Chapter 7 Snowball's rescue a success
Snowball couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the animals bust through the doors. "Tiny Dog and the rest of my friends you came!" Snowball cried happily as he was happy to see his friends from his neighborhood. "Of course we're here to rescue you" Max declared as he and the others were surrounded by the flushed pets. "So you really think you can stop us? We have you outnumbered" Ricky pointed out. Max and Duke were surprised to see that Ricky the goose who Snowball mentioned was alive because Snowball said he was dead. Gidget being the feisty little dog that she has always been dropped kicked the animal that pressed the button that was lowering the chain Snowball was tied to.
Ricky saw what was happening and he became angry. "STOP THAT LITTLE FLUFF BALL AND ALL OF THESE PETS!" Ricky screamed as the flushed pets began to fight Snowball's friends. Despite their best efforts it was a difficult fight because the flushed pets did outnumber the pets from the neighborhood. Tattoo the pig looked at the animals fighting and thought about what Snowball told him. He began to think that all of this fighting was pointless and after hearing Snowball's story about his life with his new owner Tattoo wanted to have a home as well. "STOP THE FIGHTING!" Tattoo screamed. Everybody stopped fighting because they all wanted to know why Tattoo wanted everyone to stop fighting including Ricky. "The fighting has to stop. Look I get it all of us were abandoned by our owners for several reasons that hurt all of us deeply. For me as you all know the trainees ran out of room to practice drawing tattoos which is animal cruelty. Most people didn't want to adopt me because of the way I am which led to my decision to join the flushed pets. However, after hearing Snowball's story about that little girl who loves him made me realize maybe there is somebody out there who isn't all bad."
Ricky was shocked to hear Tattoo's speech and exclaimed, "You would seriously prefer to be a pet than being a member of the flushed pets?" Tattoo replied, "Yeah I would and I see in some of you that you don't want this life anymore. I've noticed a couple of times that some of you have sad looks on your faces whenever you see an animal with a human that shows love and affection to each other wishing it was you. I can tell because I heard some of you quietly cry at night about feeling lonely." As soon as Tattoo the pig was done talking Ricky really became enraged and shouted as he looked at the flushed pets, "Is this true?! DO SOME OF YOU WANT OUT OF THE GANG?!" Some of the flushed pets were too stung to speak but they started walking slowly towards Snowball's friends and realized enough is enough. "Fine then all of you who sided with these pets are going down as well" Stated Ricky as the animals continued fighting.
Since more of the flushed pets sided with the neighborhood pets the fight came to an end and Gidget knocked out a lot of animals as well. As for Ricky, even though he was beaten Ricky had enough strength to fly over to the control panel where the button was and pressed it, dropping Snowball into the unknown pen. Snowball screamed as Ricky laughed and tried to escape. Tattoo somehow managed to jump really high into the air and pin Ricky down with his. "To think I was considering you to be my second in command" exclaimed Ricky before passing out. Max and the others found a cage for Ricky and the other flushed pets who didn't turn their backs on Ricky and placed them there. After that they hurried to where Snowball was dropped and they heard Snowball screaming, "NO STOP PLEASE!"
Everyone thought Snowball was dropped into a cage with dangerous animals and they were attacking him. Turns out Snowball was dropped inside a pen filled with kittens and they were tickling Snowball with their whiskers. Snowball was laughing as he managed to say, "GET ME OUT OF HEHEHEHEHEHERERE! I CAN'T TAKE IT!" Tiberius swooped in and got Snowball out. When Snowball was able to stop laughing he looked at his friends from his neighborhood along with members of the flushed pets who chose to leave the gang. Then Snowball said, "I don't think I can thank you all for rescuing me. I can't believe Ricky would do this to me and he wanted to drag me back into my old life. I'm grateful to all of you. And Tattoo there is no doubt in my mind that would want to adopt a pig as loyal as you."
Everybody hugged Snowball and were relieved they got there in time. All of a sudden Ozone and his gang of alley cats came in and shouted, "Ricky where are you? Those pets are coming to rescue Snowball…" Before Ozone could finish what he was saying he spotted Ricky knocked out and locked in a cage. That was when Ozone realized he was too late and knew he should leave to avoid getting beaten up especially by Gidget who he is most afraid of. "I wanna go home to Molly. I don't want her to come home to an empty room without me in it" Snowball said to his friends and agreed as they all rushed back home before their owners came home.
