As they charged straight towards the fortress, trying her best to not be thrown out of the chariot despite the strong shaking because of the beaten road, Ritsuka noticed that the group's mood was split in three.

On one side, there were those who looked down, either being depressed or embarrassed over the broadcast Merlin showed about them.

"How did this happen…" Vivian bemoaned as she looked down, hugging her knees as she sat in the corner of the chariot, and by her side was Atalanta who was in the same position, looking mortified.

"Ahaha... The Feline Huntress, huh… Just kill me already..." She muttered under her breath as she looked into the void with empty eyes.

'I'm sorry, Atalanta, for forcing you to participate in that charade by asking you to use your Noble Phantasm with Kay...' Ritsuka apologized as she placed her hand over her heart before she shook her head.

'Perhaps her decision to join this group was the worst mistake she could have made...'

On their way to Londinium, they made a short detour to a small village, which was under attack from Vortigern's troops, where they met Atalanta who was fighting alone, trying to repel the enemies on her own.

"I can't thank you enough for helping me save those children." Atalanta said to the group, causing Artoria, Kay and Merlin to look at each other before they softly whispered.

"Brother, look at her. She got a tail and cat ears. Do you think she will let me touch them if I ask?"

"Still, children, she said. Why is she explicitly excluding the elderly, adults and teenagers? Don't tell me she's into children, loving the immorality of tasting their unripe..."

"Alright, stop right now. I don't need you to contamine Artorius's mind with your words. Please don't mind us, as knights, we are only doing our duties." Kay said to Atalanta, all while pulling Merlin's head into a headlock, much to her shock as she just stared at the struggling Magus.

Ritsuka decided to tell Kay about Atalanta being a Servant, one that may help them in their quest, ignoring Merlin who whimpered for help.

"I see... I guess there's no harm in having some extra manpower." Kay muttered, making Ritsuka let out a weak chuckle at the idea of a Servant being merely manpower to him.

"Let us introduce ourselves. My name is Kay and this is my little brother, Artorius. We are on our way to defeat the tyrant who is plunging the country into chaos." Kay began to say as he walked towards Atalanta who narrowed her eyes, wary of the young man.

But before she could speak up, Kay stopped and simply held his hand towards the Servant, a smile on his face.

"Although it was for a single instant, I've seen your capabilities, so I implore you, lady, to join forces with us in order to stop this carnage... for the sake of the crying children who are suffering in this right moment!"

At the last part, Atalanta perked up, along with her cat ears and tail, before she quickly took Kay's hand in hers, all traces of doubt having vanished from her face.

"You don't have to say more, lead the way."

"Good. Then let us go to Londinium."

As they all walked back to the carriage, Ritsuka approached Kay before she whispered to him with a deadpan look.

"Did you really have to stress the kids part? It makes it sound like we're coercing her into joining us."

"Well, it was either that or just kidnap her by the tail. We don't really have the luxury of taking our time so I made a quick choice, and it's not like I lied, so it should be fine."

Hearing his words, Ritsuka nodded reluctantly as the other way would be the same as humiliating Atalanta, something she wished to avoid for the huntress who helped them in the third singularity.

'But in the end, she ended up getting humiliated by Merlin. And as for Vivian, it's nothing new… she's been Merlin's favorite chew toy ever since she got kidnapped by Kay. Poor them.'

After sending them a silent prayer, Ritsuka turned to those who were slightly bothered by the event but didn't let that go to their head.

"I never thought that I would become a knight in this second life and, much less, one of the Round Table. I don't really know what to think about this, I mean, I'm a spy and I can't fight for my life." Mata Hari said with a chuckle, being a bit overwhelmed by the current situation, which she could relate to.

They had met the woman in a town where she was being harassed by the Saxon soldiers, trying to protect a couple of children. Fortunately, Kay quickly came to her rescue and, similar to Atalanta, she joined our group when told that we were on our way to save the country.

"You can say that. For my case, I'm an outlaw and got killed by knights in my life, so imagine my surprise when I got recruited by the legendary King of Knights himself." Robin Hood said as he surveyed the battlefield from his spot, an exasperated look on his face.

"Seriously, I'm starting to think that all of this is just a giant joke..."

In Robin's case, their meeting was more awkward as he was the one who approached them, only to be run over by Red Hare who was too preoccupied with chasing after his dangling carrot… or thought that Robin's head was a carrot because of his orange hair, she didn't know.

Despite everything, he still joined the group after they apologized so all was well.

"You two, at least, are lucky that you weren't portrayed as if you were some undead that came back to life like me!"

At the front, taking the reins of the chariot, Boudica yelled, a bit upset at the description used by Merlin. But Ritsuka believed that it was better than the alternative where she would be described as the great loser who lost against the Romans in her time, coming back for revenge.

That said, even though she had fought alongside her in the second singularity before and knew that she liked to act like a big sister, something she experienced with Mash, she never imagined that she would throw herself at Kay and Artoria when they introduced themselves during their first meeting.

Ritsuka could only blink her eyes in surprise when she saw Boudica happily hug both Artoria and Kay's head into her bossoms, the duo not moving at all as their bodies were frozen stiff.

"Yo-you...! How indecent! What do you think you are doing?!" Vivian shouted by her side as she pointed her staff angrily at Boudica while Merlin just whistled, as if impressed by the Servant's boldness.

"Ah, I'm sorry! They were just so cute, I just couldn't help myself and hugged them! And I can see that you're just as cute as them, how about you let this big sister hug you too?"

"Da Vinci, what's going on? I don't remember Boudica being some kind of a hug fiend..."

[It's nothing but a conjecture but due to the fact that both Artoria and Kay, even though they are from a different timeline, are famous British Heroic Spirits due to being respectively King Arthur and one of the Knights of the Round Table, she must sees them as her younger siblings or something similar, which isn't really weird considering both her motherly nature and that she's the oldest known British Heroic Spirit.]

"I see..." She could only mutter as she looked at Boudica chasing after a running Vivian. Meanwhile, Merlin approached Kay and Artoria before asking them.

"So... how are you two feeling?"

"I felt like calling her 'Mommy', I'm so embarassed..." Artoria muttered as she looked down, a blush on her face, while Kay just stared into the void, an empty look on his face.

"So, that was the Milky Way..."

Shaking her head at the memories, she then turned her gaze to the last group, those who didn't care at all as they had their full attention on the battlefield.

"Cavall, it's time for our battle cry!" Artoria shouted as she raised her sword in the air, her dog howling by her side. Meanwhile, Kay was busy shooting down the army before us with his bow, unleashing a hail of arrows with each shot.

Internally, she compared Kay's bow to insecticide, given how fast and efficient he's killing his enemies.

"How come you two aren't bothered by this? The way Merlin broadcasted it, it looks like we're trying to deceive people."

"The thing is we're just used to her antics, we've been together for nearly a decade by now. And I won't deny that she did in the most dubious way, but if people are skeptical about her claims, then we'll just have to make it a reality, that's all." Kay said that this time, unlike the other shots, he fired a single arrow that flew straight into the fortress's wall, leaving a trail of light behind it, making it look like he fired a laser beam with his bow.

She could only stare with wide eyes as she saw the arrow cross the entire battlefield like a shooting star before hitting the wall, and she was surprised to find that the wall remained intact despite the power behind the shot.

"It seems like the wall was reinforced by someone." She said with Kay nodding at her, clicking his tongue as his bow dissipated into stardust.

"Yeah, and the one who did it is no slouch, that's for sure. In that case, we don't need to deviate from our original plan. Are you guys ready?" Kay asked the group who all nodded in unison, all prepared to play their own part.

It was something they had planned on the spot while on the way. There was nothing concrete that could be called a plan, but it was enough for them to consider it as one, despite Da Vinci and Mash's insistence that they spend more time developing one.

Their group will be split into two teams, an attack team that would raid the fortress and take down Vortigern and a defense team that would protect the town next to the fortress, rescuing and evacuating the inhabitants before they end up in the fray.

The attack team will be composed of Kay and Artoria who were the two strongest in their group, Vivian who elected herself in keeping the two from going overboard, Cavall and Red Hare who both seemed to be excited to join the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the defense team will be made of Boudica, Atalanta and Mata Hari who wished to help the townspeople, especially the latter who also lamented her lack of fighting abilities.

Robin, in his case, said that he was first going to the village and place some traps if needed, sabotage being his speciality, before he joined the attack team.

Merlin... is Merlin, she only planned to broadcast the whole fight, not getting herself involved any further. It really made Ritsuka wonder how Kay and Artoria could tolerate her behavior for a decade by now.

And as for herself…

"Okay guys, time to move out!" Kay shouted as he carried Ritsuka in his arms before he jumped out of the chariot with Vivian, Artoria and Cavall doing the same.

Meanwhile, Red Hare, who was pulling the chariot, had his reins let go , allowing him to run freely as he charged in the direction of the fortress alone with his halberd in his hands.

"Neiiiiiiigh!!"

"Alright, see you later!" Boudica shouted as she summoned her two horses who both took Red Hare's place, pulling her chariot in the direction of the town at the outskirts of Londinium.

"Please be careful!" Mata Hari shouted as she waved at the group, Atalanta and Robin only nodding at them before they positioned themselves with their respective weapons, ready to shoot down any foes.

As he placed her on the ground, he frowned when he noticed Red Hare running in the distance, causing him to let out a small sigh.

"Well, it seems someone is eager to fight..." He muttered before he turned to Artoria and Cavall who were both standing besides him, enthusiastically waiting for his order.

"I want you two to go with Basashi and make the biggest ruckus you can create. It will serve as a good distraction for Ritsuka and I."

"Yes, sir!"

"Woof!"

And like that, Artoria and Cavall ran off in the distance, looking like excited children.

"Morgan... I guess you want to keep an eye on Artorius, right?"

"Of course, I can't let her be in danger." Vivian said as she gripped the handle of her staff tighter, her glasses shining for a brief moment.

"Then I'm counting on you."

As he said that, Vivian ran off, chasing after her little sister while Kay turned his eyes to Ritsuka who gulped her saliva, feeling some kind of pressure from his gaze.

"Ritsuka, are you ready?"

"Yes, I am." She said, clutching her right fist where she could see her Command Seals, ready to play her own role of summoning her Servants.

After establishing that the presence of Servants was possible in this Singularity, the group and Da Vinci deduced that the Boundary Field which covered Great Britain had the effect of preventing any Servant from entering the country from outside, which is why Rayshift failed for the Servants.

However, it didn't stop Servants from being summoned inside the country such as the stray ones like Boudica and the others.

While the idea of her summoning a Servant on her own without relying on the FATE System from Chaldea emerged, Da Vinci rejected such idea as without a System helping with the mana cost needed in order to upkeep a Servant's existence would be too much of a heavy burden on Ritsuka.

And so, they decided on their next plan.

Destroy the Bounded Field again and while it is destroyed she will take the opportunity to summon a Servant from Chaldea before it is completely repaired.

"To be honest, I would have preferred if you joined the defense team but since you insisted on fighting, I let you come along but I'm warning you, you only have one chance." Kay said as he carried her in his arms, running in the direction of the closest leyline, while she wrapped her arms around his neck in an effort to steady herself against his speed.

"From what I've observed, the Bounded Field has been reinforced since I last destroyed it, so I'm sure that Vortigern is being very careful with it. I'm also nearly certain that he reinforced its regenerative capabilities, so it's all about timing. So, I ask you once more, are you ready?"

She wordlessly nodded as she gripped her hands hard, making Kay smile as he accelerated.

Soon enough, they quickly reached their destination where he let her down on her feet before he looked at the sky, cracking his knuckles.

"Alright, let's do this...Da Vinci, can I let you take care of the timing?"

[Sure thing, leave it to this genius! Mash, everyone, please stay on stand-by in your coffins! Ritsuka, just to be safe, don't hesitate to use a Command Seal when calling for your Servants.]

"Okay!"

As she raised her right hand, her Command Spells shining, she noticed from the corner of her eyes Kay also raised his hand above him, along with ten weapons appearing by his side.

While she was curious, she quickly shook her head and started to focus on Da Vinci's signal, ready to summon her friends.

"Reginleiv: Azimuth!"

All of a sudden, Kay shouted as she saw the weapons gather into his hand, forming an azure ball of aura, before he unleashed a giant blast in the direction of the sky and then, a blinding light suddenly enveloped the sky, forcing her to close her eyes.

[The Bounded Field got destroyed instantly! Do it now!]

"Heed my words! My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny! If you heed the Grail's call, then follow humanity's path and answer me! Seventh Heaven clad in the great words of stargazers... Come forth, pass your judgment, and punish my enemies... Guardian of the Scales!"

As soon as she recited the incantation, Ritsuka suddenly felt her body being blown away by a violent wind, surprising her for a moment, before she got caught in a pair of strong arms.

'Is that Kay?' She thought as she still had her eyes closed because of the previous blinding light, so she slowly opened her eyes to see her friend, standing before her with her black shield by her side.

"My name is Mash Kyrielight, and I have answered your call. It's nice to see that you are okay, Senpai!"

"Mash!"

Without thinking, Ritsuka jumped at Mash, hugging her flustered friend in her arms while Kay simply looked at the girls with a smile.

"Da Vinci, what about the other Servants?"

[Unfortunately, it looks like only Mash managed to make the trip as the others were all rejected.]

"Is that so. That's too bad, I wanted to meet with your world's Artoria... Well, I suppose having one person here is good enough." He muttered before he looked behind him and opened his mouth.

"Hey, Merlin, can I ask something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

Then, out of nowhere, Merlin appeared by his side, floating on her staff with a smile on her face.

"Do you think you can recreate the summoning circle that appeared when Ritsuka called for that girl, Mash?"

When she heard his question, Merlin blinked for a few seconds before she chuckled and smirked, her eyes shining with expectation.

"Sure, just tell me when you want to do it. I wonder what kind of Heroic Spirit you will call upon with this..."
