In his Lair, Gabriel looked through several images of Lord Sprite on his tablet, determined to find his identity.
"Master, what are you doing?" Nooroo asked.
"Trying to figure out Lord Sprite's identity," he said. "If I'm able to locate him, I can extract a massive amount of information about the identities of Ladybug and Cat Noir and the secrets of the Spellbook."
"What makes you think that he knows anything?" Nooroo asked.
"He wouldn't have journeyed to the past without some knowledge, and I am more interested in discovering what happened to me. Did I succeed in my desires, or did I fail? The fact that he has the Butterfly Miraculous proves that it will be reclaimed one day, and I like to know when."
Nooroo looked at the images of Lord Sprite, his future holder. While it was a relief to know that his Miraculous would find itself in the right hands, it was painful to fight against him.
"But how will you know who he is?" Nooroo asked.
"Thanks to Volpina, I know that he is blind, and he is clearly British, so there's only one person who fits the bill," said Gabriel, who then showed an image of Jack on his tablet.
In Sprite's hideout, he, too, was growing concerned about Hawk Moth.
"Perhaps I shouldn't have revealed that I'm blind to everyone," he said as he looked down the city from the bell tower of Notre Dame.
"How are you going to explain that you could see past illusions," said Lady P, sitting at a monitor with the back of the chair facing Sprite.
"True, but I'm sure that Ladybug would have been able to figure it out without my intervention."
"We cannot know that for sure, and we cannot have allowed an impostor to roam around."
"Still, we should stay prepared; Hawk Moth has no doubt been curious about me since day one. He wants to know everything I know, and he'll stop at nothing to get it."
"There is a good thing that we prepared for this in advance," said Lady P. "Let us hope that he falls for it."
"And hope everyone plays their part," Sprite added.
Marinette rushed to school as quickly as she could; she got a class just minutes before the bell rang and immediately sat down next to Alya, with Nino and Adrien sitting behind them.
"Whoa, girl, you actually got to class on time today," said Alya, looking immensely impressed.
"You make it sound like I'm constantly late," Marinette groaned.
"Most of the time, you are," said Alya.
"Don't feel bad, Marinette, I'm quite like myself," Adrien smiled.
"As I," said Jack behind them. Jack was brushing his textbook, which had Braille on it. "But we're all here now, and that's what counts."
"You know, dude, I'm impressed that you can make words out of those scribbles," said Nino, looking at Jack's textbook. "I can't make heads or tails of it."
Jack smiled. "Believe me, it wasn't easy to begin with; it took a lot of time to read Braille."
Chloé scoffed. "What kind of idiots would put blobs on paper instead of words."
"That would be you, French; you're the ones who invented Braille," said Jack.
"That's ridiculous, utterly ridiculous," said Chloé dismissively.
"Actually, he's right, Chloé," said Adrien. "It was invented by a man named Louis Braille, who lost his eyesight in a childhood accident. In fact, he was a little older than us when he invented it."
Marinette beamed at him. "Wow, Adrien, you know so much."
Adrien rubbed the back of his head. "Natalie was quite further in my homeschooling."
"Too bad someone was never homeschooled, and perhaps she would learn something," said Alya.
"And missed the chance to be with my Adrikins, I think not," she said, fluttering her eyelids at Adrien. "Maybe the rest of you should just study at home and. Leave the two of us alone."
"That's quite enough, class," said Miss Bustier as she entered the classroom. "Now, shall we begin class?"
After class, everyone went to the courtyard and hung out at the stairs.
"So, Jack, how did you lose your eyesight?" Kim asked.
"Kim…" Marinette hissed.
"What? I'm just asking; he could have been born blind," said Kim.
"No, I wasn't," Jack sighed. "Let's just say, like Louis Braille, I lost my eyesight due to an accident. I can be more than ten years old when it happened."
"Sorry dude, I can't imagine not being able to see anything," said Nino.
"It wasn't exactly easy to get accustomed to," Jack admitted. "He went for my father's money. We weren't able to find a to heal my eyes. I had to go through quite a bit of therapy and to get accustomed to it."
"That's so sad," said Rose. "So, you can never see the sky again."
Jack shook his head. "They tried everything, but even with modern medicine, there is not a lot we can do with my condition."
"I'm surprised your father lets you out," said Adrien.
"It took a lot of convincing, and it wasn't because I was blind."
"If it wasn't because you were blind, then why?" Marinette asked.
Jack shifted a bit uncomfortably. "My father is not my real father; he's my adoptive father."
"Wait, you're adopted?" said Mylène, surprised.
"Yeah, I don't know who my real parents are, and I spent most of my early childhood moving from foster home to foster home," he sighed.
Rose wiped a few tears from her eyes. "This story gets sadder and sadder."
"So why did your father adopt you?" Juleka murmured.
"I'm afraid that's a bit too personal," said Jack, rubbing his head. "But when I was at home, he didn't treat me as if I was his real son."
"But you aren't his real son," said a voice.
They turned around and weren't surprised to see Chloé walking towards them with Sabrina in tow.
"What do you want, Chloé?" Marinette asked, placing her hands on her hips.
"Just pointing out that blind boy here doesn't have a real family, just pretend one," she laughed.
"Drop it, Chloé," said Alya.
"Why deny it when it's true?"
"Because it isn't true," said a new voice.
Everyone turned and saw a beautiful, short-haired, blonde-haired girl who had just entered the school. She was wearing a blue T-shirt and skirt. She wore black leggings and beautiful high-heeled shoes. Around her shoulders, she was carrying a black satchel, and she wore a pair of black sunglasses. The only piece of jewellery she wore was a silver brooch on the helm of her shirt.
"And who are you?" Chloé asked.
"I'm Jack's sister, Jill," said the new girl.
Everyone stared at Jill and then looked back at Jack and then back to Jill again.
"You have a sister?" Nino stared.
"And your name is Jack, and her name is Jill," Alya added.
"I know, like the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill," Jack groaned. "Trust me, it's just pure coincidence. What are you doing here, Jill? Shouldn't you be in London?"
Jill smiled. "I convinced our father that I should visit you here; it gives me time to take a break from my studies."
"I'm surprised that he did that; it took a lot of convincing for me to come here permanently," said Jack as he stood up.
"You know I can sweet talk our father; after all, I convinced him that you should be educated in a normal school," Jill smiled.
"Yeah, in Paris."
"You know how reclusive he is? He didn't want you commuting back and forth from school, and a boarding school was out."
"Uh, Jack, are you going to introduce us to your sister?" Marinette asked awkwardly.
"My apologies," said Jack, smiling at them. "Guys, let me introduce you to my sister Jill. Jill, let me introduce you to…"
"Oh, I think I know who they are," Jill giggled. "You describe them perfectly in your letters."
"Described us?" Marinette frowned. "But how can you describe us when he's…" She then quickly closed her mouth.
"I mean, you describe your personalities," Jill smiled. "That's how I know that you're Marinette, and I must say I like your purse. Did you make it yourself?"
Marinette just looked at her, a little surprised. "Yeah, I did."
"Well, it's beautiful. You think you can make me one?"
"Uh, sure," said Marinette, still a little stunned.
Jill then looked at Alya. "And you must be Alya; I recognise you from the Ladyblog ."
"You saw my blog?" said Alya stunned.
"I can't get enough of it," she said and turned to look at Nino. "And I'm guessing this is your boyfriend, Nino."
"Uh, hi," Nino smiled.
Jill then looked at Adrien. "And I recognise you right away, Adrien. And I have to say you're cuter in person."
"Uh, thanks," said Adrien, looking a little awkward.
Marinette then started to get a little flustered, thinking she had another arrival for Adrien's affections.
"But you not my type," Jill added.
"Then you must be more blind in your fake brother," Chloé sneered.
Jill's expression darkened when she looked at Chloé. "And you match my brother's description to a T, Chloé Bourgeois."
"Oh, did he tell you that I am absolutely perfect," she smiled.
"Actually, he said that you were an egotistical, self-centred, spoiled brat," said Jill dryly.
Chloé glared at her. "How dare you? You know my father is the mayor, right?"
Jill folded her arms. "And what you got is due to me; I'm only here visiting."
"I can have him kick your fake brother out of our hotel, which he's staying in," Chloé sneered.
"Then we'll just simply find another hotel for him to stay at; yours isn't the only one in town."
Alya looked at Jack, slightly impressed. "I have never seen anyone talk to Chloé like that."
Jack chuckled. "She's a real spitfire, isn't she."
"I'm starting to like this girl," Nino whispered to Adrien.
"No one talks to me like that and gets away with it," Chloé glared.
"And no one talks to my brother like that," Jill counted.
"He's not your brother, he's a fake!"
Jill narrowed her eyes. "One does not have to be blood-related to be family, and I owe Jack everything."
"Okay, okay, let's all calm down," said Jack, gently placing a hand on Jill's shoulder. "She's not worth the aggro; come and join the rest of us."
"Good idea," Jill nodded.
Jack then guided Jill to the others.
Chloé clenched her fist in frustration. "Oh, you're going to regret talking to me like that."
"What are you going to do, Chloé?" Sabrina asked.
"Watch and see," she said, storming off, and Sabrina quickly followed.
Meanwhile, Jack introduced Jill to the others, and they were all getting along quite well.
"I like your brooch," said Rose, pointing at her brooch. "It's so pretty."
"Thank you," Jill smiled. "It was given to me by someone very precious."
"So, how are you going to be staying?" Jack asked.
"Sick of me already?" Jill smirked.
"Just want to know how long my lovely sister will be gracing her presence with us."
"Only today. I am sorry to say I have to leave the next morning."
"Then let's spend the rest of the day by giving you the full tour of Paris," said Alya.
"I would love that," Jill smiled.
"Then let the tour begin," said Marinette as she and the girls immediately dragged Jill outside.
"You go and enjoy yourself; I'll hang around here with the guys," Jack yelled.
"Sure, I'll see you later," Jill smiled.
"You're not going with them?" said Adrien, a little surprised. "She came all this way to visit you after all."
"This is her first time in Paris, and I want her to see the sights," Jack smiled.
Meanwhile, the girls had taken Jill to the Pont des Arts bridge.
"So people really put padlocks on the bridge as a gesture of love," she said as she looked at the padlocks attached to the bridge.
"Yeah, then they toss the key into the river. It's so romantic," said Rose cheerfully.
"And pollutes said river," said Mylène added.
"But it's just so romantic," Rose argued.
"Jack's sister is a wonderful person," said Tikki, sticking her head out of Marinette's purse.
"Yeah, the two of them seemed really close," Marinette agreed.
She then noticed Jill leaning over the bridge, looking towards the Seine and joining her.
"So, I saw you and Jack a couple?" Marinette asked.
"He's my brother," Jill reminded her.
"But not by blood," Marinette pointed out.
Jill sighed. "I'm that easy to read, am I? Yeah, we're together, but we have to keep our relationship private."
"Why's that?" Marinette frowned.
"That's the curse of being rich and influential; your parents want you to get along with someone just as equally rich and inferential. Trying to convince my father to let Jack into the family was difficult enough; there again, he did save my life, so it was the least my family could do for him."
"He saved your life?" Marinette stared.
"I was about 10 when it happened. I wanted to get away from my demanding father, so I ran away. There was this van carrying these dangerous chemicals, and it lost control. I could have been seriously hurt if Jack had pushed me out of the way in time. Some of the chemicals fell at one of the containers the van was carrying and splashed all over his face."
Marinette gasped. "So that's how he lost his eyesight."
Jill closed her eyes, looking ashamed. "If it weren't for me, he would still be able to see. Jack had no family to support him, and his foster parents couldn't care less about his health. So I preached to my father to help Jack, and my mother convinced him it was the right thing to do. So we got in the best medical care we could, and when asked if there was anything else we could do for him, he merely said that he wanted a family."
"So your father adopted him," Marinette finished.
Jill gave a small smile. "You know, if it wasn't for Jack, I might have ended up like Chloé."
"I find that difficult to believe," said Marinette. "You're as far from being Chloé as anyone I've ever met."
"Well, I changed after I saw Jack risk his life for someone he didn't know. He's my hero, and he will always be my hero."
Meanwhile, back at school, Jack and the boys were starting to make their leave.
"You're going back to the hotel to meet up with Jill?" Adrien asked.
Jack nodded. "We arranged a place to meet up if we were separated. I'll at least be able to say goodbye before she leaves."
Then, just as they went outside, Chloé accidentally crashed into Jack, causing him to lose his balance and fall down the stairs.
"Oh, so sorry didn't see you there," said Chloé with false sympathy.
"You did that on purpose," said Nino.
"And what if I did?" Chloé smirked.
"You'll apologise to Jack now, Chloé," said Adrien strongly.
"If anyone should apologise, it should be his fake sister," said Chloé dismissively. "She should have been so high and mighty and being rude to me."
"Leave my sister out of this!" Jack yelled as he rose to his feet.
"Or what?" Chloé asked. "One word from me, and my father will ban your sister from ever coming to Paris."
Jack looked at Chloé furiously.
From his lair, Hawk Moth could sense Jack's anger, and it was the opportunity he had been waiting for.
"Ah, a troubled soul who desperately wants to protect his sister. And what is more, I may finally figure out Lord Sprite's identity," Hawk Moth smiled and then began to corrupt a butterfly, turning it into an akuma. "Fly my little akuma and evilize him!"
He released the akuma through the window and began to flutter towards Jack.
Jack was still furious at Chloé when the akuma entered his glasses.
Adrien was the first to see this and quickly returned to the school.
"Jack Ripper, in giving you the power to punish those who will do harm to your sister," said Hawk Moth telepathically. "However, in exchange, you must get me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses. Additionally, you need to tell me whether you are, in fact, Lord Sprite and be aware that I'll know when you're hiding something."
"I can honestly tell you that I am not Lord Sprite," said Jack firmly. "However, I will do what is necessary to protect my sister."
Hawk Moth couldn't sense any deception from Jack. "Disappointing, but I will still use this opportunity to end Ladybug and Cat Noir."
Jack suddenly began to transform, and once the ether vanished, he stood there as Jack Ripper. He looked like a Victorian gentleman in a blood-red suit and had a white mask covering his face.
"Jack, is that you, dude?" Nino asked.
"No, I am Jack Ripper now," said Jack Ripper and then suddenly, a pair of sharp knives appeared in his hands. "And I am here to punish those who ridicule my sister."
Adrien quickly found a hiding spot within the school and let Plagg out of his jacket.
"We got a rescue, Jack," he told his kwami.
Plagg sighed. "And here I was hoping we could enjoy the day."
"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien yelled.
He then began to transform into Cat Noir.
Jack Ripper then started tossing knives straight at Chloé, but luckily for her, Cat Noir arrived and knocked them aside with his staff.
"Playing with knives is dangerous, you know," he said.
"Only don't know how to use them," said Jack Ripper as another pair of knives appeared with his hands. "I don't wish to cause any more harm than I have to, so if you just hand over your Miraculous peacefully, we can avoid all this ugly fighting."
"Sorry, no can do," said Cat Noir.
"At least you can't say that I wasn't civil," said Jack Ripper and quickly moved in.
However, at the last second, he quickly jumped back in time to avoid Sprite's cane.
"Mind if I cut in?" Sprite asked.
"Always a pleasure to do the tango with you, Sprite," Cat Noir smiled.
Hawk Moth frowned. "So Lord Sprite really isn't Jack Smith. No matter, get me there, Miraculouses."
"Two-on-one is hardly sporting," said Jack Ripper, and he immediately tossed his knives at them.
Both Sprite and Cat Noir quickly spun their weapons, blocking the attacks.
"All is fair in love and war," said Sprite.
"And it is love that is driving me," said Jack Ripper and then he turned his head towards Chloé. "And I'll be waging a war upon her."
Chloé screamed and ran away before Cat Noir or Sprite could stop her.
"Argh, get away from me!" she screamed.
"Don't think you can get away from me," said Jack Ripper and then suddenly appearing in his hand was a smoke bomb, which he then threw on the ground.
"Where did he go," Cat Noir coughed as he blew away the smoke.
"We simply follow the one he's chasing," said Sprite and turned to look at Nino. "You better head home; the streets are not safe."
"What about my bro Adrien?" Nino asked. "He's completely disappeared."
"Maybe his bodyguard took him home during the commotion," said Cat Noir.
"We'll keep an eye out for your friend, but I know you should prioritise your own safety," said Sprite.
The two heroes nodded at one another and then quickly launched into the air to chase after Chloé.
Chloé ran for her dear life across Pont des Arts bridges as quickly as she could. She was so busy running that he wasn't watching that he was going and quickly collided with Marinette.
"Chloé?" Marinette staring.
"Dupain-Cheng?" Chloé groaned. "What are you doing getting in my way?"
"Your way?" Jill scoffed. "You're the one who crashed into her."
"Why are you in such a hurry, Chloé?" Alya asked as she helped Marinette up.
"To get away from her fake brother," said Chloé, pointing at Jill.
"Jack?" Jill frowned. "Why are you running from him?"
Suddenly, there was a burst of smoke from out of nowhere, and when it was cleared, they saw Jack Ripper standing there on a lamppost.
"Running from they used futile, my dear," said Jack Ripper. "I'll always be able to track you down."
Jill stared at her brother, shocked. "Jack?"
"Help me!" Chloé pleaded.
"I have no quarrel with you ladies, especially you, my dear sister, so he would kindly move aside so I can dispense justice. I would be so greatly obliged," said Jack Ripper.
"He's very polite for supervillain," said Rose.
"Polite or no, we can't just let him have his way with Chloé," said Marinette.
"I would have thought you were all people would appreciate the dispensing justice, my dear Marinette," said Jack Ripper, sounding rather surprised. "She has, after all, caused you a massive amount of misery on many occasions."
"That doesn't mean I want anything bad to happen to her," said Marinette.
Jack Ripper then pulled out some knives. "Then, if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem."
Jack Ripper then threw his knives at Marinette.
"Marinette!" Alya cried.
Fortunately, Sprite appeared at the last second and quickly grabbed Marinette just before she got skewered.
"There was a little too close for comfort," said Sprite.
"Sprite?" Marinette blinked.
Jack Ripper then began tossing more knives, but Cat Noir jumped in and used his staff to deflect them.
"You get the girl to safety, I'll handle our knife-throwing maniac," he said.
Sprite nodded and began carrying Marinette to safety.
"Hey, what about me?" Chloé protested.
Sprite carried Marinette to the other side of the river, underneath the bridge.
"There's no one around, and I think we need Ladybug," said Sprite.
Marinette nodded and opened her purse. "You ready, Tikki?"
"Ready and able," she said.
"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette yelled.
She then began to transform into Ladybug.
Cat Noir was still dealing with Jack Ripper, which was not easy considering the villain was putting distance between them and continued throwing his knives. Cat Noir was stuck on the defensive, trying to protect the girls.
"Jack, please stop this!" Jill pleaded.
"I am sorry, Jill, but this is something that I must do," said Jack Ripper.
"Sorry I'm late," said Ladybug as she arrived with Sprite.
"No, you're just in time, Bugaboo," Cat Noir smiled.
"Don't call me Bugaboo," Ladybug groaned. "Have you at least found where the akuma is?"
"It's his mask," Cat Noir informed her.
Ladybug nodded and then looked at Jack Ripper with a pleading look. "You don't have to do it. Your sister's see you as a hero; don't turn yourself into a monster over this."
"The only monster here is her," said Jack Ripper, pointing at Chloé.
Chloé glared at him. "Me a monster? You need your eyes examined?"
"He's blind, Chloé," Sprite reminded her.
"To me, all of you are blind," said Jack Ripper and then a flash-bang appeared in his hand. "And now all you about to get a taste of it!"
He then tossed the flash bang into the air, which exploded, unleashing a powerful burst of light. Everyone screamed as they covered their eyes as the light blinded them.
"Excellent, now get them Miraculouses," Hawk Moth commanded.
Jack Ripper then quickly moved towards Ladybug, reaching out for earrings, but then suddenly, he was knocked back by Sprite, who used his cane.
"You're not the only one who's blind here," said Sprite.
He then kicked him back, and soon, they began to engage in battle.
Ladybug was blinking her eyes constantly, trying to get her eyesight back. "I can barely see anything."
"Same here, milady," said Cat Noir. "And believe me, I want to see you more than anything."
"Focus, Cat Noir," said Ladybug.
"As you say, Bugaboo. But in all seriousness, how are we supposed to fight an enemy we can't see?"
"We just have to do what Sprite does, rely on our other senses," said Ladybug.
"And how do we do that?"
"Just listen."
Ladybug listened carefully and could hear the footsteps of Sprite and Jack Ripper. She then swung her yo-yo, and it wrapped around someone. Unfortunately, her yo-yo had wrapped around Sprite.
"Ladybug, you got the wrong guy!" Sprite yelled.
Ladybug winced. "Sorry."
Jack Ripper then punched Sprite in the face, knocking him to the ground; he then tried to reach for his brooch. Fortunately, Sprite moved rather quickly and kicked him across the face before jumping to his feet.
"Don't make a move until your eyes have adjusted," said Sprite as he untangled himself from Ladybug's yo-yo.
"But you can't fight him alone," Cat Noir argued.
Sprite knew that he was right and then raised his cane. "You're right, then it's a good thing I can call for aid. It's time to show everyone the true power of the Butterfly Miraculous."
He then opened the stone on his cane, allowing a butterfly to flutter out of it. It looks similar to that of an akuma, but there was no evil intent emanating from it.
"Fly my kamiko and help this desperate soul," Sprite commanded.
"Wait, a kamiko, don't you mean an akuma?" Ladybug frowned.
"An akuma is the evil version of a kamiko; it latches onto negative emotions," Sprite explained as the kamiko fluttered over towards Jill. "My kamiko is the opposite; it latches onto positive emotions."
"But I thought you said that you would never use your powers?" said Cat Noir.
"Unless it's an emergency," said Sprite. "I don't usually like giving powers to untrained civilians, and I most certainly don't like putting them in danger. Plus, I want to give Hawk Moth any new ideas."
The kamiko landed in Jill's sunglasses.
"Melody, I'm giving you the power to aid us in this fight," said Sprite telepathically. "But know that if you accept, I'll be putting you in danger. Do you accept this gift for the greater good?"
"I do," said Jill.
Jill was suddenly covered in dark ether, but seconds later, it disappeared, and she had transformed into Melody. She was wearing a beautiful blue dress with musical notes on it, and her sunglasses had transformed into a visor. Attached to her back were beautiful butterfly-like wings, and she held a baton in her hand.
"It's time to step up the tempo," said Melody.
She then began moving her baton as if conducting music, and a gentle melody began to play. Musical notes began to fly out of the baton and landed on all those whom Jack Ripper had blinded. The moment the note landed on her, Ladybug's eyesight suddenly cleared.
"I can see," said Ladybug.
"Same here," said Cat Noir.
"What a beautiful melody," said Rose.
Jack Ripper immediately glared at Sprite. "You dare have Jill fight your own battles for you."
"No, I fight alongside my champions more than I can say for Hawk Moth, who was too cowardly ever to show his face," Sprite spat.
Hawk Moth clenched his fist in anger. "Jack Ripper, eliminate that pesky fairy."
"As you wish, Hawk Moth," said Jack Ripper, quickly jumping back, suddenly appearing within his hands or small bombs.
London Bridge is falling down
Falling down, falling down
London Bridge is falling down
My fair lady
As he sang, he began tossing the bombs onto the bridge and immediately attached them to the railings.
"He started to creep me out now," said Cat Noir. "What does he intend to do?"
"He's gonna blow up the bridge," Ladybug gasped.
"We have to stop him and fast," said Melody.
Ladybug nodded and tossed her yo-yo up into the air. "Lucky Charm!"
Suddenly appearing out of thin air was a red blanket with black polka dots.
"A blanket?" Melody frowned. "You're not suggesting we put him to bed."
Ladybug began to look around, trying to come up with an idea. Her eyes fell upon Melody, the blanket, Sprite, Jack Ripper and Cat Noir, giving her an idea.
"I know what to do," she said and turned to look at Sprite. "Sprite, do you think you can keep them occupied for a while?"
"You got it," said Sprite and immediately dashed forwards.
He then began swinging his cane at Jack Ripper, who had conjured up a sword and began to duel Sprite one-on-one.
"Those bombs of mine have timers; they will go off with or without me," Jack Ripper informed them.
Ladybug then turned to Melody. "Think you get me behind him without him noticing?"
"I would love to try," Melody smiled.
"Cat Noir, when I give the signal, you do your thing," said Ladybug.
"Your wish is my command, milady," Cat Noir nodded.
Ladybug then jumped off the bridge, but Melody quickly used her butterfly wings to fly and grabbed her. They then flew directly behind Jack Ripper while Sprite was distracting him. The moment Melody dropped Ladybug onto the bridge, she immediately dashed over to Jack Ripper and threw the blanket over his head. Melody then began moving her baton, creating music that drowned out all the noise around them.
Ladybug then signalled Cat Noir, who immediately dashed towards Jack Ripper. "Cataclysm!"
With his hand now charged with destructive energy, he stretched towards Jack Ripper. Sprite then quickly pulled the blanket off of him, and before he had any time to react, Cat Noir placed his hand on his mask. It instantly disintegrated, and the akuma flew out of the shards.
Ladybug then began spinning her yo-yo around. "No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She then caught the akuma and pulled her yo-yo back. "Gotcha!" She then released the now-purified butterfly and watched as it fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."
She then tossed the blanket up into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
The blanket then transformed into magical ladybugs that began to repair all the damage Jack Ripper did, including causing the bombs to disappear. Jack Ripper then turned back to normal Jack.
"What happened?" said Jack.
Ladybug, Cat Noir, Sprite and Melody then bumped fists together. "Pound it!"
"You may have avoided me today, Lord Sprite, but one day, you will slip up, and I shall know all your secrets," Hawk Moth vowed as his window closed.
On the bridge, Sprite retrieved his kamiko from Jill, which flew back into his cane.
"Thank you for the help, Jill," he said.
"No, thank you for saving my brother," Jill smiled and looked at them smiling. "You guys truly are miraculous."
"And I'm sorry for everything that I did," said Jack regretfully.
"It wasn't your fault," said Ladybug gently. "And I have to say you were the most polite villain we've ever encountered."
Cat Noir nodded. "Yeah, I wish all our villains were just as polite."
They all laughed and heard beeping coming from Sprite's brooch.
"I better get going before I transform back," said Sprite.
With that, the heroes went their separate ways.
Later that afternoon, everyone met up back at the school, and Jill was giving an interview to Alya, though she promised not to mention her by name.
"So how was it becoming a superhero?" Alya asked.
"I felt this sudden flow of positive energy company me from head to toe, and the next second, I became Melody," said Jill. "I don't know how else to describe it."
"And you remember everything that happened when you were kamikoized?"
"I remember helping Ladybug, Cat Noir and Sprite, if that's what you mean," Jill nodded.
"You heard it here, folks, the first hero to be kamikoized and hopefully not the last," said Alya.
"It's a shame Sprite can't do it more often," said Adrien. "They would be a big help to Ladybug and Cat Noir."
"Yeah, but he is from the future and probably doesn't want to mess too much with the timeline," said Marinette.
Jill then looked at her watch. "I better make their way to the station; my train will leave soon."
"I'm just sorry that your first time in Paris ended up like this," said Jack apologetically.
"At least it wasn't boring," Jill smiled and then wrapped his arm around his. "Now, are you going to escort me to the station?"
"Like you're the one escorting me," said Jack.
Regardless, the two of them soon made their way towards the station.
"You know, I think those two are lucky to have one another," said Alya.
Marinette nodded. "They're just so perfect to one another."
"They sure are," Adrien agreed.
However, instead of going to the train station, Jill and Jack turned around the corner into an alleyway. Then, stepping out of the shadows was Sprite.
"Why you followed?" he asked.
"No, the coast is clear," she said.
"Nooroo, light wings fall," said Sprite.
Sprite then de-transformed, revealing his identity to be none other than Jack.
Then, flying out of Jill's satchel was a dark blue kwami with a tail that resembled a peacock.
"Duusu, spread my feathers," said Jill.
Duusu entered Jill's brooch and began to transform; her skin turned blue, and she wore a skintight dark blue suit with matching high heels. Her hair became longer and turned blue as well but had purple highlights that resembled the end of a peacock's tail, and she was wearing a blue visor across her eyes. In her hand, she was wielding a hand which had razor-sharp edges.
She then turned to the Jack next to her. "I am sorry about this, Replica."
"It is perfectly all right, Lady P," said the fake Jack and then suddenly transformed into a faceless wooden doll.
"I release you from existence," said Lady P and snapped her fingers.
A pure white feather flew from Jill's sunglasses, and Replica vanished.
"I hate it every single time I'm forced to erase a sentimonster," she said regretfully. "Even if Replica was merely copying your personality and form."
"It was necessary to throw off Hawk Moth," said Jack regretfully. "With both Jack and Sprite in the same place, nobody would ever think that we are, in fact, the same person."
Lady P nodded. "The same way Gabriel fooled Ladybug and Cat Noir."
"It's just a shame we can't do anything to stop him," said Jack, looking at Nooroo, who was flying alongside him. "I would want nothing more than to free you from his clutches."
"I know, but believe it or not, he wasn't the worst master I had," said Nooroo. "But it was worth it all to be partnered up with you."
Jack smiled as Nooroo nuzzled him.
