TBBT in the future, Professor Sheldon Cooper meets someone from the past….

##############

After attending Penny's birthday Amy and Sheldon would have lunch every day at Caltech. Very occasionally Leonard would join them at lunchtime when his duties as Dean allowed, one of these days Leonard asked a question.

"Hello Sheldon and Amy, good to see you again. I have finally got a long enough break in my schedule. How is your eidetic memory study progressing?"

Amy replied "Thanks for asking Leonard. The first cohort of people with eidetic memories should be finishing this week. The control group of what Sheldon calls 'Muggles' should be finishing next week."

"Where do you find the people for these tests?"

"They are all people from Caltech. If we are to expand this study in the future we would probably spread our net a bit further."

"Are you doing the same tests that you did with Sheldon."

"Yes, but my colleague Dr. Luke Cornwall and my Ph.D student are doing the tests. Hannah is getting lots of good data for her thesis."

Then Sheldon spoke "Amy has started working on a paper with me as a co-author. I also have a String Theory paper in press in Science, I am doing my work as a Research Professor."

"Good to know that you are still both doing good work. I have a question for you both, would you like to come to lunch in our apartment on Sunday, Penny would love to see Amy again….."

Next Monday Sheldon and Amy meet for lunch again. "Hello Amy, did you enjoy lunch with Leonard and Penny yesterday?"

"Yes I did, I have never met anyone like Penny before, I think I could get to like her."

"How are they doing with the memory tests?"

"Luke and Hannah should be finishing with the last lot of 'Muggles' later this afternoon. I have a meeting with Dr. Cornwall at 3pm this afternoon."

Later that afternoon.

"Good afternoon Dr. Cornwall, have you finished with the memory tests?"

"All done Professor, Hannah is already working on the data analysis."

"Good news, thank you Luke for all the hard work that you have done with Hannah."

"Thank you Amy, I will let you know when Hannah has finished the data analysis and then we can have a meeting to discuss this."

"This should be a big help for Hannah's thesis work."

"I have something else for you, Theresa and I have finally got our wedding date organised, it should be in 3 months time. I hope that you can attend our wedding, perhaps you could ask Professor Cooper if he would like to come…"
