The Future's Young Fingerprint

The brunette smiled politely. "Sorry, I think you have the wrong person," she said. Misty gasped embarrassedly. "Oh. Sorry." she said, laughing nervously. The brunette shook her head. "It's totally okay. May I ask who you're looking for?" she asked.
Misty looked at the others, who shook their heads. She turned to the brown haired woman with brilliant blue eyes. "Sorry. Can't." she spoke sheepishly. The brunette's smile widened a little. "Oh, no, that's totally understandable. I'm Cordelia, by the way." she smiled, putting out her hand for the redhead to shake.
Misty took her hand in her own. "I'm Misty. And these are my friends; May, Leaf, both of them are Dawn, both of them are Max and Bonnie, and both of them are Paul, " she motioned to the two adults and their younger counterparts who waved. "That's Ash, Liam, and there's Drew, and Gary, and here we have little Belle," she introduced. Cordelia's mouth dipped into a smirk for a second, before forming back into a bright smile. Suddenly, her phone buzzed.
She looked down at it before looking back up. "Oh, excuse me for a second, I have to take this. How about I meet you all at this address in an hour?" she suggested, handing them a piece of paper and leaving. They all blinked after her. "That was weird," Dawn remarked.
Liam looked down at Aidan. "Guys, Aidan told me last night that he didn't feel safe to go around like this, so I wanted to go drop him off. Is that alright?" he asked. Everyone nodded. "Sure," Max said. "Could we come? I wanna say goodbye to Aidan," Bonnie said. Liam looked at Aidan, who nodded slowly. "Okay," he said cutely. Bonnie giggled. "Alright!" she high-fived the six-year old. Liam waved goodbye to the group. "We'll see you guys later, then," he smiled. "Bye!" the group chorused.
After they'd left, Drew took the piece of paper from Misty. "I don't think we should go. I don't trust her," he spoke firmly. Misty snatched back the address. "Well, we're going there," she huffed, as she high tailed to the address, the group following her.

"393, you're late by a minute!"
"Sorry sir,"
"You better have some news,"
"I do, sir,"
"Well then, hurry up!"
"Yes, I found them."
"Where?"
"They are in Larousse City. I told them to meet me by house next to the abandoned factory. They should be there in an hour,"
"Good job, 393."
"Thank you sir,"
"I'll send the backup team in Larousse to capture them."
"Yes sir."
"If they get captured, I might just promote you…"
"Really, sir?"
"Yes, well, get to work now,"
"Yes, of course, sir, thank you sir."
He fiddled with his fingers, smiling widely. "Finally," he mused. "Maybe I could hold off on that offer for a while…"
Larousse City, Hoenn. 28th July, 2033. 2:35pm.
Drew tapped his foot against the pavement impatiently. "Come on guys, let's just go," he said. Older Dawn shook her head. "Stop being impatient Drew! She could help us track Drew and May. The older ones, of course." she scolded. Drew pouted as May patted his shoulder comfortingly.
Dawn looked around her surroundings and shivered. The trees were all dead, and looked like they'd been burnt in a fire. There were only a couple houses down the road, and they were all a dull grey, and looked like they were about to collapse. This house in particular, happened to be right beside an abandoned factory that had vines growing on the walls. Just looking at it made Dawn squirm.
Paul stepped forward. "Why don't you know their address?" he asked. Older Dawn blinked. "Oh yeah," The group groaned collectively. How could she forget such an important thing? They could've saved so much time! Misty ran a hand through her hair. "Well, we can't go back now, we already told Cordelia we'd meet her here." she reasoned.
Drew let out a loud groan as he slid down the house's wall. A sudden pant caught his attention. He opened one eye and looked to the side. He stood up. "There! I see her!" he shouted gleefully. Said brunette ran up to them, panting. "Hey you guys!" she greeted the, cheerfully.
Leaf, who had dozed off on Gary's shoulder, yawned as she opened her eyes, trying to avoid eye contact with Gary, who seemed just as embarrassed. "Oh, Cordelia, you're here," she spoke in a dry cheerful tone. Cordelia giggled. "Come inside!"
Inside, the house seemed normal, as far as Misty was concerned. Suddenly, the couch shifted. Surprised, she looked over to the couch, which seemed normal. She shrugged. Probably just a fleet of her imagination.
Leaf approached the couch and sat on it. Cordelia put one of her arms around the chair and smirked. She counted down the seconds in her head. 5…4…3…2…1…Now! Sure enough, Rockets jumped up from behind the couches and chairs and tables, infiltrating the room. The group looked around, shocked. Drew snapped his head to Misty. "I told you!" he growled angrily. Misty was on the verge of tears. Ash stepped in. "Hey! She couldn't have known!" he argued.
The rockets tied the group onto a pillar; they couldn't do anything about it, there were too many of them. Cordelia turned to them, smirking victoriously. "Well, well, well," she snickered. "Looks like we need to go over stranger danger again. Hopefully you'll live long enough to go over that again. Wait, you won't!" she cackled. "Let us go!" Drew grunted, as he struggled against the ropes. Cordelia approached him. "Aww…Is witlle Dwewy stwaggling?" She mocked in a baby voice as she circled him. Drew stuck out one of his legs to trip her. It worked.
She fell square on her face, in front of Older Paul, who was holding a frightened Belle. The group couldn't contain their laughter. They burst out laughing, and some of the rockets even chuckled. Cordelia stood up. "Hey! Who did that?!" she hollered childishly, making everyone laugh even harder. "Ugh!" she ran out the door, but not before yelling out an order.
"Make sure they don't go anywhere. 342's promotion depends on it."
