Hi Readers: And welcome to another day of chapters. Now, before we begin, I want to remind you of the changes that I have decided to make; the ones which I have mentioned last part. I have decided to not cover shifts and it's hard to write when you want to make this a Dawsey story. However, I will still be covering as much of the shifts as I can if it fits in the story. But, for now, I have other ideas as to where I want to take this story. And, hopefully, you guys will continue to enjoy it. Thanks again for reading. Now, let's get back to it.

Mon Amour, Part 2
The Kids Conversation

Casey Home - "We're really going to have to stop making fresh meals babe and start eating these leftovers." Matt said, speaking to his wife about all of the leftover meals they have in their fridge; between still having some leftovers from the last time they saw her mom, and then the ones they just got from the barbecue today, they're starting to get overrun with leftovers. Though, that isn't such a bad thing when they're tired after a long day. And honestly, that's precisely what the two of them are; at least, he is. And that's due to the fact that he ended up playing with the Darden boys WAY too much at the barbecue. Hell, he was basically playing with them as if they were his kids, rather than Andy's. Though, he was sure that both Heather and Andy were okay with that, as it meant that they got tired out, which is something they're always guaranteed to be when they see their uncle Matt. "I swear, the Darden boys really had a bunch of fun today at the barbecue." Still not hearing his wife's voice after he said that, Matt finally stood up from the freezer.

And as he looked around their home, he could see why he wasn't hearing his wife's voice this afternoon: she wasn't anywhere to be seen here in the house. Hell, he didn't even know where she was at the moment. All Matt knew was that he was going to need to find her, which is something he most certainly was going to do right now since he wants to talk to her; he always wants to talk to her when she feels this way. And luckily, they have plenty of time to do so because of how early it is in the day. After all, the barbecue was more of a lunch thing, which means that they got home mid-afternoon, rather than after supper. And honestly, he's sure that's a good thing based on what he just thought about moments earlier: how tired the Darden boys are after the barbecue. But, right now, those are the last two people in the world he was thinking about; especially when he clearly needs to think about someone else instead: his wife, Gabriela. Well, that is…when he finally finds her. And right now, that's precisely what he went ahead and started to do.

Luckily for him, it didn't take him long to find the woman he loves as she was currently standing on the back porch of their home: the porch where they always have nice, long conversations with each other when they have things on their minds. And honestly, that's the only way he can describe how his wife is feeling at the moment: a woman who has a lot on her mind. So, he decided that it was time for him to help her out with that and help her express some of the things that were on her mind at the moment by joining her on the patio outback. And let's just say that Gabby really appreciated that, as it meant that she was going to be able to take it easy and just relax with each other like she clearly needs to do right now. "Hey." Turning her head to look up at her husband when she finally heard him, Gabby smiled. "Hey." Matt smiled as he heard her speak to her as well, as he loves her more than anything. "I see you've been thinking out here, as you didn't hear me when I spoke to you in there." Gabby sighed as she looked at the man of her dreams.

After all, she most certainly was thinking. Thinking of the conversation that the two of them already said they were going to have with each other, while they were at the barbecue. "Yeah, sorry about that." Matt shook his head as he looked at his wife, only to walk up to her and smile as he got close to her at the railing. After which, he placed his hands next to her on the railing and just brought her body against his; just like she always wants him to when they're holding each other close. And let's just say that Gabby loved the feeling of her husband's strong arms around her as they both held each other close here on the back porch of their home, just like he loved the feeling of her wrapping her arms around his back as they held each other close as well. "It's okay Gabby. I know that you still have a lot on your mind." Gabby agreed with her husband, as she most certainly does. And lucky, she has him to help her out with all of it. "Thanks for being here to help me deal with it." Placing his hands on her butt, Matt smiled as he'll always be here for her.

Something he made sure to tell her as he leaned in and kissed his gorgeous wife softly. "Forever. I'm your husband, which means that you're guaranteed to have me back you up whenever you need someone to back you up." Gabby agreed with Matt, smiling at the gorgeous man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I swear, I truly am not worthy of you. You're just amazing and I am so glad that the two of us are here with each other right now." Matt agreed with his wife, as he feels the same way. He's happy that the two of them are here, alone in their home, as they hold each other close and just take it nice and easy with each other. "We both know that this is exactly where we need to be anyways. We need to take it easy, relax, and just concentrate on each other." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that. "Might that include when we get to hold each other close in bed?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him that question, only to place his hands on the sides of her face and kiss her softly. "Let me guess, that's where you want to be?"

Taking a breath, Gabby looked down as she felt like Matt didn't like the idea, when the opposite was true: he loves the idea of them being in bed, if it means that she's relaxing and breathing. "Hey, look at me baby." Looking up at her husband, Gabby agreed with Matt as she did just that. "Gabby, I love you more than anything in the entire world. And what I want for you is to take it easy and relax. We both know that's what you need right now. You need to relax, take it easy and just talk to me. I know that you have a lot on your mind, and the last thing I want is for you to feel like you can't talk to me." Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled. "I hope you know that's never going to be the truth. I know that I can talk to you. And I know that I'll always be able to talk to you since you're my husband." Matt smirked as he agreed with Gabby, glad that they already got that out of the way. "I just have a lot on my mind." Matt agreed with his wife once more, having already guessed that was the case. "Does it have anything to do with last week?"

Gabby looked down, as she hates to think that she was living in the past. "I'm just worried about what's going to happen, even to this day." Matt agreed with Gabby, well aware that was the case as he moved his hand to the side of her face. After which, he leaned in and kissed her softly. "Just remember that I love you and that I'm here for you, whatever you need. And that most certainly includes if you need to talk to me. If you need to go upstairs and talk to me, then we'll go upstairs and do just that…right here, right now." Gabby smirked as Matt told her that, as she absolutely loves the sound of them going upstairs so that they can hold each other close and just take it easy. She needs to relax after all, and just take it easy as she concentrates on what she can control. "Yeah, I'd like that if we're being honest. I just have so much on my mind and…" Tugging his wife's body against his, Matt leaned in and kissed his wife softly, interrupting her in the process. "I love you." Smirking, Matt agreed with Gabby as he wrapped his arms around her tight.

Meanwhile, Gabby wrapped her arms around his back as she looked up at him. "You want to have sex, don't you?" Matt laughed as he bent down and kissed the woman of his dreams. "I think that's the question I should be asking you, considering you're the one with a lot of stuff on your mind." Gabby agreed with her husband once more and just smiled as she laid her head down on his chest. Meanwhile, Matt decided that it was time to pick up his gorgeous wife to take her up to bed. And let's just say that's precisely what Gabby wanted, as what he did was HOT. So, damn, sexy, and precisely what she wants. And even better, she didn't even need to ask Matt to do it since he already knew it was what she wanted him to do. "So sexy." Matt agreed with Gabby as he brought her close to him and smiled as he wrapped her legs around his waist as they both held each other close. After all, what's better than the two of them holding each other close. "You want to try for a baby when we're upstairs?" Matt smirked. "We'll see." Gabby agreed and smiled.

After all, she already knew that the answer was yes. However, she understood her husband's need to tease her. She got that he needed to just take it easy and relax at times, especially when he's tired either before or after shifts. However, she also knows that he can never say no to a chance for them to get all hot and sexy with each other when it means that they may be able to try and get pregnant with a kid. But, for now, they're just going to see what happens as soon as they're upstairs in bed.

They both already knew how they wanted to hold each other in bed: with the two of them just wearing their undergarments, as they cuddled up to each other and just relaxed. So, Matt didn't even hesitate in doing what he already knew he had to do to make his wife happy: he needed to get undressed, which is precisely what he did. He stripped down to his boxers and put on some fresh deodorant for the woman he loves since he did run a bit while they were at the barbecue. And let's just say that Gabby LOVED what her husband was wearing for her as she came out of the bathroom in her lingerie. So, she whistled as a way to tell him that. "Damn, so sexy." Turning his head to look at his wife, Matt smirked as he could say the same thing about his gorgeous wife (who looked so damn sexy in the lingerie she was wearing for him). "I can say the same thing about you baby." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case as she made her way over to the man she loves. The man she wants to be with more than anything in the entire world.

However, right now, she just wants to hold her man close to her and not get too excited. "No sexy yet, not ready for that." Matt agreed with Gabby as he made his way over to her and smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. After which, he tugged her body against his chest and smirked as he bent down and kissed the woman he loves softly. "Damn, I am not worthy of all this sexiness." Gabby smiled as she agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case as she felt him pick her up in his arms and wrap her legs around his waist. "God, now that's hot too." Gabby said, as she placed her hands on Matt's face and just smiled as she started to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world, her husband Matthew Casey. "God, I hope you know that you're the man of my dreams." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that he's the man of her dreams. "Oh, I have no doubt that I'm the man of your dreams, when you're the woman of my dreams." He said, as he carried Gabby to their bed.

After which, he proceeded to open their covers and smirked as he laid the woman he loves down on their mattress. Hovering on top of her, he placed his hands next to her on their mattress, while Gabby placed her hands on his face and kept her legs wrapped around his waist. "God, I am so turned on right now." Placing his hand on Gabby's leg, Matt agreed as he was turned on too; so, he leaned in and kissed the woman of his dreams nice and slowly. "I'm turned on too for and entirely different reason." Bending down, Matt smirked as he attacked her neck and started to suck on it as a way to please his gorgeous wife. And let's just say that was perfect and precisely what Gabby wanted her loving husband to do. "So, damn, sexy." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that she thought that was sexy. "Oh, I had a feeling that you were going to like that." Gabby agreed with her husband, smirking as she leaned back and kissed the man she loves once more. "I love you, I love our life, and I don't want to have anybody else in my arms." Matt agreed.

After all, he feels the same way. There's only one person he ever wants to hold in his arms: his wife, Gabriela. "I want to hold you in my arms in our bed, if that's ok. And that means that I need you to get in, so that I can hold you in my arms and just take it easy with you." Gabby agreed with Matt as she let him go, only to roll over and move to get in bed ahead of her dreamy husband. After which, she laid down in bed and just smirked as she looked at him, while hoping that he would join her, which is precisely what Matt did. He joined her in bed right away so that he could get close to her and hold her in his arms for the rest of the day. "This is all I want to do for the rest of the day." Gabby agreed with her husband, as that's what she wants to do as well. She wants to hold him close to her, as they take it easy and just relax with each other. "Good, that sounds great." Tugging the covers up on top of them, Matt smirked at his wife.

After which, he brought her body against his chest in order to keep her where she belongs: in his arms, right against his muscular chest. "And I have to say, you are very sexy as you wear this baby." Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled as he told her that. "And I can say the same thing about you. Now, listen. We both know that we got in here to have a certain conversation with each other." Matt agreed with Gabby as he took a breath. After all, the last thing he wanted to do was rush things with her. "I don't want to rush things. If you aren't ready to…" Leaning up, Gabby smirked as she started to take things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. "Matt, we both know that I'm more than ready to talk about this. Please, do not make me wait longer than I have to." Matt smiled as Gabby said that, prior to leaning in and kissing her once more. "Can I get some more kisses from you first?" Gabby agreed.

After all, that's something she wants as well: to share some sweet kisses with the man of her dreams. "God, you are so damn sexy, and I am so glad that this is what we're doing with each other right now." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife, as he felt the same way. He loves that they're in bed with each other, holding each other close as they took it easy with each other; though, they'll also be talking. "I just want to make sure that we're both in agreement on something though. We both know that we're going to talk about something." Sighing, Gabby agreed with Matt as she knew that was the truth. They were going to talk, so they may as well get started. "We may as well get started then, as that's precisely what I want to do. I want to talk about this." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife, smiling as he leaned in and kissed her once more as a way to get her to relax. "So, here's the thing. We both know that there's going to be pressure from our family to have kids." Gabby agreed with Matt, as that most certainly is the truth.

It's always something that happens, after all. The moment a couple gets married, it seems like the question that always comes up is when they're going to have kids. "Isn't it weird that it always happens? That the moment a couple gets married, people start wondering when they're going to have kids?" Matt snickered as Gabby said that, as that most certainly is what always happens; at least, with them. "We know that they mean well though. They just want to know what's going on with us to make sure that we're in a good place." Gabby agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. "Well, they could do it a bit more subtlety." Matt agreed with Gabby as he placed his hand on her side and stroked it with his thumb. "Still, they also need to let us have the conversation first. I know what I said, how I wanted to wait until after I finished testifying. And that's done now." Gabby agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. He was done testifying, which means that they aren't as busy as they were before.

They have more free time, and they just have time to be with each other as they try for a family. They just both want to make sure that it's where they think they want to be right now. "Are you ready for that though, Matt? Are you ready to start trying for a family now?" Biting his lip, Matt nodded as he does think he's ready. "Listen, I know that's a huge 180 from a month ago. However, I'm done testifying now, which means that I have more time now." Gabby smiled as she heard Matt tell her that, as that's precisely what she wanted to hear. That he was ready to start trying for a baby, as it's something she's wanted with him for a while. "However, we just need to make sure that we're on the same page first." Gabby was confused as she heard her husband tell her that, as she didn't understand what he was trying to tell her. "Ok. I have no idea what you're trying to tell me?" Matt sighed as Gabby asked him that question, before telling her precisely what he meant. "I want to make sure that you know I do have other obligations."

Gabby was confused. "Sorry, what other obligations do you have?"

"Sorry, what other obligations do you have?"

Gabby asked her husband, confused as to what other obligations he may have. Does he mean to her? To the firehouse? She has no idea whatsoever what he's talking about. Though, that doesn't mean that she's not going to get answers as to what he means right now; after all, the last thing Matt wants to have is confusion in his marriage. And as he looked at Gabby, he could see a confused look all over her face. "Ok. I get you're probably so confused and maybe even a bit mad as I said that." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, as she most certainly is confused. And maybe, now that she thinks of it, a bit mad. Though, she doesn't want to go there yet. She doesn't want to be mad at her husband if he has a good explanation, which is why she's not exploding right now, as much as she wants to. "Listen, I am trying to just take it easy and not explode in anger right now. After all, you've got me lost." Matt agreed as he got closer to Gabby and wrapped his arm around her back to tug her against his chest, something Gabby loved.

Especially when he leaned in and kissed her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed wither husband, as she loves him too. She loves him more than anything in the entire world, which is why she wants to give him a chance to explain just what he's trying to tell her. "Ok. I want you to really explain to me what you're trying to say Matt. I mean it when I say that I want to understand, but you need to talk to me." Matt sighed. "It's Mills. Gabby, he's my candidate. And that means that I do need to make sure that I teach him what he needs to know so that he can be a good firefighter." Gabby agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. "Yeah, I know that." Matt smiled as he heard Gabby say that, happy to hear her understand what he's trying to say. "However, I want to make sure that we're on the same page about something else." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, smiling at her husband. "And what might that be?" Leaning in to kiss his wife again, Matt smirked. "Just because I have obligations to Mills, doesn't mean you don't come first."

Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled as he told her that. "Gabby, you're my wife and the love of my life. Nothing will lever change that as I love you more than anything. If you need me, then I will be there for you without a doubt." Gabby smiled, well aware that was the case. I mean, how could her loving husband no be there for her when she needs him the most? She knows her husband loves her, which is precisely why she already knew that in the bottom of her heart. "Matt, of course I already know that. I know that because it's been that way since we got married. You've always put me first." Matt smirked. "Even over Christmas that one year. The one where I wanted to go see my mom, but you wanted to go on a nice honeymoon." Gabby smirked, as that was a really nice honeymoon. "You have to admit, that was a really nice honeymoon that we went on." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife, smirking as that most certainly is the truth. They went on such a great honeymoon, which just melted away all of the stress he had.

In fact, it was right before he became a Captain. "Honestly, I think we took our honeymoon at just the right time. We did it right at the end of my time as a Lieutenant, right before I became a Captain. That meant that things were still calm, and I wasn't in charge of that much." Gabby agreed with Matt. "I hope you know it meant the world to me that you pushed back your promotion just so that we could go on our honeymoon." Grabbing his wife's hand, Matt agreed with her prior to tugging her gorgeous body against his chest. After which, he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "Gabby, I love you, and you mean more to me than any promotion. I mean that. Yes, being a Captain was a dream of mine; and yes, it's rare to be a Captain this young." Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled. "However, you're the love of my life and that's what really matters. How much I love you and want to be with you for the rest of my life. A ceremony is nothing compared to us." Gabby smiled as she went to hug him.

After all, she's an extremely lucky woman to have such a great husband. He's so loving and caring, which is just one of the major reasons why she loves him so much. There's no other man she could ever want to be with, due to the fact that he's so great. "I love you Matt, and I hope you know that." Matt agreed with his wife, smiling as he loves her too more than anything in the entire world. "I love you too, and I will always put us and our marriage first. I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled, as that's something that she really loves the sound of: him putting them and their marriage first, something they both plan on doing forever.

NOTE TO READERS: I've decided that this will be the end of this episode. The truth is, I was struggling with writing this episode in the first place and I tried to write a third part to the episode, but I ended up giving up since I had no idea what to write. Though, the part that I did write was added to this second part of the episode. Thanks again for reading and I hope you understand that I can only do my best to re-write the series. Thanks again for reading and onto the next episode.
