A story created by Proximatic / Dan. A crossover between Hyperdimension Neptunia and Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins).

. . .

After being confronted by the Goddess of Planeptune and the Serpent Sin of Envy, Gowther uses his magical power to incapacitate most of the people in the Kingdom of Liones, all barring Neptune.

However, Gowther was quickly subdued thanks to the efforts of Diane and Neptune, and showed regret for his actions, that being his memory altering of Guila and Zeal for his own benefit.

After a quick arrival from Slader, one of the members of Dawn Roar, he was quickly instructed to take care of Gowther, whom Merlin used her Absolute Cancel spell on in order to temporarily revert him to his original form; a doll.

Meliodas' seemingly blunt and rude words sent Elizabeth into a small fit of depression as she storms outside, but she is quickly comforted and reassured by Slader.

We continue from where we last left off. . .

Zyoon. . .

Merlin's magical spell ball is reacting to something mysterious; the myriad of waves inside of it are showing rapid shifts in position and the spell ball is glowing with a light violet radiance. Small sparks of lightning burst from the orb and gently graze the skin of the two Sins inside the tavern, giving them a minute jolt through their bodies. Merlin, in accordance, gasped slightly as she has rarely ever seen this instance occur before. Slader and Elizabeth walk back inside the tavern after hearing the noises.

"What's going on, Elder Sister?"

". . .Danchō, we're changing our initial plan. We're heading straight to the royal capital of Camelot. I've just detected an abnormal surge and presence of magical power, unlike many I've seen before. This isn't ordinary."

"You think Hendrickson may still be kicking around there, then? Camelot is to the south, after all. . ."

"We can't say for certain unless we head there in-person to find out what this sudden burst of magical power is for ourselves. We'll be heading there immediately."

"I-immediately? But we don't even know what we're going up against!"

"That's exactly why we're paying a visit to Camelot, Diane."

As the Boar Hat tavern comes enveloped in a pink, fiery aura, Merlin snaps her fingers and transports both the Boar Hat and some of the ground beneath it to an area near Camelot.

Kingdom of Camelot — Kingdom Walls

Standing in front of the walls of the Kingdom of Camelot is a giant, round, and marble-white monster with splotches of what appears to be moss littered around various parts of its body, ranging from its head to its torso and back, to its arms. It was unlike any creature that anyone had ever seen before. Its eyes appeared to be x-shaped with red dots for pupils in the middle. The monster tightened its fist and took a step forward, coming just a few dozen meters from touching the walls.

Within the walls, a ginger-haired boy with gold-plated armor and a frosty-white cape walks up the steps to the top of the walls as multiple Holy Knights await him there, standing by for orders.

"King Arthur! The Holy Knights with long-distance magical powers are now in position!"

The royal boy, named Arthur Pendragon, turns the corner and holds his sword by the handle, unsheathing it from its scabbard and staring up at the marble giant monster, pointing its sharpened edge at it.

"Be ready to counter that mysterious Giant!"

The Holy Knights around Arthur looked up and to the right, gasping and quivering in confusion. Something in their sight must have caught their attention.

"King Arthur! Look up in the sky!"

Arthur first looks left, but then eventually looks right. To his shock, in the sky was. . .an enormous, flying, green pig resembling Hawk which contained the entire Boar Hat on its back!

"A-a flying pig?!"

This green pig was the Hawk Mama, presumably Hawk's mother although the difference in size and color is both. . .er. . .drastic and illogical, to say the least. Hawk Mama, when resting, burrows into the ground and eventually starts moving when asked to.

The flying Hawk Mama slowly approaches the monster as its attention is directed to the green pig having entered its peripheral view. The Sins, Neptune, Elizabeth, and Slader all step outside of the Boar Hat to get a good look at the monster for themselves. Noticing its size, Hawk comments on it,

"What is that giant, mountain-like thing?! How many times bigger is it than Mama?!"

"I don't know of anyone in the Giant race like that," Diane exclaimed as her hair wavered with the wind, staring into the monster's crimson-red circles. Its magical power felt ominous and dreadful, similar to the magical power that Meliodas exhibited in his battle against Neptune the other day after activating his Demonic powers.

"I'm detecting multiple magical reactions in its body, but I can't find any vital signs. It appears to be some kind of golem," Merlin states as her spell ball levitates over her hand.

"Yeah. That's a Great Beast Albion," Meliodas said.

"An Albion? Does that mean it's a one-of-a-kind?" Neptune inquired, looking at Meliodas.

"You're thinking of albino. . .but I guess it wouldn't be wrong to say that. This thing's a weapon created by the Demon race during the time of the Holy War. It must've reawakened alongside the Ten Commandments after they were unsealed," the blonde explained, giving a bit more insight as to what an Albion is.

"The Ten Commandments?"

"I'll explain it all later."

"It's like reliving the same nightmare over and over again," Slader said, continuing with, "the sheer drive I'm sensing from that thing is the definition of malice. It's the same level as when Hendrickson turned into that monster!"

Hawk then begins to start sweating and speaking in a scared tone.

"N-no way! Meliodas' Power Level is 3,370, and even Merlin's is 4,710. . .but that thing. . .its Power Level is 5,500! On the dot!"

The Albion then turns its body in the direction of the group and Hawk Mama, before letting out an absurdly malicious roar at them, sending powerful soundwaves across the sky and pushing against them.

"Woah—! Its bloodlust is overpowering!" Arthur said, planting his feet firmly into the stone of the walls to keep himself from flying away.

"So, it's reacting to our Power Levels, huh?" Merlin said with a smile.

The Albion raises its clenched fist high into the sky and a bit above its body, pulling it back a bit before throwing it down, attempting to swat Hawk Mama and the group out of the sky. But Hawk Mama was able to move out of the way of its trajectory fast enough, and instead, the Albion hit a barrier surrounding the entirety of Camelot, causing a pushback reaction with powerful lightning striking all over. The Holy Knights of Camelot and Arthur watched in awe as the barrier saved them from being attacked.

"Throwing up a magic-blocking wall in the case of an attack was the right call, it seems."

"Wow! Enveloping the entire city in a barrier; that's my Elder Sister, alright!"

"You must have a full inventory of magical power reserved if you can throw up a barrier that wide and have it be able to withstand an attack from that thing, Merlin!" Neptune excitedly said, being meta like usual.

"Though, with that said, covering a range this wide weakens its defensive effects. I'd say it only has around two hits left."

As the Albion cups its hands together, closing them into a larger ball, it raises its arms once more, slamming its fist against the barrier once, and then doing so again shortly after. The barrier fades, as just like Merlin said, it could only reasonably withstand two more attacks from a beast of this caliber.

"Just like that, it's gone."

"No way!"

As Arthur Pendragon once more points his sword towards the Albion, he shouts out the commands for the Holy Knights to fire at the Albion.

"Aerial magic, barrage! Don't let Camelot sustain even an inch of damage!"

Taking a breath in, the Albion leans forward and starts spewing a huge fire beam, to which the Holy Knights responded by individually shooting out beams of various elements to counter the attack, causing a stalemating explosion as a result. The explosion pushed the Albion back a little bit, seeing as its own attack exploded right in front of it and within close vicinity to it as well, but it remained undamaged. Though, so did Camelot.

"Enemy fire, neutralized!"

"Great work, Holy Knights!"

"But we can't withstand the next one! We've used too much of our magical power to counter just that one attack!"

The Albion took another deep breath in, with the wind visibly moving into its mouth as its upper body violently glowed with fiery energy. Its mouth started to form another breath attack in front of it; a much more powerful one at that.

"Merlin! Send me over there now!"

Raising her hand and pointing it at Meliodas, the Boar Sin of Gluttony snaps her fingers and instantly warps Meliodas to the castle walls. The Albion unleashed its breath attack, prompting Arthur to order everyone to step back.

"Everyone, retreat!"

He was utterly helpless as he stood there and stared up at the oncoming attack, until. . .

CHING!

The Albion's attack was suddenly pushed back on itself, engulfing it in a barrage of fire around twice the size of what it originally was, generating an awesomely powerful explosion that damaged the Albion's face extensively. The group on top of Hawk Mama, barring Merlin, shielded themselves from the pure power of the attack's explosion shockwave blasting against them, throwing Elizabeth slightly off-balance, prompting Neptune to grab her arm and keep her standing up.

"Nishishi. . .! Score!"

The Holy Knights stared up at the smoky aftermath in confusion. The attack being reflected was such a sudden instance that they didn't have time to process what happened. But Arthur knew right off the bat what was going on.

"Wh-what happened?!"

"A miracle?"

"N-no. . .this is his power, Furukauntā (Full Counter)!"

Full Counter, an innate technique of Meliodas' that can reflect any magic attack and amplify its power by at least twofold. Any magic attack can be reflected regardless of strength, be it weak or extremely powerful, and it will work no matter what Meliodas' Power Level may be.

"Yo! How've you been, Arthur?" Meliodas nonchalantly asks as he appears to the side of the King of Camelot. Arthur turned left, and with a spirit-filled smile on his face, he saw the Dragon Sin of Wrath right before his eyes.

"Sir Meliodas!"

Turning back to face his comrade, Meliodas gave a 'peace' sign to Merlin.

"Your timing couldn't have been any better! Nice job, Merlin!"

The Boar Sin chuckles at the compliment and then proceeds to look at Slader.

"Slader. Take the princess inside quickly and keep her safe. I'm going to be steering rather erratically."

"As you wish, Elder Sister. . .but where's Neptune?"

"Huh?"

As Merlin turned to where Neptune was standing before, she noticed that the CPU of Planeptune was completely absent.

"Lady Neptune?!" Elizabeth shouts out in concern.

"Sanjūni-X Bureido (32-X Blade)!"

As a large 32-X Blade falls from the sky and lands on the Albion's shoulder, it explodes into a rising column of violent energy, piercing its shoulder and throwing it off-balance. The loss of balance caused the Albion to kneel down with a hand flat against the ground, leaving it open to be attacked.

"Thanks, Nep! Let's go!"

Jumping from the kingdom walls and onto its hand, Meliodas starts running up the arm of the marble beast. Arthur and the other Holy Knights watch, but the former decides,

"Everyone! Follow Sir Meliodas!"

The warriors of Camelot thus follow Meliodas, jumping onto the Albion's hand and then starting to run up its arm as it stared down, looming over everyone like a colossus.

"An Albion's weak point is its core, buried deep within its chest! Let's run up there and destroy it in a single blow!"

Continuing to climb up the gargantuan arm of the Albion, Meliodas seems to be far ahead of Arthur and the Holy Knights. But instead of focusing on the Dragon Sin, the Albion puts its attention towards the Camelot fighters, raising its hand and eventually smashing it against its arm, trapping Arthur in its grip. Meliodas noticed this, prompting him to turn around and jump down to try and save his comrade. However, from high in the sky, Neptune comes zooming down, landing on the arm of the Albion and lightly slashing up its fingers using her Mecha-Nep Blade — a sword specifically designed to bring out the full power of Neptune — in tandem with Meliodas' shortsword.

"Uwah?!"

Arthur was released from the Albion's grip and started falling, but was quickly caught by Meliodas, who dug his sword into the beast's arm with his sword to slow his momentum and get the King of Camelot back on his feet. Shards of Meliodas' shortsword fell down and clinked against the Albion and careened to the earth beneath them.

"You saved me, Sir Meliodas. . .but your cherished sword. . .!"

"Oh. Looks like it broke," he says in a relaxed tone.

"Please forgive me. Because of my recklessness, your cherished sword is—. . ."

"Don't worry, bud. It's all right. It was already pretty banged up in the fight against Hendrickson."

"Buuut, Meliodas, without a weapon. . ."

"Saaate, sate, sate. . .what am I gonna do now?"

"Everyone move!" Neptune shouted as the Albion's fist came flying in to attack the group. Thankfully, everyone managed to get out of the way in time, with Meliodas landing further up the arm, Neptune somehow landing on the other arm, and Arthur and the Camelot Holy Knights landing back on the kingdom walls.

"Danchō!" Merlin yelled from high up in the sky atop Hawk Mama. Meliodas turned his attention to the Boar Sin.

"Putting aside whether or not I should return "that" to you, for now, let me give this back to you!"

Merlin snapped her fingers, and from the sky, a weapon came spinning down. Grabbing it by the handle, it was coated in a pure white light until it eventually revealed a shortsword!

This weapon appeared to be a curved shortsword with the Dragon Sin tattoo emblem embedded into its hilt and five holes along the middle of the sharp blade, and five half-moon holes along the other side of the blade. The blade is split into two different colors, the sharp part is silver and the opposite is a dark green moss, whereas the hilt was gold-plated, and the handle was green with gold squares along the center.

"Jingi: Rosutovein (Sacred Treasure: Lostvayne)!"

"Woah! That's Meliodas' Sacred Treasure? That thing looks totally epic!" Neptune said in an enthusiastic manner.

"Ten years ago, after you sold it to a pawnbroker in Camelot for the tavern funds, I bought it back for you. And I'm charging serious interest," Merlin said in a sarcastic tone, teleporting Meliodas' broken sword into her hand and latching onto it.

"Danchō's Sacred Treasure? You had it this whole time, Merlin?"

"The expense was rather high, though."

As he brushed his sword against the mossy half of Lostvayne's blade, Meliodas took a deep breath and recited the words,

". . .Jingi, Kaihō."

Meliodas' body then pulsed with power as he looked towards Neptune with a smile on his face. It seems like he had an idea in mind, and Neptune also had the same thought.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Oohoh. . .let's give it a shot!"

"What was that? For a moment, Sir Meliodas' body. . ."

As both Neptune and Meliodas ran up the arms of the Albion, the latter of the two was fired at by the Albion's flame breath, to which Meliodas used another Full Counter to reflect the attack at the Albion, but the beast moved its head such that the flame breath barely grazed its body. The pair dashed high up and along the arm of the Albion, to which they both say,

"Now!"
"Now!"

They both swung their swords, resulting in the arms of the Albion being heavily damaged in six spots on each side. They leaped up to the front of the Albion, and moments later, its arms were split into various segments that fell to the ground.

"That was so fast. . .those swords must be unbelievably sharp and powerful," Arthur commented. "They chopped up that giant beast's arms in a single duo stroke!"

The Albion let out a monstrous roar as it grew five horns from its head; two resting on its shoulder and three positioned in various positions around its head.

"Woah! It's growing all these weird appendages!"

"Oh? So it learned from Danchō's Full Counter."

The holes in the horns started to glow and charge up energy; blue sparks ran down the bases of the horns with power flowing through them extensively. Both Neptune and Meliodas were still positioned in front of the Albion, waiting for it to launch its attack.

"No way! Is it going to fire all five at once?!" Arthur shouted out.

"It's no good! Even Danchō can't handle that many attacks on his own!"

Neptune and Meliodas chuckled. From Meliodas' body came four other Meliodases, each splitting off into the four diagonal directions around him. As Neptune formed a small ball of frigid energy in her hand — a sphere of energy made of the Ice Element [1] — she broke it off into five different pieces, each of them becoming infused with the Meliodases' Lostvaynes. The swords were now imbued with the power of ice. The Albion fired its attack from its five horns, with the area lighting up like the sun, until the five Meliodases and Neptune yelled out!

"Gōgi! Sabuzerokauntā (Combined Technique: Sub-Zero Counter)!"
"Gōgi! Sabuzerokauntā (Combined Technique: Sub-Zero Counter)!"

CHING!

The Albion's attacks were reflected at itself, but now, as a result of the power of the Ice Element being imbued within the Lostvayne's, Full Counter turned the attack into a frigid beam of ice, freezing the entire upper portion of the beast. The ice formed from the Combined Technique was long and sharp like enormous icicles, and thus they were elongated until they violently and powerfully exploded into thousands upon thousands of ice chunks and shards, sending out multiple shockwaves with power and coldness pulsating from the combustion.

Everyone atop Hawk Mama couldn't help but gaze and look on with shock and awe at the strength of Neptune and Meliodas when they work together. It was something unlike anything they had ever seen before, and frankly, it terrified them just how well-coordinated their plan was in such a short amount of time.

The dust settled, and Neptune and Meliodas landed back on the ground, side-by-side as they looked up at the Albion, now missing half of its body. The Dragon Sin of Wrath took this moment to raise a fist as a gesture of camaraderie, to which the Guardian Goddess of Planeptune respectfully bumped his fist, smiling the whole way through.

"Now that. . .was awesome," Neptune said. "Seems like we both do a pretty great job at mixing their techniques with others!"

"Well, well, well! Looks like we blasted away the core as well! Guess we're just that great when we work together, huh?"

"Hmhmm~! That's just the power of us Protagonists, Meliodas!"

"Nishishi! I suppose you're right, Nep!"

"Sir Meliodas!" Arthur yelled from a bit far away. The King of Camelot ran over to the two in utter bewilderment.

"What was that attack just now?!"

"Oh, that was. . ."

"A cloning technique, right?"

Atop Hawk Mama, Diane, Merlin, and Hawk all stared down at the aftermath of the battle, with Hawk, in particular, sweating extremely nervously.

"I-I swear, those two just don't know how to hold back. . .they defeated it all by themselves!"

Inside the Boar Hat, both Elizabeth and Slader were spectating the fight and the aftermath.

"So this is the true strength of Meliodas armed with a Sacred Treasure? Those two are frightening. . ." Slader says as a sweatdrop rolls down his cheek.

"So, Sir Meliodas. . .what really was that attack?"

"Nishishi. . .well, it wasn't technically my attack, though you could say that Neptune's Ice powers turned it into my own!"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Holding up the Sacred Treasure Lostvayne, Meliodas brushed his hand against its mossy side once more.

"It's Lostvayne's special ability! Jitsuzō Bunshin (Physical Clone), see?"

As he swiped his sword across the air, the same four clones that appeared before reappeared to the side of Meliodas again, each holding a clone of Lostvayne with them.

"There's so many of Meliodas-sama. . .I wonder if this is an illusion. . ." Elizabeth said in a soft tone. She doesn't know whether to believe what she sees or not.

"Nnnope! It's the real deal, alright! Y'know how I was able to reflect all of the Albion's attacks with Full Counter? Well, since there were five of me, I could reflect all five attacks!"

"It's in the name, after all, Elizabeth! Physical Clone! If it wasn't physical, then. . ."

Just to prove her point, Neptune decides to noogie one of the Meliodas clones' heads as it yelled out from the torturous feeling of the CPU's knuckles rubbing against his head.

". . .I wouldn't be able to do this to him!"

"Hmm. . .Meliodas' Power Level is 3,370, I think, so five of him adds up to over 16,000!" Hawk shouts out.

"Heeey, wait a second. . .all of them except the real Meliodas only have a Power Level a little above 420!"

Blaze it.

"C'mon, pig, y'know it's not that hard to figure out why that's the case. Sheesh, you'll never make for a good main character."

"What'd you say, little girl?!"

"Calm down, Hawk. Allow me to explain. A clone is nothing more than just that; a clone. Therefore, its Power Level falls short of the original body. Let's say, for example, there's one clone of Danchō. That clone's Power Level would be half of the original Danchō's power level, equating to 1,685. And then, when there are four clones, the clones will each have one-fourth of the power level of the singular clone, which roughly equates to 420."

Blaze it!

"Be quiet, Writer," Neptune says bluntly.

"Doesn't that make the clones pretty weak, though?"

"If the numbers were our sole factor, yes. However, Full Counter is an ability that, regardless of his Power Level, Danchō can use to reflect back all offensive magical power while using almost zero power. No Sacred Treasure is more fitting for Danchō than Lostvayne."

Slader looked to the side a little bit and saw Elizabeth looking on in a small state of sadness.

"What's the matter, Princess Elizabeth?"

"I really wanted to make myself useful to Meliodas-sama. . .but in the end, I wasn't able to do a thing for him."

"Princess Elizabeth. . .you saying that is undermining my claim as a Holy Knight of Liones!"

"A-ah! I'm so sorry! But, still. . .it's even more apparent. The fact that Meliodas doesn't have the slightest need for me."

It's apparent even now, as Meliodas is focused on speaking to Arthur rather than Elizabeth.

"Hey, Danchō. . .you said that the Albion was awakened with the "Ten Commandments". What are they?"

"Ah, right, I was going to explain that. Ahem. . .

The Ten Commandments. . .the most powerful Demons besides the Demon King himself. They're the Demon King's hand-picked elite troops, each showcasing extreme strength and magical prowess. They were sealed away during the end of the Holy War with the Coffin of Eternal Darkness, but it looks like the seal has been broken, and now they're out. We can't play around with them. . .they're far too powerful for us to be toying around with them. And now the Albion is here, too."

"I-is that true?"

"Well, I wouldn't blame you for not believing what I said right away, but it's all true."

"True. . .unless you've seen a monster like that with your own eyes, you'd never believe such a story."

"If that's true. . .then the Ten Commandments would be even stronger than this Albion, right? Do we even stand a chance against enemies with such overwhelming power?"

"Aren't you guys forgetting something?" Hawk asked after some laughter. "As long as we have Meliodas' Full Counter, we can crush any enemy, can't we?"

. . .

BOOM. . .!

A sound akin to that of lightning was made off in the distance, beyond the walls of Camelot. Moderate in decibels, but still loud enough to be heard by everyone present, the group turned their attention to the direction of the origin of the sound.

"Distant thunder?"

"Nope. . .I'm not seeing any rain clouds."

BOOM!

An extremely vicious and powerful magical energy entered their range! As the Sins and Neptune reacted to it, a cloud in the sky was pierced by something, colliding with the ground in front of them and kicking up a massive duststorm from the ensuing impact! The group was astonished, alongside some nearby citizens.

"Wh-what's going on?!"

Elizabeth was quickly shielded by Meliodas, and Arthur by Merlin, whilst the others raised their arms to block the dust and tried to see who or what had slammed into the ground in front of them. A deep, vibrating voice emanated from the center.

"Hm. Seventy-two steps, eh?"

"D-Danchō. . .this is. . .th-this is. . .no way!"

The dust settled, and in the center, revealed an individual wearing a full set of red and silver armor. Their knees and elbows are covered with fierce and sinister mask-like designed pads, and they're wielding a halberd as a weapon.

"I thought it would only take me 70 steps to get here, but it looks like I'm out of practice after 3,000 years!"

"You. . .you're Galand of the Ten Commandments!" Meliodas shouted out, still protecting Elizabeth with Lostvayne held up horizontally to his chin.

"Galand. . .of the Ten Commandments?!" Neptune asked in astonishment. For some reason, she could feel butterflies in her stomach, and it was not out of nervousness. . .but rather a subconscious fear. She couldn't think of a reason why other than this menacing aura in front of her emanating from the Ten Commandment.

"It's been quite a long time, Meliodas. Just as I thought, it really is you!

Hahaha! To think you'd still look the same as you used to after all this time!"

"H-how can. . .how can there be a monster like this in this world?!" Diane said as she trembled in fear.

Hawk's Magical Eye started to quake a bit.

"Hey, Merlin. I think my Magical Eye is broken."

"What?"

"I mean, this can't be right, can it?"

". . .a Power Level of 26,000?"

"Heeey, everyone! It's me, your favorite Protagonist, back at it again with another edition of Nepstatiooon!

It's just me by myself this time, but y'know what, that's okay! I can do this without anyone!

So, looks like me and my friends are in quite the pickle here, eh? Well, not that it matters, I could probably whoop that Galand guy's butt in the amount of time it takes me to eat a pudding, which is, like. . .definitely instant!

But, oh well, it wouldn't be any fun if I just used my Protag Powers to finish the fight right then and there, so you all should be reeeally lucky!

Oh, I almost forgot! We've got some new reviews coming in! Yaaay!

So, these reviews aaare. . .from ACraftyLilBugger! Isn't that the Writer's friend?"

. . .maybe.

"Oh, well, either way, let's see what he has to say—! Wwwoah! These are super duper long! Uh. . .I dunno if this is a good idea, but I'll give it a shot! Let's start with the one from Chapter 5!

'Liking the story, and I think the characterisation is pretty good for the most part - and as someone who doesn't really know NNT that well, I think you did a good job introducing those characters and really showing what they're like throughout.'

Well, I'm sure the writer really appreciates it! He's pretty insistent about being on-point with the characters, sooo. . .

'Personally, I think the whole "Neptune being worried about being shunned" thing in this chapter came a little out of the blue, but regardless - I like the direction you're trying to take her character.'

Th-that wasn't my fault, y'know! It was Diane's fault! Blame her!

'On a less serious note, some of the things in this fic look a little... familiar. ;) (Keep that up and I'll sue)'

. . .wriiiterrr, you're not stealing ideas from this guy, are you?"

Nope, I dunno what you're talking about!

(I kind of am.)

"Aaah, well. . .

'No, but seriously - I hope you keep it up. This really seems like a story worth finishing.'

Hehee. . .we'll definitely try to get the Good Ending like we usually do! Alright, now let's see what he has to say on Chapter 6!

'I wouldn't necessarily say this was a weaker chapter. It resolved and introduced new aspects that I feel will be pretty significant to the story later on, like the whole Gowther situation being resolved as well as this potentially being a step forward for his character, and the effects that some of the abilities in this world has on Nep.'

Aaagh, don't remind me of that. . .I still feel the pain, even now!

'Don't be ashamed to make chapters like these, they're almost just as important as the bigger, meatier chapters. If all this story was is just big meaty chapters, I think the story would get exhausting pretty quick. So, essentially, don't worry too much about that. Keep it up, you're doing good!'

Well, we're certainly trying our best to make it as good as we can! Especially since the writer is. . .well, he's such a big perfectionist that it could become his middle name!

'I will say though, just for you to keep in mind, that I think Nep leans a bit too much into 4th-wall breaking and calling herself the protagonist. I get you're making your own tweaks to Neptune, as you've stated in Chapter 3 - but I personally think this should still be balanced out a bit more.'

Ehhh?! Am I not allowed to be how I usually am?! Hmph! Meeeanie! I'm gonna Nep you black-and-blue when I get the chance! Oh well, here's his last part. . .

'Regardless, Nep's characterisation is pretty on-point, and your tweaks have the potential to better flesh out her character. So keep up with the good work, and I'm looking forward to Chapter 7!'"

Heh. . .really appreciate that from you, best bud.

"Awww. . .are you two sharin' a bromaaance~?"

Oh, can it, we're good friends and that's that!

"Whateeever you say, writer! Well, that's all the time we have for now, Nepsters! I'll see you all in the next chapter, where I totally and completely kick that Galand dude's butt into the next generation!"

Broadcast End

. . .

End of Chapter 7!

Clarification; [1] - Neptune's ability to use the Ice Element comes from her ability to infuse her sword with ice magic in the form of Ice Edge, as well as using ice magic (albeit in tandem with Noire) to create a huge ball of ice in the formation skill 'J Hardware'. CPUs are shown to possess use over the elements of Neptunia — Fire, Ice, Wind, Lightning, Light, and Darkness — and demonstrate it through their Combo Attacks, SP Attacks, and Formation/Coupling skills, hence her use of it here in this chapter.

To be continued. . .
