A story created by Proximatic / Dan. A crossover between Hyperdimension Neptunia and Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins).

. . .

After the arrival of Galand, a member of the Ten Commandments, a large portion of the city in the royal capital of Camelot was destroyed by his onslaught.

Meliodas and Neptune engaged in combat with him, but they were quickly overwhelmed by his unbelievable power and speed. Even Merlin believed that they stood little chance.

In a last-ditch effort to try and defeat Galand whilst keeping everyone safe, Merlin offered Galand a deal, but because she spoke a lie in his presence, she turned to stone. The Commandment of Truth prevents any lies from being spoken to Galand.

Eventually, Meliodas, Diane, Slader, and Merlin were all laid waste to by Galand, though Neptune was the only one of the fighters outside to have survived thanks to her Share Energy.

But then, out of nowhere, Gowther appeared, but seemingly, instead of helping everyone out, he just stood amongst the bodies of those ravaged by Galand and laughed for many minutes.

We now continue from where we left off. . .

"Heeey, Neptuuune. Wake uuup," the voice of a familiar blonde boy said. The pinkette slowly opens her eyes, groaning as if she didn't feel like waking up. . .to which she was forcefully awoken by a gentle chop to the head from Meliodas.

"Nepuuu! H-hey, what's the big idea, buddy?!" Neptune shouted as she sat upright, holding a hand over the area which was chopped by Meliodas.

"Jeez. . .you really are a sleepyhead, huh?"

The blonde was holding Elizabeth's hand and looking down at Neptune with a cartoonish look on his face. Elizabeth couldn't help but giggle at the silliness she was watching unfold in front of her.

"Lady Neptune. . .you're doing okay, right?"

"Well, I certainly feel fine! And it looks like my clothes somehow came back together, too! Maybe these things really are infused with plot magic!"

No, I just didn't want to have you put on a new one. Unless?

"Hoh. I wouldn't be surprised if everything about you was magic. Apparently, Hawk told me that Galand couldn't even land a hit on you when you were down."

"Oooh, I know what that was! My Share Energy was actively preventing me from being killed by him! It's just something we CPUs have as a cherry on top of just being plain awesome, y'know? Ehehee. . ."

"Nishishi! Guess you're correct!"

"Oh. . .uh. . .where are we right now?"

"We're still in Camelot right now. We moved you all to the castle. . .and let you rest here for the time being. Lady Merlin and Lady Diane are going okay, too."

"Whew. . .well, kinda glad you saved my Dogoo Jelly there. I don't even remember what happened after I woke up again. . ."

"Turns out you fell back asleep again since you were so tired after usin' all your energy in that big attack you did against Galand from before. So once Merlin's spell wore off, Elizabeth and Hawk took you inside and put you in this bed."

"Huh. . .thanks, Elizabeth. I dunno where Hawk is right now, but I'll be sure to thank him later, too! I totally could've handled myself, being the Protagonist and all, but. . .y'know, sometimes we gotta kick back and let the side characters get some spotlight too!"

"I-I don't believe I understand what you're saying, Lady Neptune, but you're most certainly welcome. . .!"

Just then, Neptune's ears perked up as she could hear, though faintly, the sound of magical energy gently ringing within the air. It sounded. . .rather majestic and soothing, almost as if it had a healing factor to it.

"Where're the others?"

"Oh, they're in the other room. Wanna go say hi to them?"

"Well, it would make them a little happier if they learned that we were all still alive, right?"

"Jeez, you might wanna cool that tongue of yours—."

"Whaaat?! I'm asking a serious question, ya dummy!"

Pout. . .oh well, Meliodas gestures for the CPU to follow him into the other room where Slader, Arthur, and the still-petrified Merlin were resting. The same sound of magical energy rang through the air as a green light envelops the scar left by Galand slicing off Slader's right arm. It looks like some healing magic from a magician has restored it.

"How does it feel now?"

Slader balled and opened his fist a few times before flexing his arm, demonstrating that the magic was able to restore his arm to normal.

"Thank you very much. Most of the feeling is back."

Sobbing could be heard to the left as Arthur looked down at Merlin's solid-stone body. Tears continually welled up in his eyes and dripped onto the floor as great despair and regret swallowed Arthur's heart.

"I-I'm sorry, Merlin. . .I'm always the one being protected. . .a-and yet. . .I-I couldn't protect you. . .!"

". . .a man shouldn't cry forever. Sorrows may overcome you, but you have the resolve to rise above them. I'm sure Elder Sister would say the same thing."

"But. . .I know that Merlin's disappointed in me."

Slader just lets out a sigh before Meliodas, Elizabeth, and Neptune all walk into the room with cheerful smiles present on their visages, as if it were just any other day.

"Well, I guess we're just gonna have to hear it from Merlin herself, huh," Meliodas inquired, resting an arm around Elizabeth's shoulder as he wiped a little bit of sweat away from his forehead.

"Whew. . .is it just me, or is it getting a little toasty in here," he says.

"Sir Meliodas! And Miss Neptune! Have your wounds healed?"

"Looks like it. We've just been makin' sure that Neptune was okay since she ended up using all of her energy and whatnot."

"Thank goodness. . .after I saw her pass out a second time, I was worried that she was truly done for. . ."

"Hehe. . .certainly felt like I was! It was almost as bad as me staring at a field of eggplants!"

"So. . .mind telling me what happened? I really don't see how Galand would just leave without finishing us off, y'know."

Gowther, who was standing behind Arthur and staring out the window the entire time, put two fingers to his forehead.

"Kapīn! I manipulated his memories a bit to make him think that he did finish you off, you see."

So that explains how everyone is still alive, and how the stone Merlin still has her head. Galand was merely tricked into believing that he finished the job, when in reality, he didn't do anything of the sort, and simply left.

"Gowther! So you're back to your normal size! But how come you have that towel," Meliodas inquired.

The Goat Sin of Lust took a few steps forward and opened the towel, showing his. . .er. . ."parts" to everyone besides Arthur.

"I have no clothes!"

Elizabeth couldn't help but yell and blush in embarrassment, physically recoiling and turning her head to the side. The others were just flat-out disappointed that he felt the need to show that off in the first place.

"Don't show us that," Neptune said in a deadpan tone, facepalming.

"Hey, are you doin' okay now?"

"In what way?"

"In what way? Well. . .you remember, right?"

As he furled his arm a bit, one could see that there was a bracelet attached to Gowther's left wrist. It was blue and metallic in design, and wrapped around the doll's arm twice.

"You won't have to worry about me losing control now that I have this restraint bracelet to stop me. This is a magical item of Merlin's; a prototype of the Peace Amulet."

The Peace Amulet is a bracelet that is rather simple and to the point; it will hold down the wearer's negative emotions. A straightforward, yet effective device.

"Did you put that on yourself," the CPU inquired, putting a hand to her face to form a thinking gesture.

"No, I did not."

"I put it on Gowther when he wasn't paying attention to us anymore."

"That voice!"

"Merlin?"

As everyone turned toward the petrified Merlin, they noticed that her spell ball was acting rather autonomously, as it floated about Merlin's body.

"I'm right here."

Merlin's voice sounded as if it was reverberating from inside a cave, but as it turns out, she's speaking through the spell ball itself!

"Oh wow! That little ball can talk!" Hawk exclaimed. Seems he hasn't caught on just yet.

"That little ball is Merlin's Sacred Treasure."

"Just before my body turned entirely to stone, I was able to transfer my soul to Myōjō Arudan(Morning Star Aldan) and preserve my life in here. To think that Galand had the ability to detect lies and punish them as well as he could. . ."

Arthur smiled brightly and wiped away the remaining tears in his eyes. Knowing that Merlin was safe gave him more fuel to his fire.

"Thank goodness. . .!"

"Wait, is that a good thing," Hawk inquired, wondering whether or not Merlin could sustain herself within the spell ball in regards to combat.

"No. . .it's inconvenient for me to not have a body. But unfortunately, this Commandment cannot be reversed, even with my magical powers. According to Galand, these Commandments are direct derivations of power from the Demon King himself. If anything can challenge it, it would be the Goddess race's power, as it directly counters that of the Demon race's power."

"So. . .we need someone from the Goddess race in order to reverse the Commandment and turn your back to your normal self?"

"Correct. However, because the Goddess race does not physically exist in this world anymore, that possibility is lost. But the greatest threat of all is the sheer strength of Galand himself. Even with his magical powers weakened as a result of the Goddess race's seal, we were still effortlessly overpowered and helpless."

"Well, if that's the case, then shouldn't we just find a way to become stronger, Merlin? After all, if we can't beat him at our current level, and he's going to eventually regain his magical powers, then it would be better if we tried to find a way to train ourselves and increase our strength some more!"

"That may be true, Miss Neptune," Arthur began, "but aren't there nine other people like Galand? After all. . .he was just one of the Ten Commandments, and who knows how strong the others are."

"Arthur's correct, Neptune. Between us and just one of the Ten Commandments, we are sorely lacking."

"Well, why don't I get the ball rolling by going out and gathering some Share Energy for me to use?"

"Share Energy?"

"Diane told me that it's Neptune's source of power and it lets her do a variety of things."

"Yep-Nep! So if I just go out and get a bunch of Share Energy, then it will make me a lot stronger than I am right now! Buuut. . .well, this place having a pretty low population doesn't really help since that also means that I get less Share Energy. I just don't like the correlation, honestly! Devs, get that fixed!"

"I see. . .so if you go out and gain more of this Share Energy, then it will allow you to reach further heights of power?"

"Ding-ding-ding! That's right! It even lets me transform into my HDD Form!"

"H. . .D-D?"

"Hard Drive Divinity! It allows me to transform and become even stronger! And pretty sexy, if I say so myself~."

Everyone was just staring at her with a blank expression as if she were delirious and spouting nonsense. Well, not at the whole transformation bit in general, but her pointing out how she becomes more sexy when she transforms.

"Whaaat, it's true! Besides, none of you side-characters would understand how much the protagonist changes in a real transformation!"

". . .in any case, it would be wise if we were to start with Neptune. What do we need to do to gather Share Energy for you?"

"Well, there's a teensy-weensy, tiiiny, little problem with that one there, Merlin," Neptune said, putting her hands on her hips and swaying back and forth a few times, continuing with, "Since none of you are CPUs, you can't actually get the Share Energy and pass it on to me. Only I can do that. And it's not just because I'm the protag!"

"Would it not help for us to simply encourage people to put their faith towards you?"

"It's not as simple as y'think; it's gotta be genuine! Like, imagine you're playing a game, and then someone is backseating you, always giving you the answers and what you need to do. It doesn't feel as fun! It's the same thing here! Telling people to put their faith and beliefs towards another person without explaining why ain't genuine enough!"

And, of course, in a meta nature, Neptune had to make a comparison to something which nobody here necessarily understands very well, let alone understand the concept of video games in general.

"Hoh. So basically what you're saying is that only you can reasonably go out and get this Share Energy stuff?" Meliodas inquired, folding his arms over his chest as he listened to the exposition from Neptune.

"Yep, that's right!"

"Well, in that case, then I suppose we cannot do much to help Neptune. Perhaps we should leave this to herself."

"Y-you mean that Miss Neptune has to leave us for a bit?" Elizabeth asked, with a worried and somewhat saddened tone overcoming her speech. Having a new friend of theirs depart, even for a short while, is always a bit of a disappointing prospect.

"Come on, can't I at least stay with you all for a liiittle bit longer?"

"If we ourselves can't authentically help you gather this Share Energy, then there is no reason to continue to drag you along with us, as we would only be hindering your progress. I believe it would be best if we let Neptune go on her own for the time being, and when we agree that the time is right, we can contact her and have her regroup with us."

"Oooh, actually, that's a pretty good plan, Merlin! You know, I feel like you could honestly make for a good primary character!"

"I appreciate the compliment, but that does leave us with a bit of a wider gap in power between us and the Ten Commandments."

"Aw, don't sweat it, Mer-Mer! Once I get back to y'all, you'll learn just how great and awesome my power can really be! When I'm grouped back up with everyone, we can definitely take down those Ten Freak-mandments without breaking the sweat of an Exhausted Jelly!"

"In that case, good luck, Neptune."

"Oh, wait, before that, I wanna go say goodbye to Diane! I haven't seen her since I last woke up! Where is she, where is she?"

"Diane? I'm fairly certain she's sleeping in the corridors around the courtyard. We're letting her rest for a bit since she did get hit pretty hard on the head, so. . ." Meliodas said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh. . .w-well, I guess if she's sleeping, then I can't actually say goodbye to her. . .tell her what I'm doing and where I'm going when she wakes up, though!"

"It's a pinky promise, Nep!"

In the background, Gowther couldn't help but smile rather maliciously. . .but nobody caught onto it. Whatever could that smile mean? Well. . .who knows?

"Hello hello, boys, girls, and everyone in between! It's time for another session of Nepstation! Woohoo!"

Unfortunately, it's just us two again.

"Well, yeah, but at the same time, I'm sure you're pretty stuck on how to actually continue doing these, right? It ain't easy when it's just the same thing over and over again!"

Maybe. . .but that doesn't stop me. I'm sure the readers really like these.

"Of course! I never said that you shouldn't, or that nobody liked them, but it's just you not knowin' how to write some of them anymore! It's like when you've beaten an RPG you really like and wanna do more stuff, but you're not sure what to do! That kinda block, y'know?"

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it writer's block. . .though, you have a point.

"Huhu! Like the protagonist always does!"

In any case, we should probably speed along with this. I'm not sure what else we should do here besides.. .well, read the new reviews.

"You got it, chief! Alright, so the first one here seems to be anonymous, buuut!

'Really intriguing idea you have hear.
Nep really changes a lot and she could do so really fun things to the canon.
Nice story.'

Well, we're definitely going to bring a lot more to the table! The writer's been thinking a lot about the different scenarios he can create with yours truly in it! Of course, since I'm just so cool and protagonistic, he's having a bit of trouble, but it's nothing he can't handle!"

It's been a little hard, yeah. . .

"Seeee, he can do it! He's just gotta push through that block! It's gonna be aaalright!"

Well, I know I can do it, I've just been a little. . .off of NNT for a bit.

"Just rewatch it, silly! Alright, so the next one is. . .another anonymous person! They say:

'This chapter was really intriguing from a perspective.

Galand folded everyone like in canon but everyone still tried.
I do like it but I really do hope this isn't the Seven deadly sins ft. Nep. It's a good fiction tho and I like how think are described.'

It definitely won't just be that, though! The original script is kinda dumb, so I just told the writer to make a new script so I can go off and do my own things! He's so kind!"

In actuality, I've just been having a bit of a subconscious fear of breaking the narrative such that future events would be literally impossible if I went with some of my ideas. But, thankfully, I've been carefully planning things out so the story remains intact whilst keeping it unique with Neptune. Sorry for not really doing that until now.

"Hehee. . .you're so silly, it's not that, you just like how the story goes up until now!"

. . .okay, sure, but I also want to be unique with this story, too.

"Yeah, yeah, you can keep making excuses like Arfoire, but it won't get through me!"

Ugh.

"Either way, that's all the time we have for now, Nepsters! See ya. . .hopefully soon! The writer may discontinue these for a bit though, so don't feel too sad about it!"

As everyone gathered around the entrance of the Kingdom of Camelot's walls, there was a somewhat downing feeling in the air. Its oxygen was filled with disappointment, and its other elements were filled with slight droplets of sadness, infected with the chilling feeling of separation.

". . .well, I suppose this is where we part ways for now, Nep."

"Come ooon, don't be such a downer when you say that! It's not like I'm gonna be gone forever! I'm just going out to gather some Share Energy so I can become super, ultra mega, hyper-powerful! It'll be cool!"

"L-Lady Neptune. . ."

"It's alright, Elizabeth! When I get back here, we can play all the games we want! Even Meli can join in on the fun!"

"Meli?"

"Yeah! Just like how you call me Nep, I figured I would call you a shortened version of your name! So Meli!"

"Meli. . .I like it!"

Meliodas curls his hand into a ball and raises it, putting on a bright, toothy smile with his eyes locked onto Neptune's.

"See ya on the other side, comrade!"

To which Neptune gave him a fist bump, smiling joyfully as well, and responding with,

"More like we're hanging on to the other side, am I right?"

"Nishishi! I dunno about that!"

"It was supposed o be a reference, silly!"

"Well, whatever it was. . .doesn't really matter. It's gonna be a little less lively without ya for now, but. . .hey, that's just how it is."

"Heh. . .yeah."

Neptune turns around as she begins to walk away. . .but then she realizes. . .where is she supposed to go.

"O-oh uh, could you tell me where the next town is? That'd help me, for realsies."

"The next town? About twenty miles northwest of here," Arthur said.

"Ooh, thanks Arthur! Well, I'm off!"

And just like that, Neptune sprints off into the distance.

"Goodbyyye!"
"See you next time, Nep!"
"Please stay safe!"
"Don't be long!"

Everyone was waving her goodbye, including some citizens and Holy Knights of Camelot itself. She felt a warm surge of pride within her veins, knowing that she could make such great and truly wonderful friends in the short time she has been here. But she realizes that she has to help them save the world from the great danger of the Ten Commandments; if she won't then who will?

One hour later. . .

An hour had passed since Neptune had left the group in Camelot and began her trek to the next town. The trip may be a bit longer than she expected, but the sightseeing certainly kept her rather entertained along the way. Travelers, Holy Knights, horses, rabbits, and other various inhabitants of the land of Britannia passed by her as she ventured across the island. The sky was vast and navy blue like an ocean from an anime, and the clouds in the sky were showing their beauty and role in the world's blanket; the perpetual cycle of water showed just how visually wonderful it can be.

As a few moments passed, Neptune found her way sprinting through a forest as she gracefully and acrobatically pranced around the trees before she eventually stops dead center in an opening within the ceiling of the forest itself. This peculiar magical and whimsical feeling permeating within the air and the presence of forest itself. . .it reminded her of the true beauty of her home. It reminded of her the Virtua Forest. The tranquil sounds of birds chirping, water flowing, and shrubs rustling around her filled her with so much vitality and energy. So much so that she couldn't stop herself from jovially dancing around in the spotlight beaming from the celestial lamp.

"Wee-hee-hee! Yippeeeee~!"

Her voice was so full of energy and spirit. Small green essences of life and nature were released from her tip-toes as she continued to dance, with the Goddess' Share Energy blessing the very ground itself with life. Flowers bloomed beautifully; grass grew quickly; the trees around here were quickly transformed into cherry blossoms with the pink petals floating down and perching themselves in the CPU's pink hair and shoulders.

She felt at home.

Unfortunately, that feeling of familiarity would eventually subside as the sound of multiple individuals horrifically shrieking filled the air instead. Her dancing ceased as she turned in the direction that the screams came from. It was deadly silent now. . .and all she could feel was the sensation of murderous intent. It wasn't overwhelming like Galand's aura, though. . .in fact, it was even lesser than the Albion's. But the fact of the matter is that it certainly belonged to that of the Demon race.

As she hopped and skipped around the trees, Neptune eventually found herself exiting the forest from a clearing. Looking at the town from high-up, she can see columns of smoke arising from blazing houses, and in the epicenter. . .was a winged, gray monster. It was a Gray Demon. Neptune may not know what it is, but this aura is unmistakable; this undoubtedly was a member of the Demon race.

"Oh no! Those people might be in trouble!"

Hopping down the side of the cliff and scraping her shoes against the rocky terrain, Neptune makes her way through the town, hastily traveling to the center to face the Gray Demon. Once she found herself there, though, she noticed a myriad of blue spheres with contrails floating in a circle within the Demon's hand. Unbeknownst to her. . .those were the souls of the humans living here. But even without that knowledge, she knows she has to take this monster down.

The CPU materializes her Mecha-Nep Blade into her hand as her Power Level surged; the sword was drawing out her full power from deep within, as it was designed to do so. Her hair waved upwards, powering herself up and getting ready for the ensuing fight. The Gray Demon opened its mouth and fired a laser beam at the Goddess, to which she avoided it and started sprinting towards the monster, slashing rapidly at its leg and drawing blood from multiple wounds.

Her slashes were responded to with a smack from the Gray Demon, knocking her to the ground temporarily before she flipped back, performing a double backflip as she dug her feet into the earth to slow her momentum.

"Hyaaah!"

With insane speed, Neptune sent out a barrage of slash waves, all impacting the Gray Demon's chest, knocking it back and forcing it to the ground from the force of each attack. Her sword then became infused with the Fire Element and was slammed into the ground, causing a multitude of fire pillars to appear in front of her and scorch the Gray Demon. It's just a little technique she came up with before this! Volcanic Beats, as she calls it.

With the Gray Demon letting out a roar, it rose its hands to the sky before forcefully thrusting them to its sides, creating a powerful shockwave of dark energy — Dark Nebula. This shockwave impacted Neptune, prompting her to raise her guard and push back against the power; standing firm like a statue as she grit her teeth.

"Y-you're certainly not a low-level peon enemy. . .but you're not a high-level boss, either! You're just a mid-level miniboss!"

A small sphere of Wind energy appeared in her hand. Tossing it up into the air like a volleyball, the Goddess leaped up and performed a roundhouse kick on the sphere, sending it directly to the Gray Demon at an unseeable speed, causing a small burst of wind to occur below the monster's feet and launching it into the air.

"Take this! Kurosukonbinēshon (Cross Combination)!"

Kicking herself off of a glyph within the air, the CPU launched herself at the Gray Demon, intercepting its forced ascent with her Cross Combination attack! She slashed the Demon five times before she starting spinning around and slamming her sword into the monster's chest, sending it back down with power such that it created a large crater upon the enemy's impact with the ground.

"Time to finish you off!"

Spinning herself around horizontally and dragging her fingers across the sky, multiple minuscule spheres of energy formed around her and coalesced into one extremely potent, yet still rather small sphere of energy. Enveloping it with her hand and diving straight to the Gray Demon, she shouted.

"Akashikku Shain (Akashic Shine)!"

Akashic Shine; much like the Quad Burst technique before, is a Formation Attack that concentrates the energy of four individuals into a single point, but rather than a gigantic sphere of energy like Quad Burst, it remains small. But this attack is a tiny terror. Once made contact with, the sphere will explode into multiple bursts of other enormous spheres, culminating with a trio of energy blasts at the end.

"Haaah!"

She thrusts the sphere inside the Demon's chest, and just before the attack could go off, she leaped forward, performing a flip and landing on her feet, not looking at the monster behind her.

". . .game over."

And just like that, the tiny sphere began to combust as multiple significantly larger spheres appeared on the Demon and injured it, even disintegrating some of its body. Letting out a malicious roar and opening its mouth for one final attack, Neptune snaps her fingers as a 32-X Blade fell from the sky and landed in the Demon's mouth, causing a self-combustion of its face in tandem with the final explosion of Akashic Shine, destroying a majority of its body, leaving nothing but the legs and horns.

After the death of the Gray Demon, the souls that were previously seen in its hand then returned to the bodies of those that had their souls forcefully stolen from. As their consciousness returned, they noticed the body of the Gray Demon, but to the right, they saw the young girl who had slain it.

"We. . .we were saved!"
"This little girl saved us!"

Everyone was happy to see that their troubles were dealt with by someone virtuous enough to step in and prevent a deadly situation from being fulfilled.

"Young lady. . .thank you for helping us."

"Mwehehe. . .it's no big deal! Stuff like this is a normal occurrance for yours truly!"

"How could we ever repay you?"

"No need to, man! I'm just passin' by and all! If you ever need any help, just gimme a ring!"

"Thank you so much. . .!"

The townpeople continued to cheer for the Goddess, which, in turn, was giving her more Share Energy. Their beliefs and faith in her strength and helpfulness has granted her access to more Share Energy from this dimension.

But from the shadows. . .a presence was watching Neptune. A deep, void-like, and dreadful presence. As they stood within the darkness and watched from afar, they scoffed with their arms folded. Though one could not see them, one couldn't help but feel. . .something was there.

"So, this is the person that Galand spoke of earlier. Hmph. She's just a little girl. . .how could someone so inconspicuous be powerful enough to injure Galand, even minorly, yet I can't sense her power?"

The voice sounded deep, calm, and collected. They leaned against a brick establishment with a foot planted against the wall behind them. Their eyes were a near-pitch black color with a hint of purple inside them, and a mark close to their right eye, similar to Meliodas.

"No matter. Even if I cannot sense her power, she will be eliminated. But I cannot be too reckless. She could be much more powerful than at first glance. I suppose I just have to watch where she goes and what she does for now."

The Goddess waved the townspeople goodbye as she walked through the northern gate, continuing her journey of gathering Share Energy in order to make herself more powerful to stand a chance against the Ten Commandments. The townspeople had given her directions to the next down; around seventeen miles northeast. It was a town more populated than the one she had just visited, so an even better opportunity has been laid in front of her!

But, that does not answer the inquiry. . .of who is this mysterious, dreadful presence? What connection do they have to Galand, the Ten Commandment of Truth? What do they seek from Neptune? Will she be able to arrive at the next town before she is interfered with by this individual?

All of these questions will soon be answered. . .for Reticence cannot allow these answers to come now.

End of Chapter 9!
