"Tyrantrum!" Tyrantrum appears after Bonnie comes out from it's pokeball.
"That's Awesome! Is that Tyrantrum the one that we met in Fossil Rescarch Lab before?" Serena said.
"Yes!" Bonnie's said happily "The scientist let me to caught it." "Becoming trainer is the best thing I ever have in my life! I can see the future is so bright!"
Ash, Serena and Clemont beamed as Bonnie's eyes are sparkling with the excitement of her trainer journey.
"So, which starter had you choose from Professor Sycamore?" Ash said out of curiosity
"No, I didn't choose any starter." Bonnie said
Serena was genuinely surprised by Bonnie's decision "But I heard that certain kalos starter might gives you powerful bond phenomenon, are you sure you're fine without it?"
"Ehhh...at first I wanted those gimmick..." Bonnie looked a little conflicted, but quickly back to her usual cheerful demeanor "But Squishy is more than enough for me!"
"But we only get to collect enough Zygrade cell to use up to 20%..." Clemont said "And Squishy will get wiped if the opponent use Fairy Mega or ice type"
"But worry not! I can she her future is pretty bright!" Ash said
Bonnie's inner joy and the excitement of receiving the freedom of choice had entered inside Ash, Serena and Clemont's heart: Ash had remind his good old days when he's just begin his journey with his Pikachu; Serena can felt her maternal instincts tugging at her emotions, she's was never imagined that her "little sister" not only had grown up, but she's grown up very fast, as if the "Age of 10 requirement " rules for becoming trainer had severely hindered that little girl's develop; As Bonnie's actual older brother, Clemont wish his little sister would become more mature just like his age. They exchanged pleasantries giggled to each other. It looks so warmth like a family.
And so their Pokemon.
"Pikapika!" (I missed you guys so much, we've all grown up!)
"Sylveon!" (It feels like a dream...!) Sylveon shed a few happy tears
"Chesnaught!" (Things surely changed a lot those days...!)
"Dede!" (Yay! XY family reassemble in Kanto!)
"So how's your first few days of your Pokemon Journey?" Serena said
"Welp, my Pokemon Journey had just begin!" Bonnie thrust both her arms into the air. "I can finally breath the fresh air instead of being cooped up in the Lumiose City! I'm gonna see the world, going on all kinds of adventures, and take on their leaders!"
"So you're collecting Gym badges?" Ash said
"Yes!" Bonnie replied to Ash as she showed a box that was almost filled with many of badges.
"That's fast?!" Serena was surprised at Bonnie's achievement.
"Wait, you still not have Cascade Badge , Marsh Badge and Boulder Badge yet..." Ash said
"I feels bad for those Gym Leader...hehe..." Gary Oak briefly shows a bit of concern in his face about what those Gym Leader feels like while against a legendary Pokemon.
"I know right...hehe..." Clemont feels a bit nervous when he learned that someday he eventually had to face his own sister so that he can give his gym badge to her, he can only pray for his little sister showing some mercy to him while using Squishy.
"The next stop would be- Cerulean Gym!" Bonnie thrust both her arms into the air.
Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie took their pokemon (except Sylveon and Dedenne) back to the Pokeball as they begin their trip to Cerulean Gym, while Pikachu jumped to Ash's shoulder.
"Lucario, it's time to go!" Ash said to his Lucario, who was currently fighting against Charizard, Sceptile, Meganium, Infernape, Gary's Blastoise and Regidrago. "Bye Gary!"
"Lucar..." (But I want to fight more...) Lucario followed Ash not quite willingly, as Lucario was way too addicted at battling.
"Cya Ashy-boy!" Gary said "(in thoughts) man I never seen any pokemon who was so addicted at battle like Ashy-boy's Lucario..."
"Charizard!" (Ash, your girlfriend's pokepuff is so delicious! Can you tell her to make more next time?)
"Meganium!" (Ash... can I be with you...once again? ) Meganium begin to cry, as Ash was about to leave again.
"Meganium..." Ash was a little bit puzzled "But I can just come back to visit you next time-"
"But Ash, will that be a little be harsh for her...?" Serena said "She really miss you a lot..."
"Sure, why not?" Ash agrees, as he throws the pokeball to Meganium, returning her as part of his team.
Just after Ash and his friends leaves the Professor Oak's Lab, a white, avian pokemon was flying high in the sky at the top of the Professor Oak's Lab
"Togekiss...!"
Inside Cerulean Gym...
"Why I have to always clean up my sister's mess all days?" That was the sound that was heard 100th times at the Cerulean City Gym, and it always came from the mouth of Misty Waterflower. Ever since three "sensational" sister (Daisy, Violet, and Lily) left the Gym many years, Misty had to do the four people's work alone for 24/7 non stop. The increasing work pressure had slowly overwhelms her and makes the Gym operation feels like the drudgery.
The huge work pressure had slowly affect her performance of Gym operation and maintrance, her gradually losing moviation had found herself unable to enjoy battling and attempts to end her battle as quickly as possible by using Mega Gyarados directly. Conversely this also scares a lot of challanger out and makes her own Gym become infamous
Then as the months continued , Misty became more and more evident found that she had no motivation left to operate Gym and decided to go Alto Mare to relax for a moment. Unfortunately the status quo is god, she was soon being forced by her sisters to continue her Gym operation for 24/7 again in order to take another yearlong travel around the world.
And when Misty attempted to make phone calls to sensational sisters once again to complain at their irresponsible decision, only giving her the gut punch from nowhere...
"Daisy, Violet, Lily... I can't operate the Cerulean Gym alone- (brief silence)... You... you're joking right?! (brief silence) No...why would you... I thought we're-(being hanged up)"
Her pokedex phone dropped to the floor, her head went slightly lower and her eyes turns dull. She hopelessly watching at her own bicycle, reminding her certain jet-black haired boy.
Misty had made peace with her feelings for Ash many times over, and her increasing stress about Gym operation had only worsen that feelings day by day. Eventually, this phone call would be the final straw for Misty, now the only thing that Misty to rely on is...
"Ash...help me..."
"Psy-yi-yi?" (Quaxly, what does Misty doing? )
"Quaxly!" (Misty is so stressed because she have too much stress from Gym Operation while her sister are absent. You've been together way longer than mine, AND YOU SAY YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO HER?!) Quaxly feels frustrated about Psyduck's innocently insensitive.
"Psy-yi-yi!" (I'm sorry Quaxly, I didn't meant for insulting! Forgive me!) Psyduck feels headache once again after he accidentally makes Quaxly frustrated
"Azu zu" (Look, look!) Azurill was pointing her tail towards the gym door.
"What is it Azurill?" Misty said
"Azu zu zurill." (I think someone's there.)
"So this is the Cerulean Gym?" "Dede!" Bonnie and Dedenne's eyes sparks with excitement
"Even the surrounding area of the harmony are in water, as if it's part of the water!" Clemont was impressed by the gym's design
"The Cerulean Gym looks much different from what I seen long time ago... it looks much more beautiful after refurbish!" Serena had saw Cerulean Gym when she was very young, but Cerulean Gym had underwent refurbished many times as the time comes by.
Ash can't wait to have the rematch with Misty, but he knows that he have to let Bonnie to get Cascade Badge first. "Let's go inside!"
The XY Gang entered it, Ash wanted to bring his kalos friends to visit the Swimming pool and the Aquarium first, only found out that all those Swimming pool and the Aquarium had been closed, and the lights are also much dimmer than usual.
"No way...just what happened with this Gym?" Ash said "And where does her sister went?"
After they arrived the battlefield, they only saw the sole pool that still opens, and the tomboy orange hair girl which clearly indicated she's the Gym leader here. Ash and Serena noticed Misty's face looks a little bit absent-minded.
"Oh hi Misty...?" Ash said
"Misty...are you...ok..?" Serena was a bit worried about Misty
Psyduck was surprised at Ash and Pikachu's arrival
"Psy-yi-yi!" (Pi...Pikachu...it's that...really you?!)
"Pika?" (Yes it's me! Didn't we just seen in Alto Mare few weeks ago? )
"Psy-yi...yi-yi!" (Wait did I...ah yes! I forgot that we went swimming in Alto Mare! My bad!)
Misty tongue felt tied as she stared at the , she thought she was dreaming that Ash would visit her just after she heard the bad news. "Ash...but what are you doing here? I thought you're in Alto Mare?"
"Well, I just came back to Kanto few days ago." Ash said
Misty aware that she have some feelings towards Ash, her heartbeat pick up as she went silence for a while.
"Anyways Misty, what's happening to your gym?" Ash said
"Ah...both my visitors and challengers are just keeping decline than before...and my Pool and Aquarium had been closed down..." Misty sighed
Pikachu grinned at Misty as he asked Ash's pemission to cheer Misty up "Pikapika?" (Ash, Something was wrong with Misty, can I give her some Thundershock to wake her up?)
"Don't you dare, Ash!"
Ash and Pikachu chuckled at Misty's expression and grinned innocently.
Misty noticed Bonnie is much shorter than the rest of 3, she quickly recognized that Bonnie is the one who will be the challenger. "So Bonnie, are you coming for gym battle today?"
"Yes!" Bonnie replied excitedly
Ash, Serena and Clemont were sitting at the side of the Battlefield
"It's feels so nostalgia!" Seeing Bonnie was about to start the Gym battle against Misty, Ash remind him the memories when he battled Misty in Cerulean Gym many years ago.
Serena was a little bit nervous and curious for Bonnie's Gym battle, because that's her very first time to see what Bonnie's Gym battle looks like, which is VERY different to her boyfriend's Gym battle.
On the other hand, Clemont wants to cheers up Bonnie. But in his inner deep through he feels a little bit inferiority complex as he founds that even Serena, Misty and Bonnie had outgrown him (at least in terms of confidently)
Meanwhile, there's someone walked inside the battle field.
"Oh hello Brock! I thought you're in Pokemon Centre?" Ash said
"But Brock, isn't you're very busy at healing those shadow pokemon in Pokemon centre?" Misty was surprised to see Brock's arrival as well, as she didn't imagine that Brock would ever got a free time to visit her.
"Well, there's currently enough manpower in Pokemon Centre, which allows me to have some rare free time. Of course, it won't last long"
Brock noticed the 2 new face that he never seen before
"Ash, are those 2 people your friend?" Brock asked Ash refers those "2 people" to Clemont and Bonnie.
"Yeah! They're one of my friend that I meet in Kalos"
"So, you're here for the Gym battle?" Brock said to Bonnie as she was little disturbed by brock's sudden appearance.
"Yes, and who are you?" Bonnie said
"I'm sorry if I scared you, Allow me to introduce myself properly. I'm Pokemon Doctor and researcher, Brock. I'm also the old friend with Ash"
"Hello, I'm Bonnie" Bonnie gives the mischievous look to Brock "And today I'll blow up this poor gym-"
"Bonnie, how many times I told you to behave?" Clemont scolded Bonnie for such behavior "I'm sorry Brock, my little sister is like that. Also my name is Clemont, her older brother and the lumiose city Gym Leader."
After Clemont and Bonnie introduced themselves with Brock, Misty and Bonnie was preparing to begin the battle, suddenly...
"Azu zu?" Azurill was walking to gym door
"What is it Azurill-" a white, avian pokemon rushed in through the door and pounced on Pikachu and Misty, which was out of Ash, Misty and Brock's surprises for such unexpected arrival.
"Togekiss!" (Misty, Pikachu, I missed you so much!)
(Flashback where Misty had to say goodbye to Togetic in Hoenn)
"Togetic...no... Togekiss... is that really you?" Misty said in disbelief, as she have no idea how togekiss would flies from Hoenn.
"Pika...Pika..?" (Togekiss...? Am I just...dreaming?!)
"B-But, how - I mean isnt't you're... supposed to stay in Mirage Kingdom?"
"Togekiss!" (Princess Sara had found the new king to claim my throne, so that I can back and stay with you.)
Misty and Pikachu still having a hard time believing that togekiss was actually her togetic, but seeing that Togekiss's face expression about how it really miss Misty and Pikachu, their disbelief started to fade
"Oh Togekiss!" Misty cried, a genuine smile filling her face with light. "I missed you so much!"
"Pikapika!" Pikachu exclaimed happily as he saw his old friend had finally back
"Owww this pokemon is so cute!" Bonnie said with sparkles in her eyes and want to hug it, but was stopped when she saw how touched the reunion scene, which makes her remind how she reunite with her Squishy, making her begin to tear.
"Bonnie?" Squishy said
"It remind me...something..." Bonnie said
"Togekiss..." (Misty... can I Fight alongside with you?) Togekiss was asking for Misty to let it return as part of Misty's team.
"Of course!" Misty pulled out her pokeball to Togekiss's forehead, and Togekiss went inside. Misty returned to her usual confidence, as she walked and stood straight on the battlefield with her, ready for a battle.
Misty presses a button on a remote, causing the rocky field to sink into the floor, after which it's filled with water, creating a water field, leaving only some rock formations standing above the surface, much out of Serena, Clemont and Bonnie's surprise. "Woah, the entire battlefield had become water! It's so awesome!" Bonnie was so excited to see how Misty managed to fill the battle field with water
"What...what just happened?" Serena said
"The entire battlefield had just become the water!" Clemont said "She now helds the full enviroment advantage!"
Meanwhile, in Kanto Airport:
"I can't wait to see what Lumiose City looks like!" Violet said
Lily: "Yeah! I heard that there's the new mall called palais médiéval had opened there, there must be some top tier Shampoo which can makes my hair even more smoother!" Lily said
"But what about our gym? I mean, we only get Misty to operate it..." Daisy was a little bit doubt about their Gym, as they haven't operate their gym for many years "She just phone called us today..."
"Don't worry about it! We can just leave our Gym to Misty, so that we can go to travel whatever we want!" Violet said
"Ah you're right! Why should I concern about our Gym, instead of enjoying our journey? I'm pretty sure Misty can handle the Gym alone!" Daisy quickly throws her doubt about the Gym out of window
The Sensational sister throws their Gym and Misty out of their brain and focus on planning the Kalos trip, until they saw the ominous news about their Gym on Daisy's phone:
"You're kidding me..." Daisy said in shock
"Just what Misty is doing? I thought we told her to operate the Gym alone?" Lily said
"I don't know, all we have to know is we have to get back to Gym!" Violet said
"Dede-!" Dedenne attempted to join the battle, but was stopped Bonnie
"Dedenne, you should go and find somewhere to sit" "Dede..." Dedenne jumped back to the seat where Ash, Serena and Clemont sits
Brock stood at the edge of the battlefield as the referee for the battle.
"This will be an Official Two-on-Two Gym battle between the Challenger Bonnie and the Gym Leader Misty. Each trainer is allowed to use two Pokemon and both Challenger and Gym Leader will be allowed to substitute their Pokemon."
"Two Pokemon? Hmph! I can curb stomp her with just one!" Bonnie said in over-confident tone.
Misty smirks as she grinned at that innocence and frail looking lemon hair little girl. "(In thoughts) Bonnie looks so naive, she might easily cracks down if I defeats her like usual. But if I holding my back, she might never learn..."
"It's not what Gym leader usually do. But seeing how determined you're... I'll not holding back!"
"And you'll gonna regret for looking me down" Bonnie said in the confident manner "Okay, Squishy! Let's show em' about your wrath! " Bonnie said, as her Squishy jumped right in front of her. "Squishy! 20% form!" Bonnie said as she commanded the Legendary Pokemon to change into the 20% form.
"Uhh, I don't know what to say about this..." Brock said.
"What makes you think like that?" Serena asked Brock in a confused tone.
"Well...this pokemon looks like the legandary Pokemon called Zygrade, but I never seen such form before. Misty might have Mega Gyarados, but from what I heard Legandaries Pokemon are much stronger than megas so..."
"What is this?" Misty was briefly shocked as she never seen such Pokemon before, but revert back to her confident "(in thoughts) In that case... I'm surely have to use all effort against this things!"
"The world's greatest beauty, the tomboyish mermaid! Go, my steady!" Misty calls out the Gyarados from her pokeball. She then reveals her own Key Stone hanging on her hairband, Bonding with the Gyaradosite on Gyarados's forehead.
"Keystone?!" Serena was surprised as she never imagine that even Misty have one as well
"Strongly, Valiantly, Beautifully, My sweet blue heart! Mega Evolution!" Misty's Key Stone triggers the Mega Evolution of her Gyarados, turning it into a Mega Gyarados.
"Battle begin!" Brock said, as he raised his arm, both Pokemon had begin to charge towards each other.
