Monday morning after dropping both Ralph and Walter off , Paige made her way back to her own condo . Once back home she first of all phoned the landlord and gave thirty days notice . He asked why she was moving , when she told him she was moving into her fiancé house in Malibu , he told her good look and she was certainly moving to a better location . She then sent a confirmation E-Mail to him . .

She spent a couple of hours getting together items to take , but were not going to be used for some time .

At 11.30am she managed to expel some milk so Walter could feed Megan at lunch time . At 11.50am she left her condo to go and meet Walter .

Walter's office .

Once Walter checked the paperwork on his desk , he made his way down to the workshop . Once there he thanked them again for what they had done over the weekend . He then asked how they were getting on with the design for the larger Water filter .

Sam was first to answer . " Well the basic design is done , alterations maybe necessary once James as sorted out the solar panel and maybe because certain items may be difficult to find . "

Mary then told him costing was underway , but with final details still to be decided on , they could not be completed .

Walter thanked them again and left them to get on with their work . Once back at his desk , he pulled up a search engine on his computer .

After they got home the night before , Paige had found the address for Rosilee , she had given it to him , but not without questioning as to why he wanted it . He had told her he was just curious , as she seemed such a nice lady . He felt this white lie was the same as the one he had told her about the design of the ring , so he felt happy he was not really breaking his promise to tell only the truth .

Within five minutes he had found out Rosilee still lived at the same address and was actually seventy five years old . He had also managed to find her phone number .

He shut down the search engine and took his mobile phone out . He stared at it for a few minutes , playing everything in his mind , should he phone , would Paige actually be pleased or mad that he had contacted Rosilee .

After a further five minutes he punched the number into his phone . He then again just looked at the phone for a couple of minutes before he hit dial .

On the fourth ring a rather weak female voice answered . " Hello ."

" Ms Rosilee Summers ? " Walter asked in a calm quiet voice .

" Yes . "

" Ms Summers , I am sorry to trouble you , but were you friends with a Paige Dineen and her young son Ralph about ten years ago ? " Walter asked trying to remember everything Paige had told him when talking to someone on the phone .

There was silence for about thirty seconds before Rosilee answered . " I was , but may I ask who you are ? "

Walter silently berated himself for not telling her who he was , before asking any questions . " I am so sorry , my name is Walter O'Brian and Paige is my finance , what should I call you ?"

" Good morning Mr O'Brian , I read about some of your exploits and saw Paige worked for your company . Please call me Rosilee . "

" Thank you Rosilee , Paige does not know I am calling you . In fact until yesterday I knew nothing of you . But at the moment Paige and Ralph are living in a small condo in L.A. , while I have a large four bedroom house in Malibu . Over the next few weeks they will be moving into my house and we were talking about what she wanted to bring with her , which is basically personal items . She then told me the one thing she would never leave behind was a skillet pan you gave her when she left San Francisco . She actually broke down in tears , when she realized she should have kept in contact with you . But until I met in 2014 she had it very hard , including sleeping in her car . "

Rosilee had a tear running down her cheek as she listened to Walter . " Oh the poor baby , she was just such a happy person until Drew started to be a real pig to her . She showed so much love towards Ralph , even though everyone else seemed to look down at him , how is he doing ? Does he still not talk to anyone ? "

This bought a big smile to Walter's face . " You would not know him , as soon as I saw him I knew he was different , but not in the way other people thought , I realized he was like me , he as a very high I.Q. The reason I have phoned you is , once Paige and Ralph are settled in the house , would you like to visit us ?"

" That would be marvellous but unfortunately I am not very mobile , I don't think I could travel by bus and airfare would be to expensive . "

" You need not worry about travel , I will arrange all of that . "

" I would really love to see them again and meet you . "

" Right I will phone you once we are settled , could you stay Friday till Monday . "

" Well if you do not think I would be no trouble , I would love that . " Rosilee answered .

Walter could hear a cry in her voice . " Ok Rosilee I will be in touch within about two to three weeks . I look forward to meeting you , goodbye for now . "

With that Walter disconnected the call . He leaned back in his chair , at least that phone call went a lot better than he had expected , he just hoped Paige will be happy . His plan was to fetch Rosilee and tell Paige another white lie , that Richard wanted them to put up a client over the weekend . Then surprise her when he brings Rosilee to the house . He was feeling proud at what he had achieved in such a short time .

He took a few minutes to relax before he went back to a coding job for another division of the company . At 12.30pm he was out of the office block and saw Paige standing there at the side of her car . He rushed over to her pulled her into a hug and kissed her . They enjoyed lunch and Walter fed Megan which pleased both of them .

Wednesday , Paige was waiting as Walter came out , hopefully this would be the last visit to the hospital . When they came out of the doctor's office the news was good . Walter's hand was healing well and did not require anymore dressing . But Walter had been warned not to try to do anything that would damage the new skin , that was growing over his hand . The doctors suggested if he needed to use his hand he was to wear a pair of light weight cotton gloves . Once again once they had left the hospital , they stayed on the car park to eat lunch , again Megan sharing Walter's sandwich as well as a quarter piece of bread covered in spread that Paige had prepared for her .

After dropping Walter off she made her way to pick up Ralph , she knew she would be early but it was not worth going back to Walter's . Once she had picked Ralph up and arrived back at Walter's . She collected all the posters from the garage and spread them out on the kitchen island . In total she had purchased thirty posters of different sizes .

She found the ten largest , which showed Horror movies , plus five smaller ones , that also were for horror movies . The other fifteen were a selection of different films , a mixture of comedies , musicals westerns and romance . The thirty posters had been bought as one lot at the auction . She decided the horror posters were the ones that would be framed , the others maybe thumb tacked to the wall or just left rolled up and left in the movie room . She would make that decision once the Horror posters had been framed and hung in the movie room .

When Walter returned to his office , he found an envelope on his desk , just addressed to the boss . A smile came on his face , the only person who addressed him like that was Sam . He opened the envelope and pulled the contents out , it was a quickly written invoice , with a load of receipts for a total of $500 . He took his cheque book out and wrote a cheque out to Sam , after putting the cheque book away , he went to see Sam and gave her the cheque .

Over the next ten days , Paige had moved the majority over to the house . Mark had installed the seats in the movie room , Ralph had helped move the seats up to the loft . Paige had found someone who could frame the posters and Mark had helped her to Hang them . Mark had given them a quote for the building in the garden , which they had accepted , but because it was a large job it would be the end of the month before he could fit that job in .

The last job that needed doing was to bring Megan's cot over to the house . This they did on Saturday putting it in the back of Walter's Range Rover . That night the little family spent their first night in Walter's , now their house ,together . Walter and Paige christened their new mattress , Paige still struggling to stay quite , as they had decided to have Megan's cot in their room for a couple of nights until she was use to the change .

Ralph was still a little upset as he still had the dressing table in his room and not a desk .

Next day , once the video call with Louise and Sean had finished . Paige wanted to go and do a large food shop to stock up her new kitchen . Ralph and Walter were not keen , so Walter suggested they go and find him a desk , they suggested they take Megan and her stroller .

Walter found a store that sold offices furniture , Ralph found one he liked . The store agreed to deliver it Tuesday . Walter phoned Paige to see how she was doing and arranged to come and join her , but they would wait on the car park until she came out .

Walter and Ralph , together with Megan , who by now was getting a little fractious , Ralph took the stroller out of the back of the car and then removed her from her car seat , strapped her in her stroller and began to push her around the carpark much to her amusement .

" Don't go were I cannot see you . "

" Ok , Dad . " He replied with a big smile on his face . +

It was almost twenty minutes later Walter saw Paige come out of the store , she was pushing a full cart and a member of staff was following her pushing another cart . Her pace quickened as she saw Walter leaving the store employee a few yards behind . As soon as she reached Walter , she released the cart and flung her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss . Walter had to reach out with one hand to stop the shopping cart hitting the Range Rover .

Paige giggled against his lips and just said . " Sorry , I could not resist . "

The young assistant put the other cart by Paige's and turned to return back to the store , Walter called him back , reached into his pocket and pulled out a $5.00 note which he handed to him . " This is for your help . "

" Thank you sir . " He told Walter as he accepted the note , then returned back to the store .

" Do you think you have bought enough food ? " Walter asked her a big smile on his face

" These are only basics really , all your cupboards are bare . Were is Ralph and Megan ? " She asked suddenly realizing they were not around . . "

" Megan was a little upset , so he as taken her a ride in her stroller around the car park , I told him to stay were I could see him . " As he finished speaking , they heard laughter and Ralph and Megan appeared from behind a row of cars , Ralph was pushing her fast , Megan had her arms in the air , all the laughter coming from her .

Megan saw Walter and Paige and began shouting Da, Da, Mo, Mo.

Walter had managed to park just a couple of cars away from Paige's car . They began loading the trunk of Paige's car , once that was full Walter removed Megan from her stroller and put her in her car seat . Ralph climbed in to keep her company , while Paige and Walter put the rest of the items in the back of Walter's car once they had put Megan's stroller in the car .

Twenty minutes later they were pulling up on the drive . Having emptied the cars , Walter and Paige began putting everything away , Megan was in her high chair , watching all that was going on . She suddenly started to make a fist and put it to her mouth .

Ralph who was looking at his tablet when he saw her . " Mom , Megan is hungry . "

Paige left Walter to finish putting away the rest of the items she had purchased , walked over to Megan and gently lifted her out of her highchair . " Ok , little princess , lets go and get you fed .

Paige was really settling down to living in the house . Monday she had prepared her first proper meal in the kitchen, she had been so busy sorting the kitchen out she was only just on time to have lunch with Walter .

Walter had been to Richard to see if he could have Friday and Monday off as personal days . Richard had been only to happy for him to take the time off . Walter felt he deserved an explanation so he told him about Paige and Rosilee Summers and explained about his plan to drive up to San Francisco to pick her up and then drive her back on Monday . Richard immediately told him he would do no such thing as this lady seemed very special to both Paige and Ralph . He would arrange to pick up Walter at home and take him to one of his private jets , so he could fly up there , he would also arrange a car at the other end to take him to pick up Rosilee from her home .

Monday he would arrange for the same but in reverse . He also suggested , he told Paige that he had asked him to go up and visit a client and bring them back with you , as they wanted to visit someone in L.A. Normally he would put them up for the weekend , but due to the fact his chef and housekeeper were away attending a wedding ,which had been arranged some time ago .

Walter was shocked at the offer , but quietly accepted saying . " I doubt she as even been in a private jet , it will add to her experience . I will talk to Paige at lunch time , but I will have to apologise big time for all these white lies I am having to tell her . "

Richard just smiled . " Somehow I am sure she will forgive you. "

Walter filled Paige in on the plan for Friday , although she did not like missing lunch with him that day , she understood due to the fact it was part of his job .

Paige explained it would give her chance to bake some goodies for their guest . Their first guest since they moved in . Once Walter had finished lunch and kissed both Paige and Megan , he went straight to his office to phone Rosilee . She was over the moon at the arrangements , although Walter had not told her anything about the private jet or the limousine .

Tuesday the desk was delivered , but the delivery drivers left it downstairs , Walter had not told them it would be required up stairs . Fortunately It was one that that needed making up so is was just a large box , which she was sure the three of them should be able to manage .

Wednesday , Paige went back to her condo to double check if there was anything left that she wanted to take over to her new home . Once she had seen Walter for lunch and picked up Ralph from school , she again went back to her condo , so Ralph could check if he had left anything he needed to take . He found a few games he had not used for a few years he put them in his back pack , then they both went too the new house . Walter had begun to drive himself to work on his own since Monday after Paige had bought him a few pairs of white cotton gloves .

Thursday , Paige phoned the Salvation Amy again and asked if they could do a house clearance and also collect two doble beds and three mattresses plus two wardrobes , one dressing table and a tub chair . They agreed to collect the items from the house on Tuesday and the house clearance on Wednesday . They would phone her on Friday with collection times .

Friday morning the car pulled up at 9. pick Walter up. Paige stood at the door holding Megan until the car was out of sight . By noon Walter was being driven to Rosilee's apartment , he had phoned her as soon as the jet landed .

He knocked on her door , which opened immediately , she had obviously been waiting in anticipation of his arrival . She appeared to be dressed in her Sunday best , she had a walking stick in her right hand and on the floor next to her left leg was a well worn small brown suitcase .

" Rosilee , I am Walter O'Brian , very pleased to meet you . " Walter told her a smile on his face .

" It is nice to put a face to the voice , I am so excited to see Paige and Ralph again . " Rosilee replied a smile on her face .

" Then we had better be going , Paige knows nothing about your little visit . She thinks I am bringing a client of my boss . "

Walter reached down and picked her suitcase up with his left hand , Rosilee came out of the door , slamming it then checking it was locked .

Walter made an arm so Rosilee could hold onto him , he remembered the first time Paige had shown him how to do it . Once they were at the car he opened the rear door for her and then helped her get in the car , he walked to the rear of the car and put Rosilee's suitcase in the trunk of the car . He then walked to the other rear door and got in beside her .

" Did you drive all the way up here with a driver ". Rosilee asked .

" Not exactly , you will see soon . " Walter replied a big smile on his face

Twenty minutes later the car entered the airport , then drove straight onto the runway and pulled up alongside Richard's jet .

Rosilee looked shocked . " Does this belong to you ? " She managed to say .

" No it belongs to my boss , when I told him why I wanted the today off he insisted I use one of his jets , he also arranged the cars , this one and one the other end . " Walter told her as they sat in the car waiting for the door of the aircraft to open and the steps lowered . As soon as Walter saw the door open in the aircraft he got out of the car and went to the trunk and removed Rosilee's suitcase , he then went to the car door opened it and helped Rosilee out of the car.

By now the steps were down from the aircraft and one of the staff had come down , they immediately took the suitcase off Walter and asked if he needed help with Rosilee .

Walter looked at Rosilee . " Can you manage those steps ? "

Rosilee Looked at him . " To see Paige and Ralph again I would climb Mount Everest . " She told him a somewhat cheeky grin on her face .

" Then please take my arm and lets get going . "

With just a little bit of help from Walter , Rosilee was safely on board . . She asked if she could be shown around the plane before they took off as once they were in the air she would not feel safe walking around .

One of the staff on board , a young lady named Anne , smiled at her and slowly walked her around the plane , even taking her up to the cockpit , to introduce her to the pilot and co-pilot . The captain gave her a quick explanation of the controls , then let her sit in his seat for a few minutes . Once she got back to her seat she was smiling like a young child who had just opened their Christmas presents . Anne made sure she was comfortable in her seat and showed her how to fasten her seat belt and how to work the screen in front of her if she wanted to watch a video from the list in a the small pocket on the back of the seat in front of her .

Once Anne left to take her own seat before take off , Rosilee turned to Walter .. " I am 75 years old and have never flown before , thank you for making this trip so special . "

Walter smiled at her . " I would do anything to make sure Paige is happy , so I would do it for anyone who is that close to Paige . "

" You are a good man Walter O'Brian . "

Walter smiled at her , but did not say anything .

They heard the pilot over the intercom to tell them they would be moving to the main runway to take off , so please fasten your seat belts . Rosilee was still excited , but suddenly grabbed Walter's hand as the plane began to move . Although Walter was uncomfortable holding Rosilee's hand , he just thought of Paige and accepted it .

Once in the air , she released Walter's hand and began to tell Walter just how badly Drew had treated Paige and how once Ralph had been born , he would disappear for days on end and when he returned he was usually drunk and smelling of woman's perfume . She told him how she would come over to see her and would cry herself to sleep . She would sometimes ask her to look after Ralph , but all Ralph would do was to stare straight ahead , which made her think there was something really wrong with him .

Walter told her . " There was something wrong , he was locked in his own mind , because he is a genius . I spotted it as soon as I saw him , I was treated much the same , except by my sister , Megan . You will not recognize him today , he can interact with people and will be graduating from college next year , hopefully with honours . "

Rosilee could not believe it , Walter was sure if she could get out the plane and push it to make it go faster she would ..

They were landing at 3.00pm . Once they had landed ,Walter phoned Paige to tell her they would be home around 3.45p. Paige had just picked up Ralph from college and expected to be home by 3.30pm . having said goodbye Walter put his phone away .

They stayed on board until 3.15pm. to make sure they arrived home after Paige .

At 3.50pm the car pulled up outside the house . Paige must have been waiting by the door , because as Walter got out of the car , she opened the front door with Megan in her arms .

Walter took Rosilee suitcase out of the trunk , then opened the car door and helped his special guest out of the car .

Paige looked then did a double take , let out a loud squeal and shouted . " ROSILEE ! "

Masikka When the loft was divided up it was agreed Walter and Ralph would decide what went into the computer room . The movie room was Paige's decision on what would be put into it , she could not see the sense in over spending on something that will not really be seen .

Pearligirl well all that is really left to tackle is the jungle , sorry garden . I hope your fork and spade and chainsaw are in good working order .
