Chapter 8
Garp had returned to Marine Ford. Walking towards his office he could hear two lower ranking Marines talking about a woman with raven locks who could be the daughter of the Marine Hero. "Yeah, I heard our very own Marine Hero Garp has a daughter who isn't a Marine, who lives her life as a Pirate." The man to the right tells the man to his left.
"I heard she is the head of that underground group who has been attacking our Celestial Dragon's." The man to the left told the man to his right.
"Who truly knows….well Vice-Admiral Garp." Said the man to the right.
Growing annoyed with the two fools acting like hens he storms over towards them. "What where you saying about me?" He questions the two men that slowly turn to look towards to look at the man they had been talking about. The man held no anger, his voice sickly calm for a man that is known for screaming and yelling about anything. As he doesn't know what it is like to hold a calm tone of voice.
"Vice-Admiral Garp!" Both men spun upon their heels as they yelp as one.
"So, what were you both talking about?" Garp questions them still in the sickly calm voice.
"Umm…Sir…We we're talking about you and your daughter." Said the man on the right in a trembling voice.
"What…he says….is…true…..Sir….Vice-Admiral Garp." Said the other man still frighten.
"Two do know my daughter is a Rear Admiral?" Garp questions the two fools.
"Yes, Sir Vice-Admiral Garp." They said as one as they solute as one.
"Report to the kitchen. For you will be on potato duty. As the cooks have been looking for help for a while now." Garp ordered the two morons.
"Yes, Sir Vice-Admiral Garp." The two said as one as they took off running for their dear lives. Getting away with their lives. As know that it could have been worst for them. As Garp was known for never being levelheaded. Only known for reaction with his emotions.
Sengoku's office
Sengoku looks at several reports upon his desk. On a woman known as Dragon. As well as another file with one on a young man known as Blue Gentlemen Sabo. Letting out a sigh, he looks towards his calendar. Musing to himself noticing that Garp should be returning today.
Pressing a button on his snail. "Miss. Grey could you find out if Garp as returned as it is way too quiet." Sengoku requests of her.
"Yes, Fleet Admiral Sengoku." Reply's Miss. Grey.
With Garp
Garp calmly opens the door to his office as he moves towards his desk to sit down. Noticing the paperwork resting upon his desk. Letting out a sigh. He drops down upon his chair as he picks up the files resting upon his desk.
He grows ashen when he sees the pictures paperclipped to the files. One being his daughter Monkey D. Dragon and Dracul-Monkey D. Sabo. But the files only had their first names. Never listing their last names of the two. Nor the D's within their names.
'You two need to stop your actions for a while….you need to go into hiding.' Garp thought to himself.
A knock is heard at his office door. "Come in." Garp calls out as he didn't yell or shout. Just calling out in an even tone of voice.
His office door opens with a woman with long crimson hair peeping in. "Vice-Admiral Grap. Sengoku has requested you to come to his office." Miss. Grey tells him.
"Alright. I'll be there in a moment." Garp tells her.
"Thank you." Miss. Grey tells him as she closes his door and returns back to her bosses office.
Sengoku
A knock is heard at his door. "Enter." Sengoku calls out.
"Vice-Admiral Garp is on his way." Miss. Grey tells him.
"Thank you Miss. Grey." Sengoku tells her as she steps back out of his office and closes the door.
Several minutes later a knock is heard at his door. "Come in." Calls out Sengoku who is confused who is at his door.
The door slowly opens revealing Garp with a frown upon his face. A frown that is rarely seen upon the man's face. The last time that face was seen when Gol D. Rogers was caught.
"Garp." Sengoku greets.
"What do you need Sengoku?" Garp questions not even bothering to pull out his gross crackers. (What Luffy calls them.)
"It is about time you have return. A new Worlds Most wanted person. The second after Gol D. Rogers." Sengoku tells him.
"I saw. Also saw the second file where the second in lines behind Dragon." Garp told him calmly.
"Yes, that is right." Sengoku tells him still arching a brow at the man's reaction to the news he is telling him.
"Is there something bothering you?" Sengoku questions his longtime friend.
"No, my vacation was just a little too long." Garp tells him. Just leaving it open ended.
"Very well. I would like you to being seeking information upon these two." Orders Sengoku.
With that said Garp silently stands up and leaves the man's office never speaking a word to the man. Leaving said man questioning what was happening to his old friend.
