On Marinette's computer, Tikki was watching a new talk show that Nadja Chamack was hosting called Face To Face on TV 5.
"Tonight, for our first edition of Face To Face, you'll have the opportunity of a lifetime," said Nadja dramatically. "The chance to talk live with Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite. Along with me, Nadja Chamack. We'll be revealing some sizzling hot information about your favourite superheroes. Don't be bemused; it's just the news."
"Sizzling hot revelations?" Tikki gasped, shocked.
"Can you believe it, Tikki?" said Marinette as she was sewing. "An entire hour-long special about me and Cat Noir. Pretty exciting, huh?"
Tikki wasn't as enthusiastic; in fact, she was panic-stricken. "But Marinette, you're a superhero, not a star. You have to remain a mystery to protect yourself from Hawk Moth and his supervillains."
"Don't worry; I only accepted this because I want the people of Paris to know that Cat Noir, Lord Sprite, and I will always do whatever it takes to keep them safe," she said calmly.
"Just be careful tonight, okay?" Tikki pleaded.
Marinette frowned in confusion. "Tonight? What do you mean Tonight?" She then picked up a phone and checked her babysitting schedule. "Tonight, I have babysitting; the show is tomorrow."
"Don't forget, Tonight. Face To face, live with Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite," said Nadja on her computer.
Now was Marinette's turn to be anxious as she looked back at the monitor and her phone, simultaneously realising she had just made a catastrophic mistake.
"And that's probably why you babysit tonight," said Tikki.
"Marinette!" Manon cried.
Marinette quickly switched off the monitor just as Nadja entered the room with Manon, who immediately jumped into her arms. "Marinette!"
"Manon. Mrs Chamack, I, uh, I just saw your ad for your show… Tonight," said Marinette a little awkwardly.
"Sorry, I'm running late," said Nadja. "Thanks again for watching Manon." She then handed Manon her backpack to Marinette and then checked her phone. "I've put a bunch of things for her in her bag, and she's already had dinner. Oh, I'm so glad you were free Tonight."
"Uh, yeah," said Marinette, chuckling nervously as she placed Manon's backpack on the chair. "I had no other plans. No plans at all."
"I better get going," said Nadja, putting her phone away. "I've got a lot writing this interview. I need all of Paris in front of the screen Tonight." He then looked at Manon. "Sweetie, just for tonight, you're allowed to watch some television with Marinette."
"Yay!" Manon cheered as she jumped onto Marinette's shoulders. "Mummy's gonna be on TV with Ladybug Cat Noir and Lord Sprite."
"You'll do great, Mrs. Chamack. Besides, you already have two viewers," Marinette giggled.
"Wish me luck, and tell all your friends to tune in," she said as she began to leave.
"I will!" Marinette promised as she waved. Once she left, she placed Manon, who started jumping on her bed. She quickly grabbed her phone and dialled Alya. "Uh, Alya?"
Nadja had made it to the studio, and her staff were preparing for the show. She then reached out and ate a chouquette.
"We're on air in 10, and still no Cat in sight," said Arlette through her earpiece headset. "You sure you have this in control, Nadja?"
"Yes, Arlette. I got this, as promised," Nadja assured her. "Biggest audience of the year!"
"Well, let's hope so if you want to keep this show prime-time in the future."
Nadja looked at the empty couch in front of her, wondering where Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite were. She looked at her tablet, but when she looked up again, she dropped it in shock as Cat Noir and Sprite sat before her.
"Which way did you two come in?" she asked.
"Secret celebrity door," said Cat Noir as he grabbed one of the drinks on the table. "I see Ladybug's running behind, huh?"
"I thought you'd be arriving together," said Nadja worriedly.
"I'm sure she'll be here," Sprite assured her.
Cat Noir then leaned in towards Nadja. "Wanna hear a secret?" Nadja nodded eagerly. "I love chouquettes."
Sprite rolled his eyes. "What a shocking revelation."
"Is that the sizzling hot information I've been promised?" said Arlette.
"No, of course not," said Nadja.
"Well, you know the rules. Prime-time, prime info. No info, no more show!" she warned her.
"We're on the air in 5," said one of the crew.
Cat Noir tried calling Ladybug on his cat phone but got nothing. "I'm sorry, she's not picking up."
"Meaning she's probably still in his civilian form," Sprite assumed.
Marinette had managed to invite Alyla over so that she could look after Manon. The two of them were playing on the floor while she was tossing some pillows and blankets off her bed.
"Super Manon to the rescue, woohoo!" said Alya, lifting Manon into the air like she was a superhero.
"To the Eiffel Tower and beyond!" Manon laughed
"Glad you could make it last minute, Alya," said Marinette.
"Of course, it's way more fun watching your favourite superhero on TV with my favourite girls," she said as she tickled Manon.
Marinette had put the computer monitor onto the floor so they could watch the show. However, she was getting anxious as the show itself was about to begin.
"When we return from commercial, Nadja Chamack will be joined by Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite for an incredible, exclusive interview," the commentator said.
Manon immediately pointed at her mother when she showed up on the monitor. "Mummy, there's mummy!"
"Why can't I get an exclusive interview like that for my Ladyblog?" Alya moaned.
"Oh, I forgot to uhh, tell my bakery something," Marinette started, not realising she was getting her words mixed up. "They're in the parents downstairs. Do you mind keeping an eye on Manon while I'm not here?"
"Don't you mean tell your parents something in the bakery?" Ayla frowned.
"Uhh, right," said Marinette as she continued to stutter. "Well, uhh, sometimes, it can take a while—they don't always understand even when I explain. Uhh, actually, it's not their fault, they…
Alya raised an eyebrow. "Marinette?"
"Yes?" she asked quietly.
"Go!"
"Right!" said Marinette and began making her way downstairs.
Once she was further away from her bedroom, she quickly turned to Tikki. "Alya's such a good friend, I feel so guilty for inviting her over just so I can leave her with Manon—then again, Alya is Ladybug's biggest fan—she'd be crushed if her favourite superhero didn't turn up for her favourite TV show."
"It's your choice, Marinette," said Tikki.
"Well… Tikki, spots on!" she yelled.
She then began to transform into Ladybug and wasted no time to swing her way to the TV station as quickly as possible.
At TVi Studio, Nadja's show was about to go live, and there was no sign of Ladybug.
"Going live in ten, nine…" said a member of staff.
"Eight seconds from the greatest fail in TV history," said Arlette on her earpiece.
"Five, four, three…"
At that moment, Ladybug kicked the doors open, used her yo-yo to fly across the studio, and landed on the couch beside Cat Noir.
"I thought you decided to stand me up, m'lady!" said Cat Noir.
"And let the audience down? Never," Ladybug smiles and looked at Nadja apologetically. "I'm sorry I'm so late, Nadja."
"Well, you certainly make quite the entrance," Sprite chuckled.
Nadja was a little shocked by the entrance, but that paled in comparison to the relief she was feeling at the moment.
"Saved by the bug!" said Arlette. "Well, now, I'm counting on you to boost those ratings sky-high." Nadja looked at the water on her wrist, which was measuring the ratings, which were currently in the red. "Make that red turn green."
Everyone in Paris was now tuning into the live broadcast, including the Césaire residence, Chloé Bourgeois, André Bourgeois, Gabriel Agreste and even Lady P.
"Good evening," said Nadja. "I'm Nadja Chamack, and this is Face To Face. For our first edition, I welcome the beloved guardians of Paris—Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite." The three heroes waved at the audience. "Hello, thanks so much for accepting this exclusive live interview."
"Well, thank you, Nadja; we're honoured to be here," said Ladybug.
"It's a pleasure being here," said Sprite.
"And hello to all my fans!" said Cat Noir, blowing a kiss and winking at the camera.
"I'm sure thousands have tuned in to watch you Tonight," said Nadja.
"Don't encourage him, Nadja, or the cat won't stop purring all night," said Ladybug.
"Don't listen to her. Bugaboo's just a spot jealous," Cat Noir smiled.
Ladybug flicked his bell. "Hey, I thought we agreed on no more Bugaboo calling, pussycat."
"But it's so cute," he chuckled.
"I'm starting to feel like a third wheel," said Sprite, rolling his eyes.
Nadja looked at her watch and saw the ratings were slightly increasing. She then giggled to calm her nervousness and looked at Ladybug and Cat Noir directly. "Yes, it does seem that you two are very close."
In Marinette's bedroom, both Manon and Alya couldn't help but notice Marinette's absence.
"Marinette is missing the whole thing," said Manon.
Alya looked at the door concerned. "What could that girl be doing?"
"People know you, but they don't really know you. We see you saving Paris, but we don't know anything else about you," Nadja continued.
"We won't be keeping anything from you, Nadja," Cat Noir assured her.
"Well, we do have to keep a few secrets, including our identities, of course," Ladybug added quickly.
"And I cannot share with future historical events," Sprite added.
Nadja looked at her watch and saw that the ratings were increasing. "Absolutely! How about we start with a few questions from your biggest fans?
"Yup, let's do it," Ladybug nodded.
Sadly, the first caller was Chloé, who immediately waved at the monitor.
"Hello, caller," said Nadja. "State your name and your question."
"Uhh, seriously, Nadja?" Chloé scoffed. "Surely, no one would be the first caller but me. I'm only the most prestigious fan of Ladybug."
"Oh yes, of course," said Nadja, slightly taken aback. "Hello there, Chloé Bourgeois. Daughter of the mayor of Paris…
"And don't forget my daddy is the manager of the Grand Paris, the best luxury hotel in the entire city," Chloé added.
"Uhh, thank you for reminding us. What is your question, Chloé?"
Chloé merely winked. "Oh, I don't have a question. I just wanted to say hi since, as you all know, we're such very good friends—Ladybug, Cat Noir, Lord Sprite and I!"
Cat Noir waved at her, but Ladybug and Lord Sprite showed no enthusiasm; in fact, Ladybug was rather annoyed.
Nadja looked at her watch and saw that the ratings were decreasing. "Uh, thank you, Chloé Bourgeois—next caller…
"Hey, I'm not finished, who gives you the right to—"
Nadja quickly disconnected the call and moved on to the next caller, which turned out to be Alya.
"Hi there, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite," Alya waved, and Ladybug immediately panicked. "I'm Alya, and I was wondering if you could grab me an interview for the Ladyblog. You know, since I have way more viewers than Nadja! What do you say?"
There was a slightly awkward moment when she said that between Nadja and Ladybug.
"Uhh, yeah, sure, Alya," said Ladybug awkwardly. "I'd love to do that."
"That totally rocks. Thank you, thank you!" said Alya excitedly.
Manon then appeared on the monitor. "I'm on TV? Mummy!"
Nadja looked shocked upon seeing her. "Manon? But where's Marinette?"
Ladybug began to panic again.
"She had to go tell her parents something," said Manon.
"Uhh, yeah, and sometimes, it can take a while," said Alya.
"I have to say these are not the kind of questions I was expecting on the show," said Sprite honestly.
"The pixie has a point, Nadja?" said Arlette, not sounding very amused. "Is this some kind of joke? Just get to the scoop now!"
Nadja immediately disconnected the call between her, Alya and Manon and looked back at the heroes. "Uh, Ladybug, Cat Noir, um, so a lot of fans think of you as a couple of superheroes. But also, and I quote unquote, as a couple. Period."
"What?" Ladybug shrieked.
"Can you confirm that you're dating here Tonight?" Nadja asked.
"Uh-uh-I'm very sorry, Nadja, but we're superheroes," said Ladybug firmly. "We're not here to answer such personal questions."
"Meow, m'ladybug's grown claws," Cat Noir teased.
"We're here to ensure all Parisians that they're safe and that it's only a matter of time before we defeat Hawk Moth, that's all," said ladybug matter of facterly.
"You told me you had an inside scoop," said Arlette.
"Fine. How do you explain these photographs, then?" Nadja asked and used her tablet to show an image of both Ladybug and Cat Noir kissing, which bewildered the superheroes.
"What? When did that happen?" Cat Noir stared, looking at the mortified Ladybug
"I was saving you, not kissing you!" she said irritably.
"I was there and can confirm that," said Sprite. "And I mean the saving, not the kissing."
"Good job, keep that up!" Arlette encouraged.
Nadja looked at her watch and saw the ratings were improving, nearly getting the green. She then produced more images of Ladybug and Cat Noir onto the monitor display. Sadly, they were completely out of context and certainly implied that the two of them were close, much to the shock of the superheroes in question.
"It's so obvious that you're both in love," said Nadja.
"These are just a bunch of photos taken out of context!" said Ladybug, fuming. "We're only doing our job. We save the city every day; we're not a couple."
"But hopefully, one day…" said Cat Noir, hopefully
Ladybug glared at him. "Cat… not now!"
"I always felt like a third wheel with you guys," Sprite admitted.
Ladybug glared at him as he rose to her feet. "Not helping."
"Why won't you tell the truth?" Nadja asked.
"But it is the truth, Nadja."
"C'mon, the audience awaits your answer," Nadja encouraged.
"This interview is so over," said Ladybug flatly and grabbed Cat Noir on the arm, forcing him to leave with her.
"Woah, what's the rush?" Cat Noir asked.
"Uh, there's an alert," she said, pulling out her yo-yo. "Paris needs us right now!"
"This interview is getting a little out of hand," said Sprite as he got to his feet.
Cat Noir looked at Nadja as Ladybug dragged him away. "Uh, sorry. When duty calls… Gotta get going!"
"Don't let them leave," said Arlette
"Hey… Wait, you two, the show is not over yet," said Nadja. "Your fans will be disappointed if they don't get an answer."
"If they are true fans, they'll understand," said Ladybug as she opened the studio door.
"The Lady's right!" Cat Noir bowed.
"We bid you adieu," said Sprite as they left the studio.
The moment they closed the door, the broadcast stopped, and an advertisement appeared.
Alya and Manon looked at one another, perplexed.
Nadja looked completely crushed.
"Well, say 'bye bye', Nadj," said Arlette. "This is officially your first and last prime-time show."
Arlette then walked out, and the lights in the studio switched off, leaving only a sobbing Nadja in the studio.
At his lair, Hawk Moth opened his window as he began to prey upon another unfortunate soul.
"A journalist ridiculed by Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite. Now that's the perfect prey," he smiled, turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize her!"
He then released the akuma and began to fly over Paris.
Nadja was still in the studio crying when the akuma arrived and flew into her watch. Instantly, that sobbing face turned angry, and a glowing pink butterfly symbol appeared on her face.
"Prime Queen, I am Hawk Moth," said Hawk Mot telepathically. "I see Ladybug and Cat Noir have denied you the answers you deserve. Seal their Miraculous and will get your scoop."
"The highest ratings will be mine," said Nadja.
Dark ether began to cover her body, transforming her into Prime Queen. Her face became digitised, and she wore a red and black costume. Her watch transformed into a gauntlet covering her right hand.
Outside, the three heroes reached the roof of the TV station to get some fresh air.
"So, who are we saving again?" Cat Noir asked.
Sprite rolled his eyes. "There is no want to save."
"Just us; Nadja was willing to do anything to make sure her show would be a success, and I'm not about to answer any more of her prime questions," said Ladybug.
"That's the price of success, milady, the price of stardom," Cat Noir pointed out.
"We're superheroes, not stars. We should be doing our job, not looking like fools on TV," she said.
Ladybug swung away with her yo-yo, and Cat Noir quickly followed her, vaulting with his staff.
"Wait, I wasn't planning on getting home so early," he said. "Why don't we get some ice cream? I know the purr-fect place."
Sprite shook his head. "Figures that love square would happen in the city of love itself."
He then swung his cane and all right after them.
Back in Marinette's room, Alya and Manon were still watching TV but couldn't find anything good on. Eventually, Ayla gave up and switched off the TV.
"Ugh, my interview would've been so much better," Alya grumbled.
"Why can't we see Mummy on TV anymore, and where's Marinette?" Mannon asked.
She then yawned and fell asleep.
"I'm sure she'll be back soon before you can say super Mano—"
she stopped when she saw that Manon was fast asleep. Smiling, she carried Manon onto Marinette's chaise longue.
Then suddenly, Marinette's computer monitor turned on, and Prime Queen appeared on the screen.
"Welcome to a new show hosted by me, Prime Queen," she said.
On the rooftops, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite ran towards the nearest screen, shocked to see that Nadja had been akumatizied.
Don't be bemused; it's just the news," said Prime Queen.
"Nadja?" the heroes gasped.
"Tonight, Ladybug and Cat Noir disappointed all their loyal fans by refusing to admit their love for one another," said Prime Queen and then jumped back, and Chloé's room appeared on the screen. "I've prepared some trials just to see how far they're prepared to keep the truth hidden from us."
She reached towards the screen, and her hand appeared out of it. Seconds later, she appeared in Chloé's room.
"Hey! You're not allowed to come in here!" Chloé snapped.
Prime Queen then gave the rope she was holding a good tug.
"Security!" Chloé screamed.
Prime Queen wrapped the rope around Chloé, pulled her towards her, and then looked towards the screen.
"Let's welcome our very first guest, Chloé Bourgeois, who's apparently a personal friend of our two superheroes," said Prime Queen.
"I certainly am," Chloé agreed.
"Just proves that you can't believe everything you see on TV," said Ladybug.
"Well then, dear Chloé, let's find out if you really can count on them as true friends," said Prime Queen.
She then snapped her fingers on the screen and changed to a subway station.
She then walked through the screen, pulling Chloé along with her. Everyone in the subway and train stared in shock, and the moment the train stopped at the station, they ran out.
Prime Queen then dropped Chloé onto the floor. "Hey, watch it! You're wrinkling my clothes! Do you realise how much they cost?"
Prime Queen ignored her and snapped her fingers to change the screen showing the train cab. She then dived into the screen and chased the driver away. She then operated the train herself, causing it to move. It slowly began to pick up speed, causing Chloé to fall on her face.
"Ugh, this can't be happening to me!" Chloé moaned. "I never, ever take the subway train! It's so, so, not me!" She then saw some gum stuck on her jacket. "Ugh, gross."
Prime Queen then looked towards the screen. "Welcome to the subway of suspense! If it reaches seventy miles per hour, you can say goodbye to your precious little friend."
Ladybug, Cat Noir and Sprite stared in shock at the scene before them.
"Well, well, look here, the ratings are rising!" Prime Queen noticed. "More and more of you want to know if our superhero friends will get here on time. The suspense is killing her!"
She then laughed. "Ladybug! Cat Noir! Lord Sprite! Are you willing to travel through the screen to save your darling Chloé?
"Ladybug, Cat Noir, Sprite! I beg you, save my jacket!" Chloé pleaded.
Cat Noir extended his staff towards the screen and watched as it went through it. He then retracted it and looked at Ladybug and Sprite.
"Ready to take the leap?" he said
"What if it's a trap?" said Ladybug. "I think I'd rather get there by my own means."
"There are many, many subway lines in Paris, which means a hundred and forty miles of rails," said Cat Noir in a matter-of-fact tone.
Ladybug looked at Sprite. "Can't Lady P track the train?"
Sprite then held out his cane. "What about it, Lady P?"
"Oh, I can certainly track the train. I'm doing it right now," said Lady P as she frantically used a computer. "I'm diverging train and switching points so that the train doesn't collide with anything. However, that train is moving at about 70 miles an hour. There's no way you will be able to keep up.
"You heard the lady," said Cat Noir, smiling triumphantly at Ladybug. "If we want to get there in time to save Chloé, we don't really have a choice."
"Huh, just admit you love being on TV," Ladybug smirked.
"I don't get stage fright, Bugaboo," Cat Noir smiled.
With that settled, the three of them did a longing jump into the screen.
When they exited the screen, they suddenly found themselves on the subway train where Chloé was being held.
"Ugh, finally, what took you so long?" Chloé yelled. "Hurry up and get me out of this underground nightmare!"
She then toppled over.
Prime Queen laughed as she stepped out into the open. "You're about to be the stars of the highest-rated show in all of TV history!"
"The akuma must be in that watch!" Ladybug whispered. "Sprite and I will deal with Prime Queen.
Cat Noir nodded. "I'll deal with the door."
"Let's do this," said Sprite.
They charged at Prime Queen, and Ladybug quickly swung her yo-yo at her. However, she quickly dived into a nearby screen, which was then shattered by Ladybug's yo-yo. Cat Noir rushed towards the door and tried to open it, but it was locked.
"We're trapped!" said Cat Noir.
Prime Queen then appeared on a screen on the other side of the subway car. "The rules for my show are simple: admit the truth live on TV that you, Ladybug and Cat Noir are dating and in love, and I'll stop the train!"
"A superhero never lies!" said Ladybug. "We won't admit to something that's not true."
"I want my scoop!" said Prime Queen stubbornly.
"But no one will believe it if you force it under duress," Sprite pointed out.
"I'll use my Cataclysm," said Cat Noir.
"No, wait, we might need it for an emergency," said Ladybug.
"Yeah, like right now!"
"We have to lure her over her first, or we'll never capture her akuma!" said Ladybug. "So let's just play along with her; at least it'll buy us some time."
"Meaning?" Cat Noir frowned.
Ladybug looked at Prime Queen. "Okay, Prime Queen…" She then grabbed hold of Cat Noir's hand, much to his shock. "…you win. I confess, Cat Noir and I are dating, like you said. We are in love."
Prime Queen stopped the train, causing Chloé to fall over again, and the heroes were thrown back. Ladybug accidentally landed on Cat Noir's chest and immediately purred.
Ladybug frowned at him. "Did I just hear you purr?"
"Uh, no way!" he said nervously.
"Our two heroic lovebirds are saving their fan's life by admitting their true feelings," said Prime Queen. "Our viewers are going crazy! But our TV ratings haven't maxed out yet. You must do better!"
"Then come and join us, Prime Queen," said Ladybug. "You're the host and the star of the show, after all. Then you'll have your ratings."
"Order them to give you their Miraculous!" said Hawk Moth telepathically.
"My show, my rules, Ladybug!" said Prime Queen. "To prove that your feelings are genuine, you're going to have to take off your masks, which means you must both give me your Miraculous!"
"Not a chance, Prime Queen!" said Ladybug.
"Wait, I know how we can prove our feelings," said Cat Noir, grabbing Ladybug's shoulders. "Pucker up!"
He pulled his face close to Ladybug's, and Prime Queen watched in anticipation.
Ladybug sadly was not as impressed. "Not a chance, kitty."
"Good, as if things weren't awkward enough," said Sprite.
Cat Noir looked down disappointed, and Prime Queen turned off the screen.
"Is the show over?" Cat Noir asked, tapping the screen.
"I doubted. I think she's got something else in mind for episode two," said Sprite.
"If we can't get to her, we'll never be able to capture her akuma!" said Ladybug.
The screen instantly turned back on, and they saw that Prime Queen was broadcasting at the Louvre Museum.
"My dear viewers, you are in for the reveal of a lifetime!" she said, laughing.
She then opened the sarcophagus behind her, revealing that Alya was tied up inside it.
"Ladybug, help me, please!" Alya pleaded.
Prime Queen then closed the sarcophagus and looked at the camera. "Oh wait, isn't this the girl who started the famous Ladyblog? The first one who ever filmed Ladybug?"
"Ah! No, Alya!" Ladybug gasped.
"Next trial, your Miraculous! Or else your biggest fan will be mummified!" Prime Queen laughed.
The screen that Cat Noir was leaning against suddenly became a doorway, and he almost fell through it.
"Let's leap in before she runs!" said Ladybug, looking at Cat Noir and Sprite.
Cat Noir nodded, and they jumped through the screen, leaving Chloé behind, who was still tied up.
"Hey! Ugh, wait! What about me?" she yelled. "Someone get me out of here!"
They soon exited the screen, but instead of landing in the Louvre, they landed in the kitchen's freezer at Le Grand Paris restaurant.
"We're not at the Louvre…" said Cat Noir.
"It was a double-cross!" said Ladybug trying to open the door which was locked.
Prime Queen appeared on the monitor laughing.
"Uh, Cataclysm?" Cat Noir asked.
"There's no point!" said Ladybug, frustrated. "We're probably far away from the Louvre! By the time we get there, it'll be too late to save Alya!"
"Even if we could escape, she could just easily transport herself or us somewhere else," said Sprite.
"So, a kiss then?" Cat Noir smiled, leaning to kiss Ladybug.
Ladybug looked at him unamused. "Still not a chance, Cat Noir."
Once again, Cat Noir looked down disappointed.
"The time has come to push those ratings sky high!" said Prime Queen. "Let's try this again. Remove your Miraculous and reveal your true selves! The whole world is watching you!"
"The perfect plan, Prime Queen," Hawk Moth smiled. "They're cornered! Their Miraculous are mine!"
Prime Queen then pulled the sarcophagus holding Alya up. "There's no use looking for a way out! Unless you want to see your biggest fan in deep water."
She then snapped her fingers, and the television in front of her displayed the Seine.
The three heroes gasped in horror as they realised what she intended to do.
She then slowly pushed towards the screen. "Hurry up, you two. Don't wanna keep your audience waiting.
"You're right! Lucky Charm!" Ladybug yelled, tossing her yo-yo into the air, and appearing out of thin air was a red and black spotted tape roll. "A tape roll? What am I supposed to do with this? Hmm…" She looked around in the freezer at all times and then at the TV screen, which gave her an idea. "Of course!"
Cat Noir and Sprite then watched as she began pulling all the drawers, looking for something.
"I wonder what she's got planned this time?" Sprite wandered.
"Hurry up, she's about to push Alya in the water!" said Cat Noir anxiously.
"One minute!" she said.
"That's too long!"
"Listen to the cat," said Prime Queen, pushing the sarcophagus further through the screen.
Ladybug finally found what she was looking for: pizza boxes. "Voilà!"
She then handed Cat Noir the pizza inside the box and then taped the box over the TV screen, making it dark on the other side.
"What's happening?" said Prime Queen, confused.
"Fine, you win, Prime Queen," said Ladybug behind a black screen. "We'll remove our Miraculous. The whole world will see us without our masks!"
"And We're about to kiss! Shame you're missing it!" Cat Noir added.
"So unlucky!" said Ladybug.
"Makes me wish I was able to see the entire thing, but I guess now you're just as blind as Prime Queen," said Sprite smugly.
Prime Queen looked at the ratings on her watch before looking back at the blank screen. "If you're lying, you're going to regret it," she said threateningly.
She punched through the box, but Ladybug was waiting for that. She grabbed her wrist and pulled through the screen, and Cat Noir smashed it with his staff.
"And now you're stuck with us," said Cat Noir.
"Looks like your trap is turned into our trap," said Sprite.
Primary quickly got to her feet and began swinging her fists at the three heroes. However, Sprite quickly blocked one fist with his cane and then dealt her elbow into the face. Ladybug then used this opportunity to pin her to the ground, wrapping her legs around her shoulder.
Cat Noir then used his staff to smash the watch, letting the akuma escape.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled, charging his hand with destructive energy and touching the door, causing it to disintegrate. "Ladies first!"
"Thank you!" said Ladybug graciously as they stepped into the kitchen and pulled out her yo-yo. "No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" She swung her yo-yo, catching the akuma, and then pulled it back. "Gotcha!" She then released the now-purified butterfly and watched as it fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."
She then grabbed the tape roll and tossed it up into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
The magical ladybugs then appeared and began fixing all the damage and returning everyone back to their proper places. Finally, Prime Queen reverted back to Nadja, who looked around confused.
"W-w-what just happened?" she asked.
The three heroes then bumped fists. "Pound it!"
"Prime Queen turned out to be bad news," said Hawk Moth furiously. "But soon, I'll be broadcasting the end of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite!"
The window to his lair then closed.
Manon was still fast asleep in Marinette's bedroom, and Alya smiled as she watched.
Marinette then came running up the stairs. "I'm so sorry, Alya! I had no idea it would take so long to talk to my parents!"
Alya quickly walked over to her. "You won't believe it, I was taken hostage by a supervillain!"
"What? You're kidding!" said Marinette, pretending to be surprised.
Alya nodded. "No joke! You missed everything! Luckily, Ladybug saved me!"
Marinette then hugged her, smiling. "I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you."
Alya patted her head. "No biggie, girl. But the next time we decide to spend an evening together, you're not allowed to go anywhere near your parents."
Marinette laughed. "Deal."
Nadja somehow managed to convince producers to do another episode of Face to Face, but this time, it wasn't live.
"Don't be bemused; it's just the news!" said Nadja. "Hi, I'm Nadja Chamack, and this is Side by Side. Today, I'm joined by Alya Césiare, who created the Ladyblog! Together, we'll be looking back over Cat Noir and Ladybug's greatest feats."
"Your ratings are really high, Nadja!" said Arlette over her earpiece. "Great job, you've earned this prime-time show!"
"Hello Nadja! Hey, fans!" said Alyla. "So, first of all, I gotta set the record straight. Cat Noir and Ladybug are not a couple! Well, not yet, at least. Sorry to break the news."
Alya was showing the recording of the show to Marinette and Manon in Marinette's living room.
"Hey, that's you with my mommy!" Manon pointed.
"That's right, small fry!" Alya smiled.
"Well done! Now everyone's going to know about the Ladyblog!" said Marinette.
"You want an autograph?" Alya asked, twiddling her pen.
"Of course!" Marinette beamed
"Me first! Me first!" Manon yelled.
They all laughed.
