Story summary - When her husband, Lucius Malfoy, invites the new Minister of Magic, Harry Potter, for dinner one night, Narcissa is beyond irritated. However, things change quickly when she meets the handsome young man in person. Suddenly realizing that he's not just a simple half-blood, Narcissa decides to seduce the man only to find out she has bitten off more than she could handle.
Narcissa Malfoy, née Black, watched with a critical gaze as a number of house-elves bustled around Malfoy Manor, preparing for tonight's festivities. Her sharp grey eyes observed their every move, her pureblood mask ensuring that no emotion was shown on her face. The elves worked tirelessly under her scrutiny, ensuring that every detail met her high standards. Like her, they also knew that the grandeur of Malfoy Manor demanded perfection, especially for an event hosting the new Minister of Magic.
As Narcissa continued her inspection, her mind drifted to the impending arrival of her guest. Tonight's dinner held particular importance for her husband, Lucius, and the entire Malfoy family, so she wanted everything to be absolutely perfect. The dining hall, the venue of tonight's entertainment, was a sight to behold as the chandeliers sparkled, and the tapestries hung just right, showcasing the wealth and prestige of the noble house of Malfoy.
Lost in her thoughts, Narcissa was startled as her husband Lucius entered the dining room and walked towards her with an air of urgency about him.
"Cissy, is everything ready, darling? Minister Potter could be here any moment now," he asked her nervously, fidgeting with his snake cane.
In reply, Narcissa gave her husband a small smile as she answered, "Everything's well in hand, dear. So, please stop worrying, okay?"
Her answer caused Lucius to let out a sigh of relief, his tense shoulders relaxing slightly with her assurance. "Excellent, just as I expected from my lovely wife. I knew I should never have doubted your abilities, dear," her husband whispered, leaning forward to gently kiss her on the cheek.
Narcissa's heart-shaped lips curled upward in a pleased smile at Lucius' compliment. However, her beautiful expression was soon replaced by a deep scowl as she remembered how her family was being forced to host a reception for a dirty half-blood. Unable to help herself, she decided to make her displeasure known to her husband.
"Lucius, are you sure this is necessary?" Narcissa complained. "Must we stoop so low as to entertain a half-blood in our home? It's beneath us."
Lucius let out a tired sigh in response. He and Narcissa had already had enough arguments on this topic in the last few days, but still, she didn't understand his position. Now, it seemed as if he would have to explain it to her again.
"I'm afraid we have to do this, Narcissa," Lucius finally said to his wife in a soothing tone, hoping she would be understanding. "Like you, I also hate the fact that we had to invite a half-blood into our home, but the truth is we can't afford to alienate the new minister right now, my dear. Not with that bastard Tristan Greengrass going after our business contracts."
Narcissa could feel irritation building inside her as Lucius repeated the same answer to her once again. She couldn't understand why he was so afraid of a challenge from a business rival. So, what if Tristan Greengrass was going after their family business? Lucius should simply crush him into dust in response, showing him what an insignificant little worm he was. Unfortunately, Narcissa sometimes forgot that her husband wasn't a cutthroat businessman like her grandfather Arctutus was. Lucius, in reality, was a weak man who liked to avoid getting his hands dirty. He preferred the comforts of his life and resisted working hard or struggling to gain more power.
Finally, Narcissa conceded that she couldn't do anything to change Lucius's mind about the new minister. Her husband just didn't have it in him to take any risks. He was simply a boring person who was just too terrified of the fact that if they made an enemy of Harry Potter he could revoke the Malfoy family's business contracts with the ministry and hand them over to Tristan Greengrass. This fear, in turn, clearly compelled him to go to great lengths to appease a mere half-blood.
In the end, Narcissa sighed, admitting to herself that there was no point in arguing anymore. Lucius wasn't going to change his mind no matter what she said. She would just have to tolerate the presence of a dirty, weak half-blood in her home for the next few hours.
"Very well, Lucius. I'll do as you wish and be a perfect host for our guest tonight," Narcissa informed her husband in a reluctant voice.
Lucius exhaled in relief at Narcissa's words, happy that she had finally dropped the argument. He leaned down and kissed his wife on the cheek, "Oh, Narcissa, thank you so much for understanding, my dear," he said to her with gratitude, "I promise after tonight's dinner we'll go somewhere on holiday for a week. Anywhere in the world you want."
Narcissa nodded back in response. "That would be lovely dear," she replied, giving Lucius a fake smile. In truth, however, she wasn't feeling very fond of her husband at the moment. She hated it every time she remembered just how boring and weak he really was. "I think I should go and get ready now, dear," Narcissa finally told Lucius as an excuse to distance herself from him.
"Yes, yes. Of course, darling," her husband agreed easily.
Without waiting for another second, Narcissa left Lucius in the dining room and began making her way to her bedroom to get ready for the minister's arrival.
Half an hour later, Narcissa found herself seated before a large, expensive vanity table in her bedroom, applying the final touches to her makeup. The lovely Lady Malfoy was adorned in a stylish black gown with a plunging V neckline which embraced her beautiful, hourglass figure and brought attention to her large breasts. Narcissa had to admit to herself she looked really good tonight as she admired her reflection in the large mirror, putting on her red lipstick. Her gaze, in particular, lingered on the amethyst diamond necklace around her neck, which accentuated her own unique purple eyes.
After putting down her lipstick on the table, Narcissa stood up. She took one final look in the mirror, enjoying the way her long, blonde hair cascaded down her back in gentle waves before deciding to head downstairs. By now, all the preparations for the dinner were complete which meant that Narcissa found Lucius in the entrance hall waiting for the minister's arrival. As she came to stand beside her husband, the fireplace in front of them flared green and a tall, powerful figure stepped out of the flames.
The first thing Narcissa noticed about the new minister was that Harry Potter looked even more handsome in person than he did on the front pages of the newspapers. Tall, dark, and handsome were the words that went through her head as she gazed at the new Minister of Magic.
However, the second, more important observation she made about Minister Potter was the thing that really blew her mind.
Narcissa felt her entire body tremble for a second as she registered the new, powerful magical presence in the entrance hall of her home. Throughout her entire life, she had never sensed a magical aura as potent as this. Not even Narcissa's old Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore—said to be the most powerful wizard in the world by everyone—could match the heavy aura she was sensing right now. It was as if a powerful, angry storm was crashing down on top of her. Narcissa's mouth dropped open in shock as she realized that the powerful magical aura emanated from the wizard in front of her.
While Narcissa stood there in shock due to this unexpected development, her husband Lucius stepped forward to greet their guest. "Minister Potter, welcome to our home," he said politely.
Minister Potter acknowledged Lucius with a nod and a warm smile. "Thank you for inviting me tonight for dinner, Lord Malfoy. It's truly a pleasure to be here," he responded, his green eyes briefly meeting Narcissa's before returning to Lucius. "I hope it's not too much trouble."
Lucius shook his head in response. "Not at all, Minister. We are honoured to have you as our guest," he assured before turning to Narcissa. "This is my lovely wife, Lady Narcissa Malfoy."
At that moment, Narcissa finally managed to snap out of her daze and extend her right hand towards the minister. "Minister Potter," she inclined her head.
"My lady, it's such a pleasure to meet you," Minister Potter said in a low voice as he gently took her hand and kissed the back of it. The moment his lips touched her skin, Narcissa's pale cheeks tinged with a hint of pink. A part of her scolded herself for acting like a teenager in front of a stranger but she quickly silenced it. Instead, she turned her focus on far more important things. Up close, Narcissa could see just how handsome her guest was. Her eyes widened in pleasant surprise as she noticed the way Minister Potter's muscles flexed under his dark red robes when he moved, showing just how well-built he was. Not to mention his heady, musky scent that she could smell. It was so much different and better than Lucius' plain one.
Captivated by the intriguing man before her, it took Narcissa a moment to find her voice. "The pleasure's all mine, Minister," she replied after a few seconds' hesitation, meeting his bright green eyes.
As the introductions concluded, Lucius gestured for the Minister to follow him. While the two men engaged in small talk on their way inside the house, Narcissa held back for a moment. The pureblood witch fanned herself, feeling hot all of a sudden. Narcissa had to admit she was completely taken aback by Minister Potter's presence. She had expected to meet a weak, half-blood wizard tonight, but instead, she found herself face-to-face with a stunning man who appeared to be even more magically powerful than Albus Dumbledore. Narcissa shuddered as she remembered the feeling of magic dancing under Minister Potter's skin – it was so powerful and thrilling! Suddenly, Narcissa wasn't feeling bored anymore; she couldn't help but feel excited for tonight.
Finally, after a few seconds, Narcissa managed to compose herself. She took a deep breath and then followed her husband and their guest. As she expected, she found them both in the dining room, seated at a small, oval dining table, sipping on glasses of red wine.
Both men stood up promptly upon noticing her arrival. Narcissa smiled politely, waving her hand at both of them, "Gentlemen, there's no need, please," she said, taking her seat beside Lucius.
As everyone took their seats, Narcissa clapped her hands together, and suddenly, the dining table was filled with a sumptuous array of food. As delicious aromas filled the air around them, Narcissa gestured towards the feast on the table. "Everyone, please, help yourselves," she told Lucius and the minister.
"You have my compliments, Lady Malfoy. Everything here smells truly delicious," said Minister Potter after a moment as he helped himself to some pot roast.
Narcissa couldn't help but blush at his praise. "Thank you, Minister. I hope you'll enjoy it."
As the three of them dug into their meals, Lucius seated beside her, threw her a grateful smile, no doubt happy that she was keeping her promise and and not acting rude towards their guest. Narcissa's idiot of a husband had no clue that her good mood had nothing to do with him and everything to do with their guest.
Unlike a couple of hours ago, Narcissa no longer had any intention of being rude to Minister Potter. After meeting him tonight, she discovered that her opinion of him had changed completely. Where before this evening, she deemed him unworthy of such a high position due to his dirty half-blood status, now she realized he was a completely different man than she had previously thought.
As the night progressed, Narcissa could feel the Minister's emerald green eyes on her from time to time. Throughout the entire dinner, he kept sneaking glances at her while chatting with Lucius, his eyes especially lingering on her large cleavage. Narcissa couldn't help but smirk in satisfaction as she noticed this. Clearly, the handsome young man liked what he saw about her. As his eyes kept returning to her big breasts, she wondered if he had become infatuated with her beauty. Narcissa decided she would be thrilled if it had happened. It pleased her immensely to know that she was having such an effect on someone so magically powerful.
By the time desserts were served and the dinner finally came to an end, Narcissa had made up her mind. Tonight, she was going to seduce the new Minister of Magic so that she could have him wrapped around her little finger. After all, she could think of a few ways she could use a powerful man like Harry Potter for her own purposes.
Her mind made up, Narciss decided she now needed to get Lucius out of the way. She knew her husband would want to talk about his stupid business contracts with Minister Potter after dinner but that would have to wait for some other time. Right now, all Narcissa cared about was having this beautiful man for herself tonight.
So, drawing her wand from her sleeve, Narcissa aimed it at her husband beside her. "Vertigo Vexa," she whispered the spell softly under her breath. A second later a soft white jet of light impacted Lucius on the right side of his stomach. The blonde-haired man immediately doubled over in pain as he was hit with a severe case of nausea and dizziness. It was a miracle he even managed to stay seated in his chair.
Her task accomplished, Narcissa quickly tucked her wand up her sleeve. She then placed her hand on her husband's back. "Oh, what happened? Are you okay, darling?" she asked Lucius in a fake concerned voice, caressing his back gently.
Lucius clutched his head in pain as he tried to shake off the dizzy spell. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't going to be so easy. The spell Narcissa had used on him was designed to cause massive discomfort to the victim and could only be treated after a few hours' sleep.
Finally, it seemed as though Lucius couldn't endure the discomfort any longer. He looked up and locked eyes with Minister Potter. "Forgive me, Minister. It appears that I'm suddenly not feeling very well," he apologized to him in a miserable voice. "I'm afraid I have to leave now before I become sick in front of you."
Minister Potter, observing Lucius's evident distress, nodded understandingly and replied, "Of course, Lucius. Please take your time and attend to yourself."
Lucius nodded gratefully and excused himself. However, before leaving, he bent down and whispered in Narcissa's ear, "This is now in your hands, darling. In case I don't return tonight, please ensure that the Minister leaves our house having had a good time.
Narcissa could barely hide her smirk in response as she replied, "Don't worry, dear. I'll take full care of him."
Lucius breathed a sigh of relief, unaware of the double meaning hidden behind his wife's words. He briskly made his way towards the exit. As he hurried away, Narcissa could see the discomfort etched on his face. She felt pity for him for a moment before swiftly shaking it off. This was not the time for her to be distracted by worrying about Lucius. Right now, she had a real man to seduce.
