The Future's Young Fingerprints
Lumiouse City, Kalos. July 24th 2033, 1:13pm.
The group's eyes widened. "The future?" Drew asked, bewildered. Older Misty just nodded while grinning. "Where do I live?" Misty asked, slightly curious.
Older Misty used her tongue to make a 'click' sound.
"Well, I live in-"
A baby's cry rang out, cutting off Older Misty as she sheepishly -and inaudibly- excused herself, as she went into the room behind her. The group stared at the screen for a moment before at Misty.
"What?" Misty asked annoyed by the attention.
"You have a baby?!" Dawn blurted out, as Misty turned a dark shade of pink.
"Yes, we do."
Everyone turned back to the screen to see an older version of Ash, the only thing telling them apart was the fact that he was taller, though he was still shorter than Drew, who was 6'8", but still pretty tall.
"Is that you, Ash?" Leaf turned to him.
Older Ash nodded and gave her a lopsided grin. "Damn Ash, you grow tall." Gary said, stressing the word 'tall'.
Older Ash chuckled sheepishly. "Yeah, no. I'm still shorter than the Drew thats your age!" he exclaimed. "And can you believe that in a few years, he'll grow to be almost 7 feet?!" All heads turned to Drew, who raised an eyebrow.
"Damn bro. You're gonna be a fucking giant." Gary smirked. "You better hope bandana, over here likes tall dudes." he snickered as Drew's face became red from embarrassment. May looked over innocently. "Oh. Do you mean me?" she asked tilting her head to the side cutely. The group facepalmed.
"Anyways," Older Ash began. "Bonnie," he called as the blonde pushed her way to the front. "I need you to guide everyone to the Lumiouse Gym, where you guys will find Clemont, Serena, and-" "Oooh , did Clemont finally tell Serena he likes her?!" Bonnie asked, excitedly. Older Ash smiled nervously. "Not exactly.."
"Oh."
"Yeah, um" Older Ash said, trying to move away from the awkward topic. "Anyways, they'll be waiting for you at the gym, and they'll help you guys get here." Older Ash finished.
"Hey Ash." Older Misty whispered, coming out of the room behind them. "Hmm?" Ash turned around. "Keep it low, okay? Aqua's sleeping." she mumbled quietly. Older Ash nodded, and made a 'keep it down' motion to the group. They group nodded.
"Hey Ash," Older Misty called quietly. Older Ash turned his head towards her, excusing himself from the call, coming back a few moments later to explain a problem.
"Umm…," he said, not sure where to start from. Older Misty mumbled a few swears under her breath before standing up from the couch to help her husband. "Okay so, " she stated in a commanding tone. "May," she called, as the brunette shuffled up front. "You know the way to Lunar Bakery, right?" May thought about it for a moment, and nodded. Older Misty grinned. "Okay, May, Drew, Dawn, and Paul, are going to go to the bakery to get Serena, since she's pregnant and might need help,"
Older Misty then turned to the others. "As for you lot, you guys will split into… wait," Older Misty stopped. "How many of you know the way to the Lumiouse Gym?" Ash, Bonnie, and Max raised their hands. Older Misty nodded slightly, forming a plan in her head.
"Okay, Ash, and Mini-me will go together," she planned. "Then, Gary and Max can go together, and that leaves Leaf and Bonnie." Older Misty turned to Paul. "Hey Paul," she called, causing Paul to raise an eyebrow. "You know the way to Lumiouse gym, don't ya?" she asked. Paul nodded. "Okay, I'm gonna need you to take your group to the gym." she said. Paul nodded again.
"Oh and," Older Misty added, causing the group to straighten up. "Paul's group," she said nodding towards Paul through the videophone. "will go get Serena right now, and bring her to your room." she said. "Then, I want you guys to leave for the gym at night after 10pm." she continued. "We want to be low-key about everything, else they'll find you." she said seriously. "I want each group to take on a different path to the gym." she said, before adding," And don't you dare go off track." she finished threateningly, as the group took in a collective gulp.
Older Misty looked at them weirdly. "Well, what're you waiting for?!" she demanded "Go, go, go!" she said hanging up.
They stared after she hung up. They each glanced at each other and nodded.
It was time to put the plan into action.
