoming more torn with each blast. The shoulder pads chipped off, and without the armor protecting him, the blasts caused more and more severe pain.

After a moment, the two stopped, Raditz was panting heavily. Jav floated up to Raditz first. "I wonder…how many have you killed." He said. Raditz gave a confused look. "How many of our people."

Raditz smirked, giving a short chuckle, which was cut short by Jav slamming his fist into Raditz's cheek. "Answer me!"

Raditz spat blood, readjusting his gaze back to Jav, reforming his smirk. "You're the last."

Jav's eyes went wide. "What?!"

"You heard me. You two are the last, of all three planets I've wiped and murdered." Raditz grinned.

Jav's face looked wrathful, he was enraged but he remained calm and collective, somewhat. "I'm going to make your death a slow one!" Jav gathered energy into his hand, creating a nine-lash whip. He backed away from Raditz and swung the whip at Raditz's chest.

Raditz released an agonized scream, several gashes formed on his chest. "I need to transform! W-Where is that moon!" He thought. He looked into the sky once more, but it was still not quite there. "Damn it!"

Jav moved out of the way, motioning for Ascri to take a turn, Ascri formed another chain and whipped it bluntly at Raditz's jaw. Raditz could feel his jaw beginning to crack, and blood rose into his mouth. Ascri de-formed the chain, then took his fist and slammed it into Raditz's gut.

Raditz coughed a small puddle of blood as well as the oxygen in his lungs. Ascri then grabbed Raditz's right arm, and slammed his elbow in between Raditz's upper and lower arm. Raditz released another agonized scream, the shockwave generated had broken Raditz's arm in several areas, as well as some severe pain to his shoulder.

"That's enough, Ascri!" Jav said. His face turned into a wicked smile. "It's my turn again."

Ascri moved back to the ground, and Jav floated back up to Raditz. Jav generated thousands if not hundreds of thousands tiny little energy needles around and behind him, that he commanded with his index finger to shoot at Raditz.

Each tiny energy blast made a tiny cut against Raditz, and when some hit the same area, it made the cut deeper. Raditz tried to resist it but he couldn't seem to get a grasp of his energy properly to create a shield.

"Just..need..to hold out…a little longer!" Raditz unleashed his aura, and strugglingly formed a shield around himself, which blocked the next several hundred thousand of ki needles. Then if not could be any better of a time, the full moon emerged, Raditz's face went wide.

With a quick and shocking transformation, nothing else left could be said other than the demise of the two fighters. When Raditz de-formed, his wounds were still visible, causing him to start to black out. He fell to the ground, almost falling unconscious.

"Got..to..call my…pod…here." Raditz said, reaching in his pocket for a remote. Raditz pressed a button on his remote, and the pod came within a short minute. Raditz tried to crawl to it by blacked out again for several minutes.

However, his desperation to get as fast as he could to safety, woke him back up, and he crawled barely into the pod. When the door closed, Raditz noticed something unsettling. There was a deep wound at the side of his leg, that was slowly oozing blood, his eyes went wide.

"How?" Raditz gasped in thought. He checked the wound, noticing tiny shards of rock, which made him flashback.

((Flashback))

"Almost there!" Raditz said to himself as he flew out of the collapsing mountainside. The whole entire thing was collapsing on him and he could see the exit, but it was moving fast, Raditz had barely made it out, landing poorly on his back.

At the time Raditz hadn't paid attention, but on his way out there was a sharp stalagmite off to where he shot out of the entrance, which must've cut him.

((Flashback End))

Raditz's head fell back as he went unconscious.

"He got pretty banged up!" Appule said. "I mean look at him, Orang!"

"Yeah yeah, just help me get him in the pod before Frieza kills us!" Orang replied. The two were carrying Raditz into the medical pod, in Frieza's mothership. Orang, who looked similar to Appule, was orange in skin tone and had red irises.

Once the two got him in, they attached the oxygen mask, then Appule pressed a button on the panel off to the side. The door closed, and the pod filled with green liquid, floating Raditz up.

"How long are you willing to bet he'll be in there?" Orang asked.

Appule raised and slumped his shoulders. "Who knows. He's a Saiyan, they're always a mystery on that sort of stuff." He answered. "But we can bet on how much stronger he'll be when he comes out."

Orang rolled his eyes, waving his hand. "Feh. It's Raditz, he's too weak. Unless someone like Dodoria pummels him he won't get out that much stronger. Besides that's assuming he survives."

Appule shrugged. "Fair Enough." Before the two could leave the area, Dodoria entered the room, immediately they straightened their postures.

"S-Sir!" They both said simultaneously.

"I heard Raditz was back." A smirk formed on Dodoria's face.

Appule nodded. "Yes, Raditz has returned but he's in extremely bad condition." He said.

"We had to pull some emergency protocols, and attach Raditz with some of the machine's robotic surgical patches." Orang added.

Dodoria raised an eyebrow. "I want exact details of his wounds."

"He had a large open wound on his right leg, several lacerations on his chest, and probably thousands of slits on him." Appule answered. "There also seemed to be a couple of fractured ribs and his right ulna and radius were completely broken."

"Any nerve damage?" Dodoria asked, eyeing Appule.

Appule nodded. "Yea mostly the average, but his pectoral nerves, radial nerve, and median nerves seemed to be burnt worse."

Dodoria looked at Raditz. "I see. How long has he been here?"

"Probably only a few minutes, Sir." Orang answered. "We don't know how long til he recovers."

Dodoria took another gaze as he examined Raditz's wounds then turned around. "Let me know when he's done recovering, I have business to attend to with him."

"Yes Sir!" Both Appule and Orang said.

Beep…Beep….BEEEEP! Appule whipped his head, pressing a button on his scouter. "W-What?! It's only been a couple of days! He shouldn't have recovered from those kinds of injuries!" Appule gasped. The pod's door bursted open, the liquid making a ruckus as Raditz shocked awake.

Steamed released and liquid dripped from Raditz, his face looking overly-alert. He gazed around the room before recollecting himself.

"R-Raditz, You're awake!" Appule said. Raditz walked past him, looking for his armor. "We didn't expect you to recover so soon, so we hadn't gotten your new armor in."

"I see…" Raditz said. He walked up to something that looked like a locker. "Do we have any older models available?"

Appule walked up to Raditz, and opened a different locker. "Try checking here, this one was just refilled." Appule moved out of the way for Raditz to look through. Raditz grabbed a pair of gloves, boots, and a jumpsuit in his size.

Raditz also grabbed a battlesuit with pointed shoulder pads, and under pads similar to that of his old ones. However the colors were different, orangish brown primary colors, with white secondary, and a black outline.

"Dodoria told us to let you know to see him after you recovered." Orang said.

Raditz slipped on his armor over his jumpsuit and then slipped his gloves on. "Let him know I'm on my way." Raditz said, putting his feet into his boots.

Orang nodded, running to a keypad which had a speaker next to. "Dodoria." Orang said, holding a button with his finger. "Raditz is coming to see you, he's fully recovered. "

"Good." Dodoria replied.

Raditz exited the room after he put on a new scouter. "Best I wear this to avoid suspicion raising, besides I don't quite have a full grasp on the technique."

"Hey, Appule." Orang said, Appule's face looked stunned. "Did you see Raditz's power when he exited the machine?"

Appule turned to Orang, nodding. "Y-Yea! You wouldn't believe it, his power level is just over two thousand now."

Orang's eyes went wide. "What?! Two thousand?!"

"About Two thousand and twenty five!" Appule replied. "His power has dramatically increased!"

Orang made an angry look. "Damn it! He's getting ahead of us!"

Raditz walked into Dodoria's quarters, standing by the door. "You wanted to see me?"

Dodoria got up from his seat and nodded. "Follow me, Raditz." He said, walking out of the door. Raditz reluctantly followed him, getting a strange vibe from Dodoria. "While you were out, we had been taking care of the Deal between Mazon and Baye systems, checking on the planets you purge. The only issue is we ran into a bit of an issue."

"Issue?" Raditz asked.

Dodoria opened the door, motioning for Raditz to go in first. Dread filled with Raditz's face, he knows what this usually meant, the smug smirk on Dodoria's face, leading him into the room. This room was the same place Dodoria took all of the soldiers he punished.

The only question was why. "Planet Dobe was supposed to have every city and town in an intact, pristine condition. Meanwhile Rosoft was supposed to be completely wiped. It appears that somehow you got the two mixed up and ruined a lot of the profit from the deal." Dodoria explained, closing the door.

He cracked his knuckles, and stretched his shoulders. "And you see, Lord Frieza is pretty steamed, so now I'm gonna have to dirty my hands with you." Dodoria shrugged. "Well sort of…"

Raditz gave an angry smirk. "You lying bastard! You messed those details up on purpose!" Raditz yelled.

"Well you can try and tell Lord Frieza himself that, but I doubt he'll believe you when he notices that your badge has a virus." Dodoria held Raditz's badge up to him, the holograms emitting a bunch of errors and oddities. "The blame will go completely on you."

Raditz growled angrily, then leaped forward trying to throw a powerful punch to Dodoria, but Dodoria's massive pink fist smashed Raditz's left cheek before he could reach it. Raditz crashed into the wall, then fell into the ground, trying to push himself up but he felt so weak after that punch, falling onto his back.

Dodoria walked up to Raditz with a huge smirk. "I also happen to have inside information about that half breed runt nephew of yours."

Raditz's eyes went wide. "H-How?!"

Dodoria looked to his side as a figure emerged from the shadows, revealing to be Duran. "Oh…I have my ways." He smirked. "And if you don't want Lord Frieza to find out, I'm gonna have to have you do some of my bidding."

Raditz pushed himself to his knees. "Never!" He snarled. Dodoria grabbed his wrist and snapped it, causing Raditz to be nearly breathless, giving short groans of pain. Raditz fell back, holding his wrist with his other hand as the pain shot through. "Y-You d-damn bastard!"

"Fine. You asked for it then." Dodoria said. He turned his head to Duran. "Leave us, make sure no one comes in until I'm done with him."

He spent the next few hours, slowly, and brutally toying around with Raditz, torturing him. Taking his time as he would take different methods, ways of giving Raditz more pain. Whether it would be simple repetitive pummeling, or causing small cuts or lacerations. Even small amounts of skinning him alive.

When Raditz would begin to fall unconscious, Dodoria would find a way to wake him up again. Dodoria didn't stop until Raditz was but a shell.

"Last chance. Agree or I'll finish you." Dodoria said.

Raditz swallowed hard. "F-Fine." He uttered weakly.

Dodoria put his hand to his ear and got closer. "Sorry, say again?" A smug grin on his face became wider.

"Fine. I-I'll do it." Raditz answered. "All those s-stupid l-little missions that you h-hate doing. The quick tasks."

Dodoria straightened himself. "Good, now that's what I wanted to hear." Dodoria walked off, and went up to the door. He turned to Duran before continuing. "Take care of him, don't let him heal in the rejuvenation chamber for an hour. Assuming he survives."

Duran nodded in response, after Dodoria left, he grabbed Raditz, taking him to the medical bay but kept the pod's power off. Where he left him for an hour, after Duran returned, he came to check Raditz's pulse.

After a moment, there was nothing, not a single pulse, but Duran still waited. "I have a hard time believing that you're dead, Raditz. Besides I don't feel like processing any paperwork, you better be damn alive." He waited, and waited, then finally the subtlest had emerged. Duran made a smirk across his face. "There we go."

Duran attached the oxygen mask to Raditz, among other attachments, then turned the machine on. The green liquid filled the machine and floated Raditz up. Duran left the room, having a random soldier on standby to watch him.

Raditz spent an entire month in the pod before awakening, when he awoke he bursted out the machine, partially breaking it, wheezing heavily as he nearly fell to the ground. When he awoke, his eyes were met with his two comrades.

"Dodoria, huh?" Vegeta asked. Raditz nodded, pushing himself up. "There's been a lot of rumors going around, attention being brought to ourselves. Our plans have been put on hold at the moment."

Raditz slipped back on some new armor, similar to the ones he'd bought after he kidnapped Gohan. "The damn bastard tricked me and put a virus into my badge, messing up my mission details. Then he found out about the runt."

Vegeta's eyes went wide. "He didn't tell Frieza did he?"

Raditz shook his head. "No, I have to do all his bidding but who knows if he'll even keep it a secret let alone the amount of time he'll keep quiet."

"That asshole probably already told, Lord Frieza!" Nappa snarled.

"Probably, but it's best we keep it on the low incase he hasn't." Vegeta said. He pressed a button on his scouter. "Your power's grown though, perhaps we won't need Kakarot anymore for I-J97."

"Yeah, getting beat up by Dodoria after a recent recovery will do that." Raditz replied. "But I doubt its enough for that planet."

Nappa pressed the button on his scouter as well, with a bit of a smirk. "Hey no, he's right! You've actually grown to nearly twenty five hundred!" Nappa looked surprised then chuckled shortly after. "I guess a Low Class warrior can get a decent boost once in a red moon!"

"It's the blue moon, Nappa." Vegeta pointed out.

Nappa shook his head. "No, that would imply it happens more often. I meant the Red Moon." Nappa pointed out. Vegeta shrugged in response.

"It is a considerable boost, It might get Frieza off our backs." Raditz stood up. "Let's do it, get it done and over with."
