Abe and the princess, who had finally given her name of Nuala, was in the library. Nuala looked at the parchment that she had taken from the troll market. Abe was up in his abode putting in specially made contact lenses that allowed to keep his eyes moist.

Nuala's voice rang softly as she spoke, "It's blank. No coordinates."

The princess looked up as she contemplated the blank parchment. She looked around the library. She went over to a shelf and picked up a book. She opened it and read a passage. Abe turned as he heard her voice out loud. He looked down to see her reading from it. He listened as he walked towards the stairs. He spoke as he touched the bottom step, "Tennyson, 'In Memoriam'. A beautiful poem."

Nuala turned and looked at him. Abe walked up to her.

"Forgive me, I did not mean to startle you," He said.

"Oh no," She said with a smile. "No, I borrowed this book. I hope you don't mind."

Abe spoke, "Oh no, please. This is your home now." He gestured around the library. "You are safe here."

She looked down, "My brother will find me. He always does."

He became perplexed, "How could he? Our location is a highly classified secret."

She turned towards the table and set the book down. "That may be so, but my brother and I are connected. We are twins. What he sees, I see. What I feel, he feels. We share each other's pain. He hurts, I hurt. I know of this place, so he knows it as well."

Abe followed her to the table as she continued. "I saw the vision your seer witnessed."

He looked at her, "Might I see?" He raised a hand. She smiled and set hers in his. They closed their eyes and Abe saw everything. His eyes opened, "I see."

She looked at him, "He will succeed unless something changes. Your seer has shown you that."

"You call her a seer, why is that?" Abe asked as he cocked his head towards her.

"That is what she is. You see what has been just as I do. She sees what will be. That is what a Seer does," She explained. "You have discovered a remarkable woman. Seers are rare in my world and highly coveted. It is no wonder why my brother has claimed her for his already."

Abe became so shocked he stood up quickly and turned to her, "Claimed her? What do you mean?"

She looked at him. She touched his arm and gleaned from him. She smiled, "You care for her. But you are conflicted."

"Don't change the subject, Princess," Abe spoke.

She conceded, "My brother has claimed her as his seer. When he succeeds, she will become his seer and use her as he wishes. I do not wish that."

He sighed, "I do not wish that as well."

She smiled again, "Why are you conflicted?"

He crossed his arms as he looked at her. He wasn't pleased she changed the subject back. "I'm not conflicted."

"Oh, but you are," She said. She stepped in front of him. "I feel what you feel. You feel for me, but you feel for her as well. You look different now. I can see your eyes. You did that for me."

"I…I was just trying a new look. It has nothing to do with you," Abe stammered.

She smiled. Abe became nervous. It was unnerving to have someone who seemed to see inside him. Now he could understand why some people didn't always want his touch, especially Maizie. He looked over her shoulder and spotted the parchment.

"Is that a map?" He said as he pointed to behind her and walked around her to the table. He picked up the parchment as she replied.

"Yes, it was in the cylinder. There are no coordinates."

She turned and walked up to him. He handed her the cylinder to which she took with a smile.

"Perhaps there is a watermark," Abe perused as he picked up the parchment and lifted it into the air so the light would hit from behind. They looked at it.

"You were very brave vouching for me," Nuala spoke. Abe cocked his head towards her. "How do you know I'm not the enemy, bringing me here?"

He turned around, "It's what you were saying earlier. A link. An intuition maybe. I don't quite know." He brought up his webbed hand. "I can read others quickly, but I've never met anyone like you."

"Nor I, like you," Nuala spoke in return. She could sense his nerves. The conflict he waged inside between the feelings he had for both women. She ducked her head with a smile, "Good night, Abraham."

She went around him and headed to the exit of the library. She smiled as she heard him stumbling over his words.

"Good night princess, your highness…ma'am."

The door clicked shut and he sighed. He shook his head in embarrassment. He couldn't believe he did that. It was almost like he was a little schoolboy. He leaned back, sitting against the edge of the table. Nuala was right though. He was conflicted. He wasn't sure what to do next.

Hellboy stumbled through the hallway, drunk. He held a can in his hand and a package of five more cans in his other hand. He paused when he thought he heard something. He followed the faint sound to the library. He set his ear to the door, and he could hear soft rock playing. He opened the doors and saw Abe standing with a remote in his hand. He turned towards the red man.

"Hello Red," Abe said as he looked at him. "Well, you're up late."

"What are you listening to?"

Abe turned towards the sound of the music, "Vivaldi. ll cimento dell'armonia." Hellboy took the few steps down into the library and headed to Abe. "I particularly like the last…"

Hellboy spoke up, interrupting him, "Hey, hey. What's that?" He pointed to Abe's hand.

"Just a remote," Abe said as he showed it to him.

Hellboy ignored the remote and pointed to the hand behind Abe's back. He pulled his arm out and Hellboy saw he held a CD case.

"This?"

"Yes."

Hellboy looked at it closely and read it off the case, Popular Love Songs. He thought for a bit then a look of realization showed on his face. "Oh, Abe. You fell for the Princess."

Abe sighed, "She's…I…she's like me. A creature from another world." Abe moved to sit down on the step behind them. Hellboy followed suit and joined him there. He set the drinks beside him.

"But what about Maizie?" Hellboy asked.

"I…I don't know. I am confused," Abe stated.

Hellboy looked at him, "Jeez. You fell for both women."

"She's alone in the world. I want help her. I need to care for her," Abe said as he looked at Hellboy.

Hellboy cocked an eyebrow, "Who? The Princess or Maizie?"

"I don't know. The Princess. Maizie…I…she does not let me touch her."

"You know why though?" Hellboy asked.

Abe hesitated. He felt his back pocket and pulled out a little book. "I believe I do."

Hellboy took it from him and opened it. He recognized the drawing immediately. He looked back up at him, "She finally showed you?"

Abe shook his head, "No she did not. But you knew of her secret?"

"I saw it with her. It was last year. I told you about it remember?"

"I remember." Abe said. He wasn't happy that he might be the only one of them all to know or to have seen his future child. "I've always suspected she did not want me to know."

Hellboy looked up at him, "She'll show you. I'm sure she will." He pulled a drink from the container and offered it to Abe, "You're in trouble. You're in love with two women. Have a beer."

"Oh no I cannot, my body is a temple," Abe refused.

"Just drink it," Hellboy said. Abe took it without reply and opened it. The music softly played as they drank together.
