Crouching Dragon, Hidden Fox
Izuku parkoured through the rooftops as the night air coursed through the city. He had to restrain himself from letting out a cry of excitement. It felt like a whole lifetime ago since he was able to patrol the city at night. Running on the rooftops and catching bad guys were the things that made him feel complete. As his feet took him from one roof to the next, he couldn't help but take in the bright sights that casted an enchanting spell on the night city.
He fired his grappling hook at a tall building, pulling him through the air until he landed on top of a gargoyle. Letting out a sigh, he briefly looked at the city that he swore to protect with a light heart. After being made to stay put for the rest of his healing period, he loved being out in the night once more. Like how a wild cat would be released from captivity and back into the wild.
"Yoo hoo, Izuku. Earth to Izuku, pickup."
Izuku was pulled out of his nightly enjoyment by the latest upgrade his suit had gotten. He pressed his finger on his right ear, where the communicator had been fitted to his mask.
"Hey, Mina, sorry, I got lost in the moment there." Izuku sighed. "Having someone aside from me talking to my ear when on patrol is still new to me."
"Well, don't worry, we'll take turns whispering sweet nothings in your ear, darling~" Alya added from her side of the communicator.
"Yeah, we can't have you falling asleep on the job or getting distracted now can we?" Mina said in her usual flirty fashion.
Izuku had been told that he had to keep both Mina and Alya on the loop of everything he did when on patrol. Which is what led to the creation of the communicator in his mask. He couldn't blame them for wanting to be in the loop. Especially with who he was looking into that night.
The sound of a car stoping at the front of the Agreste Brand Building caught his attention. He pulled out his binoculars, watching with anticipation to see the man he hated more than anyone walk out the front door. His eyes narrowed as Adrien Agrestee walked towards his limousine with Monema walking behind him, taking notes.
It took all of Izuku's self control not to pounce on the Kingpin of Paris. This mission was all about stealth and gathering information, a frontal confrontation would be disastrous. He stayed in his spot as the limousine drove off, taking the most dangerous man in all of Paris back to his home. He looked at his watch, noting the time.
"Agresteee is on the move, he just got out of work at exactly 8:30 pm," Izuku communicated to his friends through the communicator. "I'll follow him."
"Time to see what that murderer does in his spare time." Mina cracked her knuckles on the other side of the conversation.
"Mina, this is a stealth mission, remember?" Alya reminded her friend and lover as Izuku ran after the limousine. "Save the knuckle cracking for the third date. Right, lover?"
"Yeah, let's hold up on that." Izuku ran through the rooftops, keeping his eyes on the white limousine like a cat would a slippery mouse.
Izuku couldn't blame Mina for wanting justice for their friend and superior. He was there when Naomasa saved him. But this foe had to be taken down through the long-game and he knew it. Slow and steady, gathering evidence and knowledge about him before striking and delivering justice. Izuku chuckled, that was police work in a nutshell.
He kept on from the shadows, making sure that he wouldn't be spotted from those below. Izuku wondered where Adrien was going with such clockwork punctuality, and why he had to ride on a limousine of all things. A show of power and position, perhaps. He jumped on to the next rooftop, trying to piece together the kind of psychology that ruled Hawkmoth's life and actions.
But he was so deep in his thoughts that he almost missed a step. He pulled out his grappling hook, firing at the nearby building across the street, catching up to the limousine. He cursed under his breath for losing focus of his surroundings. But he hadn't lost the trace. Izuku kept following the limousine until they made their way to the Eiffel Tower neighborhood, the perfect spot where highly luxurious apartments and 17th century architecture stand side by side. Izuku didn't want to admit it, but he felt extremely poor just by sneaking into the neighborhood.
"Talk about luxurious," Izuku said.
Izuku's eyes landed on the limousine once more as it stopped by a large mansion in the center of the neighborhood.
The mansion was the home of the Agreste family for two generations. It was a large three story mansion surrounded by high walls and a black gate as the only entrance and exit. The roof of the mansion was composed of three domes with an observatory at the very top of the main dome in the middle. Several windows offered the entrance of light from all sides of the house, along with a large garden as part of what could've been considered a backyard. It looked more like a government building or an embassy than the home of a bachelor CEO in the prime of his career.
But Izuku didn't see this as a symbol of wealth or the type of life the 1% had. He saw a big fortified building with lots of security cameras, high walls and limited access. This was a fortress placed in the middle of a neighborhood full of families and people. The perfect spot for a criminal kingpin to hide in plain sight, hard to attack and easy to defend with a 360 degree viewpoint.
Izuku pulled out his binoculars once more, watching Adrien Agreste getting out of his limousine before going up to his home. But just as Adrien was about to walk into his mansion, he turned around, causing Izuku to hide behind one of the buildings.
Adrien narrowed his eyes, feeling like he was being observed. Be they paparazzi or heroes, he knew that many others were keeping an eye on him. One of the many things he found cliche of being at the top, everyone around was looking at you.
"Is something wrong, Monsieur Agreste?" the butler asked.
"No, Philip, it's nothing at all." Adrien walked into the mansion without giving the feeling another glance.
Once the door closed behind Adrien Agreste, Izuku popped out of his hiding spot. With the binoculars still in hand, he looked for a window big enough to look inside the house. He sighed, knowing that unless he managed to get inside the mansion, he wouldn't be able to see anything inside.
"Girls, I'm heading back. Agreste has returned home and I can't get a visual." Izuku informed the communicator.
"No surprise there. The last thing someone like Adrien Agreste would want is to be out in the open with his job." Alya sighed. "Better call it a night, kitty."
"Yeah, tomorrow we have a rough day ahead of us, Izuku." Mina commented, remembering what the day after would be like.
Normally, Izuku wouldn't have gone home so easily. He would've stayed on the streets a little longer, and stopped whatever crime crossed his path. But surprisingly there was very little crime that night and for good reason. Tomorrow was All Might Day, a celebration of the greatest hero of the Golden Age of Heroes.
Izuku couldn't help but smile, remembering the holiday and all the times he watched the parade with his parents. He had seen the hero in countless videos, and his words often led him to smile to take on the new day regardless of obstacles. Giving the horse of Agreste one last glance, Izuku jumped back into the night and back to his apartment. He knew that he couldn't stop Hawkmoth on his own or at that moment, but he swore that he'd find a way to defeat him and bring him to justice.
The morning came like it always did, only this time, it came with a lot of bright smiles and feelings of celebration. For today was All Might Day, the day in which the legendary hero first debuted against the dangerous and powerful Dark Blade. Almost everyone loved this day as All Might for the longest time held the title of Number One Hero of not just Paris but also the entirety of France. Which meant that there was always one small hitch to happen that very day.
"Alright everyone, I know that most of you want to go out and have a nice meal and find a spot to see the parade today," Captain Kendo said, pacing between one end of the room to the other like a boss. "But I want to remind you of all the wannabe rockstar villains that have wanted to be known as the ones that trumped All Might Day. And with this ridiculous bounty on Chat Noir, we will have our hands full." Kendo slammed a stack of papers on the podium.
Everyone stiffened up under her iron glare with good reason.
"Wow, this year the boss is like taking everything up to eleven." Mina whispered.
"Can you blame her? With all that usually happens this day and what has already happened," Izuku said. "She is under a lot of stress."
"She also put a big emphasis on the bounty on your head. You think she's on our side?" Mina asked.
"I'm not sure," Izuku sighed. "She certainly doesn't approve."
"Alright, you all have your assigned patrol areas on these papers, the parade is at six like every other year, that's when I want you all at the ready." Kendo passed down the papers to the officers as they prepared for the day.
Izuku was just about to grab his and Mina's paper when Kendo pulled it away from them.
"A word, you two." Kendo pulled Izuku and Mina aside as the rest of the officers muttered 'good luck' to them. "Now, as you two are aware, today is an important day and the heroes will be working double time to make sure everything goes on smoothly. Which means no distractions or repeats of the Fish Market Incident."
"Well, we didn't cause it on purpose or happen in the middle of a parade." Mina defended their legendary screw up. "It was all that driver's fault."
"He ran that red light." Izuku argued.
Kendo groaned, knowing that she wasn't going to get anything else out of them. She pinched the bridge of her nose, taking in a deep breath of what would be a very long day. She couldn't blame them for trying to put on a brave front for that day at the very least. But there was something else that was bothering the police captain.
"Alright, no need to go around pointing fingers. In regards to your concern about the bounty on Chat Noir, I've spoken to the head of the PSC," Kendo said. "I haven't heard back from them but I believe I left a clear enough message to get it across."
"That's great, so they'll take it down?" Izuku asked.
"Not sure. Whoever flagged Chat Noir has some significant pull within the agency, and they only listen to the Top 10 Heroes outside of other government figures." Kendo narrowed her eyes. "Which means, unless we get proof against that claim or they withdraw it, we might not get anywhere."
"So, it's open season on Chat Noir? Even after he helped us?" Mina asked.
"I did argue that, but they haven't replied to my message. I'll do what I can on my end, but I need all hands on deck for today, understand?" Kendo asked, getting nods from Izuku and Mina. "Just keep your eyes open for anything that looks suspicious. At least for today, let's focus on the events of this day."
"Yes, ma'am!" Izuku and Mina saluted Kendo as she handed them their paper.
"Oh, I see we coordinated with the heroes for this year's parade and patrols. That's nice." Mina looked over the paper. "Don't worry Captain Kendo, we've got this in the bag! Allonz!" Mina pulled Izuku out of the conference room before slamming the door on a passerby, knocking the hot coffee on them.
"AH! Vanilla flavored coffee! WHY?!"
"Sorry!" Izuku called out as they went to the elevator.
Kendo rolled her eyes, hoping the coffee stains and burns would be the worst things she would have to deal with that day.
Izuku and Mina were driving around the city, doing their patrol time, keeping an eye open for anything that stood out to them. However, everything seemed to be going great in their eyes. They drove past several posters and decorations of the great hero All Might.
Children were dressed up in All Might hoodies or had All Might face masks as adults had a fun time watching all the preparations for the parade. The streets were littered with red, blue, white and yellow strings, and flowers. Streamers were scattered over the streetlamps as large stands were being erected for the parade down the main Parisian street.
"Wow, they're making this go all out!" Mina gasped. "I am so going to take so many pictures!"
"Yeah, I can't wait to see the parade this year. Hey, that's Engenium!" Izuku pointed to the armored speedster hero as he saluted several citizens and took pictures with them. "He must be patrolling this area."
"Hey, wanna stop and get a selfie with him, partner?" Mina asked.
"Oh, no, no, we need to keep doing our rounds and find something to do about the bounty on my… head," Izuku muttered, feeling like he probably shouldn't be around heroes.
"Oh, right, right. I completely forgot about the massive bounty on your head," Mina said. "That's got to be awkward. You being a hero fan and suddenly being wanted by all the different heroes of the city." Mina was then met with an unamoused look on Izuku's face. "So, um, any theories on who ratted you out?"
Izuku would be lying if he hadn't been thinking about it ever since they found out. He knew that this was all part of Hawkmoth's latest scheme to attack him on all fronts and end him. Which meant that he was using his influence or one of his agents to put the bounty on him through the PSC. But that raised another question that he had to wrestle with.
"Who's the agent?" Izuku asked.
"Um, partner, you kinda have to give me some more context for my input." Mina giggled.
"Oh, right, I forgot." Izuku blushed in embarrassment at the thought that he had to explain his out loud thoughts. "From what we know, Adrien Agreste took over the empire of the previous Hawkmoth at some point in the last ten years. Which means he gained many powerful allies that obey his every command and made connections that he can use to keep himself hidden and get a profit out of every criminal enterprise."
"That's bad." Mina pointed out.
"But, unlike the past Hawkmoth, Adrien prefers to keep his hands clean. Which means that, whoever is working for him at the PSC has to have a high enough level of clearance to put a bounty on me." Izuku tapped his chin. "And as Captain Kendo said, they only listen to the top tier."
"So, if it can't be a random nobody, but someone that actually has authority." Mina deduced when an idea popped in her head. "Or have a lot of support."
Izuku raised an eyebrow at Mina, wondering what she had come up with.
"What if it's a hero, the one in his pocket?" Mina suggested.
Izuku blinked. He wasn't sure if he had heard Mina correctly. Surely she couldn't be talking about what he thought she was talking about.
"What are you saying, Mina?" Izuku asked. "Are you suggesting that the one that told the PSC to put the bounty on Chat Noir is one of the top ten heroes? Do you realize how crazy that sounds?"
"It makes the most sense. How do you make sure that only the top ten best and most effective heroes go after the guy who's been making your life a pain? By having one of them put it out there." Mina argued. "I know you don't want to believe it but that makes some kind of twisted sense. Why else would Monkey King be after you/ your double?"
Izuku bit his thumb while deep in thought. He wanted to tell Mina that she was wrong and that it was all a coincidence that was not to be considered. He had followed the careers of almost all the heroes that stood as the top ten. His best friend was the Number Two Hero for crying out loud. Izuku could never imagine his best friend taking orders from a man like Hakmoth in a million years. But the logic she was putting out was sane and the reach of Hawkmoth was still being discovered.
"If… if what you're saying is true, then we need to be a hundred percent sure of things." Izuku looked ahead with determination. "We need to understand Adrien Agreste's network as Hawkmoth, which means we have to get ironclad evidence to bring him and his conspirators down. And… if a hero is part of this, we can't ask them for help. We need to be careful who we trust at least until we know where everyone stands."
Mina nodded in agreement. She didn't like it either but there was something to be said about being thorough in this case and the obstacles that they had to face.
Just then the car radio came alive, snapping the two officers out of their stupor.
"Allo allo, this is headquarters, we need any available units to head to the Rue de Vanille, possible vandalism and damage to some of the floats of the parades."
Izuku didn't know why but his hand reached for the radio, answering it.
"This is officers Midoriya and Ashido, en route." Izuku said through the radio, getting a nod from Mina.
"Received officers, you will be met with two of the heroes that are on the scene."
The radio went quiet as Mina drove on.
Neither of them spoke as they drove to the street. The idea that a hero could be working for Hawkmoth had shaken Izuku and made him delve deep in his mind, going from thought to thought in search for answers. He had praised and followed heroes his whole life, they were partly the reason for what he was doing as Chat Noir. He didn't notice that his hands were shaking.
Mina grabbed hold of his hand with one of her free hands. She rubbed her thumb on his hand, calming him down. She flashed him a calming smile, hoping to sooth his troubled mind.
Izuku couldn't help but smile back at her. He knew that she didn't mean it, but his mind tended to go a thousand miles away from where he was when the topic intrigued him. Or conflicted with him. The idea he was faced with was not overly outrageous or impossible, given Hawkmoth's abilities. He knew just how tempting the power of handing out Miraculouses could be first hand. However, he'd have to put the idea of one of the heroes working for Hawkmoth into the maybe pile.
For they had arrived at the street.
Izuku and Mina's eyes landed on the security officer that was waiting for them. They saw the large warehouse where the floats and the large balloons were meant to be stored for the parade. The entrance was open and the security guard looked a little stressed.
"There you guys are. I was told to wait for you guys and the heroes that were coming." The officer tipped his hat. "How do you do? I'm sorry, the other guard called in sick and I've been guarding this whole thing by myself."
"We're good, monsieur, I'm Officer Midoriya and this is Officer Ashido." Izuku and Mina held up their badges for the security guard. "Can you tell us what happened?"
"Well, I was told to wait for you and the heroes that were coming over to check up on the warehouse." the guard rubbed the back of his neck. "But I suppose I can give you a quick summary."
"That would be great, bud," Mina said.
"Alright, so, like I said, I've been keeping an eye on this warehouse while the floats and the balloons were being stored in it. It was supposed to be two guys, but the other guy, Chevalier, called in sick," the officer explained. "So, I'm doing my rounds after all the floats and balloons were stored inside, then I hear a strange sound, like metal moving inside the storage. I ran back to the front door partially open and the lock was cut in half." He held the sliced in two.
"Oof, hate it when that happens." Mina nodded.
"So what happened next?" Izuku asked.
"I rang the police and the heroes so you could come and take a look." the guard answered.
"A good idea citizen."
Izuku and Mina turned around, spotting the owner of the voice.
Behind the two officers of the law stood none other than Lady Dragon and Foxthrob of the Top Ten Heroes. They stood like two imposing statues of heroism of the modern day. Their bright colored costumes glowed with the light of the sun and the decorations made them look like they were stepping out of a comic book cover. They walked towards the group with sparkling lights and doves flying behind them to add to the dramatics of their simple entrance.
"Wow." Mina gasped.
"Y-You can say t-that again, Mina," Izuku whispered.
They slowly walked towards the officers and the security guard that was just standing in awe of their presence. He pushed past the two officers, making them drop their hats, notepads and badges.
"Oh mon dieu! It is Lady Dragon and Foxthrob!" The guard said. "It, it, it, it, it's an honor to have you here! Two great ladies of great standing and heroic reputation! I am at your service for everything you need!"
"We appreciate that very much, monsieur." Foxthrob smiled with a courteous bow, letting her costume look like it was floating in the air.
"We received a call that there was a disturbance in the warehouse. Please, show us what's inside," Lady Dragon said.
"Oh yeah, yes! I haven't been inside yet but I'll gladly show you!" The security guard pushed past the two officers once more, leading the two heroes inside the warehouse. "Thank goodness you two are here, I've been waiting for hours for someone to arrive!"
Izuku and Mina looked at each other in confusion. Had they suddenly become invisible or turned into painted graffiti at the other side of the street? They watched with a little annoyance at the security guard as he led the two female heroes into the warehouse.
"Excuse-" Mina tried to speak up but was instantly cut off by the door being slammed on her face.
"Are you kidding me?!" Mina snapped.
"Let's go inside and not melt a hole on the door." Izuku opened up the door, allowing Mina to walk through. "After you."
"What a gentleman." Mina walked into the warehouse, with Izuku walking right behind her.
Once the two officers of the law were inside the warehouse, they could see all the different floats of the great hero All Might as well as his many, many balloons. They noticed a great number of the floats being used to represent the biggest accomplishments of the hero and his long history of heroics. The balloons were all in different poses of the hero and were all ready to go out and float through the streets.
Izuku and Mina spotted the security guard following behind the two heroes as they scanned the area. They were looking over the floats for any signs of anyone that could've been hiding inside the warehouse. However, the two officers noticed several bits and pieces of the streamers and floats laying and scattered on the floor.
Izuku looked around, noting the lack of light and a clear one way in which the warehouse was meant to work. His eyes landed on the slightly dirtied floor. He narrowed his eyes, tapping Mina on the shoulder, pointing to the floor. She turned on her flashlight, aiming it at where he was pointing, getting a good strange footprint.
"I think we've got something here." Izuku pulled out his phone to take a picture. "It doesn't look like a normal footprint, maybe this-"
However, before he could take the picture, the footprint was stepped on by Lady Dragon's foot. Izuku gasped and wanted to snap at the heroine for what she had just done. He looked up as she scanned the area, but the words died in his mouth. He immediately shut up his mouth as soon as he saw her face. He didn't know how or why, but as soon as he saw her, his mind made her look like a giant. Lady Dragon might've only been third in the rankings but from where Izuku knelt, he might as well be looking at the eye of a great storm.
Lady Dragon took notice of his face.
"Is something wrong?" Lady Dragon asked. "We don't know if there are any threats in here, I suggest putting your phone away. Stay close and try to look for any clues." She walked away with a hand gripping her sword as she went on to look for any other signs of movement.
Mina grew a tick mark as she watched the hero walk away, unaware of what she had done. She tapped Izuku's shoulder, snapping him out of his stupor.
"Hey, aren't you going to tell her off?" Mina asked. "She just stepped on a clue as to who got in here! If Captain Kendo saw any one of us doing something like that, she'd blow a gasket and proceed to murder someone. And yet you're letting a hero walk away like that?"
"I'm sorry, the words just died in my mouth as soon as I was about to yell at her. But as soon as I saw her, I froze." Izuku admitted, rubbing the back of his head. "Lady Dragon started her career six years ago, graduating top of her class with top marks all around. She quickly rose through the ranks thanks to her hard work and dedication. Her battles with her archnemesis, Stormy Weather, are seen as stuff of legends."
"Oh my, are you some kind of heroic encyclopedia?"
Izuku and Mina turned around to see Foxthrob looking at them with a playful smile on her face.
"Um, I-uh, sorry, I was muttering that's all." Izuku bowed his head.
"Oh, don't worry one bit, officer. It's only normal for the public to adore us for our selfless acts of heroism," Foxthrob said. "We shield the burden when things that no one can handle on their own. But we'll be lucky if you two help us out by doing a sweep of everything outside the warehouse. In case there are any mean villains outside waiting to pounce on us."
Before Izuku and Mina knew what had happened, they were standing outside the warehouse with smiles on their faces despite their situation. As a car passed them by, their minds finally caught on to what had happened. They had been kicked out of a potential crime scene with a smile on their faces. It was like being woken up by a large bucket of cold water being poured on their heads and behind their backs.
"What the heck just happened?!" Mina snapped. "She seriously just kicked us out?! Why that little!" She gritted her teeth, facing the warehouse entrance.
"Mina, please, calm down!" Izuku pulled his partner away from the door, hoping to stop her from melting Foxthrob with her acid.
"How can you be so calm, Izuku?! They tamper with a possible crime scene and then they kick us out!" Mina stomped her foot. "Oh I wish I could knock that phony fox lady on her fake ass!"
"Whoa, girl! What did I do?" Alya asked, getting the attention of both officers. "Also, you two know that all my curves are a hundred percent natural."
"Oh, no, sorry, Alya. Mina wasn't talking about you, she was talking about Foxthrob," Izuku explained.
"Yeah, we both know you are the real deal, girlfriend." Mina winked at Alya.
"Wait, Foxthrob? She's here?" Alya asked. "What's going on?"
"Someone supposedly broke into the warehouse, we showed up to see what was going on, but the little miss wannabe vixen and dragon lady just showed us the boot." Mina pointed to the warehouse.
"Lady Dragon is here too?" Alya beamed with stars in her eyes. "Oh my gosh, a scoop with my favorite officers and two of my favorite heroines! This is a dream come true! Tell me everything you can spare." Alya pulled out her recorder as her tail wagged from side to side in excitement.
Izuku and Mina chuckled at the sight of their girlfriend and lady in the chair acting like a little girl at the mention of candy. They sadly didn't have much to tell her thanks to Foxthrob's little suggestion. They decided that they should at least check around the perimeter and find if there was anything missing or if there were signs of someone staking out the place with nefarious intent.
They were already around the back of the warehouse when they finished telling Alya all that they had learned. Suffice to say that she wasn't the least bit amused from what she had just been told.
"So they just kicked you out? No wonder you wanted to kick her ass." Alya wrote down her notes.
"Yeah, I guess we should've expected someone like Foxthrob to use her charm. She has one of the highest percentages of surrendered villains from all the Top Ten. Not to mention her illusions have a few nasty tricks for her enemies." Izuku explained while examining the ground. "She is a hero that has to outsmart her opponents and be two steps ahead of everyone. Her skills to read people and trick them are on par with those of a master psychoanalyst. I wouldn't be surprised if she was trying to pick our brains while we were talking."
"She must certainly be picking Dynamight's brains." Mina whispered into Alya's fox ears.
"Ooh, and why would you say that, Mina?" Alya asked. "Are the rumors-? Wait, how would you know if the rumors are true?"
"Oh, Dynamight is Izuku's childhood friend." Mina revealed before covering her mouth.
To say Izuku went pale would've been an understatement. As soon as his eyes saw Alya's wagging tail, he knew that he was in for a tough one. He tried to run as Alya chased after him with several questions. He could already imagine all the questions that Alya had as her eyes shined like two pointed stars at the idea of an inside look at the early years of one of the greatest heroes of Paris. They must've run around the warehouse three times before Izuku tripped on something by the street. Izuku landed face first on the ground, groaning in pain.
"Izuku!" Mina and Alya rushed to his side as he got up.
"I'm alright. Someone must've dropped something." Izuku looked at what had tripped him, an empty bottle of wine. "A bottle of wine?"
"I know this is Paris but can people wait until the evening to have a drink," Mina said. "It's a matter of common courtesy."
Izuku narrowed his eyes, noticing the state of the bottle. It was brand new. He used his pen to lift it up and read what kind of wine it was. It was an expensive bottle.
"Chateau Lagrezette. 1995." Alya read out loud. "Wow, that was a very good year."
Izuku narrowed his eyes on the name and year. He had heard those names and year before, he just couldn't place them. However, that did raise some suspicions he had when it came to the odd location of the wine bottle. It wasn't thrown in the trash nor broken, so whoever had drunk it was not just throwing it away. The bottle had been placed there on purpose. He looked around, knowing that there was more to be discovered. His eyes landed on the sewer manhole. It was slightly moved, as though it had been moved.
"Mina, I think we may have something. And this is evidence," Izuku said. "Let's see if we can get some fingerprints from the bottle, it may help us find the culprit."
"I'll get a bag for it." Mina went to Alien Queen for an evidence bag.
Just as they were bagging the evidence, both Lady Dragon and Foxthrob walked out of the warehouse along with the security guard. The higher ranking member of the Top Ten Heroes looked a little annoyed while the other heroine had a pleased smile on her face. It was clear that their search had not been as fruitful as they had hoped.
"I don't understand, someone was inside, I swear!" The security guard pleaded for forgiveness.
"Well, there isn't anyone inside now, is there?" Lady Dragon suggested with a glare.
The security guard couldn't help but shudder in fear at the glare of the imposing swordswoman. He bowed over and over, apologizing for the misunderstanding as though that were to prevent a lightning bolt from hitting him.
Mina couldn't help but quietly giggle at the sight as Izuku watched them with great concentration.
"Kagami, please, it was an honest mistake to make. The poor man's lock must've broken and he panicked since he is here all alone. Isn't that right, monsieur?" Foxthrob asked, bending forward just enough to show she had lots to show underneath her costume.
"Y-Y-Yeah, I-I probably got distracted or a little jumpy! Both probably!" The security guard blushed, looking away from the sneaky smile of the woman before him. "I probably just got riled up with excitement for the parade or when the cops arrived and started mouthing off."
Mina was about to snap at the security guard but Izuku stopped her. He shook his head, telling her to keep calm as yelling at the poor man was not going to help anyone.
"You shouldn't blame the officers of the law. It isn't their fault that you went off on a hunch," Lady Dragon sheathed her sword. "We all want this day to go off without a hitch. We should head back, Foxthrob. And remember, codenames only."
"You are so strict, Kagami, I mean, Lady Dragon." Foxthrob teased, getting a slight glare from the number three heroine.
Lady Dragon was not known for her lax attitude. In and out of costume, she was as stern as the day was hot. Raised as the sole heir of her family's legacy and making the top then in her debut year only strengthened her resolve to be the best and be stronger than the men that outnumbered her. Which was why she didn't like working with heroines like Foxthrob or Queen Bee.
Her eyes landed on Izuku, Mina and Alya and what they were doing. She narrowed her eyes at them until they were as sharp as two knives aimed at their hearts.
"What are you doing there?" Lady Dragon approached them as though they were villains in the middle of a robbery.
"Lady Dragon, I'm with the press Lady News Paper news, can I ask you a few questions?" Alya stepped up with her notepad and recorder. "Please, can you tell our readers, how does it feel to be one of the top women in the hero rankings? Do you believe that you must work twice as hard as the other heroes to maintain your standing?"
"No comment. I'm on duty. We left our area unguarded to answer this call, we've wasted enough time here already." Lady Dragon's chest symbol glowed white as she commanded the air around her to lift her away from the street and up to the rooftops followed by Foxthrob.
"I'm so sorry, miss. But my friend here is a stickler for the rules. I would love to answer all your questions, here is my card." Foxthrob handed Alya her card, a shiny fox-themed orange business card that had the heroine's face, number and address of her agency. "If you'd like to ask me any questions, feel free to swing by."
Alya turned around to her friends giving them the thumbs up.
Izuku and Mina smiled at their girlfriend, knowing that they would owe her an arm and a leg by the end of the day. As Alya got inside Alien Queen, Izuku and Mina drove off to the police headquarters, dropping off the bottle for fingerprint analysis and a look into who could have gotten into the warehouse unannounced. They continued on their route with Alya keeping them company and asking the usual journalistic questions as they went along.
Hours passed, and they were still doing their usual patrol of their area. It was simple but very dull to see all the different people that were celebrating and eating treats in the shape of or related to All Might. Even after taking a small break to try out the delicious All-Croissants, they were in no better mood than what they had already done.
"I still can't believe that those were the real Lady Dragon and Foxthrob. Those two girls are legendary!" Alya said, going over her notes. "A little bit of a pity that they were not willing to answer any of my questions."
"Maybe if they weren't so stuck up at pushing us to the side." Mina pouted. "If anything, I hope the other officers find something those two dopes missed."
"But it is weird." Izuku tapped his finger. "Why would Foxthrob mention that the lock just broke? We both saw it and it wasn't broken due to use. That thing was cleanly sliced. Sliced."
Izuku's mind started to think of what could've made the cut. He pushed the thoughts of worry from the heroes out of his mind as well as Hawkmoth. The case had priority and they needed to use whatever time they had to find out what was going on. He focused on what he knew and what he could only assume.
"Everything in there, Izuku?" Alya asked.
"The lock was cut, but we assumed it was because someone wanted to get in. What if that wasn't the case? What if the lock was cut to let someone out? The footprint that I spotted looked like it was walking out, which supports the theory as well as the slightly opened manhole cover." Izuku explained.
"You think someone went in and then went out without taking anything?" Mina asked. "That doesn't make any sense."
"The warehouse is within the radius of the areas that are protected in case of a villain attack. Someone sneaks in and works into the area that's poorly defended then they can move about underground unimpeded." Izuku narrowed his eyes at the thought.
"Wouldn't that mean that they'd have to know which areas were protected and which ones weren't. That's supposed to be confidential." Alya pointed out.
Just then, Izuku's phone started ringing.
"Hello?" Izuku answered.
"Hello, Officer Midoriya, this is the crime lab. We've got a result from the bottle you brought us."
"You found something in the bottle? Fingerprints?" Izuku asked as Mina and Alya listened in on the conversation.
"Oui, we got a match from the database, and you'll never guess who they matched. Armand D'Argencourt, aka-"
"Dark Blade." Izuku gasped as everything started to click.
Izuku knew very well who Dark Blade was. He had been the first villain All Might ever fought against and defeated, his name was immortalized in the Hall of Infamy for all the villains that were defeated by All Might. Their battle had been so epic that the police academy had an important lesson about how police should act in such a situation.
The villain had made a name for himself as the knight of an old kingdom brought back to modern France to establish back the old ways. He had sold himself completely to the role of a knight of the old order, outfit, speech and values included to portray himself as a knight. He wore a dark gray suit of armor with large armored shoulder pads with red markings in the form of claws, a helmet with a long red feather sticking out from the top and red outlines on its eyes. His signature weapon was a black longsword that he used to channel his Miraculous before every single one of his battles.
Dark Blade's Miraculous was the ability to supercharge his blade to cut down anyone and everything that crossed his path. He was nigh unstoppable when he had energy to spare against his enemies. He could easily withstand extreme high and low temperatures, making him practically a walking nimble tank. According to the story, his sword was forged by an ancient swordsmith back during the days of ancient kings and had been passed down generation to generation until it reached him.
"Do we know where Monsieur D'Argencourt is at this moment? I thought that he was supposed to be under vigilance." Izuku looked at Mina and Alya.
"According to the records, he was living under house arrest in Lyon, at an old chateau under his family's name. However, he vanished two days ago."
"Alright, thanks. Communicate to Captain Kendo and tell her that we may have a problem," Izuku said. "I don't think it's a coincidence that D'Argencourt's prints appear on a rare bottle of wine the day of the parade celebrating his archenemy." Izuku hung up the call as Mina pulled the radio and gave the warning to the other units.
Izuku wondered what D'Argencourt was planning. He searched his large almost encyclopedia-like memory for anything regarding the villain. It was at times like this that he hated not having looked more in depth into the different villains.
He remembered that Dark Blade was a proud knight, and hated any form of sneak attack. All the battles he'd had with All Might were out and in the open like the duels between knights. Izuku also remembered that the villain would always leave a clue or a challenge so that All Might or the police would know where to be at the right time and place.
Which meant that they had to put the pieces together of where he could be.
"So, we've got a crazy knight running around the sewers of Paris? What does he hope to accomplish by doing that?" Alya asked. "He'll have all the heroes of Paris on his ass if he tries anything in the middle of the parade."
"I don't think he'll attack the parade, that's where everyone would be, and even he can't take on the entire force of the Top Ten Heroes and the police department." Izuku countered. "He always leaves clues as to what he does and makes sure his opponents have all the time to prepare for a proper fight."
"If only all the villains were like that," Mina rolled her eyes. "We wouldn't have so much paperwork."
"We don't have a choice, we have to return to the scene of the crime." Alya pointed forwards.
"But we were already there and there was nothing there we could find," Mina said. "Plus, that guard clearly didn't care for us when the heroes showed up to make a right all mess out of it."
"Actually, Alya does have a point. Lady Dragon and Foxthrob may have gone there, but Chat Noir has yet to take a look at the crime scene." Izuku smirked, knowing that he would be able to show off his detective skills once more and shine where the other heroes weren't able to.
Mina and Alya shared a mischievous smile with stars in their eyes and sharp teeth in their mouths. As much as they were law abiding citizens, they were also trouble seekers and trouble makers at heart and wanted nothing more to roll out. Plus they loved it when Izuku got that mischievous smile on his face and his brain was going into overdrive by all the ideas.
Mina revved up Alien Queen's engine, taking off at top speed back to the warehouse. She put the pedal to the metal as she drove past the narrow streets, avoiding the decorations and the many people that were preparing for the parade in less than an hour.
Alien Queen parked right at the warehouse, screeching to a stop and scaring the security guard as he was leaving.
"Wha-what are you doing here?!" The security guard snapped.
"Sorry, monsieur, but our boss told us to come back and look around for anything that we might've missed." Izuku got out of the car.
"I doubt you'll find anything. Lady Dragon and Foxthrob went through the whole place top to bottom," The security guard said, puffing his chest in pride.
"In that case you won't be terribly inconvenienced by us giving it another look. See, our boss is very particular about protocol and proper police work, and if she finds out that something happened and we didn't do our job because you didn't let us in," Mina said, getting on the security guard's face. "Well, let's just say that you'll be having a hard time flipping burgers." Mina glared at the security guard like she was trying to melt the man without using her acid Miraculous.
The security guard was quickly deflated into a puddle of shuddering fear under Mina's glare. He was about to cry from the pressure when he started bowing his head like he'd just crossed the queen of England. He muttered apologies as Mina towered over him before he gathered whatever courage he had to talk.
"P… P… P-please go inside if you want…" the security guard sobbed.
"Thanks. We'll just give a quick look around inside and we'll be out of your hair, monsieur." Mina turned and smiled at Izuku and Alya, giving them a thumbs up.
Izuku and Alya couldn't help but feel a drop of sweat falling by the side of their heads. They had known Mina to be menacing when she wanted to but to see her bring a man to tears before them and not even throwing any insults was on a different league of its own. Feeling compelled to congratulate her, they raised their own thumbs up with their approval.
With the guard leading the way, they went inside the warehouse, though they did notice that the place was empty.
"Hey, where are all the floats and balloons for the parade?" Alya asked.
"They were all moved out. Since the parade will start soon, the people in charge of it took them all just a few minutes ago." The security guard pointed to the door with his thumb.
Izuku sighed, knowing that this didn't bode well. He was hoping to get a good look at all the different floats since he didn't have a chance to earlier. He knew that the villain didn't leave the bottle outside for no reason. It was most likely that Dark Blade found a way inside, somehow knowing that this place wasn't as guarded. But how would he have known that?
Izuku's eyes widened as he realized something.
"Monsieur, have you worked with Monsieur Chevalier before?" Izuku asked.
"Um, no, not really. He came in at the last minute a week before the parade. He was always all prim and proper and always on time. Too bad he got sick." The security guard sighed. "I could've used his help today."
Izuku pulled out his phone, searching for a specific picture. He found it before turning it, facing the security guard.
"This wouldn't happen to be Chevalier, would he?" Izuku showed a picture of a grown man with short black hair combed back with a short mustache and clear brown eyes.
"Why yes. That is Chevalier." The security guard pointed to the phone. "But how did you get a picture of him?"
"His real name is Armand D'Argencourt, aka, Dark Blade," Izuku said. "That's how he knew the schedule of the parade and where the floats were stored. He must've hidden in one of the floats after calling in sick and then went down into the sewers."
"Hey partner, check this out." Mina called Izuku and Alya.
Izuku and Alya made their way to where Mina was. They found her kneeling before a small spot of moisture on the floor. It carried a strange smell with it but that made them realize that it wasn't water.
"What is it?" Alya asked. "It doesn't smell like water."
"That's because it's gasoline." Mina pointed to the small pool of liquid.
"Are you sure?" Izuku asked.
"Of course, I've worked on Alien Queen for so many years and on a daily basis that I can tell what kind of liquids cars need to work. Plus there hasn't been any rain in days, so this being a leak on the roof sounds a little too far fetched." Mina got back to her feet. "That and the idea that anyone could be using this spot as a bathroom is too disgusting."
Alya turned green for a second before shaking off that image from her head.
Izuku didn't notice the last bit of the explanation as he noticed a trail following from the spot. He looked around the warehouse, noticing that there were small puddles of gasoline scattered right where the floats were meant to be parked. But each and every single one was small. Which meant that the sabotage that was made to the floats was small due to time constraints or it was meant to be small. Izuku knew that Dark Blade's sword and Miraculous could've easily sliced the whole float in two in a matter of seconds. Which meant that this was deliberate.
The vigilante's eyes then noticed something. He had only managed to count a total of nine puddles scattered around the warehouse. But he remembered that there were ten floats along with ten balloons. That gave him the idea that one wasn't damaged by Dark Blade. But which one?
"Hey, monsieur, how many floats were in here? I know that All Might has done a lot of good during his career, so there's got to have been a selection, right?" Izuku asked.
"I'm sorry, I wouldn't be able to tell you, officer. They all kinda looked the same to me," the security guard admitted.
"The parade will start soon, whatever Dark Blade has planned will begin soon. We must get there as quickly as we can." Izuku checked his watch. "We've only got thirty minutes."
"I'll drive!" Mina pulled out her keys.
The trio drove to where the parade was about to begin, wondering what and where Dark Blade was hiding. However, the streets were no longer a viable option for them to move through. Several of the streets were blocked or closed down for the parade. If that wasn't enough, it seemed like every single Parisian had gathered around to watch the parade as it began. Not surprising given All Might's fame and legacy.
"Damn, we can't pass through. There's too many people," Mina said.
Izuku, Mina and Aya got out of the car as they looked around at the sea of people. They looked over the people, hoping to spot a way through them to continue their search. But it seemed that through every single gap they spotted, two more were blocked by families wearing All Might tributes.
"This is hopeless, we have to find out what's going on." Izuku looked at his watch. "The parade should be starting soon."
"Over there!" Alya pointed to a balcony that several people were using to look at the parade.
Izuku, Mina and Alya made their way through the sea of people, managing to make it to the balcony. Despite being as tightly packed as a can of sardines, they were able to see the parade of moving floats. However they were met with a different sort of parade.
"Where are all the floats?" Mina asked as a single float made its way through the streets of Paris.
"That's weird." Alya pointed out, spotting the other floats and balloons. "Those must be the floats that got sabotaged by Dark Blade."
"And he left the one with him fighting All Might alone." Mina said. "Man, talk about a massive ego."
Izuku looked at the only moving float as he noted that this was no coincidence. Dark Blade was making this a spectacle for a challenge. Which meant that all his clues had to be connected.
"No, this is another part of the calling card." Izuku snapped his fingers. "Dark Blade is sending the heroes a message to challenge him."
"But what does it mean?" Alya asked.
"Yeah, all we've found out is that he is here for some reason. The prints on the bottle, him sneaking around and now only his float going around the street." Mina counted. "It's almost like broadcasting that he's back."
"Exactly!" Izuku snapped his fingers. "All is connected to him specifically. As well as his battle with All Might."
"He's telling us his location?" Mina asked.
"He certainly is a bold one." Alya searched for the location of the battle.
Just as Alya searched for the address of the first battle of Dark Blade, Izuku and Mina's radios came to life.
"All units respond. Any sign of the mayor? Repeat. All units respond. Does anyone have eyes on the mayor?"
"Mayor Andre Borgeous?" Mina asked. "Isn't he supposed to unveil a statue at the end of the parade that he's supposed to unveil? He should be there."
Izuku pulled out the schedule that Captain Kendo had given them at the start of that day. He scrolled down to the last item on the list.
"Alya, is the address 200 Rue de Londres?" Izuku asked.
"It is!" Alya nodded.
At the end of the All Might parade, away from the prying eyes of the public, and the heroes, stood a tall statue of a large muscular smiling man with sharp V-shaped hair. This was All Might's new statue in memory of his services to the city and its people. At the feet of the statue a single glass of wine was placed by an armored hand.
"It is a dreadful thing that you are not here, All Might. Your statue is a pale imitation of your true heroic chivalry." Dark Blade looked up at the statue while he had his helmet under his left arm and another glass of wine in his right hand. "And now, I can only wait to see if there is another hero out there to honor me with this last battle. Though I doubt they'll hold a candle to our first battle."
Dark Blade turned around, hearing a gagged moan. His eyes landed on a large man with a sash across his torso with the colors of the French flag, a black suit and a severe lack of spine. This was the mayor, Andre Borgeous, and the current bait of Dark Blade's plan.
It had been easy for Dark Blade to take him away from his personal security team. With everyone focused on the parade, he was able to kidnap the mayor without anyone being the wiser. He almost wished that there had been more challenges to it.
"You need not worry, Monsieur Mayor. Should there be no hero to arrive and stop me, I shall set you free." Dark Blade lifted his glass. "Salute." He took a swig of the glass.
"Forgive me if I don't join you in your toast, Dark Blade."
Dark Blade turned around, spotting Char Noir dropping down behind him.
"Monsieur, I must ask, who are you?!" Dark Blade asked.
"My name is Chat Noir, and I've come to stop you, Dark Blade!" Chat Noir pulled out his Kali Sticks, assuming a combative stance.
Dark Blade gave the vigilante a look once over, unsure as to who this man was. He'd heard about the vigilante running around Paris, but he never thought that he would be the one to come answer his challenge.
"I see the stories of your ill timing are true, monsieur. Though you are not the one that I expected to answer my challenge." Dark Blade put down the glass before putting on his helmet. "But you have picked up my challenge, and I shall face you head on!" He unsheathed his blade, aiming it at the vigilante.
Izuku and Dark Blade charged at each other, clashing steel against steel. They were both matched with intensity but one false move and it would be over for the vigilante. They jumped back before clashing steel once more. Dark Blade dug his heel against the floor, springing straight at Chat Noir, thrusting his blade forward in a jab only for Izuku to block it with his Kali stick, sending it down.
Izuku jumped back dodging an upwards diagonal slice. He ducked under another swing of the sword before he smacked the knight across the helmet with his left Kali stick before spinning in place for a spinning kick to the back of the villain's side. But he didn't stop there. He rushed the knight spinning his Kali sticks in his hands before unleashing a barrage of strikes at the powerful villain.
But not all the attacks landed against the villain. Dark Blade was surprisingly agile with his heavy suit of armor on, and knew his way around the blade enough to block and counter the vigilante's weapons whenever he could.
"I see that I have met a true warrior in you, Chat Noir." Dark Blade pulled back his blade before it started glowing. "Now we shall see if you live up to my full expectations!"
Dark Blade focused his Miraculous onto his blade, making it glow bright red with power. He swung the blade at Chat Noir, forcing him to bend backwards and managing to only cut the tip of his fedora. But that swing was only the first of several. The knight swung his sword with lightning speed, forcing Izuku to step back. Some of the swings he made were so strong that they cut the ground under their feet.
Izuku was forced to only evade. He'd seen All Might's first fight enough times to know that his Kali sticks would be sliced to scrap metal filings. He needed to think of a plan before countering the power of the villain's Miraculous.
"What's the matter, Chat Noir? Have you lost your sharpness?" Dark Blade taunted only for Izuku to duck under the sword swing striking the villain's armpit. "Arg! Finally a worthy adversary! A hero of skill, wit and courage!"
"That's one of the nicest things an opponent has ever said to me!" Chat Noir spun his Kali sticks, blocking another swing of the knight.
However, just as the battle seemed to turn in Izuku's favor, a bolt of lightning separated them.
Izuku looked up and saw none other than Lady Dragon and Foxthrob, who had the mayor in her hands.
"Then you shall enjoy being in the same prison cell as him when you're both arrested!" Lady Dragon aimed her sword at them. "Foxthrob, get the mayor to safety!"
"As you wish, Lady Dragon." Foxthrob covered herself and the mayor in one of her illusions making them disappear.
Lady Dragon jumped in, slicing at them with her electric sword, forcing Izuku to jump back while Dark Blade held his ground. She started clashing swords with the villain at lightning speeds. Her moves were fast, faster than the knight had expected, but he was still holding strong. Like a samurai warrior, Lady Dragon sent a powerful gust of air with her swings.
Izuku couldn't believe his eyes. Lady Dragon was battling against Dark Blade and was actually pushing him back. But his eyes noticed something on the villain's armor. It was glowing. He rushed to held the heroine, but the air was getting too strong to move forwards.
"Air Dragon!" Lady Dragon summoned the wind around her, jumping towards Dark Blade.
Lady Dragon swung her blade in a diagonal curve, clashing with Dark Blade, pushing him back and chipping his armor.
"You are powerful, my lady!" Dark Blade dug his heels, stopping himself. "But this battle cannot be won with power and blind ambition alone!" Dark Blade's sword glowed a bright red, unleashing a red blast of energy to cut cleanly through the air.
"Water Dragon!" Lady Dragon transformed her body into a liquid form, becoming intangible to the attack.
Lady Dragon tried to pull herself together, but the attack had spread her out. Her Miraculous had an annoying set that she had to follow almost all the time. And now she was stuck in her water form. She focused on putting herself together as Dark Blade walked towards her.
"If you thought I wasn't aware of your skills, then you are sorely mistaken, my lady. They gave me plenty of information for me to use." Dark Blade prepared for another attack. "I knew my armor would withstand your onslaught of attacks if I added some extra power to it. But now you are at my mercy, you fought well, samurai woman."
Just then, a grappling wrapped around Dark Blade's hands.
Dark Blade turned around, only to get pulled by Chat Noir's cable, knocking him out of his balance. He tried to pull back but Izuku held him back, pulling him towards him.
"You won't defeat me with tricks, Chat Noir!" Dark Blade dug his heels, keeping himself in place.
"That's the thing about tricks, Dark Blade." Izuku gripped his grappling hook before pulling the retract button. "You can use them in many ways!" Izuku ran towards Dark Blade, as he was being pulled by his grappling hook.
Dark Blade lost his balance as Izuku twisted his body forward.
The vigilante landed a double kick on the knight's face, knocking the helmet off. Izuku skidded to a halt before tackling Dark Blade from behind, bringing him into a German Suplex. His eyes landed on the blade as it finally came out of the knight's hands.
"Your Miraculous may make your sword super powerful and your armor almost invincible, but once they're off, you're just like any other person!" Izuku released Dark Blade before punching the knight in the face.
Izuku tied up Dark Blade just to make sure he couldn't go anywhere. He heard movement behind him, spotting Lady Dragon forming back to her full body.
"You stopped him," Lady Dragon said. "Why?"
"He is a villain that threatened the life of someone, it seems self-explanatory." Izuku reached for a smoke bomb.
"The reports said that you were dangerous and should be arrested on sight. You have my thanks for helping me in this endeavor but I have to take you in." Lady Dragon aimed her sword at him.
"Then give this message to the other heroes, I am not the enemy." Izuku threw a smoke bomb at his feet, covering himself in smoke.
Lady Dragon charged at the smoke screen, swinging her sword to spread it. But all she found was that he had already escaped.
"Say what you want about, Monsieur Chat Noir, but now there is a man that has a good eye for the classics." Dark Blade smirked much to Lady Dragon's annoyance.
The next morning, Izuku, Alya and Mina had gathered in Izuku's apartment to compare notes and what he had learned the other night.
"So, you're saying that one of the heroes may be in Hawkmoth's pocket?" Alya asked.
"Well, the information that Dark Blade had was far too precise to have just been heard in passing." Izuku argued. "He knew what warehouse security worked within the perimeter, which areas would be patrolled by a hero, the mayor's route and location of the statue. All those things can't be a coincidence."
"We know it's a lot to take in, but how else could this have happened?" Mina asked.
Alya went over the information in her head as she looked at one of the morning's articles. Pictures of destroyed stores and robbed banks marked a dark underlining to yesterday's celebrations. Some were stopped, but others got away scott free. Despite the safe return of the mayor and the capture of Dark Blade, the heroes had failed to stop most of the crimes that took place.
"Makes sense, all the heroes searched within the perimeter, while different banks and stores were hit last night." Alya bit her thumb. "But that just means that someone is playing the game with the deck stacked in their favor. They have a mole in their ranks."
"Which means we need to have some allies that we can trust." Mina said. "We need to find the mole and bring him or her to justice."
"I think I know where to start," Izuku said.
Captain Kendo sat down in her apartment drinking a cup of tea to calm down her nerves. The fiasco of yesterday was still replaying in her mind and she wanted nothing more than to find the ones responsible and strangle them.
"Captain Kendo."
Kendo turned around at the sound of a strange voice. Her fists were enlarged and ready, only stopping herself when she saw who it was.
"We need to talk," Izuku in his Chat Noir uniform said.
