Maizie slipped her arms free from Manning's grasp and stood up. She stumbled out of the truck, Manning and Liz following.

"Maze, what did you see?" Liz asked, but Maizie didn't answer. She looked around as if she was searching for something then looked up into the sky. Manning stepped up to her and grabbed her upper arms.

"Agent Myers!" Manning shook her. Maizie looked at him as if seeing him for the first time. Once he knew she was looking and actively paying attention to him, he spoke again but gentler this time. "What did you see?"

"The troll market," She replied. "I was in there with Abe and Red, but…" she trailed off.

"Agent, was Agent Krauss there?"

"Yes. Yeah, he was. But the woman in my other vision was there too," Maizie replied to Manning. She barely registered the fact that Manning had mentioned Krauss. She looked down to where he had a hold of her. "Could you let go of me?"

Manning looked into her eyes first, "You're okay?"

She nodded, "I'm not going to pass out or anything."

Manning saw the truth in her eyes. He knew the tendency of fainting or being weak when she's had a big vision. He let her go then turned to Liz.

Liz spoke up, "Who is the other woman?"

Maizie looked at her, "Oh, Abe and I didn't tell you about my other vision?"

Liz shook her head. Maizie launched into an explanation of what she had seen in the safe room with Abe. She ended with, "I didn't know they were siblings. I should've known because she bled when he did. The King was their father."

"Damn, getting into family squabbles isn't our job," Manning cursed.

"No but stopping him from finding the rest of the pieces is," Maizie agreed. She explained how the woman had mentioned the crown piece. She figured he must be looking for pieces to gather together, but she didn't know why.

"We have to go," Maizie said as she turned away from the truck. She went in one direction as the other two followed then stopped. "Wait...no…the other way." She muttered as she turned around into the other direction. Liz and Manning looked at each other, concerned for their comrade.

They followed her to a short distance away into a large alleyway. When they entered, Maizie stopped. Liz and Manning stopped behind her and saw across from them Hellboy, the blonde-haired woman, Abe, and Dr. Krauss. Maizie and Abe linked eyes just as the woman spoke.

"It's going for water. Hurry!"

Abe looked at her then at the object in front of them. He scrambled after it trying to catch it. Maizie couldn't see what it was but instinctively, she knew she needed to stop it. She surged forward. They met in the middle, on hands and knees, as they looked down to see the jumping bean slip in between the bars of the grate below. They both froze for a second then looked up at each other.

"Ooooh shit!" Maizie cried as she stood up. Abe stayed on his hands and knees as he looked past her and the others. Maizie turned her head to Liz and Manning.

"Manning! It's time for you to go. It isn't safe anymore," Maizie said. She turned back to Abe who had stood up.

"I'm going to stay right here," Manning bristled at being told what to do. "You do not have the authority to tell-"

Maizie turned around, raised her hand, pointed at the man, and yelled, "Manning! Truck! Now!" She threw her arm in the direction of the truck.

Before Manning could say a word, he suddenly disappeared in her signature smoke and Liz jumped, startled. Maizie couldn't believe what just happened. Liz ran up to her and Abe. Maizie stared at her hand.

"What did you just do?" Liz asked.

"I…I have no idea," Maizie whispered then she turned to Abe. Abe had seen what happened, but he didn't have the time to comment on it as the ground thudded. Everyone jerked as they caught their balance and hear the screeching of cars on the street behind them. The earth seemed to shake.

Hellboy, Krauss, and the woman joined the other three. Hellboy continued past them into the road as he looked around. Krauss and the woman stopped with Abe, Maizie, and Liz. They could hear the screams of confused people. Then it seemed as if the ground stopped its shaking.

The ground exploded from beneath as asphalt rock lifted into the air. A car flew upside down over Hellboy. Hellboy watched as it sailed over. Then it slammed into another car, both squashed. Other cars flew and landed in other areas. People screamed and fire exploded.

"Oh my god," Maizie whispered. "It's here." She looked up as Hellboy did too.

The team followed her eyesight and a creature of green and leaves towered over them. It was more than ten feet tall. Vine-like arms protruded from the body and swung around their heads.

"That's what you saw?" Liz asked. She couldn't tear her eyes away. Maizie nodded silently. She walked up to Hellboy's side, and the others followed.

The woman spoke softly, "It's an Elemental, a giver of life and a destroyer."

Hellboy cocked his head at her, "What?"

"A Forest God," she clarified.

They looked back up just as the God lifted its head. Glowing green egg-like structure greeted their eyes.

Hellboy hummed, "A Forest God huh? I'm gonna get me Big Baby." He left the group and went over to where their supplies were.

Maizie looked at the woman who turned to look at her. She cocked her head at Maizie, "You see all."

"Not everything, but your brother…" Maizie said as she turned to the creature. "He knows Hellboy will kill it. It doesn't deserve that. With no insult to you, your highness, your brother is a dick."

Maizie stepped away from the group and further into the street, waiting for Hellboy. As Hellboy filled up his gun, the woman looked at Abe.

She pointed at Maizie as she spoke, "Who is this?"

Abe looked at Maizie. He watched as Maizie helped a few people out of the street. He had a light smile on his face that only the woman could see. Abe didn't know he was smiling.

"She's…our protector." Abe replied. It was the only word he could think of saying. He wanted to say 'the mother of my future child' but didn't.

"She's your seer," the Princess said.
