Chapter Fourteen
Outside Warehouse…
The two captors found themselves facing a very angry Kim and the FBI team, and knew they were in for it but they had to stall.
"Stay right where you are!" Kim shouted, forcing herself to stay as calm as possible when dealing with these people.
For whatever reason, the men still thought it was a good idea to still make a run for it, maybe that they would still get away with it.
"Oh no you don't." Kim managed to say before tackling one of them while David got the other one in less than a minute.
"Now, would you be kind enough to tell me where my family is?" Kim said in a cool tone, determined not to lose control of her emotions.
"Uh… in there." One of the men, a blond, said lamely as he pointed to the door behind them, which Kim had to fight rolling her eyes as she cuffed the man and handed him over to another agent before rushing towards the building.
David kicked down the door and found a very relieved Don and Kim's very surprised parents.
"Hey, Kim, you made it just in time." Don said with a weary smile, just happy to see his wife.
Kim smiled back as she helped free the captors and looked at her parents with a determined stare.
"We are going to have a talk when we get home." Kim said firmly to her parents, who exchanged knowing looks.
"We know." Mark said, with Ellen nodding in agreement.
