Despite being in the middle of a devastated grassland in late ancient times, Ritsuka wished she had some popcorn with her as she witnessed a funny scene of a teary Vivian holding Kay by his collar, violently shaking the laughing man back and forth.

"Why did you have to be so cruel?! I asked you so many times to stop and you... you...?!"

They stopped momentarily as Morgan became ill from the car's movements on the extremely bumpy road, not to mention that Red Hare's superhuman speed made the sensations even worse to the point that Vivian vomited, a sight she wanted to record.

"Ahaha. Sorry but you looked so cute holding me like your life depended on it, I just couldn't help myself."

"Cu..." She suddenly stopped, as if the word "cute" activated a switch in her, before she shook her head and glared at Kay, a luminescent blush on her face.

"Don't think for a second that I'll forgive you for your stunt just because you called me cute, you hear me?!" She shouted as she hit Kay's chest many times, which seemed to have no effects as the young man kept laughing despite the barrage of blows sent at him. But when she saw that he had no intention of showing remorse, Vivian decided to change her target.

"And you! While I understand you were happy to see me since we haven't seen each other for ten years, just why did you think that headbutting me like a bull would be a great idea?!" She glared at Artoria who was scratching her head and smiling awkwardly.

"It was... just me showing you my love and affection, I guess. I mean, I really missed you so I couldn't help myself." She said as she let out a weak laugh, causing Vivian to shake her head in exasperation.

"I could do without such violent and harsh love... But it's nice to see you in good health, Artorius. It seems that they did a good job taking care of you." Vivian said as she gently hugged Artoria, much to the delight of the young girl, who quickly returned it.

"While I'm sure that there are many things you want to tell me, I'm sorry but it'll have to wait." She said to Artoria who, while nodding to show that she understood, had a sad expression on her face that made Vivian grimace.

But she quickly shook it off, shaking her head before turning to Kay, looking at him with narrowed eyes, a sight that almost made Ritsuka believe that the behavior she had seen so far was just an act.

"Kay, can I ask what you were thinking when you decided to take Artoria with you to Londinium? Are you not aware of the situation and the danger present there?"

Just as Vivian asked her question, Ritsuka turned to Kay to see him standing with his arms crossed over his chest, his casual smile not present on his face as he had an impassive look instead.

"There's nothing to worry about. Although I haven't seen exactly how things are going in Londinium, I haven't sensed anything that could prove to be a danger to Artorius... Well, there is maybe that huge presence in the castle, which I assume is Vortigern, but I believe that she can win against it if she gives it her all."

"Kay, I really hope that you aren't lying because this isn't the time for jokes right now." Vivian said with a deep frown on her face as she stared down at Kay who just shrugged his shoulders, not bothered by her glare.

"Well, if you don't believe me, then how about a little demonstration? After all, they do say actions speak louder than words. Artorius, it's been a while but how do you feel about fighting an army? While I'm sure it's nothing compared to a Primal Beast, are you up for it?" Kay asked his little sister as he walked back to the carriage, Artoria following him closely behind.

"Sure, I don't mind. Oh, can I really use your sword this time?"

"Yes, you can."

"Wait, come back here! Our discussion isn't over yet! And what's this Primal Beast you're talking about?!"

"Hey, don't you think we should intervene? Because it looks like things aren't going well." Ritsuka asked the woman standing next to her, a little wary of her because of the ever-present mischievous smile she wore.

"Oh, that should be fine. She'll quickly learn that common sense and this world's standards don't apply to these two, especially in Kay's case. Well, I'm sure that we'll see something interesting anyway, so there's no need for us to do anything."

As she looked at Merlin who then walked towards the carriage, her eyes staring at the back of her head, she remained perplexed by her words.

'This world? What did she mean by that?'

She began to ponder about the words, believing that they had hidden meanings since mages, in general, liked to beat around the bush using a bunch of metaphors and being secretive. But before she could think about it any deeper, she heard her name being called by Kay.

"Ritsuka, what are you doing?" She looked in their direction to see them looking at her, waiting for her to join them with the exception of Morgan who kept hitting Kay's back with weak blows.

"Stop ignoring me!"

'Guess I'll just ask them directly later.'

"Sorry, I'm coming right now."

And as she ran towards them, she almost laughed when she saw Kay swiftly manhandle Vivian and place her on his lap, leaving her momentarily speechless as she blinked in surprise.

"What?"

"Since we're heading straight to the enemies' camp, I can't have you disturb me in case of an ambush on us or anything, so please stay still like this." Kay said as he hugged Vivian's body and she could see, even from afar, that her body slowly turned crimson much to her own amusement.

"Brother, how filthy... I can't believe that you're hugging a married woman and not your cute little sibling." Artoria said as she hugged Kay from behind, pressing her cheek against his while glaring at the blushing Vivian.

"Well, sorry about that. I'll dote on you plenty later, so behave for now. Alright, since everybody's ready..."

"Kay, can we make a detour first?" Merlin suddenly said, interrupting Kay which caused him to look at the succubus with a raised eyebrow, silently asking for an explanation.

"The thing is I've detected some Servants in some parts of Britain. Don't you think it would be great if we recruited them to our little group like we did with Basashi?"

"I'm not against having more manpower with us. What about you two?" Kay asked Artoria and Ritsuka who both nodded at his question.

"I'm all for it. I'm a little curious to see what kind of heroes we'll be able to see."

"Me too, though I hope those Servants are stray ones and not the ones that were summoned by Vortigern with the Grail." Ritsuka said before she sported a grimace. "And that they are friendly enough to cooperate with us."

"Well, there's just one way to find out. And if they aren't, then we'll just persuade them with our swords! Basashi, time to run! Extreme speed!"

"For the last time, my name is Lü Bu… Neigh!! CARROT!" Red Hare shouted when he suddenly saw a sparkling carrot dangling in front of his eyes before it suddenly flew away, causing the horse to run after it as fast as he could.

Not knowing the carrot was only Merlin's illusion.

And it was only after a few minutes that the group faced an army of Saxon soldiers as they approached a small village, apparently preparing to attack it. But before Ritsuka or Vivian could say anything, Kay suddenly threw a golden sword he got out of thin air outside of the carriage, only for Artoria to catch it and rushed at the army with Cavall by her side, holding a sword in his mouth. And then, it took them only an instant to take them down.

"See. I told you there was nothing to worry about Artorius." Kay said as he glanced at Vivian who could only blink her wide eyes in disbelief while Ritsuka nodded to herself.

'She was right. There's no need to apply common sense to those two since they aren't normal at all…'

"What just happened just now?"

Meanwhile, in Chaldea's command room, many people were surprised to see how quickly the young Artoria took care of an entire army accompanied by a sword-wielding dog. Even Artoria and her knight were surprised as they looked at the monitor in bewilderment.

"My king, were you always this strong even in your youth?" asked Gawain, remembering how Artoria fought her battles when she was alive.

In his eyes, she acted like a god of war, always leading from the front where no enemies could stand in her way. Never turning her back and never being disgraced, she would run across the battlefield, leaving nothing but corpses of her adversaries, knowing only victory.

And now, he's seeing the image of his king of old in her younger counterpart. However...

"No, I... I don't believe I was half as strong as her when I was her age." Artoria muttered much to the surprise of those who could hear her words, making them wonder what kind of circumstances allowed the young girl to become that strong.

Meanwhile, in the corner of the room, Mordred was terribly excited.

"I WANT THAT DOG!"
