A story created by Proximatic / Dan. A crossover between Hyperdimension Neptunia and Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins).

. . .

After making a swift recovery, Neptune and the rest of the group had to decide on what to do in order to become stronger so they can stand a chance against the Ten Commandments.

Neptune suggests that she goes on her own to collect some Share Energy to make herself stronger, and then regroup with the others once she is satisfied with the amount she has gathered.

As she journies up the country of Britannia in search of a populated area large enough to grant her a decent amount of Share Energy, she stumbles upon a town being attacked by a Gray Demon.

Neptune was able to make quick work of the Gray Demon, and as a result, the townspeople thanked her for her actions and started to see how helpful and kind she was, granting her even more Share Energy.

But, from the shadows, an individual watches Neptune as she begins to set out for the next town to gain more Share Energy. Whoever this individual is can't have great intentions, for their aura and presence is too malicious.

We now continue from where we left off. . .but before that. . .

Review Time!

Oh yeah, it's time to introduce a new element into this; review time! You can think of this as a temporary replacement for the Nepstations since I've not only gotten a little bit burnt out of writing them at this point in time, as well as the fact that Neptune going solo means that she won't have any guest characters to star in it. So, I'll basically just be speaking on the reviews by myself, giving my thoughts on it and such. At the moment, there are only two new reviews I can go over, but either way, let's get started!

From reviewer "Konradoziom":

"Just an idea. What if the CPUs are descended from the Goddesses clan from Meliodas Dimension? Reason? They wanted to escape this clusterfuck that was the war from 3000 years ago. In this other dimension, evolution influenced by energies from another dimension may have changed their biology. I know how many loopholes this theory has, but I still think it's a cool idea."

As cool an idea as that may seem, as you said it yourself, there are way too many loopholes for that to really be a thing (primarily from the way that the Goddesses in Neptunia are born). And in my personal opinion, I feel as though it wouldn't be so significant, let alone probable, for it to be included in the story. I feel as though simply having Neptune say she's a Goddess would be enough of a shock for the cast of NNT. Now, don't get me wrong, the idea is cool on paper, but in practice, it's essentially impossible to work out. With how different the two series are, you'd have to essentially break the core elements of one series or the other in order to make it fit, which is something I don't want, or like, to do. Though, I wouldn't mind exploring a few more ideas that would help fit Neptune into Britannia and the NNT universe a little bit more.

And from anonymous reviewer "That guy":

"I love the idea of nep just wandering around gaining shared and befriending people. This is a sweet chapter.

Also nep isn't going to see them for a while then...? Intresting..."

Essentially, yeah; Neptune isn't going to be meeting up with the rest of the cast for a hot minute. The earliest I'm thinking they would reunite is after Meliodas regains his stolen power, but I'm going to settle for the Fighting Festival since that's when everyone reunites in the most logical way I can think of. To touch upon Neptune going through Britannia for Shares; she won't be traveling the entire island, of course. Just the western coastline for a short while before eventually going to the Fighting Festival. Buuut, if the chapter's title wasn't already a giveaway, she's going to be facing a few challenges along the way. Heh.

Well, since those were the only new reviews I got on the latest chapter, that's it for this review room! On to the story!

A jovial and upbeat Goddess continues to dash through the plains of Britannia in style to that of a certain blue hedgehog; the wind brushes against her hair and skin as her journey to gather more Share Energy continues with her heading to the next town after being given the directions to guide her there. All is well and good for the time being; she has not run into any abrupt encounters along her way, human or monster, and at this rate, she'd be able to make it to the next town in just a few minutes.

With nothing to stop her, she starts to bob and weave around the mountains that raise Britannia to its greatest heights along the western coast of the island. The grassy terrain grazed against her fingertips as she slightly leaned in to not lose her balance with her speedy spree being unstoppable at this moment. As soon as she came across a small sign, however, she slowed her roll and stopped herself to take a look at it.

"Hmm. . .'entrance ahead', huh? Well well well! Guess I'm in luck! The next town's just up ahead! Woohooooo!"

She hops around a bit before regaining her focus and speeding ahead to the entrance, stopping in front of an arch that was proceeded by a rather largely populated situation; it was even well-developed by this dimension's standards, so this must be a decently wealthy and self-sustaining settlement too. Taking a few steps inside, she noticed that it was rather quiet. Not totally silent, as there were still people speaking and conversing, but unusually toned down for such a decently populated town.

"This stew is rather delicious!"

"I've been perfecting it for a few days, getting advice from others, and now it turned out amazing!"

. . .quite unusually toned down. But that's not going to stop Neptune from continuing her 'Quest'! She's got some Shares to earn at the end of the day, and she's going to do it using whatever methods she can!

"Aaalrighty, so these peeping peoples seem pretty reserved or whatever, so maybe they got some sort of thing they need to be done for them in a house! Ooh, or they need an item retrieved from somewhere!"

The Goddess paced along the stone paths of the town, taking glances around her, trying to find individuals in need of help. But. . .nothing. Her findings have been rather bare. Nobody seems to require any help, and she can't just go and tell them to put their faith in her since, as she said before, it needs to be an authentic belief, not just doing it because someone told them to.

But, alas, after half an hour of strolling through the town and searching for people to assist. . .she's emptyhanded. It doesn't help that, seemingly, a majority of the residents aren't able to be seen, either because they are in the comfort of their homes, out somewhere within the rest of Britannia, or because of some other reason. But whatever the case, the effort was. . .fruitless.

Sighing in defeat, Neptune sits down in an alleyway, her back resting against the wall as she pulls out her N-Gear, playing a game on it. She's already starting to have some doubts. . .but she doesn't want to just give up on what she set out to do! She just. . .perhaps needs a bit of luck on her side. And what better time than now?

CRASH! BOOOM!

As the sound of wooden material breaking and stone objects colliding with the ground rings through the air, Neptune turns to her right and notices some dust slowly passing by the alleyway. Peeking her head around the corner, she can see a man trapped underneath some wooden planks and rubble, in large amounts of pain and struggling to escape.

"H-Help. . .us. . .please. . ."

"Unfortunately for you, that help won't be coming."

Another individual proceeded to walk forward and place their hand on the man's forehead, who then spewed out a small, wisp-like object. That was his soul.

"H-huh? Who are you?"

She's getting some very awful déjà vu right now. This person's presence. . .it felt just like Galand's. No. . .it felt even more imposing somehow. There's no mistaking it, this person must be one of the Ten Commandments as well! As they lodged the now-dead man's soul into their mouth and swallowed it, their white cape fluttered with the gentle breeze accompanying a tense silence.

"Hoh? So you are here after all. Seems like I lost track of you somewhere along the way, but I guess I'm in luck. You're the one Galand spoke of after he returned."

This intensely dreadful feeling put Neptune on edge, holding her hand out to the side to prepare to materialize her blade in defense of herself.

"A-answer me!"

"I suppose I can let you have one last memory before you perish. I am Monspeet, the Ten Commandment of Reticence."

"Reticence. . .?"

"It seems as though Galand is so blinded by his own delusions that he forgot to try and finish you off properly. No matter. I can do this myself."

As Monspeet's right hand flares up with a red-orange flame, it starts to rise into the air and take the shape of a bird. Its presence was starting to set some of the nearby wooden settlements ablaze as the intense heat spread across the town. The magical power radiating from the flame bird itself was overwhelming. It formed an even more bird-like shape with its wings spread.

"Gokuenchō (Hellfire Bird)."

Thrusting his hand towards Neptune, Monspeet unleashed the demonic-powered fire bird as it sped towards Neptune. The most she could do in this situation was put up a shield and hope for the best, hence she does exactly that. As the Hellfire Bird collides with Neptune's shield, it explodes on contact, creating a huge upheaval of dust and column of burning smoke as a result of the combustion.

. . .

. . .

. . .sssss. . .

The sizzling of the moisture around them could be heard as a chunk of the town now looked like an infernal hellscape. The blazes around them were creating a haze that covered their close vicinity. As Neptune lowers her hand, and her shield — which has sustained a decent amount of damage from Monspeet's attack — she glanced at her surroundings. Houses were scorched, and people were charred and burning. She couldn't help but feel even the slightest bit unnerved.

"Oh man, oh man. . .this doesn't seem to look too good for me."

"Now do you see the situation you are in, Human?"

Neptune turned her attention back to Monspeet, raising an eyebrow at the 'Human' comment. Whilst not exactly wrong, she doesn't really like being simply labeled as a Human.

"I'll give you two choices. You can either die by my two hands here and now. . .or you can subjugate yourself to being a slave of the Demon race as we conquer Britannia. Make the choice."

The Goddess chuckled a little as she brushed off some of the soot on her hand, materializing her Laevateinn weapon soon after, a weapon that can emit a greater and more potent illumination than even the sun.

"Human, huh? Sorry to break it to ya, but I'm not a Human. I'm a full-blooded Goddess!"

Monspeet's eyes widened a bit, his expression morphing into surprise as he heard the word 'Goddess' flow into his eardrums.

"G-Goddess? No. . .you can't be a Goddess. I don't sense the sinisterly holy energy that the Goddess race usually emits. You're just being pretentious."

"Heh. . .are you sure you want to find that out? Don't be so surprised when I Nep your face black and blue, buddy!"

"Even if you're a member of the Goddess race as you claim, the only thing you really serve as is an obstacle in the way of us conquering Britannia."

"I'll show you the power of the protagonist!"

Spinning Laevaeinn on the outside of her right hand, the Goddess snapped her fingers, and from the sword emitted a light that blinded Monspeet on use. Neptune dashed forward with her arm reeled back, and once she managed to get up close and personal, she performed a low sweep kick, knocking the Commandment of Reticence off of his feet. In the midst of his fall, Neptune switched her sword from Laevateinn to Purple Force, and with great speed and power, swung the sword horizontally across Monspeet's arm, severing it from his body entirely. Just in one fell swoop. . .she sliced off his arm.

"Tch. . .!"

"Hahaa!"

As the Ten Commandment flipped away from Neptune, a black-purple substance continuously poured and dripped from his chopped-off arm, to which he simply nonchalantly stared at it.

"Hoh? That sword is quite powerful. It's something beyond our knowledge and even our capabilities through magical powers. Interesting."

'I guess I have to keep my distance with this girl. That sword, even with just a single swipe, was able to slice my arm off. It looks like I need to make sure she's away from me as much as possible.'

A mysterious, tendril-like matter extends from the flat end of Monspeet's arm and connects with its other end, pulling the sliced limb back to him and re-attaching it. This is an innate ability that the Demon race possesses; the ability to regenerate. They can be sliced in half, lose their limbs, and even entire chunks of their body, and with their power of Darkness, they are able to regenerate. However, the pain and exhaustion do not fade, simply the wound, and thus there is a downside to it.

"Putting your arm back together. . .? That ain't fair!"

"I suppose if this is all it takes for you to be able to dice me up. . ."

Flicking his hand forward, Monspeet shot out multiple sharp bullets of darkness from his palm, sending them toward Neptune at rapid speeds, thus prompting her to evade them. She skillfully danced around them, even performing a few acrobatic tricks to do so, but is eventually grazed on the arm by it, leaving a black cut on her harm and leaking a bit of blood. Nothing she can't handle, though.

'It's really working. . .! All the Share Energy I got from the last place has made me stronger! Sweet!'

"Don't feel so confident just because you've shown that you can, indeed, slice off my limbs. After all, it's not just me."

"Huh?"

Just moments after Monspeet said "it's not just me", Neptune could feel a second overbearing presence swiftly approaching her from behind. She sensed it leaping into the air, and then. . .

"RRRAH!"

The Goddess quickly turned around and raised her sword to counter the attack from a blonde girl whose arm was large and coated in Darkness.

"Heh. . .Monspeet!"

"I got it."

From his palm once more, Monspeet shot a bullet of darkness at Neptune, piercing the upper edge of her shoulder. The Goddess winced in pain for a bit as she tried her best to remain on her feet, but enough horizontal force from the blonde was able to sweep her off the ground, allowing them to quickly roundhouse-kick Neptune through a chain of houses, injuring her modestly.

"Hm. I suppose for our first time coordinating our attacks, that went more smoothly than I anticipated."

"Oi, Monspeet. . ."

The blonde girl clenched her non-Darkness fist with a hint of rage and bloodlust inside.

"What is it, Derieri?"

". . .this girl said she was from the Goddess race, right?"

"Well, to be entirely honest, I'm not sure if she is or not. She claims to be, yet I sense none of the same energy that the Goddess race possesses. So unless she's a Goddess who somehow hasn't unlocked her magical powers yet. . .she's simply faking it. But no ordinary Goddess race member would be able to survive an attack from my magical powers."

"Tch. . .whatever."

"Though, regardless of what race she claims to be from or is from, our goal remains the same; we're eliminating her and finishing what Galand didn't."

"Bottom line, she's dead weight. Why do we have to do this?"

"If Galand couldn't finish someone like her off, then she's more likely to become a threat to us as a group than even Meliodas. Quite frankly, having us do this instead of most of the others is a wise decision."

From the debris, Neptune came rushing out, swinging her sword across the air as a multitude of 32-X Blades were shot out of thin air. Monspeet and Derieri quickly reacted by evading the swords, eventually becoming separated by a few dozen feet. But this is a perfect opportunity to try and take out one, thus making it easier for her to handle the other from there on. With how cautious Monspeet is about keeping away from her, he is very well aware of how dangerous the power of her weapon is. . .and if she ends up targeting Derieri, she won't exactly know how to counter attacks from a sword powerful enough to slice off a Ten Commandments' arm without issue whatsoever; it's like slicing through butter.

"Change target!" the Goddess shouts out loud. As she turns her attention to Derieri, the blonde Demon locked eyes with Neptune; her irises were deep purple and almost void-like as an intense, grim feeling emanated from her making eye contact. Nonetheless, Neptune dashes forward with an upheaval of dust left behind her, reeling her arm back with Purple Force ready to strike. . .

CLANG!

Derieri's large arm of Darkness raised up and clashed with Purple Force, with sparks flying from the epicenter of the clash and the two of them remaining in a stalemated position for a few seconds. It seems that, even though Monspeet's arm was easily sliced off by Purple Force at first, Derieri's Darkness can ward it off rather efficiently. . .perhaps Darkness is more powerful than the raw body of a Demon?

"Bottom line? You're done for."

"Don't underestimate the power of the protagonist!"

After disengaging from their clash, Neptune and Derieri started circling each other, both on guard and waiting for the other to begin making a move. A few seconds passed, continuing to stare each other down, until in the distance, Monspeet's voice could be heard.

"Gokuenchō."

As a ferociously hot feeling trails up her back, Neptune turns around and notices the Hellfire Bird being launched straight towards her, thus prompting her to raise her sword and try to guard it — her shield would likely shatter from the impact due to the amount of damage that it had already taken before, and so she didn't want to run the risk of potentially being harmed as a result. However, Derieri saw this as an opportunity to coordinate with Monspeet some more.

"Yah!"

She leapt forward and delivered a powerful kick to Neptune's backside, dropping her guard and sending her in the direction of the Hellfire Bird. As the flaming magical attack came into contact with her, a second powerful explosion rocked the nearby vicinity and caused an even greater amount of heat to be dispersed along the town, setting ablaze multiple settlements and causing any individuals outside of the radius of the blast zone to flee.

"Hoh. Nice thinking, Derieri."

The column of smoke rose into the air, the dust eventually settling with Neptune at the center of the blast zone, her clothes scorched and burning a little, and her body littered with some injuries. Her breathing was heavy as she hunched a tad, holding her sword in her hand with burn marks all across her arm.

"Bottom line, that's rather lame, huh?"

"Let's leave that uninterpreted."

Neptune slowly walked forward, wiping a bit of the ash away from her lips as a spectrum-colored energy released from her fingertips and soon vanished around her body. It seems like her wounds were healing somewhat.

'D-dang. . .looks like I didn't have enough to make a full recovery. . .'

Share Energy can also be used to heal one's wounds.

Doesn't help that this is being retroactively worked in because of Sisters VS Sisters showing it off, but hey.

"You know. . .you're pretty tough end-game bosses. . .I guess I wasn't properly leveled for this one. . .heh. . ."

Trying to continue the bravado, Neptune dusts off her Parka Dress a little bit, though they were still burnt down to the thinnest layer. She tightly clenches her sword as she imbues it with energy and holds it in front of her.

"But it doesn't matter. . .in the end, the protagonist always wins!"

"Sorry to break it to you, young girl, but it seems like we're the winners here. After all, you can barely even damage us as is. Someone like you is nothing compared to the Goddess race that we have faced in the past."

"Tch. . ."

The Goddess held a hand to her head, shaking it rapidly to try and fight away the slight fatigue she was feeling as a result of using some of her Share Energy as well as the impact from the Hellfire Bird still affecting her a bit.

'N-no. . .I'm not going to get a game over here! I'm better than this!'

Dizziness catching up to her, she dropped on one knee with a hand still to her head, and her sword driven into the ground; a metallic "clang" ringing through the air as the blazes around them finally died out, leaving only minuscule fires on some wooden pieces.

"Seems like you've reached your limit. I will admit, you may have given me quite the shock after slicing off my arm so easily, but in the end, you didn't stand a chance. This is the end for you, young lady."

As Monspeet moved his arm out from under his cape, letting it flutter with the wind blowing behind him, he took his steps forward, approaching Neptune with a rather indifferent expression on his face. No rage, no disappointment, not even empathy; he's simply normal.

". . .hm?"

The Commandment of Reticence stopped in his path, and Derieri, the Commandment of Purity, raised her eyebrow.

"Oi, Monspeet. Why're you stopping?"

"I sense a group of presences. . ."

He turns his head to the right and sees a trio of people standing there. They were quivering, but soon, they shouted.

"Don't give up, Miss Goddess! We know you can win!"

"Don't give up, Miss Goddess! We know you can win!"

"Don't give up, Miss Goddess! We know you can win!"

Their voices spread throughout the air, and much to Neptune's surprise. . .she could feel their hopes and beliefs in her.

"G-get outta here now! You'll be killed!"

"We can't leave you here! You're our only hope against these people!"

"If you don't win, then who's going to save us?"

As they continued to shout their faith in Neptune, other individuals came out from the shadows and started to show their support for the Goddess!

"You can do it, Miss Goddess!"

"Show them who's boss!"

"Give 'em hell, miss!"

"You know they can't win, so have them taste their own medicine!"

"Everyone. . ."

It seemed like hundreds of people were surrounding the three of them and espoused their hopes for Neptune to defeat the two Commandments.

She could feel the Share Energy surge within her. . .their hopes, their prayers, their beliefs! It all flowed so powerfully through her body, and her strength was skyrocketing as a result! The atmosphere around them became a divine field of air, and their vicinity shimmered beautifully as life prospered at her feet. And she could even feel that she had enough Share Energy to. . .

'. . .transform.'

An aura of Share Energy flared to life around the Goddess as she stood up. The powerful gust released from the initial appearance of the aura caused Monspeet to fly away a little bit before he regained his balance and stood back at Derieri's side.

"Looks like she's gotten more power after all of these people sent their prayers to her. Perhaps she really is a Goddess after all.

With her aura reaching its peak, the Goddess hops into the air and from the sky, a Share Crystal descends, falling into her hands. It suddenly lights up, emanating immense power. The Share Energy resonates with Neptune, who pulls the crystal to her chest, enveloping herself in a violet, spherical cocoon of energy which lasts for a few seconds.

From the fading light, the transforming Goddess starts to materialize the various pieces of her Processor Unit around her body, first beginning with her leg pieces. Black and purple boot-like footwear appears and bursts into existence as hexagonal particles are shot out from it. Following this came the waist pieces; high-technology bits that have protruding purple shapes that glow radiantly like the sun. Lastly came the head, shoulder, and back pieces, the last of which being her wings, nearly finishing the Processor Unit. The Unit itself is pulsing with power and energy.

The power of Lost Purple!

The final piece to the puzzle is about to complete the picture of this mysterious phenomenon. As her hand glides across the air, strange holographic squares trail behind the Goddess' digits, and swiping it to her right once more, a sword is materialized into her hand, as its hilt shows off the Planeptunian symbol.

The Processor Unit was now complete! Purple Heart. . .has arrived.

The essence of divinity slowly descends to the ground as her Processor Unit glowed brilliantly and with immense power. Her presence was frighteningly calm, yet soothingly sharp and tight. She was the possible and the impossible.

Although nobody around her could sense it. . .in this state, her power was too great for the two Commandments to stop her now.

They're about to witness the true power of the Guardian Goddess of Planeptune.

End of Chapter 10!

Author's Note: Hey everyone! It's been a little bit since I last uploaded a chapter, but I finally managed to finish this one and get it pushed out! So, hooray for me!

I hope you're excited to see Purple Heart kick some ass, because boy oh boy, have I been waiting to get to writing Purple Heart in this story! She's just such a fun character to write, and I feel like this was the perfect moment to bring her in; on the 10th chapter at a climatic moment.

Regardless, though, that's realistically all I have to say. So, hope you have a good rest of your day! Laters!

To be continued. . .
