A story created by Proximatic / Dan. A crossover between Hyperdimension Neptunia and Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins).

. . .

Detecting an abnormal surge of magical power near the royal capital of Camelot, Merlin along with the rest of the group transport themselves to see what this sudden occurrence was about.

The cause of the magical power was a weapon created by the Demon race known as a Great Beast Albion, used in the Holy War long ago.

At first, it seemed like the Albion was too powerful for Arthur and the Camelot Holy Knights to hold off, but thanks to the combined power of Meliodas and Neptune, the beast was quickly slain.

However, things would quickly take a turn for the worst, as one of the Ten Commandments, named Galand, appeared before the group with the intent to eliminate Meliodas and those that side with him.

We now continue from where we left off. . .

"What did you say, Hawk? A Power Level of. . ."

"26,000. . .?!"

"I-I can't stop trembling. . .!"

Galand. An elite Demon race warrior handpicked by the Demon King himself to become one of the Ten Commandments. They were sealed away 3,000 years ago at the tail-end of the Holy War, alongside the rest of the Demon race, but now the seal has been broken. The Sins, Arthur, and Neptune are now left to face him. . .but a Power Level of 26,000 was. . .unheard of. Meliodas, Merlin, Diane, and quite likely even Neptune don't have a Power Level as high as that.

"So this is what a true member of the Demon race's presence feels like," Slader commented, and then added on with, "how intimidating."

Galand took a few slow, loud steps forward before lifting his head, taking glances at the surroundings.

"True, his Power Level is more than we imagined, especially compared to the Albion. . .but something seems off," Merlin said. If something was off in regards to Galand's Power Level. . .then the implications of that are deadly.
"Hawk. What is his Magic?"

"Huh? Magic? Let's see here, it's. . .zero? Do you mean he's this strong even without a Magic stat? This Magical Eye really must be broken!"

"So he doesn't have some sort of magical reserve in his inventory or whatever?" Neptune inquired, trying to keep herself confident with a meta-joke.

"I see. . .it must be the effect of the Goddess race's seal, huh?"

"That means now is our only chance to attack. . .if the seal has weakened his magical power, then it's only a matter of time before he regains it!" Diane exclaimed, holding her fists up as she stood ready to fight. Even though the fear inside of her is telling her not to, she cannot run away from this. She's a Seven Deadly Sin; she has to fight for the safety of Britannia!

Galand began to gently rub his fingers against the lower, curved spike on the chin of his helmet, looking some more at what surrounded him.

"So, this is where the Humans nest. Quite a lot has changed in 3,000 years, it seems. But as usual, they're in a clump."

The citizens of Camelot were all trembling in fear as they looked at the Ten Commandment after hearing the commotion as a result of his landing.

"Seems like the only thing that hasn't changed is their habit of gathering together."

Galand's right eye started to glow green.

". . .it's too cramped."

The Ten Commandment then raised his halberd up, and with extreme force and violence, swung it twice. The citizens around them started to scream in pain and agony, shortly dying soon afterward, dust being kicked up like a storm as a result of Galand's power. The area. . .was cleared out. In just two swings of the weapon, a large chunk of Camelot was completely exterminated.

"Th-the city," Arthur said in. . .complete shock and melancholy. For a part of his kingdom to have been obliterated with such ease and in a short span of time. . .he couldn't even believe it. Everyone else either stared on in fear or anger. The dust settled, and around them, the corpses of those who were unfortunate enough to be caught up in the attacks. Some were scarred, few were impaled with bloodstained wooden planks, others were crushed underneath stacks of bricks. It was a rather horrifying sight.

"Now that makes things a bit roomier!"

Galand laughed maniacally at the now-barren city that he had just pulverized, eventually turning around to face Meliodas and the rest of the group. Feeling the impact of this, as well as a slight loss of Share Energy, Neptune clenched a fist angrily. She's never been seen in such a rage before.

"All right, then. Meliodas. . .I've been waiting to have a long, meaningful spar with you!"

"Nep! Let's go!"

"Right!"

As Meliodas pushed his foot into the earth, leaping forward at rapid speeds, Neptune followed behind, simply running forward with her sword in-hand, its various parts and bits glowing radiantly. Together, the two of them landed a slash each on Galand's sides, spewing out blood from each wound. . .but to no avail, as the Ten Commandment handily recovered and pierced Meliodas' chest with the spear-head of his halberd, and roundhouse-kicked Neptune out and to the ground.

"Hmhmhmm!"

Neptune lifted her head and looked at the lifeless Meliodas. Blood trickled down his face, and his eyes were totally devoid of luster and energy. But then. . .two more Meliodases jumped up and moved towards Galand. Seeing this, Neptune spun herself around into a position for a kip-up, driving her feet into the ground and leaping into the air just like the Meliodases did.

Galand used the rounded edge of his halberd to slice through the two Meliodases, which turned out to be nothing more than just clones as they faded away, alongside the clone that was on the spear-head of the halberd. The backward force of the swing created a large gust of wind so intense that it forced Merlin to protect Arthur, Elizabeth, and Hawk with two Perfect Cubes.

"An afterimage? No. . .these are clones. This feels like the clones following the real body."

"Kuritikaruejji (Critical Edge)!"

Diving in from high in the sky and catching the Ten Commandment off-guard, Neptune performed a downward slice, eventually following up with a powerful upwards slash, sending Galand into the air.

"Meliodas! Go!"

Meliodas then appeared from the dust, performing a horizontal slice against Galand's armor before sending him back down with an axe kick, allowing Neptune to land the final attack in Critical Edge, dashing right through Galand and hitting him with a powerful slash. And even still. . .not even a dent in his armor. Trying to carve into Neptune's skin with his halberd, he spun around and used the round edge to try and hit her, but the Goddess narrowly dodges him, with her Parka Dress sustaining a cut in it. Just as Meliodas went to dive in for another attack, Galand's lanky arm proceeded to grab the Dragon Sin, holding him tightly by the neck.

"That's quite a fun technique you used there, Meliodas. Unfortunately for you, I'm not really fond of cheap tricks."

Meliodas' clone meagerly attempted to lay a few scratches on Galand, but it was too weak to even cause him to faze, and said clone met its demise as the spearhead of the halberd was driven through its chest, soon fading away after the fact. Off to the side, Neptune rapidly swung her sword around and sent out a rapid-fire barrage of slash waves, which had little effect on Galand and only moved him ever so slightly from the impacts.

'Crap. . .this is really bad! He's not taking any damage whatsoever! If only I could transform. . .if I could use HDD, I'd be able to land some damage on him!' Neptune thought to herself, holding a hand to her chest as she tried to think of any possible way whatsoever that she could reasonably damage Galand. . .but she's drawing blanks. She can't transform, and because her power is drawn from Share Energy — of which she has a minuscule amount at the moment — she cannot feasibly attack him and expect damage to be dealt.

"I can't believe this monster!" Slader shouted out.

"King Arthur! Are you alright?!" One of the Camelot Holy Knights shouted out.

"I'm fine! Don't worry about me!" he responded within the Perfect Cube.

Galand continued to hold Meliodas up and choked the life out of him, with the latter attempting to escape his grip by flailing and kicking around, though it failed.

"Are you really the Meliodas I'm thinking of?"

As the grip around his neck tightened, Meliodas spat out blood from his mouth, gasping for air and lightly shouting in pain. Neptune clenched the handle of her sword and dashed forward, yelling out,

"Let him go!"

She wasn't about to let her friend die here! Infusing her blade with the Ice Element once more, Neptune attempted to freeze Galand's body just like the Albion earlier, but Galand successfully countered and clashed with all of Neptune's strikes, eventually doing another horizontal slice and cleaving into her chest a little bit, ripping a part of her Parka Dress with it. Neptune let out a moderate scream of pain as she was knocked back, landing on the ground on one knee and breathing heavily.

"This is bad! At this rate. . ."

Diane then began to run forward, expression filled with rage and fists clenched with the will to save both her captain and her friend.

"Get your hands. . .!"

Merlin pushed her spell ball forward. As it glowed, she recited the words. . .

"Majikku Kyanseru (Magic Cancel)."

Diane's body began to light up with a pink aura, growing in size and returning to what her original size was; the thirty-foot-tall Giant girl. Her clothes started to rip apart from her growth spurt, to which Merlin follow up with. . .

"Apōto (Apport)."

Diane's giant-sized clothes materialized onto her figure, and her Sacred Treasure, War Hammer Gideon, appeared in her hands.

". . .OFF OUR FRIENDS!"

She swung the hammer down fiercely, but it was quickly parried as Galand spun his body around and kicked it back at Diane. The flat end of the hammer slammed against her forehead, causing blood to spill from the wound and knocking her to the ground.

'We're even more outmatched than I expected. With Neptune and Diane on the ground and Danchō being rendered immobile. . .'

"Let's take a moment to rethink our strategy!"

Merlin stepped forward, pointing her hand to Galand, and snapped her fingers, and thus Galand vanished, causing him to drop Meliodas in the process. Merlin must have teleported him away, considering she had been able to do the same thing to Meliodas not even half an hour ago.

"Lady Merlin. . .that was amazing!" Elizabeth said with awe.

Meliodas sluggishly stood up as he regained his breath, coughing a little bit. Neptune, too, started to stand back up. Her Parka Dress was stained with the crimson color of her blood, and her hand was almost drenched in it.

"D-Diane. . .are you all right. . .?" Neptune asked in a weak tone, walking over to the fallen Giant as the blood from her wound dripped to the ground.

"Galand disappeared!"

"That was Elder Sister's Teleportation!"

"No. . .I didn't make him vanish."

"Huh? Th-then what?"

"In an instantly, he leaped several miles, beyond the range of my Teleportation magic."

"Wh-what?! Y-you mean. . .he was able to move so fast that you couldn't teleport him. . .?! He withdrew."

And within mere milliseconds, Galand had returned, appearing behind Merlin. Although he could not change his expressions, you could feel the rage within him.

"You know, it's sneaky mages like you that I HATE the most!"

"Merlin, run!" Arthur shouted out as Galand lifted a fist, launching it towards Merlin. However, at the last second, Slader was able to slide in-between them to use his magical power.

"Ōbāpawā (Overpower)!"

But as Galand let out a purely evil, violent roar, Slader's magical power failed to work. Its effect was supposed to freeze those who he uses it on in place, but in this case. . .he simply couldn't.

"This intimidating presence of his. . .it's like. . ."

Slader was quickly sidelined by Galand's halberd.

". . .a mountain."

Blood was spewed out from the mouth hole of his mask. His arm was completely ripped off as he lay there, seemingly lifeless.

"Slader!" Elizabeth yelled out with tears in her eyes. Everyone. . .everyone around her was being taken down one-by-one like flies.

"Wait!" Merlin yelled out and brushed her hair aside, showing off the Crimson Boar tattoo on her neck.

". . .let's make a deal, Galand."

"Hoh?"

"Galand of the Ten Commandments, serving under the King of the Demon race. I must admit that your abilities and power far exceed my expectations.
Surely you can kill us. . ."

'I have ten seconds to think of something. To defeat Galand, whilst keeping everyone safe, and prevent any more damage to Camelot.'

". . .in return, we'll give you anything you and your fellow Demons desire. Whatever you require to achieve your goals, I'm sure I can—."

"Merlin, wait! Galand can't be. . .!"

A dreadful, petrifying feeling started welling up inside Merlin.

". . .you lied to me, didn't you?"

Merlin's body began to turn to stone. Her hands. . .her legs. . .her torso. . .her head. Everything turned to stone in a matter of seconds.

"N-no way. . .!"

"The Great Mage, Lady Merlin, just turned into a stone statue. . .!"

Galand couldn't help but laugh maniacally with his green eye glowing.

"I'm the Ten Commandments' Galand of Truth! Speak any lie in my presence, and no matter who you are, you'll be turned to stone! This effect can never be withstood or reversed!"

From above, Meliodas came flying down with the Demon Mark materialized above his right eye, increasing his speed and power. He swung his sword down, and from the right, Neptune came dashing in and trying to slash at Galand too. But both of their attacks were neutralized. As Galand was distracted, Slader took this opportunity to move Merlin out of the way. The Camelot Holy Knights charged in at the Demon.

"Follow Sir Meliodas' lead!"

Pushing Meliodas off of his arm, and Neptune away from his halberd, Galand took this opportunity to commence the slaughter of Camelot's Holy Knights, slicing and dicing them one-by-one with malicious force and speed. He chopped their bodies in half, beheaded them, cut them to shreds, but above all, littered destruction all around him. All the while, he just laughed it off.

He then turned his attention back to Meliodas, deflecting his blade a few times before slicing both of his arms off.

"No! Meliodas-sama!"

"M-Meliodas. . .!" Neptune cried out as she stood back up once more. As her arm dangled at her side, she began to muster up all the power she possibly could. Thrusting her arms by her sides, she began to power up swiftly. An aura flared to life around her, and tremors shook the ground, lightning bolts from. . .somehow nowhere in the sky striking around her. Power flooded into her Mecha-Nep Blade as she jumped forward.

"Pāpurufurasshu (Purple Flash)!"

All of her energy was riding on this one attack. . .as she performed a horizontal slice, a scar in the space around them formed on top of Galand. Flipping forward and snapping her fingers, the scar exploded into a rising beacon of energy, which caused Galand to yell out in pain. But then. . .Neptune fell to the ground as blood trickled down her chest and arms. She had used up all of her energy. . .and in the end, all she could do was moderately damage Galand.

"Hahaa! What do you know? This little girl had enough energy to damage me when Meliodas couldn't! You've got potential, young lady. . .but you're 3,000 years too early!"

From behind, however, a ball of darkness was shot and impacted Galand's back.

"Grah! Who did that?!"

As the Ten Commandment of Truth turned around, he could see Meliodas. . .in a different state. His expression was blank and his arms were attached to his body once more. A spiral of darkness ran down his sword, and half of his face was covered with the same darkness.

"Hawk. . .look at that! It's just like at the Fighting Festival!"

This was Meliodas' state of Wrath. As he slowly becomes absorbed by the darkness, his power increases, but his state-of-mind becomes utterly berserk and nearly animalistic as he only knows to kill those he is face up again.

"That appearance. . ."

"Power Level 13,000. . .woah!"

Meliodas leaped forward and delivered a powerful kick to Galand's chest, knocking him back a bit and causing the Ten Commandment to stagger. He followed up by jumping forward and landing a vicious myriad of slashes against the ironclad Demon as powerful gusts blasted against Neptune and the others. However, Meliodas suddenly stopped and grit his teeth, standing still with his arms crossing and blood seeping from his mouth.

"D-don't. . .get swallowed. . .by the darkness. . .
. . .keep it. . .under control. . ."

He continuously grunted as he tried to get his power under control and his mindset into a normal state. Red lightning jumped around him from the mental pushback.

"What's that you're mumbling?"

Thrusting his bloody hand forward, a column of dark, fiery energy erupted around Galand, causing him some pain. Though, it didn't seem to be impacting his body as much as it seemed, unlike Neptune's one-and-done Purple Flash.

"M-Meliodas. . .this dark power of yours. . .who would've thought. . ."

"K-khh. . .nngh. . .!"

Galand's body started to slouch a bit.

"G-gnnnrh!"

". . .that it would weaken to this degree?!"

Throwing the spearhead end of his halberd through the column of darkness, Galand pierced Meliodas' chest, with the halberd standing upright and Meliodas' body sinking to the metal tip. The column of darkness disappeared as those conscious were left to look on in shock.

"Now I've lost interest. You lot have disappointed me so.
The treacherous warrior, Meliodas. . .and you fools who dare to stand against us! YOU CAN ALL REGRET YOUR DECISIONS IN HELL!
"

Galand drove the spearhead of the halberd into Meliodas' right eye, piercing it entirely. As Diane tried to get up, her left arm was cleaved through. Slader's chest was pierced, and Merlin's stone head was cut off, and subsequently pulverized into dust after Galand smashed his boot against it. But when he tried to kill Neptune. . .

. . .he couldn't. The Share Energy inside her body countered Galand's halberd and other attacks no matter how powerful he made them. It must be one of the properties of Share Energy; it allows a Goddess to never perish so long as they have some either from a Share Crystal or within their bodies [1]. The attacks Galand is trying to land against Neptune are killing blows, thus he cannot feasibly finish the job.

"Hoooh? So for some reason, this young girl just won't die? Hahaha! How thrilling! Today must be your lucky day. . .only a scarce few have faced me and lived to tell the tale."

Tightly grabbing his halberd and bending down, Galand shouts,

"Farewell!"

The Ten Commandment of Truth left. . .and behind him, a battle-torn wasteland in the walls of Camelot.

Meliodas. . .Diane. . .Slader. . .Merlin. . .everyone was. . .dead.

Minutes passed and the dust settled. . .before Neptune stood up and coughed up some blood. Her Share Energy was allowing her to hand on by threads, but that's not all a good thing. To her right, and to the others' left, however, the sound of a familiar voice rang through the air. Hawk's attention was diverted to this figure he saw walking up to them.

"H-hey, you're. . .!"

. . .it was Gowther, the Goat Sin of Lust.

"G-Gow. . .ther. . ." Neptune said fainting, holding a hand on her right arm as her sword hanged low.

"Aaahahaha. . .!"

And Gowther. . .laughed. He laughed for many minutes.

End of Chapter 8!

Clarification; [1] - Share Energy has an innate ability to where, no matter what, so long as a Goddess has even a mote of Share Energy to pull from, they will never perish. This is something that is touched upon within the third arc of Megadimension Neptunia VII, where Blanc points out how the Sealed Uzume, even though the world forgot about her, never died. She says that the reason for this is a result of her having Share Energy to pull from, aka her Share Crystal. From this, one can deduce that so long as a Goddess has Share Energy to pull from (whether internally or externally), they cannot die, hence why Galand was unable to land a killing blow against Neptune whilst she was unconscious.

Author's Note: Hey again everyone! Hope you enjoyed reading this chapter! I'm sorry that it's the shortest chapter out of all of the chapters thus far, but I felt that I could dedicate this chapter to what is essentially an entire episode from the NNT anime. On top of that, I've been facing a bit of a roadblock in my NNT brainrot. Going through the same episode that I've already watched a few times before at such a slow pace can get a bit boring after a little bit, especially if nothing particularly eventful occurs within it.

But don't fret; that doesn't mean I'm going to discontinue the story here and now! I just wanted to say that just in case there is a long delay between newer chapters.

Just as a reiteration, I would really, really appreciate it if you could leave some more feedback on these chapters as they come out! Whilst it is always pleasing to see compliments on it, I would appreciate it more if you could say something in regards to how it is actually written, and not just a "good job" or "pretty nice chapter". Again, it's not unpleasing to see those subtle compliments, but more than that, it's very helpful when I receive actual criticism of my writing.

Regardless, that's all I wanted to say. Peace!
