In our world, humanity has evolved in unbelievably new and exciting ways. Our world is now a "superhuman society" where everyone has a special meta ability exclusive to them. Over time, these powers became to be known as "Quirks" and with them came the beginning of the term "Hero" became an exciting new career choice for those who wanted to help protect our superhuman society from those who would try to threaten it. With Quirks as their means of fighting back against this evil, history has produced some of the most incredible Heroes ever known around the world. But no one was able to hold a commanding presence better than our Symbol of Peace, the Hero we all know as All Might…

My name is Izuku Midoriya…and I was chosen to become the next Symbol of Peace by All Might, the hero I idolized so much of my childhood. But, a little backstory may be necessary to understand how massive this all was. I was born Quirkless, that is to say…I was one of the exceedingly rare children to be born without any kind of special ability of my own. Because of it, I spent a majority of my life being ridiculed, bullied or laughed at because of my dreams of becoming a Hero, even from my childhood friend Kacchan. But all that changed when I had a once in a million chance encounter with All Might…and he told me words that I never thought I'd hear…

"Young man…you TOO can become a Hero!"

In me, he confided the truth about his power. Like me, he too was born Quirkless but was able to inherit the torch in a long line of wielders blessed with an amazing power. It's name was One For All…and, now, it was my turn. I then became a student at the world renowned school for producing amazing Heroes: U.A. High. Along the way, I made many new friends as well as rivals such as Kacchan and Todoroki, all of us fighting hard to become the next era of Pro Heroes. But its ups came with its downs as, not only did All Might eventually retire, but criminals were on the rise and banded together to form the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki and All For One, whose power had the capabilities of stealing other people's Quirks. By inheriting One For All from All Might, I was soon the sole focus of All For One's attention: his endgoal being to take One For All for himself, a power once given to his younger brother. Eventually, things descaled into all-out war between the Heroes and Villains with All For One at the front. Things sometimes looked bleak for the future of our world but we were all able to pull together and, as a team, brought down All For One and his amassed army of Villains.

It has been about fifteen years and my classmates and I have graduated from being students to fully licensed Pro Heroes, staying true to the lessons and beliefs of our teachers as well as keeping the hope All Might brought alive. I think…it's about time you see what's become of me, the hopeless "hero fanboy" chosen to become the next Symbol of Peace…

MY HERO ACADEMIA: Second Years
Prologue: I Am Here! Izuku Midoriya!

~ Shizuoka Prefecture | Musutafu, Japan ~

A sudden explosion went off outside of a parking garage near the local mall, the blast sending a shockwave across the city. All eyes were drawn to the rising smokestack in the distance as, at the scene of the attack, people were left panicked and afraid of what had transpired. From atop the roof of the parking garage, a small group of identically dressed figures stood and looked down at the masses with glee. Their leader, a large bodied Villain dressed in black, maniacally laughed.

"There we go! Now THAT'S what I wanted to hear!" he exclaimed "Good job planting the bombs, boys. But we're not done yet." He glanced to one of his partners, wearing a welding mask over his face, lightly giggling before pulling out a remote and pressed a button. Another explosion just as massive went off on the next floor down, leaving the debris and rubble falling down and crushing the cars beneath. The group had armed multiple bombs along the walls of each floor, ready to be denoated at a hair's notice. Just then, one of the witnesses down below gasped in shock after using his phone's camera to zoom in on the group atop.

"T-That's the Dynamite Pack! A-And their leader, Eruptor!" he called out.

"Wait. Aren't they that crazy cult of explosive specialists?!" a woman followed "W-What are they doing here?!" From up high, Eruptor laughed.

Kajima Inobu - Villain Name: Eruptor
Quirk: Explosive Touch
Anything this big brute gets his hands onto becomes a weapon of destruction, transforming its properties into a highly explosive bomb that detonates after he discards it! In other words, YYEEOOWW! This guy's got an endless supply of grenades at his mitts!

"You think we NEED a reason to DO what we DO?!" he screamed "All we want is DESTRUCTION! And whether you like it or not, diss our name and you're ASH!" With a sadistic smirk, he nodded to another of his goons before being passed a large ball decaled with an explosive symbol. His hands briefly shined red from his palms as the ball became enveloped by the reddish glow over hs head.

"C'mon everybody! Time to have a REAL BLAST!" Erupter proclaimed before volleying the ball down towards the crowd. But just as he did, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a brilliant green bolt of lightning racing his way. It ricocheted off each of the nearby buildings and then made a beeline for his explosive. A voice was then heard before the ball was suddenly sent rocketing into the skies, whooshing past the villains.

"SMASH!"

All eyes followed the ball as it soon exploded in a fiery blast high in the sky. Eruptor angrily looked down and saw that the deflector was a young adult Izuku MIdoriya, clad in his green Hero uniform and covered by a thin veil of crackling energy.

"W-WHUH?!" a henchmen gasped. They all rushed to Eruptor's side.

"Deku…" Eruptor muttered under his breath.

Izuku Midoriya - Hero Name: Deku
Quirk: One For All
Japan's new Symbol of Peace who wields a power cultivated over a lifetime of other heroes! Not just the power to blow anything away with a Smash, this shining star's got seven MORE Quirks at his disposal! But…what do ya expect from the successor of All Might AND the pride of U.A?! 'Attaboy, Deku!

He confidently looked up with a big grin before suddenly disappearing before their eyes.

"BOSS! Wasn't tha-?!" another asked before suddenly being blindsided across the face. Just as he hit the ground, the rest of the grunts were being knocked out with a single strike like a chain of dominos. Eruptor watched everything unfold in absolute shock, his anger now on the rise.

"Damn it, Deku! Show yourself, you WUSS!" he proclaimed, unaware that Izuku materialized behind him with leg drawn back. Without much warning, as Eruptor looked over his shouler, Izuku suddenly came at his side with a roundhouse kick. The blow sent him rocketing across the rooftop before landing with a hard thud. He quickly recovered from the attack and stood up, angrily glaring towards Izuku standing in the middle of his unconscious followers. On his back flowed a medium sized yellow cape, honoring his late mentor Gran Torino, while he sported the same emblem as All Might across his chest. Over the multiple years of training and honing his abilities, Izuku's body was now a less massive equivalent to All Might's but still packing as powerful a punch. Eruptor growled as he soon saw Izuku's confident smile flashed his way.

"What are you doing here, you little twerp?!" he exclaimed.

"What's wrong, Eruptor? I thought you'd be happy to see me?" Izuku asked before his smile devolved to a look of disappointment "But I see the time you and your "followers" spent in prison or therapy didn't help you or your short fuse." While still overcome with anger, Eruptor slowly grew a smirk.

"What did you expect? You think you can change ALL of us with your sympathetic crap?! I LOVE to destroy things and that's what I'm gonna do until the day I die! So save that crap for someone who actually gives a yen!" he shouted. But it seems his proclamation didn't reach Izuku's ears, the hero sighing heavily while rubbing his forehead.

"Do you have any idea how hard it was for me to talk the judge into suggesting therapy for your sentence? You don't know how stubborn she can be…not as stubborn as Kacchan, but even so." he continued with his monologue. Angered by Izuku's non-chalant act, Eruptor snarled louder before grabbing another blast bomb.

"HEY! PAY ATTENTION TO ME, DAMN BRAT!" he roared. But before he could throw it, the bomb was effortlessly blown out of his grip by Izuku using Air Force with his right hand. Eruptor was left briefly motionless as the bomb let out a relatively smaller size explosion.

"Excuse me? I was TALKING!" Izuku retorted. Eruptor's temper flared up more, gritting his teeth with a hateful snarl.

"Oh! THAT'S IT! GET OVER HERE!" he roared, charging towards him with his fists radiating red. His charge was now embedded into his hands, coming at Izuku with a ferocious stream of punches. But not only did Izuku manage to avoid each punch, he used Float to take a large leap into the air before sporting Black Whip to ensnare him. Shortly after, he kicked forward with Air Force before swinging Eruptor over his shoulder and slammed against the ground by the whips. The villain growled more.

"Do you surrender yet?" Izuku asked. Eruptor growled, his whole beginning to glow brightly before he erupted with a beastly roar, freeing himself from Black Whip and forcing Izuku back. The villain took his freedom to catch his breath as the remains of Black Whip squirmed around Izuku's knuckles.

"You might've gotten here in impressive time, "Hero", but ain't no way you gonna be fast enough…" Eruptor said, pulling out another remote detonator "..to stop me from blasting the ENTIRE MALL INTO RUBBLE! See…we didn't just plant bombs in the complex below us. I PERSONALLY set up my own "little surprise" and left 'em by where they'll cause the most destruction." Izuku's eyes narrowed as he readied Black Whip once again. But the sight of Eruptor hovering his thumb over one of the buttoms stopped him.

"Yeah! That's right! You take one more step…and all the "innocent idiots" inside are gonna be buried alive! Ya want THAT on your record, Symbol of Peace?!" he yelled "If you're smart, then beat it!" Izuku groaned.

"Not good. I thought I could've worn him down into sumbission quickly with a quick combo of my Quirks. But he's no pushover. What now?" Izuku thought. Suddenly, another stream of explosions could be heard close by, but in a more repetitive pattern. Eruptor gasped.

"Wait a sec…that ain't the sound of one of mine." he thought, turning his head to see Bakugo, also known as Dyna Might, rocketing his way with the nitro glycerin sweat on his palms.

"K-Kacchan?!" Izuku gasped.

Katsuki Bakugo - Hero Name: Dyna Might
Quirk: Explosion
Definitely not a Hero you wanna get on the wrong side of! That is, unless you WANT a taste of the nitroglycerine sweat he packs in his gauntlets! That's how he is able to set off such dangerous explosions! This hothead has been Deku's rival since they both started U.A!

"So…it's THIS bastard again?! Didn'y you learn anything last time, MORON?!" he proclaimed. With no time to react, Bakugo easily closed the distance before unleashing a massive blast from his gauntlet in Eruptor's face. It caused him to throw the remote away as he was sent flying back again, almost thrown off the roof because of it. The airborne remote was quickly secured thanks to Black Whip as Bakugo landed in front of Izuku as they exchanged glances at one another.

"What? You got somethin' to say, nerd?" he asked. The silence was soon broken by Izuku snickering to himself, Bakugo raising a brow.

"Wow. Never thought I'd see the day I'd get to a crime scene before you…Kacchan." he said.

"Tch! Oh shut it, Deku. You know there are OTHER crimes you could be using One For All for. Leave "imitations" like this guy to ME next time!" Bakugo replied, pointing a finger at him. Eruptor groaned while climbing back on the roof by the hand gripping onto the ledge. But just as he was on solid ground, Bakugo's attention turned his way as he marched his way with a growl. Just then, a faint beeping came from an earpiece settled nicely in Izuku's left ear.

Deku: Kaminari? Jiro? Everything okay inside?

Earphone Jack: Yeah. We were able to find the bombs and left them to the Bomb Squad to defuse. As for the other shoppers, we managed to get them out beforehand. Heh. Looks like your gut was right about this. I didn't think you knew this "Eruptor" guy so well.

Chargebolt: Yeah. But, right now, our "Bakugo Wanna-Be's" got nothing to his name. There won't be anymore explosions today. What about the parking garage though? Is everything okay there?

Deku: Everything's under control here. And if I'm right, Uraraka and the others should be clearing out the rubble and helping anyone. I'm going there now.

Chargebolt: Wait. You already took him out? Jeez, Midoriya. I knew you were a BEAST when it came to One For All, but I didn't think you were THAT ruthless to somebody as pathetically brass as this guy.

Izuku momentarily glanced towards Eruptor, now at the mercy of Bakugo's anger. While they talked, Dyna Might had been pummeling him with explosive packed punches across his face to vent his frustration.

"Uhhh…let's say Kacchan's "got this". He's a bit mad I got here before he did…and he needs to vent." Izuku chuckled "Thanks for going ahead, guys." Finishing his call, he then asked Bakugo if he could watch Eruptor until the police arrived. It didn't seem like that would happen, however, as Bakugo was still pounding away at Eruptor's limping body. Izuku took this as things handled before moving out, Bakugo's angry shouting still in ear shot.

How many times have I told ya to STOP. COPYING. MY. THING?! YOU BOMB SPOUTIN' BASTARD!

~ Midoriya Residence - Late Afternoon ~

After snuffing out Eruptor's bombing run, Izuku spent more of the afternoon helping with lower leveled crimes and cooperating with the officers to try and improve the criminal watch. He then made a visit to his agency office, repurposed from the remains of Nighteye's agency while having Centipeder and Bubble Girl as his aides to watch things if he had to leave. When his work day was over and the sun was just now beginning to set over the city, he retired to his home nestled in a quaint neighborhood not far from his agency. Unlike his apartment that he grew up in with his mother, Inko, his new home was a proper sized singular family building with a slightly slanted roof with windows perfect for stargazing at night.

"Ochaco? I'm home." he said while removing his shoes at his front door. To his surprise, the house was relatively quiet without not even the noise of the television or even a radio. The lights were off as well.

"Huh…strange. Is she running errands? Or did something come up?" he muttered "No. It couldn't be that. If she still had Hero work, she would've texted me." He took a quick glance at his cell phone and brought up his chat thread with Uraraka. Just like he thought, there was nothing from Uraraka saying she was going to be late. After setting his cape over a chair in the kitchen, he made his way upstairs for a shower and momentary rest in his bed, worn down from his active day as a Hero. But to his surprise, when he opened the bedroom door to change, he saw his wife sleeping quietly on a pillow in their bed.

"Oh. Guess she had the same idea as me." he chuckled softly. He gently closed the door behind him before beginning to slowly tiptoe over to the bedside. He then plonked himself down by his wife's side, his eyes on her slumbering expression. Memories of their days as students at U.A. as well as other major important instances, including their wedding day, passed through his head while he rubbed her hair. To him, the best thing that he ever accomplished since becoming a Hero was saving the courage to propose to her. His heart filled with happiness, Izuku slowly leaned over and gently kissed her cheek, her soft snoring gracing his ears.

"I'm home…Ochaco." he whispered. Afterwards, he stretched his arms out above his head and stood up to visit the shower. But he soon felt something grasping onto his wrist, halting him in his tracks. He glimpsed back and saw, with eyes partially squinted open, his wife's gaze on him.

"Where are you going...honey?" she giggled. Izuku sighed and shook his head before seating himself again.

"Were you faking it this whole time?" he asked. Ochaco softly chuckled while shifting herself around under the covers, sitting herself upright.

"No. Not until I heard...you calling my name." she replied "Welcome home, Deku." He wasn't sure if her sudden flirty side was a result of her exhaustion, but he couldn't keep his eyes off the warmth radiating from it. They were both blushing as they slowly touched foreheads and simply glimpsed into each other's eyes, the pair sharing a quick kiss.

"If you're still tired, don't worry. Let me worry about dinner tonight. You rest up, okay?" Izuku whispered. But Ochaco suddenly shook her head before putting her arms around Izuku's neck, hugging him softly.

"Nuh uh. Not unless…you stay here and keep me company. Don't tell me you forgot, Deku? You may be everyone's Hero...their "Symbol of Peace". But...when you're home with me...you're my "hero" and mine alone." she muttered before sneaking a cheek peck. Izuku was left speechless, staring back at her smiling face before sighing to himself.

"Okay. Maybe…we can call for pizza later." he said "You're right, though. I can't forget...about my cute wife." Ochaco giggled.

"Yay…" she said. She slowly withdrew her arms as Izuku found his own comfortable spot besides her, slipping under the covers. Soon, the warmth of the sheets and his wife's love caused the Symbol of Peace to begin drifting off as well, his fatigue catching up. But before conking out, he slipped one arm under her pillow as to embrace her while they overlapped hands in the middle, the two hands wearing their wedding rings. Both blushed once more before drifting to sleep.

So, yeah. This is what the life of Izuku Midoriya is now. I achieved my dreams and inherited All Might's title, I was able to graduate U.A. with my friends..and, to top it all off, I married the most beautiful and loving girl I ever could've met. But…the story I want to tell you now has nothing to do with me but instead…another Hero destined for greatness in his own ways. This…is the beginning of my successor's story…the tenth wielder of One For All…

~ Unnamed Secret Laboratory | Somewhere Outside Japan's Main Island ~

Sirens were going off, red lights blaring across the walls of the hallway and rooms lined with blood and destroyed lab equipment and furnishings overturned. Most of the scients still roaming the halls were fleeing with only fear in their eyes. But as chaos reigned, a pair of child sized figures used the panic as an attempt to escape the facility and reach the main island. Both were skinny in stature but were differentiated by their hair color, one a solid blonde and the other was pale white. Suddenly, the blond hair child tripped over his own feet and fell flat on his face. The other stopped and quickly hurried back to him, offering him a hand.

"A-Are you okay, brother?" he asked. The blond boy nodded.

"Y-Yeah. I'm okay. Sorry, bro. My legs…they're just really sore. That's all." he replied "But…we're so close. Gotta keep going. This might be our ONLY chance at freedom." With a nod, the duo continued their escape but were soon halted in their tracks by the sounds of a high pitched scream from a nearby room. What followed next was the sounds of glass breaking and more equipment being destroyed. They simultaneously gulped, looks of fear overwhelming them both.

"S-Should we…?" the white haired child asked. Despite knowing this could lead to more trouble, they slowly approached the door outside and peeked around the corner. What they witnessed was another laboratory being laid to ruin, a pair of broken glasses on the ground near a slender built creature holding the scientist by his neck and raised into the air. The boys knew who this was, the head scientist of the entire facility. And the slender figure, skin as pale white as a ghost, was one of their "siblings". He silently looked on at the scientist, his bright red eyes brimming with hate and malice, while he gasped for air. The scientist's legs flailed around in a panic.

A-Alpha…w-what…WHY are you doing this?! I..I created you! Did you FORGET that?! If…If not for ME, you'd…be nothing but a embryo floating…in a test tube!

The slender white figure laughed to himself as he rose the scientist up higher.

"Why" you ask? It's easy, Professor. You've been living your cushy life for long enough. While you had us fend for ourselves, left to slaughter each other just for SURVIVAL, you simply observed behind your glass walls. Taking note of EVERY LITTLE ACTION we made...all the while making me despise you MORE and MORE. If you ask me…

Alpha's grip grew tighter around the scientist's neck, his gasps for air shortening by the second.

I think it's time…your "lab rats" took things…into their hands. But don't fret. The rest of YOUR KIND…will be close behind!

Letting out an ear piercing shriek, the brothers eyes shrank and withdrew around the corner, covering their ears out of fear. As all this happened, Alpha had mercilessly ran his other hand clean through him, instantly taking the professor's life before letting his body flop to the ground. Alpha looked down at his bloodied hand and arm, focusing on a small hole in the palm of his hand while the blood dripped off his fingers.

But…I suppose I should thank you for "lending" me your Quirk. Don't worry. I'll make sure it's put to good use, along with all the rest you granted me. If you're watching me from Hell in the far future...then bear witness as your "creation" puts your Quirk to better use than human FILTH like you could imagine.
